Surah 15 Al-Hijr, Ayat 74-74
فَجَعَلۡنَا عَالِيـَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَ اَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةً مِّنۡ سِجِّيۡلٍؕ
﴿15:74﴾
(15:74) and turned the land upside down, and rained down stones of baked
clay.41
Notes
41. These “stones of baked clay” might have been meteoric showers or volcanic
eruptions that flew and rained upon them, or these might have been blown by
a strong wind.
