Surah 14. Ibrahim (Abrahim) V52 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓرٰ ۫Alif Laam Ra كِتٰبٌA Book اَنْزَلْنٰهُwhich We have revealed اِلَیْكَto you لِتُخْرِجَso that you may bring out النَّاسَthe mankind مِنَfrom الظُّلُمٰتِthe darkness[es] اِلَیto النُّوْرِ ۙ۬the light بِاِذْنِby the permission رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord اِلٰیto صِرَاطِthe Path الْعَزِیْزِ(of) the All-Mighty الْحَمِیْدِthe Praiseworthy ۟ۙ(1) اللّٰهِAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One لَهٗto Him (belongs) مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth وَوَیْلٌAnd woe لِّلْكٰفِرِیْنَto the disbelievers مِنْfrom عَذَابٍthe punishment شَدِیْدِsevere ۟ۙ(2) لَّذِیْنَThose who یَسْتَحِبُّوْنَlove more الْحَیٰوةَthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world عَلَیthan الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter وَیَصُدُّوْنَand hinder عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) Path اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَیَبْغُوْنَهَاand seek in it عِوَجًا ؕcrookedness اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose فِیْ[in] ضَلٰلٍ(are) far astray بَعِیْدٍ(are) far astray ۟(3) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْany رَّسُوْلٍMessenger اِلَّاexcept بِلِسَانِwith the language قَوْمِهٖ(of) his people لِیُبَیِّنَso that he might make clear لَهُمْ ؕfor them فَیُضِلُّThen Allah lets go astray اللّٰهُThen Allah lets go astray مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَهْدِیْand guides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَهُوَAnd He الْعَزِیْزُ(is) the All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟(4) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مُوْسٰیMusa بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤwith Our Signs اَنْthat اَخْرِجْBring out قَوْمَكَyour people مِنَfrom الظُّلُمٰتِthe darkness[es] اِلَیto النُّوْرِ ۙ۬the light وَذَكِّرْهُمْAnd remind them بِاَیّٰىمِof the days اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) the signs لِّكُلِّfor everyone صَبَّارٍpatient شَكُوْرٍand thankful ۟(5) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 255 - Juz 13 وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid مُوْسٰیMusa لِقَوْمِهِto his people اذْكُرُوْاRemember نِعْمَةَ(the) Favor of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Favor of Allah عَلَیْكُمْupon you اِذْwhen اَنْجٰىكُمْHe saved you مِّنْfrom اٰلِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun یَسُوْمُوْنَكُمْthey were afflicting you سُوْٓءَ(with) evil الْعَذَابِtorment وَیُذَبِّحُوْنَand were slaughtering اَبْنَآءَكُمْyour sons وَیَسْتَحْیُوْنَand letting live نِسَآءَكُمْ ؕyour women وَفِیْAnd in ذٰلِكُمْthat بَلَآءٌ(was) a trial مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟۠(6) وَاِذْAnd when تَاَذَّنَproclaimed رَبُّكُمْyour Lord لَىِٕنْIf شَكَرْتُمْyou are thankful لَاَزِیْدَنَّكُمْsurely I will increase you وَلَىِٕنْbut if كَفَرْتُمْyou are ungrateful اِنَّindeed عَذَابِیْMy punishment لَشَدِیْدٌ(is) surely severe ۟(7) وَقَالَAnd said مُوْسٰۤیMusa اِنْIf تَكْفُرُوْۤاyou disbelieve اَنْتُمْyou وَمَنْand whoever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًا ۙall فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَغَنِیٌّcertainly (is) Free of need حَمِیْدٌPraiseworthy ۟(8) اَلَمْHas not یَاْتِكُمْcome to you نَبَؤُا(the) news الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who مِنْ(were) before you قَبْلِكُمْ(were) before you قَوْمِthe people نُوْحٍof Nuh وَّعَادٍand Aad وَّثَمُوْدَ ۛؕ۬and Thamud وَالَّذِیْنَand those who مِنْ(were) after them بَعْدِهِمْ ۛؕ(were) after them لَاNone یَعْلَمُهُمْknows them اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهُ ؕAllah جَآءَتْهُمْCame to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs فَرَدُّوْۤاbut they returned اَیْدِیَهُمْtheir hands فِیْۤin اَفْوَاهِهِمْtheir mouths وَقَالُوْۤاand they said اِنَّاIndeed we كَفَرْنَا[we] disbelieve بِمَاۤin what اُرْسِلْتُمْyou have been sent بِهٖwith [it] وَاِنَّاand indeed, we لَفِیْ(are) surely in شَكٍّdoubt مِّمَّاabout what تَدْعُوْنَنَاۤyou invite us اِلَیْهِto it مُرِیْبٍsuspicious ۟(9) قَالَتْSaid رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers اَفِیCan (there) be about اللّٰهِAllah شَكٌّany doubt فَاطِرِ(the) Creator السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth یَدْعُوْكُمْHe invites you لِیَغْفِرَso that He may forgive لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ[of] ذُنُوْبِكُمْyour sins وَیُؤَخِّرَكُمْand give you respite اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّی ؕappointed قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنْNot اَنْتُمْyou اِلَّا(are) but بَشَرٌa human مِّثْلُنَا ؕlike us تُرِیْدُوْنَyou wish اَنْto تَصُدُّوْنَاhinder us عَمَّاfrom what كَانَused to یَعْبُدُworship اٰبَآؤُنَاour forefathers فَاْتُوْنَاSo bring us بِسُلْطٰنٍan authority مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(10) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 256 - Juz 13 قَالَتْSaid لَهُمْto them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers اِنْNot نَّحْنُwe (are) اِلَّاbut بَشَرٌa human مِّثْلُكُمْlike you وَلٰكِنَّbut اللّٰهَAllah یَمُنُّbestows His Grace عَلٰیon مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهٖ ؕHis slaves وَمَاAnd not كَانَis لَنَاۤfor us اَنْthat نَّاْتِیَكُمْwe bring you بِسُلْطٰنٍan authority اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِby the permission of Allah اللّٰهِ ؕby the permission of Allah وَعَلَیAnd upon اللّٰهِAllah فَلْیَتَوَكَّلِso let put (their) trust الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَthe believers ۟(11) وَمَاAnd what لَنَاۤ(is) for us اَلَّاthat not نَتَوَكَّلَwe put our trust عَلَیupon اللّٰهِAllah وَقَدْwhile certainly هَدٰىنَاHe has guided us سُبُلَنَا ؕto our ways وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّAnd surely we will bear with patience عَلٰیon مَاۤwhat اٰذَیْتُمُوْنَا ؕharm you may cause us وَعَلَیAnd upon اللّٰهِAllah فَلْیَتَوَكَّلِso let put (their) trust الْمُتَوَكِّلُوْنَthe ones who put (their) trust ۟۠(12) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لِرُسُلِهِمْto their Messengers لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُمْSurely we will drive you out مِّنْof اَرْضِنَاۤour land اَوْor لَتَعُوْدُنَّsurely you should return فِیْto مِلَّتِنَا ؕour religion فَاَوْحٰۤیSo inspired اِلَیْهِمْto them رَبُّهُمْtheir Lord لَنُهْلِكَنَّWe will surely destroy الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۙ(13) وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُAnd surely We will make you dwell الْاَرْضَ(in) the land مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْ ؕafter them ذٰلِكَThat لِمَنْ(is) for whoever خَافَfears مَقَامِیْstanding before Me وَخَافَand fears وَعِیْدِMy Threat ۟(14) وَاسْتَفْتَحُوْاAnd they sought victory وَخَابَand disappointed كُلُّevery جَبَّارٍtyrant عَنِیْدٍobstinate ۟ۙ(15) مِّنْof him وَّرَآىِٕهٖAhead جَهَنَّمُ(is) Hell وَیُسْقٰیand he will be made to drink مِنْof مَّآءٍwater صَدِیْدٍpurulent ۟ۙ(16) یَّتَجَرَّعُهٗHe will sip it وَلَاbut not یَكَادُhe will be near یُسِیْغُهٗ(to) swallowing it وَیَاْتِیْهِAnd will come to him الْمَوْتُthe death مِنْfrom كُلِّevery مَكَانٍside وَّمَاbut not هُوَhe بِمَیِّتٍ ؕwill die وَمِنْAnd ahead of him وَّرَآىِٕهٖAnd ahead of him عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment غَلِیْظٌharsh ۟(17) مَثَلُ(The) example الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِرَبِّهِمْin their Lord اَعْمَالُهُمْtheir deeds كَرَمَادِ(are) like ashes شْتَدَّتْblows furiously بِهِon it الرِّیْحُthe wind فِیْin یَوْمٍa day عَاصِفٍ ؕstormy لَاNo یَقْدِرُوْنَcontrol (they have) مِمَّاof what كَسَبُوْاthey have earned عَلٰیon شَیْءٍ ؕanything ذٰلِكَThat هُوَ[it] الضَّلٰلُ(is) the straying الْبَعِیْدُfar ۟(18) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 257 - Juz 13 اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth اِنْIf یَّشَاْHe wills یُذْهِبْكُمْHe can remove you وَیَاْتِand bring بِخَلْقٍa creation جَدِیْدٍnew ۟ۙ(19) وَّمَاAnd not ذٰلِكَ(is) that عَلَیon اللّٰهِAllah بِعَزِیْزٍgreat ۟(20) وَبَرَزُوْاAnd they will come forth لِلّٰهِbefore Allah جَمِیْعًاall together فَقَالَthen will say الضُّعَفٰٓؤُاthe weak لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اسْتَكْبَرُوْۤاwere arrogant اِنَّاIndeed we كُنَّاwe were لَكُمْyour تَبَعًاfollowers فَهَلْso can اَنْتُمْyou (be) مُّغْنُوْنَthe one who avails عَنَّاus مِنْfrom عَذَابِ(the) punishment اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْanything شَیْءٍ ؕanything قَالُوْاThey will say لَوْIf هَدٰىنَاAllah had guided us اللّٰهُAllah had guided us لَهَدَیْنٰكُمْ ؕsurely we would have guided you سَوَآءٌ(It is) same عَلَیْنَاۤfor us اَجَزِعْنَاۤwhether we show intolerance اَمْor صَبَرْنَاwe are patient مَاnot لَنَا(is) for us مِنْany مَّحِیْصٍplace of escape ۟۠(21) وَقَالَAnd will say الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan لَمَّاwhen قُضِیَhas been decided الْاَمْرُthe matter اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah وَعَدَكُمْpromised you وَعْدَa promise الْحَقِّ(of) truth وَوَعَدْتُّكُمْAnd I promised you فَاَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ؕbut I betrayed you وَمَاBut not كَانَI had لِیَI had عَلَیْكُمْover you مِّنْany سُلْطٰنٍauthority اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat دَعَوْتُكُمْI invited you فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْand you responded لِیْ ۚto me فَلَاSo (do) not تَلُوْمُوْنِیْblame me وَلُوْمُوْۤاbut blame اَنْفُسَكُمْ ؕyourselves مَاۤNot اَنَا(can) I بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ(be) your helper وَمَاۤand not اَنْتُمْyou (can) بِمُصْرِخِیَّ ؕ(be) my helper اِنِّیْIndeed, I كَفَرْتُdeny بِمَاۤ[of what] اَشْرَكْتُمُوْنِyour association of me (with Allah) مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore اِنَّIndeed الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(22) وَاُدْخِلَAnd will be admitted الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds جَنّٰتٍ(to) Gardens تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers خٰلِدِیْنَ(will) abide forever فِیْهَاin it بِاِذْنِby the permission رَبِّهِمْ ؕ(of) their Lord تَحِیَّتُهُمْtheir greetings فِیْهَاtherein سَلٰمٌ(will be) peace ۟(23) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see كَیْفَhow ضَرَبَAllah sets forth اللّٰهُAllah sets forth مَثَلًاthe example كَلِمَةًa word طَیِّبَةًgood كَشَجَرَةٍ(is) like a tree طَیِّبَةٍgood اَصْلُهَاits root ثَابِتٌ(is) firm وَّفَرْعُهَاand its branches فِی(are) in السَّمَآءِthe sky ۟ۙ(24) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 258 - Juz 13 تُؤْتِیْۤGiving اُكُلَهَاits fruit كُلَّall حِیْنٍtime بِاِذْنِby the permission رَبِّهَا ؕof its Lord وَیَضْرِبُAnd Allah sets forth اللّٰهُAnd Allah sets forth الْاَمْثَالَthe examples لِلنَّاسِfor mankind لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَremember ۟(25) وَمَثَلُAnd (the) example كَلِمَةٍ(of) a word خَبِیْثَةٍevil كَشَجَرَةٍ(is) like a tree خَبِیْثَةِevil جْتُثَّتْuprooted مِنْfrom فَوْقِthe surface الْاَرْضِ(of) the earth مَاnot لَهَاfor it مِنْ(is) any قَرَارٍstability ۟(26) یُثَبِّتُAllah keeps firm اللّٰهُAllah keeps firm الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve بِالْقَوْلِwith the firm word الثَّابِتِwith the firm word فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَفِیand in الْاٰخِرَةِ ۚthe Hereafter وَیُضِلُّAnd Allah lets go astray اللّٰهُAnd Allah lets go astray الظّٰلِمِیْنَ ۙ۫the wrongdoers وَیَفْعَلُAnd Allah does اللّٰهُAnd Allah does مَاwhat یَشَآءُHe wills ۟۠(27) اَلَمْHave not تَرَyou seen اِلَی[to] الَّذِیْنَthose who بَدَّلُوْا(have) changed نِعْمَتَ(the) Favor اللّٰهِ(of) Allah كُفْرًا(for) disbelief وَّاَحَلُّوْاand they led قَوْمَهُمْtheir people دَارَ(to the) house الْبَوَارِ(of) destruction ۟ۙ(28) جَهَنَّمَ ۚHell یَصْلَوْنَهَا ؕ(in) it they will burn وَبِئْسَand a wretched الْقَرَارُplace to settle ۟(29) وَجَعَلُوْاAnd they set up لِلّٰهِto Allah اَنْدَادًاequals لِّیُضِلُّوْاso that they mislead عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِهٖ ؕHis Path قُلْSay تَمَتَّعُوْاEnjoy فَاِنَّbut indeed مَصِیْرَكُمْyour destination اِلَی(is) to النَّارِthe Fire ۟(30) قُلْSay لِّعِبَادِیَto My slaves الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve یُقِیْمُوا(to) establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayers وَیُنْفِقُوْاand (to) spend مِمَّاfrom what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them سِرًّاsecretly وَّعَلَانِیَةًand publicly مِّنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] یَّاْتِیَcomes یَوْمٌa Day لَّاnot بَیْعٌany trade فِیْهِin it وَلَاand not خِلٰلٌany friendship ۟(31) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth وَاَنْزَلَand sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَاَخْرَجَthen brought forth بِهٖfrom it مِنَof الثَّمَرٰتِthe fruits رِزْقًا(as) a provision لَّكُمْ ۚfor you وَسَخَّرَand subjected لَكُمُfor you الْفُلْكَthe ships لِتَجْرِیَso that they may sail فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea بِاَمْرِهٖ ۚby His command وَسَخَّرَand subjected لَكُمُfor you الْاَنْهٰرَthe rivers ۟ۚ(32) وَسَخَّرَAnd He subjected لَكُمُfor you الشَّمْسَthe sun وَالْقَمَرَand the moon دَآىِٕبَیْنِ ۚboth constantly pursuing their courses وَسَخَّرَand subjected لَكُمُfor you الَّیْلَthe night وَالنَّهَارَand the day ۟ۚ(33) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 259 - Juz 13 وَاٰتٰىكُمْAnd He gave you مِّنْof كُلِّall مَاwhat سَاَلْتُمُوْهُ ؕyou asked of Him وَاِنْAnd if تَعُدُّوْاyou count نِعْمَتَ(the) Favor of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Favor of Allah لَاnot تُحْصُوْهَا ؕyou will (be able to) count them اِنَّIndeed الْاِنْسَانَthe mankind لَظَلُوْمٌ(is) surely unjust كَفَّارٌ(and) ungrateful ۟۠(34) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid اِبْرٰهِیْمُIbrahim رَبِّMy Lord اجْعَلْMake هٰذَاthis الْبَلَدَcity اٰمِنًاsafe وَّاجْنُبْنِیْand keep me away وَبَنِیَّand my sons اَنْthat نَّعْبُدَwe worship الْاَصْنَامَthe idols ۟ؕ(35) رَبِّMy Lord اِنَّهُنَّIndeed, they اَضْلَلْنَhave led astray كَثِیْرًاmany مِّنَamong النَّاسِ ۚthe mankind فَمَنْSo whoever تَبِعَنِیْfollows me فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, he مِنِّیْ ۚ(is) of me وَمَنْand whoever عَصَانِیْdisobeys me فَاِنَّكَthen indeed, You غَفُوْرٌ(are) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(36) رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَسْكَنْتُ[I] have settled مِنْ(some) of ذُرِّیَّتِیْmy offsprings بِوَادٍin a valley غَیْرِnot ذِیْwith زَرْعٍcultivation عِنْدَnear بَیْتِكَYour Sacred House الْمُحَرَّمِ ۙYour Sacred House رَبَّنَاour Lord لِیُقِیْمُواThat they may establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayers فَاجْعَلْSo make اَفْىِٕدَةًhearts مِّنَof النَّاسِthe men تَهْوِیْۤincline اِلَیْهِمْtowards them وَارْزُقْهُمْand provide them مِّنَwith الثَّمَرٰتِthe fruits لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَشْكُرُوْنَbe grateful ۟(37) رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اِنَّكَIndeed, You تَعْلَمُYou know مَاwhat نُخْفِیْwe conceal وَمَاand what نُعْلِنُ ؕwe proclaim وَمَاAnd not یَخْفٰی(is) hidden عَلَیfrom اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany شَیْءٍthing فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَلَاand not فِیin السَّمَآءِthe heaven ۟(38) اَلْحَمْدُAll the Praise لِلّٰهِ(is) for Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who وَهَبَhas granted لِیْme عَلَیin الْكِبَرِthe old age اِسْمٰعِیْلَIshmael وَاِسْحٰقَ ؕand Isaac اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord لَسَمِیْعُ(is) All-Hearer الدُّعَآءِ(of) the prayer ۟(39) رَبِّMy Lord اجْعَلْنِیْMake me مُقِیْمَan establisher الصَّلٰوةِ(of) the prayer وَمِنْand from ذُرِّیَّتِیْ ۖۗmy offsprings رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَتَقَبَّلْand accept دُعَآءِmy prayer ۟(40) رَبَّنَاOur Lord اغْفِرْForgive لِیْme وَلِوَالِدَیَّand my parents وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَand the believers یَوْمَ(on) the Day یَقُوْمُwill (be) established الْحِسَابُthe account ۟۠(41) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّthink اللّٰهَ(that) Allah غَافِلًا(is) unaware عَمَّاof what یَعْمَلُdo الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ؕ۬the wrongdoers اِنَّمَاOnly یُؤَخِّرُهُمْHe gives them respite لِیَوْمٍto a Day تَشْخَصُwill stare فِیْهِin it الْاَبْصَارُthe eyes ۟ۙ(42) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 260 - Juz 13 مُهْطِعِیْنَRacing ahead مُقْنِعِیْraised up رُءُوْسِهِمْtheir heads لَاnot یَرْتَدُّreturning اِلَیْهِمْtowards them طَرْفُهُمْ ۚtheir gaze وَاَفْـِٕدَتُهُمْand their hearts هَوَآءٌ(are) empty ۟ؕ(43) وَاَنْذِرِAnd warn النَّاسَthe mankind یَوْمَ(of) a Day یَاْتِیْهِمُ(when) will come to them الْعَذَابُthe punishment فَیَقُوْلُthen will say الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاdid wrong رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَخِّرْنَاۤRespite us اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term قَرِیْبٍ ۙshort نُّجِبْwe will answer دَعْوَتَكَYour call وَنَتَّبِعِand we will follow الرُّسُلَ ؕthe Messengers اَوَلَمْHad not تَكُوْنُوْۤاyou اَقْسَمْتُمْsworn مِّنْbefore قَبْلُbefore مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany زَوَالٍend ۟ۙ(44) وَّسَكَنْتُمْAnd you dwelt فِیْin مَسٰكِنِthe dwellings الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who ظَلَمُوْۤاwronged اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves وَتَبَیَّنَand it had become clear لَكُمْto you كَیْفَhow فَعَلْنَاWe dealt بِهِمْwith them وَضَرَبْنَاand We put forth لَكُمُfor you الْاَمْثَالَthe examples ۟(45) وَقَدْAnd indeed مَكَرُوْاthey planned مَكْرَهُمْtheir plan وَعِنْدَbut with اللّٰهِAllah مَكْرُهُمْ ؕ(was) their plan وَاِنْeven if كَانَwas مَكْرُهُمْtheir plan لِتَزُوْلَthat should be moved مِنْهُby it الْجِبَالُthe mountains ۟(46) فَلَاSo (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّthink اللّٰهَ(that) Allah مُخْلِفَwill fail وَعْدِهٖ(to) keep His Promise رُسُلَهٗ ؕ(to) His Messengers اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty ذُوOwner (of) Retribution انْتِقَامٍOwner (of) Retribution ۟ؕ(47) یَوْمَ(On the) Day تُبَدَّلُwill be changed الْاَرْضُthe earth غَیْرَ(to) other (than) الْاَرْضِthe earth وَالسَّمٰوٰتُand the heavens وَبَرَزُوْاand they will come forth لِلّٰهِbefore Allah الْوَاحِدِthe One الْقَهَّارِthe Irresistible ۟(48) وَتَرَیAnd you will see الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals یَوْمَىِٕذٍ(on) that Day مُّقَرَّنِیْنَbound together فِیin الْاَصْفَادِthe chains ۟ۚ(49) سَرَابِیْلُهُمْTheir garments مِّنْof قَطِرَانٍtar وَّتَغْشٰیand will cover وُجُوْهَهُمُtheir faces النَّارُthe Fire ۟ۙ(50) لِیَجْزِیَSo that Allah may recompense اللّٰهُSo that Allah may recompense كُلَّeach نَفْسٍsoul مَّا(for) what كَسَبَتْ ؕit earned اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَرِیْعُ(is) Swift الْحِسَابِ(in) the reckoning ۟(51) هٰذَاThis بَلٰغٌ(is) a Message لِّلنَّاسِfor the mankind وَلِیُنْذَرُوْاthat they may be warned بِهٖwith it وَلِیَعْلَمُوْۤاand that they may know اَنَّمَاthat only هُوَHe اِلٰهٌ(is) One God وَّاحِدٌ(is) One God وَّلِیَذَّكَّرَand that may take heed اُولُواmen الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding ۟۠(52) Surah 14. Ibrahim - Page 261 - Juz 13 Surah 15. Al-Hijr (The Rocky Tract) V99 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓرٰ ۫Alif Laam Ra تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are) the Verses الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book وَقُرْاٰنٍand Quran مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(1) رُبَمَاPerhaps یَوَدُّwill wish الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لَوْif كَانُوْاthey had been مُسْلِمِیْنَMuslims ۟(2) ذَرْهُمْLeave them یَاْكُلُوْا(to) eat وَیَتَمَتَّعُوْاand enjoy وَیُلْهِهِمُand diverted them الْاَمَلُthe hope فَسَوْفَthen soon یَعْلَمُوْنَthey will come to know ۟(3) وَمَاۤAnd not اَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed مِنْany قَرْیَةٍtown اِلَّاbut وَلَهَا(there was) for it كِتَابٌa decree مَّعْلُوْمٌknown ۟(4) مَاNot تَسْبِقُ(can) advance مِنْany اُمَّةٍnation اَجَلَهَاits term وَمَاand not یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَ(can) delay it ۟(5) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْ(to) whom نُزِّلَhas been sent down عَلَیْهِ[on him] الذِّكْرُthe Reminder اِنَّكَindeed, you لَمَجْنُوْنٌ(are) surely mad ۟ؕ(6) لَوْWhy مَاnot تَاْتِیْنَاyou bring to us بِالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِthe Angels اِنْif كُنْتَyou are مِنَof الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(7) مَاNot نُنَزِّلُWe send down الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةَthe Angels اِلَّاexcept بِالْحَقِّwith the truth وَمَاand not كَانُوْۤاthey would be اِذًاthen مُّنْظَرِیْنَgiven respite ۟(8) اِنَّاIndeed, We نَحْنُWe نَزَّلْنَاhave sent down الذِّكْرَthe Reminder وَاِنَّاand indeed, We لَهٗof it لَحٰفِظُوْنَ(are) surely Guardians ۟(9) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe (had) sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you فِیْin شِیَعِthe sects الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(10) وَمَاAnd not یَاْتِیْهِمْcame to them مِّنْany رَّسُوْلٍMessenger اِلَّاbut كَانُوْاthey did بِهٖat him یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock ۟(11) كَذٰلِكَThus نَسْلُكُهٗWe let it enter فِیْin قُلُوْبِ(the) hearts الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ(of) the criminals ۟ۙ(12) لَاNot یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe بِهٖin it وَقَدْand verily خَلَتْhave passed سُنَّةُthe way(s) الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(13) وَلَوْAnd (even) if فَتَحْنَاWe opened عَلَیْهِمْto them بَابًاa gate مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe heaven فَظَلُّوْاand they were to continue فِیْهِtherein یَعْرُجُوْنَ(to) ascend ۟ۙ(14) لَقَالُوْۤاThey would surely say اِنَّمَاOnly سُكِّرَتْhave been dazzled اَبْصَارُنَاour eyes بَلْNay نَحْنُwe قَوْمٌ(are) a people مَّسْحُوْرُوْنَbewitched ۟۠(15) Surah 15. Al-Hijr - Page 262 - Juz 14 وَلَقَدْAnd verily جَعَلْنَاWe have placed فِیin السَّمَآءِthe heavens بُرُوْجًاconstellations وَّزَیَّنّٰهَاand We have beautified it لِلنّٰظِرِیْنَfor the observers ۟ۙ(16) وَحَفِظْنٰهَاAnd We have protected it مِنْfrom كُلِّevery شَیْطٰنٍdevil رَّجِیْمٍaccursed ۟ۙ(17) اِلَّاExcept مَنِ(one) who اسْتَرَقَsteals السَّمْعَthe hearing فَاَتْبَعَهٗthen follows him شِهَابٌa burning flame مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(18) وَالْاَرْضَAnd the earth مَدَدْنٰهَاWe have spread it وَاَلْقَیْنَاand [We] cast فِیْهَاtherein رَوَاسِیَfirm mountains وَاَنْۢبَتْنَاand [We] caused to grow فِیْهَاtherein مِنْof كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing مَّوْزُوْنٍwell-balanced ۟(19) وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have made لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاtherein مَعَایِشَmeans of living وَمَنْand whom لَّسْتُمْyou are not لَهٗfor him بِرٰزِقِیْنَproviders ۟(20) وَاِنْAnd not مِّنْ(is) any شَیْءٍthing اِلَّاbut عِنْدَنَاwith Us خَزَآىِٕنُهٗ ؗ(are) its treasures وَمَاand not نُنَزِّلُهٗۤWe send it down اِلَّاexcept بِقَدَرٍin a measure مَّعْلُوْمٍknown ۟(21) وَاَرْسَلْنَاAnd We have sent الرِّیٰحَthe winds لَوَاقِحَfertilizing فَاَنْزَلْنَاand We sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَاَسْقَیْنٰكُمُوْهُ ۚand We gave it to you to drink وَمَاۤAnd not اَنْتُمْyou لَهٗof it بِخٰزِنِیْنَ(are) retainers ۟(22) وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, We لَنَحْنُsurely [We] نُحْیٖWe give life وَنُمِیْتُand We cause death وَنَحْنُand We الْوٰرِثُوْنَ(are) the Inheritors ۟(23) وَلَقَدْAnd verily عَلِمْنَاWe know الْمُسْتَقْدِمِیْنَthe preceding ones مِنْكُمْamong you وَلَقَدْand verily عَلِمْنَاWe know الْمُسْتَاْخِرِیْنَthe later ones ۟(24) وَاِنَّAnd indeed رَبَّكَyour Lord هُوَHe یَحْشُرُهُمْ ؕwill gather them اِنَّهٗIndeed, He حَكِیْمٌ(is) All-Wise عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟۠(25) وَلَقَدْAnd verily خَلَقْنَاWe created الْاِنْسَانَhumankind مِنْ(out) of صَلْصَالٍsounding clay مِّنْfrom حَمَاٍblack mud مَّسْنُوْنٍaltered ۟ۚ(26) وَالْجَآنَّAnd the jinn خَلَقْنٰهُWe created it مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore مِنْfrom نَّارِfire السَّمُوْمِscorching ۟(27) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَyour Lord said رَبُّكَyour Lord said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اِنِّیْIndeed, I خَالِقٌۢ(will) create بَشَرًاa human being مِّنْ(out) of صَلْصَالٍclay مِّنْfrom حَمَاٍblack mud مَّسْنُوْنٍaltered ۟(28) فَاِذَاSo, when سَوَّیْتُهٗI have fashioned him وَنَفَخْتُand [I] breathed فِیْهِinto him مِنْof رُّوْحِیْMy spirit فَقَعُوْاthen fall down لَهٗto him سٰجِدِیْنَprostrating ۟(29) فَسَجَدَSo prostrated الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels كُلُّهُمْall of them اَجْمَعُوْنَtogether ۟ۙ(30) اِلَّاۤExcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis اَبٰۤیHe refused اَنْto یَّكُوْنَbe مَعَwith السّٰجِدِیْنَthose who prostrated ۟(31) Surah 15. Al-Hijr - Page 263 - Juz 14 قَالَHe said یٰۤاِبْلِیْسُO Iblis مَاWhat لَكَ(is) for you اَلَّاthat not تَكُوْنَyou are مَعَwith السّٰجِدِیْنَthose who prostrated ۟(32) قَالَHe said لَمْI am not اَكُنْI am not لِّاَسْجُدَ(one) to prostrate لِبَشَرٍto a human خَلَقْتَهٗwhom You created مِنْ(out) of صَلْصَالٍclay مِّنْfrom حَمَاٍblack mud مَّسْنُوْنٍaltered ۟(33) قَالَHe said فَاخْرُجْThen get out مِنْهَاof it فَاِنَّكَfor indeed, you رَجِیْمٌ(are) expelled ۟ۙ(34) وَّاِنَّAnd indeed عَلَیْكَupon you اللَّعْنَةَ(will be) the curse اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day الدِّیْنِ(of) [the] Judgment ۟(35) قَالَHe said رَبِّO my Lord فَاَنْظِرْنِیْۤThen give me respite اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day یُبْعَثُوْنَthey are raised ۟(36) قَالَHe said فَاِنَّكَThen indeed you مِنَ(are) of الْمُنْظَرِیْنَthe ones given respite ۟ۙ(37) اِلٰیTill یَوْمِthe Day الْوَقْتِ(of) the time الْمَعْلُوْمِwell-known ۟(38) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord بِمَاۤBecause اَغْوَیْتَنِیْYou misled me لَاُزَیِّنَنَّsurely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming لَهُمْto them فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَلَاُغْوِیَنَّهُمْand I will mislead them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(39) اِلَّاExcept عِبَادَكَYour slaves مِنْهُمُamong them الْمُخْلَصِیْنَthe ones who are sincere ۟(40) قَالَHe said هٰذَاThis صِرَاطٌ(is) the way عَلَیَّto Me مُسْتَقِیْمٌstraight ۟(41) اِنَّIndeed عِبَادِیْMy slaves لَیْسَnot لَكَyou have عَلَیْهِمْover them سُلْطٰنٌany authority اِلَّاexcept مَنِthose who اتَّبَعَكَfollow you مِنَof الْغٰوِیْنَthe ones who go astray ۟(42) وَاِنَّAnd indeed جَهَنَّمَHell لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ(is) surely the promised place for them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟۫ۙ(43) لَهَاFor it سَبْعَةُ(are) seven اَبْوَابٍ ؕgates لِكُلِّfor each بَابٍgate مِّنْهُمْamong them جُزْءٌ(is) a portion مَّقْسُوْمٌassigned ۟۠(44) اِنَّIndeed الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous فِیْ(will be) in جَنّٰتٍGardens وَّعُیُوْنٍand water springs ۟ؕ(45) اُدْخُلُوْهَاEnter it بِسَلٰمٍin peace اٰمِنِیْنَsecure ۟(46) وَنَزَعْنَاAnd We (will) remove مَاwhat فِیْ(is) in صُدُوْرِهِمْtheir breasts مِّنْof غِلٍّrancor اِخْوَانًا(they will be) brothers عَلٰیon سُرُرٍthrones مُّتَقٰبِلِیْنَfacing each other ۟(47) لَاNot یَمَسُّهُمْwill touch them فِیْهَاtherein نَصَبٌfatigue وَّمَاand not هُمْthey مِّنْهَاfrom it بِمُخْرَجِیْنَwill be removed ۟(48) نَبِّئْInform عِبَادِیْۤMy slaves اَنِّیْۤthat I اَنَاI am الْغَفُوْرُthe Oft-Forgiving الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟ۙ(49) وَاَنَّAnd that عَذَابِیْMy punishment هُوَit الْعَذَابُ(is) the punishment الْاَلِیْمُthe most painful ۟(50) وَنَبِّئْهُمْAnd inform them عَنْabout ضَیْفِ(the) guests اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(of) Ibrahim ۟ۘ(51) Surah 15. Al-Hijr - Page 264 - Juz 14 اِذْWhen دَخَلُوْاthey entered عَلَیْهِupon him فَقَالُوْاand said سَلٰمًا ؕPeace قَالَHe said اِنَّاIndeed, we مِنْكُمْ(are) of you وَجِلُوْنَafraid ۟(52) قَالُوْاThey said لَا(Do) not تَوْجَلْbe afraid اِنَّاindeed, we نُبَشِّرُكَ[we] bring glad tidings to you بِغُلٰمٍof a boy عَلِیْمٍlearned ۟(53) قَالَHe said اَبَشَّرْتُمُوْنِیْDo you give me glad tidings عَلٰۤیDo you give me glad tidings اَنْalthough مَّسَّنِیَhas overtaken me الْكِبَرُold age فَبِمَThen about what تُبَشِّرُوْنَyou give glad tidings ۟(54) قَالُوْاThey said بَشَّرْنٰكَWe give you glad tidings بِالْحَقِّin truth فَلَاso (do) not تَكُنْbe مِّنَof الْقٰنِطِیْنَthe despairing ۟(55) قَالَHe said وَمَنْAnd who یَّقْنَطُdespairs مِنْof رَّحْمَةِ(the) Mercy رَبِّهٖۤ(of) his Lord اِلَّاexcept الضَّآلُّوْنَthose who are astray ۟(56) قَالَHe said فَمَاThen what خَطْبُكُمْ(is) your business اَیُّهَاO messengers الْمُرْسَلُوْنَO messengers ۟(57) قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنَّاۤIndeed, we اُرْسِلْنَاۤ[we] have been sent اِلٰیto قَوْمٍa people مُّجْرِمِیْنَcriminals ۟ۙ(58) اِلَّاۤExcept اٰلَthe family لُوْطٍ ؕof Lut اِنَّاindeed, we لَمُنَجُّوْهُمْsurely will save them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(59) اِلَّاExcept امْرَاَتَهٗhis wife قَدَّرْنَاۤ ۙWe have decreed اِنَّهَاthat she لَمِنَ(is) surely of الْغٰبِرِیْنَthose who remain behind ۟۠(60) فَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَcame اٰلَ(to the) family لُوْطِ(of) Lut لْمُرْسَلُوْنَthe messengers ۟ۙ(61) قَالَHe said اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you قَوْمٌ(are) a people مُّنْكَرُوْنَunknown ۟(62) قَالُوْاThey said بَلْNay جِئْنٰكَwe have come to you بِمَاwith what كَانُوْاthey were فِیْهِin it یَمْتَرُوْنَdisputing ۟(63) وَاَتَیْنٰكَAnd we have come to you بِالْحَقِّwith the truth وَاِنَّاand indeed, we لَصٰدِقُوْنَsurely (are) truthful ۟(64) فَاَسْرِSo travel بِاَهْلِكَwith your family بِقِطْعٍin a portion مِّنَof الَّیْلِthe night وَاتَّبِعْand follow اَدْبَارَهُمْtheir backs وَلَاand not یَلْتَفِتْlet look back مِنْكُمْamong you اَحَدٌanyone وَّامْضُوْاand go on حَیْثُwhere تُؤْمَرُوْنَyou are ordered ۟(65) وَقَضَیْنَاۤAnd We conveyed اِلَیْهِto him ذٰلِكَ[that] الْاَمْرَthe matter اَنَّthat دَابِرَ(the) root هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(of) these مَقْطُوْعٌwould be cut off مُّصْبِحِیْنَ(by) early morning ۟(66) وَجَآءَAnd came اَهْلُ(the) people الْمَدِیْنَةِ(of) the city یَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَrejoicing ۟(67) قَالَHe said اِنَّIndeed هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese ضَیْفِیْ(are) my guests فَلَاso (do) not تَفْضَحُوْنِshame me ۟ۙ(68) وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَلَاand (do) not تُخْزُوْنِdisgrace me ۟(69) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَوَلَمْDid not نَنْهَكَwe forbid you عَنِfrom الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe world ۟(70) Surah 15. Al-Hijr - Page 265 - Juz 14 قَالَHe said هٰۤؤُلَآءِThese بَنٰتِیْۤ(are) my daughters اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou would be فٰعِلِیْنَdoers ۟ؕ(71) لَعَمْرُكَBy your life اِنَّهُمْindeed, they لَفِیْwere in سَكْرَتِهِمْtheir intoxication یَعْمَهُوْنَwandering blindly ۟(72) فَاَخَذَتْهُمُSo, seized them الصَّیْحَةُthe awful cry مُشْرِقِیْنَat sunrise ۟ۙ(73) فَجَعَلْنَاAnd We made عَالِیَهَاits highest (part) سَافِلَهَاits lowest وَاَمْطَرْنَاand We rained عَلَیْهِمْupon them حِجَارَةًstones مِّنْof سِجِّیْلٍbaked clay ۟ؕ(74) اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍ(are) the Signs لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِیْنَfor those who discern ۟(75) وَاِنَّهَاAnd indeed, it لَبِسَبِیْلٍ(is) on a road مُّقِیْمٍestablished ۟(76) اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةًsurely (is) a Sign لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟ؕ(77) وَاِنْAnd were كَانَAnd were اَصْحٰبُ(the) companions الْاَیْكَةِ(of) the wood لَظٰلِمِیْنَsurely wrongdoers ۟ۙ(78) فَانْتَقَمْنَاSo We took retribution مِنْهُمْ ۘfrom them وَاِنَّهُمَاand indeed, they both لَبِاِمَامٍ(were) on a highway مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟ؕ۠(79) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly كَذَّبَdenied اَصْحٰبُ(the) companions الْحِجْرِ(of) the Rocky Tract الْمُرْسَلِیْنَthe Messengers ۟ۙ(80) وَاٰتَیْنٰهُمْAnd We gave them اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs فَكَانُوْاbut they were عَنْهَاfrom them مُعْرِضِیْنَturning away ۟ۙ(81) وَكَانُوْاAnd they used (to) یَنْحِتُوْنَcarve مِنَfrom الْجِبَالِthe mountains بُیُوْتًاhouses اٰمِنِیْنَsecure ۟(82) فَاَخَذَتْهُمُBut seized them الصَّیْحَةُthe awful cry مُصْبِحِیْنَ(at) early morning ۟ۙ(83) فَمَاۤAnd not اَغْنٰیavailed عَنْهُمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟ؕ(84) وَمَاAnd not خَلَقْنَاWe created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَاۤ(is) between them اِلَّاexcept بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth وَاِنَّAnd indeed السَّاعَةَthe Hour لَاٰتِیَةٌ(is) surely coming فَاصْفَحِSo overlook الصَّفْحَ(with) forgiveness الْجَمِیْلَgracious ۟(85) اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord هُوَHe الْخَلّٰقُ(is) the Creator الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟(86) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنٰكَWe have given you سَبْعًاseven مِّنَof الْمَثَانِیْthe oft-repeated وَالْقُرْاٰنَand the Quran الْعَظِیْمَGreat ۟(87) لَا(Do) not تَمُدَّنَّextend عَیْنَیْكَyour eyes اِلٰیtowards مَاwhat مَتَّعْنَاWe have bestowed بِهٖۤwith it اَزْوَاجًا(to) categories مِّنْهُمْof them وَلَاand (do) not تَحْزَنْgrieve عَلَیْهِمْover them وَاخْفِضْAnd lower جَنَاحَكَyour wing لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَto the believers ۟(88) وَقُلْAnd say اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَنَا[I] am النَّذِیْرُa warner الْمُبِیْنُclear ۟ۚ(89) كَمَاۤAs اَنْزَلْنَاWe sent down عَلَیon الْمُقْتَسِمِیْنَthose who divided ۟ۙ(90) Surah 15. Al-Hijr - Page 266 - Juz 14 الَّذِیْنَThose who جَعَلُواhave made الْقُرْاٰنَthe Quran عِضِیْنَ(in) parts ۟(91) فَوَرَبِّكَSo by your Lord لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْsurely We will question them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(92) عَمَّاAbout what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(93) فَاصْدَعْSo proclaim بِمَاof what تُؤْمَرُyou are ordered وَاَعْرِضْand turn away عَنِfrom الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟(94) اِنَّاIndeed, We كَفَیْنٰكَ[We] are sufficient for you الْمُسْتَهْزِءِیْنَ(against) the mockers ۟ۙ(95) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَجْعَلُوْنَset up مَعَwith اللّٰهِAllah اِلٰهًاgod اٰخَرَ ۚanother فَسَوْفَBut soon یَعْلَمُوْنَthey will come to know ۟(96) وَلَقَدْAnd verily نَعْلَمُWe know اَنَّكَthat [you] یَضِیْقُ(is) straitened صَدْرُكَyour breast بِمَاby what یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say ۟ۙ(97) فَسَبِّحْSo glorify بِحَمْدِwith the praise رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord وَكُنْand be مِّنَof السّٰجِدِیْنَthose who prostrate ۟ۙ(98) وَاعْبُدْAnd worship رَبَّكَyour Lord حَتّٰیuntil یَاْتِیَكَcomes to you الْیَقِیْنُthe certainty ۟۠(99) Surah 16. An-Nahl (The Bee) V128 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ اَتٰۤیWill come اَمْرُ(the) command of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) command of Allah فَلَاso (do) not تَسْتَعْجِلُوْهُ ؕ(be) impatient for it سُبْحٰنَهٗGlorified is He وَتَعٰلٰیand Exalted (is) He عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate ۟(1) یُنَزِّلُHe sends down الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةَthe Angels بِالرُّوْحِwith the inspiration مِنْof اَمْرِهٖHis Command عَلٰیupon مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهٖۤHis slaves اَنْthat اَنْذِرُوْۤاWarn اَنَّهٗthat [He] لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاۤexcept اَنَاMe فَاتَّقُوْنِso fear Me ۟(2) خَلَقَHe created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth تَعٰلٰیExalted is He عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate ۟(3) خَلَقَHe created الْاِنْسَانَthe human kind مِنْfrom نُّطْفَةٍa minute quantity of semen فَاِذَاthen behold هُوَhe خَصِیْمٌ(is) an opponent مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(4) وَالْاَنْعَامَAnd the cattle خَلَقَهَا ۚHe created them لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاin them دِفْءٌ(is) warmth وَّمَنَافِعُand benefits وَمِنْهَاand from them تَاْكُلُوْنَyou eat ۪۟(5) وَلَكُمْAnd for you فِیْهَاin them جَمَالٌ(is) beauty حِیْنَwhen تُرِیْحُوْنَyou bring them in وَحِیْنَand when تَسْرَحُوْنَyou take them out ۪۟(6) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 267 - Juz 14 وَتَحْمِلُAnd they carry اَثْقَالَكُمْyour loads اِلٰیto بَلَدٍa land لَّمْnot تَكُوْنُوْاyou could بٰلِغِیْهِreach it اِلَّاexcept بِشِقِّwith great trouble الْاَنْفُسِ ؕ(to) yourselves اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكُمْyour Lord لَرَءُوْفٌsurely is Most Kind رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟ۙ(7) وَّالْخَیْلَAnd horses وَالْبِغَالَand mules وَالْحَمِیْرَand donkeys لِتَرْكُبُوْهَاfor you to ride them وَزِیْنَةً ؕand (as) adornment وَیَخْلُقُAnd He creates مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(8) وَعَلَیAnd upon اللّٰهِAllah قَصْدُ(is) the direction السَّبِیْلِ(of) the way وَمِنْهَاand among them جَآىِٕرٌ ؕ(are) crooked وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَHe willed لَهَدٰىكُمْsurely He would have guided you اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟۠(9) هُوَHe الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَنْزَلَsends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater لَّكُمْfor you مِّنْهُof it شَرَابٌ(is) drink وَّمِنْهُand from it شَجَرٌ(grows) vegetation فِیْهِin which تُسِیْمُوْنَyou pasture your cattle ۟(10) یُنْۢبِتُHe causes to grow لَكُمْfor you بِهِwith it الزَّرْعَthe crops وَالزَّیْتُوْنَand the olives وَالنَّخِیْلَand the date-palms وَالْاَعْنَابَand the grapes وَمِنْand of كُلِّevery kind الثَّمَرٰتِ ؕ(of) fruits اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةًsurely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho reflect ۟(11) وَسَخَّرَAnd He has subjected لَكُمُfor you الَّیْلَthe night وَالنَّهَارَ ۙand the day وَالشَّمْسَand the sun وَالْقَمَرَ ؕand the moon وَالنُّجُوْمُand the stars مُسَخَّرٰتٌ(are) subjected بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕby His command اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْقِلُوْنَwho use reason ۟ۙ(12) وَمَاAnd whatever ذَرَاَHe multiplied لَكُمْfor you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مُخْتَلِفًا(of) varying اَلْوَانُهٗ ؕcolors اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةًsurely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّذَّكَّرُوْنَwho remember ۟(13) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who سَخَّرَsubjected الْبَحْرَthe sea لِتَاْكُلُوْاfor you to eat مِنْهُfrom it لَحْمًاmeat طَرِیًّاfresh وَّتَسْتَخْرِجُوْاand that you bring forth مِنْهُfrom it حِلْیَةًornaments تَلْبَسُوْنَهَا ۚ(that) you wear them وَتَرَیAnd you see الْفُلْكَthe ships مَوَاخِرَploughing فِیْهِthrough it وَلِتَبْتَغُوْاand that you may seek مِنْof فَضْلِهٖHis Bounty وَلَعَلَّكُمْand that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَ(be) grateful ۟(14) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 268 - Juz 14 وَاَلْقٰیAnd He has cast فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth رَوَاسِیَfirm mountains اَنْlest تَمِیْدَit should shake بِكُمْwith you وَاَنْهٰرًاand rivers وَّسُبُلًاand roads لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَهْتَدُوْنَbe guided ۟ۙ(15) وَعَلٰمٰتٍ ؕAnd landmarks وَبِالنَّجْمِAnd by the stars هُمْthey یَهْتَدُوْنَguide themselves ۟(16) اَفَمَنْThen is He Who یَّخْلُقُcreates كَمَنْlike one who لَّا(does) not یَخْلُقُ ؕcreate اَفَلَاThen will you not تَذَكَّرُوْنَremember ۟(17) وَاِنْAnd if تَعُدُّوْاyou should count نِعْمَةَthe Favors of Allah اللّٰهِthe Favors of Allah لَاnot تُحْصُوْهَا ؕyou could enumerate them اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَغَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(18) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat تُسِرُّوْنَyou conceal وَمَاand what تُعْلِنُوْنَyou reveal ۟(19) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those whom یَدْعُوْنَthey invoke مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah لَاnot یَخْلُقُوْنَthey create شَیْـًٔاanything وَّهُمْbut (are) themselves یُخْلَقُوْنَcreated ۟ؕ(20) اَمْوَاتٌ(They are) dead غَیْرُnot alive اَحْیَآءٍ ۚnot alive وَمَاAnd not یَشْعُرُوْنَ ۙthey perceive اَیَّانَwhen یُبْعَثُوْنَthey will be resurrected ۟۠(21) اِلٰهُكُمْYour god اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌ ۚOne فَالَّذِیْنَBut those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts مُّنْكِرَةٌrefuse وَّهُمْand they مُّسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ(are) arrogant ۟(22) لَاNo doubt جَرَمَNo doubt اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat یُسِرُّوْنَthey conceal وَمَاand what یُعْلِنُوْنَ ؕthey reveal اِنَّهٗIndeed, He لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove الْمُسْتَكْبِرِیْنَthe arrogant ones ۟(23) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُمْto them مَّاذَاۤWhat اَنْزَلَhas your Lord sent down رَبُّكُمْ ۙhas your Lord sent down قَالُوْۤاThey say اَسَاطِیْرُTales الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the ancient ۟ۙ(24) لِیَحْمِلُوْۤاThat they may bear اَوْزَارَهُمْtheir own burdens كَامِلَةً(in) full یَّوْمَon (the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ۙ(of) the Resurrection وَمِنْand of اَوْزَارِthe burdens الَّذِیْنَ(of) those whom یُضِلُّوْنَهُمْthey misled [them] بِغَیْرِwithout عِلْمٍ ؕknowledge اَلَاUnquestionably سَآءَevil مَا(is) what یَزِرُوْنَthey will bear ۟۠(25) قَدْVerily مَكَرَplotted الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them فَاَتَیbut Allah came اللّٰهُbut Allah came بُنْیَانَهُمْ(at) their building مِّنَfrom الْقَوَاعِدِthe foundations فَخَرَّso fell عَلَیْهِمُupon them السَّقْفُthe roof مِنْfrom فَوْقِهِمْabove them وَاَتٰىهُمُand came to them الْعَذَابُthe punishment مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere لَاthey (did) not perceive یَشْعُرُوْنَthey (did) not perceive ۟(26) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 269 - Juz 14 ثُمَّThen یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection یُخْزِیْهِمْHe will disgrace them وَیَقُوْلُand say اَیْنَWhere شُرَكَآءِیَ(are) My partners الَّذِیْنَthose (for) whom كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تُشَآقُّوْنَoppose فِیْهِمْ ؕ[in them] قَالَWill say الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواwere given الْعِلْمَthe knowledge اِنَّIndeed الْخِزْیَthe disgrace الْیَوْمَthis Day وَالسُّوْٓءَand evil عَلَی(are) upon الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟ۙ(27) الَّذِیْنَThose whom تَتَوَفّٰىهُمُtake them in death الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels ظَالِمِیْۤ(while) wronging اَنْفُسِهِمْ ۪themselves فَاَلْقَوُاthen they would offer السَّلَمَthe submission مَاNot كُنَّاwe were نَعْمَلُdoing مِنْany سُوْٓءٍ ؕevil بَلٰۤیNay اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِمَاof what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(28) فَادْخُلُوْۤاSo enter اَبْوَابَ(the) gates جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خٰلِدِیْنَ(to) abide forever فِیْهَا ؕin it فَلَبِئْسَSurely, wretched مَثْوَی(is the) abode الْمُتَكَبِّرِیْنَ(of) the arrogant ۟(29) وَقِیْلَAnd it will be said لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اتَّقَوْاfear Allah مَاذَاۤWhat اَنْزَلَhas your Lord sent down رَبُّكُمْ ؕhas your Lord sent down قَالُوْاThey will say خَیْرًا ؕGood لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who اَحْسَنُوْاdo good فِیْin هٰذِهِthis الدُّنْیَاworld حَسَنَةٌ ؕ(is) a good وَلَدَارُand the home الْاٰخِرَةِof the Hereafter خَیْرٌ ؕ(is) better وَلَنِعْمَAnd surely excellent دَارُ(is) the home الْمُتَّقِیْنَ(of) the righteous ۟ۙ(30) جَنّٰتُGardens عَدْنٍ(of) Eden یَّدْخُلُوْنَهَاwhich they will enter تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath them الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers لَهُمْFor them فِیْهَاtherein مَا(will be) whatever یَشَآءُوْنَ ؕthey wish كَذٰلِكَThus یَجْزِیAllah rewards اللّٰهُAllah rewards الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟ۙ(31) الَّذِیْنَThose whom تَتَوَفّٰىهُمُtake them in death الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels طَیِّبِیْنَ ۙ(when they are) pure یَقُوْلُوْنَsaying سَلٰمٌPeace عَلَیْكُمُ ۙ(be) upon you ادْخُلُواEnter الْجَنَّةَParadise بِمَاfor what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(32) هَلْDo یَنْظُرُوْنَthey wait اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَاْتِیَهُمُ(should) come to them الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels اَوْor یَاْتِیَ(should) come اَمْرُ(the) Command رَبِّكَ ؕ(of) your Lord كَذٰلِكَThus فَعَلَdid الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕ(were) before them وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمَهُمُwronged them اللّٰهُAllah وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْۤاthey were اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves یَظْلِمُوْنَwronging ۟(33) فَاَصَابَهُمْThen struck them سَیِّاٰتُ(the) evil (results) مَا(of) what عَمِلُوْاthey did وَحَاقَand surrounded بِهِمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) بِهٖ[of it] یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock ۟۠(34) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 270 - Juz 14 وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْنَthose who اَشْرَكُوْاassociate partners (with Allah) لَوْIf شَآءَAllah (had) willed اللّٰهُAllah (had) willed مَاnot عَبَدْنَاwe (would) have worshipped مِنْother than Him دُوْنِهٖother than Him مِنْany شَیْءٍthing نَّحْنُwe وَلَاۤand not اٰبَآؤُنَاour forefathers وَلَاand not حَرَّمْنَاwe (would) have forbidden مِنْother than Him دُوْنِهٖother than Him مِنْanything شَیْءٍ ؕanything كَذٰلِكَThus فَعَلَdid الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ(were) before them فَهَلْThen is (there) عَلَیon الرُّسُلِthe messengers اِلَّاexcept الْبَلٰغُthe conveyance الْمُبِیْنُclear ۟(35) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly بَعَثْنَاWe sent فِیْinto كُلِّevery اُمَّةٍnation رَّسُوْلًاa Messenger اَنِthat اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah وَاجْتَنِبُواand avoid الطَّاغُوْتَ ۚthe false deities فَمِنْهُمْThen among them مَّنْ(were some) whom هَدَیAllah guided اللّٰهُAllah guided وَمِنْهُمْand among them مَّنْ(were) some حَقَّتْwas justified عَلَیْهِon them الضَّلٰلَةُ ؕthe straying فَسِیْرُوْاSo travel فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth فَانْظُرُوْاand see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُthe end الْمُكَذِّبِیْنَ(of) the deniers ۟(36) اِنْIf تَحْرِصْyou desire عَلٰی[for] هُدٰىهُمْtheir guidance فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(will) not یَهْدِیْguide مَنْwhom یُّضِلُّHe lets go astray وَمَاand not (are) لَهُمْfor them مِّنْany نّٰصِرِیْنَhelpers ۟(37) وَاَقْسَمُوْاAnd they swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah جَهْدَstrongest اَیْمَانِهِمْ ۙ(of) their oaths لَاAllah will not resurrect یَبْعَثُAllah will not resurrect اللّٰهُAllah will not resurrect مَنْ(one) who یَّمُوْتُ ؕdies بَلٰیNay وَعْدًا(it is) a promise عَلَیْهِupon Him حَقًّا(in) truth وَّلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the mankind لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟ۙ(38) لِیُبَیِّنَThat He will make clear لَهُمُto them الَّذِیْthat یَخْتَلِفُوْنَthey differ فِیْهِwherein وَلِیَعْلَمَand that may know الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieved اَنَّهُمْthat they كَانُوْاwere كٰذِبِیْنَliars ۟(39) اِنَّمَاOnly قَوْلُنَاOur Word لِشَیْءٍto a thing اِذَاۤwhen اَرَدْنٰهُWe intend it اَنْ(is) that نَّقُوْلَWe say لَهٗto it كُنْBe فَیَكُوْنُand it is ۟۠(40) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who هَاجَرُوْاemigrated فِیin (the way) اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] ظُلِمُوْاthey were wronged لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْsurely We will give them position فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world حَسَنَةً ؕgood وَلَاَجْرُbut surely the reward الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter اَكْبَرُ ۘ(is) greater لَوْif كَانُوْاthey یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟ۙ(41) الَّذِیْنَThose who صَبَرُوْا(are) patient وَعَلٰیand on رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord یَتَوَكَّلُوْنَthey put their trust ۟(42) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 271 - Juz 14 وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you اِلَّاexcept رِجَالًاmen نُّوْحِیْۤWe revealed اِلَیْهِمْto them فَسْـَٔلُوْۤاso ask اَهْلَ(the) people الذِّكْرِ(of) the Reminder اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟ۙ(43) بِالْبَیِّنٰتِWith the clear proofs وَالزُّبُرِ ؕand the Books وَاَنْزَلْنَاۤAnd We sent down اِلَیْكَto you الذِّكْرَthe Remembrance لِتُبَیِّنَthat you may make clear لِلنَّاسِto the mankind مَاwhat نُزِّلَhas been sent down اِلَیْهِمْto them وَلَعَلَّهُمْand that they may یَتَفَكَّرُوْنَreflect ۟(44) اَفَاَمِنَDo then feel secure الَّذِیْنَthose who مَكَرُواplotted السَّیِّاٰتِthe evil deeds اَنْthat یَّخْسِفَAllah will cave اللّٰهُAllah will cave بِهِمُwith them الْاَرْضَthe earth اَوْor یَاْتِیَهُمُwill come to them الْعَذَابُthe punishment مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere لَاnot یَشْعُرُوْنَthey perceive ۟ۙ(45) اَوْOr یَاْخُذَهُمْthat He may seize them فِیْin تَقَلُّبِهِمْtheir going to and fro فَمَاthen not هُمْthey بِمُعْجِزِیْنَwill be able to escape ۟ۙ(46) اَوْOr یَاْخُذَهُمْthat He may seize them عَلٰیwith تَخَوُّفٍ ؕa gradual wasting فَاِنَّBut indeed رَبَّكُمْyour Lord لَرَءُوْفٌ(is) surely Full of Kindness رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(47) اَوَلَمْHave not یَرَوْاthey seen اِلٰی[towards] مَاwhat خَلَقَAllah has created اللّٰهُAllah has created مِنْfrom شَیْءٍa thing یَّتَفَیَّؤُاIncline ظِلٰلُهٗtheir shadows عَنِto الْیَمِیْنِthe right وَالشَّمَآىِٕلِand to the left سُجَّدًاprostrating لِّلّٰهِto Allah وَهُمْwhile they دٰخِرُوْنَ(are) humble ۟(48) وَلِلّٰهِAnd to Allah یَسْجُدُprostrate مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth مِنْof دَآبَّةٍmoving creatures وَّالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُand the Angels وَهُمْand they لَا(are) not یَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَarrogant ۟(49) یَخَافُوْنَThey fear رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord مِّنْabove them فَوْقِهِمْabove them وَیَفْعَلُوْنَand they do مَاwhat یُؤْمَرُوْنَthey are commanded ۟(50) وَقَالَAnd Allah has said اللّٰهُAnd Allah has said لَا(Do) not تَتَّخِذُوْۤاtake اِلٰهَیْنِ[two] gods اثْنَیْنِ ۚtwo اِنَّمَاonly هُوَHe اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌ ۚOne فَاِیَّایَso Me Alone فَارْهَبُوْنِyou fear [Me] ۟(51) وَلَهٗAnd to Him (belongs) مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَلَهُand to Him الدِّیْنُ(is due) the worship وَاصِبًا ؕconstantly اَفَغَیْرَThen is it other (than) اللّٰهِAllah تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear ۟(52) وَمَاAnd whatever بِكُمْyou have مِّنْof نِّعْمَةٍfavor فَمِنَ(is) from اللّٰهِAllah ثُمَّThen اِذَاwhen مَسَّكُمُtouches you الضُّرُّthe adversity فَاِلَیْهِthen to Him تَجْـَٔرُوْنَyou cry for help ۟ۚ(53) ثُمَّThen اِذَاwhen كَشَفَHe removes الضُّرَّthe adversity عَنْكُمْfrom you اِذَاbehold فَرِیْقٌA group مِّنْكُمْof you بِرَبِّهِمْwith their Lord یُشْرِكُوْنَassociate others ۟ۙ(54) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 272 - Juz 14 لِیَكْفُرُوْاSo as to deny بِمَاۤthat which اٰتَیْنٰهُمْ ؕWe have given them فَتَمَتَّعُوْا ۫Then enjoy yourselves فَسَوْفَsoon تَعْلَمُوْنَyou will know ۟(55) وَیَجْعَلُوْنَAnd they assign لِمَاto what لَاnot یَعْلَمُوْنَthey know نَصِیْبًاa portion مِّمَّاof what رَزَقْنٰهُمْ ؕWe have provided them تَاللّٰهِBy Allah لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّsurely you will be asked عَمَّاabout what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَفْتَرُوْنَinvent ۟(56) وَیَجْعَلُوْنَAnd they assign لِلّٰهِto Allah الْبَنٰتِdaughters سُبْحٰنَهٗ ۙGlory be to Him وَلَهُمْAnd for them مَّا(is) what یَشْتَهُوْنَthey desire ۟(57) وَاِذَاAnd when بُشِّرَis given good news اَحَدُهُمْ(to) one of them بِالْاُof a female ظَلَّturns وَجْهُهٗhis face مُسْوَدًّاdark وَّهُوَand he كَظِیْمٌsuppresses grief ۟ۚ(58) یَتَوَارٰیHe hides himself مِنَfrom الْقَوْمِthe people مِنْ(because) of سُوْٓءِthe evil مَاof what بُشِّرَhe has been given good news بِهٖ ؕabout اَیُمْسِكُهٗShould he keep it عَلٰیin هُوْنٍhumiliation اَمْor یَدُسُّهٗbury it فِیin التُّرَابِ ؕthe dust اَلَاUnquestionably سَآءَevil مَا(is) what یَحْكُمُوْنَthey decide ۟(59) لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter مَثَلُ(is) a similitude السَّوْءِ ۚ(of) the evil وَلِلّٰهِand for Allah الْمَثَلُ(is) the similitude الْاَعْلٰی ؕthe Highest وَهُوَAnd He الْعَزِیْزُ(is) the All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُAll-Wise ۟۠(60) وَلَوْAnd if یُؤَاخِذُAllah were to seize اللّٰهُAllah were to seize النَّاسَthe mankind بِظُلْمِهِمْfor their wrongdoing مَّاnot تَرَكَHe (would) have left عَلَیْهَاupon it مِنْany دَآبَّةٍmoving creature وَّلٰكِنْbut یُّؤَخِّرُهُمْHe defers them اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّی ۚappointed فَاِذَاThen when جَآءَcomes اَجَلُهُمْtheir terms لَاnot یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَthey (will) remain behind سَاعَةًan hour وَّلَاand not یَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَthey can advance (it) ۟(61) وَیَجْعَلُوْنَAnd they assign لِلّٰهِto Allah مَاwhat یَكْرَهُوْنَthey dislike وَتَصِفُand assert اَلْسِنَتُهُمُtheir tongues الْكَذِبَthe lie اَنَّthat لَهُمُfor them الْحُسْنٰی ؕ(is) the best لَاNo جَرَمَdoubt اَنَّthat لَهُمُfor them النَّارَ(is) the Fire وَاَنَّهُمْand that they مُّفْرَطُوْنَ(will) be abandoned ۟(62) تَاللّٰهِBy Allah لَقَدْcertainly اَرْسَلْنَاۤWe have sent اِلٰۤیto اُمَمٍnations مِّنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you فَزَیَّنَbut made fair-seeming لَهُمُto them الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan اَعْمَالَهُمْtheir deeds فَهُوَSo he وَلِیُّهُمُ(is) their ally الْیَوْمَtoday وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(63) وَمَاۤAnd not اَنْزَلْنَاWe revealed عَلَیْكَto you الْكِتٰبَthe Book اِلَّاexcept لِتُبَیِّنَthat you make clear لَهُمُto them الَّذِیthat which اخْتَلَفُوْاthey differed فِیْهِ ۙin it وَهُدًیand (as) a guidance وَّرَحْمَةًand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟(64) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 273 - Juz 14 وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah اَنْزَلَhas sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَاَحْیَاthen gives life بِهِby it الْاَرْضَ(to) the earth بَعْدَafter مَوْتِهَا ؕits death اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةً(is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّسْمَعُوْنَwho listen ۟۠(65) وَاِنَّAnd indeed لَكُمْfor you فِیin الْاَنْعَامِthe cattle لَعِبْرَةً ؕ(is) a lesson نُسْقِیْكُمْWe give you to drink مِّمَّاfrom what فِیْ(is) in بُطُوْنِهٖtheir bellies مِنْfrom بَیْنِbetween فَرْثٍbowels وَّدَمٍand blood لَّبَنًاmilk خَالِصًاpure سَآىِٕغًاpalatable لِّلشّٰرِبِیْنَto the drinkers ۟(66) وَمِنْAnd from ثَمَرٰتِfruits النَّخِیْلِthe date-palm وَالْاَعْنَابِand the grapes تَتَّخِذُوْنَyou take مِنْهُfrom it سَكَرًاintoxicant وَّرِزْقًاand a provision حَسَنًا ؕgood اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةً(is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْقِلُوْنَwho use reason ۟(67) وَاَوْحٰیAnd inspired رَبُّكَyour Lord اِلَیto النَّحْلِthe bee اَنِ[that] اتَّخِذِیْTake مِنَamong الْجِبَالِthe mountains بُیُوْتًاhouses وَّمِنَand among الشَّجَرِthe trees وَمِمَّاand in what یَعْرِشُوْنَthey construct ۟ۙ(68) ثُمَّThen كُلِیْeat مِنْfrom كُلِّall الثَّمَرٰتِthe fruits فَاسْلُكِیْand follow سُبُلَ(the) ways رَبِّكِ(of) your Lord ذُلُلًا ؕmade smooth یَخْرُجُComes forth مِنْfrom بُطُوْنِهَاtheir bellies شَرَابٌa drink مُّخْتَلِفٌ(of) varying اَلْوَانُهٗcolors فِیْهِin it شِفَآءٌ(is) a healing لِّلنَّاسِ ؕfor the mankind اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةً(is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho reflect ۟(69) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah خَلَقَكُمْcreated you ثُمَّthen یَتَوَفّٰىكُمْ ۙ۫will cause you to die وَمِنْكُمْAnd among you مَّنْ(is one) who یُّرَدُّis sent back اِلٰۤیto اَرْذَلِthe worst الْعُمُرِ(of) the age لِكَیْso that لَاnot یَعْلَمَhe will know بَعْدَafter عِلْمٍknowledge شَیْـًٔا ؕa thing اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knowing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟۠(70) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah فَضَّلَhas favored بَعْضَكُمْsome of you عَلٰیover بَعْضٍothers فِیin الرِّزْقِ ۚ[the] provision فَمَاBut not الَّذِیْنَthose who فُضِّلُوْاwere favored بِرَآدِّیْwould hand over رِزْقِهِمْtheir provision عَلٰیto مَاwhom مَلَكَتْpossess اَیْمَانُهُمْtheir right hands فَهُمْso (that) they فِیْهِ(are) in it سَوَآءٌ ؕequal اَفَبِنِعْمَةِThen is it the Favor اللّٰهِof Allah یَجْحَدُوْنَthey reject ۟(71) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah جَعَلَ(has) made لَكُمْfor you مِّنْfrom اَنْفُسِكُمْyourselves اَزْوَاجًاspouses وَّجَعَلَand has made لَكُمْfor you مِّنْfrom اَزْوَاجِكُمْyour spouses بَنِیْنَsons وَحَفَدَةًand grandsons وَّرَزَقَكُمْand has provided for you مِّنَfrom الطَّیِّبٰتِ ؕthe good things اَفَبِالْبَاطِلِThen in falsehood do یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe وَبِنِعْمَتِand the Favor اللّٰهِof Allah هُمْthey یَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve ۟ۙ(72) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 274 - Juz 14 وَیَعْبُدُوْنَAnd they worship مِنْother than دُوْنِother than اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhich لَاnot یَمْلِكُpossesses لَهُمْfor them رِزْقًاany provision مِّنَfrom السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth شَیْـًٔا[anything] وَّلَاand not یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey are able ۟ۚ(73) فَلَاSo (do) not تَضْرِبُوْاput forth لِلّٰهِfor Allah الْاَمْثَالَ ؕthe similitude اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows وَاَنْتُمْand you لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(74) ضَرَبَAllah sets forth اللّٰهُAllah sets forth مَثَلًاthe example عَبْدًا(of) a slave مَّمْلُوْكًا(who is) owned لَّاnot یَقْدِرُhe has power عَلٰیon شَیْءٍanything وَّمَنْand (one) whom رَّزَقْنٰهُWe provided him مِنَّاfrom Us رِزْقًاa provision حَسَنًاgood فَهُوَso he یُنْفِقُspends مِنْهُfrom it سِرًّاsecretly وَّجَهْرًا ؕand publicly هَلْCan یَسْتَوٗنَ ؕthey be equal اَلْحَمْدُAll praise لِلّٰهِ ؕ(is) for Allah بَلْNay اَكْثَرُهُمْbut most of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(75) وَضَرَبَAnd Allah sets forth اللّٰهُAnd Allah sets forth مَثَلًاan example رَّجُلَیْنِ(of) two men اَحَدُهُمَاۤone of them اَبْكَمُ(is) dumb لَاnot یَقْدِرُhe has power عَلٰیon شَیْءٍanything وَّهُوَwhile he كَلٌّ(is) a burden عَلٰیon مَوْلٰىهُ ۙhis master اَیْنَمَاWherever یُوَجِّهْهُّhe directs him لَاnot یَاْتِhe comes بِخَیْرٍ ؕwith any good هَلْIs یَسْتَوِیْequal هُوَ ۙhe وَمَنْand (the one) who یَّاْمُرُcommands بِالْعَدْلِ ۙ[of] justice وَهُوَand he عَلٰی(is) on صِرَاطٍa path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟۠(76) وَلِلّٰهِAnd to Allah (belongs) غَیْبُ(the) unseen السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَمَاۤAnd not اَمْرُ(is the) matter السَّاعَةِ(of) the Hour اِلَّاbut كَلَمْحِas a twinkling الْبَصَرِ(of) the eye اَوْor هُوَit اَقْرَبُ ؕ(is) nearer اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیon كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌ(is) All-Powerful ۟(77) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah اَخْرَجَكُمْbrought you forth مِّنْfrom بُطُوْنِthe wombs اُمَّهٰتِكُمْ(of) your mothers لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَknowing شَیْـًٔا ۙanything وَّجَعَلَand made لَكُمُfor you السَّمْعَthe hearing وَالْاَبْصَارَand the sight وَالْاَفْـِٕدَةَ ۙand the hearts لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَgive thanks ۟(78) اَلَمْDo not یَرَوْاthey see اِلَیtowards الطَّیْرِthe birds مُسَخَّرٰتٍcontrolled فِیْin جَوِّthe midst السَّمَآءِ ؕ(of) the sky مَاNone یُمْسِكُهُنَّholds them up اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهُ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍ(are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟(79) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 275 - Juz 14 وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah جَعَلَ(has) made لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ[from] بُیُوْتِكُمْyour homes سَكَنًاa resting place وَّجَعَلَand made لَكُمْfor you مِّنْfrom جُلُوْدِthe hides الْاَنْعَامِ(of) the cattle بُیُوْتًاtents تَسْتَخِفُّوْنَهَاwhich you find light یَوْمَ(on) the day ظَعْنِكُمْ(of) your travel وَیَوْمَand the day اِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ(of) your encampment وَمِنْand from اَصْوَافِهَاtheir wool وَاَوْبَارِهَاand their fur وَاَشْعَارِهَاۤand their hair اَثَاثًا(is) furnishing وَّمَتَاعًاand a provision اِلٰیfor حِیْنٍa time ۟(80) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah جَعَلَ(has) made لَكُمْfor you مِّمَّاfrom what خَلَقَHe created ظِلٰلًاshades وَّجَعَلَand (has) made لَكُمْfor you مِّنَfrom الْجِبَالِthe mountains اَكْنَانًاshelters وَّجَعَلَand (has) made لَكُمْfor you سَرَابِیْلَgarments تَقِیْكُمُto protect you الْحَرَّ(from) the heat وَسَرَابِیْلَand garments تَقِیْكُمْto protect you بَاْسَكُمْ ؕfrom your (mutual) violence كَذٰلِكَThus یُتِمُّHe completes نِعْمَتَهٗHis Favor عَلَیْكُمْupon you لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُسْلِمُوْنَsubmit ۟(81) فَاِنْThen, if تَوَلَّوْاthey turn away فَاِنَّمَاthen only عَلَیْكَupon you الْبَلٰغُ(is) the conveyance الْمُبِیْنُthe clear ۟(82) یَعْرِفُوْنَThey recognize نِعْمَتَ(the) Favor اللّٰهِ(of) Allah ثُمَّthen یُنْكِرُوْنَهَاthey deny it وَاَكْثَرُهُمُAnd most of them الْكٰفِرُوْنَ(are) the disbelievers ۟۠(83) وَیَوْمَAnd the Day نَبْعَثُWe will resurrect مِنْfrom كُلِّevery اُمَّةٍnation شَهِیْدًاa witness ثُمَّthen لَاnot یُؤْذَنُwill be permitted لِلَّذِیْنَto those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُسْتَعْتَبُوْنَwill be asked to make amends ۟(84) وَاِذَاAnd when رَاَ(will) see الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُواwronged الْعَذَابَthe punishment فَلَاthen not یُخَفَّفُit will be lightened عَنْهُمْfor them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْظَرُوْنَwill be given respite ۟(85) وَاِذَاAnd when رَاَ(will) see الَّذِیْنَthose who اَشْرَكُوْاassociated partners with Allah شُرَكَآءَهُمْtheir partners قَالُوْاThey will say رَبَّنَاOur Lord هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese شُرَكَآؤُنَا(are) our partners الَّذِیْنَthose whom كُنَّاwe used to نَدْعُوْاinvoke مِنْbesides You دُوْنِكَ ۚbesides You فَاَلْقَوْاBut they (will) throw back اِلَیْهِمُat them الْقَوْلَ(their) word اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you لَكٰذِبُوْنَ(are) surely liars ۟ۚ(86) وَاَلْقَوْاAnd they (will) offer اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah یَوْمَىِٕذِ(on) that Day لسَّلَمَthe submission وَضَلَّand (is) lost عَنْهُمْfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent ۟(87) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 276 - Juz 14 اَلَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved وَصَدُّوْاand hindered عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah زِدْنٰهُمْWe will increase them عَذَابًا(in) punishment فَوْقَover الْعَذَابِpunishment بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey used (to) یُفْسِدُوْنَspread corruption ۟(88) وَیَوْمَAnd the Day نَبْعَثُWe will resurrect فِیْamong كُلِّevery اُمَّةٍnation شَهِیْدًاa witness عَلَیْهِمْover them مِّنْfrom اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves وَجِئْنَاAnd We (will) bring بِكَyou شَهِیْدًا(as) a witness عَلٰیover هٰۤؤُلَآءِ ؕthese وَنَزَّلْنَاAnd We sent down عَلَیْكَto you الْكِتٰبَthe Book تِبْیَانًا(as) a clarification لِّكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing وَّهُدًیand a guidance وَّرَحْمَةًand mercy وَّبُشْرٰیand glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِیْنَfor the Muslims ۟۠(89) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَاْمُرُcommands بِالْعَدْلِjustice وَالْاِحْسَانِand the good وَاِیْتَآئِand giving ذِی(to) relatives الْقُرْبٰی(to) relatives وَیَنْهٰیand forbids عَنِ[from] الْفَحْشَآءِthe immorality وَالْمُنْكَرِand the bad وَالْبَغْیِ ۚand the oppression یَعِظُكُمْHe admonishes you لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَذَكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟(90) وَاَوْفُوْاAnd fulfil بِعَهْدِthe covenant اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِذَاwhen عٰهَدْتُّمْyou have taken a covenant وَلَاand (do) not تَنْقُضُواbreak الْاَیْمَانَoaths بَعْدَafter تَوْكِیْدِهَاtheir confirmation وَقَدْwhile verily جَعَلْتُمُyou have made اللّٰهَAllah عَلَیْكُمْover you كَفِیْلًا ؕa surety اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat تَفْعَلُوْنَyou do ۟(91) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكُوْنُوْاbe كَالَّتِیْlike her who نَقَضَتْuntwists غَزْلَهَاher spun yarn مِنْafter بَعْدِafter قُوَّةٍstrength اَنْكَاثًا ؕ(into) untwisted strands تَتَّخِذُوْنَyou take اَیْمَانَكُمْyour oaths دَخَلًا(as) a deception بَیْنَكُمْbetween you اَنْbecause تَكُوْنَis اُمَّةٌa community هِیَ[it] اَرْبٰیmore numerous مِنْthan اُمَّةٍ ؕ(another) community اِنَّمَاOnly یَبْلُوْكُمُAllah tests you اللّٰهُAllah tests you بِهٖ ؕby it وَلَیُبَیِّنَنَّAnd He will make clear لَكُمْto you یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection مَاwhat كُنْتُمْyou used (to) فِیْهِin it تَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(92) وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَAllah (had) willed اللّٰهُAllah (had) willed لَجَعَلَكُمْsurely He (could) have made you اُمَّةًa nation وَّاحِدَةًone وَّلٰكِنْbut یُّضِلُّHe lets go astray مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَهْدِیْand guides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّAnd surely you will be questioned عَمَّاabout what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(93) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 277 - Juz 14 وَلَاAnd (do) not تَتَّخِذُوْۤاtake اَیْمَانَكُمْyour oaths دَخَلًا(as) a deception بَیْنَكُمْbetween you فَتَزِلَّlest, should slip قَدَمٌa foot بَعْدَafter ثُبُوْتِهَاit is firmly planted وَتَذُوْقُواand you would taste السُّوْٓءَthe evil بِمَاfor what صَدَدْتُّمْyou hindered عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah وَلَكُمْand for you عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(94) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَشْتَرُوْاexchange بِعَهْدِthe covenant اللّٰهِ(of) Allah ثَمَنًا(for) a price قَلِیْلًا ؕlittle اِنَّمَاIndeed, what عِنْدَ(is) with اللّٰهِAllah هُوَit خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou were (to) تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(95) مَاWhatever عِنْدَكُمْ(is) with you یَنْفَدُwill be exhausted وَمَاand whatever عِنْدَ(is) with اللّٰهِAllah بَاقٍ ؕ(will) be remaining وَلَنَجْزِیَنَّAnd surely We will pay الَّذِیْنَthose who صَبَرُوْۤا(are) patient اَجْرَهُمْtheir reward بِاَحْسَنِto (the) best مَا(of) what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(96) مَنْWhoever عَمِلَdoes صَالِحًاrighteous deeds مِّنْwhether ذَكَرٍmale اَوْor اُfemale وَهُوَwhile he مُؤْمِنٌ(is) a believer فَلَنُحْیِیَنَّهٗthen surely We will give him life حَیٰوةًa life طَیِّبَةً ۚgood وَلَنَجْزِیَنَّهُمْand We will pay them اَجْرَهُمْtheir reward بِاَحْسَنِto (the) best مَاof what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(97) فَاِذَاSo when قَرَاْتَyou recite الْقُرْاٰنَthe Quran فَاسْتَعِذْseek refuge بِاللّٰهِin Allah مِنَfrom الشَّیْطٰنِthe Shaitaan الرَّجِیْمِthe accursed ۟(98) اِنَّهٗIndeed he لَیْسَnot لَهٗfor him سُلْطٰنٌ(is) any authority عَلَیon الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَلٰیand upon رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord یَتَوَكَّلُوْنَthey put their trust ۟(99) اِنَّمَاOnly سُلْطٰنُهٗhis authority عَلَی(is) over الَّذِیْنَthose who یَتَوَلَّوْنَهٗtake him as an ally وَالَّذِیْنَand those who هُمْ[they] بِهٖwith Him مُشْرِكُوْنَassociate partners ۟۠(100) وَاِذَاAnd when بَدَّلْنَاۤWe substitute اٰیَةًa Verse مَّكَانَ(in) place اٰیَةٍ ۙ(of) a Verse وَّاللّٰهُand Allah اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَاof what یُنَزِّلُHe sends down قَالُوْۤاthey say اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنْتَyou مُفْتَرٍ ؕ(are) an inventor بَلْNay اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(101) قُلْSay نَزَّلَهٗHas brought it down رُوْحُthe Holy Spirit الْقُدُسِthe Holy Spirit مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord بِالْحَقِّin truth لِیُثَبِّتَto make firm الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَهُدًیand (as) a guidance وَّبُشْرٰیand glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِیْنَto the Muslims ۟(102) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 278 - Juz 14 وَلَقَدْAnd certainly نَعْلَمُWe know اَنَّهُمْthat they یَقُوْلُوْنَsay اِنَّمَاOnly یُعَلِّمُهٗteaches him بَشَرٌ ؕa human being لِسَانُ(The) tongue الَّذِیْ(of) the one یُلْحِدُوْنَthey refer اِلَیْهِto him اَعْجَمِیٌّ(is) foreign وَّهٰذَاwhile this لِسَانٌ(is) a language عَرَبِیٌّArabic مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(103) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin the Verses اللّٰهِ ۙ(of) Allah لَاnot یَهْدِیْهِمُAllah will guide them اللّٰهُAllah will guide them وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(104) اِنَّمَاOnly یَفْتَرِیthey invent الْكَذِبَthe falsehood الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin the Verses اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those هُمُthey الْكٰذِبُوْنَ(are) the liars ۟(105) مَنْWhoever كَفَرَdisbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah مِنْafter بَعْدِafter اِیْمَانِهٖۤhis belief اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(one) who اُكْرِهَis forced وَقَلْبُهٗwhile his heart مُطْمَىِٕنٌّۢ(is) content بِالْاِیْمَانِwith the faith وَلٰكِنْBut مَّنْ(one) who شَرَحَopens بِالْكُفْرِto disbelief صَدْرًا(his) breast فَعَلَیْهِمْthen upon them غَضَبٌ(is) a wrath مِّنَof اللّٰهِ ۚAllah وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(106) ذٰلِكَThat (is) بِاَنَّهُمُbecause اسْتَحَبُّواthey preferred الْحَیٰوةَthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world عَلَیover الْاٰخِرَةِ ۙthe Hereafter وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(107) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones طَبَعَAllah has set a seal اللّٰهُAllah has set a seal عَلٰیover قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts وَسَمْعِهِمْand their hearing وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ۚand their sight وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those هُمُthey are الْغٰفِلُوْنَthe heedless ۟(108) لَاNo جَرَمَdoubt اَنَّهُمْthat they فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter هُمُ[they] الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟(109) ثُمَّThen اِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لِلَّذِیْنَto those who هَاجَرُوْاemigrated مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَاwhat فُتِنُوْاthey had been put to trials ثُمَّthen جٰهَدُوْاstrove hard وَصَبَرُوْۤا ۙand were patient اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord مِنْafter it بَعْدِهَاafter it لَغَفُوْرٌsurely is Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟۠(110) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 279 - Juz 14 یَوْمَ(On) the Day تَاْتِیْ(when) will come كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul تُجَادِلُpleading عَنْfor نَّفْسِهَاitself وَتُوَفّٰیand will be paid in full كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul مَّاwhat عَمِلَتْit did وَهُمْand they لَا(will) not یُظْلَمُوْنَbe wronged ۟(111) وَضَرَبَAnd Allah sets forth اللّٰهُAnd Allah sets forth مَثَلًاa similitude قَرْیَةً(of) a town كَانَتْ(that) was اٰمِنَةًsecure مُّطْمَىِٕنَّةًand content یَّاْتِیْهَاcoming to it رِزْقُهَاits provision رَغَدًا(in) abundance مِّنْfrom كُلِّevery مَكَانٍplace فَكَفَرَتْbut it denied بِاَنْعُمِ(the) Favors of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Favors of Allah فَاَذَاقَهَاso Allah made it taste اللّٰهُso Allah made it taste لِبَاسَ(the) garb الْجُوْعِ(of) the hunger وَالْخَوْفِand the fear بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَصْنَعُوْنَdo ۟(112) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly جَآءَهُمْcame to them رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْهُمْfrom among them فَكَذَّبُوْهُbut they denied him فَاَخَذَهُمُso seized them الْعَذَابُthe punishment وَهُمْwhile they ظٰلِمُوْنَ(were) wrongdoers ۟(113) فَكُلُوْاSo eat مِمَّاof what رَزَقَكُمُAllah has provided you اللّٰهُAllah has provided you حَلٰلًاlawful طَیِّبًا ۪and good وَّاشْكُرُوْاAnd be grateful نِعْمَتَ(for the) Favor اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِنْif كُنْتُمْ[you] اِیَّاهُHim Alone تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship ۟(114) اِنَّمَاOnly حَرَّمَHe has forbidden عَلَیْكُمُto you الْمَیْتَةَthe dead animal وَالدَّمَand the blood وَلَحْمَand the flesh الْخِنْزِیْرِ(of) the swine وَمَاۤand what اُهِلَّhas been dedicated لِغَیْرِto other (than) اللّٰهِAllah بِهٖ ۚ[with it] فَمَنِBut (if) one اضْطُرَّ(is) forced غَیْرَwithout (being) بَاغٍdisobedient وَّلَاand not عَادٍa transgressor فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(115) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقُوْلُوْاsay لِمَاfor that which تَصِفُassert اَلْسِنَتُكُمُyour tongues الْكَذِبَthe lie هٰذَاThis حَلٰلٌ(is) lawful وَّهٰذَاand this حَرَامٌ(is) forbidden لِّتَفْتَرُوْاso that you invent عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah الْكَذِبَ ؕthe lie اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah الْكَذِبَthe lie لَاthey will not succeed یُفْلِحُوْنَthey will not succeed ۟ؕ(116) مَتَاعٌAn enjoyment قَلِیْلٌ ۪little وَّلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(117) وَعَلَیAnd to الَّذِیْنَthose who هَادُوْاare Jews حَرَّمْنَاWe have forbidden مَاwhat قَصَصْنَاWe related عَلَیْكَto you مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ۚbefore وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمْنٰهُمْWe wronged them وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْۤاthey used (to) اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves یَظْلِمُوْنَwrong ۟(118) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 280 - Juz 14 ثُمَّThen اِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لِلَّذِیْنَto those who عَمِلُواdid السُّوْٓءَevil بِجَهَالَةٍin ignorance ثُمَّthen تَابُوْاrepented مِنْafter بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat وَاَصْلَحُوْۤا ۙand corrected themselves اِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour Lord مِنْafter that بَعْدِهَاafter that لَغَفُوْرٌ(is) surely Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟۠(119) اِنَّIndeed اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim كَانَwas اُمَّةًa nation قَانِتًاobedient لِّلّٰهِto Allah حَنِیْفًا ؕupright وَلَمْand not یَكُhe was مِنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟ۙ(120) شَاكِرًاThankful لِّاَنْعُمِهٖ ؕfor His favors اِجْتَبٰىهُHe chose him وَهَدٰىهُand guided him اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍthe way مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟(121) وَاٰتَیْنٰهُAnd We gave him فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world حَسَنَةً ؕgood وَاِنَّهٗand indeed, he فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter لَمِنَ(he) will surely (be) among الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟ؕ(122) ثُمَّThen اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe revealed اِلَیْكَto you اَنِthat اتَّبِعْYou follow مِلَّةَ(the) religion اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(of) Ibrahim حَنِیْفًا ؕupright وَمَاand not كَانَhe was مِنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟(123) اِنَّمَاOnly جُعِلَwas appointed السَّبْتُthe Sabbath عَلَیfor الَّذِیْنَthose who اخْتَلَفُوْاdiffered فِیْهِ ؕin it وَاِنَّAnd indeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لَیَحْكُمُwill surely judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فِیْمَاin what كَانُوْاthey used (to) فِیْهِ[in it] یَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(124) اُدْعُCall اِلٰیto سَبِیْلِ(the) way رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord بِالْحِكْمَةِwith the wisdom وَالْمَوْعِظَةِand the instruction الْحَسَنَةِthe good وَجَادِلْهُمْand discuss with them بِالَّتِیْin that هِیَwhich اَحْسَنُ ؕ(is) best اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord هُوَHe اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَنْof who ضَلَّhas strayed عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِهٖHis way وَهُوَAnd He اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِالْمُهْتَدِیْنَof the guided ones ۟(125) وَاِنْAnd if عَاقَبْتُمْyou retaliate فَعَاقِبُوْاthen retaliate بِمِثْلِwith the like مَاof what عُوْقِبْتُمْyou were afflicted بِهٖ ؕwith [it] وَلَىِٕنْBut if صَبَرْتُمْyou are patient لَهُوَsurely (it) is خَیْرٌbetter لِّلصّٰبِرِیْنَfor those who are patient ۟(126) وَاصْبِرْAnd be patient وَمَاand not صَبْرُكَ(is) your patience اِلَّاbut بِاللّٰهِfrom Allah وَلَاAnd (do) not تَحْزَنْgrieve عَلَیْهِمْover them وَلَاand (do) not تَكُbe فِیْin ضَیْقٍdistress مِّمَّاfor what یَمْكُرُوْنَthey plot ۟(127) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfear (Him) وَّالَّذِیْنَand those who هُمْ[they] مُّحْسِنُوْنَ(are) good-doers ۟۠(128) Surah 16. An-Nahl - Page 281 - Juz 14 Surah 17. Al-Isra (The Night Journey) V111 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ سُبْحٰنَExalted الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَسْرٰیtook بِعَبْدِهٖHis servant لَیْلًا(by) night مِّنَfrom الْمَسْجِدِAl-Masjid Al-Haraam الْحَرَامِAl-Masjid Al-Haraam اِلَیto الْمَسْجِدِAl-Masjid Al-Aqsa الْاَقْصَاAl-Masjid Al-Aqsa الَّذِیْwhich بٰرَكْنَاWe blessed حَوْلَهٗits surroundings لِنُرِیَهٗthat We may show him مِنْof اٰیٰتِنَا ؕOur Signs اِنَّهٗIndeed He هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْبَصِیْرُthe All-Seer ۟(1) وَاٰتَیْنَاAnd We gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَجَعَلْنٰهُand made it هُدًیa guidance لِّبَنِیْۤfor the Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel اَلَّاThat not تَتَّخِذُوْاyou take مِنْother than Me دُوْنِیْother than Me وَكِیْلًا(as) a Disposer of affairs ۟ؕ(2) ذُرِّیَّةَOffsprings مَنْ(of one) who حَمَلْنَاWe carried مَعَwith نُوْحٍ ؕNuh اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas عَبْدًاa servant شَكُوْرًاgrateful ۟(3) وَقَضَیْنَاۤAnd We decreed اِلٰیfor بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book لَتُفْسِدُنَّSurely you will cause corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مَرَّتَیْنِtwice وَلَتَعْلُنَّand surely you will reach عُلُوًّاhaughtiness كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟(4) فَاِذَاSo when جَآءَcame وَعْدُ(the) promise اُوْلٰىهُمَا(for) the first of the two بَعَثْنَاWe raised عَلَیْكُمْagainst you عِبَادًاservants لَّنَاۤof Ours اُولِیْthose of great military might بَاْسٍthose of great military might شَدِیْدٍthose of great military might فَجَاسُوْاand they entered خِلٰلَthe inner most part الدِّیَارِ(of) the homes وَكَانَand (it) was وَعْدًاa promise مَّفْعُوْلًاfulfilled ۟(5) ثُمَّThen رَدَدْنَاWe gave back لَكُمُto you الْكَرَّةَthe return victory عَلَیْهِمْover them وَاَمْدَدْنٰكُمْAnd We reinforced you بِاَمْوَالٍwith the wealth وَّبَنِیْنَand sons وَجَعَلْنٰكُمْand made you اَكْثَرَmore نَفِیْرًاnumerous ۟(6) اِنْIf اَحْسَنْتُمْyou do good اَحْسَنْتُمْyou do good لِاَنْفُسِكُمْ ۫for yourselves وَاِنْand if اَسَاْتُمْyou do evil فَلَهَا ؕthen it is for it فَاِذَاSo when جَآءَcame وَعْدُpromise الْاٰخِرَةِthe last لِیَسُوْٓءٗاto sadden وُجُوْهَكُمْyour faces وَلِیَدْخُلُواand to enter الْمَسْجِدَthe Masjid كَمَاjust as دَخَلُوْهُthey (had) entered it اَوَّلَfirst مَرَّةٍtime وَّلِیُتَبِّرُوْاand to destroy مَاwhat عَلَوْاthey had conquered تَتْبِیْرًا(with) destruction ۟(7) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 282 - Juz 15 عَسٰی(It) may be رَبُّكُمْthat your Lord اَنْthat your Lord یَّرْحَمَكُمْ ۚ(may) have mercy upon you وَاِنْBut if عُدْتُّمْyou return عُدْنَا ۘWe will return وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have made جَهَنَّمَHell لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَfor the disbelievers حَصِیْرًاa prison-bed ۟(8) اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنَthe Quran یَهْدِیْguides لِلَّتِیْto that هِیَwhich اَقْوَمُ(is) most straight وَیُبَشِّرُand gives glad tidings الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَto the believers الَّذِیْنَthose who یَعْمَلُوْنَdo الصّٰلِحٰتِthe righteous deeds اَنَّthat لَهُمْfor them اَجْرًا(is) a reward كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟ۙ(9) وَّاَنَّAnd that الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter اَعْتَدْنَاWe have prepared لَهُمْfor them عَذَابًاa punishment اَلِیْمًاpainful ۟۠(10) وَیَدْعُAnd prays الْاِنْسَانُthe man بِالشَّرِّfor evil دُعَآءَهٗ(as) he prays بِالْخَیْرِ ؕfor the good وَكَانَAnd is الْاِنْسَانُthe man عَجُوْلًاever hasty ۟(11) وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have made الَّیْلَthe night وَالنَّهَارَand the day اٰیَتَیْنِ(as) two signs فَمَحَوْنَاۤThen We erased اٰیَةَ(the) sign الَّیْلِ(of) the night وَجَعَلْنَاۤand We made اٰیَةَ(the) sign النَّهَارِ(of) the day مُبْصِرَةًvisible لِّتَبْتَغُوْاthat you may seek فَضْلًاbounty مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَلِتَعْلَمُوْاand that you may know عَدَدَ(the) number السِّنِیْنَ(of) the years وَالْحِسَابَ ؕand the account وَكُلَّAnd every شَیْءٍthing فَصَّلْنٰهُWe have explained it تَفْصِیْلًا(in) detail ۟(12) وَكُلَّAnd (for) every اِنْسَانٍman اَلْزَمْنٰهُWe have fastened to him طٰٓىِٕرَهٗhis fate فِیْin عُنُقِهٖ ؕhis neck وَنُخْرِجُand We will bring forth لَهٗfor him یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection كِتٰبًاa record یَّلْقٰىهُwhich he will find مَنْشُوْرًاwide open ۟(13) اِقْرَاْRead كِتٰبَكَ ؕyour record كَفٰیSufficient بِنَفْسِكَ(is) yourself الْیَوْمَtoday عَلَیْكَagainst you حَسِیْبًا(as) accountant ۟ؕ(14) مَنِWhoever اهْتَدٰی(is) guided فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَهْتَدِیْhe is guided لِنَفْسِهٖ ۚfor his soul وَمَنْAnd whoever ضَلَّgoes astray فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَضِلُّhe goes astray عَلَیْهَا ؕagainst it وَلَاAnd not تَزِرُwill bear وَازِرَةٌa bearer of burden وِّزْرَburden اُخْرٰی ؕ(of) another وَمَاAnd not كُنَّاWe مُعَذِّبِیْنَare to punish حَتّٰیuntil نَبْعَثَWe have sent رَسُوْلًاa Messenger ۟(15) وَاِذَاۤAnd when اَرَدْنَاۤWe intend اَنْthat نُّهْلِكَWe destroy قَرْیَةًa town اَمَرْنَاWe order مُتْرَفِیْهَاits wealthy people فَفَسَقُوْاbut they defiantly disobey فِیْهَاtherein فَحَقَّso (is) proved true عَلَیْهَاagainst it الْقَوْلُthe word فَدَمَّرْنٰهَاand We destroy it تَدْمِیْرًا(with) destruction ۟(16) وَكَمْAnd how many اَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed مِنَfrom الْقُرُوْنِthe generations مِنْafter بَعْدِafter نُوْحٍ ؕNuh وَكَفٰیAnd sufficient بِرَبِّكَ(is) your Lord بِذُنُوْبِconcerning the sins عِبَادِهٖ(of) His servants خَبِیْرًاAll-Aware بَصِیْرًاAll-Seer ۟(17) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 283 - Juz 15 مَنْWhoever كَانَshould یُرِیْدُdesire الْعَاجِلَةَthe immediate عَجَّلْنَاWe hasten لَهٗfor him فِیْهَاin it مَاwhat نَشَآءُWe will لِمَنْto whom نُّرِیْدُWe intend ثُمَّThen جَعَلْنَاWe have made لَهٗfor him جَهَنَّمَ ۚHell یَصْلٰىهَاhe will burn مَذْمُوْمًاdisgraced مَّدْحُوْرًاrejected ۟(18) وَمَنْAnd whoever اَرَادَdesires الْاٰخِرَةَthe Hereafter وَسَعٰیand exerts لَهَاfor it سَعْیَهَاthe effort وَهُوَwhile he مُؤْمِنٌ(is) a believer فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those كَانَ[are] سَعْیُهُمْtheir effort مَّشْكُوْرًا(is) appreciated ۟(19) كُلًّا(To) each نُّمِدُّWe extend هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(to) these وَهٰۤؤُلَآءِand (to) these مِنْfrom عَطَآءِ(the) gift رَبِّكَ ؕ(of) your Lord وَمَاAnd not كَانَis عَطَآءُ(the) gift رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord مَحْظُوْرًاrestricted ۟(20) اُنْظُرْSee كَیْفَhow فَضَّلْنَاWe preferred بَعْضَهُمْsome of them عَلٰیover بَعْضٍ ؕothers وَلَلْاٰخِرَةُAnd surely the Hereafter اَكْبَرُ(is) greater دَرَجٰتٍ(in) degrees وَّاَكْبَرُand greater تَفْضِیْلًا(in) excellence ۟(21) لَا(Do) not تَجْعَلْmake مَعَwith اللّٰهِAllah اِلٰهًاgod اٰخَرَanother فَتَقْعُدَlest you will sit مَذْمُوْمًاdisgraced مَّخْذُوْلًاforsaken ۟۠(22) وَقَضٰیAnd has decreed رَبُّكَyour Lord اَلَّاthat (do) not تَعْبُدُوْۤاworship اِلَّاۤexcept اِیَّاهُHim Alone وَبِالْوَالِدَیْنِand to the parents اِحْسَانًا ؕ(be) good اِمَّاWhether یَبْلُغَنَّreach عِنْدَكَwith you الْكِبَرَthe old age اَحَدُهُمَاۤone of them اَوْor كِلٰهُمَاboth of them فَلَاthen (do) not تَقُلْsay لَّهُمَاۤto both of them اُفٍّa word of disrespect وَّلَاand (do) not تَنْهَرْهُمَاrepel them وَقُلْbut speak لَّهُمَاto them قَوْلًاa word كَرِیْمًاnoble ۟(23) وَاخْفِضْAnd lower لَهُمَاto them جَنَاحَ(the) wing الذُّلِّ(of) humility مِنَ(out) of الرَّحْمَةِ[the] mercy وَقُلْand say رَّبِّMy Lord ارْحَمْهُمَاHave mercy on both of them كَمَاas رَبَّیٰنِیْthey brought me up صَغِیْرًا(when I was) small ۟ؕ(24) رَبُّكُمْYour Lord اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَاof what فِیْ(is) in نُفُوْسِكُمْ ؕyourselves اِنْIf تَكُوْنُوْاyou are صٰلِحِیْنَrighteous فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, He كَانَis لِلْاَوَّابِیْنَto those who often turn (to Him) غَفُوْرًاMost Forgiving ۟(25) وَاٰتِAnd give ذَاthe relatives الْقُرْبٰیthe relatives حَقَّهٗhis right وَالْمِسْكِیْنَand the needy وَابْنَand the wayfarer السَّبِیْلِand the wayfarer وَلَاand (do) not تُبَذِّرْspend تَبْذِیْرًاwastefully ۟(26) اِنَّIndeed الْمُبَذِّرِیْنَthe spendthrifts كَانُوْۤاare اِخْوَانَbrothers الشَّیٰطِیْنِ ؕ(of) the devils وَكَانَAnd is الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan لِرَبِّهٖto his Lord كَفُوْرًاungrateful ۟(27) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 284 - Juz 15 وَاِمَّاAnd if تُعْرِضَنَّyou turn away عَنْهُمُfrom them ابْتِغَآءَseeking رَحْمَةٍmercy مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord تَرْجُوْهَاwhich you expect فَقُلْthen say لَّهُمْto them قَوْلًاa word مَّیْسُوْرًاgentle ۟(28) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَجْعَلْmake یَدَكَyour hand مَغْلُوْلَةًchained اِلٰیto عُنُقِكَyour neck وَلَاand not تَبْسُطْهَاextend it كُلَّ(to its) utmost الْبَسْطِreach فَتَقْعُدَso that you sit مَلُوْمًاblameworthy مَّحْسُوْرًاinsolvent ۟(29) اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord یَبْسُطُextends الرِّزْقَthe provision لِمَنْfor whom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَقْدِرُ ؕand straitens اِنَّهٗIndeed, He كَانَis بِعِبَادِهٖof His slaves خَبِیْرًاAll-Aware بَصِیْرًاAll-Seer ۟۠(30) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْتُلُوْۤاkill اَوْلَادَكُمْyour children خَشْیَةَ(for) fear اِمْلَاقٍ ؕ(of) poverty نَحْنُWe نَرْزُقُهُمْ(We) provide for them وَاِیَّاكُمْ ؕand for you اِنَّIndeed قَتْلَهُمْtheir killing كَانَis خِطْاًa sin كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟(31) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْرَبُواgo near الزِّنٰۤیadultery اِنَّهٗIndeed, it كَانَis فَاحِشَةً ؕan immorality وَسَآءَand (an) evil سَبِیْلًاway ۟(32) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْتُلُواkill النَّفْسَthe soul الَّتِیْwhich حَرَّمَAllah has forbidden اللّٰهُAllah has forbidden اِلَّاexcept بِالْحَقِّ ؕby right وَمَنْAnd whoever قُتِلَ(is) killed مَظْلُوْمًاwrongfully فَقَدْverily جَعَلْنَاWe have made لِوَلِیِّهٖfor his heir سُلْطٰنًاan authority فَلَاbut not یُسْرِفْhe should exceed فِّیin الْقَتْلِ ؕthe killing اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَis مَنْصُوْرًاhelped ۟(33) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْرَبُوْاcome near مَالَ(the) wealth الْیَتِیْمِ(of) the orphan اِلَّاexcept بِالَّتِیْwith what هِیَ[it] is اَحْسَنُbest حَتّٰیuntil یَبْلُغَhe reaches اَشُدَّهٗ ۪his maturity وَاَوْفُوْاAnd fulfil بِالْعَهْدِ ۚthe covenant اِنَّIndeed الْعَهْدَthe covenant كَانَwill be مَسْـُٔوْلًاquestioned ۟(34) وَاَوْفُواAnd give full الْكَیْلَ[the] measure اِذَاwhen كِلْتُمْyou measure وَزِنُوْاand weigh بِالْقِسْطَاسِwith the balance الْمُسْتَقِیْمِ ؕthe straight ذٰلِكَThat خَیْرٌ(is) good وَّاَحْسَنُand best تَاْوِیْلًا(in) result ۟(35) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْفُpursue مَاwhat لَیْسَnot لَكَyou have بِهٖof it عِلْمٌ ؕany knowledge اِنَّIndeed السَّمْعَthe hearing وَالْبَصَرَand the sight وَالْفُؤَادَand the heart كُلُّall اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose كَانَwill be عَنْهُ[about it] مَسْـُٔوْلًاquestioned ۟(36) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَمْشِwalk فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مَرَحًا ۚ(with) insolence اِنَّكَIndeed, you لَنْwill never تَخْرِقَtear الْاَرْضَthe earth وَلَنْand will never تَبْلُغَreach الْجِبَالَthe mountains طُوْلًا(in) height ۟(37) كُلُّAll ذٰلِكَthat كَانَis سَیِّئُهٗ[its] evil عِنْدَnear رَبِّكَyour Lord مَكْرُوْهًاhateful ۟(38) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 285 - Juz 15 ذٰلِكَThat مِمَّاۤ(is) from what اَوْحٰۤی(was) revealed اِلَیْكَto you رَبُّكَ(from) your Lord مِنَof الْحِكْمَةِ ؕthe wisdom وَلَاAnd (do) not تَجْعَلْmake مَعَwith اللّٰهِAllah اِلٰهًاgod اٰخَرَother فَتُلْقٰیlest you should be thrown فِیْin جَهَنَّمَHell مَلُوْمًاblameworthy مَّدْحُوْرًاabandoned ۟(39) اَفَاَصْفٰىكُمْThen has your Lord chosen (for) you رَبُّكُمْThen has your Lord chosen (for) you بِالْبَنِیْنَsons وَاتَّخَذَand He has taken مِنَfrom الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِthe Angels اِنَاثًا ؕdaughters اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you لَتَقُوْلُوْنَsurely say قَوْلًاa word عَظِیْمًاgrave ۟۠(40) وَلَقَدْAnd verily صَرَّفْنَاWe have explained فِیْin هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنِthe Quran لِیَذَّكَّرُوْا ؕthat they may take heed وَمَاbut not یَزِیْدُهُمْit increases them اِلَّاexcept نُفُوْرًا(in) aversion ۟(41) قُلْSay لَّوْIf كَانَ(there) were مَعَهٗۤwith Him اٰلِهَةٌgods كَمَاas یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say اِذًاthen لَّابْتَغَوْاsurely they (would) have sought اِلٰیto ذِی(the) Owner الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne سَبِیْلًاa way ۟(42) سُبْحٰنَهٗGlorified is He وَتَعٰلٰیand Exalted is He عَمَّاabove what یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say عُلُوًّا(by) height كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟(43) تُسَبِّحُGlorify لَهُ[to] Him السَّمٰوٰتُthe seven heavens السَّبْعُthe seven heavens وَالْاَرْضُand the earth وَمَنْand whatever فِیْهِنَّ ؕ(is) in them وَاِنْAnd (there is) not مِّنْany شَیْءٍthing اِلَّاexcept یُسَبِّحُglorifies بِحَمْدِهٖHis Praise وَلٰكِنْbut لَّاnot تَفْقَهُوْنَyou understand تَسْبِیْحَهُمْ ؕtheir glorification اِنَّهٗIndeed, He كَانَis حَلِیْمًاEver-Forbearing غَفُوْرًاOft-Forgiving ۟(44) وَاِذَاAnd when قَرَاْتَyou recite الْقُرْاٰنَthe Quran جَعَلْنَاWe place بَیْنَكَbetween you وَبَیْنَand between الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter حِجَابًاa barrier مَّسْتُوْرًاhidden ۟ۙ(45) وَّجَعَلْنَاAnd We have placed عَلٰیover قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts اَكِنَّةًcoverings اَنْlest یَّفْقَهُوْهُthey understand it وَفِیْۤand in اٰذَانِهِمْtheir ears وَقْرًا ؕdeafness وَاِذَاAnd when ذَكَرْتَyou mention رَبَّكَyour Lord فِیin الْقُرْاٰنِthe Quran وَحْدَهٗAlone وَلَّوْاthey turn عَلٰۤیon اَدْبَارِهِمْtheir backs نُفُوْرًا(in) aversion ۟(46) نَحْنُWe اَعْلَمُknow best بِمَا[of] what یَسْتَمِعُوْنَthey listen بِهٖۤto [it] اِذْwhen یَسْتَمِعُوْنَthey listen اِلَیْكَto you وَاِذْand when هُمْthey نَجْوٰۤی(are) in private conversation اِذْwhen یَقُوْلُsay الظّٰلِمُوْنَthe wrongdoers اِنْNot تَتَّبِعُوْنَyou follow اِلَّاbut رَجُلًاa man مَّسْحُوْرًاbewitched ۟(47) اُنْظُرْSee كَیْفَhow ضَرَبُوْاthey put forth لَكَfor you الْاَمْثَالَthe examples فَضَلُّوْاbut they have gone astray فَلَاso not یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey can سَبِیْلًا(find) a way ۟(48) وَقَالُوْۤاAnd they say ءَاِذَاIs it when كُنَّاwe are عِظَامًاbones وَّرُفَاتًاand crumbled particles ءَاِنَّاwill we لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَsurely (be) resurrected خَلْقًا(as) a creation جَدِیْدًاnew ۟(49) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 286 - Juz 15 قُلْSay كُوْنُوْاBe حِجَارَةًstones اَوْor حَدِیْدًاiron ۟ۙ(50) اَوْOr خَلْقًاa creation مِّمَّاof what یَكْبُرُ(is) great فِیْin صُدُوْرِكُمْ ۚyour breasts فَسَیَقُوْلُوْنَThen they will say مَنْWho یُّعِیْدُنَا ؕwill restore us قُلِSay الَّذِیْHe Who فَطَرَكُمْcreated you اَوَّلَ(the) first مَرَّةٍ ۚtime فَسَیُنْغِضُوْنَThen they will shake اِلَیْكَat you رُءُوْسَهُمْtheir heads وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say مَتٰیWhen (will) هُوَ ؕit (be) قُلْSay عَسٰۤیPerhaps اَنْthat یَّكُوْنَ(it) will be قَرِیْبًاsoon ۟(51) یَوْمَ(On) the Day یَدْعُوْكُمْHe will call you فَتَسْتَجِیْبُوْنَand you will respond بِحَمْدِهٖwith His Praise وَتَظُنُّوْنَand you will think اِنْnot لَّبِثْتُمْyou had remained اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa little (while) ۟۠(52) وَقُلْAnd say لِّعِبَادِیْto My slaves یَقُوْلُوا(to) say الَّتِیْthat هِیَwhich اَحْسَنُ ؕ(is) best اِنَّIndeed الشَّیْطٰنَthe Shaitaan یَنْزَغُsows discord بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them اِنَّIndeed الشَّیْطٰنَthe Shaitaan كَانَis لِلْاِنْسَانِto the man عَدُوًّاan enemy مُّبِیْنًاclear ۟(53) رَبُّكُمْYour Lord اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِكُمْ ؕof you اِنْIf یَّشَاْHe wills یَرْحَمْكُمْHe will have mercy on you اَوْor اِنْif یَّشَاْHe wills یُعَذِّبْكُمْ ؕHe will punish you وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنٰكَWe have sent you عَلَیْهِمْover them وَكِیْلًا(as) a guardian ۟(54) وَرَبُّكَAnd your Lord اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَنْof whoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَلَقَدْAnd verily فَضَّلْنَاWe have preferred بَعْضَsome النَّبِیّٖنَ(of) the Prophets عَلٰیto بَعْضٍothers وَّاٰتَیْنَاAnd We gave دَاوٗدَDawood زَبُوْرًاZaboor ۟(55) قُلِSay ادْعُواCall الَّذِیْنَthose whom زَعَمْتُمْyou claimed مِّنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him فَلَا[then] not یَمْلِكُوْنَthey have power كَشْفَ(to) remove الضُّرِّthe misfortunes عَنْكُمْfrom you وَلَاand not تَحْوِیْلًا(to) transfer (it) ۟(56) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَwhom یَدْعُوْنَthey call یَبْتَغُوْنَseek اِلٰیto رَبِّهِمُtheir Lord الْوَسِیْلَةَthe means of access اَیُّهُمْwhich of them اَقْرَبُ(is) nearest وَیَرْجُوْنَand they hope رَحْمَتَهٗ(for) His mercy وَیَخَافُوْنَand fear عَذَابَهٗ ؕHis punishment اِنَّIndeed عَذَابَ(the) punishment رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord كَانَis مَحْذُوْرًا(ever) feared ۟(57) وَاِنْAnd not مِّنْ(is) any قَرْیَةٍtown اِلَّاbut نَحْنُWe مُهْلِكُوْهَا(will) destroy it قَبْلَbefore یَوْمِ(the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection اَوْor مُعَذِّبُوْهَاpunish it عَذَابًاwith a punishment شَدِیْدًا ؕsevere كَانَThat is ذٰلِكَThat is فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book مَسْطُوْرًاwritten ۟(58) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 287 - Juz 15 وَمَاAnd not مَنَعَنَاۤstopped Us اَنْthat نُّرْسِلَWe send بِالْاٰیٰتِthe Signs اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat كَذَّبَdenied بِهَاthem الْاَوَّلُوْنَ ؕthe former (people) وَاٰتَیْنَاAnd We gave ثَمُوْدَThamud النَّاقَةَthe she-camel مُبْصِرَةً(as) a visible sign فَظَلَمُوْاbut they wronged بِهَا ؕher وَمَاAnd not نُرْسِلُWe send بِالْاٰیٰتِthe Signs اِلَّاexcept تَخْوِیْفًا(as) a warning ۟(59) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said لَكَto you اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord اَحَاطَhas encompassed بِالنَّاسِ ؕthe mankind وَمَاAnd not جَعَلْنَاWe made الرُّءْیَاthe vision الَّتِیْۤwhich اَرَیْنٰكَWe showed you اِلَّاexcept فِتْنَةً(as) a trial لِّلنَّاسِfor mankind وَالشَّجَرَةَand the tree الْمَلْعُوْنَةَthe accursed فِیin الْقُرْاٰنِ ؕthe Quran وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ ۙAnd We threaten them فَمَاbut not یَزِیْدُهُمْit increases them اِلَّاexcept طُغْیَانًا(in) transgression كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟۠(60) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اسْجُدُوْاProstrate لِاٰدَمَto Adam فَسَجَدُوْۤاSo they prostrated اِلَّاۤexcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis قَالَHe said ءَاَسْجُدُShall I prostrate لِمَنْto (one) whom خَلَقْتَYou created طِیْنًا(from) clay ۟ۚ(61) قَالَHe said اَرَءَیْتَكَDo You see هٰذَاthis الَّذِیْwhom كَرَّمْتَYou have honored عَلَیَّ ؗabove me لَىِٕنْIf اَخَّرْتَنِYou give me respite اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection لَاَحْتَنِكَنَّI will surely destroy ذُرِّیَّتَهٗۤhis offspring اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa few ۟(62) قَالَHe said اذْهَبْGo فَمَنْand whoever تَبِعَكَfollows you مِنْهُمْamong them فَاِنَّthen indeed جَهَنَّمَHell جَزَآؤُكُمْ(is) your recompense جَزَآءًa recompense مَّوْفُوْرًاample ۟(63) وَاسْتَفْزِزْAnd incite مَنِwhoever اسْتَطَعْتَyou can مِنْهُمْamong them بِصَوْتِكَwith your voice وَاَجْلِبْand assault عَلَیْهِمْ[on] them بِخَیْلِكَwith your cavalry وَرَجِلِكَand infantry وَشَارِكْهُمْand be a partner فِیin الْاَمْوَالِthe wealth وَالْاَوْلَادِand the children وَعِدْهُمْ ؕand promise them وَمَاAnd not یَعِدُهُمُpromises them الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan اِلَّاexcept غُرُوْرًاdelusion ۟(64) اِنَّIndeed عِبَادِیْMy slaves لَیْسَnot لَكَfor you عَلَیْهِمْover them سُلْطٰنٌ ؕany authority وَكَفٰیAnd sufficient بِرَبِّكَ(is) your Lord وَكِیْلًا(as) a Guardian ۟(65) رَبُّكُمُYour Lord الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُزْجِیْdrives لَكُمُfor you الْفُلْكَthe ship فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea لِتَبْتَغُوْاthat you may seek مِنْof فَضْلِهٖ ؕHis Bounty اِنَّهٗIndeed, He كَانَis بِكُمْto you رَحِیْمًاEver Merciful ۟(66) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 288 - Juz 15 وَاِذَاAnd when مَسَّكُمُtouches you الضُّرُّthe hardship فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea ضَلَّlost مَنْ(are) who تَدْعُوْنَyou call اِلَّاۤexcept اِیَّاهُ ۚHim Alone فَلَمَّاBut when نَجّٰىكُمْHe delivers you اِلَیto الْبَرِّthe land اَعْرَضْتُمْ ؕyou turn away وَكَانَAnd is الْاِنْسَانُman كَفُوْرًاungrateful ۟(67) اَفَاَمِنْتُمْDo you then feel secure اَنْthat (not) یَّخْسِفَHe will cause to swallow بِكُمْyou جَانِبَside الْبَرِّ(of) the land اَوْor یُرْسِلَsend عَلَیْكُمْagainst you حَاصِبًاa storm of stones ثُمَّThen لَاnot تَجِدُوْاyou will find لَكُمْfor you وَكِیْلًاa guardian ۟ۙ(68) اَمْOr اَمِنْتُمْdo you feel secure اَنْthat (not) یُّعِیْدَكُمْHe will send you back فِیْهِinto it تَارَةًanother time اُخْرٰیanother time فَیُرْسِلَand send عَلَیْكُمْupon you قَاصِفًاa hurricane مِّنَof الرِّیْحِthe wind فَیُغْرِقَكُمْand drown you بِمَاbecause كَفَرْتُمْ ۙyou disbelieved ثُمَّThen لَاnot تَجِدُوْاyou will find لَكُمْfor you عَلَیْنَاagainst Us بِهٖtherein تَبِیْعًاan avenger ۟(69) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly كَرَّمْنَاWe have honored بَنِیْۤ(the) children of Adam اٰدَمَ(the) children of Adam وَحَمَلْنٰهُمْand We carried them فِیon الْبَرِّthe land وَالْبَحْرِand the sea وَرَزَقْنٰهُمْand We have provided them مِّنَof الطَّیِّبٰتِthe good things وَفَضَّلْنٰهُمْand We preferred them عَلٰیover كَثِیْرٍmany مِّمَّنْof those whom خَلَقْنَاWe have created تَفْضِیْلًا(with) preference ۟۠(70) یَوْمَ(The) Day نَدْعُوْاWe will call كُلَّall اُنَاسٍhuman beings بِاِمَامِهِمْ ۚwith their record فَمَنْthen whoever اُوْتِیَis given كِتٰبَهٗhis record بِیَمِیْنِهٖin his right hand فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those یَقْرَءُوْنَwill read كِتٰبَهُمْtheir records وَلَاand not یُظْلَمُوْنَthey will be wronged فَتِیْلًا(even as much as) a hair on a date seed ۟(71) وَمَنْAnd whoever كَانَis فِیْin هٰذِهٖۤthis (world) اَعْمٰیblind فَهُوَthen he فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter اَعْمٰی(will be) blind وَاَضَلُّand more astray سَبِیْلًا(from the) path ۟(72) وَاِنْAnd indeed كَادُوْاthey were about (to) لَیَفْتِنُوْنَكَtempt you away عَنِfrom الَّذِیْۤthat which اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe revealed اِلَیْكَto you لِتَفْتَرِیَthat you invent عَلَیْنَاabout Us غَیْرَهٗ ۖۗother (than) it وَاِذًاAnd then لَّاتَّخَذُوْكَsurely they would take you خَلِیْلًا(as) a friend ۟(73) وَلَوْلَاۤAnd if not اَنْ[that] ثَبَّتْنٰكَWe (had) strengthened you لَقَدْcertainly كِدْتَّyou almost تَرْكَنُ(would) have inclined اِلَیْهِمْto them شَیْـًٔا(in) something قَلِیْلًاa little ۟ۗۙ(74) اِذًاThen لَّاَذَقْنٰكَWe (would) have made you taste ضِعْفَdouble الْحَیٰوةِ(in) the life وَضِعْفَand double الْمَمَاتِ(after) the death ثُمَّThen لَاnot تَجِدُyou (would) have found لَكَfor you عَلَیْنَاagainst Us نَصِیْرًاany helper ۟(75) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 289 - Juz 15 وَاِنْAnd indeed كَادُوْاthey were about لَیَسْتَفِزُّوْنَكَ(to) scare you مِنَfrom الْاَرْضِthe land لِیُخْرِجُوْكَthat they evict you مِنْهَاfrom it وَاِذًاBut then لَّاnot یَلْبَثُوْنَthey (would) have stayed خِلٰفَكَafter you اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa little ۟(76) سُنَّةَ(Such is Our) Way مَنْ(for) whom قَدْ[verily] اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent قَبْلَكَbefore you مِنْof رُّسُلِنَاOur Messengers وَلَاAnd not تَجِدُyou will find لِسُنَّتِنَا(in) Our way تَحْوِیْلًاany alteration ۟۠(77) اَقِمِEstablish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer لِدُلُوْكِat the decline الشَّمْسِ(of) the sun اِلٰیtill غَسَقِ(the) darkness الَّیْلِ(of) the night وَقُرْاٰنَand Quran الْفَجْرِ ؕat dawn اِنَّindeed قُرْاٰنَthe Quran الْفَجْرِ(at) the dawn كَانَis مَشْهُوْدًاever witnessed ۟(78) وَمِنَAnd from الَّیْلِthe night فَتَهَجَّدْarise from sleep for prayer بِهٖwith it نَافِلَةً(as) additional لَّكَ ۖۗfor you عَسٰۤیit may be اَنْthat یَّبْعَثَكَwill raise you رَبُّكَyour Lord مَقَامًا(to) a station مَّحْمُوْدًاpraiseworthy ۟(79) وَقُلْAnd say رَّبِّMy Lord اَدْخِلْنِیْCause me to enter مُدْخَلَan entrance صِدْقٍsound وَّاَخْرِجْنِیْand cause me to exit مُخْرَجَan exit صِدْقٍsound وَّاجْعَلْand make لِّیْfor me مِنْfrom لَّدُنْكَnear You سُلْطٰنًاan authority نَّصِیْرًاhelping ۟(80) وَقُلْAnd say جَآءَHas come الْحَقُّthe truth وَزَهَقَand perished الْبَاطِلُ ؕthe falsehood اِنَّIndeed الْبَاطِلَthe falsehood كَانَis زَهُوْقًا(bound) to perish ۟(81) وَنُنَزِّلُAnd We reveal مِنَfrom الْقُرْاٰنِthe Quran مَاthat هُوَit شِفَآءٌ(is) a healing وَّرَحْمَةٌand a mercy لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ۙfor the believers وَلَاbut not یَزِیْدُit increases الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers اِلَّاexcept خَسَارًا(in) loss ۟(82) وَاِذَاۤAnd when اَنْعَمْنَاWe bestow favor عَلَیon الْاِنْسَانِman اَعْرَضَhe turns away وَنَاٰand becomes remote بِجَانِبِهٖ ۚon his side وَاِذَاAnd when مَسَّهُtouches him الشَّرُّthe evil كَانَhe is یَـُٔوْسًا(in) despair ۟(83) قُلْSay كُلٌّEach یَّعْمَلُworks عَلٰیon شَاكِلَتِهٖ ؕhis manner فَرَبُّكُمْbut your Lord اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَنْof who هُوَ[he] اَهْدٰی(is) best guided سَبِیْلًا(in) way ۟۠(84) وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you عَنِconcerning الرُّوْحِ ؕthe soul قُلِSay الرُّوْحُThe soul مِنْ(is) of اَمْرِ(the) affair رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَمَاۤAnd not اُوْتِیْتُمْyou have been given مِّنَof الْعِلْمِthe knowledge اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa little ۟(85) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if شِئْنَاWe willed لَنَذْهَبَنَّWe (would) have surely taken away بِالَّذِیْۤthat which اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you ثُمَّThen لَاnot تَجِدُyou would find لَكَfor you بِهٖconcerning it عَلَیْنَاagainst Us وَكِیْلًاany advocate ۟ۙ(86) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 290 - Juz 15 اِلَّاExcept رَحْمَةًa mercy مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ؕyour Lord اِنَّIndeed فَضْلَهٗHis Bounty كَانَis عَلَیْكَupon you كَبِیْرًاgreat ۟(87) قُلْSay لَّىِٕنِIf اجْتَمَعَتِgathered الْاِنْسُthe mankind وَالْجِنُّand the jinn عَلٰۤیto اَنْ[that] یَّاْتُوْاbring بِمِثْلِthe like هٰذَا(of) this الْقُرْاٰنِQuran لَاnot یَاْتُوْنَthey (could) bring بِمِثْلِهٖthe like of it وَلَوْeven if كَانَwere بَعْضُهُمْsome of them لِبَعْضٍto some others ظَهِیْرًاassistants ۟(88) وَلَقَدْAnd verily صَرَّفْنَاWe have explained لِلنَّاسِto mankind فِیْin هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنِQuran مِنْfrom كُلِّevery مَثَلٍ ؗexample فَاَبٰۤیbut refused اَكْثَرُmost النَّاسِ(of) the mankind اِلَّاexcept كُفُوْرًاdisbelief ۟(89) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say لَنْNever نُّؤْمِنَwe will believe لَكَin you حَتّٰیuntil تَفْجُرَyou cause to gush forth لَنَاfor us مِنَfrom الْاَرْضِthe earth یَنْۢبُوْعًاa spring ۟ۙ(90) اَوْOr تَكُوْنَyou have لَكَfor you جَنَّةٌa garden مِّنْof نَّخِیْلٍdate-palms وَّعِنَبٍand grapes فَتُفَجِّرَand cause to gush forth الْاَنْهٰرَthe rivers خِلٰلَهَاwithin them تَفْجِیْرًاabundantly ۟ۙ(91) اَوْOr تُسْقِطَyou cause to fall السَّمَآءَthe sky كَمَاas زَعَمْتَyou have claimed عَلَیْنَاupon us كِسَفًا(in) pieces اَوْor تَاْتِیَyou bring بِاللّٰهِAllah وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِand the Angels قَبِیْلًاbefore (us) ۟ۙ(92) اَوْOr یَكُوْنَis لَكَfor you بَیْتٌa house مِّنْof زُخْرُفٍornament اَوْor تَرْقٰیyou ascend فِیinto السَّمَآءِ ؕthe sky وَلَنْAnd never نُّؤْمِنَwe will believe لِرُقِیِّكَin your ascension حَتّٰیuntil تُنَزِّلَyou bring down عَلَیْنَاto us كِتٰبًاa book نَّقْرَؤُهٗ ؕwe could read it قُلْSay سُبْحَانَGlorified (is) رَبِّیْmy Lord هَلْWhat كُنْتُam I اِلَّاbut بَشَرًاa human رَّسُوْلًاa Messenger ۟۠(93) وَمَاAnd what مَنَعَprevented النَّاسَthe people اَنْthat یُّؤْمِنُوْۤاthey believe اِذْwhen جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْهُدٰۤیthe guidance اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat قَالُوْۤاthey said اَبَعَثَHas Allah sent اللّٰهُHas Allah sent بَشَرًاa human رَّسُوْلًاMessenger ۟(94) قُلْSay لَّوْIf كَانَ(there) were فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مَلٰٓىِٕكَةٌAngels یَّمْشُوْنَwalking مُطْمَىِٕنِّیْنَsecurely لَنَزَّلْنَاsurely We (would) have sent down عَلَیْهِمْto them مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe heaven مَلَكًاan Angel رَّسُوْلًا(as) a Messenger ۟(95) قُلْSay كَفٰیSufficient is بِاللّٰهِAllah شَهِیْدًا(as) a witness بَیْنِیْbetween me وَبَیْنَكُمْ ؕand between you اِنَّهٗIndeed, He كَانَis بِعِبَادِهٖof His slaves خَبِیْرًاAll-Aware بَصِیْرًاAll-Seer ۟(96) وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّهْدِAllah guides اللّٰهُAllah guides فَهُوَthen he (is) الْمُهْتَدِ ۚthe guided one وَمَنْand whoever یُّضْلِلْHe lets go astray فَلَنْthen never تَجِدَyou will find لَهُمْfor them اَوْلِیَآءَprotectors مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖ ؕbesides Him وَنَحْشُرُهُمْAnd We will gather them یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection عَلٰیon وُجُوْهِهِمْtheir faces عُمْیًاblind وَّبُكْمًاand dumb وَّصُمًّا ؕand deaf مَاْوٰىهُمْTheir abode جَهَنَّمُ ؕ(is) Hell كُلَّمَاevery time خَبَتْit subsides زِدْنٰهُمْWe (will) increase (for) them سَعِیْرًاthe blazing fire ۟(97) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 291 - Juz 15 ذٰلِكَThat جَزَآؤُهُمْ(is) their recompense بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved بِاٰیٰتِنَاin Our Verses وَقَالُوْۤاand said ءَاِذَاWhen كُنَّاwe are عِظَامًاbones وَّرُفَاتًاand crumbled particles ءَاِنَّاwill we لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَsurely (be) resurrected خَلْقًا(as) a creation جَدِیْدًاnew ۟(98) اَوَلَمْDo not یَرَوْاthey see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth قَادِرٌ(is) Able عَلٰۤی[on] اَنْto یَّخْلُقَcreate مِثْلَهُمْthe like of them وَجَعَلَAnd He has made لَهُمْfor them اَجَلًاa term لَّاno رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهِ ؕin it فَاَبَیBut refused الظّٰلِمُوْنَthe wrongdoers اِلَّاexcept كُفُوْرًاdisbelief ۟(99) قُلْSay لَّوْIf اَنْتُمْyou تَمْلِكُوْنَpossess خَزَآىِٕنَthe treasures رَحْمَةِ(of) the Mercy رَبِّیْۤ(of) my Lord اِذًاthen لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْsurely you would withhold خَشْیَةَ(out of) fear الْاِنْفَاقِ ؕ(of) spending وَكَانَAnd is الْاِنْسَانُman قَتُوْرًاstingy ۟۠(100) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنَاWe had given مُوْسٰیMusa تِسْعَnine اٰیٰتٍSigns بَیِّنٰتٍclear فَسْـَٔلْso ask بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(the) Children of Israel اِذْwhen جَآءَهُمْhe came to them فَقَالَthen said لَهٗto him فِرْعَوْنُFiraun اِنِّیْIndeed, I لَاَظُنُّكَ[I] think you یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa مَسْحُوْرًا(you are) bewitched ۟(101) قَالَHe said لَقَدْVerily عَلِمْتَyou have known مَاۤnone اَنْزَلَhas sent down هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese اِلَّاexcept رَبُّ(the) Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth بَصَآىِٕرَ ۚ(as) evidence وَاِنِّیْand indeed, I لَاَظُنُّكَ[I] surely think you یٰفِرْعَوْنُO Firaun مَثْبُوْرًا(you are) destroyed ۟(102) فَاَرَادَSo he intended اَنْto یَّسْتَفِزَّهُمْdrive them out مِّنَfrom الْاَرْضِthe land فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُbut We drowned him وَمَنْand who مَّعَهٗ(were) with him جَمِیْعًاall ۟ۙ(103) وَّقُلْنَاAnd We said مِنْafter him بَعْدِهٖafter him لِبَنِیْۤto the Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَto the Children of Israel اسْكُنُواDwell الْاَرْضَ(in) the land فَاِذَاthen when جَآءَcomes وَعْدُ(the) promise الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter جِئْنَاWe will bring بِكُمْyou لَفِیْفًا(as) a mixed crowd ۟ؕ(104) Surah 17. Al-Isra - Page 292 - Juz 15 وَبِالْحَقِّAnd with the truth اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe sent it down وَبِالْحَقِّand with the truth نَزَلَ ؕit descended وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنٰكَWe sent you اِلَّاexcept مُبَشِّرًا(as) a bearer of glad tidings وَّنَذِیْرًاand a warner ۟ۘ(105) وَقُرْاٰنًاAnd the Quran فَرَقْنٰهُWe have divided لِتَقْرَاَهٗthat you might recite it عَلَیto النَّاسِthe people عَلٰیat مُكْثٍintervals وَّنَزَّلْنٰهُAnd We have revealed it تَنْزِیْلًا(in) stages ۟(106) قُلْSay اٰمِنُوْاBelieve بِهٖۤin it اَوْor لَا(do) not تُؤْمِنُوْا ؕbelieve اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواwere given الْعِلْمَthe knowledge مِنْbefore it قَبْلِهٖۤbefore it اِذَاwhen یُتْلٰیit is recited عَلَیْهِمْto them یَخِرُّوْنَthey fall لِلْاَذْقَانِon their faces سُجَّدًا(in) prostration ۟ۙ(107) وَّیَقُوْلُوْنَAnd they say سُبْحٰنَGlory be to رَبِّنَاۤour Lord اِنْIndeed كَانَis وَعْدُ(the) promise رَبِّنَا(of) our Lord لَمَفْعُوْلًاsurely fulfilled ۟(108) وَیَخِرُّوْنَAnd they fall لِلْاَذْقَانِon their faces یَبْكُوْنَweeping وَیَزِیْدُهُمْand it increases them خُشُوْعًا(in) humility ۟(109) قُلِSay ادْعُواInvoke اللّٰهَAllah اَوِor ادْعُواinvoke الرَّحْمٰنَ ؕthe Most Gracious اَیًّاBy whatever (name) مَّاBy whatever (name) تَدْعُوْاyou invoke فَلَهُto Him (belongs) الْاَسْمَآءُthe Most Beautiful Names الْحُسْنٰی ۚthe Most Beautiful Names وَلَاAnd (do) not تَجْهَرْbe loud بِصَلَاتِكَin your prayers وَلَاand not تُخَافِتْbe silent بِهَاtherein وَابْتَغِbut seek بَیْنَbetween ذٰلِكَthat سَبِیْلًاa way ۟(110) وَقُلِAnd say الْحَمْدُAll Praise لِلّٰهِ(is) for Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who لَمْhas not taken یَتَّخِذْhas not taken وَلَدًاa son وَّلَمْand not یَكُنْis لَّهٗfor Him شَرِیْكٌa partner فِیin الْمُلْكِthe dominion وَلَمْand not یَكُنْis لَّهٗfor Him وَلِیٌّany protector مِّنَout of الذُّلِّweakness وَكَبِّرْهُAnd magnify Him تَكْبِیْرًا(with all) magnificence ۟۠(111) Surah 18. Al-Kahf (The Cave) V110 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ اَلْحَمْدُAll Praise لِلّٰهِ(is) for Allah الَّذِیْۤthe One Who اَنْزَلَ(has) revealed عَلٰیto عَبْدِهِHis slave الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَلَمْand not یَجْعَلْ(has) made لَّهٗin it عِوَجًاany crookedness ۟ؕٚ(1) قَیِّمًاStraight لِّیُنْذِرَto warn بَاْسًا(of) a punishment شَدِیْدًاsevere مِّنْfrom لَّدُنْهُnear Him وَیُبَشِّرَand give glad tidings الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(to) the believers الَّذِیْنَthose who یَعْمَلُوْنَdo الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds اَنَّthat لَهُمْfor them اَجْرًا(is) a good reward حَسَنًا(is) a good reward ۟ۙ(2) مَّاكِثِیْنَ(They will) abide فِیْهِin it اَبَدًاforever ۟ۙ(3) وَّیُنْذِرَAnd to warn الَّذِیْنَthose who قَالُواsay اتَّخَذَAllah has taken اللّٰهُAllah has taken وَلَدًاa son ۟ۗ(4) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 293 - Juz 15 مَاNot لَهُمْthey have بِهٖabout it مِنْany عِلْمٍknowledge وَّلَاand not لِاٰبَآىِٕهِمْ ؕtheir forefathers كَبُرَتْGrave (is) كَلِمَةًthe word تَخْرُجُ(that) comes out مِنْof اَفْوَاهِهِمْ ؕtheir mouths اِنْNot یَّقُوْلُوْنَthey say اِلَّاexcept كَذِبًاa lie ۟(5) فَلَعَلَّكَThen perhaps you would (be) بَاخِعٌthe one who kills نَّفْسَكَyourself عَلٰۤیover اٰثَارِهِمْtheir footsteps اِنْif لَّمْnot یُؤْمِنُوْاthey believe بِهٰذَاin this الْحَدِیْثِ[the] narration اَسَفًا(in) grief ۟(6) اِنَّاIndeed, We جَعَلْنَاWe have made مَاwhat عَلَی(is) on الْاَرْضِthe earth زِیْنَةًadornment لَّهَاfor it لِنَبْلُوَهُمْthat We may test [them] اَیُّهُمْwhich of them اَحْسَنُ(is) best عَمَلًا(in) deed ۟(7) وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, We لَجٰعِلُوْنَ(will) surely make مَاwhat عَلَیْهَا(is) on it صَعِیْدًاsoil جُرُزًاbarren ۟ؕ(8) اَمْOr حَسِبْتَhave you thought اَنَّthat اَصْحٰبَ(the) companions الْكَهْفِ(of) the cave وَالرَّقِیْمِ ۙand the inscription كَانُوْاwere مِنْamong اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs عَجَبًاa wonder ۟(9) اِذْWhen اَوَیretreated الْفِتْیَةُthe youths اِلَیto الْكَهْفِthe cave فَقَالُوْاand they said رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اٰتِنَاGrant us مِنْfrom لَّدُنْكَYourself رَحْمَةًMercy وَّهَیِّئْand facilitate لَنَاfor us مِنْ[from] اَمْرِنَاour affair رَشَدًا(in the) right way ۟(10) فَضَرَبْنَاSo We cast عَلٰۤیover اٰذَانِهِمْtheir ears فِیin الْكَهْفِthe cave سِنِیْنَyears عَدَدًاa number ۟ۙ(11) ثُمَّThen بَعَثْنٰهُمْWe raised them up لِنَعْلَمَthat We make evident اَیُّwhich الْحِزْبَیْنِ(of) the two parties اَحْصٰیbest calculated لِمَاfor what لَبِثُوْۤا(they had) remained اَمَدًا(in) time ۟۠(12) نَحْنُWe نَقُصُّnarrate عَلَیْكَto you نَبَاَهُمْtheir story بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they (were) فِتْیَةٌyouths اٰمَنُوْاwho believed بِرَبِّهِمْin their Lord وَزِدْنٰهُمْand We increased them هُدًی(in) guidance ۟ۗۖ(13) وَّرَبَطْنَاAnd We made firm عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts اِذْwhen قَامُوْاthey stood up فَقَالُوْاand said رَبُّنَاOur Lord رَبُّ(is) the Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth لَنْNever نَّدْعُوَاۡwe will invoke مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اِلٰهًاany god لَّقَدْCertainly قُلْنَاۤwe would have said اِذًاthen شَطَطًاan enormity ۟(14) هٰۤؤُلَآءِThese قَوْمُنَاour people اتَّخَذُوْاhave taken مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اٰلِهَةً ؕgods لَوْلَاWhy not یَاْتُوْنَthey come عَلَیْهِمْto them بِسُلْطٰنٍwith an authority بَیِّنٍ ؕclear فَمَنْAnd who اَظْلَمُ(is) more wrong مِمَّنِthan (one) who افْتَرٰیinvents عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie ۟ؕ(15) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 294 - Juz 15 وَاِذِAnd when اعْتَزَلْتُمُوْهُمْyou withdraw from them وَمَاand what یَعْبُدُوْنَthey worship اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهَAllah فَاْوٗۤاthen retreat اِلَیto الْكَهْفِthe cave یَنْشُرْWill spread لَكُمْfor you رَبُّكُمْyour Lord مِّنْof رَّحْمَتِهٖHis Mercy وَیُهَیِّئْand will facilitate لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ[from] اَمْرِكُمْyour affair مِّرْفَقًا(in) ease ۟(16) وَتَرَیAnd you (might) have seen الشَّمْسَthe sun اِذَاwhen طَلَعَتْit rose تَّزٰوَرُinclining away عَنْfrom كَهْفِهِمْtheir cave ذَاتَto الْیَمِیْنِthe right وَاِذَاand when غَرَبَتْit set تَّقْرِضُهُمْpassing away from them ذَاتَto الشِّمَالِthe left وَهُمْwhile they فِیْ(lay) in فَجْوَةٍthe open space مِّنْهُ ؕthereof ذٰلِكَThat مِنْ(was) from اٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah مَنْWhoever یَّهْدِAllah guides اللّٰهُAllah guides فَهُوَand he الْمُهْتَدِ ۚ(is) the guided one وَمَنْand whoever یُّضْلِلْHe lets go astray فَلَنْthen never تَجِدَyou will find لَهٗfor him وَلِیًّاa protector مُّرْشِدًاa guide ۟۠(17) وَتَحْسَبُهُمْAnd you (would) think them اَیْقَاظًاawake وَّهُمْwhile they رُقُوْدٌ ۖۗ(were) asleep وَّنُقَلِّبُهُمْAnd We turned them ذَاتَto الْیَمِیْنِthe right وَذَاتَand to الشِّمَالِ ۖۗthe left وَكَلْبُهُمْwhile their dog بَاسِطٌstretched ذِرَاعَیْهِhis two forelegs بِالْوَصِیْدِ ؕat the entrance لَوِIf اطَّلَعْتَyou had looked عَلَیْهِمْat them لَوَلَّیْتَyou (would) have surely turned back مِنْهُمْfrom them فِرَارًا(in) flight وَّلَمُلِئْتَand surely you would have been filled مِنْهُمْby them رُعْبًا(with) terror ۟(18) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd similarly بَعَثْنٰهُمْWe raised them لِیَتَسَآءَلُوْاthat they might question بَیْنَهُمْ ؕamong them قَالَSaid قَآىِٕلٌa speaker مِّنْهُمْamong them كَمْHow long لَبِثْتُمْ ؕhave you remained قَالُوْاThey said لَبِثْنَاWe have remained یَوْمًاa day اَوْor بَعْضَa part یَوْمٍ ؕ(of) a day قَالُوْاThey said رَبُّكُمْYour Lord اَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاhow long لَبِثْتُمْ ؕyou have remained فَابْعَثُوْۤاSo send اَحَدَكُمْone of you بِوَرِقِكُمْwith this silver coin of yours هٰذِهٖۤwith this silver coin of yours اِلَیto الْمَدِیْنَةِthe city فَلْیَنْظُرْand let him see اَیُّهَاۤwhich is اَزْكٰیthe purest طَعَامًاfood فَلْیَاْتِكُمْand let him bring to you بِرِزْقٍprovision مِّنْهُfrom it and let him be cautious وَلَاAnd let not be aware یُشْعِرَنَّAnd let not be aware بِكُمْabout you اَحَدًاanyone ۟(19) اِنَّهُمْIndeed, [they] اِنْif یَّظْهَرُوْاthey come to know عَلَیْكُمْabout you یَرْجُمُوْكُمْthey will stone you اَوْor یُعِیْدُوْكُمْreturn you فِیْto مِلَّتِهِمْtheir religion وَلَنْAnd never تُفْلِحُوْۤاwill you succeed اِذًاthen اَبَدًاever ۟(20) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 295 - Juz 15 وَكَذٰلِكَAnd similarly اَعْثَرْنَاWe made known عَلَیْهِمْabout them لِیَعْلَمُوْۤاthat they might know اَنَّthat وَعْدَ(the) Promise اللّٰهِ(of) Allah حَقٌّ(is) true وَّاَنَّand that السَّاعَةَ(about) the Hour لَا(there is) no رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهَا ۗۚin it اِذْWhen یَتَنَازَعُوْنَthey disputed بَیْنَهُمْamong themselves اَمْرَهُمْabout their affair فَقَالُواand they said ابْنُوْاConstruct عَلَیْهِمْover them بُنْیَانًا ؕa structure رَبُّهُمْTheir Lord اَعْلَمُknows best بِهِمْ ؕabout them قَالَSaid الَّذِیْنَthose who غَلَبُوْاprevailed عَلٰۤیin اَمْرِهِمْtheir matter لَنَتَّخِذَنَّSurely we will take عَلَیْهِمْover them مَّسْجِدًاa place of worship ۟(21) سَیَقُوْلُوْنَThey say ثَلٰثَةٌ(they were) three رَّابِعُهُمْthe forth of them كَلْبُهُمْ ۚtheir dog وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say خَمْسَةٌ(they were) five سَادِسُهُمْthe sixth of them كَلْبُهُمْtheir dog رَجْمًاguessing بِالْغَیْبِ ۚabout the unseen وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say سَبْعَةٌ(they were) seven وَّثَامِنُهُمْand the eight of them كَلْبُهُمْ ؕtheir dog قُلْSay رَّبِّیْۤMy Lord اَعْلَمُknows best بِعِدَّتِهِمْtheir number مَّاNone یَعْلَمُهُمْknows them اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلٌ ۫۬a few فَلَاSo (do) not تُمَارِargue فِیْهِمْabout them اِلَّاexcept مِرَآءً(with) an argument ظَاهِرًا ۪obvious وَّلَاand (do) not تَسْتَفْتِinquire فِیْهِمْabout them مِّنْهُمْamong them اَحَدًا(from) anyone ۟۠(22) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقُوْلَنَّsay لِشَایْءٍof anything اِنِّیْIndeed, I فَاعِلٌwill do ذٰلِكَthat غَدًاtomorrow ۟ۙ(23) اِلَّاۤExcept اَنْIf یَّشَآءَAllah wills اللّٰهُ ؗAllah wills وَاذْكُرْAnd remember رَّبَّكَyour Lord اِذَاwhen نَسِیْتَyou forget وَقُلْand say عَسٰۤیPerhaps اَنْ[that] یَّهْدِیَنِwill guide me رَبِّیْmy Lord لِاَقْرَبَto a nearer (way) مِنْthan هٰذَاthis رَشَدًاright way ۟(24) وَلَبِثُوْاAnd they remained فِیْin كَهْفِهِمْtheir cave ثَلٰثَ(for) three مِائَةٍhundred سِنِیْنَyears وَازْدَادُوْاand add تِسْعًاnine ۟(25) قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah اَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاabout what (period) لَبِثُوْا ۚthey remained لَهٗFor Him غَیْبُ(is the) unseen السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth اَبْصِرْHow clearly He sees بِهٖ[of it] وَاَسْمِعْ ؕAnd how clearly He hears مَاNot لَهُمْfor them مِّنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him مِنْany وَّلِیٍّ ؗprotector وَّلَاand not یُشْرِكُHe shares فِیْ[in] حُكْمِهٖۤHis Commands اَحَدًا(with) anyone ۟(26) وَاتْلُAnd recite مَاۤwhat اُوْحِیَhas been revealed اِلَیْكَto you مِنْof كِتَابِthe Book رَبِّكَ ؕۚ(of) your Lord لَاNone مُبَدِّلَcan change لِكَلِمٰتِهٖ ۫ۚHis Words وَلَنْand never تَجِدَyou will find مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him مُلْتَحَدًاa refuge ۟(27) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 296 - Juz 15 وَاصْبِرْAnd be patient نَفْسَكَyourself مَعَwith الَّذِیْنَthose who یَدْعُوْنَcall رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord بِالْغَدٰوةِin the morning وَالْعَشِیِّand the evening یُرِیْدُوْنَdesiring وَجْهَهٗHis Face وَلَاAnd (let) not تَعْدُpass beyond عَیْنٰكَyour eyes عَنْهُمْ ۚover them تُرِیْدُdesiring زِیْنَةَadornment الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world وَلَاand (do) not تُطِعْobey مَنْwhom اَغْفَلْنَاWe have made heedless قَلْبَهٗhis heart عَنْof ذِكْرِنَاOur remembrance وَاتَّبَعَand follows هَوٰىهُhis desires وَكَانَand is اَمْرُهٗhis affair فُرُطًا(in) excess ۟(28) وَقُلِAnd say الْحَقُّThe truth مِنْ(is) from رَّبِّكُمْ ۫your Lord فَمَنْso whoever شَآءَwills فَلْیُؤْمِنْlet him believe وَّمَنْand whoever شَآءَwills فَلْیَكْفُرْ ۙlet him disbelieve اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَعْتَدْنَاhave prepared لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَfor the wrongdoers نَارًا ۙa Fire اَحَاطَwill surround بِهِمْthem سُرَادِقُهَا ؕits walls وَاِنْAnd if یَّسْتَغِیْثُوْاthey call for relief یُغَاثُوْاthey will be relieved بِمَآءٍwith water كَالْمُهْلِlike molten brass یَشْوِی(which) scalds الْوُجُوْهَ ؕthe faces بِئْسَWretched الشَّرَابُ ؕ(is) the drink وَسَآءَتْand evil مُرْتَفَقًا(is) the resting place ۟(29) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِthe good deeds اِنَّاindeed, We لَاwill not let go waste نُضِیْعُwill not let go waste اَجْرَ(the) reward مَنْ(of one) who اَحْسَنَdoes good عَمَلًاdeeds ۟ۚ(30) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمْfor them جَنّٰتُ(are) Gardens عَدْنٍof Eden تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهِمُunderneath them الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers یُحَلَّوْنَThey will be adorned فِیْهَاtherein مِنْ[of] (with) اَسَاوِرَbracelets مِنْof ذَهَبٍgold وَّیَلْبَسُوْنَand will wear ثِیَابًاgarments خُضْرًاgreen مِّنْof سُنْدُسٍfine silk وَّاِسْتَبْرَقٍand heavy brocade مُّتَّكِـِٕیْنَreclining فِیْهَاtherein عَلَیon الْاَرَآىِٕكِ ؕadorned couches نِعْمَExcellent الثَّوَابُ ؕ(is) the reward وَحَسُنَتْand good مُرْتَفَقًا(is) the resting place ۟۠(31) وَاضْرِبْAnd set forth لَهُمْto them مَّثَلًاthe example رَّجُلَیْنِof two men: جَعَلْنَاWe provided لِاَحَدِهِمَاfor one of them جَنَّتَیْنِtwo gardens مِنْof اَعْنَابٍgrapes وَّحَفَفْنٰهُمَاand We bordered them بِنَخْلٍwith date-palms وَّجَعَلْنَاand We placed بَیْنَهُمَاbetween both of them زَرْعًاcrops ۟ؕ(32) كِلْتَاEach الْجَنَّتَیْنِ(of) the two gardens اٰتَتْbrought forth اُكُلَهَاits produce وَلَمْand not تَظْلِمْdid wrong مِّنْهُof it شَیْـًٔا ۙanything وَّفَجَّرْنَاAnd We caused to gush forth خِلٰلَهُمَاwithin them نَهَرًاa river ۟ۙ(33) وَّكَانَAnd was لَهٗfor him ثَمَرٌ ۚfruit فَقَالَso he said لِصَاحِبِهٖto his companion وَهُوَwhile he یُحَاوِرُهٗۤ(was) talking with him اَنَاI am اَكْثَرُgreater مِنْكَthan you مَالًا(in) wealth وَّاَعَزُّand stronger نَفَرًا(in) men ۟(34) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 297 - Juz 15 وَدَخَلَAnd he entered جَنَّتَهٗhis garden وَهُوَwhile he ظَالِمٌ(was) unjust لِّنَفْسِهٖ ۚto himself قَالَHe said مَاۤNot اَظُنُّI think اَنْthat تَبِیْدَwill perish هٰذِهٖۤthis اَبَدًاever ۟ۙ(35) وَّمَاۤAnd not اَظُنُّI think السَّاعَةَthe Hour قَآىِٕمَةً ۙwill occur وَّلَىِٕنْAnd if رُّدِدْتُّI am brought back اِلٰیto رَبِّیْmy Lord لَاَجِدَنَّI will surely find خَیْرًاbetter مِّنْهَاthan this مُنْقَلَبًا(as) a return ۟ۚ(36) قَالَSaid لَهٗto him صَاحِبُهٗhis companion وَهُوَwhile he یُحَاوِرُهٗۤwas talking to him اَكَفَرْتَDo you disbelieve بِالَّذِیْin One Who خَلَقَكَcreated you مِنْfrom تُرَابٍdust ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom نُّطْفَةٍa minute quantity of semen ثُمَّthen سَوّٰىكَfashioned you رَجُلًا(into) a man ۟ؕ(37) لٰكِنَّاۡBut as for me هُوَHe اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبِّیْmy Lord وَلَاۤand not اُشْرِكُI associate بِرَبِّیْۤwith my Lord اَحَدًاanyone ۟(38) وَلَوْلَاۤAnd why (did you) not اِذْwhen دَخَلْتَyou entered جَنَّتَكَyour garden قُلْتَsay مَاWhat شَآءَwills اللّٰهُ ۙAllah لَا(there is) no قُوَّةَpower اِلَّاexcept بِاللّٰهِ ۚwith Allah اِنْIf تَرَنِyou see me اَنَا(me) اَقَلَّlesser مِنْكَthan you مَالًا(in) wealth وَّوَلَدًاand children ۟ۚ(39) فَعَسٰیIt may be رَبِّیْۤthat my Lord اَنْthat my Lord یُّؤْتِیَنِwill give me خَیْرًاbetter مِّنْthan جَنَّتِكَyour garden وَیُرْسِلَand will send عَلَیْهَاupon it حُسْبَانًاa calamity مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky فَتُصْبِحَthen it will become صَعِیْدًاground زَلَقًاslippery ۟ۙ(40) اَوْOr یُصْبِحَwill become مَآؤُهَاits water غَوْرًاsunken فَلَنْso never تَسْتَطِیْعَyou will be able لَهٗto find it طَلَبًاto find it ۟(41) وَاُحِیْطَAnd were surrounded بِثَمَرِهٖhis fruits فَاَصْبَحَso he began یُقَلِّبُtwisting كَفَّیْهِhis hands عَلٰیover مَاۤwhat اَنْفَقَhe (had) spent فِیْهَاon it وَهِیَwhile it (had) خَاوِیَةٌcollapsed عَلٰیon عُرُوْشِهَاits trellises وَیَقُوْلُand he said یٰلَیْتَنِیْOh! I wish لَمْI had not associated اُشْرِكْI had not associated بِرَبِّیْۤwith my Lord اَحَدًاanyone ۟(42) وَلَمْAnd not تَكُنْwas لَّهٗfor him فِئَةٌa group یَّنْصُرُوْنَهٗ(to) help him مِنْother than دُوْنِother than اللّٰهِAllah وَمَاand not كَانَwas مُنْتَصِرًا(he) supported ۟ؕ(43) هُنَالِكَThere الْوَلَایَةُthe protection لِلّٰهِ(is) from Allah الْحَقِّ ؕthe True هُوَHe خَیْرٌ(is the) best ثَوَابًا(to) reward وَّخَیْرٌand (the) best عُقْبًا(for) the final end ۟۠(44) وَاضْرِبْAnd present لَهُمْto them مَّثَلَthe example الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world كَمَآءٍlike water اَنْزَلْنٰهُwhich We send down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky فَاخْتَلَطَthen mingles بِهٖwith it نَبَاتُ(the) vegetation الْاَرْضِ(of) the earth فَاَصْبَحَthen becomes هَشِیْمًاdry stalks تَذْرُوْهُit (is) scattered الرِّیٰحُ ؕ(by) the winds وَكَانَAnd Allah اللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلٰیover كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing مُّقْتَدِرًا(is) All Able ۟(45) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 298 - Juz 15 اَلْمَالُThe wealth وَالْبَنُوْنَand children زِیْنَةُ(are) adornment الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world وَالْبٰقِیٰتُBut the enduring الصّٰلِحٰتُgood deeds خَیْرٌ(are) better عِنْدَnear رَبِّكَyour Lord ثَوَابًا(for) reward وَّخَیْرٌand better اَمَلًا(for) hope ۟(46) وَیَوْمَAnd the Day نُسَیِّرُWe will cause (to) move الْجِبَالَthe mountains وَتَرَیand you will see الْاَرْضَthe earth بَارِزَةً ۙ(as) a leveled plain وَّحَشَرْنٰهُمْand We will gather them فَلَمْand not نُغَادِرْWe will leave behind مِنْهُمْfrom them اَحَدًاanyone ۟ۚ(47) وَعُرِضُوْاAnd they will be presented عَلٰیbefore رَبِّكَyour Lord صَفًّا ؕ(in) rows لَقَدْCertainly جِئْتُمُوْنَاyou have come to Us كَمَاas خَلَقْنٰكُمْWe created you اَوَّلَthe first مَرَّةٍؗtime بَلْNay زَعَمْتُمْyou claimed اَلَّنْthat not نَّجْعَلَWe made لَكُمْfor you مَّوْعِدًاan appointment ۟(48) وَوُضِعَAnd (will) be placed الْكِتٰبُthe Book فَتَرَیand you will see الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals مُشْفِقِیْنَfearful مِمَّاof what فِیْهِ(is) in it وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they will say یٰوَیْلَتَنَاOh, woe to us مَالِWhat (is) for هٰذَاthis الْكِتٰبِ[the] Book لَاnot یُغَادِرُleaves صَغِیْرَةًa small وَّلَاand not كَبِیْرَةًa great اِلَّاۤexcept اَحْصٰىهَا ۚhas enumerated it وَوَجَدُوْاAnd they will find مَاwhat عَمِلُوْاthey did حَاضِرًا ؕpresented وَلَاAnd not یَظْلِمُdeals unjustly رَبُّكَyour Lord اَحَدًا(with) anyone ۟۠(49) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اسْجُدُوْاProstrate لِاٰدَمَto Adam فَسَجَدُوْۤاso they prostrated اِلَّاۤexcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis كَانَ(He) was مِنَof الْجِنِّthe jinn فَفَسَقَand he rebelled عَنْagainst اَمْرِthe Command رَبِّهٖ ؕ(of) his Lord اَفَتَتَّخِذُوْنَهٗWill you then take him وَذُرِّیَّتَهٗۤand his offspring اَوْلِیَآءَ(as) protectors مِنْother than Me دُوْنِیْother than Me وَهُمْwhile they لَكُمْ(are) to you عَدُوٌّ ؕenemies بِئْسَWretched لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَfor the wrongdoers بَدَلًا(is) the exchange ۟(50) مَاۤNot اَشْهَدْتُّهُمْI made them witness خَلْقَthe creation السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَلَاand not خَلْقَthe creation اَنْفُسِهِمْ ۪(of) themselves وَمَاand not كُنْتُI Am مُتَّخِذَthe One to take الْمُضِلِّیْنَthe misleaders عَضُدًا(as) helper(s) ۟(51) وَیَوْمَAnd the Day یَقُوْلُHe will say نَادُوْاCall شُرَكَآءِیَMy partners الَّذِیْنَthose who زَعَمْتُمْyou claimed فَدَعَوْهُمْthen they will call them فَلَمْbut not یَسْتَجِیْبُوْاthey will respond لَهُمْto them وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We will make بَیْنَهُمْbetween them مَّوْبِقًاa barrier ۟(52) وَرَاَAnd will see الْمُجْرِمُوْنَthe criminals النَّارَthe Fire فَظَنُّوْۤاand they (will be) certain اَنَّهُمْthat they مُّوَاقِعُوْهَاare to fall in it وَلَمْAnd not یَجِدُوْاthey will find عَنْهَاfrom it مَصْرِفًاa way of escape ۟۠(53) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 299 - Juz 15 وَلَقَدْAnd certainly صَرَّفْنَاWe have explained فِیْin هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنِthe Quran لِلنَّاسِfor mankind مِنْof كُلِّevery مَثَلٍ ؕexample وَكَانَBut is الْاِنْسَانُthe man اَكْثَرَ(in) most شَیْءٍthings جَدَلًاquarrelsome ۟(54) وَمَاAnd nothing مَنَعَprevents النَّاسَmen اَنْthat یُّؤْمِنُوْۤاthey believe اِذْwhen جَآءَهُمُhas come to them الْهُدٰیthe guidance وَیَسْتَغْفِرُوْاand they ask forgiveness رَبَّهُمْ(of) their Lord اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَاْتِیَهُمْcomes to them سُنَّةُ(the) way الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) اَوْor یَاْتِیَهُمُcomes to them الْعَذَابُthe punishment قُبُلًاbefore (them) ۟(55) وَمَاAnd not نُرْسِلُWe send الْمُرْسَلِیْنَthe Messengers اِلَّاexcept مُبَشِّرِیْنَ(as) bearers of glad tidings وَمُنْذِرِیْنَ ۚand (as) warners وَیُجَادِلُAnd dispute الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِالْبَاطِلِwith falsehood لِیُدْحِضُوْاto refute بِهِthereby الْحَقَّthe truth وَاتَّخَذُوْۤاAnd they take اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses وَمَاۤand what اُنْذِرُوْاthey are warned هُزُوًا(in) ridicule ۟(56) وَمَنْAnd who اَظْلَمُ(is) more wrong مِمَّنْthan (he) who ذُكِّرَis reminded بِاٰیٰتِof the Verses رَبِّهٖ(of) his Lord فَاَعْرَضَbut turns away عَنْهَاfrom them وَنَسِیَand forgets مَاwhat قَدَّمَتْhave sent forth یَدٰهُ ؕhis hands اِنَّاIndeed, We جَعَلْنَا[We] have placed عَلٰیover قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts اَكِنَّةًcoverings اَنْlest یَّفْقَهُوْهُthey understand it وَفِیْۤand in اٰذَانِهِمْtheir ears وَقْرًا ؕ(is) deafness وَاِنْAnd if تَدْعُهُمْyou call them اِلَیto الْهُدٰیthe guidance فَلَنْthen never یَّهْتَدُوْۤاthey will be guided اِذًاthen اَبَدًاever ۟(57) وَرَبُّكَAnd your Lord الْغَفُوْرُ(is) the Most Forgiving ذُوOwner الرَّحْمَةِ ؕ(of) the Mercy لَوْIf یُؤَاخِذُهُمْHe were to seize them بِمَاfor what كَسَبُوْاthey have earned لَعَجَّلَsurely, He (would) have hastened لَهُمُfor them الْعَذَابَ ؕthe punishment بَلْBut لَّهُمْfor them مَّوْعِدٌ(is) an appointment لَّنْnever یَّجِدُوْاthey will find مِنْother than it دُوْنِهٖother than it مَوْىِٕلًاan escape ۟(58) وَتِلْكَAnd these الْقُرٰۤی[the] towns اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْWe destroyed them لَمَّاwhen ظَلَمُوْاthey wronged وَجَعَلْنَاand We made لِمَهْلِكِهِمْfor their destruction مَّوْعِدًاan appointed time ۟۠(59) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid مُوْسٰیMusa لِفَتٰىهُto his boy لَاۤNot اَبْرَحُI will cease حَتّٰۤیuntil اَبْلُغَI reach مَجْمَعَthe junction الْبَحْرَیْنِ(of) the two seas اَوْor اَمْضِیَI continue حُقُبًا(for) a long period ۟(60) فَلَمَّاBut when بَلَغَاthey reached مَجْمَعَthe junction بَیْنِهِمَاbetween them نَسِیَاthey forgot حُوْتَهُمَاtheir fish فَاتَّخَذَand it took سَبِیْلَهٗits way فِیinto الْبَحْرِthe sea سَرَبًاslipping away ۟(61) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 300 - Juz 15 فَلَمَّاThen when جَاوَزَاthey had passed beyond قَالَhe said لِفَتٰىهُto his boy اٰتِنَاBring us غَدَآءَنَا ؗour morning meal لَقَدْCertainly لَقِیْنَاwe have suffered مِنْin سَفَرِنَاour journey هٰذَاthis نَصَبًاfatigue ۟(62) قَالَHe said اَرَءَیْتَDid you see اِذْwhen اَوَیْنَاۤwe retired اِلَیto الصَّخْرَةِthe rock فَاِنِّیْThen indeed, I نَسِیْتُ[I] forgot الْحُوْتَ ؗthe fish وَمَاۤAnd not اَنْسٰىنِیْهُmade me forget it اِلَّاexcept الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan اَنْthat اَذْكُرَهٗ ۚI mention it وَاتَّخَذَAnd it took سَبِیْلَهٗits way فِیinto الْبَحْرِ ۖۗthe sea عَجَبًاamazingly ۟(63) قَالَHe said ذٰلِكَThat مَا(is) what كُنَّاwe were نَبْغِ ۖۗseeking فَارْتَدَّاSo they returned عَلٰۤیon اٰثَارِهِمَاtheir footprints قَصَصًاretracing ۟ۙ(64) فَوَجَدَاThen they found عَبْدًاa servant مِّنْfrom عِبَادِنَاۤOur servants اٰتَیْنٰهُwhom We had given رَحْمَةًmercy مِّنْfrom عِنْدِنَاUs وَعَلَّمْنٰهُand We had taught him مِنْfrom لَّدُنَّاUs عِلْمًاa knowledge ۟(65) قَالَSaid لَهٗto him مُوْسٰیMusa هَلْMay اَتَّبِعُكَI follow you عَلٰۤیon اَنْthat تُعَلِّمَنِyou teach me مِمَّاof what عُلِّمْتَyou have been taught رُشْدًا(of) right guidance ۟(66) قَالَHe said اِنَّكَIndeed, you لَنْnever تَسْتَطِیْعَwill be able مَعِیَwith me صَبْرًا(to have) patience ۟(67) وَكَیْفَAnd how can تَصْبِرُyou have patience عَلٰیfor مَاwhat لَمْnot تُحِطْyou encompass بِهٖof it خُبْرًاany knowledge ۟(68) قَالَHe said سَتَجِدُنِیْۤYou will find me اِنْif شَآءَAllah wills اللّٰهُAllah wills صَابِرًاpatient وَّلَاۤand not اَعْصِیْI will disobey لَكَyour اَمْرًاorder ۟(69) قَالَHe said فَاِنِThen if اتَّبَعْتَنِیْyou follow me فَلَا(do) not تَسْـَٔلْنِیْask me عَنْabout شَیْءٍanything حَتّٰۤیuntil اُحْدِثَI present لَكَto you مِنْهُof it ذِكْرًاa mention ۟۠(70) فَانْطَلَقَا ۥSo they both set out حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen رَكِبَاthey had embarked فِیon السَّفِیْنَةِthe ship خَرَقَهَا ؕhe made a hole in it قَالَHe said اَخَرَقْتَهَاHave you made a hole in it لِتُغْرِقَto drown اَهْلَهَا ۚits people لَقَدْCertainly جِئْتَyou have done شَیْـًٔاa thing اِمْرًاgrave ۟(71) قَالَHe said اَلَمْDid not اَقُلْI say اِنَّكَindeed, you لَنْnever تَسْتَطِیْعَwill be able مَعِیَwith me صَبْرًا(to have) patience ۟(72) قَالَHe said لَا(Do) not تُؤَاخِذْنِیْblame me بِمَاfor what نَسِیْتُI forgot وَلَاand (do) not تُرْهِقْنِیْbe hard (upon) me مِنْin اَمْرِیْmy affair عُسْرًا(raising) difficulty ۟(73) فَانْطَلَقَا ۥThen they both set out حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen لَقِیَاthey met غُلٰمًاa boy فَقَتَلَهٗ ۙthen he killed him قَالَHe said اَقَتَلْتَHave you killed نَفْسًاa soul زَكِیَّةًpure بِغَیْرِfor other than نَفْسٍ ؕa soul لَقَدْCertainly جِئْتَyou have done شَیْـًٔاa thing نُّكْرًاevil ۟(74) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 301 - Juz 15 قَالَHe said اَلَمْDid not اَقُلْI say لَّكَto you اِنَّكَthat you لَنْnever تَسْتَطِیْعَwill be able مَعِیَwith me صَبْرًا(to have) patience ۟(75) قَالَHe said اِنْIf سَاَلْتُكَI ask you عَنْabout شَیْءٍanything بَعْدَهَاafter it فَلَاthen (do) not تُصٰحِبْنِیْ ۚkeep me as a companion قَدْVerily بَلَغْتَyou have reached مِنْfrom me لَّدُنِّیْfrom me عُذْرًاan excuse ۟(76) فَانْطَلَقَا ۥSo they set out حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاۤwhen اَتَیَاۤthey came اَهْلَ(to the) people قَرْیَةِ(of) a town سْتَطْعَمَاۤthey asked for food اَهْلَهَا(from) its people فَاَبَوْاbut they refused اَنْto یُّضَیِّفُوْهُمَاoffer them hospitality فَوَجَدَاThen they found فِیْهَاin it جِدَارًاa wall یُّرِیْدُ(that) want(ed) اَنْto یَّنْقَضَّcollapse فَاَقَامَهٗ ؕso he set it straight قَالَHe said لَوْIf شِئْتَyou wished لَتَّخَذْتَsurely you (could) have taken عَلَیْهِfor it اَجْرًاa payment ۟(77) قَالَHe said هٰذَاThis فِرَاقُ(is) parting بَیْنِیْbetween me وَبَیْنِكَ ۚand between you سَاُنَبِّئُكَI will inform you بِتَاْوِیْلِof (the) interpretation مَا(of) what لَمْnot تَسْتَطِعْyou were able عَّلَیْهِon it صَبْرًا(to have) patience ۟(78) اَمَّاAs for السَّفِیْنَةُthe ship فَكَانَتْit was لِمَسٰكِیْنَof (the) poor people یَعْمَلُوْنَworking فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea فَاَرَدْتُّSo I intended اَنْthat اَعِیْبَهَاI cause defect (in) it وَكَانَ(as there) was وَرَآءَهُمْafter them مَّلِكٌa king یَّاْخُذُwho seized كُلَّevery سَفِیْنَةٍship غَصْبًا(by) force ۟(79) وَاَمَّاAnd as for الْغُلٰمُthe boy فَكَانَhis parents were اَبَوٰهُhis parents were مُؤْمِنَیْنِbelievers فَخَشِیْنَاۤand we feared اَنْthat یُّرْهِقَهُمَاhe would overburden them طُغْیَانًا(by) transgression وَّكُفْرًاand disbelief ۟ۚ(80) فَاَرَدْنَاۤSo we intended اَنْthat یُّبْدِلَهُمَاwould change for them رَبُّهُمَاtheir Lord خَیْرًاa better مِّنْهُthan him زَكٰوةً(in) purity وَّاَقْرَبَand nearer رُحْمًا(in) affection ۟(81) وَاَمَّاAnd as for الْجِدَارُthe wall فَكَانَit was لِغُلٰمَیْنِfor two orphan boys یَتِیْمَیْنِfor two orphan boys فِیin الْمَدِیْنَةِthe town وَكَانَand was تَحْتَهٗunderneath it كَنْزٌa treasure لَّهُمَاfor them وَكَانَand was اَبُوْهُمَاtheir father صَالِحًا ۚrighteous فَاَرَادَSo intended رَبُّكَyour Lord اَنْthat یَّبْلُغَاۤthey reach اَشُدَّهُمَاtheir maturity وَیَسْتَخْرِجَاand bring forth كَنْزَهُمَا ۖۗtheir treasure رَحْمَةً(as) a mercy مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ۚyour Lord وَمَاAnd not فَعَلْتُهٗI did it عَنْon اَمْرِیْ ؕmy (own) accord ذٰلِكَThat تَاْوِیْلُ(is the) interpretation مَا(of) what لَمْnot تَسْطِعْyou were able عَّلَیْهِon it صَبْرًا(to have) patience ۟ؕ۠(82) وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you عَنْabout ذِیDhul-qarnain الْقَرْنَیْنِ ؕDhul-qarnain قُلْSay سَاَتْلُوْاI will recite عَلَیْكُمْto you مِّنْهُabout him ذِكْرًاa remembrance ۟ؕ(83) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 302 - Juz 16 اِنَّاIndeed, We مَكَّنَّا[We] established لَهٗ[for] him فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَاٰتَیْنٰهُand We gave him مِنْof كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing سَبَبًاa means ۟ۙ(84) فَاَتْبَعَSo he followed سَبَبًاa course ۟(85) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen بَلَغَhe reached مَغْرِبَ(the) setting place الشَّمْسِ(of) the sun وَجَدَهَاhe found it تَغْرُبُsetting فِیْin عَیْنٍa spring حَمِئَةٍ(of) dark mud وَّوَجَدَand he found عِنْدَهَاnear it قَوْمًا ؕ۬a community قُلْنَاWe said یٰذَاO Dhul-qarnain الْقَرْنَیْنِO Dhul-qarnain اِمَّاۤEither اَنْ[that] تُعَذِّبَyou punish وَاِمَّاۤor اَنْ[that] تَتَّخِذَyou take فِیْهِمْ[in] them حُسْنًا(with) goodness ۟(86) قَالَHe said اَمَّاAs for مَنْ(one) who ظَلَمَwrongs فَسَوْفَthen soon نُعَذِّبُهٗwe will punish him ثُمَّThen یُرَدُّhe will be returned اِلٰیto رَبِّهٖhis Lord فَیُعَذِّبُهٗand He will punish him عَذَابًا(with) a punishment نُّكْرًاterrible ۟(87) وَاَمَّاBut as for مَنْ(one) who اٰمَنَbelieves وَعَمِلَand does صَالِحًاrighteous (deeds) فَلَهٗthen for him جَزَآءَ(is) a reward لْحُسْنٰی ۚgood وَسَنَقُوْلُAnd we will speak لَهٗto him مِنْfrom اَمْرِنَاour command یُسْرًا(with) ease ۟ؕ(88) ثُمَّThen اَتْبَعَhe followed سَبَبًا(a) course ۟(89) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen بَلَغَhe reached مَطْلِعَ(the) rising place الشَّمْسِ(of) the sun وَجَدَهَاand he found it تَطْلُعُrising عَلٰیon قَوْمٍa community لَّمْnot نَجْعَلْWe made لَّهُمْfor them مِّنْagainst it دُوْنِهَاagainst it سِتْرًاany shelter ۟ۙ(90) كَذٰلِكَ ؕThus وَقَدْAnd verily اَحَطْنَاWe encompassed بِمَاof what لَدَیْهِ(was) with him خُبْرًا(of the) information ۟(91) ثُمَّThen اَتْبَعَhe followed سَبَبًاa course ۟(92) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen بَلَغَhe reached بَیْنَbetween السَّدَّیْنِthe two mountains وَجَدَhe found مِنْbesides them دُوْنِهِمَاbesides them قَوْمًا ۙa community لَّاnot یَكَادُوْنَwho would almost یَفْقَهُوْنَunderstand قَوْلًا(his) speech ۟(93) قَالُوْاThey said یٰذَاO Dhul-qarnain الْقَرْنَیْنِO Dhul-qarnain اِنَّIndeed یَاْجُوْجَYajuj وَمَاْجُوْجَand Majuj مُفْسِدُوْنَ(are) corrupters فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land فَهَلْSo may نَجْعَلُwe make لَكَfor you خَرْجًاan expenditure عَلٰۤی[on] اَنْthat تَجْعَلَyou make بَیْنَنَاbetween us وَبَیْنَهُمْand between them سَدًّاa barrier ۟(94) قَالَHe said مَاWhat مَكَّنِّیْhas established me فِیْهِ[in it] رَبِّیْmy Lord خَیْرٌ(is) better فَاَعِیْنُوْنِیْbut assist me بِقُوَّةٍwith strength اَجْعَلْI will make بَیْنَكُمْbetween you وَبَیْنَهُمْand between them رَدْمًاa barrier ۟ۙ(95) اٰتُوْنِیْBring me زُبَرَsheets الْحَدِیْدِ ؕ(of) iron حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen سَاوٰیhe (had) leveled بَیْنَbetween الصَّدَفَیْنِthe two cliffs قَالَhe said انْفُخُوْا ؕBlow حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen جَعَلَهٗhe made it نَارًا ۙfire قَالَhe said اٰتُوْنِیْۤBring me اُفْرِغْI pour عَلَیْهِover it قِطْرًاmolten copper ۟ؕ(96) فَمَاSo not اسْطَاعُوْۤاthey were able اَنْto یَّظْهَرُوْهُscale it وَمَاand not اسْتَطَاعُوْاthey were able لَهٗin it نَقْبًا(to do) any penetration ۟(97) Surah 18. Al-Kahf - Page 303 - Juz 16 قَالَHe said هٰذَاThis رَحْمَةٌ(is) a mercy مِّنْfrom رَّبِّیْ ۚmy Lord فَاِذَاBut when جَآءَcomes وَعْدُ(the) Promise رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord جَعَلَهٗHe will make it دَكَّآءَ ۚlevel وَكَانَAnd is وَعْدُ(the) Promise رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord حَقًّاtrue ۟ؕ(98) وَتَرَكْنَاAnd We (will) leave بَعْضَهُمْsome of them یَوْمَىِٕذٍ(on) that Day یَّمُوْجُto surge فِیْover بَعْضٍothers وَّنُفِخَand (will be) blown فِیin الصُّوْرِthe trumpet فَجَمَعْنٰهُمْthen We (will) gather them جَمْعًاall together ۟ۙ(99) وَّعَرَضْنَاAnd We (will) present جَهَنَّمَHell یَوْمَىِٕذٍ(on) that Day لِّلْكٰفِرِیْنَto the disbelievers عَرْضَا(on) display ۟ۙ(100) لَّذِیْنَThose كَانَتْhad been اَعْیُنُهُمْtheir eyes فِیْwithin غِطَآءٍa cover عَنْfrom ذِكْرِیْMy remembrance وَكَانُوْاand were لَاnot یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَable سَمْعًا(to) hear ۟۠(101) اَفَحَسِبَDo then think الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve اَنْthat یَّتَّخِذُوْاthey (can) take عِبَادِیْMy servants مِنْbesides Me دُوْنِیْۤbesides Me اَوْلِیَآءَ ؕ(as) protectors اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَعْتَدْنَاWe have prepared جَهَنَّمَHell لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَfor the disbelievers نُزُلًا(as) a lodging ۟(102) قُلْSay هَلْShall نُنَبِّئُكُمْWe inform you بِالْاَخْسَرِیْنَof the greatest losers اَعْمَالًا(as to their) deeds ۟ؕ(103) اَلَّذِیْنَThose ضَلَّis lost سَعْیُهُمْtheir effort فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَهُمْwhile they یَحْسَبُوْنَthink اَنَّهُمْthat they یُحْسِنُوْنَ(were) acquiring good صُنْعًا(in) work ۟(104) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin the Verses رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَلِقَآىِٕهٖand the meeting (with) Him فَحَبِطَتْSo (are) vain اَعْمَالُهُمْtheir deeds فَلَاso not نُقِیْمُWe will assign لَهُمْfor them یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection وَزْنًاany weight ۟(105) ذٰلِكَThat جَزَآؤُهُمْ(is) their recompense جَهَنَّمُHell بِمَاbecause كَفَرُوْاthey disbelieved وَاتَّخَذُوْۤاand took اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses وَرُسُلِیْand My Messengers هُزُوًا(in) ridicule ۟(106) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds كَانَتْfor them will be لَهُمْfor them will be جَنّٰتُGardens الْفِرْدَوْسِ(of) the Paradise نُزُلًا(as) a lodging ۟ۙ(107) خٰلِدِیْنَAbiding forever فِیْهَاin it لَاNot یَبْغُوْنَthey will desire عَنْهَاfrom it حِوَلًاany transfer ۟(108) قُلْSay لَّوْIf كَانَwere الْبَحْرُthe sea مِدَادًاink لِّكَلِمٰتِfor (the) Words رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord لَنَفِدَsurely (would be) exhausted الْبَحْرُthe sea قَبْلَbefore اَنْ[that] تَنْفَدَ(were) exhausted كَلِمٰتُ(the) Words رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَلَوْeven if جِئْنَاWe brought بِمِثْلِهٖ(the) like (of) it مَدَدًا(as) a supplement ۟(109) قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنَاI بَشَرٌ(am) a man مِّثْلُكُمْlike you یُوْحٰۤیHas been revealed اِلَیَّto me اَنَّمَاۤthat اِلٰهُكُمْyour God اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌ ۚOne فَمَنْSo whoever كَانَis یَرْجُوْاhoping لِقَآءَ(for the) meeting رَبِّهٖ(with) his Lord فَلْیَعْمَلْlet him do عَمَلًاdeeds صَالِحًاrighteous وَّلَاand not یُشْرِكْassociate بِعِبَادَةِin (the) worship رَبِّهٖۤ(of) his Lord اَحَدًاanyone ۟۠(110) Surah 18.
