Surah 10. Yunus (Jonah) V109 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓرٰ ۫Alif Lam Ra تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are the) verses الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book الْحَكِیْمِthe wise ۟(1) اَكَانَIs it لِلنَّاسِfor the mankind عَجَبًاa wonder اَنْthat اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe revealed اِلٰیto رَجُلٍa man مِّنْهُمْfrom (among) them اَنْthat اَنْذِرِWarn النَّاسَthe mankind وَبَشِّرِand give glad tidings الَّذِیْنَ(to) those who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اَنَّthat لَهُمْfor them قَدَمَ(will be) a respectable position صِدْقٍ(will be) a respectable position عِنْدَnear رَبِّهِمْ ؔؕtheir Lord قَالَSaid الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَسٰحِرٌ(is) surely a magician مُّبِیْنٌobvious ۟(2) اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكُمُyour Lord اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth فِیْin سِتَّةِsix اَیَّامٍperiods ثُمَّthen اسْتَوٰیHe established عَلَیon الْعَرْشِthe Throne یُدَبِّرُdisposing الْاَمْرَ ؕthe affairs مَاNot مِنْ(is) any intercessor شَفِیْعٍ(is) any intercessor اِلَّاexcept مِنْafter بَعْدِafter اِذْنِهٖ ؕHis permission ذٰلِكُمُThat اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّكُمْyour Lord فَاعْبُدُوْهُ ؕso worship Him اَفَلَاThen will not تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou remember ۟(3) اِلَیْهِTo Him مَرْجِعُكُمْ(will be) your return جَمِیْعًا ؕ[all] وَعْدَPromise اللّٰهِ(of) Allah حَقًّا ؕ(is) true اِنَّهٗIndeed, He یَبْدَؤُاoriginates الْخَلْقَthe creation ثُمَّthen یُعِیْدُهٗHe repeats it لِیَجْزِیَthat He may reward الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِthe good deeds بِالْقِسْطِ ؕin justice وَالَّذِیْنَBut those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لَهُمْfor them شَرَابٌ(will be) a drink مِّنْof حَمِیْمٍboiling fluids وَّعَذَابٌand a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve ۟(4) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who جَعَلَmade الشَّمْسَthe sun ضِیَآءًa shining light وَّالْقَمَرَand the moon نُوْرًاa reflected light وَّقَدَّرَهٗand determined for it مَنَازِلَphases لِتَعْلَمُوْاthat you may know عَدَدَ(the) number السِّنِیْنَ(of) the years وَالْحِسَابَ ؕand the count (of time) مَاNot خَلَقَcreated اللّٰهُAllah ذٰلِكَthat اِلَّاexcept بِالْحَقِّ ۚin truth یُفَصِّلُHe explains الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs لِقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْلَمُوْنَ(who) know ۟(5) اِنَّIndeed فِیin اخْتِلَافِ(the) alternation الَّیْلِ(of) the night وَالنَّهَارِand the day وَمَاand what خَلَقَ(has been) created اللّٰهُ(by) Allah فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth لَاٰیٰتٍ(are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَّقُوْنَwho are God conscious ۟(6) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 208 - Juz 11 اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَرْجُوْنَexpect لِقَآءَنَاthe meeting with Us وَرَضُوْاand are pleased بِالْحَیٰوةِwith the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَاطْمَاَنُّوْاand feel satisfied بِهَاwith it وَالَّذِیْنَand those هُمْthey عَنْ(are) of اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs غٰفِلُوْنَheedless ۟ۙ(7) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose مَاْوٰىهُمُtheir abode النَّارُ(will be) the Fire بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(8) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِgood deeds یَهْدِیْهِمْ(will) guide them رَبُّهُمْtheir Lord بِاِیْمَانِهِمْ ۚby their faith تَجْرِیْWill flow مِنْfrom تَحْتِهِمُunderneath them الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers فِیْin جَنّٰتِGardens النَّعِیْمِ(of) Delight ۟(9) دَعْوٰىهُمْTheir prayer فِیْهَاtherein سُبْحٰنَكَ(will be), "Glory be to You اللّٰهُمَّO Allah وَتَحِیَّتُهُمْAnd their greeting فِیْهَاtherein (will be) سَلٰمٌ ۚPeace وَاٰخِرُAnd the last دَعْوٰىهُمْ(of) their call اَنِ(will be) [that] الْحَمْدُAll the Praise be لِلّٰهِto Allah رَبِّLord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟۠(10) وَلَوْAnd if یُعَجِّلُhastens اللّٰهُ(by) Allah لِلنَّاسِfor the mankind الشَّرَّthe evil اسْتِعْجَالَهُمْ(as) He hastens for them بِالْخَیْرِthe good لَقُضِیَsurely, would have been decreed اِلَیْهِمْfor them اَجَلُهُمْ ؕtheir term فَنَذَرُBut We leave الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَرْجُوْنَexpect لِقَآءَنَاthe meeting with Us فِیْin طُغْیَانِهِمْtheir transgression یَعْمَهُوْنَwandering blindly ۟(11) وَاِذَاAnd when مَسَّtouches الْاِنْسَانَthe man الضُّرُّthe affliction دَعَانَاhe calls Us لِجَنْۢبِهٖۤ(lying) on his side اَوْor قَاعِدًاsitting اَوْor قَآىِٕمًا ۚstanding فَلَمَّاBut when كَشَفْنَاWe remove عَنْهُfrom him ضُرَّهٗhis affliction مَرَّhe passes on كَاَنْas if he لَّمْ(had) not یَدْعُنَاۤcalled Us اِلٰیfor ضُرٍّ(the) affliction مَّسَّهٗ ؕ(that) touched him كَذٰلِكَThus زُیِّنَ(it) is made fair seeming لِلْمُسْرِفِیْنَto the extravagant مَاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(12) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed الْقُرُوْنَthe generations مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكُمْbefore you لَمَّاwhen ظَلَمُوْا ۙthey wronged وَجَآءَتْهُمْand came to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs وَمَاbut not كَانُوْاthey were لِیُؤْمِنُوْا ؕto believe كَذٰلِكَThus نَجْزِیWe recompense الْقَوْمَthe people الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ(who are) criminals ۟(13) ثُمَّThen جَعَلْنٰكُمْWe made you خَلٰٓىِٕفَsuccessors فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them لِنَنْظُرَso that We may see كَیْفَhow تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(14) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 209 - Juz 11 وَاِذَاAnd when تُتْلٰیare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیَاتُنَاOur Verses بَیِّنٰتٍ ۙ(as) clear proofs قَالَsaid الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَرْجُوْنَhope لِقَآءَنَا(for the) meeting (with) Us ائْتِBring us بِقُرْاٰنٍa Quran غَیْرِother (than) هٰذَاۤthis اَوْor بَدِّلْهُ ؕchange it قُلْSay مَاNot یَكُوْنُ(it) is لِیْۤfor me اَنْthat اُبَدِّلَهٗI change it مِنْof تِلْقَآئِmy own accord نَفْسِیْ ۚmy own accord اِنْNot اَتَّبِعُI follow اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat یُوْحٰۤیis revealed اِلَیَّ ۚto me اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear اِنْif عَصَیْتُI were to disobey رَبِّیْmy Lord عَذَابَ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Day عَظِیْمٍGreat ۟(15) قُلْSay لَّوْIf شَآءَ(had) willed اللّٰهُAllah مَاnot تَلَوْتُهٗI (would) have recited it عَلَیْكُمْto you وَلَاۤand not اَدْرٰىكُمْHe (would) have made it known to you بِهٖ ۖؗHe (would) have made it known to you فَقَدْVerily لَبِثْتُI have stayed فِیْكُمْamong you عُمُرًاa lifetime مِّنْbefore it قَبْلِهٖ ؕbefore it اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟(16) فَمَنْSo who اَظْلَمُ(is) more wrong مِمَّنِthan he who افْتَرٰیinvents عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie اَوْor كَذَّبَdenies بِاٰیٰتِهٖ ؕHis Signs اِنَّهٗIndeed لَاnot یُفْلِحُwill succeed الْمُجْرِمُوْنَthe criminals ۟(17) وَیَعْبُدُوْنَAnd they worship مِنْfrom دُوْنِother than اللّٰهِAllah مَاthat (which) لَا(does) not یَضُرُّهُمْharm them وَلَاand not یَنْفَعُهُمْbenefit them وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say هٰۤؤُلَآءِThese شُفَعَآؤُنَا(are) our intercessors عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِ ؕAllah قُلْSay اَتُنَبِّـُٔوْنَDo you inform اللّٰهَAllah بِمَاof what لَاnot یَعْلَمُhe knows فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَلَاand not فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth سُبْحٰنَهٗGlorified is He وَتَعٰلٰیand Exalted عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate (with Him) ۟(18) وَمَاAnd not كَانَwas النَّاسُthe mankind اِلَّاۤbut اُمَّةًa community وَّاحِدَةًone فَاخْتَلَفُوْا ؕthen they differed وَلَوْلَاAnd had (it) not been كَلِمَةٌa word سَبَقَتْ(that) preceded مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord لَقُضِیَsurely, it (would) have been judged بَیْنَهُمْbetween them فِیْمَاconcerning what فِیْهِ[therein] یَخْتَلِفُوْنَthey differ ۟(19) وَیَقُوْلُوْنَAnd they say لَوْلَاۤWhy not اُنْزِلَis sent down عَلَیْهِto him اٰیَةٌa Sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ۚhis Lord فَقُلْSo say اِنَّمَاOnly الْغَیْبُthe unseen لِلّٰهِ(is) for Allah فَانْتَظِرُوْا ۚso wait اِنِّیْindeed, I am مَعَكُمْwith you مِّنَamong الْمُنْتَظِرِیْنَthe ones who wait ۟۠(20) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 210 - Juz 11 وَاِذَاۤAnd when اَذَقْنَاWe let [the] mankind taste النَّاسَWe let [the] mankind taste رَحْمَةًmercy مِّنْafter بَعْدِafter ضَرَّآءَadversity مَسَّتْهُمْhas touched them اِذَاbehold لَهُمْThey have مَّكْرٌa plot فِیْۤagainst اٰیَاتِنَا ؕOur Verses قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah اَسْرَعُ(is) more swift مَكْرًا ؕ(in) planning اِنَّIndeed رُسُلَنَاOur Messengers یَكْتُبُوْنَwrite down مَاwhat تَمْكُرُوْنَyou plot ۟(21) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُسَیِّرُكُمْenables you to travel فِیin الْبَرِّthe land وَالْبَحْرِ ؕand the sea حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen كُنْتُمْyou are فِیin الْفُلْكِ ۚthe ships وَجَرَیْنَand they sail بِهِمْwith them بِرِیْحٍwith a wind طَیِّبَةٍgood وَّفَرِحُوْاand they rejoice بِهَاtherein جَآءَتْهَاcomes to it رِیْحٌa wind عَاصِفٌstormy وَّجَآءَهُمُand comes to them الْمَوْجُthe waves مِنْfrom كُلِّevery مَكَانٍplace وَّظَنُّوْۤاand they assume اَنَّهُمْthat they اُحِیْطَare surrounded بِهِمْ ۙwith them دَعَوُاThey call اللّٰهَAllah مُخْلِصِیْنَsincerely لَهُto Him الدِّیْنَ ۚ۬(in) the religion لَىِٕنْ(saying), "If اَنْجَیْتَنَاYou save us مِنْfrom هٰذِهٖthis لَنَكُوْنَنَّsurely we will be مِنَamong الشّٰكِرِیْنَthe thankful ۟(22) فَلَمَّاۤBut when اَنْجٰىهُمْHe saved them اِذَاbehold هُمْThey یَبْغُوْنَrebel فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّ ؕ[the] right یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind اِنَّمَاOnly بَغْیُكُمْyour rebellion عَلٰۤی(is) against اَنْفُسِكُمْ ۙyourselves مَّتَاعَ(the) enjoyment الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا ؗ(of) the world ثُمَّThen اِلَیْنَاto Us مَرْجِعُكُمْ(is) your return فَنُنَبِّئُكُمْand We will inform you بِمَاof what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(23) اِنَّمَاOnly مَثَلُ(the) example الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world كَمَآءٍ(is) like (the) water اَنْزَلْنٰهُwhich We sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky فَاخْتَلَطَso absorbs بِهٖ[with] it نَبَاتُ(the) plants الْاَرْضِ(of) the earth مِمَّاfrom which یَاْكُلُeat النَّاسُthe men وَالْاَنْعَامُ ؕand the cattle حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاۤwhen اَخَذَتِtakes الْاَرْضُthe earth زُخْرُفَهَاits adornment وَازَّیَّنَتْand is beautified وَظَنَّand think اَهْلُهَاۤits people اَنَّهُمْthat they قٰدِرُوْنَhave the power عَلَیْهَاۤ ۙover it اَتٰىهَاۤcomes (to) it اَمْرُنَاOur command لَیْلًا(by) night اَوْor نَهَارًا(by) day فَجَعَلْنٰهَاand We make it حَصِیْدًاa harvest clean-mown كَاَنْas if لَّمْnot تَغْنَit had flourished بِالْاَمْسِ ؕyesterday كَذٰلِكَThus نُفَصِّلُWe explain الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs لِقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho reflect ۟(24) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَدْعُوْۤاcalls اِلٰیto دَارِ(the) Home السَّلٰمِ ؕ(of) the Peace وَیَهْدِیْand guides مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍ(the) straight path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ(the) straight path ۟(25) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 211 - Juz 11 لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who اَحْسَنُواdo good الْحُسْنٰی(is) the best وَزِیَادَةٌ ؕand more وَلَاAnd not یَرْهَقُ(will) cover وُجُوْهَهُمْtheir faces قَتَرٌdust وَّلَاand not ذِلَّةٌ ؕhumiliation اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَنَّةِ ۚ(of) Paradise هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(26) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَسَبُواearned السَّیِّاٰتِthe evil deeds جَزَآءُ(the) recompense سَیِّئَةٍ(of) an evil deed بِمِثْلِهَا ۙ(is) like it وَتَرْهَقُهُمْand (will) cover them ذِلَّةٌ ؕhumiliation مَاThey will not have لَهُمْThey will not have مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany عَاصمٍ ۚdefender كَاَنَّمَاۤAs if اُغْشِیَتْhad been covered وُجُوْهُهُمْtheir faces قِطَعًا(with) pieces مِّنَfrom الَّیْلِthe darkness (of) night مُظْلِمًا ؕthe darkness (of) night اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(27) وَیَوْمَAnd (the) Day نَحْشُرُهُمْWe will gather them جَمِیْعًاall together ثُمَّthen نَقُوْلُWe will say لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اَشْرَكُوْاassociate partners (with Allah) مَكَانَكُمْ(Remain in) your place اَنْتُمْyou وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ ۚand your partners فَزَیَّلْنَاThen We will separate بَیْنَهُمْ[between] them وَقَالَand (will) say شُرَكَآؤُهُمْtheir partners مَّاNot كُنْتُمْyou used (to) اِیَّانَاworship us تَعْبُدُوْنَworship us ۟(28) فَكَفٰیSo sufficient بِاللّٰهِ(is) Allah شَهِیْدًا(as) a witness بَیْنَنَاbetween us وَبَیْنَكُمْand between you اِنْthat كُنَّاwe were عَنْof عِبَادَتِكُمْyour worship لَغٰفِلِیْنَcertainly unaware ۟(29) هُنَالِكَThere تَبْلُوْاwill be put to trial كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul مَّاۤ(for) what اَسْلَفَتْit did previously وَرُدُّوْۤاand they will be returned اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah مَوْلٰىهُمُtheir Lord الْحَقِّthe true وَضَلَّand will be lost عَنْهُمْfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent ۟۠(30) قُلْSay مَنْWho یَّرْزُقُكُمْprovides for you مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky وَالْاَرْضِand the earth اَمَّنْOr who یَّمْلِكُcontrols السَّمْعَthe hearing وَالْاَبْصَارَand the sight وَمَنْAnd who یُّخْرِجُbrings out الْحَیَّthe living مِنَfrom الْمَیِّتِthe dead وَیُخْرِجُand brings forth الْمَیِّتَthe dead مِنَfrom الْحَیِّthe living وَمَنْAnd who یُّدَبِّرُdisposes الْاَمْرَ ؕthe affairs فَسَیَقُوْلُوْنَThen they will say اللّٰهُ ۚAllah فَقُلْThen say اَفَلَاThen will not تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear (Him) ۟(31) فَذٰلِكُمُFor that اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّكُمُyour Lord الْحَقُّ ۚthe true فَمَاذَاSo what (can be) بَعْدَafter الْحَقِّthe truth اِلَّاexcept الضَّلٰلُ ۖۚthe error فَاَنّٰیSo how تُصْرَفُوْنَ(are) you turned away ۟(32) كَذٰلِكَThus حَقَّتْ(is) proved true كَلِمَتُ(the) Word رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord عَلَیupon الَّذِیْنَthose who فَسَقُوْۤاdefiantly disobeyed اَنَّهُمْthat they لَا(will) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(33) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 212 - Juz 11 قُلْSay هَلْIs (there) مِنْof شُرَكَآىِٕكُمْyour partners مَّنْ(any) who یَّبْدَؤُاoriginates الْخَلْقَthe creation ثُمَّthen یُعِیْدُهٗ ؕrepeats it قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah یَبْدَؤُاoriginates الْخَلْقَthe creation ثُمَّthen یُعِیْدُهٗrepeats it فَاَنّٰیSo how تُؤْفَكُوْنَyou are deluded ۟(34) قُلْSay هَلْIs (there) مِنْof شُرَكَآىِٕكُمْyour partners مَّنْ(any) who یَّهْدِیْۤguides اِلَیto الْحَقِّ ؕthe truth قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah یَهْدِیْguides لِلْحَقِّ ؕto the truth اَفَمَنْIs then (he) who یَّهْدِیْۤguides اِلَیto الْحَقِّthe truth اَحَقُّmore worthy اَنْthat یُّتَّبَعَhe should be followed اَمَّنْor (he) who لَّا(does) not یَهِدِّیْۤguide اِلَّاۤunless اَنْ[that] یُّهْدٰی ۚhe is guided فَمَاThen what لَكُمْ ۫(is) for you كَیْفَhow تَحْكُمُوْنَyou judge ۟(35) وَمَاAnd not یَتَّبِعُfollow اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them اِلَّاexcept ظَنًّا ؕassumption اِنَّIndeed الظَّنَّthe assumption لَا(does) not یُغْنِیْavail مِنَagainst الْحَقِّthe truth شَیْـًٔا ؕanything اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِمَاof what یَفْعَلُوْنَthey do ۟(36) وَمَاAnd not كَانَis هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنُthe Quran اَنْthat یُّفْتَرٰی(it could be) produced مِنْby دُوْنِother than Allah اللّٰهِother than Allah وَلٰكِنْbut تَصْدِیْقَ(it is) a confirmation الَّذِیْ(of that) which بَیْنَ(was) before it یَدَیْهِ(was) before it وَتَفْصِیْلَand a detailed explanation الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book لَا(there is) no رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهِin it مِنْfrom رَّبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟۫(37) اَمْOr یَقُوْلُوْنَ(do) they say افْتَرٰىهُ ؕHe has invented it قُلْSay فَاْتُوْاThen bring بِسُوْرَةٍa Surah مِّثْلِهٖlike it وَادْعُوْاand call مَنِwhoever اسْتَطَعْتُمْyou can مِّنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(38) بَلْNay كَذَّبُوْاthey denied بِمَاwhat لَمْnot یُحِیْطُوْاthey could encompass بِعِلْمِهٖ(of) its knowledge وَلَمَّاand not یَاْتِهِمْhas come (to) them تَاْوِیْلُهٗ ؕits interpretation كَذٰلِكَThus كَذَّبَdenied الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them فَانْظُرْthen see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(of) the wrongdoers ۟(39) وَمِنْهُمْAnd of them مَّنْ(is one) who یُّؤْمِنُbelieves بِهٖin it وَمِنْهُمْand of them مَّنْ(is one) who لَّا(does) not یُؤْمِنُbelieve بِهٖ ؕin it وَرَبُّكَAnd your Lord اَعْلَمُ(is) All-Knower بِالْمُفْسِدِیْنَof the corrupters ۟۠(40) وَاِنْAnd if كَذَّبُوْكَthey deny you فَقُلْthen say لِّیْFor me عَمَلِیْ(are) my deeds وَلَكُمْand for you عَمَلُكُمْ ۚ(are) your deeds اَنْتُمْYou بَرِیْٓـُٔوْنَ(are) disassociated مِمَّاۤfrom what اَعْمَلُI do وَاَنَاand I am بَرِیْٓءٌdisassociated مِّمَّاfrom what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(41) وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them مَّنْ(are some) who یَّسْتَمِعُوْنَlisten اِلَیْكَ ؕto you اَفَاَنْتَBut (can) you تُسْمِعُcause the deaf to hear الصُّمَّcause the deaf to hear وَلَوْeven though كَانُوْاthey [were] لَا(do) not یَعْقِلُوْنَuse reason ۟(42) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 213 - Juz 11 وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them مَّنْ(are some) who یَّنْظُرُlook اِلَیْكَ ؕat you اَفَاَنْتَBut (can) you تَهْدِیguide الْعُمْیَthe blind وَلَوْeven though كَانُوْاthey [were] لَا(do) not یُبْصِرُوْنَsee ۟(43) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَظْلِمُwrong النَّاسَthe people شَیْـًٔا(in) anything وَّلٰكِنَّbut النَّاسَthe people اَنْفُسَهُمْwrong themselves یَظْلِمُوْنَwrong themselves ۟(44) وَیَوْمَAnd the Day یَحْشُرُهُمْHe will gather them كَاَنْas if لَّمْthey had not remained یَلْبَثُوْۤاthey had not remained اِلَّاexcept سَاعَةًan hour مِّنَof النَّهَارِthe day یَتَعَارَفُوْنَthey will recognize each other بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them قَدْCertainly خَسِرَ(will have) lost الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِلِقَآءِthe meeting اللّٰهِ(with) Allah وَمَاand not كَانُوْاthey were مُهْتَدِیْنَthe guided ones ۟(45) وَاِمَّاAnd whether نُرِیَنَّكَWe show you بَعْضَsome الَّذِیْ(of) that which نَعِدُهُمْWe promised them اَوْor نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَWe cause you to die فَاِلَیْنَاthen to Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ(is) their return ثُمَّthen اللّٰهُAllah شَهِیْدٌ(is) a Witness عَلٰیover مَاwhat یَفْعَلُوْنَthey do ۟(46) وَلِكُلِّAnd for every اُمَّةٍnation رَّسُوْلٌ ۚ(is) a Messenger فَاِذَاSo when جَآءَcomes رَسُوْلُهُمْtheir Messenger قُضِیَit will be judged بَیْنَهُمْbetween them بِالْقِسْطِin justice وَهُمْand they لَا(will) not یُظْلَمُوْنَbe wronged ۟(47) وَیَقُوْلُوْنَAnd they say مَتٰیWhen هٰذَا(will) this الْوَعْدُthe promise (be fulfilled) اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(48) قُلْSay لَّاۤNot اَمْلِكُI have power لِنَفْسِیْfor myself ضَرًّا(for) any harm وَّلَاand not نَفْعًا(for) any profit اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat شَآءَAllah wills اللّٰهُ ؕAllah wills لِكُلِّFor every اُمَّةٍnation اَجَلٌ ؕ(is) a term اِذَاWhen جَآءَcomes اَجَلُهُمْtheir term فَلَاthen not یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَthey remain behind سَاعَةًan hour وَّلَاand not یَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَthey can precede (it) ۟(49) قُلْSay اَرَءَیْتُمْDo you see اِنْif اَتٰىكُمْcomes to you عَذَابُهٗHis punishment بَیَاتًا(by) night اَوْor نَهَارًا(by) day مَّاذَاwhat (portion) یَسْتَعْجِلُof it would (wish to) hasten مِنْهُof it would (wish to) hasten الْمُجْرِمُوْنَthe criminals ۟(50) اَثُمَّIs (it) then اِذَاwhen مَاwhen وَقَعَ(it had) occurred اٰمَنْتُمْyou (will) believe بِهٖ ؕin it آٰلْـٰٔنَNow وَقَدْAnd certainly كُنْتُمْyou were بِهٖseeking to hasten it تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَseeking to hasten it ۟(51) ثُمَّThen قِیْلَit will be said لِلَّذِیْنَto those who ظَلَمُوْاwronged ذُوْقُوْاTaste عَذَابَpunishment الْخُلْدِ ۚthe everlasting هَلْAre you (being) recompensed تُجْزَوْنَAre you (being) recompensed اِلَّاexcept بِمَاfor what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(52) وَیَسْتَنْۢبِـُٔوْنَكَAnd they ask you to inform اَحَقٌّIs it true هُوَ ؔؕIs it true قُلْSay اِیْYes وَرَبِّیْۤby my Lord اِنَّهٗIndeed, it لَحَقٌّ ؔؕۚ(is) surely the truth وَمَاۤand not اَنْتُمْyou بِمُعْجِزِیْنَ(can) escape (it) ۟۠(53) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 214 - Juz 11 وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّthat لِكُلِّfor every نَفْسٍsoul ظَلَمَتْ(that) wronged مَاwhatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth لَافْتَدَتْit (would) seek to ransom بِهٖ ؕwith it وَاَسَرُّواand they (will) confide النَّدَامَةَthe regret لَمَّاwhen رَاَوُاthey see الْعَذَابَ ۚthe punishment وَقُضِیَBut will be judged بَیْنَهُمْbetween them بِالْقِسْطِin justice وَهُمْand they لَا(will) not یُظْلَمُوْنَ(be) wronged ۟(54) اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّindeed لِلّٰهِfor Allah مَا(is) whatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّindeed وَعْدَ(the) Promise of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Promise of Allah حَقٌّ(is) true وَّلٰكِنَّBut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(55) هُوَHe یُحْیٖgives life وَیُمِیْتُand causes death وَاِلَیْهِand to Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(56) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind قَدْVerily جَآءَتْكُمْhas come to you مَّوْعِظَةٌan instruction مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَشِفَآءٌand a healing لِّمَاfor what فِی(is) in الصُّدُوْرِ ۙ۬your breasts وَهُدًیand guidance وَّرَحْمَةٌand mercy لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟(57) قُلْSay بِفَضْلِIn the Bounty اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَبِرَحْمَتِهٖand in His Mercy فَبِذٰلِكَso in that فَلْیَفْرَحُوْا ؕlet them rejoice هُوَIt خَیْرٌ(is) better مِّمَّاthan what یَجْمَعُوْنَthey accumulate ۟(58) قُلْSay اَرَءَیْتُمْHave you seen مَّاۤwhat اَنْزَلَ(has been) sent down اللّٰهُ(by) Allah لَكُمْfor you مِّنْof رِّزْقٍ(the) provision فَجَعَلْتُمْand you have made مِّنْهُof it حَرَامًاunlawful وَّحَلٰلًا ؕand lawful قُلْSay آٰللّٰهُHas Allah اَذِنَpermitted لَكُمْ[to] you اَمْor عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah تَفْتَرُوْنَyou invent (lies) ۟(59) وَمَاAnd what ظَنُّ(will be the) assumption الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah الْكَذِبَthe lie یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Judgment اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَذُوْ(is) surely Full (of) Bounty فَضْلٍ(is) surely Full (of) Bounty عَلَیto النَّاسِthe mankind وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(are) not یَشْكُرُوْنَgrateful ۟۠(60) وَمَاAnd not تَكُوْنُyou are فِیْ[in] شَاْنٍany situation وَّمَاand not تَتْلُوْاyou recite مِنْهُof it مِنْfrom قُرْاٰنٍ(the) Quran وَّلَاand not تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do مِنْany عَمَلٍdeed اِلَّاexcept كُنَّاWe are عَلَیْكُمْover you شُهُوْدًاwitnesses اِذْwhen تُفِیْضُوْنَyou are engaged فِیْهِ ؕin it وَمَاAnd not یَعْزُبُescapes عَنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord مِنْof مِّثْقَالِ(the) weight ذَرَّةٍ(of) an atom فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَلَاand not فِیin السَّمَآءِthe heavens وَلَاۤand not اَصْغَرَsmaller مِنْthan ذٰلِكَthat وَلَاۤand not اَكْبَرَgreater اِلَّاbut فِیْ(is) in كِتٰبٍa Record مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(61) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 215 - Juz 11 اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّIndeed اَوْلِیَآءَ(the) friends اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَا(there will be) no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْupon then وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟ۚۖ(62) الَّذِیْنَThose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَكَانُوْاand are یَتَّقُوْنَconscious (of Allah) ۟ؕ(63) لَهُمُFor them الْبُشْرٰی(are) the glad tidings فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَفِیand in الْاٰخِرَةِ ؕthe Hereafter لَاNo تَبْدِیْلَchange لِكَلِمٰتِ(is there) in the Words اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah ذٰلِكَThat هُوَis الْفَوْزُthe success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟ؕ(64) وَلَاAnd (let) not یَحْزُنْكَgrieve you قَوْلُهُمْ ۘtheir speech اِنَّIndeed الْعِزَّةَthe honor لِلّٰهِ(belongs) to Allah جَمِیْعًا ؕall هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟(65) اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّIndeed لِلّٰهِto Allah (belongs) مَنْwhoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَنْand whoever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth وَمَاAnd not یَتَّبِعُfollow الَّذِیْنَthose who یَدْعُوْنَinvoke مِنْother than Allah دُوْنِother than Allah اللّٰهِother than Allah شُرَكَآءَ ؕpartners اِنْNot یَّتَّبِعُوْنَthey follow اِلَّاbut الظَّنَّthe assumption وَاِنْand not هُمْthey اِلَّاbut یَخْرُصُوْنَguess ۟(66) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الَّیْلَthe night لِتَسْكُنُوْاthat you may rest فِیْهِin it وَالنَّهَارَand the day مُبْصِرًا ؕgiving visibility اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّسْمَعُوْنَ(who) listen ۟(67) قَالُواThey say اتَّخَذَAllah has taken اللّٰهُAllah has taken وَلَدًاa son سُبْحٰنَهٗ ؕGlory be to Him هُوَHe الْغَنِیُّ ؕ(is) the Self-sufficient لَهٗTo Him (belongs) مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth اِنْNot عِنْدَكُمْyou have مِّنْany سُلْطٰنٍauthority بِهٰذَا ؕfor this اَتَقُوْلُوْنَDo you say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(68) قُلْSay اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah الْكَذِبَthe lie لَاthey will not succeed یُفْلِحُوْنَthey will not succeed ۟ؕ(69) مَتَاعٌAn enjoyment فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world ثُمَّthen اِلَیْنَاto Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ(is) their return ثُمَّthen نُذِیْقُهُمُWe will make them taste الْعَذَابَthe punishment الشَّدِیْدَthe severe بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve ۟۠(70) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 216 - Juz 11 وَاتْلُAnd recite عَلَیْهِمْto them نَبَاَthe news نُوْحٍ ۘ(of) Nuh اِذْwhen قَالَhe said لِقَوْمِهٖto his people یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنْIf كَانَis كَبُرَhard عَلَیْكُمْon you مَّقَامِیْmy stay وَتَذْكِیْرِیْand my reminding بِاٰیٰتِthe Signs of Allah اللّٰهِthe Signs of Allah فَعَلَیthen on اللّٰهِAllah تَوَكَّلْتُI put my trust فَاَجْمِعُوْۤاSo you all resolve اَمْرَكُمْyour plan وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْand your partners ثُمَّThen لَاlet not be یَكُنْlet not be اَمْرُكُمْ(in) your plan عَلَیْكُمْfor you غُمَّةًany doubt ثُمَّThen اقْضُوْۤاcarry (it out) اِلَیَّupon me وَلَاand (do) not تُنْظِرُوْنِgive me respite ۟(71) فَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّیْتُمْyou turn away فَمَاthen not سَاَلْتُكُمْI have asked you مِّنْany اَجْرٍ ؕreward اِنْNot اَجْرِیَ(is) my reward اِلَّاbut عَلَیon اللّٰهِ ۙAllah وَاُمِرْتُand I have been commanded اَنْthat اَكُوْنَI be مِنَof الْمُسْلِمِیْنَthe Muslims ۟(72) فَكَذَّبُوْهُBut they denied him فَنَجَّیْنٰهُso We saved him وَمَنْand (those) who مَّعَهٗ(were) with him فِیin الْفُلْكِthe ship وَجَعَلْنٰهُمْand We made them خَلٰٓىِٕفَsuccessors وَاَغْرَقْنَاand We drowned الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَا ۚOur Signs فَانْظُرْThen see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الْمُنْذَرِیْنَ(of) those who were warned ۟(73) ثُمَّThen بَعَثْنَاWe sent مِنْafter him بَعْدِهٖafter him رُسُلًاMessengers اِلٰیto قَوْمِهِمْtheir people فَجَآءُوْهُمْand they came to them بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs فَمَاBut not كَانُوْاthey were لِیُؤْمِنُوْاto believe بِمَاwhat كَذَّبُوْاthey had denied بِهٖ[it] مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore كَذٰلِكَThus نَطْبَعُWe seal عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِthe hearts الْمُعْتَدِیْنَ(of) the transgressors ۟(74) ثُمَّThen بَعَثْنَاWe sent مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them مُّوْسٰیMusa وَهٰرُوْنَand Harun اِلٰیto فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهٖand his chiefs بِاٰیٰتِنَاwith Our Signs فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاbut they were arrogant وَكَانُوْاand were قَوْمًاa people مُّجْرِمِیْنَcriminal ۟(75) فَلَمَّاSo when جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْحَقُّthe truth مِنْfrom Us عِنْدِنَاfrom Us قَالُوْۤاthey said اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَسِحْرٌ(is) surely, a magic مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(76) قَالَMusa said مُوْسٰۤیMusa said اَتَقُوْلُوْنَDo you say لِلْحَقِّabout the truth لَمَّاwhen جَآءَكُمْ ؕit has come to you اَسِحْرٌIs this magic هٰذَا ؕIs this magic وَلَاBut (will) not یُفْلِحُsucceed السّٰحِرُوْنَthe magicians ۟(77) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَجِئْتَنَاHave you come to us لِتَلْفِتَنَاto turn us away عَمَّاfrom that وَجَدْنَاwe found عَلَیْهِon it اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers وَتَكُوْنَand you two (may) have لَكُمَاand you two (may) have الْكِبْرِیَآءُthe greatness فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؕthe land وَمَاAnd we (are) not نَحْنُAnd we (are) not لَكُمَا(in) you two بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(78) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 217 - Juz 11 وَقَالَAnd Firaun said فِرْعَوْنُAnd Firaun said ائْتُوْنِیْBring to me بِكُلِّevery سٰحِرٍmagician عَلِیْمٍlearned ۟(79) فَلَمَّاSo when جَآءَcame السَّحَرَةُthe magicians قَالَsaid لَهُمْto them مُّوْسٰۤیMusa اَلْقُوْاThrow مَاۤwhatever اَنْتُمْyou مُّلْقُوْنَ(wish to) throw ۟(80) فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَلْقَوْاthey (had) thrown قَالَMusa said مُوْسٰیMusa said مَاWhat جِئْتُمْyou have brought بِهِ ۙ[it] السِّحْرُ ؕ(is) the magic اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَیُبْطِلُهٗ ؕwill nullify it اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُصْلِحُamend عَمَلَthe work الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ(of) the corrupters ۟(81) وَیُحِقُّAnd Allah will establish اللّٰهُAnd Allah will establish الْحَقَّthe truth بِكَلِمٰتِهٖby His words وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَdislike it الْمُجْرِمُوْنَthe criminals ۟۠(82) فَمَاۤBut none اٰمَنَbelieved لِمُوْسٰۤیMusa اِلَّاexcept ذُرِّیَّةٌ(the) offspring مِّنْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people عَلٰیfor خَوْفٍfear مِّنْof فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهِمْand their chiefs اَنْlest یَّفْتِنَهُمْ ؕthey persecute them وَاِنَّAnd indeed فِرْعَوْنَFiraun لَعَالٍ(was) a tyrant فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۚthe earth وَاِنَّهٗand indeed, he لَمِنَ(was) of الْمُسْرِفِیْنَthe ones who commit excesses ۟(83) وَقَالَAnd Musa said مُوْسٰیAnd Musa said یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنْIf كُنْتُمْyou have اٰمَنْتُمْbelieved بِاللّٰهِin Allah فَعَلَیْهِthen on Him تَوَكَّلُوْۤاput your trust اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّسْلِمِیْنَMuslims ۟(84) فَقَالُوْاThen they said عَلَیUpon اللّٰهِAllah تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚwe put our trust رَبَّنَاOur Lord لَا(Do) not تَجْعَلْنَاmake us فِتْنَةًa trial لِّلْقَوْمِfor the people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۙ(85) وَنَجِّنَاAnd save us بِرَحْمَتِكَby Your Mercy مِنَfrom الْقَوْمِthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(86) وَاَوْحَیْنَاۤAnd We inspired اِلٰیto مُوْسٰیMusa وَاَخِیْهِand his brother اَنْthat تَبَوَّاٰSettle لِقَوْمِكُمَاyour people بِمِصْرَin Egypt بُیُوْتًا(in) houses وَّاجْعَلُوْاand make بُیُوْتَكُمْyour houses قِبْلَةً(as) places of worship وَّاَقِیْمُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَ ؕthe prayer وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(to) the believers ۟(87) وَقَالَAnd Musa said مُوْسٰیAnd Musa said رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اِنَّكَIndeed, You اٰتَیْتَhave given فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاَهٗand his chiefs زِیْنَةًsplendor وَّاَمْوَالًاand wealth فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ۙ(of) the world رَبَّنَاOur Lord لِیُضِلُّوْاThat they may lead astray عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِكَ ۚYour way رَبَّنَاOur Lord اطْمِسْDestroy عَلٰۤی[on] اَمْوَالِهِمْtheir wealth وَاشْدُدْand harden عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts فَلَاso (that) not یُؤْمِنُوْاthey believe حَتّٰیuntil یَرَوُاthey see الْعَذَابَthe punishment الْاَلِیْمَthe painful ۟(88) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 218 - Juz 11 قَالَHe said قَدْVerily اُجِیْبَتْhas been answered دَّعْوَتُكُمَا(the) invocation of both of you فَاسْتَقِیْمَاSo you two (keep to the) straight way وَلَاAnd (do) not تَتَّبِعٰٓنِّfollow سَبِیْلَ(the) way الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(89) وَجٰوَزْنَاAnd We took across بِبَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel الْبَحْرَthe sea فَاَتْبَعَهُمْand followed them فِرْعَوْنُFiraun وَجُنُوْدُهٗand his hosts بَغْیًا(in) rebellion وَّعَدْوًا ؕand enmity حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاۤwhen اَدْرَكَهُovertook him الْغَرَقُ ۙthe drowning قَالَhe said اٰمَنْتُI believe اَنَّهٗthat لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْۤthe One اٰمَنَتْin Whom believe بِهٖin Whom believe بَنُوْۤاthe Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَthe Children of Israel وَاَنَاand I am مِنَof الْمُسْلِمِیْنَthe Muslims ۟(90) آٰلْـٰٔنَNow وَقَدْAnd verily عَصَیْتَyou (had) disobeyed قَبْلُbefore وَكُنْتَand you were مِنَof الْمُفْسِدِیْنَthe corrupters ۟(91) فَالْیَوْمَSo today نُنَجِّیْكَWe will save you بِبَدَنِكَin your body لِتَكُوْنَthat you may be لِمَنْfor (those) who خَلْفَكَsucceed you اٰیَةً ؕa sign وَاِنَّAnd indeed كَثِیْرًاmany مِّنَamong النَّاسِthe mankind عَنْof اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs لَغٰفِلُوْنَ(are) surely heedless ۟۠(92) وَلَقَدْAnd verily بَوَّاْنَاWe settled بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel مُبَوَّاَ(in) a settlement صِدْقٍhonorable وَّرَزَقْنٰهُمْand We provided them مِّنَwith الطَّیِّبٰتِ ۚthe good things فَمَاand not اخْتَلَفُوْاthey differ حَتّٰیuntil جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْعِلْمُ ؕthe knowledge اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord یَقْضِیْwill judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فِیْمَاconcerning what كَانُوْاthey used (to) فِیْهِ[in it] یَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(93) فَاِنْSo if كُنْتَyou are فِیْin شَكٍّdoubt مِّمَّاۤof what اَنْزَلْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you فَسْـَٔلِthen ask الَّذِیْنَthose who یَقْرَءُوْنَ(have been) reading الْكِتٰبَthe Book مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَ ۚbefore you لَقَدْVerily جَآءَكَhas come to you الْحَقُّthe truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord فَلَاso (do) not تَكُوْنَنَّbe مِنَamong الْمُمْتَرِیْنَthe doubters ۟ۙ(94) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكُوْنَنَّbe مِنَof الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdeny بِاٰیٰتِ(the) Signs of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Signs of Allah فَتَكُوْنَthen you will be مِنَamong الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(95) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose [whom] حَقَّتْhas become due عَلَیْهِمْon them كَلِمَتُ(the) Word رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord لَاwill not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟ۙ(96) وَلَوْEven if جَآءَتْهُمْcomes to them كُلُّevery اٰیَةٍSign حَتّٰیuntil یَرَوُاthey see الْعَذَابَthe punishment الْاَلِیْمَthe painful ۟(97) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 219 - Juz 11 فَلَوْلَاSo why not كَانَتْwas قَرْیَةٌany town اٰمَنَتْthat believed فَنَفَعَهَاۤand benefited it اِیْمَانُهَاۤits faith اِلَّاexcept قَوْمَthe people یُوْنُسَ ؕ(of) Yunus لَمَّاۤWhen اٰمَنُوْاthey believed كَشَفْنَاWe removed عَنْهُمْfrom them عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْخِزْیِ(of) the disgrace فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَاof the world وَمَتَّعْنٰهُمْand We granted them enjoyment اِلٰیfor حِیْنٍa time ۟(98) وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَ(had) willed رَبُّكَyour Lord لَاٰمَنَsurely, (would) have believed مَنْwho فِی(are) in الْاَرْضِthe earth كُلُّهُمْall of them جَمِیْعًا ؕtogether اَفَاَنْتَThen, will you تُكْرِهُcompel النَّاسَthe mankind حَتّٰیuntil یَكُوْنُوْاthey become مُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(99) وَمَاAnd not كَانَis لِنَفْسٍfor a soul اَنْto تُؤْمِنَbelieve اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِby (the) permission اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَیَجْعَلُAnd He will place الرِّجْسَthe wrath عَلَیon الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَعْقِلُوْنَuse reason ۟(100) قُلِSay انْظُرُوْاSee مَاذَاwhat فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَمَاBut not تُغْنِیwill avail الْاٰیٰتُthe Signs وَالنُّذُرُand the warners عَنْto قَوْمٍa people لَّا(who do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(101) فَهَلْThen do یَنْتَظِرُوْنَthey wait اِلَّاexcept مِثْلَlike اَیَّامِthe days الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who خَلَوْاpassed away مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕbefore them قُلْSay فَانْتَظِرُوْۤاThen wait اِنِّیْindeed, I (am) مَعَكُمْwith you مِّنَamong الْمُنْتَظِرِیْنَthe ones who wait ۟(102) ثُمَّThen نُنَجِّیْWe will save رُسُلَنَاOur Messengers وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve كَذٰلِكَ ۚThus حَقًّا(it is) an obligation عَلَیْنَاupon Us نُنْجِ(that) We save الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers ۟۠(103) قُلْSay یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind اِنْIf كُنْتُمْyou are فِیْin شَكٍّdoubt مِّنْof دِیْنِیْmy religion فَلَاۤthen not اَعْبُدُI worship الَّذِیْنَthose whom تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah وَلٰكِنْbut اَعْبُدُI worship اللّٰهَAllah الَّذِیْthe One Who یَتَوَفّٰىكُمْ ۖۚcauses you to die وَاُمِرْتُAnd I am commanded اَنْthat اَكُوْنَI be مِنَof الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers ۟ۙ(104) وَاَنْAnd that اَقِمْDirect وَجْهَكَyour face لِلدِّیْنِto the religion حَنِیْفًا ۚupright وَلَاand (do) not تَكُوْنَنَّbe مِنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟(105) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَدْعُinvoke مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah مَاwhat لَا(will) not یَنْفَعُكَbenefit you وَلَاand not یَضُرُّكَ ۚharm you فَاِنْBut if فَعَلْتَyou did so فَاِنَّكَindeed, you اِذًاthen (will be) مِّنَof الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(106) Surah 10. Yunus - Page 220 - Juz 11 وَاِنْAnd if یَّمْسَسْكَAllah touches you اللّٰهُAllah touches you بِضُرٍّwith adversity فَلَا(there is) no كَاشِفَremover لَهٗۤof it اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHim وَاِنْand if یُّرِدْكَHe intends for you بِخَیْرٍany good فَلَاthen (there is) no رَآدَّrepeller لِفَضْلِهٖ ؕ(of) His Bounty یُصِیْبُHe causes it to reach بِهٖHe causes it to reach مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهٖ ؕHis slaves وَهُوَAnd He الْغَفُوْرُ(is) the Oft-Forgiving الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(107) قُلْSay یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind قَدْVerily جَآءَكُمُhas come to you الْحَقُّthe truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْ ۚyour Lord فَمَنِSo whoever اهْتَدٰی(is) guided فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَهْتَدِیْ(he is) guided لِنَفْسِهٖ ۚfor his soul وَمَنْand whoever ضَلَّgoes astray فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَضِلُّhe strays عَلَیْهَا ۚagainst it وَمَاۤAnd I am not اَنَاAnd I am not عَلَیْكُمْover you بِوَكِیْلٍa guardian ۟ؕ(108) وَاتَّبِعْAnd follow مَاwhat یُوْحٰۤیis revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَاصْبِرْand be patient حَتّٰیuntil یَحْكُمَAllah gives judgment اللّٰهُ ۖۚAllah gives judgment وَهُوَAnd He خَیْرُ(is) the Best الْحٰكِمِیْنَ(of) the Judges ۟۠(109) Surah 11. Hud (Hud) V123 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓرٰ ۫Alif Lam Ra كِتٰبٌ(This is) a Book اُحْكِمَتْare perfected اٰیٰتُهٗits Verses ثُمَّmoreover فُصِّلَتْexplained in detail مِنْfrom (he One Who) لَّدُنْfrom (he One Who) حَكِیْمٍ(is) All-Wise خَبِیْرٍAll-Aware ۟ۙ(1) اَلَّاThat "Not تَعْبُدُوْۤاyou worship اِلَّاbut اللّٰهَ ؕAllah اِنَّنِیْIndeed, I am لَكُمْto you مِّنْهُfrom Him نَذِیْرٌa warner وَّبَشِیْرٌand a bearer of glad tidings ۟ۙ(2) وَّاَنِAnd that اسْتَغْفِرُوْاSeek forgiveness رَبَّكُمْ(of) your Lord ثُمَّand تُوْبُوْۤاturn in repentance اِلَیْهِto Him یُمَتِّعْكُمْHe will let you مَّتَاعًاenjoy حَسَنًاa good اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّیappointed وَّیُؤْتِAnd give كُلَّ(to) every ذِیْowner فَضْلٍ(of) grace فَضْلَهٗ ؕHis Grace وَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّوْاyou turn away فَاِنِّیْۤthen indeed, I اَخَافُfear عَلَیْكُمْfor you عَذَابَ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Great Day كَبِیْرٍ(of) a Great Day ۟(3) اِلَیTo اللّٰهِAllah مَرْجِعُكُمْ ۚ(is) your return وَهُوَand He عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(4) اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّهُمْThey یَثْنُوْنَfold up صُدُوْرَهُمْtheir breasts لِیَسْتَخْفُوْاthat they may hide مِنْهُ ؕfrom Him اَلَاSurely حِیْنَwhen یَسْتَغْشُوْنَthey cover (themselves) ثِیَابَهُمْ ۙ(with) their garments یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat یُسِرُّوْنَthey conceal وَمَاand what یُعْلِنُوْنَ ۚthey reveal اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِذَاتِof what الصُّدُوْرِ(is in) the breasts ۟(5) Surah 11. Hud - Page 221 - Juz 11 وَمَاAnd not مِنْany دَآبَّةٍmoving creature فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth اِلَّاbut عَلَیon اللّٰهِAllah رِزْقُهَا(is) its provision وَیَعْلَمُAnd He knows مُسْتَقَرَّهَاits dwelling place وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ؕand its place of storage كُلٌّAll فِیْ(is) in كِتٰبٍa Record مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(6) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth فِیْin سِتَّةِsix اَیَّامٍepochs وَّكَانَand His throne was عَرْشُهٗand His throne was عَلَیon الْمَآءِthe water لِیَبْلُوَكُمْthat He might test [you] اَیُّكُمْwhich of you اَحْسَنُ(is) best عَمَلًا ؕ(in) deed وَلَىِٕنْBut if قُلْتَyou say اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you مَّبْعُوْثُوْنَ(will be) resurrected مِنْafter بَعْدِafter الْمَوْتِ[the] death لَیَقُوْلَنَّsurely would say الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieved اِنْThis is not هٰذَاۤThis is not اِلَّاbut سِحْرٌa magic مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(7) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if اَخَّرْنَاWe delay عَنْهُمُfrom them الْعَذَابَthe punishment اِلٰۤیfor اُمَّةٍa time مَّعْدُوْدَةٍdetermined لَّیَقُوْلُنَّthey will surely say مَاWhat یَحْبِسُهٗ ؕdetains it اَلَاNo doubt یَوْمَ(On) the Day یَاْتِیْهِمْit comes to them لَیْسَnot مَصْرُوْفًا(will be) averted عَنْهُمْfrom them وَحَاقَand will surround بِهِمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) بِهٖmock at [it] یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock at [it] ۟۠(8) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if اَذَقْنَاWe give man a taste الْاِنْسَانَWe give man a taste مِنَّا(of) Mercy from Us رَحْمَةً(of) Mercy from Us ثُمَّthen نَزَعْنٰهَاWe withdraw it مِنْهُ ۚfrom him اِنَّهٗindeed, he لَیَـُٔوْسٌ(is) despairing كَفُوْرٌ(and) ungrateful ۟(9) وَلَىِٕنْBut if اَذَقْنٰهُWe give him a taste نَعْمَآءَ(of) favor بَعْدَafter ضَرَّآءَhardship مَسَّتْهُ(has) touched him لَیَقُوْلَنَّsurely, he will say ذَهَبَHave gone السَّیِّاٰتُthe evils عَنِّیْ ؕfrom me اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَفَرِحٌ(is) exultant فَخُوْرٌ(and) boastful ۟ۙ(10) اِلَّاExcept الَّذِیْنَthose who صَبَرُوْا(are) patient وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِ ؕthe good deeds اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose لَهُمْfor them مَّغْفِرَةٌ(will be) forgiveness وَّاَجْرٌand a reward كَبِیْرٌgreat ۟(11) فَلَعَلَّكَThen possibly you تَارِكٌ(may) give up بَعْضَa part مَا(of) what یُوْحٰۤیis revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَضَآىِٕقٌand straitened بِهٖby it صَدْرُكَyour breast اَنْbecause یَّقُوْلُوْاthey say لَوْلَاۤWhy not اُنْزِلَis sent down عَلَیْهِfor him كَنْزٌa treasure اَوْor جَآءَhas come مَعَهٗwith him مَلَكٌ ؕan Angel اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنْتَyou نَذِیْرٌ ؕ(are) a warner وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing وَّكِیْلٌa Guardian ۟ؕ(12) Surah 11. Hud - Page 222 - Juz 12 اَمْOr یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say افْتَرٰىهُ ؕHe has fabricated it قُلْSay فَاْتُوْاThen bring بِعَشْرِten سُوَرٍSurahs مِّثْلِهٖlike it مُفْتَرَیٰتٍfabricated وَّادْعُوْاand call مَنِwhoever اسْتَطَعْتُمْyou can مِّنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(13) فَاِلَّمْThen if not یَسْتَجِیْبُوْاthey respond لَكُمْto you فَاعْلَمُوْۤاthen know اَنَّمَاۤthat اُنْزِلَit was sent down بِعِلْمِwith the knowledge of Allah اللّٰهِwith the knowledge of Allah وَاَنْand that لَّاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHim فَهَلْThen, would اَنْتُمْyou مُّسْلِمُوْنَ(be) Muslims ۟(14) مَنْWhoever [is] كَانَWhoever [is] یُرِیْدُdesires الْحَیٰوةَthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَزِیْنَتَهَاand its adornments نُوَفِّWe will repay in full اِلَیْهِمْto them اَعْمَالَهُمْ(for) their deeds فِیْهَاtherein وَهُمْand they فِیْهَاin it لَاwill not be lessened یُبْخَسُوْنَwill not be lessened ۟(15) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who لَیْسَ(is) not لَهُمْfor them فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter اِلَّاexcept النَّارُ ۖؗthe Fire وَحَبِطَAnd (has) gone in vain مَاwhat صَنَعُوْاthey did فِیْهَاtherein وَبٰطِلٌand (is) worthless مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(16) اَفَمَنْThen is he who كَانَis عَلٰیon بَیِّنَةٍa clear proof مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖhis Lord وَیَتْلُوْهُand recites it شَاهِدٌa witness مِّنْهُfrom Him وَمِنْand before it قَبْلِهٖand before it كِتٰبُ(was) a Book مُوْسٰۤی(of) Musa اِمَامًا(as) a guide وَّرَحْمَةً ؕand (as) mercy اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِهٖ ؕin it وَمَنْBut whoever یَّكْفُرْdisbelieves بِهٖin it مِنَamong الْاَحْزَابِthe sects فَالنَّارُthen the Fire مَوْعِدُهٗ ۚ(will be) his promised (meeting) place فَلَاSo (do) not تَكُbe فِیْin مِرْیَةٍdoubt مِّنْهُ ۗabout it اِنَّهُIndeed, it الْحَقُّ(is) the truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(17) وَمَنْAnd who اَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنِthan (he) who افْتَرٰیinvents عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًا ؕa lie اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose یُعْرَضُوْنَwill be presented عَلٰیbefore رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَیَقُوْلُand will say الْاَشْهَادُthe witnesses هٰۤؤُلَآءِThese (are) الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَبُوْاlied عَلٰیagainst رَبِّهِمْ ۚtheir Lord اَلَاNo doubt لَعْنَةُ(The) curse of Allah اللّٰهِ(The) curse of Allah عَلَی(is) on الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۙ(18) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَصُدُّوْنَhinder عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَیَبْغُوْنَهَاand seek (in) it عِوَجًا ؕcrookedness وَهُمْwhile they بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter هُمْ[they] كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(19) Surah 11. Hud - Page 223 - Juz 12 اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَمْnot یَكُوْنُوْاwill be مُعْجِزِیْنَ(able to) escape فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَمَاand not كَانَis لَهُمْfor them مِّنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany اَوْلِیَآءَ ۘprotectors یُضٰعَفُAnd will be doubled لَهُمُfor them الْعَذَابُ ؕthe punishment مَاNot كَانُوْاthey were یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَable السَّمْعَ(to) hear وَمَاand not كَانُوْاthey used (to) یُبْصِرُوْنَsee ۟(20) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who خَسِرُوْۤا(have) lost اَنْفُسَهُمْtheir souls وَضَلَّand lost عَنْهُمْfrom them مَّا(is) what كَانُوْاthey used یَفْتَرُوْنَ(to) invent ۟(21) لَاNo جَرَمَdoubt اَنَّهُمْthat they فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter هُمُ[they] الْاَخْسَرُوْنَ(will be) the greatest losers ۟(22) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِgood deeds وَاَخْبَتُوْۤاand humble themselves اِلٰیbefore رَبِّهِمْ ۙtheir Lord اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَنَّةِ ۚ(of) Paradise هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(23) مَثَلُ(The) example الْفَرِیْقَیْنِ(of) the two parties كَالْاَعْمٰی(is) like the blind وَالْاَصَمِّand the deaf وَالْبَصِیْرِand the seer وَالسَّمِیْعِ ؕand the hearer هَلْAre یَسْتَوِیٰنِthey equal مَثَلًا ؕ(in) comparison اَفَلَاThen, will not تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou take heed ۟۠(24) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent نُوْحًاNuh اِلٰیto قَوْمِهٖۤ ؗhis people اِنِّیْIndeed, I am لَكُمْto you نَذِیْرٌa warner مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟ۙ(25) اَنْThat لَّا(do) not تَعْبُدُوْۤاworship اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهَ ؕAllah اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear عَلَیْكُمْfor you عَذَابَ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Day اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟(26) فَقَالَSo said الْمَلَاُthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْfrom قَوْمِهٖhis people مَاNot نَرٰىكَwe see you اِلَّاbut بَشَرًاa man مِّثْلَنَاlike us وَمَاand not نَرٰىكَwe see you اتَّبَعَكَfollowed [you] اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose who هُمْ[they] اَرَاذِلُنَا(are) the lowest of us بَادِیَimmature in opinion الرَّاْیِ ۚimmature in opinion وَمَاAnd not نَرٰیwe see لَكُمْin you عَلَیْنَاover us مِنْany فَضْلٍۢmerit بَلْnay نَظُنُّكُمْwe think you كٰذِبِیْنَ(are) liars ۟(27) قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَرَءَیْتُمْDo you see اِنْif كُنْتُI was عَلٰیon بَیِّنَةٍ(the) clear proof مِّنْfrom رَّبِّیْmy Lord وَاٰتٰىنِیْwhile He has given me رَحْمَةًmercy مِّنْfrom عِنْدِهٖHimself فَعُمِّیَتْbut (it) has been obscured عَلَیْكُمْ ؕfrom you اَنُلْزِمُكُمُوْهَاshould We compel you (to accept) it وَاَنْتُمْwhile you (are) لَهَاaverse to it كٰرِهُوْنَaverse to it ۟(28) Surah 11. Hud - Page 224 - Juz 12 وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people لَاۤnot اَسْـَٔلُكُمْI ask (of) you عَلَیْهِfor it مَالًا ؕany wealth اِنْNot اَجْرِیَ(is) my reward اِلَّاexcept عَلَیfrom اللّٰهِAllah وَمَاۤAnd not اَنَاI am بِطَارِدِgoing to drive away الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْا ؕbelieved اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they مُّلٰقُوْا(will) be meeting رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَلٰكِنِّیْۤbut I اَرٰىكُمْsee you قَوْمًا(are) a people تَجْهَلُوْنَignorant ۟(29) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people مَنْWho یَّنْصُرُنِیْwould help me مِنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah اِنْif طَرَدْتُّهُمْ ؕI drove them away اَفَلَاThen, will not تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou take heed ۟(30) وَلَاۤAnd not اَقُوْلُI say لَكُمْto you عِنْدِیْ(that) with me خَزَآىِٕنُ(are the) treasures اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاۤand not اَعْلَمُI know الْغَیْبَthe unseen وَلَاۤand not اَقُوْلُI say اِنِّیْthat I am مَلَكٌan Angel وَّلَاۤand not اَقُوْلُI say لِلَّذِیْنَfor those whom تَزْدَرِیْۤlook down upon اَعْیُنُكُمْyour eyes لَنْnever یُّؤْتِیَهُمُwill Allah give them اللّٰهُwill Allah give them خَیْرًا ؕany good اَللّٰهُAllah اَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاwhat فِیْۤ(is) in اَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖۚtheir souls اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اِذًاthen لَّمِنَ(will be) surely of الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(31) قَالُوْاThey said یٰنُوْحُO Nuh قَدْIndeed جٰدَلْتَنَاyou disputed with us فَاَكْثَرْتَand you (have been) frequent جِدَالَنَا(in) dispute with us فَاْتِنَاSo bring us بِمَاwhat تَعِدُنَاۤyou threaten us (with) اِنْif كُنْتَyou are مِنَof الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(32) قَالَHe said اِنَّمَاOnly یَاْتِیْكُمْwill bring it (on) you بِهِwill bring it (on) you اللّٰهُAllah اِنْif شَآءَHe wills وَمَاۤand not اَنْتُمْyou (are) بِمُعْجِزِیْنَone who (can) escape (it) ۟(33) وَلَاAnd (will) not یَنْفَعُكُمْbenefit you نُصْحِیْۤmy advice اِنْ(even) if اَرَدْتُّI wish اَنْto اَنْصَحَ[I] advise لَكُمْ[to] you اِنْif كَانَit was Allah's اللّٰهُit was Allah's یُرِیْدُwill اَنْto یُّغْوِیَكُمْ ؕlet you go astray هُوَHe (is) رَبُّكُمْ ۫your Lord وَاِلَیْهِand to Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟ؕ(34) اَمْOr یَقُوْلُوْنَ(do) they say افْتَرٰىهُ ؕHe has invented it قُلْSay اِنِIf افْتَرَیْتُهٗI have invented it فَعَلَیَّthen on me اِجْرَامِیْ(is) my crime وَاَنَاbut I am بَرِیْٓءٌinnocent مِّمَّاof what تُجْرِمُوْنَcrimes you commit ۟۠(35) وَاُوْحِیَAnd it was revealed اِلٰیto نُوْحٍNuh اَنَّهٗThat لَنْwill never یُّؤْمِنَbelieve مِنْfrom قَوْمِكَyour people اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(those) who قَدْhave already اٰمَنَbelieved فَلَاSo (do) not تَبْتَىِٕسْ(be) distressed بِمَاby what كَانُوْاthey have been یَفْعَلُوْنَdoing ۟ۚۖ(36) وَاصْنَعِAnd construct الْفُلْكَthe ship بِاَعْیُنِنَاunder Our Eyes وَوَحْیِنَاand Our inspiration وَلَاand (do) not تُخَاطِبْنِیْaddress Me فِیconcerning الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْا ۚwronged اِنَّهُمْindeed, they (are) مُّغْرَقُوْنَthe ones (to be) drowned ۟(37) Surah 11. Hud - Page 225 - Juz 12 وَیَصْنَعُAnd he was constructing الْفُلْكَ ۫the ship وَكُلَّمَاand every time مَرَّpassed عَلَیْهِby him مَلَاٌ(the) chiefs مِّنْof قَوْمِهٖhis people سَخِرُوْاthey ridiculed مِنْهُ ؕ[of] him قَالَHe said اِنْIf تَسْخَرُوْاyou ridicule مِنَّاus فَاِنَّاthen we نَسْخَرُcan ridicule مِنْكُمْyou كَمَاas تَسْخَرُوْنَyou ridicule ۟ؕ(38) فَسَوْفَAnd soon تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۙyou will know مَنْ(on) whom یَّاْتِیْهِwill come عَذَابٌa punishment یُّخْزِیْهِ(that) will disgrace him وَیَحِلُّand will descend عَلَیْهِon him عَذَابٌa punishment مُّقِیْمٌlasting ۟(39) حَتّٰۤیTill اِذَاwhen جَآءَcame اَمْرُنَاOur command وَفَارَand overflowed التَّنُّوْرُ ۙthe oven قُلْنَاWe said احْمِلْLoad فِیْهَاin it مِنْof كُلٍّevery kind زَوْجَیْنِa pair اثْنَیْنِtwo وَاَهْلَكَand your family اِلَّاexcept مَنْwho سَبَقَhas preceded عَلَیْهِagainst him الْقَوْلُthe word وَمَنْand whoever اٰمَنَ ؕbelieved وَمَاۤAnd not اٰمَنَbelieved مَعَهٗۤwith him اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلٌa few ۟(40) وَقَالَAnd he said ارْكَبُوْاEmbark فِیْهَاin it بِسْمِin the name اللّٰهِof Allah مَؔجْرٖىهَا(is) its course وَمُرْسٰىهَا ؕand its anchorage اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord لَغَفُوْرٌ(is) certainly Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(41) وَهِیَAnd it تَجْرِیْsailed بِهِمْwith them فِیْon مَوْجٍthe waves كَالْجِبَالِ ۫like mountains وَنَادٰیand Nuh called out نُوْحُand Nuh called out بْنَهٗ(to) his son وَكَانَand he was فِیْ[in] مَعْزِلٍapart یّٰبُنَیَّO my son ارْكَبْEmbark مَّعَنَاwith us وَلَاand (do) not تَكُنْbe مَّعَwith الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(42) قَالَHe said سَاٰوِیْۤI will betake myself اِلٰیto جَبَلٍa mountain یَّعْصِمُنِیْ(that) will save me مِنَfrom الْمَآءِ ؕthe water قَالَHe said لَا(There is) no عَاصِمَprotector الْیَوْمَtoday مِنْfrom اَمْرِthe Command of Allah اللّٰهِthe Command of Allah اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(on) whom رَّحِمَ ۚHe has mercy وَحَالَAnd came بَیْنَهُمَا(in) between them الْمَوْجُthe waves فَكَانَso he was مِنَamong الْمُغْرَقِیْنَthe drowned ۟(43) وَقِیْلَAnd it was said یٰۤاَرْضُO earth ابْلَعِیْSwallow مَآءَكِyour water وَیٰسَمَآءُand O sky اَقْلِعِیْWithhold وَغِیْضَAnd subsided الْمَآءُthe water وَقُضِیَand was fulfilled الْاَمْرُthe Command وَاسْتَوَتْAnd it rested عَلَیon الْجُوْدِیِّthe Judi وَقِیْلَAnd it was said بُعْدًاAway لِّلْقَوْمِwith the people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(44) وَنَادٰیAnd Nuh called نُوْحٌAnd Nuh called رَّبَّهٗ(to) his Lord فَقَالَand said رَبِّO my Lord اِنَّIndeed ابْنِیْmy son مِنْ(is) of اَهْلِیْmy family وَاِنَّand indeed وَعْدَكَYour promise الْحَقُّ(is) true وَاَنْتَand You اَحْكَمُ(are) the Most Just الْحٰكِمِیْنَ(of) the judges ۟(45) Surah 11. Hud - Page 226 - Juz 12 قَالَHe said یٰنُوْحُO Nuh اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَیْسَ(is) not مِنْof اَهْلِكَ ۚyour family اِنَّهٗindeed, [he] عَمَلٌ(his) deed غَیْرُ(is) other than صَالِحٍ ۖؗۗrighteous فَلَاso (do) not تَسْـَٔلْنِask Me مَا(about) what لَیْسَnot لَكَyou have بِهٖof it عِلْمٌ ؕany knowledge اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَعِظُكَadmonish you اَنْlest تَكُوْنَyou be مِنَamong الْجٰهِلِیْنَthe ignorant ۟(46) قَالَHe said رَبِّO my Lord اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَعُوْذُseek refuge بِكَin You اَنْthat اَسْـَٔلَكَI (should) ask You مَاwhat لَیْسَnot لِیْI have بِهٖof it عِلْمٌ ؕknowledge وَاِلَّاAnd unless تَغْفِرْYou forgive لِیْme وَتَرْحَمْنِیْۤand You have mercy on me اَكُنْI will be مِّنَamong الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(47) قِیْلَIt was said یٰنُوْحُO Nuh اهْبِطْGo down بِسَلٰمٍwith peace مِّنَّاfrom Us وَبَرَكٰتٍand blessings عَلَیْكَon you وَعَلٰۤیand on اُمَمٍthe nations مِّمَّنْfrom those مَّعَكَ ؕwith you وَاُمَمٌBut (to other) nations سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْWe will grant enjoyment ثُمَّthen یَمَسُّهُمْwill touch them مِّنَّاfrom Us عَذَابٌa punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(48) تِلْكَThis مِنْ(is) from اَنْۢبَآءِthe news الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen نُوْحِیْهَاۤ(which) We reveal اِلَیْكَ ۚto you مَاNot كُنْتَyou were تَعْلَمُهَاۤknowing it اَنْتَyou وَلَاand not قَوْمُكَyour people مِنْfrom قَبْلِbefore هٰذَا ۛؕthis فَاصْبِرْ ۛؕSo be patient اِنَّindeed الْعَاقِبَةَthe end لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ(is) for the God fearing ۟۠(49) وَاِلٰیAnd to عَادٍAad اَخَاهُمْ(We sent) their brother هُوْدًا ؕHud قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْ(is) for you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him اِنْNot اَنْتُمْyou اِلَّا(are) but مُفْتَرُوْنَinventors ۟(50) یٰقَوْمِO my people لَاۤNot اَسْـَٔلُكُمْI ask you عَلَیْهِfor it اَجْرًا ؕany reward اِنْNot اَجْرِیَ(is) my reward اِلَّاexcept عَلَیfrom الَّذِیْthe One Who فَطَرَنِیْ ؕcreated me اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟(51) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people اسْتَغْفِرُوْاAsk forgiveness رَبَّكُمْ(of) your Lord ثُمَّthen تُوْبُوْۤاturn in repentance اِلَیْهِto Him یُرْسِلِHe will send السَّمَآءَ(from) the sky (rain) عَلَیْكُمْupon you مِّدْرَارًا(in) abundance وَّیَزِدْكُمْand increase you قُوَّةً(in) strength اِلٰی(added) to قُوَّتِكُمْyour strength وَلَاAnd (do) not تَتَوَلَّوْاturn away مُجْرِمِیْنَ(as) criminals ۟(52) قَالُوْاThey said یٰهُوْدُO Hud مَاYou have not brought us جِئْتَنَاYou have not brought us بِبَیِّنَةٍclear proofs وَّمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِتَارِكِیْۤ(will) leave اٰلِهَتِنَاour gods عَنْon قَوْلِكَyour saying وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe (are) لَكَin you بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(53) Surah 11. Hud - Page 227 - Juz 12 اِنْNot نَّقُوْلُwe say اِلَّاexcept (that) اعْتَرٰىكَhave seized you بَعْضُsome اٰلِهَتِنَا(of) our gods بِسُوْٓءٍ ؕwith evil قَالَHe said اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اُشْهِدُ[I] call Allah to witness اللّٰهَ[I] call Allah to witness وَاشْهَدُوْۤاand (you) bear witness اَنِّیْthat I am بَرِیْٓءٌinnocent مِّمَّاof what تُشْرِكُوْنَyou associate ۟ۙ(54) مِنْOther than Him دُوْنِهٖOther than Him فَكِیْدُوْنِیْSo plot against me جَمِیْعًاall together ثُمَّthen لَا(do) not تُنْظِرُوْنِgive me respite ۟(55) اِنِّیْIndeed, I تَوَكَّلْتُ[I] put my trust عَلَیupon اللّٰهِAllah رَبِّیْmy Lord وَرَبِّكُمْ ؕand your Lord مَا(There is) not مِنْof a moving creature دَآبَّةٍof a moving creature اِلَّاbut هُوَHe اٰخِذٌhas grasp بِنَاصِیَتِهَا ؕof its forelock اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord عَلٰی(is) on صِرَاطٍa path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟(56) فَاِنْSo if تَوَلَّوْاyou turn away فَقَدْthen verily اَبْلَغْتُكُمْI have conveyed to you مَّاۤwhat اُرْسِلْتُI was sent بِهٖۤwith [it] اِلَیْكُمْ ؕto you وَیَسْتَخْلِفُAnd my Lord will give succession رَبِّیْAnd my Lord will give succession قَوْمًا(to) a people غَیْرَكُمْ ۚother than you وَلَاand not تَضُرُّوْنَهٗyou will harm Him شَیْـًٔا ؕ(in) anything اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّall شَیْءٍthings حَفِیْظٌa Guardian ۟(57) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَcame اَمْرُنَاOur command نَجَّیْنَاWe saved هُوْدًاHud وَّالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗwith him بِرَحْمَةٍby a Mercy مِّنَّا ۚfrom Us وَنَجَّیْنٰهُمْand We saved them مِّنْfrom عَذَابٍa punishment غَلِیْظٍsevere ۟(58) وَتِلْكَAnd this عَادٌ ۙ۫(was) Aad جَحَدُوْاthey rejected بِاٰیٰتِ(the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَعَصَوْاand disobeyed رُسُلَهٗHis Messengers وَاتَّبَعُوْۤاand followed اَمْرَ(the) command كُلِّ(of) every جَبَّارٍtyrant عَنِیْدٍobstinate ۟(59) وَاُتْبِعُوْاAnd they were followed فِیْin هٰذِهِthis الدُّنْیَاworld لَعْنَةً(with) a curse وَّیَوْمَand (on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّIndeed عَادًاAad كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved رَبَّهُمْ ؕtheir Lord اَلَاSo بُعْدًاaway لِّعَادٍwith Aad قَوْمِ(the) people هُوْدٍ(of) Hud ۟۠(60) وَاِلٰیAnd to ثَمُوْدَThamud اَخَاهُمْ(We sent) their brother صٰلِحًا ۘSalih قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْyou have مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him هُوَHe اَنْشَاَكُمْproduced you مِّنَfrom الْاَرْضِthe earth وَاسْتَعْمَرَكُمْand settled you فِیْهَاin it فَاسْتَغْفِرُوْهُSo ask forgiveness of Him ثُمَّthen تُوْبُوْۤاturn in repentance اِلَیْهِ ؕto Him اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord قَرِیْبٌ(is) near مُّجِیْبٌAll-Responsive ۟(61) قَالُوْاThey said یٰصٰلِحُO Salih قَدْVerily كُنْتَyou were فِیْنَاamong us مَرْجُوًّاthe one in whom hope was placed قَبْلَbefore هٰذَاۤthis اَتَنْهٰىنَاۤDo you forbid us اَنْthat نَّعْبُدَwe worship مَاwhat یَعْبُدُour forefathers worshipped اٰبَآؤُنَاour forefathers worshipped وَاِنَّنَاAnd indeed we لَفِیْsurely (are) in شَكٍّdoubt مِّمَّاabout what تَدْعُوْنَاۤyou call us اِلَیْهِto it مُرِیْبٍsuspicious ۟(62) Surah 11. Hud - Page 228 - Juz 12 قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَرَءَیْتُمْDo you see اِنْif كُنْتُI am عَلٰیon بَیِّنَةٍa clear proof مِّنْfrom رَّبِّیْmy Lord وَاٰتٰىنِیْand He has given me مِنْهُfrom Him رَحْمَةًa Mercy فَمَنْthen who یَّنْصُرُنِیْ(can) help me مِنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah اِنْif عَصَیْتُهٗ ۫I (were to) disobey Him فَمَاSo not تَزِیْدُوْنَنِیْyou would increase me غَیْرَbut تَخْسِیْرٍ(in) loss ۟(63) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people هٰذِهٖThis نَاقَةُshe-camel اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَكُمْ(is) for you اٰیَةًa Sign فَذَرُوْهَاso leave her تَاْكُلْto eat فِیْۤin اَرْضِthe earth اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand (do) not تَمَسُّوْهَاtouch her بِسُوْٓءٍwith harm فَیَاْخُذَكُمْlest will seize you عَذَابٌa punishment قَرِیْبٌimpending ۟(64) فَعَقَرُوْهَاBut they hamstrung her فَقَالَSo he said تَمَتَّعُوْاEnjoy (yourselves) فِیْin دَارِكُمْyour home(s) ثَلٰثَةَ(for) three اَیَّامٍ ؕdays ذٰلِكَThat وَعْدٌ(is) a promise غَیْرُnot مَكْذُوْبٍ(to) be belied ۟(65) فَلَمَّاSo when جَآءَcame اَمْرُنَاOur command نَجَّیْنَاWe saved صٰلِحًاSalih وَّالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗwith him بِرَحْمَةٍby a Mercy مِّنَّاfrom Us وَمِنْand from خِزْیِ(the) disgrace یَوْمِىِٕذٍ ؕ(of) that Day اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord هُوَHe الْقَوِیُّ(is) All-Strong الْعَزِیْزُAll-Mighty ۟(66) وَاَخَذَAnd seized الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُواwronged الصَّیْحَةُthe thunderous blast فَاَصْبَحُوْاthen they became فِیْin دِیَارِهِمْtheir homes جٰثِمِیْنَfallen prone ۟ۙ(67) كَاَنْAs if لَّمْnot یَغْنَوْاthey (had) prospered فِیْهَا ؕtherein اَلَاۤNo doubt اِنَّindeed ثَمُوْدَاۡThamud كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved رَبَّهُمْ ؕ(in) their Lord اَلَاso بُعْدًاaway لِّثَمُوْدَwith Thamud ۟۠(68) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly جَآءَتْcame رُسُلُنَاۤOur messengers اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(to) Ibrahim بِالْبُشْرٰیwith glad tidings قَالُوْاthey said سَلٰمًا ؕPeace قَالَHe said سَلٰمٌPeace فَمَاand not he delayed لَبِثَand not he delayed اَنْto جَآءَbring بِعِجْلٍa calf حَنِیْذٍroasted ۟(69) فَلَمَّاBut when رَاٰۤhe saw اَیْدِیَهُمْtheir hands لَاnot تَصِلُreaching اِلَیْهِto it نَكِرَهُمْhe felt unfamiliar of them وَاَوْجَسَand felt apprehension مِنْهُمْfrom them خِیْفَةً ؕ[a fear] قَالُوْاThey said لَا(Do) not تَخَفْfear اِنَّاۤIndeed, we اُرْسِلْنَاۤ[we] have been sent اِلٰیto قَوْمِ(the) people لُوْطٍ(of) Lut ۟ؕ(70) وَامْرَاَتُهٗAnd his wife قَآىِٕمَةٌ(was) standing فَضَحِكَتْand she laughed فَبَشَّرْنٰهَاThen We gave her glad tidings بِاِسْحٰقَ ۙof Isaac وَمِنْand after وَّرَآءِand after اِسْحٰقَIsaac یَعْقُوْبَ(of) Yaqub ۟(71) Surah 11. Hud - Page 229 - Juz 12 قَالَتْShe said یٰوَیْلَتٰۤیWoe to me ءَاَلِدُShall I bear a child وَاَنَاwhile I am عَجُوْزٌan old woman وَّهٰذَاand this بَعْلِیْmy husband شَیْخًا ؕ(is) an old man اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَشَیْءٌ(is) surely a thing عَجِیْبٌamazing ۟(72) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَتَعْجَبِیْنَAre you amazed مِنْat اَمْرِ(the) decree of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) decree of Allah رَحْمَتُThe Mercy of Allah اللّٰهِThe Mercy of Allah وَبَرَكٰتُهٗand His blessings عَلَیْكُمْ(be) upon you اَهْلَpeople الْبَیْتِ ؕ(of) the house اِنَّهٗIndeed, He حَمِیْدٌ(is) All-Praiseworthy مَّجِیْدٌAll-Glorious ۟(73) فَلَمَّاAnd when ذَهَبَ(had) gone away عَنْfrom اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim الرَّوْعُthe fright وَجَآءَتْهُand had reached him الْبُشْرٰیthe glad tidings یُجَادِلُنَاhe argued with Us فِیْconcerning قَوْمِthe people لُوْطٍof Lut ۟ؕ(74) اِنَّIndeed اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim لَحَلِیْمٌ(was) certainly forbearing اَوَّاهٌimploring مُّنِیْبٌand oft-returning ۟(75) یٰۤاِبْرٰهِیْمُO Ibrahim اَعْرِضْTurn away عَنْfrom هٰذَا ۚthis اِنَّهٗIndeed, it قَدْcertainly جَآءَhas come اَمْرُ(the) Command رَبِّكَ ۚ(of) your Lord وَاِنَّهُمْand indeed, [they] اٰتِیْهِمْ(will) come (for) them عَذَابٌa punishment غَیْرُ(which) cannot مَرْدُوْدٍ(be) repelled ۟(76) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَتْcame رُسُلُنَاOur messengers لُوْطًا(to) Lut سِیْٓءَhe was distressed بِهِمْfor them وَضَاقَand felt straitened بِهِمْfor them ذَرْعًا(and) uneasy وَّقَالَand said هٰذَاThis یَوْمٌ(is) a day عَصِیْبٌdistressful ۟(77) وَجَآءَهٗAnd came (to) him قَوْمُهٗhis people یُهْرَعُوْنَrushing اِلَیْهِ ؕto him وَمِنْand before قَبْلُand before كَانُوْاthey (had) been یَعْمَلُوْنَdoing السَّیِّاٰتِ ؕthe evil deeds قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people هٰۤؤُلَآءِThese بَنَاتِیْ(are) my daughters هُنَّthey اَطْهَرُ(are) purer لَكُمْfor you فَاتَّقُواSo fear اللّٰهَAllah وَلَاand (do) not تُخْزُوْنِdisgrace me فِیْconcerning ضَیْفِیْ ؕmy guests اَلَیْسَIs (there) not مِنْكُمْamong you رَجُلٌa man رَّشِیْدٌright-minded ۟(78) قَالُوْاThey said لَقَدْVerily عَلِمْتَyou know مَا(that) not لَنَاwe have فِیْconcerning بَنٰتِكَyour daughters مِنْany حَقٍّ ۚright وَاِنَّكَAnd indeed, you لَتَعْلَمُsurely know مَاwhat نُرِیْدُwe want ۟(79) قَالَHe said لَوْIf اَنَّthat لِیْI had بِكُمْover you قُوَّةًpower اَوْor اٰوِیْۤI could take refuge اِلٰیin رُكْنٍa support شَدِیْدٍstrong ۟(80) قَالُوْاThey said یٰلُوْطُO Lut اِنَّاIndeed, we رُسُلُ(are) messengers رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord لَنْnever یَّصِلُوْۤاthey will reach اِلَیْكَyou فَاَسْرِSo travel بِاَهْلِكَwith your family بِقِطْعٍin a part مِّنَof الَّیْلِthe night وَلَاand (let) not یَلْتَفِتْlook back مِنْكُمْanyone of you اَحَدٌanyone of you اِلَّاexcept امْرَاَتَكَ ؕyour wife اِنَّهٗIndeed, it مُصِیْبُهَاwill strike her مَاۤwhat اَصَابَهُمْ ؕwill strike them اِنَّIndeed مَوْعِدَهُمُtheir appointed time الصُّبْحُ ؕ(is) morning اَلَیْسَIs not الصُّبْحُthe morning بِقَرِیْبٍnear ۟(81) Surah 11. Hud - Page 230 - Juz 12 فَلَمَّاSo when جَآءَcame اَمْرُنَاOur Command جَعَلْنَاWe made عَالِیَهَاits upside سَافِلَهَاits downside وَاَمْطَرْنَاand We rained عَلَیْهَاupon them حِجَارَةًstones مِّنْof سِجِّیْلٍ ۙ۬baked clay مَّنْضُوْدٍ(in) layers ۟ۙ(82) مُّسَوَّمَةًMarked عِنْدَfrom رَبِّكَ ؕyour Lord وَمَاAnd not هِیَit مِنَ(is) from الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers بِبَعِیْدٍfar ۟۠(83) وَاِلٰیAnd to مَدْیَنَMadyan اَخَاهُمْtheir brother شُعَیْبًا ؕShuaib قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْ(is) for you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him وَلَاAnd (do) not تَنْقُصُواdecrease الْمِكْیَالَ(from) the measure وَالْمِیْزَانَand the scale اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَرٰىكُمْsee you بِخَیْرٍin prosperity وَّاِنِّیْۤbut indeed, I اَخَافُfear عَلَیْكُمْfor you عَذَابَpunishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Day مُّحِیْطٍall-encompassing ۟(84) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people اَوْفُواGive full الْمِكْیَالَmeasure وَالْمِیْزَانَand weight بِالْقِسْطِin justice وَلَاand (do) not تَبْخَسُواdeprive النَّاسَthe people اَشْیَآءَهُمْ(of) their things وَلَاand (do) not تَعْثَوْاact wickedly فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مُفْسِدِیْنَspreading corruption ۟(85) بَقِیَّتُ(What) remains اللّٰهِ(from) Allah خَیْرٌ(is) best لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ ۚ۬believers وَمَاۤAnd not اَنَاI am عَلَیْكُمْover you بِحَفِیْظٍa guardian ۟(86) قَالُوْاThey said یٰشُعَیْبُO Shuaib اَصَلٰوتُكَDoes your prayer تَاْمُرُكَcommand you اَنْthat نَّتْرُكَwe leave مَاwhat یَعْبُدُworship اٰبَآؤُنَاۤour forefathers اَوْor اَنْthat نَّفْعَلَwe do فِیْۤconcerning اَمْوَالِنَاour wealth مَاwhat نَشٰٓؤُا ؕwe will اِنَّكَIndeed you لَاَنْتَsurely you الْحَلِیْمُ(are) the forbearing الرَّشِیْدُthe right-minded ۟(87) قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَرَءَیْتُمْDo you see اِنْif كُنْتُI am عَلٰیon بَیِّنَةٍa clear evidence مِّنْfrom رَّبِّیْmy Lord وَرَزَقَنِیْand He has provided me مِنْهُfrom Himself رِزْقًاa good provision حَسَنًا ؕa good provision وَمَاۤAnd not اُرِیْدُI intend اَنْthat اُخَالِفَكُمْI differ from you اِلٰیin مَاۤwhat اَنْهٰىكُمْI forbid you عَنْهُ ؕfrom it اِنْNot اُرِیْدُI intend اِلَّاexcept الْاِصْلَاحَthe reform مَاas much as I am able اسْتَطَعْتُ ؕas much as I am able وَمَاAnd not تَوْفِیْقِیْۤ(is) my success اِلَّاexcept بِاللّٰهِ ؕwith Allah عَلَیْهِUpon Him تَوَكَّلْتُI trust وَاِلَیْهِand to Him اُنِیْبُI turn ۟(88) Surah 11. Hud - Page 231 - Juz 12 وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people لَا(Let) not cause you to sin یَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ(Let) not cause you to sin شِقَاقِیْۤmy dissension اَنْlest یُّصِیْبَكُمْbefalls you مِّثْلُsimilar مَاۤ(to) what اَصَابَbefell قَوْمَ(the) people of Nuh نُوْحٍ(the) people of Nuh اَوْor قَوْمَ(the) people of Hud هُوْدٍ(the) people of Hud اَوْor قَوْمَpeople of Salih صٰلِحٍ ؕpeople of Salih وَمَاAnd not قَوْمُ(are the) people of Lut لُوْطٍ(are the) people of Lut مِّنْكُمْfrom you بِبَعِیْدٍfar off ۟(89) وَاسْتَغْفِرُوْاAnd ask forgiveness رَبَّكُمْ(of) your Lord ثُمَّthen تُوْبُوْۤاturn in repentance اِلَیْهِ ؕto Him اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord رَحِیْمٌ(is) Most Merciful وَّدُوْدٌMost Loving ۟(90) قَالُوْاThey said یٰشُعَیْبُO Shuaib مَاNot نَفْقَهُwe understand كَثِیْرًاmuch مِّمَّاof what تَقُوْلُyou say وَاِنَّاand indeed, we لَنَرٰىكَsurely [we] see you فِیْنَاamong us ضَعِیْفًا ۚweak وَلَوْلَاAnd if not رَهْطُكَfor your family لَرَجَمْنٰكَ ؗsurely we would have stoned you وَمَاۤand you are not اَنْتَand you are not عَلَیْنَاagainst us بِعَزِیْزٍmighty ۟(91) قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَرَهْطِیْۤIs my family اَعَزُّmightier عَلَیْكُمْon you مِّنَthan اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَاتَّخَذْتُمُوْهُAnd you have taken Him وَرَآءَكُمْbehind your ظِهْرِیًّا ؕbacks اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do مُحِیْطٌ(is) All-Encompassing ۟(92) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people اعْمَلُوْاWork عَلٰی(according) to مَكَانَتِكُمْyour position اِنِّیْindeed, I am عَامِلٌ ؕworking سَوْفَSoon تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۙyou will know مَنْ(on) whom یَّاْتِیْهِwill come عَذَابٌa punishment یُّخْزِیْهِ(that will) disgrace him وَمَنْand who هُوَ[he] كَاذِبٌ ؕ(is) a liar وَارْتَقِبُوْۤاAnd watch اِنِّیْindeed, I am مَعَكُمْwith you رَقِیْبٌa watcher ۟(93) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَcame اَمْرُنَاOur Command نَجَّیْنَاWe saved شُعَیْبًاShuaib وَّالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗwith him بِرَحْمَةٍby a Mercy مِّنَّاfrom Us وَاَخَذَتِAnd seized الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُواwronged الصَّیْحَةُthe thunderous blast فَاَصْبَحُوْاthen they became فِیْin دِیَارِهِمْtheir homes جٰثِمِیْنَfallen prone ۟ۙ(94) كَاَنْAs if لَّمْnot یَغْنَوْاthey (had) prospered فِیْهَا ؕtherein اَلَاSo بُعْدًاaway لِّمَدْیَنَwith Madyan كَمَاas بَعِدَتْwas taken away ثَمُوْدُthe Thamud ۟۠(95) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مُوْسٰیMusa بِاٰیٰتِنَاwith Our Signs وَسُلْطٰنٍand an authority مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟ۙ(96) اِلٰیTo فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهٖand his chiefs فَاتَّبَعُوْۤاbut they followed اَمْرَ(the) command of Firaun فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ(the) command of Firaun وَمَاۤand not اَمْرُ(the) command of Firaun فِرْعَوْنَ(the) command of Firaun بِرَشِیْدٍwas right ۟(97) Surah 11. Hud - Page 232 - Juz 12 یَقْدُمُHe will precede قَوْمَهٗhis people یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فَاَوْرَدَهُمُand lead them النَّارَ ؕ(into) the Fire وَبِئْسَAnd wretched الْوِرْدُ(is) the place الْمَوْرُوْدُto which (they are) led ۟(98) وَاُتْبِعُوْاAnd they were followed فِیْin هٰذِهٖthis لَعْنَةً(by) a curse وَّیَوْمَand (on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection بِئْسَWretched الرِّفْدُ(is) the gift الْمَرْفُوْدُwhich (will) be given ۟(99) ذٰلِكَThat مِنْ(is) from اَنْۢبَآءِ(the) news الْقُرٰی(of) the cities نَقُصُّهٗ(which) We relate عَلَیْكَto you مِنْهَاof them قَآىِٕمٌsome are standing وَّحَصِیْدٌand (some) mown ۟(100) وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمْنٰهُمْWe wronged them وَلٰكِنْbut ظَلَمُوْۤاthey wronged اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves فَمَاۤSo not اَغْنَتْavailed عَنْهُمْthem اٰلِهَتُهُمُtheir gods الَّتِیْwhich یَدْعُوْنَthey invoked مِنْother than Allah دُوْنِother than Allah اللّٰهِother than Allah مِنْany شَیْءٍthing لَّمَّاwhen جَآءَcame اَمْرُ(the) command (of) your Lord رَبِّكَ ؕ(the) command (of) your Lord وَمَاAnd not زَادُوْهُمْthey increased them غَیْرَother than تَتْبِیْبٍruin ۟(101) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَخْذُ(is) the seizure (of) your Lord رَبِّكَ(is) the seizure (of) your Lord اِذَاۤwhen اَخَذَHe seizes الْقُرٰیthe cities وَهِیَwhile they ظَالِمَةٌ ؕ(are) doing wrong اِنَّIndeed اَخْذَهٗۤHis seizure اَلِیْمٌ(is) painful شَدِیْدٌ(and) severe ۟(102) اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیَةً(is) surely a Sign لِّمَنْfor (those) who خَافَfear عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْاٰخِرَةِ ؕ(of) the Hereafter ذٰلِكَThat یَوْمٌ(is) a Day مَّجْمُوْعٌ ۙ(will) be gathered لَّهُon it النَّاسُthe mankind وَذٰلِكَand that یَوْمٌ(is) a Day مَّشْهُوْدٌwitnessed ۟(103) وَمَاAnd not نُؤَخِّرُهٗۤWe delay it اِلَّاexcept لِاَجَلٍfor a term مَّعْدُوْدٍlimited ۟ؕ(104) یَوْمَ(The) Day یَاْتِ(it) comes لَاnot تَكَلَّمُwill speak نَفْسٌa soul اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِهٖ ۚby His leave فَمِنْهُمْThen among them شَقِیٌّ(will be the) wretched وَّسَعِیْدٌand (the) glad ۟(105) فَاَمَّاAs for الَّذِیْنَthose who شَقُوْاwere wretched فَفِیthen (they will be) in النَّارِthe Fire لَهُمْFor them فِیْهَاtherein زَفِیْرٌ(is) sighing وَّشَهِیْقٌand wailing ۟ۙ(106) خٰلِدِیْنَ(Will be) abiding فِیْهَاtherein مَاas long as remain دَامَتِas long as remain السَّمٰوٰتُthe heavens وَالْاَرْضُand the earth اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat your Lord wills شَآءَwhat your Lord wills رَبُّكَ ؕwhat your Lord wills اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord فَعَّالٌ(is) All-Accomplisher لِّمَاof what یُرِیْدُHe intends ۟(107) وَاَمَّاAnd as for الَّذِیْنَthose who سُعِدُوْاwere glad فَفِیthen (they will be) in الْجَنَّةِParadise خٰلِدِیْنَ(will be) abiding فِیْهَاtherein مَاas long as remains دَامَتِas long as remains السَّمٰوٰتُthe heavens وَالْاَرْضُand the earth اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat your Lord wills شَآءَwhat your Lord wills رَبُّكَ ؕwhat your Lord wills عَطَآءًa bestowal غَیْرَnot مَجْذُوْذٍinterrupted ۟(108) Surah 11. Hud - Page 233 - Juz 12 فَلَاSo (do) not تَكُbe فِیْin مِرْیَةٍdoubt مِّمَّاas to what یَعْبُدُworship هٰۤؤُلَآءِ ؕthese (polytheists) مَاNot یَعْبُدُوْنَthey worship اِلَّاexcept كَمَاas what یَعْبُدُworshipped اٰبَآؤُهُمْtheir forefathers مِّنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, We لَمُوَفُّوْهُمْwill surely pay them in full نَصِیْبَهُمْtheir share غَیْرَwithout مَنْقُوْصٍbeing diminished ۟۠(109) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Book فَاخْتُلِفَbut differences arose فِیْهِ ؕtherein وَلَوْلَاAnd if not كَلِمَةٌ(for) a Word سَبَقَتْ(that) preceded مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord لَقُضِیَsurely would have been judged بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them وَاِنَّهُمْAnd indeed, they لَفِیْsurely (are) in شَكٍّdoubt مِّنْهُconcerning it مُرِیْبٍsuspicious ۟(110) وَاِنَّAnd indeed كُلًّاto each [when] لَّمَّاto each [when] لَیُوَفِّیَنَّهُمْsurely will pay them in full رَبُّكَyour Lord اَعْمَالَهُمْ ؕtheir deeds اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِمَاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do خَبِیْرٌ(is) All-Aware ۟(111) فَاسْتَقِمْSo stand firm كَمَاۤas اُمِرْتَyou are commanded وَمَنْand (those) who تَابَturn (in repentance) مَعَكَwith you وَلَاand (do) not تَطْغَوْا ؕtransgress اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(112) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَرْكَنُوْۤاincline اِلَیto الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاdo wrong فَتَمَسَّكُمُlest touches you النَّارُ ۙthe Fire وَمَاand not لَكُمْ(is) for you مِّنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah مِنْany اَوْلِیَآءَprotectors ثُمَّthen لَاnot تُنْصَرُوْنَyou will be helped ۟(113) وَاَقِمِAnd establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer طَرَفَیِ(at the) two ends النَّهَارِ(of) the day وَزُلَفًاand (at) the approach مِّنَof الَّیْلِ ؕthe night اِنَّIndeed الْحَسَنٰتِthe good deeds یُذْهِبْنَremove السَّیِّاٰتِ ؕthe evil deeds ذٰلِكَThat ذِكْرٰی(is) a reminder لِلذّٰكِرِیْنَfor those who remember ۟ۚ(114) وَاصْبِرْAnd be patient فَاِنَّfor indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُضِیْعُlet go waste اَجْرَ(the) reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟(115) فَلَوْلَاSo why not كَانَhad been مِنَof الْقُرُوْنِthe generations مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكُمْbefore you اُولُوْاthose possessing a remnant بَقِیَّةٍthose possessing a remnant یَّنْهَوْنَforbidding عَنِfrom الْفَسَادِthe corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa few مِّمَّنْof those اَنْجَیْنَاWe saved مِنْهُمْ ۚamong them وَاتَّبَعَBut followed الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاdid wrong مَاۤwhat اُتْرِفُوْاluxury they were given فِیْهِtherein وَكَانُوْاand they were مُجْرِمِیْنَcriminals ۟(116) وَمَاAnd not كَانَwould رَبُّكَyour Lord لِیُهْلِكَdestroy الْقُرٰیthe cities بِظُلْمٍunjustly وَّاَهْلُهَاwhile its people مُصْلِحُوْنَ(were) reformers ۟(117) Surah 11. Hud - Page 234 - Juz 12 وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَyour Lord (had) willed رَبُّكَyour Lord (had) willed لَجَعَلَsurely He (could) have made النَّاسَthe mankind اُمَّةًone community وَّاحِدَةًone community وَّلَاbut not یَزَالُوْنَthey will cease مُخْتَلِفِیْنَto differ ۟ۙ(118) اِلَّاExcept مَنْ(on) whom رَّحِمَyour Lord has bestowed Mercy رَبُّكَ ؕyour Lord has bestowed Mercy وَلِذٰلِكَand for that خَلَقَهُمْ ؕHe created them وَتَمَّتْAnd will be fulfilled كَلِمَةُ(the) Word of your Lord رَبِّكَ(the) Word of your Lord لَاَمْلَـَٔنَّSurely I will fill جَهَنَّمَHell مِنَwith الْجِنَّةِthe Jinn وَالنَّاسِand the men اَجْمَعِیْنَall together ۟(119) وَكُلًّاAnd each نَّقُصُّWe relate عَلَیْكَto you مِنْof اَنْۢبَآءِ(the) news الرُّسُلِ(of) the Messengers مَا(for) that نُثَبِّتُWe may make firm بِهٖwith it فُؤَادَكَ ۚyour heart وَجَآءَكَAnd has come to you فِیْin هٰذِهِthis الْحَقُّthe truth وَمَوْعِظَةٌand an admonition وَّذِكْرٰیand a reminder لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟(120) وَقُلْAnd say لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve اعْمَلُوْاWork عَلٰی(according) to مَكَانَتِكُمْ ؕyour position اِنَّاindeed, we عٰمِلُوْنَ(are also) working ۟ۙ(121) وَانْتَظِرُوْا ۚAnd wait اِنَّاindeed, we مُنْتَظِرُوْنَ(are) ones who wait ۟(122) وَلِلّٰهِAnd for Allah غَیْبُ(is the) unseen السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَاِلَیْهِand to Him یُرْجَعُwill be returned الْاَمْرُthe matter كُلُّهٗall (of) it فَاعْبُدْهُso worship Him وَتَوَكَّلْand put your trust عَلَیْهِ ؕupon Him وَمَاAnd your Lord is not رَبُّكَAnd your Lord is not بِغَافِلٍunaware عَمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟۠(123) Surah 12. Yusuf (Joseph) V111 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓرٰ ۫Alif Laam Ra تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are the) Verses الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book الْمُبِیْنِ[the] clear ۟۫(1) اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe have sent it down قُرْءٰنًا(as) a Quran in Arabic عَرَبِیًّا(as) a Quran in Arabic لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَعْقِلُوْنَunderstand ۟(2) نَحْنُWe نَقُصُّrelate عَلَیْكَto you اَحْسَنَthe best الْقَصَصِof the narrations بِمَاۤin what اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you هٰذَا(of) this الْقُرْاٰنَ ۖۗthe Quran وَاِنْalthough كُنْتَyou were مِنْbefore it قَبْلِهٖbefore it لَمِنَsurely among الْغٰفِلِیْنَthe unaware ۟(3) اِذْWhen قَالَsaid یُوْسُفُYusuf لِاَبِیْهِto his father یٰۤاَبَتِO my father اِنِّیْIndeed, I رَاَیْتُI saw اَحَدَeleven عَشَرَeleven كَوْكَبًاstars وَّالشَّمْسَand the sun وَالْقَمَرَand the moon رَاَیْتُهُمْI saw them لِیْto me سٰجِدِیْنَprostrating ۟(4) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 235 - Juz 12 قَالَHe said یٰبُنَیَّO my son لَا(Do) not تَقْصُصْrelate رُءْیَاكَyour vision عَلٰۤیto اِخْوَتِكَyour brothers فَیَكِیْدُوْاlest they plan لَكَagainst you كَیْدًا ؕa plot اِنَّIndeed الشَّیْطٰنَthe Shaitaan لِلْاِنْسَانِ(is) to man عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِیْنٌopen ۟(5) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus یَجْتَبِیْكَwill choose you رَبُّكَyour Lord وَیُعَلِّمُكَand will teach you مِنْof تَاْوِیْلِ(the) interpretation الْاَحَادِیْثِ(of) the narratives وَیُتِمُّand complete نِعْمَتَهٗHis Favor عَلَیْكَon you وَعَلٰۤیand on اٰلِ(the) family یَعْقُوْبَ(of) Yaqub كَمَاۤas اَتَمَّهَاHe completed it عَلٰۤیon اَبَوَیْكَyour two forefathers مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim وَاِسْحٰقَ ؕand Isaac اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟۠(6) لَقَدْCertainly كَانَwere فِیْin یُوْسُفَYusuf وَاِخْوَتِهٖۤand his brothers اٰیٰتٌsigns لِّلسَّآىِٕلِیْنَfor those who ask ۟(7) اِذْWhen قَالُوْاthey said لَیُوْسُفُSurely Yusuf وَاَخُوْهُand his brother اَحَبُّ(are) more beloved اِلٰۤیto اَبِیْنَاour father مِنَّاthan we وَنَحْنُwhile we عُصْبَةٌ ؕ(are) a group اِنَّIndeed اَبَانَاour father لَفِیْ(is) surely in ضَلٰلٍan error مُّبِیْنِclear ۟ۚۖ(8) قْتُلُوْاKill یُوْسُفَYusuf اَوِor اطْرَحُوْهُcast him اَرْضًا(to) a land یَّخْلُso will be free لَكُمْfor you وَجْهُ(the) face اَبِیْكُمْ(of) your father وَتَكُوْنُوْاand you will be مِنْafter that بَعْدِهٖafter that قَوْمًاa people صٰلِحِیْنَrighteous ۟(9) قَالَSaid قَآىِٕلٌa speaker مِّنْهُمْamong them لَا(Do) not تَقْتُلُوْاkill یُوْسُفَYusuf وَاَلْقُوْهُbut throw him فِیْin غَیٰبَتِthe bottom الْجُبِّ(of) the well یَلْتَقِطْهُwill pick him بَعْضُsome السَّیَّارَةِ[the] caravan اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are فٰعِلِیْنَdoing ۟(10) قَالُوْاThey said یٰۤاَبَانَاO our father مَاWhy لَكَ(do) you لَاnot تَاْمَنَّاtrust us عَلٰیwith یُوْسُفَYusuf وَاِنَّاwhile indeed, we لَهٗ(are) for him لَنٰصِحُوْنَsurely well-wishers ۟(11) اَرْسِلْهُSend him مَعَنَاwith us غَدًاtomorrow یَّرْتَعْ(to) enjoy وَیَلْعَبْand play وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, we لَهٗfor him لَحٰفِظُوْنَ(will) surely (be) guardians ۟(12) قَالَHe said اِنِّیْIndeed, [I] لَیَحْزُنُنِیْۤit surely saddens me اَنْthat تَذْهَبُوْاyou should take him بِهٖyou should take him وَاَخَافُand I fear اَنْthat یَّاْكُلَهُwould eat him الذِّئْبُa wolf وَاَنْتُمْwhile you عَنْهُof him غٰفِلُوْنَ(are) unaware ۟(13) قَالُوْاThey said لَىِٕنْIf اَكَلَهُeats him الذِّئْبُthe wolf وَنَحْنُwhile we عُصْبَةٌ(are) a group اِنَّاۤindeed, we اِذًاthen لَّخٰسِرُوْنَsurely (would be) losers ۟(14) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 236 - Juz 12 فَلَمَّاSo when ذَهَبُوْاthey took him بِهٖthey took him وَاَجْمَعُوْۤاand agreed اَنْthat یَّجْعَلُوْهُthey put him فِیْin غَیٰبَتِ(the) bottom الْجُبِّ ۚ(of) the well وَاَوْحَیْنَاۤBut We inspired اِلَیْهِto him لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُمْSurely, you will inform them بِاَمْرِهِمْabout this affair هٰذَاabout this affair وَهُمْwhile they لَا(do) not یَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟(15) وَجَآءُوْۤAnd they came اَبَاهُمْ(to) their father عِشَآءًearly at night یَّبْكُوْنَweeping ۟ؕ(16) قَالُوْاThey said یٰۤاَبَانَاۤO our father اِنَّاIndeed, we ذَهَبْنَا[we] went نَسْتَبِقُracing each other وَتَرَكْنَاand we left یُوْسُفَYusuf عِنْدَwith مَتَاعِنَاour possessions فَاَكَلَهُand ate him الذِّئْبُ ۚthe wolf وَمَاۤBut not اَنْتَyou بِمُؤْمِنٍ(will) believe لَّنَاus وَلَوْeven if كُنَّاwe are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(17) وَجَآءُوْAnd they brought عَلٰیupon قَمِیْصِهٖhis shirt بِدَمٍwith false blood كَذِبٍ ؕwith false blood قَالَHe said بَلْNay سَوَّلَتْhas enticed you لَكُمْhas enticed you اَنْفُسُكُمْyour souls اَمْرًا ؕ(to) a matter فَصَبْرٌso patience جَمِیْلٌ ؕ(is) beautiful وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah الْمُسْتَعَانُ(is) the One sought for help عَلٰیagainst مَاwhat تَصِفُوْنَyou describe ۟(18) وَجَآءَتْAnd there came سَیَّارَةٌa caravan فَاَرْسَلُوْاand they sent وَارِدَهُمْtheir water drawer فَاَدْلٰیthen he let down دَلْوَهٗ ؕhis bucket قَالَHe said یٰبُشْرٰیO good news هٰذَاThis غُلٰمٌ ؕ(is) a boy وَاَسَرُّوْهُAnd they hid him بِضَاعَةً ؕ(as) a merchandise وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِمَاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do ۟(19) وَشَرَوْهُAnd they sold him بِثَمَنٍfor a price بَخْسٍvery low دَرَاهِمَdirhams مَعْدُوْدَةٍ ۚfew وَكَانُوْاand they were فِیْهِabout him مِنَof الزَّاهِدِیْنَthose keen to give up ۟۠(20) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیthe one who اشْتَرٰىهُbought him مِنْof مِّصْرَEgypt لِامْرَاَتِهٖۤto his wife اَكْرِمِیْMake comfortable مَثْوٰىهُhis stay عَسٰۤیPerhaps اَنْthat یَّنْفَعَنَاۤ(he) will benefit us اَوْor نَتَّخِذَهٗwe will take him وَلَدًا ؕ(as) a son وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus مَكَّنَّاWe established لِیُوْسُفَYusuf فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؗthe land وَلِنُعَلِّمَهٗthat We might teach him مِنْ(the) interpretation of تَاْوِیْلِ(the) interpretation of الْاَحَادِیْثِ ؕthe events وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَالِبٌ(is) Predominant عَلٰۤیover اَمْرِهٖHis affairs وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(21) وَلَمَّاAnd when بَلَغَhe reached اَشُدَّهٗۤhis maturity اٰتَیْنٰهُWe gave him حُكْمًاwisdom وَّعِلْمًا ؕand knowledge وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نَجْزِیWe reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(22) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 237 - Juz 12 وَرَاوَدَتْهُAnd sought to seduce him الَّتِیْshe who هُوَhe (was) فِیْin بَیْتِهَاher house عَنْfrom نَّفْسِهٖhis self وَغَلَّقَتِAnd she closed الْاَبْوَابَthe doors وَقَالَتْand she said هَیْتَCome on لَكَ ؕyou قَالَHe said مَعَاذَI seek refuge in Allah اللّٰهِI seek refuge in Allah اِنَّهٗIndeed, he رَبِّیْۤ(is) my lord اَحْسَنَ(who has) made good مَثْوَایَ ؕmy stay اِنَّهٗIndeed لَاnot یُفْلِحُwill succeed الظّٰلِمُوْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(23) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly هَمَّتْshe did desire بِهٖ ۚhim وَهَمَّand he would have desired بِهَاher لَوْلَاۤif not اَنْthat رَّاٰhe saw بُرْهَانَthe proof رَبِّهٖ ؕ(of) his Lord كَذٰلِكَThus لِنَصْرِفَthat We might avert عَنْهُfrom him السُّوْٓءَthe evil وَالْفَحْشَآءَ ؕand the immorality اِنَّهٗIndeed, he مِنْ(was) of عِبَادِنَاOur slaves الْمُخْلَصِیْنَthe sincere ۟(24) وَاسْتَبَقَاAnd they both raced الْبَابَ(to) the door وَقَدَّتْand she tore قَمِیْصَهٗhis shirt مِنْfrom دُبُرٍthe back وَّاَلْفَیَاand they both found سَیِّدَهَاher husband لَدَاat الْبَابِ ؕthe door قَالَتْShe said مَاWhat جَزَآءُ(is) the recompense مَنْ(of one) who اَرَادَintended بِاَهْلِكَfor your wife سُوْٓءًاevil اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat یُّسْجَنَhe be imprisoned اَوْor عَذَابٌa punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(25) قَالَHe said هِیَShe رَاوَدَتْنِیْsought to seduce me عَنْabout نَّفْسِیْmyself وَشَهِدَAnd testified شَاهِدٌa witness مِّنْof اَهْلِهَا ۚher family اِنْIf كَانَ[is] قَمِیْصُهٗhis shirt قُدَّ(is) torn مِنْfrom قُبُلٍthe front فَصَدَقَتْthen she has spoken the truth وَهُوَand he مِنَ(is) of الْكٰذِبِیْنَthe liars ۟(26) وَاِنْBut if كَانَ[is] قَمِیْصُهٗhis shirt قُدَّ(is) torn مِنْfrom دُبُرٍ(the) back فَكَذَبَتْthen she has lied وَهُوَand he مِنَ(is) of الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(27) فَلَمَّاSo when رَاٰhe saw قَمِیْصَهٗhis shirt قُدَّtorn مِنْfrom دُبُرٍ(the) back قَالَhe said اِنَّهٗIndeed, it مِنْ(is) of كَیْدِكُنَّ ؕyour plot اِنَّIndeed كَیْدَكُنَّyour plot عَظِیْمٌ(is) great ۟(28) یُوْسُفُYusuf اَعْرِضْturn away عَنْfrom هٰذَا ٚthis وَاسْتَغْفِرِیْAnd ask forgiveness لِذَنْۢبِكِ ۖۚfor your sin اِنَّكِIndeed, you كُنْتِare مِنَof الْخٰطِـِٕیْنَthe sinful ۟۠(29) وَقَالَAnd said نِسْوَةٌwomen فِیin الْمَدِیْنَةِthe city امْرَاَتُThe wife of الْعَزِیْزِAziz تُرَاوِدُ(is) seeking to seduce فَتٰىهَاher slave boy عَنْabout نَّفْسِهٖ ۚhimself قَدْindeed شَغَفَهَاhe has impassioned her حُبًّا ؕ(with) love اِنَّاIndeed, we لَنَرٰىهَا[we] surely see her فِیْin ضَلٰلٍan error مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(30) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 238 - Juz 12 فَلَمَّاSo when سَمِعَتْshe heard بِمَكْرِهِنَّof their scheming اَرْسَلَتْshe sent اِلَیْهِنَّfor them وَاَعْتَدَتْand she prepared لَهُنَّfor them مُتَّكَاًa banquet وَّاٰتَتْand she gave كُلَّeach وَاحِدَةٍone مِّنْهُنَّof them سِكِّیْنًاa knife وَّقَالَتِand she said اخْرُجْCome out عَلَیْهِنَّ ۚbefore them فَلَمَّاThen when رَاَیْنَهٗۤthey saw him اَكْبَرْنَهٗthey greatly admired him وَقَطَّعْنَand cut اَیْدِیَهُنَّtheir hands وَقُلْنَthey said حَاشَForbid لِلّٰهِAllah مَاnot هٰذَا(is) this بَشَرًا ؕa man اِنْnot هٰذَاۤ(is) this اِلَّاbut مَلَكٌan angel كَرِیْمٌnoble ۟(31) قَالَتْShe said فَذٰلِكُنَّThat الَّذِیْ(is) the one لُمْتُنَّنِیْyou blamed me فِیْهِ ؕabout him وَلَقَدْAnd certainly رَاوَدْتُّهٗI sought to seduce him عَنْ[from] نَّفْسِهٖ[himself] فَاسْتَعْصَمَ ؕbut he saved himself وَلَىِٕنْand if لَّمْnot یَفْعَلْhe does مَاۤwhat اٰمُرُهٗI order him لَیُسْجَنَنَّsurely, he will be imprisoned وَلَیَكُوْنًاand certainly will be مِّنَof الصّٰغِرِیْنَthose who are disgraced ۟(32) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord السِّجْنُthe prison اَحَبُّ(is) dearer اِلَیَّto me مِمَّاthan what یَدْعُوْنَنِیْۤthey invite me اِلَیْهِ ۚto it وَاِلَّاAnd unless تَصْرِفْYou turn away عَنِّیْfrom me كَیْدَهُنَّtheir plot اَصْبُI might incline اِلَیْهِنَّtowards them وَاَكُنْand [I] be مِّنَof الْجٰهِلِیْنَthe ignorant ۟(33) فَاسْتَجَابَSo responded لَهٗto him رَبُّهٗhis Lord فَصَرَفَand turned away عَنْهُfrom him كَیْدَهُنَّ ؕtheir plot اِنَّهٗIndeed, [He] هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُAll-Knower ۟(34) ثُمَّThen بَدَا(it) appeared لَهُمْto them مِّنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] رَاَوُاthey had seen الْاٰیٰتِthe signs لَیَسْجُنُنَّهٗsurely they should imprison him حَتّٰیuntil حِیْنٍa time ۟۠(35) وَدَخَلَAnd entered مَعَهُwith him السِّجْنَ(in) the prison فَتَیٰنِ ؕtwo young men قَالَSaid اَحَدُهُمَاۤone of them اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَرٰىنِیْۤ[I] see myself اَعْصِرُpressing خَمْرًا ۚwine وَقَالَAnd said الْاٰخَرُthe other اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَرٰىنِیْۤ[I] see myself اَحْمِلُ[I am] carrying فَوْقَover رَاْسِیْmy head خُبْزًاbread تَاْكُلُ(were) eating الطَّیْرُthe birds مِنْهُ ؕfrom it نَبِّئْنَاInform us بِتَاْوِیْلِهٖ ۚof its interpretation اِنَّاindeed, we نَرٰىكَ[we] see you مِنَof الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(36) قَالَHe said لَاNot یَاْتِیْكُمَا(will) come to both of you طَعَامٌfood تُرْزَقٰنِهٖۤyou are provided with اِلَّاbut نَبَّاْتُكُمَاI will inform both of you بِتَاْوِیْلِهٖof its interpretation قَبْلَbefore اَنْ[that] یَّاْتِیَكُمَا ؕ[it] comes to both of you ذٰلِكُمَاThat مِمَّا(is) of what عَلَّمَنِیْhas taught me رَبِّیْ ؕmy Lord اِنِّیْIndeed, I تَرَكْتُ[I] abandon مِلَّةَ(the) religion قَوْمٍ(of) a people لَّاnot یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَهُمْand they بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter هُمْ[they] كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(37) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 239 - Juz 12 وَاتَّبَعْتُAnd I follow مِلَّةَ(the) religion اٰبَآءِیْۤ(of) my forefathers اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim وَاِسْحٰقَand Isaac وَیَعْقُوْبَ ؕand Yaqub مَاNot كَانَwas لَنَاۤfor us اَنْthat نُّشْرِكَwe associate بِاللّٰهِwith Allah مِنْany شَیْءٍ ؕthing ذٰلِكَThat مِنْ(is) from فَضْلِ(the) Grace اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَیْنَاupon us وَعَلَیand upon النَّاسِthe mankind وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the men لَا(are) not یَشْكُرُوْنَgrateful ۟(38) یٰصَاحِبَیِO my two companions السِّجْنِ(of) the prison ءَاَرْبَابٌAre lords مُّتَفَرِّقُوْنَseparate خَیْرٌbetter اَمِor اللّٰهُAllah الْوَاحِدُthe One الْقَهَّارُthe Irresistible ۟ؕ(39) مَاNot تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اِلَّاۤbut اَسْمَآءًnames سَمَّیْتُمُوْهَاۤwhich you have named them اَنْتُمْyou وَاٰبَآؤُكُمْand your forefathers مَّاۤnot اَنْزَلَ(has) sent down اللّٰهُAllah بِهَاfor it مِنْany سُلْطٰنٍ ؕauthority اِنِNot الْحُكْمُ(is) the command اِلَّاbut لِلّٰهِ ؕfor Allah اَمَرَHe has commanded اَلَّاthat not تَعْبُدُوْۤاyou worship اِلَّاۤbut اِیَّاهُ ؕHim Alone ذٰلِكَThat الدِّیْنُ(is) the religion الْقَیِّمُthe right وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ[the] men لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(40) یٰصَاحِبَیِO my two companions السِّجْنِ(of) the prison اَمَّاۤAs for اَحَدُكُمَاone of you فَیَسْقِیْhe will give drink رَبَّهٗ(to) his master خَمْرًا ۚwine وَاَمَّاand as for الْاٰخَرُthe other فَیُصْلَبُhe will be crucified فَتَاْكُلُand will eat الطَّیْرُthe birds مِنْfrom رَّاْسِهٖ ؕhis head قُضِیَHas been decreed الْاَمْرُthe matter الَّذِیْabout which فِیْهِabout which تَسْتَفْتِیٰنِyou both inquire ۟ؕ(41) وَقَالَAnd he said لِلَّذِیْto the one whom ظَنَّhe thought اَنَّهٗthat he نَاجٍ(would be) saved مِّنْهُمَاof both of them اذْكُرْنِیْMention me عِنْدَto رَبِّكَ ؗyour master فَاَنْسٰىهُBut made him forget الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan ذِكْرَ(the) mention رَبِّهٖ(to) his master فَلَبِثَso he remained فِیin السِّجْنِthe prison بِضْعَseveral سِنِیْنَyears ۟ؕ۠(42) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلِكُthe king اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَرٰی[I] have seen سَبْعَseven بَقَرٰتٍcows سِمَانٍfat یَّاْكُلُهُنَّeating them سَبْعٌseven عِجَافٌlean ones وَّسَبْعَand seven سُنْۢبُلٰتٍears (of corn) خُضْرٍgreen وَّاُخَرَand others یٰبِسٰتٍ ؕdry یٰۤاَیُّهَاO الْمَلَاُchiefs اَفْتُوْنِیْExplain to me فِیْabout رُءْیَایَmy vision اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou can لِلرُّءْیَاof visions تَعْبُرُوْنَinterpret ۟(43) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 240 - Juz 12 قَالُوْۤاThey said اَضْغَاثُConfused اَحْلَامٍ ۚdreams وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِتَاْوِیْلِ(are) in the interpretation الْاَحْلَامِ(of) the dreams بِعٰلِمِیْنَlearned ۟(44) وَقَالَBut said الَّذِیْthe one who نَجَاwas saved مِنْهُمَاof the two وَادَّكَرَand remembered بَعْدَafter اُمَّةٍa period اَنَاI اُنَبِّئُكُمْ[I] will inform you بِتَاْوِیْلِهٖof its interpretation فَاَرْسِلُوْنِso send me forth ۟(45) یُوْسُفُYusuf اَیُّهَاO الصِّدِّیْقُthe truthful one اَفْتِنَاExplain to us فِیْabout سَبْعِ(the) seven بَقَرٰتٍcows سِمَانٍfat یَّاْكُلُهُنَّeating them سَبْعٌseven عِجَافٌlean ones وَّسَبْعِand seven سُنْۢبُلٰتٍears (of corn) خُضْرٍgreen وَّاُخَرَand other یٰبِسٰتٍ ۙdry لَّعَلِّیْۤthat I may اَرْجِعُreturn اِلَیto النَّاسِthe people لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(46) قَالَHe said تَزْرَعُوْنَYou will sow سَبْعَ(for) seven سِنِیْنَyears دَاَبًا ۚas usual فَمَاand that which حَصَدْتُّمْyou reap فَذَرُوْهُso leave it فِیْin سُنْۢبُلِهٖۤits ears اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa little مِّمَّاfrom which تَاْكُلُوْنَyou (will) eat ۟(47) ثُمَّThen یَاْتِیْwill come مِنْafter بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat سَبْعٌseven شِدَادٌhard (years) یَّاْكُلْنَ(which will) consume مَاwhat قَدَّمْتُمْyou advanced لَهُنَّfor them اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلًاa little مِّمَّاof what تُحْصِنُوْنَyou (will) store ۟(48) ثُمَّThen یَاْتِیْwill come مِنْafter بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat عَامٌa year فِیْهِin it یُغَاثُwill be given abundant rain النَّاسُthe people وَفِیْهِand in it یَعْصِرُوْنَthey will press ۟۠(49) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلِكُthe king ائْتُوْنِیْBring him to me بِهٖ ۚBring him to me فَلَمَّاBut when جَآءَهُcame to him الرَّسُوْلُthe messenger قَالَhe said ارْجِعْReturn اِلٰیto رَبِّكَyour lord فَسْـَٔلْهُand ask him مَاwhat بَالُ(is the) case النِّسْوَةِ(of) the women الّٰتِیْwho قَطَّعْنَcut اَیْدِیَهُنَّ ؕtheir hands اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord بِكَیْدِهِنَّof their plot عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟(50) قَالَHe said مَاWhat خَطْبُكُنَّ(was) your affair اِذْwhen رَاوَدْتُّنَّyou sought to seduce یُوْسُفَYusuf عَنْfrom نَّفْسِهٖ ؕhimself قُلْنَThey said حَاشَAllah forbid لِلّٰهِAllah forbid مَاNot عَلِمْنَاwe know عَلَیْهِabout him مِنْany سُوْٓءٍ ؕevil قَالَتِSaid امْرَاَتُ(the) wife الْعَزِیْزِ(of) Aziz الْـٰٔنَNow حَصْحَصَ(is) manifest الْحَقُّ ؗthe truth اَنَاI رَاوَدْتُّهٗsought to seduce him عَنْfrom نَّفْسِهٖhimself وَاِنَّهٗand indeed, he لَمِنَ(is) surely of الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(51) ذٰلِكَThat لِیَعْلَمَhe may know اَنِّیْthat I لَمْnot اَخُنْهُ[I] betray him بِالْغَیْبِin secret وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیْguide كَیْدَ(the) plan الْخَآىِٕنِیْنَ(of) the betrayers ۟(52) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 241 - Juz 12 وَمَاۤAnd not اُبَرِّئُI absolve نَفْسِیْ ۚmyself اِنَّIndeed النَّفْسَthe soul لَاَمَّارَةٌ(is) a certain enjoiner بِالسُّوْٓءِof evil اِلَّاunless مَا[that] رَحِمَbestows Mercy رَبِّیْ ؕmy Lord اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(53) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلِكُthe king ائْتُوْنِیْBring him to me بِهٖۤBring him to me اَسْتَخْلِصْهُI will select him لِنَفْسِیْ ۚfor myself فَلَمَّاThen when كَلَّمَهٗhe spoke to him قَالَhe said اِنَّكَIndeed, you الْیَوْمَ(are) today لَدَیْنَاwith us مَكِیْنٌfirmly established اَمِیْنٌ(and) trusted ۟(54) قَالَHe said اجْعَلْنِیْAppoint me عَلٰیover خَزَآىِٕنِ(the) treasuries الْاَرْضِ ۚ(of) the land اِنِّیْIndeed, I حَفِیْظٌ(will be) a guardian عَلِیْمٌknowing ۟(55) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus مَكَّنَّاWe established لِیُوْسُفَ[to] Yusuf فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۚthe land یَتَبَوَّاُto settle مِنْهَاtherein حَیْثُwhere ever یَشَآءُ ؕhe willed نُصِیْبُWe bestow بِرَحْمَتِنَاOur Mercy مَنْ(on) whom نَّشَآءُWe will وَلَاAnd not نُضِیْعُWe let go waste اَجْرَ(the) reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟(56) وَلَاَجْرُAnd surely (the) reward الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter خَیْرٌ(is) better لِّلَّذِیْنَfor those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَكَانُوْاand are یَتَّقُوْنَGod conscious ۟۠(57) وَجَآءَAnd came اِخْوَةُ(the) brothers یُوْسُفَ(of) Yusuf فَدَخَلُوْاand they entered عَلَیْهِupon him فَعَرَفَهُمْand he recognized them وَهُمْbut they لَهٗknew him not مُنْكِرُوْنَknew him not ۟(58) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَهَّزَهُمْhe had furnished them بِجَهَازِهِمْwith their supplies قَالَhe said ائْتُوْنِیْBring to me بِاَخٍa brother لَّكُمْof yours مِّنْfrom اَبِیْكُمْ ۚyour father اَلَاDo not تَرَوْنَyou see اَنِّیْۤthat I اُوْفِی[I] give full الْكَیْلَ[the] measure وَاَنَاand that I am خَیْرُ(the) best الْمُنْزِلِیْنَ(of) the hosts ۟(59) فَاِنْBut if لَّمْnot تَاْتُوْنِیْyou bring him to me بِهٖyou bring him to me فَلَاthen (there will be) no كَیْلَmeasure لَكُمْfor you عِنْدِیْfrom me وَلَاand not تَقْرَبُوْنِyou will come near me ۟(60) قَالُوْاThey said سَنُرَاوِدُWe will try to get permission عَنْهُfor him اَبَاهُ(from) his father وَاِنَّاand indeed we لَفٰعِلُوْنَsurely will do ۟(61) وَقَالَAnd he said لِفِتْیٰنِهِto his servants اجْعَلُوْاPut بِضَاعَتَهُمْtheir merchandise فِیْin رِحَالِهِمْtheir saddlebags لَعَلَّهُمْso that they یَعْرِفُوْنَهَاۤmay recognize it اِذَاwhen انْقَلَبُوْۤاthey go back اِلٰۤیto اَهْلِهِمْtheir people لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(62) فَلَمَّاSo when رَجَعُوْۤاthey returned اِلٰۤیto اَبِیْهِمْtheir father قَالُوْاthey said یٰۤاَبَانَاO our father مُنِعَHas been denied مِنَّاto us الْكَیْلُthe measure فَاَرْسِلْso send مَعَنَاۤwith us اَخَانَاour brother نَكْتَلْ(that) we will get measure وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, we لَهٗfor him لَحٰفِظُوْنَ(will) surely (be) guardians ۟(63) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 242 - Juz 13 قَالَHe said هَلْShould اٰمَنُكُمْI entrust you عَلَیْهِwith him اِلَّاexcept كَمَاۤas اَمِنْتُكُمْI entrusted you عَلٰۤیwith اَخِیْهِhis brother مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore فَاللّٰهُBut Allah خَیْرٌ(is) the best حٰفِظًا ۪Guardian وَّهُوَand He اَرْحَمُ(is the) Most Merciful الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) the merciful ۟(64) وَلَمَّاAnd when فَتَحُوْاthey opened مَتَاعَهُمْtheir baggage وَجَدُوْاthey found بِضَاعَتَهُمْtheir merchandise رُدَّتْreturned اِلَیْهِمْ ؕto them قَالُوْاThey said یٰۤاَبَانَاO our father مَاWhat نَبْغِیْ ؕ(could) we desire هٰذِهٖThis بِضَاعَتُنَا(is) our merchandise رُدَّتْreturned اِلَیْنَا ۚto us وَنَمِیْرُAnd we will get provision اَهْلَنَا(for) our family وَنَحْفَظُand we will protect اَخَانَاour brother وَنَزْدَادُand get an increase كَیْلَmeasure بَعِیْرٍ ؕ(of) a camel's (load) ذٰلِكَThat كَیْلٌ(is) a measurement یَّسِیْرٌeasy ۟(65) قَالَHe said لَنْNever اُرْسِلَهٗwill I send him مَعَكُمْwith you حَتّٰیuntil تُؤْتُوْنِyou give to me مَوْثِقًاa promise مِّنَby اللّٰهِAllah لَتَاْتُنَّنِیْthat surely you will bring him to me بِهٖۤthat surely you will bring him to me اِلَّاۤunless اَنْthat یُّحَاطَyou are surrounded بِكُمْ ۚyou are surrounded فَلَمَّاۤAnd when اٰتَوْهُthey had given him مَوْثِقَهُمْtheir promise قَالَhe said اللّٰهُAllah عَلٰیover مَاwhat نَقُوْلُwe say وَكِیْلٌ(is) a Guardian ۟(66) وَقَالَAnd he said یٰبَنِیَّO my sons لَا(Do) not تَدْخُلُوْاenter مِنْfrom بَابٍone gate وَّاحِدٍone gate وَّادْخُلُوْاbut enter مِنْfrom اَبْوَابٍgates مُّتَفَرِّقَةٍ ؕdifferent وَمَاۤAnd not اُغْنِیْI can avail عَنْكُمْyou مِّنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany شَیْءٍ ؕthing اِنِNot الْحُكْمُ(is) the decision اِلَّاexcept لِلّٰهِ ؕwith Allah عَلَیْهِupon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ ۚI put my trust وَعَلَیْهِand upon Him فَلْیَتَوَكَّلِlet put (their) trust الْمُتَوَكِّلُوْنَthe ones who put trust ۟(67) وَلَمَّاAnd when دَخَلُوْاthey entered مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere اَمَرَهُمْordered them اَبُوْهُمْ ؕtheir father مَاnot كَانَit یُغْنِیْavail(ed) عَنْهُمْthem مِّنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany شَیْءٍthing اِلَّاbut حَاجَةً(it was) a need فِیْof نَفْسِYaqub's soul یَعْقُوْبَYaqub's soul قَضٰىهَا ؕwhich he carried out وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, he لَذُوْ(was) a possessor عِلْمٍ(of) knowledge لِّمَاbecause عَلَّمْنٰهُWe had taught him وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟۠(68) وَلَمَّاAnd when دَخَلُوْاthey entered عَلٰیupon یُوْسُفَYusuf اٰوٰۤیhe took اِلَیْهِto himself اَخَاهُhis brother قَالَHe said اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَنَا[I] am اَخُوْكَyour brother فَلَاso (do) not تَبْتَىِٕسْgrieve بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(69) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 243 - Juz 13 فَلَمَّاSo when جَهَّزَهُمْhe had furnished them بِجَهَازِهِمْwith their supplies جَعَلَhe put السِّقَایَةَthe drinking cup فِیْin رَحْلِthe bag اَخِیْهِ(of) his brother ثُمَّThen اَذَّنَcalled out مُؤَذِّنٌan announcer اَیَّتُهَاO you الْعِیْرُ(in) the caravan اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you لَسٰرِقُوْنَsurely (are) thieves ۟(70) قَالُوْاThey said وَاَقْبَلُوْاturning towards عَلَیْهِمْthem مَّاذَاWhat (is it) تَفْقِدُوْنَyou miss ۟(71) قَالُوْاThey said نَفْقِدُWe are missing صُوَاعَ(the) cup الْمَلِكِ(of) the king وَلِمَنْAnd for (one) who جَآءَbrings بِهٖit حِمْلُ(is) a load بَعِیْرٍ(of) a camel وَّاَنَاand I بِهٖfor it زَعِیْمٌ(is) responsible ۟(72) قَالُوْاThey said تَاللّٰهِBy Allah لَقَدْcertainly عَلِمْتُمْyou know مَّاnot جِئْنَاwe came لِنُفْسِدَthat we cause corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land وَمَاand not كُنَّاwe are سٰرِقِیْنَthieves ۟(73) قَالُوْاThey said فَمَاThen what جَزَآؤُهٗۤ(will be the) recompense (of) it اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are كٰذِبِیْنَliars ۟(74) قَالُوْاThey said جَزَآؤُهٗIts recompense مَنْ(is that one) who وُّجِدَit is found فِیْin رَحْلِهٖhis bag فَهُوَthen he جَزَآؤُهٗ ؕ(will be) his recompense كَذٰلِكَThus نَجْزِی(do) we recompense الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(75) فَبَدَاَSo he began بِاَوْعِیَتِهِمْwith their bags قَبْلَbefore وِعَآءِ(the) bag اَخِیْهِ(of) his brother ثُمَّthen اسْتَخْرَجَهَاhe brought it out مِنْfrom وِّعَآءِ(the) bag اَخِیْهِ ؕ(of) his brother كَذٰلِكَThus كِدْنَا(did) We plan لِیُوْسُفَ ؕfor Yusuf مَاHe could not كَانَHe could not لِیَاْخُذَtake اَخَاهُhis brother فِیْby دِیْنِthe law الْمَلِكِ(of) the king اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat یَّشَآءَAllah willed اللّٰهُ ؕAllah willed نَرْفَعُWe raise دَرَجٰتٍ(in) degrees مَّنْwhom نَّشَآءُ ؕWe will وَفَوْقَbut over كُلِّevery ذِیْpossessor عِلْمٍ(of) knowledge عَلِیْمٌ(is) the All-Knower ۟(76) قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنْIf یَّسْرِقْhe steals فَقَدْthen verily سَرَقَstole اَخٌa brother لَّهٗof his مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ۚbefore فَاَسَرَّهَاBut Yusuf kept it secret یُوْسُفُBut Yusuf kept it secret فِیْwithin نَفْسِهٖhimself وَلَمْand (did) not یُبْدِهَاreveal it لَهُمْ ۚto them قَالَHe said اَنْتُمْYou شَرٌّ(are the) worse مَّكَانًا ۚ(in) position وَاللّٰهُand Allah اَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاof what تَصِفُوْنَyou describe ۟(77) قَالُوْاThey said یٰۤاَیُّهَاO الْعَزِیْزُAziz اِنَّIndeed لَهٗۤhe has اَبًاa father شَیْخًاold كَبِیْرًا[great] فَخُذْso take اَحَدَنَاone of us مَكَانَهٗ ۚ(in) his place اِنَّاIndeed, we نَرٰىكَ[we] see you مِنَof الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(78) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 244 - Juz 13 قَالَHe said مَعَاذَAllah forbid اللّٰهِAllah forbid اَنْthat نَّاْخُذَwe take اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(one) who وَّجَدْنَاwe found مَتَاعَنَاour possession عِنْدَهٗۤ ۙwith him اِنَّاۤIndeed, we اِذًاthen لَّظٰلِمُوْنَsurely (would be) wrongdoers ۟۠(79) فَلَمَّاSo when اسْتَیْـَٔسُوْاthey despaired مِنْهُof him خَلَصُوْاthey secluded themselves نَجِیًّا ؕ(in) private consultation قَالَSaid كَبِیْرُهُمْthe eldest among them اَلَمْDo not تَعْلَمُوْۤاyou know اَنَّthat اَبَاكُمْyour father قَدْhas taken اَخَذَhas taken عَلَیْكُمْupon you مَّوْثِقًاa promise مِّنَby اللّٰهِAllah وَمِنْand before قَبْلُand before مَاthat فَرَّطْتُّمْyou failed فِیْconcerning یُوْسُفَ ۚYusuf فَلَنْSo never اَبْرَحَwill I leave الْاَرْضَthe land حَتّٰیuntil یَاْذَنَpermits لِیْۤme اَبِیْۤmy father اَوْor یَحْكُمَAllah decides اللّٰهُAllah decides لِیْ ۚfor me وَهُوَand He خَیْرُ(is) the Best الْحٰكِمِیْنَ(of) the judges ۟(80) اِرْجِعُوْۤاReturn اِلٰۤیto اَبِیْكُمْyour father فَقُوْلُوْاand say یٰۤاَبَانَاۤ'O our father اِنَّIndeed ابْنَكَyour son سَرَقَ ۚhas stolen وَمَاand not شَهِدْنَاۤwe testify اِلَّاexcept بِمَاof what عَلِمْنَاwe knew وَمَاAnd not كُنَّاwe were لِلْغَیْبِof the unseen حٰفِظِیْنَguardians ۟(81) وَسْـَٔلِAnd ask الْقَرْیَةَthe town الَّتِیْwhere كُنَّاwe were فِیْهَا[in it] وَالْعِیْرَand the caravan الَّتِیْۤwhich اَقْبَلْنَاwe returned فِیْهَا ؕ[in it] وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, we لَصٰدِقُوْنَsurely (are) truthful.' ۟(82) قَالَHe said بَلْNay سَوَّلَتْhave enticed لَكُمْyou اَنْفُسُكُمْyour souls اَمْرًا ؕsomething فَصَبْرٌso patience جَمِیْلٌ ؕ(is) beautiful عَسَیPerhaps اللّٰهُAllah اَنْwill bring them to me یَّاْتِیَنِیْwill bring them to me بِهِمْwill bring them to me جَمِیْعًا ؕall اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَHe الْعَلِیْمُ(is) the All-Knower الْحَكِیْمُAll-Wise ۟(83) وَتَوَلّٰیAnd he turned away عَنْهُمْfrom them وَقَالَand said یٰۤاَسَفٰیAlas, my grief عَلٰیover یُوْسُفَYusuf وَابْیَضَّتْAnd became white عَیْنٰهُhis eyes مِنَfrom الْحُزْنِthe grief فَهُوَand he (was) كَظِیْمٌa suppressor ۟(84) قَالُوْاThey said تَاللّٰهِBy Allah تَفْتَؤُاyou will not cease تَذْكُرُremembering یُوْسُفَYusuf حَتّٰیuntil تَكُوْنَyou become حَرَضًاfatally ill اَوْor تَكُوْنَbecome مِنَof الْهٰلِكِیْنَthose who perish ۟(85) قَالَHe said اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَشْكُوْاI complain بَثِّیْ(of) my suffering وَحُزْنِیْۤand my grief اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah وَاَعْلَمُand I know مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(86) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 245 - Juz 13 یٰبَنِیَّO my sons اذْهَبُوْاGo فَتَحَسَّسُوْاand inquire مِنْabout یُّوْسُفَYusuf وَاَخِیْهِand his brother وَلَاand not تَایْـَٔسُوْاdespair مِنْof رَّوْحِ(the) Mercy of Allah اللّٰهِ ؕ(the) Mercy of Allah اِنَّهٗIndeed لَاnone یَایْـَٔسُdespairs مِنْof رَّوْحِ(the) Mercy of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Mercy of Allah اِلَّاexcept الْقَوْمُthe people الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers ۟(87) فَلَمَّاSo when دَخَلُوْاthey entered عَلَیْهِupon him قَالُوْاthey said یٰۤاَیُّهَاO Aziz الْعَزِیْزُO Aziz مَسَّنَاHas touched us وَاَهْلَنَاand our family الضُّرُّthe adversity وَجِئْنَاand we have come بِبِضَاعَةٍwith goods مُّزْجٰىةٍ(of) little value فَاَوْفِbut pay (in) full لَنَاto us الْكَیْلَthe measure وَتَصَدَّقْand be charitable عَلَیْنَا ؕto us اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَجْزِیrewards الْمُتَصَدِّقِیْنَthe charitable ۟(88) قَالَHe said هَلْDo عَلِمْتُمْyou know مَّاwhat فَعَلْتُمْyou did بِیُوْسُفَwith Yusuf وَاَخِیْهِand his brother اِذْwhen اَنْتُمْyou were جٰهِلُوْنَignorant ۟(89) قَالُوْۤاThey said ءَاِنَّكَAre you indeed لَاَنْتَsurely you یُوْسُفُ ؕYusuf قَالَHe said اَنَاI am یُوْسُفُYusuf وَهٰذَاۤand this اَخِیْ ؗ(is) my brother قَدْIndeed مَنَّAllah has been gracious اللّٰهُAllah has been gracious عَلَیْنَا ؕto us اِنَّهٗIndeed, he مَنْwho یَّتَّقِfears Allah وَیَصْبِرْand (is) patient فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُضِیْعُlet go waste اَجْرَ(the) reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟(90) قَالُوْاThey said تَاللّٰهِBy Allah لَقَدْcertainly اٰثَرَكَAllah has preferred you اللّٰهُAllah has preferred you عَلَیْنَاover us وَاِنْand indeed كُنَّاwe have been لَخٰطِـِٕیْنَsinners ۟(91) قَالَHe said لَاNo تَثْرِیْبَblame عَلَیْكُمُupon you الْیَوْمَ ؕtoday یَغْفِرُAllah will forgive اللّٰهُAllah will forgive لَكُمْ ؗyou وَهُوَand He اَرْحَمُ(is) the Most Merciful الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) those who show mercy ۟(92) اِذْهَبُوْاGo بِقَمِیْصِیْwith this shirt of mine هٰذَاwith this shirt of mine فَاَلْقُوْهُand cast it عَلٰیover وَجْهِ(the) face اَبِیْ(of) my father یَاْتِhe will regain sight بَصِیْرًا ۚhe will regain sight وَاْتُوْنِیْAnd bring to me بِاَهْلِكُمْyour family اَجْمَعِیْنَall together ۟۠(93) وَلَمَّاAnd when فَصَلَتِdeparted الْعِیْرُthe caravan قَالَtheir father said اَبُوْهُمْtheir father said اِنِّیْIndeed, I لَاَجِدُ[I] find رِیْحَ(the) smell یُوْسُفَ(of) Yusuf لَوْلَاۤif not اَنْthat تُفَنِّدُوْنِyou think me weakened in mind ۟(94) قَالُوْاThey said تَاللّٰهِBy Allah اِنَّكَindeed, you لَفِیْsurely (are) in ضَلٰلِكَyour error الْقَدِیْمِold ۟(95) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 246 - Juz 13 فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَنْ[that] جَآءَarrived الْبَشِیْرُthe bearer of glad tidings اَلْقٰىهُhe cast it عَلٰیover وَجْهِهٖhis face فَارْتَدَّthen returned (his) sight بَصِیْرًا ۚthen returned (his) sight قَالَHe said اَلَمْDid not اَقُلْI say لَّكُمْ ۙۚto you اِنِّیْۤindeed, I اَعْلَمُ[I] know مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(96) قَالُوْاThey said یٰۤاَبَانَاO our father اسْتَغْفِرْAsk forgiveness لَنَاfor us ذُنُوْبَنَاۤ(of) our sins اِنَّاIndeed, we كُنَّاhave been خٰطِـِٕیْنَsinners ۟(97) قَالَHe said سَوْفَSoon اَسْتَغْفِرُI will ask forgiveness لَكُمْfor you رَبِّیْ ؕ(from) my Lord اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَHe الْغَفُوْرُ(is) the Oft-Forgiving الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(98) فَلَمَّاThen when دَخَلُوْاthey entered عَلٰیupon یُوْسُفَYusuf اٰوٰۤیhe took اِلَیْهِto himself اَبَوَیْهِhis parents وَقَالَand said ادْخُلُوْاEnter مِصْرَEgypt اِنْif شَآءَAllah wills اللّٰهُAllah wills اٰمِنِیْنَsafe ۟ؕ(99) وَرَفَعَAnd he raised اَبَوَیْهِhis parents عَلَیupon الْعَرْشِthe throne وَخَرُّوْاand they fell down لَهٗto him سُجَّدًا ۚprostrate وَقَالَAnd he said یٰۤاَبَتِO my father هٰذَاThis تَاْوِیْلُ(is the) interpretation رُءْیَایَ(of) my dream مِنْ(of) before قَبْلُ ؗ(of) before قَدْVerily جَعَلَهَاhas made it رَبِّیْmy Lord حَقًّا ؕtrue وَقَدْAnd indeed اَحْسَنَHe was good بِیْۤto me اِذْwhen اَخْرَجَنِیْHe took me out مِنَof السِّجْنِthe prison وَجَآءَand brought بِكُمْyou مِّنَfrom الْبَدْوِthe bedouin life مِنْafter بَعْدِafter اَنْ[that] نَّزَغَhad caused discord الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan بَیْنِیْbetween me وَبَیْنَand between اِخْوَتِیْ ؕmy brothers اِنَّIndeed رَبِّیْmy Lord لَطِیْفٌ(is) Most Subtle لِّمَاto what یَشَآءُ ؕHe wills اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَHe الْعَلِیْمُ(is) the All-Knower الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟(100) رَبِّMy Lord قَدْindeed اٰتَیْتَنِیْyou have given me مِنَof الْمُلْكِthe sovereignty وَعَلَّمْتَنِیْand taught me مِنْof تَاْوِیْلِthe interpretation الْاَحَادِیْثِ ۚof the events فَاطِرَCreator السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ۫and the earth اَنْتَYou وَلِیّٖ(are) my Protector فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚand the Hereafter تَوَفَّنِیْCause me to die مُسْلِمًا(as) a Muslim وَّاَلْحِقْنِیْand join me بِالصّٰلِحِیْنَwith the righteous ۟(101) ذٰلِكَThat مِنْ(is) from اَنْۢبَآءِthe news الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen نُوْحِیْهِwhich We reveal اِلَیْكَ ۚto you وَمَاAnd not كُنْتَyou were لَدَیْهِمْwith them اِذْwhen اَجْمَعُوْۤاthey put together اَمْرَهُمْtheir plan وَهُمْwhile they یَمْكُرُوْنَ(were) plotting ۟(102) وَمَاۤAnd not اَكْثَرُmost النَّاسِ(of) the mankind وَلَوْeven though حَرَصْتَyou desire بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(will be) believers ۟(103) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 247 - Juz 13 وَمَاAnd not تَسْـَٔلُهُمْyou ask them عَلَیْهِfor it مِنْany اَجْرٍ ؕreward اِنْNot هُوَ(is) it اِلَّاbut ذِكْرٌa reminder لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَto the worlds ۟۠(104) وَكَاَیِّنْAnd how many مِّنْof اٰیَةٍa Sign فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth یَمُرُّوْنَthey pass عَلَیْهَاover it وَهُمْwhile they عَنْهَا(are) from them مُعْرِضُوْنَthe ones who turn away ۟(105) وَمَاAnd not یُؤْمِنُbelieve اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them بِاللّٰهِin Allah اِلَّاexcept وَهُمْwhile they مُّشْرِكُوْنَassociate partners with Him ۟(106) اَفَاَمِنُوْۤاDo they then feel secure اَنْ(against) that تَاْتِیَهُمْcomes to them غَاشِیَةٌan overwhelming مِّنْ[of] عَذَابِpunishment اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اَوْor تَاْتِیَهُمُcomes to them السَّاعَةُthe Hour بَغْتَةًsuddenly وَّهُمْwhile they لَا(do) not یَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟(107) قُلْSay هٰذِهٖThis سَبِیْلِیْۤ(is) my way اَدْعُوْۤاI invite اِلَیto اللّٰهِ ؔ۫Allah عَلٰیwith بَصِیْرَةٍinsight اَنَاI وَمَنِand whoever اتَّبَعَنِیْ ؕfollows me وَسُبْحٰنَAnd Glory be اللّٰهِ(to) Allah وَمَاۤand not اَنَاI am مِنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟(108) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you اِلَّاbut رِجَالًاmen نُّوْحِیْۤWe revealed اِلَیْهِمْto them مِّنْfrom (among) اَهْلِ(the) people الْقُرٰی ؕ(of) the townships اَفَلَمْSo have not یَسِیْرُوْاthey traveled فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth فَیَنْظُرُوْاand seen كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕ(were) before them وَلَدَارُAnd surely the home الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter خَیْرٌ(is) best لِّلَّذِیْنَfor those who اتَّقَوْا ؕfear Allah اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟(109) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen اسْتَیْـَٔسَgave up hope الرُّسُلُthe Messengers وَظَنُّوْۤاand thought اَنَّهُمْthat they قَدْcertainly كُذِبُوْاwere denied جَآءَهُمْthen came to them نَصْرُنَا ۙOur help فَنُجِّیَand was saved مَنْwhom نَّشَآءُ ؕWe willed وَلَاAnd not یُرَدُّ(can) be repelled بَاْسُنَاOur punishment عَنِfrom الْقَوْمِthe people الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ(who are) criminals ۟(110) لَقَدْVerily كَانَ(there) is فِیْin قَصَصِهِمْtheir stories عِبْرَةٌa lesson لِّاُولِیfor men الْاَلْبَابِ ؕ(of) understanding مَاNot كَانَ(it) is حَدِیْثًاa narration یُّفْتَرٰیinvented وَلٰكِنْbut تَصْدِیْقَa confirmation الَّذِیْ(of that) which بَیْنَ(was) before it یَدَیْهِ(was) before it وَتَفْصِیْلَand a detailed explanation كُلِّ(of) all شَیْءٍthings وَّهُدًیand a guidance وَّرَحْمَةًand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟۠(111) Surah 12. Yusuf - Page 248 - Juz 13 Surah 13. Ar-Rad (The Thunder) بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓمّٓرٰ ۫Alif Laam Mim Ra تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are) the Verses الْكِتٰبِ ؕ(of) the Book وَالَّذِیْۤAnd that which اُنْزِلَhas been revealed اِلَیْكَto you مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord الْحَقُّ(is) the truth وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the mankind لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(1) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who رَفَعَraised السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens بِغَیْرِwithout عَمَدٍpillars تَرَوْنَهَاthat you see ثُمَّthen اسْتَوٰیHe established عَلَیon الْعَرْشِthe Throne وَسَخَّرَand subjected الشَّمْسَthe sun وَالْقَمَرَ ؕand the moon كُلٌّeach یَّجْرِیْrunning لِاَجَلٍfor a term مُّسَمًّی ؕappointed یُدَبِّرُHe arranges الْاَمْرَthe matter یُفَصِّلُHe details الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may بِلِقَآءِin the meeting رَبِّكُمْ(with) your Lord تُوْقِنُوْنَbelieve with certainty ۟(2) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who مَدَّspread الْاَرْضَthe earth وَجَعَلَand placed فِیْهَاin it رَوَاسِیَfirm mountains وَاَنْهٰرًا ؕand rivers وَمِنْand from كُلِّall الثَّمَرٰتِ(of) the fruits جَعَلَHe made فِیْهَاin it زَوْجَیْنِpairs اثْنَیْنِtwo یُغْشِیHe covers الَّیْلَthe night النَّهَارَ ؕ(with) the day اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho ponder ۟(3) وَفِیAnd in الْاَرْضِthe earth قِطَعٌare tracks مُّتَجٰوِرٰتٌneighboring وَّجَنّٰتٌand gardens مِّنْof اَعْنَابٍgrapevines وَّزَرْعٌand crops وَّنَخِیْلٌand date-palms صِنْوَانٌtrees (growing) from a single root وَّغَیْرُand not صِنْوَانٍtrees (growing) from a single root یُّسْقٰیwatered بِمَآءٍwith water وَّاحِدٍ ۫one وَنُفَضِّلُbut We cause to exceed بَعْضَهَاsome of them عَلٰیover بَعْضٍothers فِیin الْاُكُلِ ؕthe fruit اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْقِلُوْنَwho use reason ۟(4) وَاِنْAnd if تَعْجَبْyou (are) astonished فَعَجَبٌthen astonishing قَوْلُهُمْ(is) their saying ءَاِذَاWhen كُنَّاwe are تُرٰبًاdust ءَاِنَّاwill we لَفِیْ(be) indeed, in خَلْقٍa creation جَدِیْدٍ ؕ۬new اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(are) the ones who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved بِرَبِّهِمْ ۚin their Lord وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those الْاَغْلٰلُthe iron chains فِیْۤ(will be) in اَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۚtheir necks وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(5) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 249 - Juz 13 وَیَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you to hasten بِالسَّیِّئَةِthe evil قَبْلَbefore الْحَسَنَةِthe good وَقَدْand verily خَلَتْhas occurred مِنْfrom قَبْلِهِمُbefore them الْمَثُلٰتُ ؕ[the] similar punishments وَاِنَّAnd indeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لَذُوْ(is) full مَغْفِرَةٍ(of) forgiveness لِّلنَّاسِfor mankind عَلٰیfor ظُلْمِهِمْ ۚtheir wrongdoing وَاِنَّand indeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لَشَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِ(in) the penalty ۟(6) وَیَقُوْلُAnd say الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لَوْلَاۤWhy not اُنْزِلَhas been sent down عَلَیْهِto him اٰیَةٌa sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنْتَyou مُنْذِرٌ(are) a warner وَّلِكُلِّand for every قَوْمٍpeople هَادٍ(is) a guide ۟۠(7) اَللّٰهُAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat تَحْمِلُcarries كُلُّevery اُfemale وَمَاand what تَغِیْضُfall short الْاَرْحَامُthe womb وَمَاand what تَزْدَادُ ؕthey exceed وَكُلُّAnd every شَیْءٍthing عِنْدَهٗwith Him بِمِقْدَارٍ(is) in due proportion ۟(8) عٰلِمُKnower الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen وَالشَّهَادَةِand the witnessed الْكَبِیْرُthe Most Great الْمُتَعَالِthe Most High ۟(9) سَوَآءٌ(It is) same (to Him) مِّنْكُمْ[of you] مَّنْ(one) who اَسَرَّconceals الْقَوْلَthe speech وَمَنْor (one) who جَهَرَpublicizes بِهٖit وَمَنْand (one) who هُوَ[he] مُسْتَخْفٍ(is) hidden بِالَّیْلِby night وَسَارِبٌor goes freely بِالنَّهَارِby day ۟(10) لَهٗFor him مُعَقِّبٰتٌ(are) successive (Angels) مِّنْfrom بَیْنِ(before) یَدَیْهِ(him) وَمِنْand from خَلْفِهٖand behind him یَحْفَظُوْنَهٗwho guard him مِنْby اَمْرِ(the) command اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُغَیِّرُchange مَا(the condition) بِقَوْمٍof a people حَتّٰیuntil یُغَیِّرُوْاthey change مَاwhat بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ ؕ(is) in themselves وَاِذَاۤAnd when اَرَادَwills اللّٰهُAllah بِقَوْمٍfor a people سُوْٓءًاmisfortune فَلَاthen (there is) no مَرَدَّturning away لَهٗ ۚof it وَمَاand not لَهُمْfor them مِّنْfrom دُوْنِهٖbesides Him مِنْany وَّالٍprotector ۟(11) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُرِیْكُمُshows you الْبَرْقَthe lightning خَوْفًاa fear وَّطَمَعًاand a hope وَّیُنْشِئُand brings up السَّحَابَthe clouds الثِّقَالَthe heavy ۟ۚ(12) وَیُسَبِّحُAnd glorifies الرَّعْدُthe thunder بِحَمْدِهٖwith his praise وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُand the Angels مِنْfor خِیْفَتِهٖ ۚfear of Him وَیُرْسِلُAnd He sends الصَّوَاعِقَthe thunderbolts فَیُصِیْبُand strikes بِهَاwith it مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَهُمْyet they یُجَادِلُوْنَdispute فِیabout اللّٰهِ ۚAllah وَهُوَAnd He شَدِیْدُ(is) Mighty الْمِحَالِ(in) Strength ۟ؕ(13) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 250 - Juz 13 لَهٗTo Him دَعْوَةُ(is) supplication الْحَقِّ ؕ(of) the truth وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those whom یَدْعُوْنَthey invoke مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him لَاnot یَسْتَجِیْبُوْنَthey respond لَهُمْto them بِشَیْءٍwith a thing اِلَّاexcept كَبَاسِطِlike one who stretches كَفَّیْهِhis hands اِلَیtowards الْمَآءِwater لِیَبْلُغَto reach فَاهُhis mouth وَمَاbut not هُوَit بِبَالِغِهٖ ؕreaches it وَمَاAnd not دُعَآءُ(is) the supplication الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers اِلَّاbut فِیْin ضَلٰلٍerror ۟(14) وَلِلّٰهِAnd to Allah یَسْجُدُprostrates مَنْwhoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth طَوْعًاwillingly وَّكَرْهًاor unwillingly وَّظِلٰلُهُمْand (so do) their shadows بِالْغُدُوِّin the mornings وَالْاٰصَالِand in the afternoons ۟(15) قُلْSay مَنْWho رَّبُّ(is) the Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth قُلِSay اللّٰهُ ؕAllah قُلْSay اَفَاتَّخَذْتُمْHave you then taken مِّنْfrom دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اَوْلِیَآءَprotectors لَاnot یَمْلِكُوْنَthey have power لِاَنْفُسِهِمْfor themselves نَفْعًا(to) benefit وَّلَاand not ضَرًّا ؕ(to) harm قُلْSay هَلْIs یَسْتَوِیequal الْاَعْمٰیthe blind وَالْبَصِیْرُ ۙ۬and the seeing اَمْOr هَلْis تَسْتَوِیequal الظُّلُمٰتُthe darkness[es] وَالنُّوْرُ ۚ۬and the light اَمْOr جَعَلُوْاthey attribute لِلّٰهِto Allah شُرَكَآءَpartners خَلَقُوْاwho created كَخَلْقِهٖlike His creation فَتَشَابَهَso that seemed alike الْخَلْقُthe creation عَلَیْهِمْ ؕto them قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah خَالِقُ(is) the Creator كُلِّof all شَیْءٍthings وَّهُوَand He الْوَاحِدُ(is) the One الْقَهَّارُthe Irresistible ۟(16) اَنْزَلَHe sends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَسَالَتْand flows اَوْدِیَةٌthe valleys بِقَدَرِهَاaccording to their measure فَاحْتَمَلَand carries السَّیْلُthe torrent زَبَدًاa foam رَّابِیًا ؕrising وَمِمَّاAnd from what یُوْقِدُوْنَthey heat عَلَیْهِ[on] it فِیin النَّارِthe fire ابْتِغَآءَin order to make حِلْیَةٍornaments اَوْor مَتَاعٍutensils زَبَدٌa foam مِّثْلُهٗ ؕlike it كَذٰلِكَThus یَضْرِبُsets forth اللّٰهُAllah الْحَقَّthe truth وَالْبَاطِلَ ؕ۬and the falsehood فَاَمَّاThen as for الزَّبَدُthe foam فَیَذْهَبُit passes away جُفَآءً ۚ(as) scum وَاَمَّاand as for مَاwhat یَنْفَعُbenefits النَّاسَthe mankind فَیَمْكُثُremains فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth كَذٰلِكَThus یَضْرِبُAllah sets forth اللّٰهُAllah sets forth الْاَمْثَالَthe examples ۟ؕ(17) لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who اسْتَجَابُوْاresponded لِرَبِّهِمُto their Lord الْحُسْنٰی ؔؕ(is) the bliss وَالَّذِیْنَAnd for those who لَمْ(did) not یَسْتَجِیْبُوْاrespond لَهٗto Him لَوْif اَنَّthat لَهُمْthey had مَّاwhatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًاall وَّمِثْلَهٗand like of it مَعَهٗwith it لَافْتَدَوْاsurely they would offer ransom بِهٖ ؕwith it اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمْfor them سُوْٓءُ(is) a terrible الْحِسَابِ ۙ۬reckoning وَمَاْوٰىهُمْand their abode جَهَنَّمُ ؕ(is) Hell وَبِئْسَand wretched الْمِهَادُ(is) the resting place ۟۠(18) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 251 - Juz 13 اَفَمَنْThen is (he) who یَّعْلَمُknows اَنَّمَاۤthat which اُنْزِلَhas been revealed اِلَیْكَto you مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord الْحَقُّ(is) the truth كَمَنْlike (one) who هُوَ[he] اَعْمٰی ؕ(is) blind اِنَّمَاOnly یَتَذَكَّرُpay heed اُولُواmen الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding ۟ۙ(19) الَّذِیْنَThose who یُوْفُوْنَfulfill بِعَهْدِthe covenant اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand not یَنْقُضُوْنَthey break الْمِیْثَاقَthe contract ۟ۙ(20) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یَصِلُوْنَjoin مَاۤwhat اَمَرَ(has been) commanded اللّٰهُ(by) Allah بِهٖۤ[for it] اَنْto یُّوْصَلَbe joined وَیَخْشَوْنَand fear رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord وَیَخَافُوْنَand are afraid سُوْٓءَ(of) the evil الْحِسَابِthe account ۟ؕ(21) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who صَبَرُوا(are) patient ابْتِغَآءَseeking وَجْهِ(the) Face رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَاَقَامُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاَنْفَقُوْاand spend مِمَّاfrom what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them سِرًّاsecretly وَّعَلَانِیَةًand publicly وَّیَدْرَءُوْنَand they repel بِالْحَسَنَةِwith the good السَّیِّئَةَthe evil اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose لَهُمْfor them عُقْبَی(is) the final attainment الدَّارِ(of) the Home ۟ۙ(22) جَنّٰتُGardens عَدْنٍof Eden یَّدْخُلُوْنَهَاthey will enter them وَمَنْand whoever صَلَحَ(were) righteous مِنْamong اٰبَآىِٕهِمْtheir fathers وَاَزْوَاجِهِمْand their spouses وَذُرِّیّٰتِهِمْand their offsprings وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُAnd the Angels یَدْخُلُوْنَwill enter عَلَیْهِمْupon them مِّنْfrom كُلِّevery بَابٍgate ۟ۚ(23) سَلٰمٌ(Saying), "Peace عَلَیْكُمْ(be) upon you بِمَاfor what صَبَرْتُمْyou patiently endured فَنِعْمَAnd excellent عُقْبَی(is) the final attainment الدَّارِ(of) the Home ۟ؕ(24) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یَنْقُضُوْنَbreak عَهْدَthe covenant اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter مِیْثَاقِهٖcontracting it وَیَقْطَعُوْنَand sever مَاۤwhat اَمَرَ(has been) commanded اللّٰهُ(by) Allah بِهٖۤfor it اَنْto یُّوْصَلَbe joined وَیُفْسِدُوْنَand spread corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۙthe earth اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمُfor them اللَّعْنَةُ(is) the curse وَلَهُمْand for them سُوْٓءُ(is) an evil الدَّارِhome ۟(25) اَللّٰهُAllah یَبْسُطُextends الرِّزْقَthe provision لِمَنْfor whom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَقْدِرُ ؕand restricts وَفَرِحُوْاAnd they rejoice بِالْحَیٰوةِin the life الدُّنْیَا ؕ(of) the world وَمَاand nothing الْحَیٰوةُ(is) the life الدُّنْیَاof the world فِیin (comparison to) الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter اِلَّاexcept مَتَاعٌan enjoyment ۟۠(26) وَیَقُوْلُAnd say الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لَوْلَاۤWhy has not اُنْزِلَbeen sent down عَلَیْهِupon him اٰیَةٌa Sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord قُلْSay اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُضِلُّlets go astray مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَهْدِیْۤand guides اِلَیْهِto Himself مَنْwhoever اَنَابَturns back ۟ۖۚ(27) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَتَطْمَىِٕنُّand find satisfaction قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts بِذِكْرِin the remembrance اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اَلَاNo doubt بِذِكْرِin the remembrance اللّٰهِ(of) Allah تَطْمَىِٕنُّfind satisfaction الْقُلُوْبُthe hearts ۟ؕ(28) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 252 - Juz 13 اَلَّذِیْنَThose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds طُوْبٰیblessedness لَهُمْ(is) for them وَحُسْنُand a beautiful مَاٰبٍplace of return ۟(29) كَذٰلِكَThus اَرْسَلْنٰكَWe have sent you فِیْۤto اُمَّةٍa nation قَدْverily خَلَتْhave passed away مِنْfrom قَبْلِهَاۤbefore it اُمَمٌnations لِّتَتْلُوَاۡso that you might recite عَلَیْهِمُto them الَّذِیْۤwhat اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَهُمْwhile they یَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve بِالرَّحْمٰنِ ؕin the Most Gracious قُلْSay هُوَHe رَبِّیْ(is) my Lord لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHim عَلَیْهِUpon Him تَوَكَّلْتُI put my trust وَاِلَیْهِand to Him مَتَابِ(is) my return ۟(30) وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّthat was قُرْاٰنًاany Quran سُیِّرَتْcould be moved بِهِby it الْجِبَالُthe mountains اَوْor قُطِّعَتْcould be cloven asunder بِهِby it الْاَرْضُthe earth اَوْor كُلِّمَcould be made to speak بِهِby it الْمَوْتٰی ؕthe dead بَلْNay لِّلّٰهِwith Allah الْاَمْرُ(is) the command جَمِیْعًا ؕall اَفَلَمْThen do not یَایْـَٔسِknow الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اَنْthat لَّوْif یَشَآءُhad willed اللّٰهُAllah لَهَدَیsurely, He would have guided النَّاسَall جَمِیْعًا ؕall of the mankind وَلَاAnd not یَزَالُwill cease الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve تُصِیْبُهُمْto strike them بِمَاfor what صَنَعُوْاthey did قَارِعَةٌa disaster اَوْor تَحُلُّit settles قَرِیْبًاclose مِّنْfrom دَارِهِمْtheir homes حَتّٰیuntil یَاْتِیَcomes وَعْدُ(the) promise اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(will) not یُخْلِفُfail الْمِیْعَادَ(in) the Promise ۟۠(31) وَلَقَدِAnd certainly اسْتُهْزِئَwere mocked بِرُسُلٍMessengers مِّنْfrom قَبْلِكَbefore you فَاَمْلَیْتُbut I granted respite لِلَّذِیْنَto those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved ثُمَّthen اَخَذْتُهُمْ ۫I seized them فَكَیْفَand how كَانَwas عِقَابِMy penalty ۟(32) اَفَمَنْIs then He Who هُوَ(He) قَآىِٕمٌ(is) a Maintainer عَلٰیof كُلِّevery نَفْسٍsoul بِمَاfor what كَسَبَتْ ۚit has earned وَجَعَلُوْاYet they ascribe لِلّٰهِto Allah شُرَكَآءَ ؕpartners قُلْSay سَمُّوْهُمْ ؕName them اَمْOr تُنَبِّـُٔوْنَهٗ(do) you inform Him بِمَاof what لَاnot یَعْلَمُHe knows فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth اَمْor بِظَاهِرٍof the apparent مِّنَof الْقَوْلِ ؕthe words بَلْNay زُیِّنَ(is) made fair-seeming لِلَّذِیْنَto those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve مَكْرُهُمْtheir plotting وَصُدُّوْاand they are hindered عَنِfrom السَّبِیْلِ ؕthe Path وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّضْلِلِ(by) Allah اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany هَادٍguide ۟(33) لَهُمْFor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَلَعَذَابُand surely the punishment الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter اَشَقُّ ۚ(is) harder وَمَاAnd not لَهُمْfor them مِّنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّاقٍdefender ۟(34) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 253 - Juz 13 مَثَلُThe example الْجَنَّةِof Paradise الَّتِیْwhich وُعِدَ(is) promised الْمُتَّقُوْنَ ؕ(to) the righteous تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕthe rivers اُكُلُهَاIts food دَآىِٕمٌ(is) everlasting وَّظِلُّهَا ؕand its shade تِلْكَThis عُقْبَی(is the) end الَّذِیْنَof those who اتَّقَوْا ۖۗ(are) righteous وَّعُقْبَیand (the) end الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers النَّارُ(is) the Fire ۟(35) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those (to) whom اٰتَیْنٰهُمُWe have given them الْكِتٰبَthe Book یَفْرَحُوْنَrejoice بِمَاۤat what اُنْزِلَhas been revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَمِنَbut among الْاَحْزَابِthe groups مَنْ(those) who یُّنْكِرُdeny بَعْضَهٗ ؕa part of it قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اُمِرْتُI have been commanded اَنْthat اَعْبُدَI worship اللّٰهَAllah وَلَاۤand not اُشْرِكَI associate partners بِهٖ ؕwith Him اِلَیْهِTo Him اَدْعُوْاI call وَاِلَیْهِand to Him مَاٰبِ(is) my return ۟(36) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe have revealed it حُكْمًا(to be) a judgment of authority عَرَبِیًّا ؕ(in) Arabic وَلَىِٕنِAnd if اتَّبَعْتَyou follow اَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires بَعْدَ مَاafter what جَآءَكَcame to you مِنَof الْعِلْمِ ۙthe knowledge مَاnot لَكَfor you مِنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not وَاقٍdefender ۟۠(37) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent رُسُلًاMessengers مِّنْfrom قَبْلِكَbefore you وَجَعَلْنَاand We made لَهُمْfor them اَزْوَاجًاwives وَّذُرِّیَّةً ؕand offspring وَمَاAnd not كَانَwas لِرَسُوْلٍfor a Messenger اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَhe comes بِاٰیَةٍwith a sign اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِby the leave اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah لِكُلِّFor everything اَجَلٍ(is) a time كِتَابٌprescribed ۟(38) یَمْحُوا(Is) eliminated اللّٰهُ(by) Allah مَاwhat یَشَآءُHe wills وَیُثْبِتُ ۖۚand confirms وَعِنْدَهٗۤand with Him اُمُّ(is) the Mother (of) the Book الْكِتٰبِ(is) the Mother (of) the Book ۟(39) وَاِنْAnd whether مَّا(what) نُرِیَنَّكَWe show you بَعْضَa part الَّذِیْ(of) what نَعِدُهُمْWe have promised them اَوْor نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَWe cause you to die فَاِنَّمَاso only عَلَیْكَon you الْبَلٰغُ(is) the conveyance وَعَلَیْنَاand on Us الْحِسَابُ(is) the reckoning ۟(40) اَوَلَمْDid not یَرَوْاthey see اَنَّاthat We نَاْتِیcome الْاَرْضَ(to) the land نَنْقُصُهَاreducing it مِنْfrom اَطْرَافِهَا ؕits borders وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَحْكُمُjudges لَا(there is) no مُعَقِّبَadjuster لِحُكْمِهٖ ؕ(of) His Judgment وَهُوَAnd He سَرِیْعُ(is) Swift الْحِسَابِ(in) the reckoning ۟(41) وَقَدْAnd certainly مَكَرَplotted الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) from قَبْلِهِمْbefore them فَلِلّٰهِbut for Allah الْمَكْرُ(is) the plot جَمِیْعًا ؕall یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat تَكْسِبُearns كُلُّevery نَفْسٍ ؕsoul وَسَیَعْلَمُand will know الْكُفّٰرُthe disbelievers لِمَنْfor whom عُقْبَی(is) the final الدَّارِthe home ۟(42) Surah 13. Ar-Rad - Page 254 - Juz 13 وَیَقُوْلُAnd say الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve لَسْتَYou are not مُرْسَلًا ؕa Messenger قُلْSay كَفٰیSufficient بِاللّٰهِ(is) Allah شَهِیْدًا(as) a Witness بَیْنِیْbetween me وَبَیْنَكُمْ ۙand between you وَمَنْand whoever عِنْدَهٗ[he] has عِلْمُknowledge الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book ۟۠(43) Surah 13.
