Surah 1. Al-Fatihah (The Opener) V7 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ اَلْحَمْدُAll praises and thanks لِلّٰهِ(be) to Allah رَبِّthe Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَof the universe ۟ۙ(2) الرَّحْمٰنِThe Most Gracious الرَّحِیْمِthe Most Merciful ۟ۙ(3) مٰلِكِ(The) Master یَوْمِ(of the) Day الدِّیْنِ(of the) Judgment ۟ؕ(4) اِیَّاكَYou Alone نَعْبُدُwe worship وَاِیَّاكَand You Alone نَسْتَعِیْنُwe ask for help ۟ؕ(5) اِهْدِنَاGuide us الصِّرَاطَ(to) the path الْمُسْتَقِیْمَthe straight ۟ۙ(6) صِرَاطَ(The) path الَّذِیْنَ(of) those اَنْعَمْتَYou have bestowed (Your) Favors عَلَیْهِمْ ۙ۬ۦon them غَیْرِnot (of) الْمَغْضُوْبِthose who earned (Your) wrath عَلَیْهِمْon themselves وَلَاand not الضَّآلِّیْنَ(of) those who go astray ۟۠(7) 1. Al-Fatihah - Page 1 - Juz 1 Surah 2. Al-Baqarah (The Cow) V286 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓمّٓAlif Laam Meem ۟ۚ(1) ذٰلِكَThat الْكِتٰبُ(is) the book لَاno رَیْبَ ۛۖۚdoubt فِیْهِ ۛۚin it هُدًیa Guidance لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَfor the God-conscious ۟ۙ(2) الَّذِیْنَThose who یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْغَیْبِin the unseen وَیُقِیْمُوْنَand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَمِمَّاand out of what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend ۟ۙ(3) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِمَاۤin what اُنْزِلَ(is) sent down اِلَیْكَto you وَمَاۤand what اُنْزِلَwas sent down مِنْfrom قَبْلِكَ ۚbefore you وَبِالْاٰخِرَةِand in the Hereafter هُمْthey یُوْقِنُوْنَfirmly believe ۟ؕ(4) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose عَلٰی(are) on هُدًیGuidance مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْ ۗtheir Lord وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those هُمُthey الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ(are) the successful ones ۟(5) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 2 - Juz 1 اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve[d] سَوَآءٌ(it) is same عَلَیْهِمْto them ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْwhether you warn them اَمْor لَمْnot تُنْذِرْهُمْyou warn them لَاnot یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe ۟(6) خَتَمَHas set a seal اللّٰهُAllah عَلٰیon قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts وَعَلٰیand on سَمْعِهِمْ ؕtheir hearing وَعَلٰۤیand on اَبْصَارِهِمْtheir vision غِشَاوَةٌ ؗ(is) a veil وَّلَهُمْAnd for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟۠(7) وَمِنَAnd of النَّاسِthe people مَنْ(are some) who یَّقُوْلُsay اٰمَنَّاWe believed بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَبِالْیَوْمِand in the Day الْاٰخِرِ[the] Last وَمَاbut not هُمْthey بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(are) believers (at all) ۟ۘ(8) یُخٰدِعُوْنَThey seek to deceive اللّٰهَAllah وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْا ۚbelieve[d] وَمَاand not یَخْدَعُوْنَthey deceive اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves وَمَاand not یَشْعُرُوْنَthey realize (it) ۟ؕ(9) فِیْIn قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts مَّرَضٌ ۙ(is) a disease فَزَادَهُمُso has increased them اللّٰهُAllah مَرَضًا ۚ(in) disease وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌ ۙ۬۟ painful بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْذِبُوْنَ[they] lie ۟(10) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُمْto them لَا(Do) not تُفْسِدُوْاspread corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۙthe earth قَالُوْۤاthey say اِنَّمَاOnly نَحْنُwe مُصْلِحُوْنَ(are) reformers ۟(11) اَلَاۤBeware اِنَّهُمْindeed they هُمُthemselves الْمُفْسِدُوْنَ(are) the ones who spread corruption وَلٰكِنْ[and] but لَّاnot یَشْعُرُوْنَthey realize (it) ۟(12) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُمْto them اٰمِنُوْاBelieve كَمَاۤas اٰمَنَbelieved النَّاسُthe people قَالُوْۤاthey say اَنُؤْمِنُShould we believe كَمَاۤas اٰمَنَbelieved السُّفَهَآءُ ؕthe fools اَلَاۤBeware اِنَّهُمْcertainly they هُمُthemselves السُّفَهَآءُ(are) the fools وَلٰكِنْ[and] but لَّاnot یَعْلَمُوْنَthey know ۟(13) وَاِذَاAnd when لَقُواthey meet الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] قَالُوْۤاthey say اٰمَنَّا ۖۚWe believe[d] وَاِذَاBut when خَلَوْاthey are alone اِلٰیwith شَیٰطِیْنِهِمْ ۙtheir evil ones قَالُوْۤاthey say اِنَّاIndeed, we مَعَكُمْ ۙ(are) with you اِنَّمَاonly نَحْنُwe مُسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(are) mockers ۟(14) اَللّٰهُAllah یَسْتَهْزِئُmocks بِهِمْat them وَیَمُدُّهُمْand prolongs them فِیْin طُغْیَانِهِمْtheir transgression یَعْمَهُوْنَthey wander blindly ۟(15) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who اشْتَرَوُاbought الضَّلٰلَةَ[the] astraying بِالْهُدٰی ۪for [the] guidance فَمَاSo not رَبِحَتْprofited تِّجَارَتُهُمْtheir commerce وَمَاand not كَانُوْاwere they مُهْتَدِیْنَguided-ones ۟(16) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 3 - Juz 1 مَثَلُهُمْTheir example كَمَثَلِ(is) like (the) example الَّذِی(of) the one who اسْتَوْقَدَkindled نَارًا ۚa fire فَلَمَّاۤthen, when اَضَآءَتْit illuminated مَاwhat حَوْلَهٗ(was) around him ذَهَبَtook away اللّٰهُAllah بِنُوْرِهِمْtheir light وَتَرَكَهُمْand left them فِیْin ظُلُمٰتٍdarkness[es] لَّا(so) not یُبْصِرُوْنَ(do) they see ۟(17) صُمٌّۢDeaf بُكْمٌdumb عُمْیٌblind فَهُمْso they لَاnot یَرْجِعُوْنَ[they] will not return ۟ۙ(18) اَوْOr كَصَیِّبٍlike a rainstorm مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky فِیْهِin it (are) ظُلُمٰتٌdarkness[es] وَّرَعْدٌand thunder وَّبَرْقٌ ۚand lightning یَجْعَلُوْنَThey put اَصَابِعَهُمْtheir fingers فِیْۤin اٰذَانِهِمْtheir ears مِّنَfrom الصَّوَاعِقِthe thunderclaps حَذَرَ(in) fear (of) الْمَوْتِ ؕ[the] death وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah مُحِیْطٌ(is) [the One Who] encompasses بِالْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(19) یَكَادُAlmost الْبَرْقُthe lightning یَخْطَفُsnatches away اَبْصَارَهُمْ ؕtheir sight كُلَّمَاۤWhenever اَضَآءَit flashes لَهُمْfor them مَّشَوْاthey walk فِیْهِ ۙۗin it وَاِذَاۤand when اَظْلَمَit darkens عَلَیْهِمْon them قَامُوْا ؕthey stand (still) وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَhad willed اللّٰهُAllah لَذَهَبَHe would certainly have taken away بِسَمْعِهِمْtheir hearing وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ؕand their sight اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟۠(20) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّاسُmankind اعْبُدُوْاworship رَبَّكُمُyour Lord الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَكُمْcreated you وَالَّذِیْنَand those مِنْfrom قَبْلِكُمْbefore you لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَتَّقُوْنَbecome righteous ۟ۙ(21) الَّذِیْThe One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الْاَرْضَthe earth فِرَاشًاa resting place وَّالسَّمَآءَand the sky بِنَآءً ۪a canopy وَّاَنْزَلَand sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَاَخْرَجَthen brought forth بِهٖtherewith مِنَ[of] الثَّمَرٰتِthe fruits رِزْقًا(as) provision لَّكُمْ ۚfor you فَلَاSo (do) not تَجْعَلُوْاset up لِلّٰهِto Allah اَنْدَادًاrivals وَّاَنْتُمْwhile you تَعْلَمُوْنَ[you] know ۟(22) وَاِنْAnd if كُنْتُمْyou are فِیْin رَیْبٍdoubt مِّمَّاabout what نَزَّلْنَاWe have revealed عَلٰیto عَبْدِنَاOur slave فَاْتُوْاthen produce بِسُوْرَةٍa chapter مِّنْ[of] مِّثْلِهٖ ۪like it وَادْعُوْاand call شُهَدَآءَكُمْyour witnesses مِّنْfrom دُوْنِother than اللّٰهِAllah اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(23) فَاِنْBut if لَّمْnot تَفْعَلُوْاyou do وَلَنْand never تَفْعَلُوْاwill you do فَاتَّقُواthen fear النَّارَthe Fire الَّتِیْwhose وَقُوْدُهَا[its] fuel النَّاسُ(is) [the] men وَالْحِجَارَةُ ۖۚand [the] stones اُعِدَّتْprepared لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَfor the disbelievers ۟(24) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 4 - Juz 1 وَبَشِّرِAnd give good news الَّذِیْنَ(to) those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِ[the] righteous deeds اَنَّthat لَهُمْfor them جَنّٰتٍ(will be) Gardens تَجْرِیْflow مِنْ[from] تَحْتِهَاunder them الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕthe rivers كُلَّمَاEvery time رُزِقُوْاthey are provided مِنْهَاtherefrom مِنْof ثَمَرَةٍfruit رِّزْقًا ۙ(as) provision قَالُوْاthey (will) say هٰذَاThis (is) الَّذِیْthe one which رُزِقْنَاwe were provided مِنْfrom قَبْلُ ۙbefore وَاُتُوْاAnd they will be given بِهٖtherefrom مُتَشَابِهًا ؕ(things) in resemblance وَلَهُمْAnd for them فِیْهَاۤtherein اَزْوَاجٌspouses مُّطَهَّرَةٌ ۙۗpurified وَّهُمْand they فِیْهَاtherein خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(25) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(is) not یَسْتَحْیٖۤashamed اَنْto یَّضْرِبَset forth مَثَلًاan example مَّا(like) even بَعُوْضَةً(of) a mosquito فَمَاand (even) something فَوْقَهَا ؕabove it فَاَمَّاThen as for الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved فَیَعْلَمُوْنَ[thus] they will know اَنَّهُthat it الْحَقُّ(is) the truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord وَاَمَّاAnd as for الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved فَیَقُوْلُوْنَ[thus] they will say مَاذَاۤwhat اَرَادَ(did) intend اللّٰهُAllah بِهٰذَاby this مَثَلًا ۘexample یُضِلُّHe lets go astray بِهٖby it كَثِیْرًا ۙmany وَّیَهْدِیْand He guides بِهٖby it كَثِیْرًا ؕmany وَمَاAnd not یُضِلُّHe lets go astray بِهٖۤby it اِلَّاexcept الْفٰسِقِیْنَthe defiantly disobedient ۟ۙ(26) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَنْقُضُوْنَbreak عَهْدَ(the) Covenant اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مِیْثَاقِهٖ ۪its ratification وَیَقْطَعُوْنَand [they] cut مَاۤwhat اَمَرَhas ordered اللّٰهُAllah بِهٖۤit اَنْto یُّوْصَلَbe joined وَیُفْسِدُوْنَand [they] spread corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose هُمُthey الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟(27) كَیْفَHow تَكْفُرُوْنَ(can) you disbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَكُنْتُمْWhile you were اَمْوَاتًاdead فَاَحْیَاكُمْ ۚthen He gave you life ثُمَّthen یُمِیْتُكُمْHe will cause you to die ثُمَّthen یُحْیِیْكُمْHe will give you life ثُمَّthen اِلَیْهِto Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(28) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَcreated لَكُمْfor you مَّاwhat فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًا ۗall ثُمَّMoreover اسْتَوٰۤیHe turned اِلَیto السَّمَآءِthe heaven فَسَوّٰىهُنَّand fashioned them سَبْعَseven سَمٰوٰتٍ ؕheavens وَهُوَAnd He بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knowing ۟۠(29) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 5 - Juz 1 وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid رَبُّكَyour Lord لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the angels اِنِّیْIndeed, I (am) جَاعِلٌgoing to place فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth خَلِیْفَةً ؕa vicegerent قَالُوْۤاthey said اَتَجْعَلُWill You place فِیْهَاin it مَنْ(one) who یُّفْسِدُwill spread corruption فِیْهَاin it وَیَسْفِكُand will shed الدِّمَآءَ ۚ[the] blood[s] وَنَحْنُwhile we نُسَبِّحُ[we] glorify (You) بِحَمْدِكَwith Your praises وَنُقَدِّسُand we sanctify لَكَ ؕ[to] You قَالَHe said اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَعْلَمُ[I] know مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(30) وَعَلَّمَAnd He taught اٰدَمَAdam الْاَسْمَآءَthe names كُلَّهَاall of them ثُمَّThen عَرَضَهُمْHe displayed them عَلَیto الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِ ۙthe angels فَقَالَthen He said اَنْۢبِـُٔوْنِیْInform Me بِاَسْمَآءِof (the) names هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(of) these اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(31) قَالُوْاThey said سُبْحٰنَكَGlory be to You لَاNo عِلْمَknowledge لَنَاۤ(is) for us اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat عَلَّمْتَنَا ؕYou have taught us اِنَّكَIndeed You اَنْتَYou الْعَلِیْمُ(are) the All-Knowing الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟(32) قَالَHe said یٰۤاٰدَمُO Adam اَنْۢبِئْهُمْInform them بِاَسْمَآىِٕهِمْ ۚof their names فَلَمَّاۤAnd when اَنْۢبَاَهُمْhe had informed them بِاَسْمَآىِٕهِمْ ۙof their names قَالَHe said اَلَمْDid not اَقُلْI say لَّكُمْto you اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَعْلَمُ[I] know غَیْبَ(the) unseen السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ۙand the earth وَاَعْلَمُand I know مَاwhat تُبْدُوْنَyou reveal وَمَاand what كُنْتُمْyou [were] تَكْتُمُوْنَconceal ۟(33) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the angels اسْجُدُوْاProstrate لِاٰدَمَto Adam فَسَجَدُوْۤا[so] they prostrated اِلَّاۤexcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis اَبٰیHe refused وَاسْتَكْبَرَ ؗۗand was arrogant وَكَانَand became مِنَof الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(34) وَقُلْنَاAnd We said یٰۤاٰدَمُO Adam اسْكُنْDwell اَنْتَyou وَزَوْجُكَand your spouse الْجَنَّةَ(in) Paradise وَكُلَاand [you both] eat مِنْهَاfrom it رَغَدًاfreely حَیْثُ(from) wherever شِئْتُمَا ۪you [both] wish وَلَاBut do not تَقْرَبَا[you two] approach هٰذِهِthis الشَّجَرَةَ[the] tree فَتَكُوْنَاlest you [both] be مِنَof الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(35) فَاَزَلَّهُمَاThen made [both of] them slip الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan عَنْهَاfrom it فَاَخْرَجَهُمَاand he got [both of] them out مِمَّاfrom what كَانَاthey [both] were فِیْهِ ۪in [it] وَقُلْنَاAnd We said اهْبِطُوْاGo down (all of you) بَعْضُكُمْsome of you لِبَعْضٍto others عَدُوٌّ ۚ(as) enemy وَلَكُمْand for you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مُسْتَقَرٌّ(is) a dwelling place وَّمَتَاعٌand a provision اِلٰیfor حِیْنٍa period ۟(36) فَتَلَقّٰۤیThen received اٰدَمُAdam مِنْfrom رَّبِّهٖhis Lord كَلِمٰتٍwords فَتَابَSo (his Lord) turned عَلَیْهِ ؕtowards him اِنَّهٗIndeed He هُوَHe التَّوَّابُ(is) the Oft-returning (to mercy) الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(37) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 6 - Juz 1 قُلْنَاWe said اهْبِطُوْاGo down مِنْهَاfrom it جَمِیْعًا ۚall (of you) فَاِمَّاand when یَاْتِیَنَّكُمْcomes to you مِّنِّیْfrom Me هُدًیGuidance فَمَنْthen whoever تَبِعَfollows هُدَایَMy Guidance فَلَا[then] no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْ(will be) on them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(38) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those كَفَرُوْاwho disbelieve[d] وَكَذَّبُوْاand deny بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤOur Signs اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟۠(39) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel اذْكُرُوْاRemember نِعْمَتِیَMy Favor الَّتِیْۤwhich اَنْعَمْتُI bestowed عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَاَوْفُوْاand fulfill بِعَهْدِیْۤMy Covenant اُوْفِI will fulfill بِعَهْدِكُمْ ۚyour covenant وَاِیَّایَand Me Alone فَارْهَبُوْنِfear [Me] ۟(40) وَاٰمِنُوْاAnd believe بِمَاۤin what اَنْزَلْتُI have sent down مُصَدِّقًاconfirming لِّمَاthat which مَعَكُمْ(is) with you وَلَاand (do) not تَكُوْنُوْۤاbe اَوَّلَ(the) first كَافِرٍۭdisbeliever بِهٖ ۪of it وَلَاAnd (do) not تَشْتَرُوْاexchange بِاٰیٰتِیْMy Signs (for) ثَمَنًاa price قَلِیْلًا ؗsmall وَّاِیَّایَand Me Alone فَاتَّقُوْنِfear [Me] ۟(41) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَلْبِسُواmix الْحَقَّthe Truth بِالْبَاطِلِwith [the] falsehood وَتَكْتُمُواand conceal الْحَقَّthe Truth وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَعْلَمُوْنَ[you] know ۟(42) وَاَقِیْمُواAnd establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتُواand give الزَّكٰوةَzakah وَارْكَعُوْاand bow down مَعَwith الرّٰكِعِیْنَthose who bow down ۟(43) اَتَاْمُرُوْنَDo you order النَّاسَ[the] people بِالْبِرِّ[the] righteousness وَتَنْسَوْنَand you forget اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَتْلُوْنَ[you] recite الْكِتٰبَ ؕthe Book اَفَلَاThen, will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟(44) وَاسْتَعِیْنُوْاAnd seek help بِالصَّبْرِthrough patience وَالصَّلٰوةِ ؕand the prayer وَاِنَّهَاand indeed, it لَكَبِیْرَةٌ(is) surely difficult اِلَّاexcept عَلَیon الْخٰشِعِیْنَthe humble ones ۟ۙ(45) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَظُنُّوْنَbelieve اَنَّهُمْthat they مُّلٰقُوْاwill meet رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَاَنَّهُمْand that they اِلَیْهِto Him رٰجِعُوْنَwill return ۟۠(46) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel اذْكُرُوْاRemember نِعْمَتِیَMy Favor الَّتِیْۤwhich اَنْعَمْتُI bestowed عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَاَنِّیْand that I فَضَّلْتُكُمْ[I] preferred you عَلَیover الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟(47) وَاتَّقُوْاAnd fear یَوْمًاa day لَّا(will) not تَجْزِیْavail نَفْسٌany soul عَنْfor نَّفْسٍ(another) soul شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not یُقْبَلُwill be accepted مِنْهَاfrom it شَفَاعَةٌany intercession وَّلَاand not یُؤْخَذُwill be taken مِنْهَاfrom it عَدْلٌa compensation وَّلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟(48) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 7 - Juz 1 وَاِذْAnd when نَجَّیْنٰكُمْWe saved you مِّنْfrom اٰلِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun یَسُوْمُوْنَكُمْ(who were) afflicting you (with) سُوْٓءَhorrible الْعَذَابِtorment یُذَبِّحُوْنَslaughtering اَبْنَآءَكُمْyour sons وَیَسْتَحْیُوْنَand letting live نِسَآءَكُمْ ؕyour women وَفِیْAnd in ذٰلِكُمْthat بَلَآءٌ(was) a trial مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(49) وَاِذْAnd when فَرَقْنَاWe parted بِكُمُfor you الْبَحْرَthe sea فَاَنْجَیْنٰكُمْthen We saved you وَاَغْرَقْنَاۤand We drowned اٰلَ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَنْظُرُوْنَ(were) looking ۟(50) وَاِذْAnd when وٰعَدْنَاWe appointed مُوْسٰۤی(for) Musa اَرْبَعِیْنَforty لَیْلَةًnights ثُمَّThen اتَّخَذْتُمُyou took الْعِجْلَthe calf مِنْfrom بَعْدِهٖafter him وَاَنْتُمْand you ظٰلِمُوْنَ(were) wrongdoers ۟(51) ثُمَّThen عَفَوْنَاWe forgave عَنْكُمْyou مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَ(be) grateful ۟(52) وَاِذْAnd when اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَالْفُرْقَانَand the Criterion لَعَلَّكُمْperhaps you تَهْتَدُوْنَ(would be) guided ۟(53) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid مُوْسٰیMusa لِقَوْمِهٖto his people یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you ظَلَمْتُمْ[you] have wronged اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُby your taking الْعِجْلَthe calf فَتُوْبُوْۤاSo turn in repentance اِلٰیto بَارِىِٕكُمْyour Creator فَاقْتُلُوْۤاand kill اَنْفُسَكُمْ ؕyourselves ذٰلِكُمْThat خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْfor you عِنْدَwith بَارِىِٕكُمْ ؕyour Creator فَتَابَThen He turned عَلَیْكُمْ ؕtowards you اِنَّهٗIndeed He هُوَHe التَّوَّابُ(is) the-returning الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(54) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْتُمْyou said یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa لَنْNever نُّؤْمِنَ(will) we believe لَكَin you حَتّٰیuntil نَرَیwe see اللّٰهَAllah جَهْرَةًmanifestly فَاَخَذَتْكُمُSo seized you الصّٰعِقَةُthe thunderbolt وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَنْظُرُوْنَ(were) looking ۟(55) ثُمَّThen بَعَثْنٰكُمْWe revived you مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَوْتِكُمْyour death لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَ(be) grateful ۟(56) وَظَلَّلْنَاAnd We shaded عَلَیْكُمُ[over] you الْغَمَامَ(with) [the] clouds وَاَنْزَلْنَاand We sent down عَلَیْكُمُto you الْمَنَّ[the] manna وَالسَّلْوٰی ؕand [the] quails كُلُوْاEat مِنْfrom طَیِّبٰتِ(the) good things مَاthat رَزَقْنٰكُمْ ؕWe have provided you وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمُوْنَاthey wronged Us وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْۤاthey were اَنْفُسَهُمْ(to) themselves یَظْلِمُوْنَdoing wrong ۟(57) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 8 - Juz 1 وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said ادْخُلُوْاEnter هٰذِهِthis الْقَرْیَةَtown فَكُلُوْاthen eat مِنْهَاfrom حَیْثُwherever شِئْتُمْyou wish[ed] رَغَدًاabundantly وَّادْخُلُواand enter الْبَابَthe gate سُجَّدًاprostrating وَّقُوْلُوْاAnd say حِطَّةٌRepentance نَّغْفِرْWe will forgive لَكُمْfor you خَطٰیٰكُمْ ؕyour sins وَسَنَزِیْدُAnd We will increase الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers (in reward) ۟(58) فَبَدَّلَBut changed الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاwronged قَوْلًا(the) word غَیْرَother (than) الَّذِیْ(that) which قِیْلَwas said لَهُمْto them فَاَنْزَلْنَاso We sent down عَلَیupon الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاwronged رِجْزًاa punishment مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey were یَفْسُقُوْنَdefiantly disobeying ۟۠(59) وَاِذِAnd when اسْتَسْقٰیasked (for) water مُوْسٰیMusa لِقَوْمِهٖfor his people فَقُلْنَا[so] We said اضْرِبْStrike بِّعَصَاكَwith your staff الْحَجَرَ ؕthe stone فَانْفَجَرَتْThen gushed forth مِنْهُfrom it اثْنَتَا(of) عَشْرَةَtwelve عَیْنًا ؕsprings قَدْIndeed عَلِمَknew كُلُّall اُنَاسٍ(the) people مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ؕtheir drinking place كُلُوْاEat وَاشْرَبُوْاand drink مِنْfrom رِّزْقِ(the) provision (of) اللّٰهِAllah وَلَاand (do) not تَعْثَوْاact wickedly فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مُفْسِدِیْنَspreading corruption ۟(60) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْتُمْyou said یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa لَنْNever (will) نَّصْبِرَwe endure عَلٰی[on] طَعَامٍfood وَّاحِدٍ(of) one (kind) فَادْعُso pray لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَ(to) your Lord یُخْرِجْto bring forth لَنَاfor us مِمَّاout of what تُنْۢبِتُgrows الْاَرْضُthe earth مِنْof بَقْلِهَاits herbs وَقِثَّآىِٕهَا[and] its cucumbers وَفُوْمِهَا[and] its garlic وَعَدَسِهَا[and] its lentils وَبَصَلِهَا ؕand its onions قَالَHe said اَتَسْتَبْدِلُوْنَWould you exchange الَّذِیْthat which هُوَ[it] اَدْنٰی(is) inferior بِالَّذِیْfor that which هُوَ[it] خَیْرٌ ؕ(is) better اِهْبِطُوْاGo down مِصْرًا(to) a city فَاِنَّso indeed لَكُمْfor you مَّا(is) what سَاَلْتُمْ ؕyou have asked (for) وَضُرِبَتْAnd were struck عَلَیْهِمُon them الذِّلَّةُthe humiliation وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ ۗand the misery وَبَآءُوْand they drew on themselves بِغَضَبٍwrath مِّنَof اللّٰهِ ؕAllah ذٰلِكَThat (was) بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they كَانُوْاused to یَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَیَقْتُلُوْنَand kill النَّبِیّٖنَthe Prophets بِغَیْرِwithout (any) الْحَقِّ ؕ[the] right ذٰلِكَThat بِمَا(was) because عَصَوْاthey disobeyed وَّكَانُوْاand they were یَعْتَدُوْنَtransgressing ۟۠(61) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 9 - Juz 1 اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَالَّذِیْنَand those who هَادُوْاbecame Jews وَالنَّصٰرٰیand the Christians وَالصّٰبِـِٕیْنَand the Sabians مَنْwho اٰمَنَbelieved بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِ[the] Last وَعَمِلَand did صَالِحًاrighteous deeds فَلَهُمْso for them اَجْرُهُمْtheir reward عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّهِمْ ۪ۚtheir Lord وَلَاand no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(62) وَاِذْAnd when اَخَذْنَاWe took مِیْثَاقَكُمْyour covenant وَرَفَعْنَاand We raised فَوْقَكُمُover you الطُّوْرَ ؕthe mount خُذُوْاHold مَاۤwhat اٰتَیْنٰكُمْWe have given you بِقُوَّةٍwith strength وَّاذْكُرُوْاand remember مَاwhat فِیْهِ(is) in it لَعَلَّكُمْperhaps you تَتَّقُوْنَ(would become) righteous ۟(63) ثُمَّThen تَوَلَّیْتُمْyou turned away مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَ ۚthat فَلَوْلَاSo if not فَضْلُ(for the) Grace اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَرَحْمَتُهٗand His Mercy لَكُنْتُمْsurely you would have been مِّنَof الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(64) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed عَلِمْتُمُyou knew الَّذِیْنَthose who اعْتَدَوْاtransgressed مِنْكُمْamong you فِیin السَّبْتِthe (matter of) Sabbath فَقُلْنَاSo We said لَهُمْto them كُوْنُوْاBe قِرَدَةًapes خٰسِـِٕیْنَdespised ۟ۚ(65) فَجَعَلْنٰهَاSo We made it نَكَالًاa deterrent punishment لِّمَاfor those بَیْنَ(in) front یَدَیْهَا(of) them وَمَاand those خَلْفَهَاafter them وَمَوْعِظَةًand an admonition لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَfor those who fear (Allah) ۟(66) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid مُوْسٰیMusa لِقَوْمِهٖۤto his people اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَاْمُرُكُمْcommands you اَنْthat تَذْبَحُوْاyou slaughter بَقَرَةً ؕa cow قَالُوْۤاThey said اَتَتَّخِذُنَاDo you take us هُزُوًا ؕ(in) ridicule قَالَHe said اَعُوْذُI seek refuge بِاللّٰهِin Allah اَنْthat اَكُوْنَI be مِنَamong الْجٰهِلِیْنَthe ignorant ۟(67) قَالُواThey said ادْعُPray لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَ(to) your Lord یُبَیِّنْto make clear لَّنَاto us مَاwhat هِیَ ؕit (is) قَالَHe said اِنَّهٗIndeed, He یَقُوْلُsays اِنَّهَا[Indeed] it بَقَرَةٌ(is) a cow لَّاnot فَارِضٌold وَّلَاand not بِكْرٌ ؕyoung عَوَانٌmiddle aged بَیْنَbetween ذٰلِكَ ؕthat فَافْعَلُوْاso do مَاwhat تُؤْمَرُوْنَyou are commanded ۟(68) قَالُواThey said ادْعُPray لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَ(to) your Lord یُبَیِّنْto make clear لَّنَاto us مَاwhat لَوْنُهَا ؕ(is) its color قَالَHe said اِنَّهٗIndeed, He یَقُوْلُsays اِنَّهَا'[Indeed] it is بَقَرَةٌa cow صَفْرَآءُ ۙyellow فَاقِعٌbright لَّوْنُهَا(in) its color تَسُرُّpleasing النّٰظِرِیْنَ(to) those who see (it).' ۟(69) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 10 - Juz 1 قَالُواThey said ادْعُPray لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَ(to) your Lord یُبَیِّنْto make clear لَّنَاto us مَاwhat هِیَ ۙit (is) اِنَّIndeed الْبَقَرَ[the] cows تَشٰبَهَlook alike عَلَیْنَا ؕto us وَاِنَّاۤAnd indeed we اِنْif شَآءَwills اللّٰهُAllah لَمُهْتَدُوْنَ(will) surely be those who are guided ۟(70) قَالَHe said اِنَّهٗIndeed, He یَقُوْلُsays اِنَّهَا[Indeed] it بَقَرَةٌ(is) a cow لَّاnot ذَلُوْلٌtrained تُثِیْرُto plough الْاَرْضَthe earth وَلَاand not تَسْقِیwater الْحَرْثَ ۚthe field مُسَلَّمَةٌsound لَّاno شِیَةَblemish فِیْهَا ؕin it قَالُواThey said الْـٰٔنَNow جِئْتَyou have come بِالْحَقِّ ؕwith the truth فَذَبَحُوْهَاSo they slaughtered it وَمَاand not كَادُوْاthey were near یَفْعَلُوْنَ(to) doing (it) ۟۠(71) وَاِذْAnd when قَتَلْتُمْyou killed نَفْسًاa man فَادّٰرَءْتُمْthen you disputed فِیْهَا ؕconcerning it وَاللّٰهُbut Allah مُخْرِجٌ(is) the One Who brought forth مَّاwhat كُنْتُمْyou were تَكْتُمُوْنَconcealing ۟ۚ(72) فَقُلْنَاSo We said اضْرِبُوْهُStrike him بِبَعْضِهَا ؕwith a part of it كَذٰلِكَLike this یُحْیِrevives اللّٰهُAllah الْمَوْتٰی ۙthe dead وَیُرِیْكُمْand shows you اٰیٰتِهٖHis Signs لَعَلَّكُمْperhaps you may تَعْقِلُوْنَuse your intellect ۟(73) ثُمَّThen قَسَتْhardened قُلُوْبُكُمْyour hearts مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat فَهِیَso they كَالْحِجَارَةِ(became) like [the] stones اَوْor اَشَدُّstronger قَسْوَةً ؕ(in) hardness وَاِنَّAnd indeed مِنَfrom الْحِجَارَةِthe stones لَمَاcertainly (there are some) which یَتَفَجَّرُgush forth مِنْهُfrom it الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕ[the] rivers وَاِنَّand indeed مِنْهَاfrom them لَمَاcertainly (there are some) which یَشَّقَّقُsplit فَیَخْرُجُso comes out مِنْهُfrom it الْمَآءُ ؕ[the] water وَاِنَّand indeed مِنْهَاfrom them لَمَاcertainly (there are some) which یَهْبِطُfall down مِنْfrom خَشْیَةِfear اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَمَاAnd not اللّٰهُ(is) Allah بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(74) اَفَتَطْمَعُوْنَDo you hope اَنْthat یُّؤْمِنُوْاthey will believe لَكُمْ[for] you وَقَدْwhile indeed كَانَ(there) has been فَرِیْقٌa party مِّنْهُمْof them یَسْمَعُوْنَ(who used to) hear كَلٰمَ(the) words اللّٰهِ(of) Allah ثُمَّthen یُحَرِّفُوْنَهٗthey distort it مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] عَقَلُوْهُthey understood it وَهُمْwhile they یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(75) وَاِذَاAnd when لَقُواthey meet الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] قَالُوْۤاthey say اٰمَنَّا ۖۚWe have believed وَاِذَاBut when خَلَاmeet in private بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اِلٰیwith بَعْضٍsome (others) قَالُوْۤاthey say اَتُحَدِّثُوْنَهُمْDo you tell them بِمَاwhat فَتَحَhas اللّٰهُAllah عَلَیْكُمْto you لِیُحَآجُّوْكُمْso that they argue with you بِهٖtherewith عِنْدَbefore رَبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord اَفَلَاThen do (you) not تَعْقِلُوْنَunderstand ۟(76) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 11 - Juz 1 اَوَلَاDo not یَعْلَمُوْنَthey know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat یُسِرُّوْنَthey conceal وَمَاand what یُعْلِنُوْنَthey declare ۟(77) وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them اُمِّیُّوْنَ(are) unlettered ones لَا(who) do not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow الْكِتٰبَthe book اِلَّاۤexcept اَمَانِیَّwishful thinking وَاِنْand not هُمْthey اِلَّا(do anything) except یَظُنُّوْنَguess ۟(78) فَوَیْلٌSo woe لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who یَكْتُبُوْنَwrite الْكِتٰبَthe book بِاَیْدِیْهِمْ ۗwith their (own) hands ثُمَّthen یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say هٰذَاThis مِنْ(is) عِنْدِfrom اللّٰهِAllah لِیَشْتَرُوْاto barter بِهٖwith it ثَمَنًا(for) a price قَلِیْلًا ؕlittle فَوَیْلٌSo woe لَّهُمْto them مِّمَّاfor what كَتَبَتْhave written اَیْدِیْهِمْtheir hands وَوَیْلٌand woe لَّهُمْto them مِّمَّاfor what یَكْسِبُوْنَthey earn ۟(79) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say لَنْNever تَمَسَّنَاwill touch us النَّارُthe Fire اِلَّاۤexcept اَیَّامًا(for) days مَّعْدُوْدَةً ؕnumbered قُلْSay اَتَّخَذْتُمْHave you taken عِنْدَfrom اللّٰهِAllah عَهْدًاa covenant فَلَنْso never یُّخْلِفَwill break اللّٰهُAllah عَهْدَهٗۤHis Covenant اَمْOr تَقُوْلُوْنَ(do) you say عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(80) بَلٰیYes مَنْwhoever كَسَبَearned سَیِّئَةًevil وَّاَحَاطَتْand surrounded him بِهٖwith خَطِیْٓـَٔتُهٗhis sins فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ[so] those اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(81) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَنَّةِ ۚ(of) Paradise هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟۠(82) وَاِذْAnd when اَخَذْنَاWe took مِیْثَاقَ(the) covenant بَنِیْۤ(from the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel لَاNot تَعْبُدُوْنَyou will worship اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهَ ۫Allah وَبِالْوَالِدَیْنِand with [the] parents اِحْسَانًا(be) good وَّذِیand (with) الْقُرْبٰیrelatives وَالْیَتٰمٰیand [the] orphans وَالْمَسٰكِیْنِand the needy وَقُوْلُوْاand speak لِلنَّاسِto [the] people حُسْنًاgood وَّاَقِیْمُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتُواand give الزَّكٰوةَ ؕthe zakah ثُمَّThen تَوَلَّیْتُمْyou turned away اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa few مِّنْكُمْof you وَاَنْتُمْand you (were) مُّعْرِضُوْنَrefusing ۟(83) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 12 - Juz 1 وَاِذْAnd when اَخَذْنَاWe took مِیْثَاقَكُمْyour covenant لَاNot تَسْفِكُوْنَwill you shed دِمَآءَكُمْyour blood وَلَاand not تُخْرِجُوْنَ(will) evict اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves مِّنْfrom دِیَارِكُمْyour homes ثُمَّthen اَقْرَرْتُمْyou ratified وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَشْهَدُوْنَ(were) witnessing ۟(84) ثُمَّThen اَنْتُمْyou هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(are) those تَقْتُلُوْنَ(who) kill اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves وَتُخْرِجُوْنَand evict فَرِیْقًاa party مِّنْكُمْof you مِّنْfrom دِیَارِهِمْ ؗtheir homes تَظٰهَرُوْنَyou support one another عَلَیْهِمْagainst them بِالْاِثْمِin sin وَالْعُدْوَانِ ؕand [the] transgression وَاِنْAnd if یَّاْتُوْكُمْthey come to you اُسٰرٰی(as) captives تُفٰدُوْهُمْyou ransom them وَهُوَwhile it مُحَرَّمٌ(was) forbidden عَلَیْكُمْto you اِخْرَاجُهُمْ ؕtheir eviction اَفَتُؤْمِنُوْنَSo do you believe بِبَعْضِin part (of) الْكِتٰبِthe Book وَتَكْفُرُوْنَand disbelieve بِبَعْضٍ ۚin part فَمَاThen what جَزَآءُ(should be the) recompense مَنْ(for the one) who یَّفْعَلُdoes ذٰلِكَthat مِنْكُمْamong you اِلَّاexcept خِزْیٌdisgrace فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world وَیَوْمَand (on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِof [the] Resurrection یُرَدُّوْنَthey will be sent back اِلٰۤیto اَشَدِّ(the) most severe الْعَذَابِ ؕpunishment وَمَاAnd not اللّٰهُ(is) Allah بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(85) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who اشْتَرَوُاbought الْحَیٰوةَthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ؗfor the Hereafter فَلَاso not یُخَفَّفُwill be lightened عَنْهُمُfor them الْعَذَابُthe punishment وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟۠(86) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَقَفَّیْنَاand We followed up مِنْfrom بَعْدِهٖafter him بِالرُّسُلِ ؗwith [the] Messengers وَاٰتَیْنَاAnd We gave عِیْسَیIsa ابْنَ(the) son مَرْیَمَ(of) Maryam الْبَیِّنٰتِ[the] clear signs وَاَیَّدْنٰهُand We supported him بِرُوْحِ(with) الْقُدُسِ ؕthe Holy Spirit اَفَكُلَّمَاIs it (not) so (that) whenever جَآءَكُمْcame to you رَسُوْلٌۢa Messenger بِمَاwith what لَا(does) not تَهْوٰۤیdesire اَنْفُسُكُمُyourselves اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۚyou acted arrogantly فَفَرِیْقًاSo a party كَذَّبْتُمْ ؗyou denied وَفَرِیْقًاand a party تَقْتُلُوْنَyou kill(ed) ۟(87) وَقَالُوْاAnd they said قُلُوْبُنَاOur hearts غُلْفٌ ؕ(are) wrapped بَلْNay لَّعَنَهُمُhas cursed them اللّٰهُAllah بِكُفْرِهِمْfor their disbelief فَقَلِیْلًاso little مَّا(is) what یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe ۟(88) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 13 - Juz 1 وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَهُمْcame to them كِتٰبٌa Book مِّنْof عِنْدِfrom اللّٰهِAllah مُصَدِّقٌconfirming لِّمَاwhat (was) مَعَهُمْ ۙwith them وَكَانُوْاthough they used to مِنْfrom قَبْلُbefore یَسْتَفْتِحُوْنَ(that), pray for victory عَلَیover الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْا ۖۚdisbelieved فَلَمَّاthen when جَآءَهُمْcame to them مَّاwhat عَرَفُوْاthey recognized كَفَرُوْاthey disbelieved بِهٖ ؗin it فَلَعْنَةُSo (the) curse اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَی(is) on الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(89) بِئْسَمَاEvil (is) that اشْتَرَوْا(for) which they have sold بِهٖۤwith اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves اَنْthat یَّكْفُرُوْاthey disbelieve بِمَاۤin what اَنْزَلَhas revealed اللّٰهُAllah بَغْیًاgrudging اَنْthat یُّنَزِّلَsends down اللّٰهُAllah مِنْof فَضْلِهٖHis Grace عَلٰیon مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْfrom عِبَادِهٖ ۚHis servants فَبَآءُوْSo they have drawn (on themselves) بِغَضَبٍwrath عَلٰیupon غَضَبٍ ؕwrath وَلِلْكٰفِرِیْنَAnd for the disbelievers عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مُّهِیْنٌhumiliating ۟(90) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُمْto them اٰمِنُوْاBelieve بِمَاۤin what اَنْزَلَhas revealed اللّٰهُAllah قَالُوْاthey say نُؤْمِنُWe believe بِمَاۤin what اُنْزِلَwas revealed عَلَیْنَاto us وَیَكْفُرُوْنَAnd they disbelieve بِمَاin what وَرَآءَهٗ ۗ(is) besides it وَهُوَwhile it الْحَقُّ(is) the truth مُصَدِّقًاconfirming لِّمَاwhat مَعَهُمْ ؕ(is) with them قُلْSay فَلِمَThen why تَقْتُلُوْنَ(did) you kill اَنْۢبِیَآءَ(the) Prophets اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْfrom قَبْلُbefore اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou were مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(91) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed جَآءَكُمْcame to you مُّوْسٰیMusa بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith [the] clear signs ثُمَّthen اتَّخَذْتُمُyou took الْعِجْلَthe calf مِنْfrom بَعْدِهٖafter him وَاَنْتُمْand you ظٰلِمُوْنَ(were) wrongdoers ۟(92) وَاِذْAnd when اَخَذْنَاWe took مِیْثَاقَكُمْyour covenant وَرَفَعْنَاand We raised فَوْقَكُمُover you الطُّوْرَ ؕthe mount خُذُوْاHold مَاۤwhat اٰتَیْنٰكُمْWe gave you بِقُوَّةٍwith firmness وَّاسْمَعُوْا ؕand listen قَالُوْاThey said سَمِعْنَاWe heard وَعَصَیْنَا ۗand we disobeyed وَاُشْرِبُوْاAnd they were made to drink فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمُtheir hearts الْعِجْلَ(love of) the calf بِكُفْرِهِمْ ؕbecause of their disbelief قُلْSay بِئْسَمَاEvil (is) that یَاْمُرُكُمْorders you (to do) it بِهٖۤwith اِیْمَانُكُمْyour faith اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(93) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 14 - Juz 1 قُلْSay اِنْIf كَانَتْis لَكُمُfor you الدَّارُthe home الْاٰخِرَةُ(of) the Hereafter عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِAllah خَالِصَةًexclusively مِّنْfrom دُوْنِexcluding النَّاسِthe mankind فَتَمَنَّوُاthen wish الْمَوْتَ(for) [the] death اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(94) وَلَنْAnd never (will) یَّتَمَنَّوْهُthey wish for it اَبَدًاever بِمَاbecause قَدَّمَتْ(of what) sent ahead اَیْدِیْهِمْ ؕtheir hands وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِالظّٰلِمِیْنَof the wrongdoers ۟(95) وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْAnd surely you will find them اَحْرَصَ(the) most greedy النَّاسِ(of) [the] mankind عَلٰیfor حَیٰوةٍ ۛۚlife وَمِنَand (greedier) than الَّذِیْنَthose who اَشْرَكُوْا ۛۚassociate[d] partners (with Allah) یَوَدُّLoves اَحَدُهُمْ(each) one of them لَوْif یُعَمَّرُhe could be granted a life اَلْفَ(of) a thousand سَنَةٍ ۚyear(s) وَمَاBut not هُوَit بِمُزَحْزِحِهٖ(will) remove him مِنَfrom الْعَذَابِthe punishment اَنْthat یُّعَمَّرَ ؕhe should be granted life وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer بِمَاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do ۟۠(96) قُلْSay مَنْWhoever كَانَis عَدُوًّاan enemy لِّجِبْرِیْلَto Jibreel فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed he نَزَّلَهٗbrought it down عَلٰیon قَلْبِكَyour heart بِاِذْنِby (the) permission اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مُصَدِّقًاconfirming لِّمَاwhat بَیْنَ(was) یَدَیْهِbefore it وَهُدًیand a guidance وَّبُشْرٰیand glad tiding(s) لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟(97) مَنْWhoever كَانَis عَدُوًّاan enemy لِّلّٰهِ(to) Allah وَمَلٰٓىِٕكَتِهٖand His Angels وَرُسُلِهٖand His Messengers وَجِبْرِیْلَand Jibreel وَمِیْكٰىلَand Meekael فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah عَدُوٌّ(is) an enemy لِّلْكٰفِرِیْنَto the disbelievers ۟(98) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed اَنْزَلْنَاۤWe revealed اِلَیْكَto you اٰیٰتٍۭVerses بَیِّنٰتٍ ۚclear وَمَاand not یَكْفُرُdisbelieves بِهَاۤin them اِلَّاexcept الْفٰسِقُوْنَthe defiantly disobedient ۟(99) اَوَكُلَّمَاAnd is (it not that) whenever عٰهَدُوْاthey took عَهْدًاa covenant نَّبَذَهٗthrew it away فَرِیْقٌa party مِّنْهُمْ ؕof them بَلْNay اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(100) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَهُمْcame to them رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْ(of) عِنْدِfrom اللّٰهِAllah مُصَدِّقٌconfirming لِّمَاwhat مَعَهُمْ(was) with them نَبَذَthrew away فَرِیْقٌa party مِّنَof الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواwere given الْكِتٰبَ ۙۗthe Book كِتٰبَ(the) Book اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَرَآءَbehind ظُهُوْرِهِمْtheir backs كَاَنَّهُمْas if they لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟ؗ(101) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 15 - Juz 1 وَاتَّبَعُوْاAnd they followed مَاwhat تَتْلُواrecite(d) الشَّیٰطِیْنُthe devils عَلٰیover مُلْكِ(the) kingdom سُلَیْمٰنَ ۚ(of) Sulaiman وَمَاAnd not كَفَرَdisbelieved سُلَیْمٰنُSulaiman وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but الشَّیٰطِیْنَthe devils كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved یُعَلِّمُوْنَthey teach النَّاسَthe people السِّحْرَ ۗ[the] magic وَمَاۤand what اُنْزِلَwas sent down عَلَیto الْمَلَكَیْنِthe two angels بِبَابِلَin Babylon هَارُوْتَHarut وَمَارُوْتَ ؕand Marut وَمَاAnd not یُعَلِّمٰنِthey both teach مِنْany اَحَدٍone حَتّٰیunless یَقُوْلَاۤthey [both] say اِنَّمَاOnly نَحْنُwe فِتْنَةٌ(are) a trial فَلَاso (do) not تَكْفُرْ ؕdisbelieve فَیَتَعَلَّمُوْنَBut they learn مِنْهُمَاfrom those two مَاwhat یُفَرِّقُوْنَ[they] causes separation بِهٖwith it بَیْنَbetween الْمَرْءِthe man وَزَوْجِهٖ ؕand his spouse وَمَاAnd not هُمْthey (could) بِضَآرِّیْنَat all [be those who] harm بِهٖwith it مِنْany اَحَدٍone اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِby permission اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَیَتَعَلَّمُوْنَAnd they learn مَاwhat یَضُرُّهُمْharms them وَلَاand not یَنْفَعُهُمْ ؕprofits them وَلَقَدْAnd indeed عَلِمُوْاthey knew لَمَنِthat whoever اشْتَرٰىهُbuys it مَاnot لَهٗfor him فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter مِنْany خَلَاقٍ ؕ۫share وَلَبِئْسَAnd surely evil مَا(is) what شَرَوْاthey sold بِهٖۤwith it اَنْفُسَهُمْ ؕthemselves لَوْif كَانُوْاthey were یَعْلَمُوْنَ(to) know ۟(102) وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّهُمْ[that] they اٰمَنُوْا(had) believed وَاتَّقَوْاand feared (Allah) لَمَثُوْبَةٌsurely (the) reward مِّنْ(of) عِنْدِfrom اللّٰهِAllah خَیْرٌ ؕ(would have been) better لَوْif كَانُوْاthey were یَعْلَمُوْنَ(to) know ۟۠(103) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] لَا(Do) not تَقُوْلُوْاsay رَاعِنَاRaina وَقُوْلُواand say انْظُرْنَاUnzurna وَاسْمَعُوْا ؕand listen وَلِلْكٰفِرِیْنَAnd for the disbelievers عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(104) مَا(Do) not یَوَدُّlike الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve مِنْfrom اَهْلِ(the) People الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book وَلَاand not الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthose who associate partners (with Allah) اَنْthat یُّنَزَّلَ(there should) be sent down عَلَیْكُمْto you مِّنْany خَیْرٍgood مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَخْتَصُّchooses بِرَحْمَتِهٖfor His Mercy مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah ذُو(is the) Possessor الْفَضْلِ(of) [the] Bounty الْعَظِیْمِ[the] Great ۟(105) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 16 - Juz 1 مَاWhat نَنْسَخْWe abrogate مِنْ(of) اٰیَةٍa sign اَوْor نُنْسِهَا[We] cause it to be forgotten نَاْتِWe bring بِخَیْرٍbetter مِّنْهَاۤthan it اَوْor مِثْلِهَا ؕsimilar (to) it اَلَمْDo not تَعْلَمْyou know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیover كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌ(is) All-Powerful ۟(106) اَلَمْDo not تَعْلَمْyou know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah لَهٗfor Him مُلْكُ(is the) Kingdom السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَمَاAnd not لَكُمْ(is) for you مِّنْfrom دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍany helper ۟(107) اَمْOr تُرِیْدُوْنَ(do) you wish اَنْthat تَسْـَٔلُوْاyou ask رَسُوْلَكُمْyour Messenger كَمَاas سُىِٕلَwas asked مُوْسٰیMusa مِنْfrom قَبْلُ ؕbefore وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّتَبَدَّلِexchanges الْكُفْرَ[the] disbelief بِالْاِیْمَانِwith [the] faith فَقَدْso certainly ضَلَّhe went astray (from) سَوَآءَ(the) evenness السَّبِیْلِ(of) the way ۟(108) وَدَّWish[ed] كَثِیْرٌmany مِّنْfrom اَهْلِ(the) People الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book لَوْif یَرُدُّوْنَكُمْthey could turn you back مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter اِیْمَانِكُمْyour (having) faith كُفَّارًا ۖۚ(to) disbelievers حَسَدًا(out of) jealousy مِّنْfrom عِنْدِ(of) اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves مِّنْ(even) from بَعْدِafter مَا[what] تَبَیَّنَbecame clear لَهُمُto them الْحَقُّ ۚthe truth فَاعْفُوْاSo forgive وَاصْفَحُوْاand overlook حَتّٰیuntil یَاْتِیَbrings اللّٰهُAllah بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕHis Command اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیon كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌ(is) All-Powerful ۟(109) وَاَقِیْمُواAnd establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتُواand give الزَّكٰوةَ ؕ[the] zakah وَمَاAnd whatever تُقَدِّمُوْاyou send forth لِاَنْفُسِكُمْfor yourselves مِّنْof خَیْرٍgood (deeds) تَجِدُوْهُyou will find it عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(110) وَقَالُوْاAnd they said لَنْNever یَّدْخُلَwill enter الْجَنَّةَthe Paradise اِلَّاexcept مَنْwho كَانَis هُوْدًا(a) Jew[s] اَوْor نَصٰرٰی ؕ(a) Christian[s] تِلْكَThat اَمَانِیُّهُمْ ؕ(is) their wishful thinking قُلْSay هَاتُوْاBring بُرْهَانَكُمْyour proof اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَ[those who are] truthful ۟(111) بَلٰی ۗYes مَنْwhoever اَسْلَمَsubmits وَجْهَهٗhis face لِلّٰهِto Allah وَهُوَand he مُحْسِنٌ(is) a good-doer فَلَهٗۤso for him اَجْرُهٗ(is) his reward عِنْدَwith رَبِّهٖ ۪his Lord وَلَاAnd no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْ(will be) on them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَ(will) grieve ۟۠(112) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 17 - Juz 1 وَقَالَتِAnd said الْیَهُوْدُthe Jews لَیْسَتِNot النَّصٰرٰیthe Christians عَلٰی(are) on شَیْءٍ ۪anything وَّقَالَتِand said النَّصٰرٰیthe Christians لَیْسَتِNot الْیَهُوْدُthe Jews عَلٰی(are) on شَیْءٍ ۙanything وَّهُمْalthough they یَتْلُوْنَrecite الْكِتٰبَ ؕthe Book كَذٰلِكَLike that قَالَsaid الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow مِثْلَsimilar قَوْلِهِمْ ۚtheir saying فَاللّٰهُ[So] Allah یَحْكُمُwill judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) Resurrection فِیْمَاin what كَانُوْاthey were فِیْهِ[in it] یَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffering ۟(113) وَمَنْAnd who اَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنْthan (one) who مَّنَعَprevents مَسٰجِدَ(the) masajid اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اَنْto یُّذْكَرَbe mentioned فِیْهَاin them اسْمُهٗHis name وَسَعٰیand strives فِیْfor خَرَابِهَا ؕtheir destruction اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose مَاNot كَانَit is لَهُمْfor them اَنْthat یَّدْخُلُوْهَاۤthey enter them اِلَّاexcept خَآىِٕفِیْنَ ؕ۬(like) those in fear لَهُمْFor them فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world خِزْیٌ(is) disgrace وَّلَهُمْand for them فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(114) وَلِلّٰهِAnd for Allah الْمَشْرِقُ(is) the east وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۗand the west فَاَیْنَمَاso wherever تُوَلُّوْاyou turn فَثَمَّ[so] there وَجْهُ(is the) face اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah وَاسِعٌ(is) All-Encompassing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(115) وَقَالُواAnd they said اتَّخَذَhas taken اللّٰهُAllah وَلَدًا ۙa son سُبْحٰنَهٗ ؕGlory be to Him بَلْNay لَّهٗfor Him مَا(is) what فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth كُلٌّAll لَّهٗto Him قٰنِتُوْنَ(are) humbly obedient ۟(116) بَدِیْعُ(The) Originator السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَاِذَاAnd when قَضٰۤیHe decrees اَمْرًاa matter فَاِنَّمَا[so] only یَقُوْلُHe says لَهٗto it كُنْBe فَیَكُوْنُand it becomes ۟(117) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow لَوْلَاWhy not یُكَلِّمُنَاspeaks to us اللّٰهُAllah اَوْor تَاْتِیْنَاۤcomes to us اٰیَةٌ ؕa sign كَذٰلِكَLike that قَالَsaid الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْfrom قَبْلِهِمْbefore them مِّثْلَsimilar قَوْلِهِمْ ؕtheir saying تَشَابَهَتْBecame alike قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕtheir hearts قَدْIndeed بَیَّنَّاWe have made clear الْاٰیٰتِthe signs لِقَوْمٍfor people یُّوْقِنُوْنَ(who) firmly believe ۟(118) اِنَّاۤIndeed We اَرْسَلْنٰكَ[We] have sent you بِالْحَقِّwith the truth بَشِیْرًا(as) a bearer of good news وَّنَذِیْرًا ۙand (as) a warner وَّلَاAnd not تُسْـَٔلُyou will be asked عَنْabout اَصْحٰبِ(the) companions الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the blazing Fire ۟(119) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 18 - Juz 1 وَلَنْAnd never تَرْضٰیwill be pleased عَنْكَwith you الْیَهُوْدُthe Jews وَلَاand [not] النَّصٰرٰیthe Christians حَتّٰیuntil تَتَّبِعَyou follow مِلَّتَهُمْ ؕtheir religion قُلْSay اِنَّIndeed هُدَی(the) Guidance اللّٰهِ(of) Allah هُوَit الْهُدٰی ؕ(is) the Guidance وَلَىِٕنِAnd if اتَّبَعْتَyou follow اَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires بَعْدَafter الَّذِیْwhat جَآءَكَhas come to you مِنَof الْعِلْمِ ۙthe knowledge مَاnot لَكَfor you مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍany helper ۟ؔ(120) اَلَّذِیْنَThose اٰتَیْنٰهُمُWe have given them الْكِتٰبَthe Book یَتْلُوْنَهٗrecite it حَقَّ(as it has the) right تِلَاوَتِهٖ ؕ(of) its recitation اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose (people) یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِهٖ ؕin it وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّكْفُرْdisbelieves بِهٖin it فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُthey الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟۠(121) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel اذْكُرُوْاRemember نِعْمَتِیَMy Favor الَّتِیْۤwhich اَنْعَمْتُI bestowed عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَاَنِّیْand that I فَضَّلْتُكُمْ[I] preferred you عَلَیover الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟(122) وَاتَّقُوْاAnd fear یَوْمًاa day لَّاnot تَجْزِیْwill avail نَفْسٌa soul عَنْ(of) نَّفْسٍ(another) soul شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not یُقْبَلُwill be accepted مِنْهَاfrom it عَدْلٌany compensation وَّلَاand not تَنْفَعُهَاwill benefit it شَفَاعَةٌany intercession وَّلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟(123) وَاِذِAnd when ابْتَلٰۤیtried اِبْرٰهٖمَIbrahim رَبُّهٗhis Lord بِكَلِمٰتٍwith words فَاَتَمَّهُنَّ ؕand he fulfilled them قَالَHe said اِنِّیْIndeed I جَاعِلُكَ(am) the One to make you لِلنَّاسِfor the mankind اِمَامًا ؕa leader قَالَHe said وَمِنْAnd from ذُرِّیَّتِیْ ؕmy offspring قَالَHe said لَا(Does) not یَنَالُreach عَهْدِیMy Covenant الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(to) the wrongdoers ۟(124) وَاِذْAnd when جَعَلْنَاWe made الْبَیْتَthe House مَثَابَةًa place of return لِّلنَّاسِfor mankind وَاَمْنًا ؕand (a place of) security وَاتَّخِذُوْاand (said), "Take مِنْ[from] مَّقَامِ(the) standing place اِبْرٰهٖمَ(of) Ibrahim مُصَلًّی ؕ(as) a place of prayer وَعَهِدْنَاۤAnd We made a covenant اِلٰۤیwith اِبْرٰهٖمَIbrahim وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَand Ishmael اَنْ[that] طَهِّرَا[You both] purify بَیْتِیَMy House لِلطَّآىِٕفِیْنَfor those who circumambulate وَالْعٰكِفِیْنَand those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer وَالرُّكَّعِand those who bow down السُّجُوْدِand those who prostrate ۟(125) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim رَبِّMy Lord اجْعَلْmake هٰذَاthis بَلَدًاa city اٰمِنًاsecure وَّارْزُقْand provide اَهْلَهٗits people مِنَwith الثَّمَرٰتِfruits مَنْ(to) whoever اٰمَنَbelieved مِنْهُمْfrom them بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاَخِرِ ؕthe Last قَالَHe said وَمَنْAnd whoever كَفَرَdisbelieved فَاُمَتِّعُهٗ[then] I will grant him enjoyment قَلِیْلًاa little ثُمَّthen اَضْطَرُّهٗۤI will force him اِلٰیto عَذَابِ(the) punishment النَّارِ ؕ(of) the Fire وَبِئْسَand evil الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the destination ۟(126) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 19 - Juz 1 وَاِذْAnd when یَرْفَعُ(was) raising اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim الْقَوَاعِدَthe foundations مِنَof الْبَیْتِthe House وَاِسْمٰعِیْلُ ؕand Ishmael رَبَّنَا(saying), "Our Lord تَقَبَّلْAccept مِنَّا ؕfrom us اِنَّكَIndeed You اَنْتَ[You] (are) السَّمِیْعُthe All-Hearing الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knowing ۟(127) رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَاجْعَلْنَا[and] Make us مُسْلِمَیْنِboth submissive لَكَto You وَمِنْAnd from ذُرِّیَّتِنَاۤour offspring اُمَّةًa community مُّسْلِمَةًsubmissive لَّكَ ۪to You وَاَرِنَاAnd show us مَنَاسِكَنَاour ways of worship وَتُبْand turn عَلَیْنَا ۚto us اِنَّكَIndeed You اَنْتَ[You] (are) التَّوَّابُthe Oft-returning الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(128) رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَابْعَثْ[And] raise up فِیْهِمْin them رَسُوْلًاa Messenger مِّنْهُمْfrom them یَتْلُوْا(who) will recite عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتِكَYour Verses وَیُعَلِّمُهُمُand will teach them الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَالْحِكْمَةَand the wisdom وَیُزَكِّیْهِمْ ؕand purify them اِنَّكَIndeed You اَنْتَYou (are) الْعَزِیْزُthe All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟۠(129) وَمَنْAnd who یَّرْغَبُwill turn away عَنْfrom مِّلَّةِ(the) religion اِبْرٰهٖمَ(of) Ibrahim اِلَّاexcept مَنْwho سَفِهَfooled نَفْسَهٗ ؕhimself وَلَقَدِAnd indeed اصْطَفَیْنٰهُWe chose him فِیin الدُّنْیَا ۚthe world وَاِنَّهٗand indeed he فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter لَمِنَsurely (will be) among الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟(130) اِذْWhen قَالَsaid لَهٗto him رَبُّهٗۤhis Lord اَسْلِمْ ۙSubmit (yourself) قَالَhe said اَسْلَمْتُI (have) submitted (myself) لِرَبِّto (the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(131) وَوَصّٰیAnd enjoined بِهَاۤ[it] اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim بَنِیْهِ(upon) his sons وَیَعْقُوْبُ ؕand Yaqub یٰبَنِیَّO my sons اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah اصْطَفٰیhas chosen لَكُمُfor you الدِّیْنَthe religion فَلَاso not تَمُوْتُنَّ(should) you die اِلَّاexcept وَاَنْتُمْwhile you مُّسْلِمُوْنَ(are) submissive ۟ؕ(132) اَمْOr كُنْتُمْwere you شُهَدَآءَwitnesses اِذْwhen حَضَرَcame to یَعْقُوْبَYaqub الْمَوْتُ ۙ[the] death اِذْwhen قَالَhe said لِبَنِیْهِto his sons مَاWhat تَعْبُدُوْنَwill you worship مِنْfrom بَعْدِیْ ؕafter me قَالُوْاThey said نَعْبُدُWe will worship اِلٰهَكَyour God وَاِلٰهَand (the) God اٰبَآىِٕكَ(of) your forefathers اِبْرٰهٖمَIbrahim وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَand Ishmael وَاِسْحٰقَand Isaac اِلٰهًاGod وَّاحِدًا ۖۚOne وَّنَحْنُAnd we لَهٗto Him مُسْلِمُوْنَ(are) submissive ۟(133) تِلْكَThis اُمَّةٌ(was) a community قَدْ(which) خَلَتْ ۚhas passed away لَهَاfor it مَاwhat كَسَبَتْit earned وَلَكُمْand for you مَّاwhat كَسَبْتُمْ ۚyou have earned وَلَاAnd not تُسْـَٔلُوْنَyou will be asked عَمَّاabout what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(134) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 20 - Juz 1 وَقَالُوْاAnd they said كُوْنُوْاBe هُوْدًاJews اَوْor نَصٰرٰیChristians تَهْتَدُوْا ؕ(then) you will be guided قُلْSay بَلْNay مِلَّةَ(the) religion اِبْرٰهٖمَ(of) Ibrahim حَنِیْفًا ؕ(the) upright وَمَاand not كَانَhe was مِنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthose who associated partners (with Allah) ۟(135) قُوْلُوْۤاSay اٰمَنَّاWe have believed بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَمَاۤand what اُنْزِلَ(is) revealed اِلَیْنَاto us وَمَاۤand what اُنْزِلَwas revealed اِلٰۤیto اِبْرٰهٖمَIbrahim وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَand Ishmael وَاِسْحٰقَand Isaac وَیَعْقُوْبَand Yaqub وَالْاَسْبَاطِand the descendants وَمَاۤand what اُوْتِیَwas given مُوْسٰی(to) Musa وَعِیْسٰیand Isa وَمَاۤand what اُوْتِیَwas given النَّبِیُّوْنَ(to) the Prophets مِنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord لَاNot نُفَرِّقُwe make distinction بَیْنَbetween اَحَدٍany مِّنْهُمْ ۖؗof them وَنَحْنُAnd we لَهٗto Him مُسْلِمُوْنَ(are) submissive ۟(136) فَاِنْSo if اٰمَنُوْاthey believe[d] بِمِثْلِin (the) like مَاۤ(of) what اٰمَنْتُمْyou have believed بِهٖin [it] فَقَدِthen indeed اهْتَدَوْا ۚthey are (rightly) guided وَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّوْاthey turn away فَاِنَّمَاthen only هُمْthey فِیْ(are) in شِقَاقٍ ۚdissension فَسَیَكْفِیْكَهُمُSo will suffice you against them اللّٰهُ ۚAllah وَهُوَand He السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearing الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knowing ۟ؕ(137) صِبْغَةَ(The) color (religion) اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah وَمَنْAnd who اَحْسَنُ(is) better مِنَthan اللّٰهِAllah صِبْغَةً ؗat coloring وَّنَحْنُAnd we لَهٗto Him عٰبِدُوْنَ(are) worshippers ۟(138) قُلْSay اَتُحَآجُّوْنَنَاDo you argue with us فِیabout اللّٰهِAllah وَهُوَwhile He رَبُّنَا(is) our Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ ۚand your Lord وَلَنَاۤAnd for us اَعْمَالُنَا(are) our deeds وَلَكُمْand for you اَعْمَالُكُمْ ۚ(are) your deeds وَنَحْنُand we لَهٗto Him مُخْلِصُوْنَ(are) sincere ۟ۙ(139) اَمْOr تَقُوْلُوْنَ(do) you say اِنَّthat اِبْرٰهٖمَIbrahim وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَand Ishmael وَاِسْحٰقَand Isaac وَیَعْقُوْبَand Yaqub وَالْاَسْبَاطَand the descendants كَانُوْاwere هُوْدًاJews اَوْor نَصٰرٰی ؕChristians قُلْSay ءَاَنْتُمْAre you اَعْلَمُbetter knowing اَمِor اللّٰهُ ؕ(is) Allah وَمَنْAnd who اَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنْthan (the one) who كَتَمَconcealed شَهَادَةًa testimony عِنْدَهٗ(that) he has مِنَfrom اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَمَاAnd not اللّٰهُ(is) Allah بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(140) تِلْكَThis اُمَّةٌ(was) a community قَدْ(which) خَلَتْ ۚhas passed away لَهَاfor it مَاwhat كَسَبَتْit earned وَلَكُمْand for you مَّاwhat كَسَبْتُمْ ۚyou have earned وَلَاAnd not تُسْـَٔلُوْنَyou will be asked عَمَّاabout what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟۠(141) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 21 - Juz 1 سَیَقُوْلُWill say السُّفَهَآءُthe foolish ones مِنَfrom النَّاسِthe people مَاWhat وَلّٰىهُمْ(has) turned them عَنْfrom قِبْلَتِهِمُtheir direction of prayer الَّتِیْwhich كَانُوْاthey were used to عَلَیْهَا ؕ[on it] قُلْSay لِّلّٰهِFor Allah الْمَشْرِقُ(is) the east وَالْمَغْرِبُ ؕand the west یَهْدِیْHe guides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍa path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟(142) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus جَعَلْنٰكُمْWe made you اُمَّةًa community وَّسَطًا(of the) middle way لِّتَكُوْنُوْاso that you will be شُهَدَآءَwitnesses عَلَیover النَّاسِthe mankind وَیَكُوْنَand will be الرَّسُوْلُthe Messenger عَلَیْكُمْon you شَهِیْدًا ؕa witness وَمَاAnd not جَعَلْنَاWe made الْقِبْلَةَthe direction of prayer الَّتِیْwhich كُنْتَyou were used to عَلَیْهَاۤ[on it] اِلَّاexcept لِنَعْلَمَthat We make evident مَنْ(he) who یَّتَّبِعُfollows الرَّسُوْلَthe Messenger مِمَّنْfrom (he) who یَّنْقَلِبُturns back عَلٰیon عَقِبَیْهِ ؕhis heels وَاِنْAnd indeed كَانَتْit was لَكَبِیْرَةًcertainly a great (test) اِلَّاexcept عَلَیfor الَّذِیْنَthose whom هَدَیguided اللّٰهُ ؕ(by) Allah وَمَاAnd not كَانَwill اللّٰهُAllah لِیُضِیْعَlet go waste اِیْمَانَكُمْ ؕyour faith اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِالنَّاسِ(is) to [the] mankind لَرَءُوْفٌFull of Kindness رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(143) قَدْIndeed نَرٰیWe see تَقَلُّبَ(the) turning وَجْهِكَ(of) your face فِیtowards السَّمَآءِ ۚthe heaven فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّكَSo We will surely turn you قِبْلَةً(to the) direction of prayer تَرْضٰىهَا ۪you will be pleased with فَوَلِّSo turn وَجْهَكَyour face شَطْرَtowards the direction الْمَسْجِدِ(of) Al-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ؕAl-Haraam وَحَیْثُand wherever مَاthat كُنْتُمْyou are فَوَلُّوْا[so] turn وُجُوْهَكُمْyour faces شَطْرَهٗ ؕ(in) its direction وَاِنَّAnd indeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواwere given الْكِتٰبَthe Book لَیَعْلَمُوْنَsurely know اَنَّهُthat it الْحَقُّ(is) the truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْ ؕtheir Lord وَمَاAnd not اللّٰهُ(is) Allah بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do ۟(144) وَلَىِٕنْAnd even if اَتَیْتَyou come الَّذِیْنَ(to) those who اُوْتُواwere given الْكِتٰبَthe Book بِكُلِّwith all اٰیَةٍ(the) signs مَّاnot تَبِعُوْاthey would follow قِبْلَتَكَ ۚyour direction of prayer وَمَاۤand not اَنْتَ(will) you (be) بِتَابِعٍa follower قِبْلَتَهُمْ ۚ(of) their direction of prayer وَمَاAnd not بَعْضُهُمْsome of them بِتَابِعٍ(are) followers قِبْلَةَ(of the) direction of prayer بَعْضٍ ؕ(of each) other وَلَىِٕنِAnd if اتَّبَعْتَyou followed اَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَكَcame to you مِنَof الْعِلْمِ ۙthe knowledge اِنَّكَindeed, you اِذًا(would) then لَّمِنَ(be) surely among الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۘ(145) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 22 - Juz 2 اَلَّذِیْنَ(To) those whom اٰتَیْنٰهُمُWe gave [them] الْكِتٰبَthe Book یَعْرِفُوْنَهٗthey recognize it كَمَاlike یَعْرِفُوْنَthey recognize اَبْنَآءَهُمْ ؕtheir sons وَاِنَّAnd indeed فَرِیْقًاa group مِّنْهُمْof them لَیَكْتُمُوْنَsurely they conceal الْحَقَّthe Truth وَهُمْwhile they یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟ؔ(146) اَلْحَقُّThe Truth مِنْ(is) from رَّبِّكَyour Lord فَلَاso (do) not تَكُوْنَنَّbe مِنَamong الْمُمْتَرِیْنَthe doubters ۟۠(147) وَلِكُلٍّAnd for everyone وِّجْهَةٌ(is) a direction هُوَhe مُوَلِّیْهَاturns towards it فَاسْتَبِقُوْاso race الْخَیْرٰتِ ؔؕ(to) the good اَیْنَWherever مَاthat تَكُوْنُوْاyou will be یَاْتِwill bring بِكُمُyou اللّٰهُ(by) Allah جَمِیْعًا ؕtogether اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(148) وَمِنْAnd from حَیْثُwherever خَرَجْتَyou start forth فَوَلِّ[so] turn وَجْهَكَyour face شَطْرَ(in the) direction الْمَسْجِدِ(of) Al-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ؕAl-Haraam وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, it لَلْحَقُّ(is) surely the truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ؕyour Lord وَمَاAnd not اللّٰهُ(is) Allah بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(149) وَمِنْAnd from حَیْثُwherever خَرَجْتَyou start forth فَوَلِّ[so] turn وَجْهَكَyour face شَطْرَ(in the) direction الْمَسْجِدِ(of) Al-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ؕAl-Haraam وَحَیْثُAnd wherever مَاthat كُنْتُمْyou (all) are فَوَلُّوْا[so] turn وُجُوْهَكُمْyour faces شَطْرَهٗ ۙ(in) its direction لِئَلَّاso that not یَكُوْنَwill be لِلنَّاسِfor the people عَلَیْكُمْagainst you حُجَّةٌ ۙۗany argument اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاwronged مِنْهُمْ ۗamong them فَلَاso (do) not تَخْشَوْهُمْfear them وَاخْشَوْنِیْ ۗbut fear Me وَلِاُتِمَّAnd that I complete نِعْمَتِیْMy favor عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَلَعَلَّكُمْ[and] so that you may تَهْتَدُوْنَ(be) guided ۟ۙۛ(150) كَمَاۤAs اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent فِیْكُمْamong you رَسُوْلًاa Messenger مِّنْكُمْfrom you یَتْلُوْا(who) recites عَلَیْكُمْto you اٰیٰتِنَاOur verses وَیُزَكِّیْكُمْand purifies you وَیُعَلِّمُكُمُand teaches you الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَالْحِكْمَةَand the wisdom وَیُعَلِّمُكُمْand teaches you مَّاwhat لَمْnot تَكُوْنُوْاyou were تَعْلَمُوْنَknowing ۟ؕۛ(151) فَاذْكُرُوْنِیْۤSo remember Me اَذْكُرْكُمْI will remember you وَاشْكُرُوْاand be grateful لِیْto Me وَلَاand (do) not تَكْفُرُوْنِ(be) ungrateful to Me ۟۠(152) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُواbelieve[d] اسْتَعِیْنُوْاSeek help بِالصَّبْرِthrough patience وَالصَّلٰوةِ ؕand the prayer اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الصّٰبِرِیْنَthe patient ones ۟(153) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 23 - Juz 2 وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقُوْلُوْاsay لِمَنْfor (the ones) who یُّقْتَلُare slain فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اَمْوَاتٌ ؕ(They are) dead بَلْNay اَحْیَآءٌ(they are) alive وَّلٰكِنْ[and] but لَّاyou (do) not تَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟(154) وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْAnd surely We will test you بِشَیْءٍwith something مِّنَof الْخَوْفِ[the] fear وَالْجُوْعِand [the] hunger وَنَقْصٍand loss مِّنَof الْاَمْوَالِ[the] wealth وَالْاَنْفُسِand [the] lives وَالثَّمَرٰتِ ؕand [the] fruits وَبَشِّرِbut give good news الصّٰبِرِیْنَ(to) the patient ones ۟ۙ(155) الَّذِیْنَThose who اِذَاۤwhen اَصَابَتْهُمْstrikes them مُّصِیْبَةٌ ۙa misfortune قَالُوْۤاthey say اِنَّاIndeed, we لِلّٰهِbelong to Allah وَاِنَّاۤand indeed we اِلَیْهِtowards Him رٰجِعُوْنَwill return ۟ؕ(156) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose عَلَیْهِمْon them صَلَوٰتٌ(are) blessings مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَرَحْمَةٌ ۫and Mercy وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those هُمُ[they] الْمُهْتَدُوْنَ(are) the guided ones ۟(157) اِنَّIndeed الصَّفَاthe Safa وَالْمَرْوَةَand the Marwah مِنْ(are) from شَعَآىِٕرِ(the) symbols اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah فَمَنْSo whoever حَجَّperforms Hajj الْبَیْتَ(of) the House اَوِor اعْتَمَرَperforms Umrah فَلَاso no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْهِon him اَنْthat یَّطَّوَّفَhe walks بِهِمَا ؕbetween [both of] them وَمَنْAnd whoever تَطَوَّعَvoluntarily does خَیْرًا ۙgood فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah شَاكِرٌ(is) All-Appreciative عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(158) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَكْتُمُوْنَconceal مَاۤwhat اَنْزَلْنَاWe revealed مِنَof الْبَیِّنٰتِthe clear proofs وَالْهُدٰیand the Guidance مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] بَیَّنّٰهُWe made clear لِلنَّاسِto the people فِیin الْكِتٰبِ ۙthe Book اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose یَلْعَنُهُمُcurses them اللّٰهُAllah وَیَلْعَنُهُمُand curse them اللّٰعِنُوْنَthe ones who curse ۟ۙ(159) اِلَّاExcept الَّذِیْنَthose تَابُوْاwho repent[ed] وَاَصْلَحُوْاand reform[ed] وَبَیَّنُوْاand openly declar[ed] فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَThen those اَتُوْبُI will accept repentance عَلَیْهِمْ ۚfrom them وَاَنَاand I (am) التَّوَّابُthe Acceptor of Repentance الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(160) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve[d] وَمَاتُوْاand die[d] وَهُمْwhile they كُفَّارٌ(were) disbelievers اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose عَلَیْهِمْon them لَعْنَةُ(is the) curse اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِand the Angels وَالنَّاسِand the mankind اَجْمَعِیْنَall together ۟ۙ(161) خٰلِدِیْنَ(Will) abide forever فِیْهَا ۚin it لَاNot یُخَفَّفُwill be lightened عَنْهُمُfor them الْعَذَابُthe punishment وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْظَرُوْنَwill be reprieved ۟(162) وَاِلٰهُكُمْAnd your God اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌ ۚone (only) لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَHim الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟۠(163) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 24 - Juz 2 اِنَّIndeed فِیْin خَلْقِ(the) creation السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَاخْتِلَافِand alternation الَّیْلِof the night وَالنَّهَارِand the day وَالْفُلْكِand the ships الَّتِیْwhich تَجْرِیْsail فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea بِمَاwith what یَنْفَعُbenefits النَّاسَ[the] people وَمَاۤand what اَنْزَلَ(has) sent down اللّٰهُAllah مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مِنْ[of] مَّآءٍwater فَاَحْیَاgiving life بِهِthereby الْاَرْضَ(to) the earth بَعْدَafter مَوْتِهَاits death وَبَثَّand dispersing فِیْهَاtherein مِنْ[of] كُلِّevery دَآبَّةٍ ۪moving creature وَّتَصْرِیْفِand directing الرِّیٰحِ(of) the winds وَالسَّحَابِand the clouds الْمُسَخَّرِ[the] controlled بَیْنَbetween السَّمَآءِthe sky وَالْاَرْضِand the earth لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْقِلُوْنَwho use their intellect ۟(164) وَمِنَAnd among النَّاسِthe mankind مَنْwho یَّتَّخِذُtakes مِنْfrom دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah اَنْدَادًاequals یُّحِبُّوْنَهُمْThey love them كَحُبِّas (they should) love اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve[d] اَشَدُّ(are) stronger حُبًّا(in) love لِّلّٰهِ ؕfor Allah وَلَوْAnd if یَرَیwould see الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْۤاwronged اِذْwhen یَرَوْنَthey will see الْعَذَابَ ۙthe punishment اَنَّthat الْقُوَّةَthe power لِلّٰهِ(belongs) to Allah جَمِیْعًا ۙall وَّاَنَّand [that] اللّٰهَAllah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعَذَابِ(in) [the] punishment ۟(165) اِذْWhen تَبَرَّاَwill disown الَّذِیْنَthose who اتُّبِعُوْاwere followed مِنَ[from] الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّبَعُوْاfollowed وَرَاَوُاand they will see الْعَذَابَthe punishment وَتَقَطَّعَتْ[and] will be cut off بِهِمُfor them الْاَسْبَابُthe relations ۟(166) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّبَعُوْاfollowed لَوْ(Only) if اَنَّ[that] لَنَاfor us كَرَّةًa return فَنَتَبَرَّاَthen we will disown مِنْهُمْ[from] them كَمَاas تَبَرَّءُوْاthey disown مِنَّا ؕ[from] us كَذٰلِكَThus یُرِیْهِمُwill show them اللّٰهُAllah اَعْمَالَهُمْtheir deeds حَسَرٰتٍ(as) regrets عَلَیْهِمْ ؕfor them وَمَاAnd not هُمْthey بِخٰرِجِیْنَwill come out مِنَfrom النَّارِthe Fire ۟۠(167) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّاسُmankind كُلُوْاEat مِمَّاof what فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth حَلٰلًاlawful طَیِّبًا ۖؗ(and) good وَّلَاAnd (do) not تَتَّبِعُوْاfollow خُطُوٰتِ(the) footsteps (of) الشَّیْطٰنِ ؕthe Shaitaan اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَكُمْ(is) to you عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(168) اِنَّمَاOnly یَاْمُرُكُمْhe commands you بِالسُّوْٓءِto (do) the evil وَالْفَحْشَآءِand the shameful وَاَنْand that تَقُوْلُوْاyou say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(169) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 25 - Juz 2 وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُمُto them اتَّبِعُوْاFollow مَاۤwhat اَنْزَلَhas revealed اللّٰهُAllah قَالُوْاthey said بَلْNay نَتَّبِعُwe follow مَاۤwhat اَلْفَیْنَاwe found عَلَیْهِ[on it] اٰبَآءَنَا ؕour forefathers (following) اَوَلَوْEven though كَانَ[were] اٰبَآؤُهُمْtheir forefathers لَا(did) not یَعْقِلُوْنَunderstand شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not یَهْتَدُوْنَwere they guided ۟(170) وَمَثَلُAnd (the) example الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve[d] كَمَثَلِ(is) like (the) example الَّذِیْ(of) the one who یَنْعِقُshouts بِمَاat what لَاnot یَسْمَعُ(does) hear اِلَّاexcept دُعَآءًcalls وَّنِدَآءً ؕand cries صُمٌّۢdeaf بُكْمٌdumb عُمْیٌ(and) blind فَهُمْ[so] they لَا(do) not یَعْقِلُوْنَunderstand ۟(171) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] كُلُوْاEat مِنْfrom طَیِّبٰتِ(the) good مَا(of) what رَزَقْنٰكُمْWe have provided you وَاشْكُرُوْاand be grateful لِلّٰهِto Allah اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou اِیَّاهُalone تَعْبُدُوْنَworship Him ۟(172) اِنَّمَاOnly حَرَّمَHe has forbidden عَلَیْكُمُto you الْمَیْتَةَthe dead animals وَالدَّمَand [the] blood وَلَحْمَand flesh الْخِنْزِیْرِ(of) swine وَمَاۤand what اُهِلَّhas been dedicated بِهٖ[with it] لِغَیْرِto other than اللّٰهِ ۚAllah فَمَنِSo whoever اضْطُرَّ(is) forced by necessity غَیْرَwithout بَاغٍ(being) disobedient وَّلَاand not عَادٍtransgressor فَلَاۤthen no اِثْمَsin عَلَیْهِ ؕon him اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(173) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَكْتُمُوْنَconceal مَاۤwhat اَنْزَلَ(has) revealed اللّٰهُAllah (has) مِنَof الْكِتٰبِthe Book وَیَشْتَرُوْنَand they purchase بِهٖthere with ثَمَنًاa gain قَلِیْلًا ۙlittle اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose مَاnot یَاْكُلُوْنَthey eat فِیْin بُطُوْنِهِمْtheir bellies اِلَّاexcept النَّارَthe Fire وَلَاAnd not یُكَلِّمُهُمُwill speak to them اللّٰهُAllah یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) [the] Judgment وَلَاand not یُزَكِّیْهِمْ ۖۚwill He purify them وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(174) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) they who اشْتَرَوُاpurchase[d] الضَّلٰلَةَ[the] astraying بِالْهُدٰیfor [the] Guidance وَالْعَذَابَand [the] punishment بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚfor [the] forgiveness فَمَاۤSo what (is) اَصْبَرَهُمْtheir endurance عَلَیon النَّارِthe Fire ۟(175) ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّ(is) because اللّٰهَAllah نَزَّلَrevealed الْكِتٰبَthe Book بِالْحَقِّ ؕwith [the] Truth وَاِنَّAnd indeed الَّذِیْنَthose اخْتَلَفُوْاwho differed فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book لَفِیْ(are) surely in شِقَاقٍschism بَعِیْدٍfar ۟۠(176) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 26 - Juz 2 لَیْسَIt is not الْبِرَّ[the] righteousness اَنْthat تُوَلُّوْاyou turn وُجُوْهَكُمْyour faces قِبَلَtowards الْمَشْرِقِthe east وَالْمَغْرِبِand the west وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but الْبِرَّthe righteous[ness] مَنْ(is he) who اٰمَنَbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِ[the] Last وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِand the Angels وَالْكِتٰبِand the Book وَالنَّبِیّٖنَ ۚand the Prophets وَاٰتَیand gives الْمَالَthe wealth عَلٰیin حُبِّهٖspite of his love (for it) ذَوِی(to) those الْقُرْبٰی(of) the near relatives وَالْیَتٰمٰیand the orphans وَالْمَسٰكِیْنَand the needy وَابْنَand (of) السَّبِیْلِ ۙthe wayfarer وَالسَّآىِٕلِیْنَand those who ask وَفِیand in الرِّقَابِ ۚfreeing the necks (slaves) وَاَقَامَand (who) establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَیand give الزَّكٰوةَ ۚthe zakah وَالْمُوْفُوْنَand those who fulfill بِعَهْدِهِمْtheir covenant اِذَاwhen عٰهَدُوْا ۚthey make it وَالصّٰبِرِیْنَand those who are patient فِیin الْبَاْسَآءِ[the] suffering وَالضَّرَّآءِand [the] hardship وَحِیْنَand (the) time الْبَاْسِ ؕ(of) [the] stress اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who صَدَقُوْا ؕare true وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those هُمُ[they] الْمُتَّقُوْنَ(are) the righteous ۟(177) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] كُتِبَPrescribed عَلَیْكُمُfor you الْقِصَاصُ(is) the legal retribution فِیin الْقَتْلٰی ؕ(the matter of) the murdered اَلْحُرُّthe freeman بِالْحُرِّfor the freeman وَالْعَبْدُand the slave بِالْعَبْدِfor the slave وَالْاُand the female بِالْاُ ؕfor the female فَمَنْBut whoever عُفِیَis pardoned لَهٗ[for it] مِنْfrom اَخِیْهِhis brother شَیْءٌanything فَاتِّبَاعٌthen follows up بِالْمَعْرُوْفِwith suitable وَاَدَآءٌ[and] payment اِلَیْهِto him بِاِحْسَانٍ ؕwith kindness ذٰلِكَThat (is) تَخْفِیْفٌa concession مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَرَحْمَةٌ ؕand mercy فَمَنِThen whoever اعْتَدٰیtransgresses بَعْدَafter ذٰلِكَthat فَلَهٗthen for him عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(178) وَلَكُمْAnd for you فِیin الْقِصَاصِthe legal retribution حَیٰوةٌ(is) life یّٰۤاُولِیO men الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding لَعَلَّكُمْSo that you may تَتَّقُوْنَ(become) righteous ۟(179) كُتِبَPrescribed عَلَیْكُمْfor you اِذَاwhen حَضَرَapproaches اَحَدَكُمُany of you الْمَوْتُ[the] death اِنْif تَرَكَhe leaves خَیْرَا ۖۚgood لْوَصِیَّةُ(making) the will لِلْوَالِدَیْنِfor the parents وَالْاَقْرَبِیْنَand the near relatives بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ۚwith due fairness حَقًّاa duty عَلَیon الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ones ۟ؕ(180) فَمَنْThen whoever بَدَّلَهٗchanges it بَعْدَ مَاafter what سَمِعَهٗhe (has) heard [it] فَاِنَّمَاۤso only اِثْمُهٗits sin عَلَی(would be) on الَّذِیْنَthose who یُبَدِّلُوْنَهٗ ؕalter it اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟ؕ(181) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 27 - Juz 2 فَمَنْBut whoever خَافَfears مِنْfrom مُّوْصٍ(the) testator جَنَفًا(any) error اَوْor اِثْمًاsin فَاَصْلَحَthen reconciles بَیْنَهُمْbetween them فَلَاۤthen (there is) no اِثْمَsin عَلَیْهِ ؕon him اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌAll-Merciful ۟۠(182) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] كُتِبَIs prescribed عَلَیْكُمُfor you الصِّیَامُ[the] fasting كَمَاas كُتِبَwas prescribed عَلَیto الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْfrom قَبْلِكُمْbefore you لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَتَّقُوْنَ(become) righteous ۟ۙ(183) اَیَّامًا(Fasting for) days مَّعْدُوْدٰتٍ ؕnumbered فَمَنْSo whoever كَانَis مِنْكُمْamong you مَّرِیْضًاsick اَوْor عَلٰیon سَفَرٍa journey فَعِدَّةٌthen a prescribed number مِّنْof اَیَّامٍdays اُخَرَ ؕother وَعَلَیAnd on الَّذِیْنَthose who یُطِیْقُوْنَهٗcan afford it فِدْیَةٌa ransom طَعَامُ(of) feeding مِسْكِیْنٍ ؕa poor فَمَنْAnd whoever تَطَوَّعَvolunteers خَیْرًاgood فَهُوَthen it خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّهٗ ؕfor him وَاَنْAnd to تَصُوْمُوْاfast خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(184) شَهْرُMonth رَمَضَانَ(of) Ramadhaan الَّذِیْۤ(is) that اُنْزِلَwas revealed فِیْهِtherein الْقُرْاٰنُthe Quran هُدًیa Guidance لِّلنَّاسِfor mankind وَبَیِّنٰتٍand clear proofs مِّنَof الْهُدٰی[the] Guidance وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚand the Criterion فَمَنْSo whoever شَهِدَwitnesses مِنْكُمُamong you الشَّهْرَthe month فَلْیَصُمْهُ ؕthen he should fast in it وَمَنْand whoever كَانَis مَرِیْضًاsick اَوْor عَلٰیon سَفَرٍa journey فَعِدَّةٌthen prescribed number (should be made up) مِّنْfrom اَیَّامٍdays اُخَرَ ؕother یُرِیْدُIntends اللّٰهُAllah بِكُمُfor you الْیُسْرَ[the] ease وَلَاand not یُرِیْدُintends بِكُمُfor you الْعُسْرَ ؗ[the] hardship وَلِتُكْمِلُواso that you complete الْعِدَّةَthe prescribed period وَلِتُكَبِّرُواand that you magnify اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیfor مَا[what] هَدٰىكُمْHe guided you وَلَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَ(be) grateful ۟(185) وَاِذَاAnd when سَاَلَكَask you عِبَادِیْMy servants عَنِّیْabout Me فَاِنِّیْthen indeed I am قَرِیْبٌ ؕnear اُجِیْبُI respond دَعْوَةَ(to the) invocation الدَّاعِ(of) the supplicant اِذَاwhen دَعَانِ ۙhe calls Me فَلْیَسْتَجِیْبُوْاSo let them respond لِیْto Me وَلْیُؤْمِنُوْاand let them believe بِیْin Me لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْشُدُوْنَ(be) led aright ۟(186) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 28 - Juz 2 اُحِلَّPermitted لَكُمْfor you لَیْلَةَ(in the) nights الصِّیَامِ(of) fasting الرَّفَثُ(is) the approach اِلٰیto نِسَآىِٕكُمْ ؕyour wives هُنَّThey لِبَاسٌ(are) garments لَّكُمْfor you وَاَنْتُمْand you لِبَاسٌ(are) garments لَّهُنَّ ؕfor them عَلِمَKnows اللّٰهُAllah اَنَّكُمْthat you كُنْتُمْused to تَخْتَانُوْنَdeceive اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves فَتَابَso He turned عَلَیْكُمْtowards you وَعَفَاand He forgave عَنْكُمْ ۚ[on] you فَالْـٰٔنَSo now بَاشِرُوْهُنَّhave relations with them وَابْتَغُوْاand seek مَاwhat كَتَبَhas ordained اللّٰهُAllah لَكُمْ ۪for you وَكُلُوْاAnd eat وَاشْرَبُوْاand drink حَتّٰیuntil یَتَبَیَّنَbecomes distinct لَكُمُto you الْخَیْطُthe thread الْاَبْیَضُ[the] white مِنَfrom الْخَیْطِthe thread الْاَسْوَدِ[the] black مِنَof الْفَجْرِ ۪[the] dawn ثُمَّThen اَتِمُّواcomplete الصِّیَامَthe fast اِلَیtill الَّیْلِ ۚthe night وَلَاAnd (do) not تُبَاشِرُوْهُنَّhave relations with them وَاَنْتُمْwhile you عٰكِفُوْنَ ۙ(are) secluded فِیin الْمَسٰجِدِ ؕthe masajid تِلْكَThese حُدُوْدُ(are the) limits اللّٰهِ(set by) Allah فَلَاso (do) not تَقْرَبُوْهَا ؕapproach them كَذٰلِكَThus یُبَیِّنُmakes clear اللّٰهُAllah اٰیٰتِهٖHis verses لِلنَّاسِfor [the] people لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَّقُوْنَ(become) righteous ۟(187) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَاْكُلُوْۤاeat اَمْوَالَكُمْyour properties بَیْنَكُمْamong yourselves بِالْبَاطِلِwrongfully وَتُدْلُوْاand present بِهَاۤ[with] it اِلَیto الْحُكَّامِthe authorities لِتَاْكُلُوْاso that you may eat فَرِیْقًاa portion مِّنْfrom اَمْوَالِ(the) wealth النَّاسِ(of) the people بِالْاِثْمِsinfully وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟۠(188) یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout الْاَهِلَّةِ ؕthe new moons قُلْSay هِیَThey مَوَاقِیْتُ(are) indicators of periods لِلنَّاسِfor the people وَالْحَجِّ ؕand (for) the Hajj وَلَیْسَAnd it is not الْبِرُّ[the] righteousness بِاَنْthat تَاْتُواyou come الْبُیُوْتَ(to) the houses مِنْfrom ظُهُوْرِهَاtheir backs وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but الْبِرَّ[the] righteous مَنِ(is one) who اتَّقٰی ۚfears (Allah) وَاْتُواAnd come الْبُیُوْتَ(to) the houses مِنْfrom اَبْوَابِهَا ۪their doors وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُفْلِحُوْنَ(be) successful ۟(189) وَقَاتِلُوْاAnd fight فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah الَّذِیْنَthose who یُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْfight you وَلَاand (do) not تَعْتَدُوْا ؕtransgress اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlike الْمُعْتَدِیْنَthe transgressors ۟(190) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 29 - Juz 2 وَاقْتُلُوْهُمْAnd kill them حَیْثُwherever ثَقِفْتُمُوْهُمْyou find them وَاَخْرِجُوْهُمْand drive them out مِّنْfrom حَیْثُwherever اَخْرَجُوْكُمْthey drove you out وَالْفِتْنَةُand [the] oppression اَشَدُّ(is) worse مِنَthan الْقَتْلِ ۚ[the] killing وَلَاAnd (do) not تُقٰتِلُوْهُمْfight them عِنْدَnear الْمَسْجِدِAl-Masjid الْحَرَامِAl-Haraam حَتّٰیuntil یُقٰتِلُوْكُمْthey fight you فِیْهِ ۚin it فَاِنْThen if قٰتَلُوْكُمْthey fight you فَاقْتُلُوْهُمْ ؕthen kill them كَذٰلِكَSuch جَزَآءُ(is the) reward الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers ۟(191) فَاِنِThen if انْتَهَوْاthey cease فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(192) وَقٰتِلُوْهُمْAnd fight (against) them حَتّٰیuntil لَاnot تَكُوْنَ(there) is فِتْنَةٌoppression وَّیَكُوْنَand becomes الدِّیْنُthe religion لِلّٰهِ ؕfor Allah فَاِنِThen if انْتَهَوْاthey cease فَلَاthen (let there be) no عُدْوَانَhostility اِلَّاexcept عَلَیagainst الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe oppressors ۟(193) اَلشَّهْرُThe month الْحَرَامُ[the] sacred بِالشَّهْرِ(is) for the month الْحَرَامِ[the] sacred وَالْحُرُمٰتُand for all the violations قِصَاصٌ ؕ(is) legal retribution فَمَنِThen whoever اعْتَدٰیtransgressed عَلَیْكُمْupon you فَاعْتَدُوْاthen you transgress عَلَیْهِon him بِمِثْلِin (the) same manner مَا(as) اعْتَدٰیhe transgressed عَلَیْكُمْ ۪upon you وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الْمُتَّقِیْنَthose who fear (Him) ۟(194) وَاَنْفِقُوْاAnd spend فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand (do) not تُلْقُوْاthrow (yourselves) بِاَیْدِیْكُمْ[with your hands] اِلَیinto التَّهْلُكَةِ ۛۖۚ[the] destruction وَاَحْسِنُوْا ۛۚAnd do good اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah یُحِبُّloves الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(195) وَاَتِمُّواAnd complete الْحَجَّthe Hajj وَالْعُمْرَةَand the Umrah لِلّٰهِ ؕfor Allah فَاِنْAnd if اُحْصِرْتُمْyou are held back فَمَاthen (offer) whatever اسْتَیْسَرَ(can be) obtained with ease مِنَof الْهَدْیِ ۚthe sacrificial animal وَلَاAnd (do) not تَحْلِقُوْاshave رُءُوْسَكُمْyour heads حَتّٰیuntil یَبْلُغَreaches الْهَدْیُthe sacrificial animal مَحِلَّهٗ ؕ(to) its destination فَمَنْThen whoever كَانَis مِنْكُمْamong you مَّرِیْضًاill اَوْor بِهٖۤhe (has) اَذًیan ailment مِّنْof رَّاْسِهٖhis head فَفِدْیَةٌthen a ransom مِّنْof صِیَامٍfasting اَوْor صَدَقَةٍcharity اَوْor نُسُكٍ ۚsacrifice فَاِذَاۤThen when اَمِنْتُمْ ۥyou are secure فَمَنْthen whoever تَمَتَّعَtook advantage بِالْعُمْرَةِof the Umrah اِلَیfollowed الْحَجِّ(by) the Hajj فَمَاthen (offer) whatever اسْتَیْسَرَ(can be) obtained with ease مِنَof الْهَدْیِ ۚthe sacrificial animal فَمَنْBut whoever لَّمْ(can) not یَجِدْfind فَصِیَامُthen a fast ثَلٰثَةِ(of) three اَیَّامٍdays فِیduring الْحَجِّthe Hajj وَسَبْعَةٍand seven (days) اِذَاwhen رَجَعْتُمْ ؕyou return تِلْكَThis عَشَرَةٌ(is) ten (days) كَامِلَةٌ ؕin all ذٰلِكَThat لِمَنْ(is) for (the one) whose لَّمْnot یَكُنْis اَهْلُهٗhis family حَاضِرِیpresent الْمَسْجِدِ(near) Al-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ؕAl-Haraam وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِ(in) retribution ۟۠(196) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 30 - Juz 2 اَلْحَجُّ(For) the Hajj اَشْهُرٌ(are) months مَّعْلُوْمٰتٌ ۚwell known فَمَنْthen whoever فَرَضَundertakes فِیْهِنَّtherein الْحَجَّthe Hajj فَلَاthen no رَفَثَsexual relations وَلَاand no فُسُوْقَ ۙwickedness وَلَاand no جِدَالَquarrelling فِیduring الْحَجِّ ؕthe Hajj وَمَاAnd whatever تَفْعَلُوْاyou do مِنْof خَیْرٍgood یَّعْلَمْهُknows it اللّٰهُ ؔؕAllah وَتَزَوَّدُوْاAnd take provision فَاِنَّ(but) indeed خَیْرَ(the) best الزَّادِprovision التَّقْوٰی ؗ(is) righteousness وَاتَّقُوْنِAnd fear Me یٰۤاُولِیO men الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding ۟(197) لَیْسَNot is عَلَیْكُمْon you جُنَاحٌany sin اَنْthat تَبْتَغُوْاyou seek فَضْلًاbounty مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord فَاِذَاۤAnd when اَفَضْتُمْyou depart مِّنْfrom عَرَفٰتٍ(Mount) Arafat فَاذْكُرُواthen remember اللّٰهَAllah عِنْدَnear الْمَشْعَرِthe Monument الْحَرَامِ ۪[the] Sacred وَاذْكُرُوْهُAnd remember Him كَمَاas هَدٰىكُمْ ۚHe (has) guided you وَاِنْ[and] though كُنْتُمْyou were مِّنْ[from] قَبْلِهٖbefore [it] لَمِنَsurely among الضَّآلِّیْنَthose who went astray ۟(198) ثُمَّThen اَفِیْضُوْاdepart مِنْfrom حَیْثُwherever اَفَاضَdepart النَّاسُthe people وَاسْتَغْفِرُواand ask forgiveness اللّٰهَ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(199) فَاِذَاThen when قَضَیْتُمْyou complete[d] مَّنَاسِكَكُمْyour acts of worship فَاذْكُرُواthen remember اللّٰهَAllah كَذِكْرِكُمْas you remember اٰبَآءَكُمْyour forefathers اَوْor اَشَدَّ(with) greater ذِكْرًا ؕremembrance فَمِنَAnd from النَّاسِthe people مَنْwho یَّقُوْلُsay رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اٰتِنَاGrant us فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَمَاAnd not لَهٗfor him فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter مِنْ[of] خَلَاقٍany share ۟(200) وَمِنْهُمْAnd from those مَّنْwho یَّقُوْلُsay رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اٰتِنَاGrant us فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world حَسَنَةًgood وَّفِیand in الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter حَسَنَةًgood وَّقِنَاand save us عَذَابَ(from the) punishment النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟(201) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمْfor them نَصِیْبٌ(is) a share مِّمَّاof what كَسَبُوْا ؕthey earned وَاللّٰهُand Allah سَرِیْعُ(is) swift الْحِسَابِ(in taking) account ۟(202) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 31 - Juz 2 وَاذْكُرُواAnd remember اللّٰهَAllah فِیْۤduring اَیَّامٍdays مَّعْدُوْدٰتٍ ؕnumbered فَمَنْThen (he) who تَعَجَّلَhurries فِیْin یَوْمَیْنِtwo days فَلَاۤthen no اِثْمَsin عَلَیْهِ ۚupon him وَمَنْand whoever تَاَخَّرَdelays فَلَاۤthen no اِثْمَsin عَلَیْهِ ۙupon him لِمَنِfor (the one) who اتَّقٰی ؕfears وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّكُمْthat you اِلَیْهِunto Him تُحْشَرُوْنَwill be gathered ۟(203) وَمِنَAnd of النَّاسِthe people مَنْ(is the one) who یُّعْجِبُكَpleases you قَوْلُهٗ(with) his speech فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَیُشْهِدُand he calls to witness اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیon مَاwhat فِیْ(is) in قَلْبِهٖ ۙhis heart وَهُوَand he اَلَدُّ(is) the most quarrelsome الْخِصَامِ(of) opponents ۟(204) وَاِذَاAnd when تَوَلّٰیhe turns away سَعٰیhe strives فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth لِیُفْسِدَto spread corruption فِیْهَا[in it] وَیُهْلِكَand destroys الْحَرْثَthe crops وَالنَّسْلَ ؕand progeny وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove الْفَسَادَ[the] corruption ۟(205) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit is said لَهُto him اتَّقِFear اللّٰهَAllah اَخَذَتْهُtakes him الْعِزَّةُ(his) pride بِالْاِثْمِto [the] sins فَحَسْبُهٗThen enough for him جَهَنَّمُ ؕ(is) Hell وَلَبِئْسَ[and] surely an evil الْمِهَادُ[the] resting-place ۟(206) وَمِنَAnd of النَّاسِthe people مَنْ(is the one) who یَّشْرِیْsells نَفْسَهُhis own self ابْتِغَآءَseeking مَرْضَاتِpleasure اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah رَءُوْفٌۢ(is) full of Kindness بِالْعِبَادِto His servants ۟(207) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُواbelieve[d] ادْخُلُوْاEnter فِیin السِّلْمِIslam كَآفَّةً ۪completely وَّلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعُوْاfollow خُطُوٰتِfootsteps الشَّیْطٰنِ ؕ(of) the Shaitaan اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَكُمْ(is) for you عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِیْنٌopen ۟(208) فَاِنْThen if زَلَلْتُمْyou slip مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَتْكُمُcame to you الْبَیِّنٰتُ(from) the clear proofs فَاعْلَمُوْۤاthen know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(209) هَلْAre یَنْظُرُوْنَthey waiting اِلَّاۤ[except] اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَهُمُcomes to them اللّٰهُAllah فِیْin ظُلَلٍ(the) shadows مِّنَof الْغَمَامِ[the] clouds وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُand the Angels وَقُضِیَand is decreed الْاَمْرُ ؕthe matter وَاِلَیAnd to اللّٰهِAllah تُرْجَعُreturn الْاُمُوْرُ(all) the matters ۟۠(210) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 32 - Juz 2 سَلْAsk بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel كَمْhow many اٰتَیْنٰهُمْWe gave them مِّنْof اٰیَةٍۭ(the) Sign(s) بَیِّنَةٍ ؕclear وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّبَدِّلْchanges نِعْمَةَFavor اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَتْهُit (has) come to him فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِin [the] chastising ۟(211) زُیِّنَBeautified لِلَّذِیْنَfor those who كَفَرُواdisbelieve[d] الْحَیٰوةُ(is) the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَیَسْخَرُوْنَand they ridicule مِنَ[of] الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْا ۘbelieve[d] وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اتَّقَوْاfear (Allah) فَوْقَهُمْ(they will be) above them یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) Resurrection وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَرْزُقُprovides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills بِغَیْرِwithout حِسَابٍmeasure ۟(212) كَانَWas النَّاسُmankind اُمَّةًa community وَّاحِدَةً ۫single فَبَعَثَthen raised up اللّٰهُAllah النَّبِیّٖنَ[the] Prophets مُبَشِّرِیْنَ(as) bearers of glad tidings وَمُنْذِرِیْنَ ۪and (as) warners وَاَنْزَلَand sent down مَعَهُمُwith them الْكِتٰبَthe Book بِالْحَقِّin [the] truth لِیَحْكُمَto judge بَیْنَbetween النَّاسِ[the] people فِیْمَاin what اخْتَلَفُوْاthey differed فِیْهِ ؕ[in it] وَمَاAnd (did) not اخْتَلَفَdiffer[ed] فِیْهِin it اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُوْهُwere given it مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَتْهُمُcame to them الْبَیِّنٰتُthe clear proofs بَغْیًا(out of) jealousy بَیْنَهُمْ ۚamong themselves فَهَدَیAnd guided اللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] لِمَاregarding what اخْتَلَفُوْاthey differed فِیْهِ[in it] مِنَof الْحَقِّthe Truth بِاِذْنِهٖ ؕwith His permission وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَهْدِیْguides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍa path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟(213) اَمْOr حَسِبْتُمْ(do) you think اَنْthat تَدْخُلُواyou will enter الْجَنَّةَParadise وَلَمَّاwhile not یَاْتِكُمْ(has) come to you مَّثَلُlike (came to) الَّذِیْنَthose who خَلَوْاpassed away مِنْfrom قَبْلِكُمْ ؕbefore you مَسَّتْهُمُTouched them الْبَاْسَآءُ[the] adversity وَالضَّرَّآءُand [the] hardship وَزُلْزِلُوْاand they were shaken حَتّٰیuntil یَقُوْلَsaid الرَّسُوْلُthe Messenger وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗwith him مَتٰیWhen نَصْرُ[will] (the) help اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah (come) اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّ[Indeed] نَصْرَhelp اللّٰهِ(of) Allah قَرِیْبٌ(is) near ۟(214) یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you مَاذَاwhat یُنْفِقُوْنَ ؕ۬they (should) spend قُلْSay مَاۤWhatever اَنْفَقْتُمْyou spend مِّنْof خَیْرٍgood فَلِلْوَالِدَیْنِ(is) for parents وَالْاَقْرَبِیْنَand the relatives وَالْیَتٰمٰیand the orphans وَالْمَسٰكِیْنِand the needy وَابْنِand (of) السَّبِیْلِ ؕthe wayfarer وَمَاAnd whatever تَفْعَلُوْاyou do مِنْof خَیْرٍgood فَاِنَّSo indeed اللّٰهَAllah بِهٖof it عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Aware ۟(215) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 33 - Juz 2 كُتِبَIs prescribed عَلَیْكُمُupon you الْقِتَالُ[the] fighting وَهُوَwhile it كُرْهٌ(is) hateful لَّكُمْ ۚto you وَعَسٰۤیBut perhaps اَنْ[that] تَكْرَهُوْاyou dislike شَیْـًٔاa thing وَّهُوَand it خَیْرٌ(is) good لَّكُمْ ۚfor you وَعَسٰۤیand perhaps اَنْ[that] تُحِبُّوْاyou love شَیْـًٔاa thing وَّهُوَand it شَرٌّ(is) bad لَّكُمْ ؕfor you وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَعْلَمُknows وَاَنْتُمْwhile you لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟۠(216) یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout الشَّهْرِthe month الْحَرَامِ[the] sacred قِتَالٍ(concerning) fighting فِیْهِ ؕin it قُلْSay قِتَالٌFighting فِیْهِtherein كَبِیْرٌ ؕ(is) a great (sin) وَصَدٌّbut hindering (people) عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَكُفْرٌand disbelief بِهٖin Him وَالْمَسْجِدِand (preventing access to) Al-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ۗAl-Haraam وَاِخْرَاجُand driving out اَهْلِهٖits people مِنْهُfrom it اَكْبَرُ(is) greater (sin) عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِ ۚAllah وَالْفِتْنَةُAnd [the] oppression اَكْبَرُ(is) greater مِنَthan الْقَتْلِ ؕ[the] killing وَلَاAnd not یَزَالُوْنَthey will cease یُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ(to) fight with you حَتّٰیuntil یَرُدُّوْكُمْthey turn you away عَنْfrom دِیْنِكُمْyour religion اِنِif اسْتَطَاعُوْا ؕthey are able وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّرْتَدِدْturns away مِنْكُمْamong you عَنْfrom دِیْنِهٖhis religion فَیَمُتْthen dies وَهُوَwhile he كَافِرٌ(is) a disbeliever فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَfor those حَبِطَتْbecame worthless اَعْمَالُهُمْtheir deeds فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚand the Hereafter وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those اَصْحٰبُ(are) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(217) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَالَّذِیْنَand those who هَاجَرُوْاemigrated وَجٰهَدُوْاand strove فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ۙ(of) Allah اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose یَرْجُوْنَthey hope رَحْمَتَ(for) Mercy اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(218) یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout الْخَمْرِ[the] intoxicants وَالْمَیْسِرِ ؕand [the] games of chance قُلْSay فِیْهِمَاۤIn both of them اِثْمٌ(is) a sin كَبِیْرٌgreat وَّمَنَافِعُand (some) benefits لِلنَّاسِ ؗfor [the] people وَاِثْمُهُمَاۤBut sin of both of them اَكْبَرُ(is) greater مِنْthan نَّفْعِهِمَا ؕ(the) benefit of (the) two وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you مَاذَاwhat یُنْفِقُوْنَ ؕ۬they (should) spend قُلِSay الْعَفْوَؕThe surplus كَذٰلِكَThus یُبَیِّنُmakes clear اللّٰهُAllah لَكُمُto you الْاٰیٰتِ[the] Verses لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَتَفَكَّرُوْنَponder ۟ۙ(219) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 34 - Juz 2 فِیConcerning الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ؕand the Hereafter وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout الْیَتٰمٰی ؕthe orphans قُلْSay اِصْلَاحٌSetting right (their affairs) لَّهُمْfor them خَیْرٌ ؕ(is) best وَاِنْAnd if تُخَالِطُوْهُمْyou associate with them فَاِخْوَانُكُمْ ؕthen they (are) your brothers وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَعْلَمُknows الْمُفْسِدَthe corrupter مِنَfrom الْمُصْلِحِ ؕthe amender وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَ(had) willed اللّٰهُAllah لَاَعْنَتَكُمْ ؕsurely He (could have) put you in difficulties اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(220) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَنْكِحُوا[you] marry الْمُشْرِكٰتِ[the] polytheistic women حَتّٰیuntil یُؤْمِنَّ ؕthey believe وَلَاَمَةٌAnd a bondwoman مُّؤْمِنَةٌ(who is) believing خَیْرٌ(is) better مِّنْthan مُّشْرِكَةٍa polytheistic woman وَّلَوْ[and] even if اَعْجَبَتْكُمْ ۚshe pleases you وَلَاAnd (do) not تُنْكِحُواgive in marriage (your women) الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ(to) [the] polytheistic men حَتّٰیuntil یُؤْمِنُوْا ؕthey believe وَلَعَبْدٌand a bondman مُّؤْمِنٌ(who is) believing خَیْرٌ(is) better مِّنْthan مُّشْرِكٍa polytheistic man وَّلَوْ[and] even if اَعْجَبَكُمْ ؕhe pleases you اُولٰٓىِٕكَ[Those] یَدْعُوْنَthey invite اِلَیto النَّارِ ۖۚthe Fire وَاللّٰهُand Allah یَدْعُوْۤاinvites اِلَیto الْجَنَّةِParadise وَالْمَغْفِرَةِand [the] forgiveness بِاِذْنِهٖ ۚby His permission وَیُبَیِّنُAnd He makes clear اٰیٰتِهٖHis Verses لِلنَّاسِfor the people لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟۠(221) وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you عَنِabout الْمَحِیْضِ ؕ[the] menstruation قُلْSay هُوَIt اَذًی ۙ(is) a hurt فَاعْتَزِلُواso keep away (from) النِّسَآءَ[the] women فِیduring الْمَحِیْضِ ۙ(their) [the] menstruation وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْرَبُوْهُنَّapproach them حَتّٰیuntil یَطْهُرْنَ ۚthey are cleansed فَاِذَاThen when تَطَهَّرْنَthey are purified فَاْتُوْهُنَّthen come to them مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere اَمَرَكُمُhas ordered you اللّٰهُ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُحِبُّloves التَّوَّابِیْنَthose who turn in repentance وَیُحِبُّand loves الْمُتَطَهِّرِیْنَthose who purify themselves ۟(222) نِسَآؤُكُمْYour wives حَرْثٌ(are) a tilth لَّكُمْ ۪for you فَاْتُوْاso come حَرْثَكُمْ(to) your tilth اَنّٰیwhen شِئْتُمْ ؗyou wish وَقَدِّمُوْاand send forth (good deeds) لِاَنْفُسِكُمْ ؕfor yourselves وَاتَّقُواAnd be conscious اللّٰهَ(of) Allah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّكُمْthat you مُّلٰقُوْهُ ؕ(will) meet Him وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(to) the believers ۟(223) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَجْعَلُواmake اللّٰهَAllah's (name) عُرْضَةًan excuse لِّاَیْمَانِكُمْin your oaths اَنْthat تَبَرُّوْاyou do good وَتَتَّقُوْاand be righteous وَتُصْلِحُوْاand make peace بَیْنَbetween النَّاسِ ؕ[the] people وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(224) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 35 - Juz 2 لَاNot یُؤَاخِذُكُمُwill take you to task اللّٰهُAllah بِاللَّغْوِfor (what is) unintentional فِیْۤin اَیْمَانِكُمْyour oaths وَلٰكِنْ[and] but یُّؤَاخِذُكُمْHe takes you to task بِمَاfor what كَسَبَتْ(have) earned قُلُوْبُكُمْ ؕyour hearts وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving حَلِیْمٌMost Forbearing ۟(225) لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who یُؤْلُوْنَswear (off) مِنْfrom نِّسَآىِٕهِمْtheir wives تَرَبُّصُ(is a) waiting (of) اَرْبَعَةِfour اَشْهُرٍ ۚmonths فَاِنْthen if فَآءُوْthey return فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(226) وَاِنْAnd if عَزَمُواthey resolve الطَّلَاقَ(on) [the] divorce فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(227) وَالْمُطَلَّقٰتُAnd the women who are divorced یَتَرَبَّصْنَshall wait بِاَنْفُسِهِنَّconcerning themselves ثَلٰثَةَ(for) three قُرُوْٓءٍ ؕmonthly periods وَلَاAnd (it is) not یَحِلُّlawful لَهُنَّfor them اَنْthat یَّكْتُمْنَthey conceal مَاwhat خَلَقَ(has been) created اللّٰهُ(by) Allah فِیْۤin اَرْحَامِهِنَّtheir wombs اِنْif كُنَّthey یُؤْمِنَّbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِ ؕ[the] Last وَبُعُوْلَتُهُنَّAnd their husbands اَحَقُّ(have) better right بِرَدِّهِنَّto take them back فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat (period) اِنْif اَرَادُوْۤاthey wish اِصْلَاحًا ؕ(for) reconciliation وَلَهُنَّAnd for them مِثْلُ(is the) like الَّذِیْ(of) that which عَلَیْهِنَّ(is) on them بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ۪in a reasonable manner وَلِلرِّجَالِand for the men عَلَیْهِنَّover them دَرَجَةٌ ؕ(is) a degree وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟۠(228) اَلطَّلَاقُThe divorce مَرَّتٰنِ ۪(is) twice فَاِمْسَاكٌThen to retain بِمَعْرُوْفٍin a reasonable manner اَوْor تَسْرِیْحٌto release (her) بِاِحْسَانٍ ؕwith kindness وَلَاAnd (it is) not یَحِلُّlawful لَكُمْfor you اَنْthat تَاْخُذُوْاyou take (back) مِمَّاۤwhatever اٰتَیْتُمُوْهُنَّyou have given them شَیْـًٔاanything اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْif یَّخَافَاۤboth fear اَلَّاthat not یُقِیْمَاthey both (can) keep حُدُوْدَ(the) limits اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah فَاِنْBut if خِفْتُمْyou fear اَلَّاthat not یُقِیْمَاthey both (can) keep حُدُوْدَ(the) limits اللّٰهِ ۙ(of) Allah فَلَاthen (there is) no جُنَاحَsin عَلَیْهِمَاon both of them فِیْمَاin what افْتَدَتْshe ransoms بِهٖ ؕconcerning it تِلْكَThese حُدُوْدُ(are the) limits اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَلَاso (do) not تَعْتَدُوْهَا ۚtransgress them وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّتَعَدَّtransgresses حُدُوْدَ(the) limits اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُthey الظّٰلِمُوْنَ(are) the wrongdoers ۟(229) فَاِنْThen if طَلَّقَهَاhe divorces her فَلَاthen (she is) not تَحِلُّlawful لَهٗfor him مِنْfrom بَعْدُafter (that) حَتّٰیuntil تَنْكِحَshe marries زَوْجًاa spouse غَیْرَهٗ ؕother than him فَاِنْThen if طَلَّقَهَاhe divorces her فَلَاthen no جُنَاحَsin عَلَیْهِمَاۤon them اَنْif یَّتَرَاجَعَاۤthey return to each other اِنْif ظَنَّاۤthey believe اَنْthat یُّقِیْمَاthey (will be able to) keep حُدُوْدَ(the) limits اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَتِلْكَAnd these حُدُوْدُ(are the) limits اللّٰهِ(of) Allah یُبَیِّنُهَاHe makes them clear لِقَوْمٍto a people یَّعْلَمُوْنَwho know ۟(230) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 36 - Juz 2 وَاِذَاAnd when طَلَّقْتُمُyou divorce النِّسَآءَthe women فَبَلَغْنَand they reach اَجَلَهُنَّtheir (waiting) term فَاَمْسِكُوْهُنَّthen retain them بِمَعْرُوْفٍin a fair manner اَوْor سَرِّحُوْهُنَّrelease them بِمَعْرُوْفٍ ۪in a fair manner وَلَاAnd (do) not تُمْسِكُوْهُنَّretain them ضِرَارًا(to) hurt لِّتَعْتَدُوْا ۚso that you transgress وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّفْعَلْdoes ذٰلِكَthat فَقَدْthen indeed ظَلَمَhe wronged نَفْسَهٗ ؕhimself وَلَاAnd (do) not تَتَّخِذُوْۤاtake اٰیٰتِ(the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah هُزُوًا ؗ(in) jest وَّاذْكُرُوْاand remember نِعْمَتَ(the) Favors اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَمَاۤand what اَنْزَلَ(is) revealed عَلَیْكُمْto you مِّنَof الْكِتٰبِthe Book وَالْحِكْمَةِand [the] wisdom یَعِظُكُمْHe instructs you بِهٖ ؕwith it وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah (is) بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knower ۟۠(231) وَاِذَاAnd when طَلَّقْتُمُyou divorce النِّسَآءَ[the] women فَبَلَغْنَand they reached اَجَلَهُنَّtheir (waiting) term فَلَاthen (do) not تَعْضُلُوْهُنَّhinder them اَنْ[that] یَّنْكِحْنَ(from) marrying اَزْوَاجَهُنَّtheir husbands اِذَاwhen تَرَاضَوْاthey agree بَیْنَهُمْbetween themselves بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕin a fair manner ذٰلِكَThat یُوْعَظُis admonished بِهٖwith it مَنْwhoever كَانَ[is] مِنْكُمْamong you یُؤْمِنُbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِ ؕ[the] Last ذٰلِكُمْthat اَزْكٰی(is) more virtuous لَكُمْfor you وَاَطْهَرُ ؕand more purer وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَعْلَمُknows وَاَنْتُمْand you لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(232) وَالْوَالِدٰتُAnd the mothers یُرْضِعْنَshall suckle اَوْلَادَهُنَّtheir children حَوْلَیْنِ(for) two years كَامِلَیْنِcomplete لِمَنْfor whoever اَرَادَwishes اَنْto یُّتِمَّcomplete الرَّضَاعَةَ ؕthe suckling وَعَلَیAnd upon الْمَوْلُوْدِthe father لَهٗ(on) him رِزْقُهُنَّ(is) their provision وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّand their clothing بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕin a fair manner لَاNot تُكَلَّفُis burdened نَفْسٌany soul اِلَّاexcept وُسْعَهَا ۚits capacity لَاNot تُضَآرَّmade to suffer وَالِدَةٌ(the) mother بِوَلَدِهَاbecause of her child وَلَاand not مَوْلُوْدٌ(the) father لَّهٗ(be) بِوَلَدِهٖ ۗbecause of his child وَعَلَیAnd on الْوَارِثِthe (father's) heir مِثْلُ(is a duty) like ذٰلِكَ ۚthat (of the father) فَاِنْThen if اَرَادَاthey both desire فِصَالًاweaning عَنْthrough تَرَاضٍmutual consent مِّنْهُمَاof both of them وَتَشَاوُرٍand consultation فَلَاthen no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْهِمَا ؕon both of them وَاِنْAnd if اَرَدْتُّمْyou want اَنْto تَسْتَرْضِعُوْۤاask another women to suckle اَوْلَادَكُمْyour child فَلَاthen (there is) no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْكُمْon you اِذَاwhen سَلَّمْتُمْyou pay مَّاۤwhat اٰتَیْتُمْyou give بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕin a fair manner وَاتَّقُواAnd fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(233) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 37 - Juz 2 وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُتَوَفَّوْنَpass away مِنْكُمْamong you وَیَذَرُوْنَand leave behind اَزْوَاجًاwives یَّتَرَبَّصْنَ(the widows) should wait بِاَنْفُسِهِنَّfor themselves اَرْبَعَةَ(for) four اَشْهُرٍmonths وَّعَشْرًا ۚand ten (days) فَاِذَاThen when بَلَغْنَthey reach اَجَلَهُنَّtheir (specified) term فَلَاthen (there is) no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْكُمْupon you فِیْمَاfor what فَعَلْنَthey do فِیْۤconcerning اَنْفُسِهِنَّthemselves بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕin a fair manner وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do خَبِیْرٌ(is) All-Aware ۟(234) وَلَاAnd (there is) no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْكُمْupon you فِیْمَاin what عَرَّضْتُمْyou hint بِهٖ[with it] مِنْof خِطْبَةِmarriage proposal النِّسَآءِ[to] the women اَوْor اَكْنَنْتُمْyou conceal it فِیْۤin اَنْفُسِكُمْ ؕyourselves عَلِمَKnows اللّٰهُAllah اَنَّكُمْthat you سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّwill mention them وَلٰكِنْ[and] but لَّا(do) not تُوَاعِدُوْهُنَّpromise them (widows) سِرًّاsecretly اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَقُوْلُوْاyou say قَوْلًاa saying مَّعْرُوْفًا ؕ۬honorable وَلَاAnd (do) not تَعْزِمُوْاresolve (on) عُقْدَةَthe knot النِّكَاحِ(of) marriage حَتّٰیuntil یَبْلُغَreaches الْكِتٰبُthe prescribed term اَجَلَهٗ ؕits end وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat فِیْۤ(is) within اَنْفُسِكُمْyourselves فَاحْذَرُوْهُ ۚso beware of Him وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving حَلِیْمٌMost Forbearing ۟۠(235) لَا(There is) no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْكُمْupon you اِنْif طَلَّقْتُمُyou divorce النِّسَآءَ[the] women مَاwhom لَمْnot تَمَسُّوْهُنَّyou have touched اَوْnor تَفْرِضُوْاyou specified لَهُنَّfor them فَرِیْضَةً ۖۚan obligation (dower) وَّمَتِّعُوْهُنَّ ۚAnd make provision for them عَلَیupon الْمُوْسِعِthe wealthy قَدَرُهٗaccording to his means وَعَلَیand upon الْمُقْتِرِthe poor قَدَرُهٗ ۚaccording to his means مَتَاعًاa provision بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ۚin a fair manner حَقًّاa duty عَلَیupon الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(236) وَاِنْAnd if طَلَّقْتُمُوْهُنَّyou divorce them مِنْfrom قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] تَمَسُّوْهُنَّyou (have) touched them وَقَدْwhile already فَرَضْتُمْyou have specified لَهُنَّfor them فَرِیْضَةًan obligation (dower) فَنِصْفُthen (give) half مَا(of) what فَرَضْتُمْyou have specified اِلَّاۤunless اَنْ[that] یَّعْفُوْنَthey (women) forgo (it) اَوْor یَعْفُوَاforgoes الَّذِیْthe one بِیَدِهٖin whose hands عُقْدَةُ(is the) knot النِّكَاحِ ؕ(of) the marriage وَاَنْAnd that تَعْفُوْۤاyou forgo اَقْرَبُ(is) nearer لِلتَّقْوٰی ؕto [the] righteousness وَلَاAnd (do) not تَنْسَوُاforget الْفَضْلَthe graciousness بَیْنَكُمْ ؕamong you اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(237) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 38 - Juz 2 حٰفِظُوْاGuard strictly عَلَی[on] الصَّلَوٰتِthe prayers وَالصَّلٰوةِand the prayer الْوُسْطٰی ۗ[the] middle وَقُوْمُوْاand stand up لِلّٰهِfor Allah قٰنِتِیْنَdevoutly obedient ۟(238) فَاِنْAnd if خِفْتُمْyou fear فَرِجَالًاthen (pray) on foot اَوْor رُكْبَانًا ۚriding فَاِذَاۤThen when اَمِنْتُمْyou are secure فَاذْكُرُواthen remember اللّٰهَAllah كَمَاas عَلَّمَكُمْHe (has) taught you مَّاwhat لَمْnot تَكُوْنُوْاyou were تَعْلَمُوْنَknowing ۟(239) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُتَوَفَّوْنَdie مِنْكُمْamong you وَیَذَرُوْنَand leave behind اَزْوَاجًا ۖۚ(their) wives وَّصِیَّةً(should make) a will لِّاَزْوَاجِهِمْfor their wives مَّتَاعًاprovision اِلَیfor الْحَوْلِthe year غَیْرَwithout اِخْرَاجٍ ۚdriving (them) out فَاِنْBut if خَرَجْنَthey leave فَلَاthen no جُنَاحَblame عَلَیْكُمْupon you فِیْin مَاwhat فَعَلْنَthey do فِیْۤconcerning اَنْفُسِهِنَّthemselves مِنْ[of] مَّعْرُوْفٍ ؕhonorably وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(240) وَلِلْمُطَلَّقٰتِAnd for the divorced women مَتَاعٌ(is) a provision بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕin a fair manner حَقًّاa duty عَلَیupon الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟(241) كَذٰلِكَThus یُبَیِّنُmakes clear اللّٰهُAllah لَكُمْfor you اٰیٰتِهٖHis Verses لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَعْقِلُوْنَuse your intellect ۟۠(242) اَلَمْDid not تَرَyou see اِلَی[to] الَّذِیْنَthose who خَرَجُوْاwent out مِنْfrom دِیَارِهِمْtheir homes وَهُمْand they اُلُوْفٌ(were in) thousands حَذَرَ(in) fear الْمَوْتِ ۪(of) [the] death فَقَالَThen said لَهُمُto them اللّٰهُAllah مُوْتُوْا ۫Die ثُمَّthen اَحْیَاهُمْ ؕHe restored them to life اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَذُوْ(is) surely Possessor فَضْلٍ(of) bounty عَلَیfor النَّاسِ[the] mankind وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(are) not یَشْكُرُوْنَgrateful ۟(243) وَقَاتِلُوْاAnd fight فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(244) مَنْWho ذَا(is) the one الَّذِیْwho یُقْرِضُwill lend اللّٰهَ(to) Allah قَرْضًاa loan حَسَنًاgood فَیُضٰعِفَهٗso (that) He multiplies it لَهٗۤfor him اَضْعَافًاmanifolds كَثِیْرَةً ؕmany وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَقْبِضُwithholds وَیَبْصُۜطُ ۪and grants abundance وَاِلَیْهِand to Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(245) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 39 - Juz 2 اَلَمْDid not تَرَyou see اِلَی[towards] الْمَلَاِthe chiefs مِنْof بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مُوْسٰی ۘMusa اِذْwhen قَالُوْاthey said لِنَبِیٍّto a Prophet لَّهُمُof theirs ابْعَثْAppoint لَنَاfor us مَلِكًاa king نُّقَاتِلْwe may fight فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah قَالَHe said هَلْWould عَسَیْتُمْyou perhaps اِنْif كُتِبَprescribed عَلَیْكُمُupon you الْقِتَالُ[the] fighting اَلَّاthat not تُقَاتِلُوْا ؕyou fight قَالُوْاThey said وَمَاAnd what لَنَاۤfor us اَلَّاthat not نُقَاتِلَwe fight فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَقَدْwhile surely اُخْرِجْنَاwe have been driven مِنْfrom دِیَارِنَاour homes وَاَبْنَآىِٕنَا ؕand our children فَلَمَّاYet, when كُتِبَwas prescribed عَلَیْهِمُupon them الْقِتَالُthe fighting تَوَلَّوْاthey turned away اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa few مِّنْهُمْ ؕamong them وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knowing بِالظّٰلِمِیْنَof the wrongdoers ۟(246) وَقَالَAnd said لَهُمْto them نَبِیُّهُمْtheir Prophet اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah قَدْ(has) surely بَعَثَraised لَكُمْfor you طَالُوْتَTalut مَلِكًا ؕ(as) a king قَالُوْۤاThey said اَنّٰیHow یَكُوْنُcan be لَهُfor him الْمُلْكُthe kingship عَلَیْنَاover us وَنَحْنُwhile we اَحَقُّ(are) more entitled بِالْمُلْكِto kingship مِنْهُthan him وَلَمْand not یُؤْتَhe has been given سَعَةًabundance مِّنَof الْمَالِ ؕ[the] wealth قَالَHe said اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah اصْطَفٰىهُhas chosen him عَلَیْكُمْover you وَزَادَهٗand increased him بَسْطَةًabundantly فِیin الْعِلْمِ[the] knowledge وَالْجِسْمِ ؕand [the] physique وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یُؤْتِیْgives مُلْكَهٗHis kingdom مَنْ(to) whom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah وَاسِعٌ(is) All-Encompassing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(247) وَقَالَAnd said لَهُمْto them نَبِیُّهُمْtheir Prophet اِنَّIndeed اٰیَةَa sign مُلْكِهٖۤ(of) his kingship اَنْ(is) that یَّاْتِیَكُمُwill come to you التَّابُوْتُthe ark فِیْهِin it سَكِیْنَةٌ(is) tranquility مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَبَقِیَّةٌand a remnant مِّمَّاof what تَرَكَ(was) left اٰلُ(by the) family مُوْسٰی(of) Musa وَاٰلُand family هٰرُوْنَ(of) Harun تَحْمِلُهُwill carry it الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ ؕthe Angels اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةً(is) surely a sign لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟۠(248) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 40 - Juz 2 فَلَمَّاThen when فَصَلَset out طَالُوْتُTalut بِالْجُنُوْدِ ۙwith the forces قَالَhe said اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah مُبْتَلِیْكُمْwill test you بِنَهَرٍ ۚwith a river فَمَنْSo whoever شَرِبَdrinks مِنْهُfrom it فَلَیْسَthen he is not مِنِّیْ ۚfrom me وَمَنْand whoever لَّمْ(does) not یَطْعَمْهُtaste it فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, he مِنِّیْۤ(is) from me اِلَّاexcept مَنِwhoever اغْتَرَفَtakes غُرْفَةً(in the) hollow بِیَدِهٖ ۚ(of) his hand فَشَرِبُوْاThen they drank مِنْهُfrom it اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa few مِّنْهُمْ ؕof them فَلَمَّاThen when جَاوَزَهٗhe crossed it هُوَhe وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗ ۙwith him قَالُوْاthey said لَاNo طَاقَةَstrength لَنَاfor us الْیَوْمَtoday بِجَالُوْتَagainst Jalut وَجُنُوْدِهٖ ؕand his troops قَالَSaid الَّذِیْنَthose who یَظُنُّوْنَwere certain اَنَّهُمْthat they مُّلٰقُوا(would) meet اللّٰهِ ۙAllah كَمْHow many مِّنْof فِئَةٍa company قَلِیْلَةٍsmall غَلَبَتْovercame فِئَةًa company كَثِیْرَةًlarge بِاِذْنِby (the) permission اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah مَعَ(is) with الصّٰبِرِیْنَthe patient ones ۟(249) وَلَمَّاAnd when بَرَزُوْاthey went forth لِجَالُوْتَto (face) Jalut وَجُنُوْدِهٖand his troops قَالُوْاthey said رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَفْرِغْPour عَلَیْنَاon us صَبْرًاpatience وَّثَبِّتْand make firm اَقْدَامَنَاour feet وَانْصُرْنَاand help us عَلَیagainst الْقَوْمِthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(who are) disbelieving ۟ؕ(250) فَهَزَمُوْهُمْSo they defeated them بِاِذْنِby (the) permission اللّٰهِ ۙ۫(of) Allah وَقَتَلَand killed دَاوٗدُDawood جَالُوْتَJalut وَاٰتٰىهُand gave him اللّٰهُAllah الْمُلْكَthe kingdom وَالْحِكْمَةَand the wisdom وَعَلَّمَهٗand taught him مِمَّاthat which یَشَآءُ ؕHe willed وَلَوْلَاAnd if not دَفْعُ(for the) repelling اللّٰهِ(by) Allah النَّاسَ[the] people بَعْضَهُمْsome of them بِبَعْضٍ ۙwith others لَّفَسَدَتِcertainly (would have) corrupted الْاَرْضُthe Earth وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but اللّٰهَAllah ذُوْ(is) Possessor فَضْلٍ(of) bounty عَلَیto الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟(251) تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah نَتْلُوْهَاWe recite them عَلَیْكَto you بِالْحَقِّ ؕin [the] truth وَاِنَّكَAnd indeed, you لَمِنَ(are) surely of الْمُرْسَلِیْنَthe Messengers ۟(252) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 41 - Juz 2 تِلْكَThese الرُّسُلُ(are) the Messengers فَضَّلْنَاWe (have) preferred بَعْضَهُمْsome of them عَلٰیover بَعْضٍ ۘothers مِنْهُمْAmong them مَّنْ(were those with) whom كَلَّمَspoke اللّٰهُAllah وَرَفَعَand He raised بَعْضَهُمْsome of them دَرَجٰتٍ ؕ(in) degrees وَاٰتَیْنَاAnd We gave عِیْسَیIsa ابْنَson مَرْیَمَ(of) Maryam الْبَیِّنٰتِthe clear proofs وَاَیَّدْنٰهُand We supported him بِرُوْحِwith Spirit الْقُدُسِ ؕ[the] Holy وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَ(had) willed اللّٰهُAllah مَاnot اقْتَتَلَ(would have) fought each other الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(came) from بَعْدِهِمْafter them مِّنْfrom بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَتْهُمُcame to them الْبَیِّنٰتُthe clear proofs وَلٰكِنِ[And] but اخْتَلَفُوْاthey differed فَمِنْهُمْ[so] of them مَّنْ(are some) who اٰمَنَbelieved وَمِنْهُمْand of them مَّنْ(are some) who كَفَرَ ؕdenied وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَ(had) willed اللّٰهُAllah مَاnot اقْتَتَلُوْا ۫they (would have) fought each other وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but اللّٰهَAllah یَفْعَلُdoes مَاwhat یُرِیْدُHe intends ۟۠(253) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve[d] اَنْفِقُوْاSpend مِمَّاof what رَزَقْنٰكُمْWe (have) provided you مِّنْfrom قَبْلِbefore اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَcomes یَوْمٌa Day لَّاno بَیْعٌbargaining فِیْهِin it وَلَاand no خُلَّةٌfriendship وَّلَاand no شَفَاعَةٌ ؕintercession وَالْكٰفِرُوْنَAnd the deniers هُمُthey الظّٰلِمُوْنَ(are) the wrongdoers ۟(254) اَللّٰهُAllah لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَGod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHim اَلْحَیُّthe Ever-Living الْقَیُّوْمُ ۚ۬the Sustainer of all that exists لَاNot تَاْخُذُهٗovertakes Him سِنَةٌslumber وَّلَا[and] not نَوْمٌ ؕsleep لَهٗTo Him (belongs) مَاwhat(ever) فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand what(ever) فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth مَنْWho ذَا(is) the one الَّذِیْwho یَشْفَعُcan intercede عِنْدَهٗۤwith Him اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِهٖ ؕby His permission یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat بَیْنَ(is) اَیْدِیْهِمْbefore them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ ۚ(is) behind them وَلَاAnd not یُحِیْطُوْنَthey encompass بِشَیْءٍanything مِّنْof عِلْمِهٖۤHis Knowledge اِلَّاexcept بِمَا[of] what شَآءَ ۚHe willed وَسِعَExtends كُرْسِیُّهُHis Seat السَّمٰوٰتِ(to) the heavens وَالْاَرْضَ ۚand the earth وَلَاAnd not یَـُٔوْدُهٗtires Him حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ(the) guarding of both of them وَهُوَAnd He الْعَلِیُّ(is) the Most High الْعَظِیْمُthe Most Great ۟(255) لَاۤ(There is) no اِكْرَاهَcompulsion فِیin الدِّیْنِ ۙ۫the religion قَدْSurely تَّبَیَّنَhas become distinct الرُّشْدُthe right (path) مِنَfrom الْغَیِّ ۚthe wrong فَمَنْThen whoever یَّكْفُرْdisbelieves بِالطَّاغُوْتِin false deities وَیُؤْمِنْand believes بِاللّٰهِin Allah فَقَدِthen surely اسْتَمْسَكَhe grasped بِالْعُرْوَةِthe handhold الْوُثْقٰی ۗ[the] firm لَا(which) not انْفِصَامَ(will) break لَهَا ؕ[for it] وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(256) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 42 - Juz 3 اَللّٰهُAllah وَلِیُّ(is the) Protecting Guardian الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who اٰمَنُوْا ۙbelieve[d] یُخْرِجُهُمْHe brings them out مِّنَfrom الظُّلُمٰتِ[the] darkness اِلَیtowards النُّوْرِ ؕ۬[the] light وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve(d) اَوْلِیٰٓـُٔهُمُtheir guardians الطَّاغُوْتُ ۙ(are) the evil ones یُخْرِجُوْنَهُمْthey bring them out مِّنَfrom النُّوْرِthe light اِلَیtowards الظُّلُمٰتِ ؕ[the] darkness اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟۠(257) اَلَمْDid not تَرَyou see اِلَی[towards] الَّذِیْthe one who حَآجَّargued اِبْرٰهٖمَ(with) Ibrahim فِیْconcerning رَبِّهٖۤhis Lord اَنْbecause اٰتٰىهُgave him اللّٰهُAllah الْمُلْكَ ۘthe kingdom اِذْWhen قَالَSaid اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim رَبِّیَMy Lord الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُحْیٖgrants life وَیُمِیْتُ ۙand causes death قَالَHe said اَنَاI اُحْیٖgive life وَاُمِیْتُ ؕand cause death قَالَSaid اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim فَاِنَّ[Then] indeed اللّٰهَAllah یَاْتِیْbrings up بِالشَّمْسِthe sun مِنَfrom الْمَشْرِقِthe east فَاْتِso you bring بِهَاit مِنَfrom الْمَغْرِبِthe west فَبُهِتَSo became dumbfounded الَّذِیْthe one who كَفَرَ ؕdisbelieved وَاللّٰهُand Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(who are) [the] wrongdoers ۟ۚ(258) اَوْOr كَالَّذِیْlike the one who مَرَّpassed عَلٰیby قَرْیَةٍa township وَّهِیَand it خَاوِیَةٌ(had) overturned عَلٰیon عُرُوْشِهَا ۚits roofs قَالَHe said اَنّٰیHow یُحْیٖ(will) bring to life هٰذِهِthis (town) اللّٰهُAllah بَعْدَafter مَوْتِهَا ۚits death فَاَمَاتَهُThen he was made to die اللّٰهُ(by) Allah مِائَةَ(for) a hundred عَامٍyear(s) ثُمَّthen بَعَثَهٗ ؕHe raised him قَالَHe said كَمْHow long لَبِثْتَ ؕ(have) you remained قَالَHe said لَبِثْتُI remained یَوْمًا(for) a day اَوْor بَعْضَa part یَوْمٍ ؕ(of) a day قَالَHe said بَلْNay لَّبِثْتَyou (have) remained مِائَةَone hundred عَامٍyear(s) فَانْظُرْThen look اِلٰیat طَعَامِكَyour food وَشَرَابِكَand your drink لَمْ(they did) not یَتَسَنَّهْ ۚchange with time وَانْظُرْand look اِلٰیat حِمَارِكَ۫your donkey وَلِنَجْعَلَكَand We will make you اٰیَةًa sign لِّلنَّاسِfor the people وَانْظُرْAnd look اِلَیat الْعِظَامِthe bones كَیْفَhow نُنْشِزُهَاWe raise them ثُمَّthen نَكْسُوْهَاWe cover them لَحْمًا ؕ(with) flesh فَلَمَّاThen when تَبَیَّنَbecame clear لَهٗ ۙto him قَالَhe said اَعْلَمُI know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(259) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 43 - Juz 3 وَاِذْAnd when قَالَsaid اِبْرٰهٖمُIbrahim رَبِّMy Lord اَرِنِیْshow me كَیْفَhow تُحْیِYou give life الْمَوْتٰی ؕ(to) the dead قَالَHe said اَوَلَمْHave not تُؤْمِنْ ؕyou believed قَالَHe said بَلٰیYes وَلٰكِنْ[and] but لِّیَطْمَىِٕنَّto satisfy قَلْبِیْ ؕmy heart قَالَHe said فَخُذْThen take اَرْبَعَةًfour مِّنَof الطَّیْرِthe birds فَصُرْهُنَّand incline them اِلَیْكَtowards you ثُمَّthen اجْعَلْput عَلٰیon كُلِّeach جَبَلٍhill مِّنْهُنَّof them جُزْءًاa portion ثُمَّthen ادْعُهُنَّcall them یَاْتِیْنَكَthey will come to you سَعْیًا ؕ(in) haste وَاعْلَمْAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟۠(260) مَثَلُExample الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who یُنْفِقُوْنَspend اَمْوَالَهُمْtheir wealth فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah كَمَثَلِ(is) like حَبَّةٍa grain اَنْۢبَتَتْwhich grows سَبْعَseven سَنَابِلَears فِیْin كُلِّeach سُنْۢبُلَةٍear مِّائَةُhundred حَبَّةٍ ؕgrain(s) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یُضٰعِفُgives manifold لِمَنْto whom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah وَاسِعٌ(is) All-Encompassing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(261) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یُنْفِقُوْنَspend اَمْوَالَهُمْtheir wealth فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah ثُمَّthen لَاnot یُتْبِعُوْنَthey follow مَاۤwhat اَنْفَقُوْاthey spend مَنًّا(with) reminders of generosity وَّلَاۤand not اَذًی ۙhurt لَّهُمْfor them اَجْرُهُمْtheir reward عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord وَلَاand (there will be) no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(262) قَوْلٌA word مَّعْرُوْفٌkind وَّمَغْفِرَةٌand (seeking) forgiveness خَیْرٌ(are) better مِّنْthan صَدَقَةٍa charity یَّتْبَعُهَاۤfollowed [it] اَذًی ؕ(by) hurt وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَنِیٌّ(is) All-Sufficient حَلِیْمٌAll-Forbearing ۟(263) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] لَا(Do) not تُبْطِلُوْاrender in vain صَدَقٰتِكُمْyour charities بِالْمَنِّwith reminders (of it) وَالْاَذٰی ۙor [the] hurt كَالَّذِیْlike the one who یُنْفِقُspends مَالَهٗhis wealth رِئَآءَ(to) be seen النَّاسِ(by) the people وَلَاand (does) not یُؤْمِنُbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِ ؕ[the] Last فَمَثَلُهٗThen his example كَمَثَلِ(is) like صَفْوَانٍ(that of a) smooth rock عَلَیْهِupon it تُرَابٌ(is) dust فَاَصَابَهٗthen fell on it وَابِلٌheavy rain فَتَرَكَهٗthen left it صَلْدًا ؕbare لَاNot یَقْدِرُوْنَthey have control عَلٰیon شَیْءٍanything مِّمَّاof what كَسَبُوْا ؕthey (have) earned وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَ[the] disbelieving ۟(264) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 44 - Juz 3 وَمَثَلُAnd (the) example الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who یُنْفِقُوْنَspend اَمْوَالَهُمُtheir wealth ابْتِغَآءَseeking مَرْضَاتِ(the) pleasure اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَتَثْبِیْتًاand certainty مِّنْfrom اَنْفُسِهِمْtheir (inner) souls كَمَثَلِ(is) like جَنَّةٍa garden بِرَبْوَةٍon a height اَصَابَهَاfell on it وَابِلٌheavy rain فَاٰتَتْso it yielded اُكُلَهَاits harvest ضِعْفَیْنِ ۚdouble فَاِنْThen if لَّمْ(does) not یُصِبْهَاfall (on) it وَابِلٌheavy rain فَطَلٌّ ؕthen a drizzle وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(265) اَیَوَدُّWould like اَحَدُكُمْany of you اَنْthat تَكُوْنَit be لَهٗfor him جَنَّةٌa garden مِّنْof نَّخِیْلٍdate-palms وَّاَعْنَابٍand grapevines تَجْرِیْflowing مِنْ[from] تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُ ۙthe rivers لَهٗfor him فِیْهَاin it مِنْof كُلِّall (kinds) الثَّمَرٰتِ ۙ(of) [the] fruits وَاَصَابَهُand strikes him الْكِبَرُ[the] old age وَلَهٗand [for] his ذُرِّیَّةٌchildren ضُعَفَآءُ ۪ۖ(are) weak فَاَصَابَهَاۤthen falls on it اِعْصَارٌwhirlwind فِیْهِin it نَارٌ(is) fire فَاحْتَرَقَتْ ؕthen it is burnt كَذٰلِكَThus یُبَیِّنُmakes clear اللّٰهُAllah لَكُمُfor you الْاٰیٰتِ(His) Signs لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَتَفَكَّرُوْنَponder ۟۠(266) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve[d] اَنْفِقُوْاSpend مِنْfrom طَیِّبٰتِ(the) good things مَاthat كَسَبْتُمْyou have earned وَمِمَّاۤand whatever اَخْرَجْنَاWe brought forth لَكُمْfor you مِّنَfrom الْاَرْضِ ۪the earth وَلَاAnd (do) not تَیَمَّمُواaim (at) الْخَبِیْثَthe bad مِنْهُof it تُنْفِقُوْنَyou spend وَلَسْتُمْwhile you (would) not بِاٰخِذِیْهِtake it اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْ[that] تُغْمِضُوْا(with) close(d) eyes فِیْهِ ؕ[in it] وَاعْلَمُوْۤاand know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah غَنِیٌّ(is) Self-Sufficient حَمِیْدٌPraiseworthy ۟(267) اَلشَّیْطٰنُThe Shaitaan یَعِدُكُمُpromises you الْفَقْرَ[the] poverty وَیَاْمُرُكُمْand orders you بِالْفَحْشَآءِ ۚto immorality وَاللّٰهُwhile Allah یَعِدُكُمْpromises you مَّغْفِرَةًforgiveness مِّنْهُfrom Him وَفَضْلًا ؕand bounty وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah وَاسِعٌ(is) All-Encompassing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟ۖۙ(268) یُّؤْتِیHe grants الْحِكْمَةَ[the] wisdom مَنْ(to) whom یَّشَآءُ ۚHe wills وَمَنْand whoever یُّؤْتَis granted الْحِكْمَةَ[the] wisdom فَقَدْthen certainly اُوْتِیَhe is granted خَیْرًاgood كَثِیْرًا ؕabundant وَمَاAnd none یَذَّكَّرُremembers اِلَّاۤexcept اُولُواthose الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding ۟(269) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 45 - Juz 3 وَمَاۤAnd whatever اَنْفَقْتُمْyou spend مِّنْ(out) of نَّفَقَةٍ(your) expenditures اَوْor نَذَرْتُمْyou vow مِّنْof نَّذْرٍvow(s) فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُهٗ ؕknows it وَمَاand not لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَfor the wrongdoers مِنْany اَنْصَارٍhelpers ۟(270) اِنْIf تُبْدُواyou disclose الصَّدَقٰتِthe charities فَنِعِمَّاthen good هِیَ ۚit (is) وَاِنْBut if تُخْفُوْهَاyou keep it secret وَتُؤْتُوْهَاand give it الْفُقَرَآءَ(to) the poor فَهُوَthen it خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْ ؕfor you وَیُكَفِّرُAnd He will remove عَنْكُمْfrom you مِّنْ[of] سَیِّاٰتِكُمْ ؕyour evil deeds وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاwith what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do خَبِیْرٌ(is) All-Aware ۟(271) لَیْسَNot عَلَیْكَon you هُدٰىهُمْ(is) their guidance وَلٰكِنَّ[and] but اللّٰهَAllah یَهْدِیْguides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَمَاAnd whatever تُنْفِقُوْاyou spend مِنْof خَیْرٍgood فَلِاَنْفُسِكُمْ ؕthen it is for yourself وَمَاand not تُنْفِقُوْنَyou spend اِلَّاexcept ابْتِغَآءَseeking وَجْهِ(the) face اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَمَاAnd whatever تُنْفِقُوْاyou spend مِنْof خَیْرٍgood یُّوَفَّwill be repaid in full اِلَیْكُمْto you وَاَنْتُمْand you لَا(will) not تُظْلَمُوْنَbe wronged ۟(272) لِلْفُقَرَآءِFor the poor الَّذِیْنَthose who اُحْصِرُوْاare wrapped up فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَاnot یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey are able ضَرْبًا(to) move about فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؗthe earth یَحْسَبُهُمُThink (about) them الْجَاهِلُthe ignorant one اَغْنِیَآءَ(that they are) self-sufficient مِنَ(because) of التَّعَفُّفِ ۚ(their) restraint تَعْرِفُهُمْyou recognize them بِسِیْمٰىهُمْ ۚby their mark لَاNot یَسْـَٔلُوْنَ(do) they ask النَّاسَthe people اِلْحَافًا ؕwith importunity وَمَاAnd whatever تُنْفِقُوْاyou spend مِنْof خَیْرٍgood فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah بِهٖof it عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟۠(273) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یُنْفِقُوْنَspend اَمْوَالَهُمْtheir wealth بِالَّیْلِby night وَالنَّهَارِand day سِرًّاsecretly وَّعَلَانِیَةًand openly فَلَهُمْthen for them اَجْرُهُمْ(is) their reward عِنْدَwith رَبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord وَلَاand no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟ؔ(274) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 46 - Juz 3 اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یَاْكُلُوْنَconsume الرِّبٰوا[the] usury لَاnot یَقُوْمُوْنَthey can stand اِلَّاexcept كَمَاlike یَقُوْمُstands الَّذِیْthe one who یَتَخَبَّطُهُconfounds him الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan مِنَwith الْمَسِّ ؕ(his) touch ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(is) because they قَالُوْۤاsay اِنَّمَاOnly الْبَیْعُthe trade مِثْلُ(is) like الرِّبٰوا ۘ[the] usury وَاَحَلَّWhile has permitted اللّٰهُAllah الْبَیْعَ[the] trade وَحَرَّمَbut (has) forbidden الرِّبٰوا ؕ[the] usury فَمَنْThen whoever جَآءَهٗcomes to him مَوْعِظَةٌ(the) admonition مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖHis Lord فَانْتَهٰیand he refrained فَلَهٗthen for him مَاwhat سَلَفَ ؕ(has) passed وَاَمْرُهٗۤand his case اِلَی(is) with اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَمَنْand whoever عَادَrepeated فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟(275) یَمْحَقُDestroys اللّٰهُAllah الرِّبٰواthe usury وَیُرْبِیand (gives) increase الصَّدَقٰتِ ؕ(for) the charities وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove كُلَّevery كَفَّارٍungrateful اَثِیْمٍsinner ۟(276) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve[d] وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِgood deeds وَاَقَامُواand established الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَوُاand gave الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah لَهُمْfor them اَجْرُهُمْtheir reward عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord وَلَاand no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(277) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُواbelieve[d] اتَّقُواFear اللّٰهَAllah وَذَرُوْاand give up مَاwhat بَقِیَremained مِنَof الرِّبٰۤوا[the] usury اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(278) فَاِنْAnd if لَّمْnot تَفْعَلُوْاyou do فَاْذَنُوْاthen be informed بِحَرْبٍof a war مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah وَرَسُوْلِهٖ ۚand His Messenger وَاِنْAnd if تُبْتُمْyou repent فَلَكُمْthen for you رُءُوْسُ(is) اَمْوَالِكُمْ ۚyour capital لَا(do) not تَظْلِمُوْنَwrong وَلَاand not تُظْلَمُوْنَyou will be wronged ۟(279) وَاِنْAnd if كَانَis ذُوْthe (debtor) عُسْرَةٍin difficulty فَنَظِرَةٌthen postponement اِلٰیuntil مَیْسَرَةٍ ؕease وَاَنْAnd if تَصَدَّقُوْاyou remit as charity خَیْرٌ(it is) better لَّكُمْfor you اِنْIf كُنْتُمْyou تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(280) وَاتَّقُوْاAnd fear یَوْمًاa Day تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be brought back فِیْهِ[in it] اِلَیto اللّٰهِ ۫ۗAllah ثُمَّThen تُوَفّٰی(will be) repaid in full كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul مَّاwhat كَسَبَتْit earned وَهُمْand they لَاnot یُظْلَمُوْنَwill be wronged ۟۠(281) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 47 - Juz 3 یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve[d] اِذَاWhen تَدَایَنْتُمْyou contract with one another بِدَیْنٍany debt اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّیfixed فَاكْتُبُوْهُ ؕthen write it وَلْیَكْتُبْAnd let write بَّیْنَكُمْbetween you كَاتِبٌa scribe بِالْعَدْلِ ۪in justice وَلَاAnd not یَاْبَ(should) refuse كَاتِبٌa scribe اَنْthat یَّكْتُبَhe writes كَمَاas عَلَّمَهُ(has) taught him اللّٰهُAllah فَلْیَكْتُبْ ۚSo let him write وَلْیُمْلِلِand let dictate الَّذِیْthe one عَلَیْهِon whom الْحَقُّ(is) the right وَلْیَتَّقِand let him fear اللّٰهَAllah رَبَّهٗhis Lord وَلَاand (let him) not یَبْخَسْdiminish مِنْهُfrom it شَیْـًٔا ؕanything فَاِنْThen if كَانَis الَّذِیْthe one عَلَیْهِon him الْحَقُّ(is) the right سَفِیْهًا(of) limited understanding اَوْor ضَعِیْفًاweak اَوْor لَاnot یَسْتَطِیْعُcapable اَنْthat یُّمِلَّ(can) dictate هُوَhe فَلْیُمْلِلْthen let dictate وَلِیُّهٗhis guardian بِالْعَدْلِ ؕwith justice وَاسْتَشْهِدُوْاAnd call for evidence شَهِیْدَیْنِtwo witnesses مِنْamong رِّجَالِكُمْ ۚyour men فَاِنْAnd if لَّمْnot یَكُوْنَاthere are رَجُلَیْنِtwo men فَرَجُلٌthen one man وَّامْرَاَتٰنِand two women مِمَّنْof whom تَرْضَوْنَyou agree مِنَof الشُّهَدَآءِ[the] witnesses اَنْ(so) that (if) تَضِلَّ[she] errs اِحْدٰىهُمَاone of the two فَتُذَكِّرَthen will remind اِحْدٰىهُمَاone of the two الْاُخْرٰی ؕthe other وَلَاAnd not یَاْبَ(should) refuse الشُّهَدَآءُthe witnesses اِذَاwhen مَاthat دُعُوْا ؕthey are called وَلَاAnd not تَسْـَٔمُوْۤا(be) weary اَنْthat تَكْتُبُوْهُyou write it صَغِیْرًاsmall اَوْor كَبِیْرًاlarge اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلِهٖ ؕits term ذٰلِكُمْThat اَقْسَطُ(is) more just عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِAllah وَاَقْوَمُand more upright لِلشَّهَادَةِfor evidence وَاَدْنٰۤیand nearer اَلَّاthat not تَرْتَابُوْۤاyou (have) doubt اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَكُوْنَbe تِجَارَةًa transaction حَاضِرَةًpresent تُدِیْرُوْنَهَاyou carry out بَیْنَكُمْamong you فَلَیْسَthen not عَلَیْكُمْon you جُنَاحٌany sin اَلَّاthat not تَكْتُبُوْهَا ؕyou write it وَاَشْهِدُوْۤاAnd take witness اِذَاwhen تَبَایَعْتُمْ ۪you make commercial transaction وَلَاAnd not یُضَآرَّ(should) be harmed كَاتِبٌ(the) scribe وَّلَاand not شَهِیْدٌ ؕ۬(the) witness وَاِنْand if تَفْعَلُوْاyou do فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed it فُسُوْقٌ(is) sinful conduct بِكُمْ ؕfor you وَاتَّقُواand fear اللّٰهَ ؕAllah وَیُعَلِّمُكُمُAnd teaches اللّٰهُ ؕAllah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟(282) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 48 - Juz 3 وَاِنْAnd if كُنْتُمْyou are عَلٰیon سَفَرٍa journey وَّلَمْand not تَجِدُوْاyou find كَاتِبًاa scribe فَرِهٰنٌthen pledge مَّقْبُوْضَةٌ ؕin hand فَاِنْThen if اَمِنَentrusts بَعْضُكُمْone of you بَعْضًا(to) another فَلْیُؤَدِّthen let discharge الَّذِیthe one who اؤْتُمِنَis entrusted اَمَانَتَهٗhis trust وَلْیَتَّقِAnd let him fear اللّٰهَAllah رَبَّهٗ ؕhis Lord وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكْتُمُواconceal الشَّهَادَةَ ؕthe evidence وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّكْتُمْهَاconceals it فَاِنَّهٗۤthen indeed he اٰثِمٌ(is) sinful قَلْبُهٗ ؕhis heart وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟۠(283) لِلّٰهِTo Allah (belongs) مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth وَاِنْAnd if تُبْدُوْاyou disclose مَاwhat فِیْۤ(is) in اَنْفُسِكُمْyourselves اَوْor تُخْفُوْهُyou conceal it یُحَاسِبْكُمْwill call you to account بِهِfor it اللّٰهُ ؕAllah فَیَغْفِرُThen, He will forgive لِمَنْ[to] whom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیُعَذِّبُand He will punish مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلٰیon كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌ(is) All-Powerful ۟(284) اٰمَنَBelieved الرَّسُوْلُthe Messenger بِمَاۤin what اُنْزِلَwas revealed اِلَیْهِto him مِنْfrom رَّبِّهٖhis Lord وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ؕand the believers كُلٌّAll اٰمَنَbelieved بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَمَلٰٓىِٕكَتِهٖand His Angels وَكُتُبِهٖand His Books وَرُسُلِهٖ ۫and His Messengers لَاNot نُفَرِّقُwe make distinction بَیْنَbetween اَحَدٍany مِّنْof رُّسُلِهٖ ۫His messengers وَقَالُوْاAnd they said سَمِعْنَاWe heard وَاَطَعْنَا ؗۗand we obeyed غُفْرَانَكَ(Grant) us Your forgiveness رَبَّنَاour Lord وَاِلَیْكَand to You الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the return ۟(285) لَا(Does) not یُكَلِّفُburden اللّٰهُAllah نَفْسًاany soul اِلَّاexcept وُسْعَهَا ؕits capacity لَهَاfor it مَاwhat كَسَبَتْit earned وَعَلَیْهَاand against it مَاwhat اكْتَسَبَتْ ؕit earned رَبَّنَاOur Lord لَا(Do) not تُؤَاخِذْنَاۤtake us to task اِنْif نَّسِیْنَاۤwe forget اَوْor اَخْطَاْنَا ۚwe err رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَلَاAnd (do) not تَحْمِلْlay عَلَیْنَاۤupon us اِصْرًاa burden كَمَاlike that حَمَلْتَهٗ(which) You laid [it] عَلَیon الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) from قَبْلِنَا ۚbefore us رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَلَا[And] (do) not تُحَمِّلْنَاlay on us مَاwhat لَاnot طَاقَةَ(the) strength لَنَاwe have بِهٖ ۚ[of it] (to bear) وَاعْفُAnd pardon عَنَّا ۥ[from] us وَاغْفِرْand forgive لَنَا ۥ[for] us وَارْحَمْنَا ۥand have mercy on us اَنْتَYou (are) مَوْلٰىنَاour Protector فَانْصُرْنَاso help us عَلَیagainst الْقَوْمِthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَ[the] disbelievers ۟۠(286) 2. Al-Baqarah - Page 49 - Juz 3
