Surah 19. Maryam (Mary) V98 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ كٓهٰیٰعٓصٓKaaf Ha Ya Ain Sad ۟۫ۚ(1) ذِكْرُ(A) mention رَحْمَتِ(of the) Mercy رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord عَبْدَهٗ(to) His servant زَكَرِیَّاZakariya ۟ۖۚ(2) اِذْWhen نَادٰیhe called رَبَّهٗ(to) his Lord نِدَآءًa call خَفِیًّاsecret ۟(3) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord اِنِّیْIndeed, [I] وَهَنَ(have) weakened الْعَظْمُmy bones مِنِّیْmy bones وَاشْتَعَلَand flared الرَّاْسُ(my) head شَیْبًا(with) white وَّلَمْand not اَكُنْI have been بِدُعَآىِٕكَin (my) supplication (to) You رَبِّmy Lord شَقِیًّاunblessed ۟(4) وَاِنِّیْAnd indeed, I خِفْتُ[I] fear الْمَوَالِیَthe successors مِنْafter me وَّرَآءِیْafter me وَكَانَتِand is امْرَاَتِیْmy wife عَاقِرًاbarren فَهَبْSo give لِیْ[to] me مِنْfrom لَّدُنْكَYourself وَلِیًّاan heir ۟ۙ(5) یَّرِثُنِیْWho will inherit me وَیَرِثُand inherit مِنْfrom اٰلِ(the) family یَعْقُوْبَ ۖۗ(of) Yaqub وَاجْعَلْهُAnd make him رَبِّmy Lord رَضِیًّاpleasing ۟(6) یٰزَكَرِیَّاۤO Zakariya اِنَّاIndeed, We نُبَشِّرُكَ[We] give you glad tidings بِغُلٰمِof a boy سْمُهٗhis name یَحْیٰی ۙ(will be) Yahya لَمْnot نَجْعَلْWe (have) assigned لَّهٗ[for] it مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore سَمِیًّا(this) name ۟(7) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord اَنّٰیHow یَكُوْنُcan لِیْI have غُلٰمٌa boy وَّكَانَتِwhile is امْرَاَتِیْmy wife عَاقِرًاbarren وَّقَدْand indeed بَلَغْتُI have reached مِنَof الْكِبَرِthe old age عِتِیًّاextreme ۟(8) قَالَHe said كَذٰلِكَ ۚThus قَالَsaid رَبُّكَyour Lord هُوَ'It عَلَیَّ(is) easy for Me هَیِّنٌ(is) easy for Me وَّقَدْand certainly خَلَقْتُكَI (have) created you مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَلَمْwhile not تَكُyou were شَیْـًٔاanything.' ۟(9) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord اجْعَلْMake لِّیْۤfor me اٰیَةً ؕa sign قَالَHe said اٰیَتُكَYour sign اَلَّا(is) that not تُكَلِّمَyou will speak النَّاسَ(to) the people ثَلٰثَ(for) three لَیَالٍnights سَوِیًّاsound ۟(10) فَخَرَجَThen he came out عَلٰیto قَوْمِهٖhis people مِنَfrom الْمِحْرَابِthe prayer chamber فَاَوْحٰۤیand he signaled اِلَیْهِمْto them اَنْto سَبِّحُوْاglorify (Allah) بُكْرَةً(in) the morning وَّعَشِیًّاand (in) the evening ۟(11) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 305 - Juz 16 یٰیَحْیٰیO Yahya خُذِHold الْكِتٰبَthe Scripture بِقُوَّةٍ ؕwith strength وَاٰتَیْنٰهُAnd We gave him الْحُكْمَ[the] wisdom صَبِیًّا(when he was) a child ۟ۙ(12) وَّحَنَانًاAnd affection مِّنْfrom لَّدُنَّاUs وَزَكٰوةً ؕand purity وَكَانَand he was تَقِیًّاrighteous ۟ۙ(13) وَّبَرًّاAnd dutiful بِوَالِدَیْهِto his parents وَلَمْand not یَكُنْhe was جَبَّارًاa tyrant عَصِیًّاdisobedient ۟(14) وَسَلٰمٌAnd peace be عَلَیْهِupon him یَوْمَ(the) day وُلِدَhe was born وَیَوْمَand (the) day یَمُوْتُhe dies وَیَوْمَand (the) day یُبْعَثُhe will be raised حَیًّاalive ۟۠(15) وَاذْكُرْAnd mention فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book مَرْیَمَ ۘMaryam اِذِwhen انْتَبَذَتْshe withdrew مِنْfrom اَهْلِهَاher family مَكَانًا(to) a place شَرْقِیًّاeastern ۟ۙ(16) فَاتَّخَذَتْThen she took مِنْfrom them دُوْنِهِمْfrom them حِجَابًا ۪۫a screen فَاَرْسَلْنَاۤThen We sent اِلَیْهَاto her رُوْحَنَاOur Spirit فَتَمَثَّلَthen he assumed for her the likeness لَهَاthen he assumed for her the likeness بَشَرًا(of) a man سَوِیًّاwell-proportioned ۟(17) قَالَتْShe said اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَعُوْذُ[I] seek refuge بِالرَّحْمٰنِwith the Most Gracious مِنْكَfrom you اِنْif كُنْتَyou are تَقِیًّاGod fearing ۟(18) قَالَHe said اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنَاI am رَسُوْلُa Messenger رَبِّكِ ۖۗ(from) your Lord لِاَهَبَthat I (may) bestow لَكِon you غُلٰمًاa son زَكِیًّاpure ۟(19) قَالَتْShe said اَنّٰیHow یَكُوْنُcan be لِیْfor me غُلٰمٌa son وَّلَمْwhen not یَمْسَسْنِیْhas touched me بَشَرٌa man وَّلَمْand not اَكُI am بَغِیًّاunchaste ۟(20) قَالَHe said كَذٰلِكِ ۚThus قَالَsaid رَبُّكِyour Lord هُوَ'It عَلَیَّ(is) for Me هَیِّنٌ ۚeasy وَلِنَجْعَلَهٗۤand so that We will make him اٰیَةًa sign لِّلنَّاسِfor the mankind وَرَحْمَةًand a Mercy مِّنَّا ۚfrom Us وَكَانَAnd (it) is اَمْرًاa matter مَّقْضِیًّاdecreed.' ۟(21) فَحَمَلَتْهُSo she conceived him فَانْتَبَذَتْand she withdrew بِهٖwith him مَكَانًا(to) a place قَصِیًّاremote ۟(22) فَاَجَآءَهَاThen drove her الْمَخَاضُthe pains of childbirth اِلٰیto جِذْعِ(the) trunk النَّخْلَةِ ۚ(of) the date-palm قَالَتْShe said یٰلَیْتَنِیْO! I wish مِتُّI (had) died قَبْلَbefore هٰذَاthis وَكُنْتُand I was نَسْیًا(in) oblivion مَّنْسِیًّاforgotten ۟(23) فَنَادٰىهَاSo cried to her مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاۤbeneath her اَلَّاThat (do) not تَحْزَنِیْgrieve قَدْverily جَعَلَ(has) placed رَبُّكِyour Lord تَحْتَكِbeneath you سَرِیًّاa stream ۟(24) وَهُزِّیْۤAnd shake اِلَیْكِtowards you بِجِذْعِ(the) trunk النَّخْلَةِ(of) the date-palm تُسٰقِطْit will drop عَلَیْكِupon you رُطَبًاfresh dates جَنِیًّاripe ۟ؗ(25) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 306 - Juz 16 فَكُلِیْSo eat وَاشْرَبِیْand drink وَقَرِّیْand cool عَیْنًا ۚ(your) eyes فَاِمَّاAnd if تَرَیِنَّyou see مِنَfrom الْبَشَرِhuman being اَحَدًا ۙanyone فَقُوْلِیْۤthen say اِنِّیْIndeed, I نَذَرْتُ[I] have vowed لِلرَّحْمٰنِto the Most Gracious صَوْمًاa fast فَلَنْso not اُكَلِّمَI will speak الْیَوْمَtoday اِنْسِیًّا(to any) human being ۟ۚ(26) فَاَتَتْThen she came بِهٖwith him قَوْمَهَا(to) her people تَحْمِلُهٗ ؕcarrying him قَالُوْاThey said یٰمَرْیَمُO Maryam لَقَدْCertainly جِئْتِyou (have) brought شَیْـًٔاan amazing thing فَرِیًّاan amazing thing ۟(27) یٰۤاُخْتَO sister هٰرُوْنَ(of) Harun مَاNot كَانَwas اَبُوْكِyour father امْرَاَan evil man سَوْءٍan evil man وَّمَاand not كَانَتْwas اُمُّكِyour mother بَغِیًّاunchaste ۟ۖۚ(28) فَاَشَارَتْThen she pointed اِلَیْهِ ؕto him قَالُوْاThey said كَیْفَHow نُكَلِّمُ(can) we speak مَنْ(to one) who كَانَis فِیin الْمَهْدِthe cradle صَبِیًّاa child ۟(29) قَالَHe said اِنِّیْIndeed, I am عَبْدُa slave اللّٰهِ ؕ۫(of) Allah اٰتٰىنِیَHe gave me الْكِتٰبَthe Scripture وَجَعَلَنِیْand made me نَبِیًّاa Prophet ۟ۙ(30) وَّجَعَلَنِیْAnd He (has) made me مُبٰرَكًاblessed اَیْنَwherever مَاwherever كُنْتُ ۪I am وَاَوْصٰنِیْand has enjoined (on) me بِالصَّلٰوةِ[of] the prayer وَالزَّكٰوةِand zakah مَاas long as I am دُمْتُas long as I am حَیًّاalive ۪۟ۖ(31) وَّبَرًّاAnd dutiful بِوَالِدَتِیْ ؗto my mother وَلَمْand not یَجْعَلْنِیْHe (has) made me جَبَّارًاinsolent شَقِیًّاunblessed ۟(32) وَالسَّلٰمُAnd peace (be) عَلَیَّon me یَوْمَ(the) day وُلِدْتُّI was born وَیَوْمَand (the) day اَمُوْتُI will die وَیَوْمَand (the) Day اُبْعَثُI will be raised حَیًّاalive ۟(33) ذٰلِكَThat عِیْسَی(was) Isa ابْنُ(the) son مَرْیَمَ ۚ(of) Maryam قَوْلَa statement الْحَقِّ(of) truth الَّذِیْthat which فِیْهِabout it یَمْتَرُوْنَthey dispute ۟(34) مَاNot كَانَ(it) is لِلّٰهِfor Allah اَنْthat یَّتَّخِذَHe should take مِنْany son وَّلَدٍ ۙany son سُبْحٰنَهٗ ؕGlory be to Him اِذَاWhen قَضٰۤیHe decrees اَمْرًاa matter فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَقُوْلُHe says لَهٗto it كُنْBe فَیَكُوْنُand it is ۟ؕ(35) وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah رَبِّیْ(is) my Lord وَرَبُّكُمْand your Lord فَاعْبُدُوْهُ ؕso worship Him هٰذَاThis صِرَاطٌ(is) a path مُّسْتَقِیْمٌstraight ۟(36) فَاخْتَلَفَBut differed الْاَحْزَابُthe sects مِنْfrom among them بَیْنِهِمْ ۚfrom among them فَوَیْلٌso woe لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve مِنْfrom مَّشْهَدِ(the) witnessing یَوْمٍ(of) a Day عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟(37) اَسْمِعْHow they will hear بِهِمْHow they will hear وَاَبْصِرْ ۙand how (they will) see یَوْمَ(the) Day یَاْتُوْنَنَاthey will come to Us لٰكِنِbut الظّٰلِمُوْنَthe wrongdoers الْیَوْمَtoday فِیْ(are) in ضَلٰلٍerror مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(38) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 307 - Juz 16 وَاَنْذِرْهُمْAnd warn them یَوْمَ(of the) Day الْحَسْرَةِ(of) the Regret اِذْwhen قُضِیَhas been decided الْاَمْرُ ۘthe matter وَهُمْAnd they فِیْ(are) in غَفْلَةٍheedlessness وَّهُمْand they لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(39) اِنَّاIndeed, We نَحْنُ[We] نَرِثُ[We] will inherit الْاَرْضَthe earth وَمَنْand whoever عَلَیْهَا(is) on it وَاِلَیْنَاand to Us یُرْجَعُوْنَthey will be returned ۟۠(40) وَاذْكُرْAnd mention فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book اِبْرٰهِیْمَ ؕ۬Ibrahim اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas صِدِّیْقًاa man of truth نَّبِیًّاa Prophet ۟(41) اِذْWhen قَالَhe said لِاَبِیْهِto his father یٰۤاَبَتِO my father لِمَWhy تَعْبُدُ(do) you worship مَاthat which لَاnot یَسْمَعُhears وَلَاand not یُبْصِرُsees وَلَاand not یُغْنِیْbenefits عَنْكَ[to] you شَیْـًٔا(in) anything ۟(42) یٰۤاَبَتِO my father اِنِّیْIndeed, [I] قَدْverily جَآءَنِیْ(has) come to me مِنَof الْعِلْمِthe knowledge مَاwhat لَمْnot یَاْتِكَcame to you فَاتَّبِعْنِیْۤso follow me اَهْدِكَI will guide you صِرَاطًا(to) the path سَوِیًّاeven ۟(43) یٰۤاَبَتِO my father لَا(Do) not تَعْبُدِworship الشَّیْطٰنَ ؕthe Shaitaan اِنَّIndeed الشَّیْطٰنَthe Shaitaan كَانَis لِلرَّحْمٰنِto the Most Gracious عَصِیًّاdisobedient ۟(44) یٰۤاَبَتِO my father اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear اَنْthat یَّمَسَّكَwill touch you عَذَابٌa punishment مِّنَfrom الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious فَتَكُوْنَso you would be لِلشَّیْطٰنِto the Shaitaan وَلِیًّاa friend ۟(45) قَالَHe said اَرَاغِبٌDo you hate اَنْتَDo you hate عَنْ(from) اٰلِهَتِیْmy gods یٰۤاِبْرٰهِیْمُ ۚO Ibrahim لَىِٕنْSurely, if لَّمْnot تَنْتَهِyou desist لَاَرْجُمَنَّكَsurely, I will stone you وَاهْجُرْنِیْso leave me مَلِیًّا(for) a prolonged time ۟(46) قَالَHe said سَلٰمٌPeace (be) عَلَیْكَ ۚon you سَاَسْتَغْفِرُI will ask forgiveness لَكَfor you رَبِّیْ ؕ(from) my Lord اِنَّهٗIndeed, He كَانَis بِیْto me حَفِیًّاEver Gracious ۟(47) وَاَعْتَزِلُكُمْAnd I will leave you وَمَاand what تَدْعُوْنَyou invoke مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah وَاَدْعُوْاand I will invoke رَبِّیْ ۖؗmy Lord عَسٰۤیMay be اَلَّاۤthat not اَكُوْنَI will be بِدُعَآءِin invocation رَبِّیْ(to) my Lord شَقِیًّاunblessed ۟(48) فَلَمَّاSo when اعْتَزَلَهُمْhe left them وَمَاand what یَعْبُدُوْنَthey worshipped مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِ ۙbesides Allah وَهَبْنَا[and] We bestowed لَهٗۤ[to] him اِسْحٰقَIsaac وَیَعْقُوْبَ ؕand Yaqub وَكُلًّاand each (of them) جَعَلْنَاWe made نَبِیًّاa Prophet ۟(49) وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We bestowed لَهُمْto them مِّنْof رَّحْمَتِنَاOur Mercy وَجَعَلْنَاand We made لَهُمْfor them لِسَانَa truthful mention صِدْقٍa truthful mention عَلِیًّاhigh ۟۠(50) وَاذْكُرْAnd mention فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book مُوْسٰۤی ؗMusa اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas مُخْلَصًاchosen وَّكَانَand was رَسُوْلًاa Messenger نَّبِیًّاa Prophet ۟(51) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 308 - Juz 16 وَنَادَیْنٰهُAnd We called him مِنْfrom جَانِبِ(the) side الطُّوْرِ(of) the Mount الْاَیْمَنِthe right وَقَرَّبْنٰهُand brought him near نَجِیًّا(for) conversation ۟(52) وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We bestowed لَهٗ[to] him مِنْfrom رَّحْمَتِنَاۤOur Mercy اَخَاهُhis brother هٰرُوْنَHarun نَبِیًّاa Prophet ۟(53) وَاذْكُرْAnd mention فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book اِسْمٰعِیْلَ ؗIshmael اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas صَادِقَtrue الْوَعْدِ(to his) promise وَكَانَand was رَسُوْلًاa Messenger نَّبِیًّاa Prophet ۟ۚ(54) وَكَانَAnd he used یَاْمُرُ(to) enjoin اَهْلَهٗ(on) his people بِالصَّلٰوةِthe prayer وَالزَّكٰوةِ ۪and zakah وَكَانَand was عِنْدَnear رَبِّهٖhis Lord مَرْضِیًّاpleasing ۟(55) وَاذْكُرْAnd mention فِیin الْكِتٰبِthe Book اِدْرِیْسَ ؗIdris اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas صِدِّیْقًاtruthful نَّبِیًّاa Prophet ۟ۗۙ(56) وَّرَفَعْنٰهُAnd We raised him مَكَانًا(to) a position عَلِیًّاhigh ۟(57) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الَّذِیْنَ(were) the ones whom اَنْعَمَAllah bestowed favor اللّٰهُAllah bestowed favor عَلَیْهِمْupon them مِّنَfrom (among) النَّبِیّٖنَthe Prophets مِنْof ذُرِّیَّةِ(the) offspring اٰدَمَ ۗ(of) Adam وَمِمَّنْand of those حَمَلْنَاWe carried مَعَwith نُوْحٍ ؗNuh وَّمِنْand of ذُرِّیَّةِ(the) offspring اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(of) Ibrahim وَاِسْرَآءِیْلَ ؗand Israel وَمِمَّنْand of (those) whom هَدَیْنَاWe guided وَاجْتَبَیْنَا ؕand We chose اِذَاWhen تُتْلٰیwere recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُ(the) Verses الرَّحْمٰنِ(of) the Most Gracious خَرُّوْاthey fell سُجَّدًاprostrating وَّبُكِیًّاand weeping ۟(58) فَخَلَفَThen succeeded مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them خَلْفٌsuccessors اَضَاعُواwho neglected الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاتَّبَعُواand they followed الشَّهَوٰتِthe lusts فَسَوْفَso soon یَلْقَوْنَthey will meet غَیًّاevil ۟ۙ(59) اِلَّاExcept مَنْ(one) who تَابَrepented وَاٰمَنَand believed وَعَمِلَand did صَالِحًاgood (deeds) فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَThen those یَدْخُلُوْنَwill enter الْجَنَّةَParadise وَلَاand not یُظْلَمُوْنَthey will be wronged شَیْـًٔا(in) anything ۟ۙ(60) جَنّٰتِGardens عَدْنِ(of) Eden لَّتِیْwhich وَعَدَpromised الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious عِبَادَهٗ(to) His slaves بِالْغَیْبِ ؕin the unseen اِنَّهٗIndeed, [it] كَانَis وَعْدُهٗHis promise مَاْتِیًّاsure to come ۟(61) لَاNot یَسْمَعُوْنَthey will hear فِیْهَاtherein لَغْوًاvain talk اِلَّاbut سَلٰمًا ؕpeace وَلَهُمْAnd for them رِزْقُهُمْ(is) their provision فِیْهَاtherein بُكْرَةًmorning وَّعَشِیًّاand evening ۟(62) تِلْكَThis الْجَنَّةُ(is) Paradise الَّتِیْwhich نُوْرِثُWe give (as) inheritance مِنْ[of] (to) عِبَادِنَاOur slaves مَنْ(the one) who كَانَis تَقِیًّاrighteous ۟(63) وَمَاAnd not نَتَنَزَّلُwe descend اِلَّاexcept بِاَمْرِby (the) Command رَبِّكَ ۚ(of) your Lord لَهٗTo Him (belongs) مَاwhat بَیْنَ(is) before us اَیْدِیْنَا(is) before us وَمَاand what خَلْفَنَا(is) behind us وَمَاand what بَیْنَ(is) between ذٰلِكَ ۚthat وَمَاAnd not كَانَis رَبُّكَyour Lord نَسِیًّاforgetful ۟ۚ(64) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 309 - Juz 16 رَبُّLord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between both of them فَاعْبُدْهُso worship Him وَاصْطَبِرْand be constant لِعِبَادَتِهٖ ؕin His worship هَلْDo تَعْلَمُyou know لَهٗfor Him سَمِیًّاany similarity ۟۠(65) وَیَقُوْلُAnd says الْاِنْسَانُ[the] man ءَاِذَاWhat! When مَاWhat! When مِتُّI am dead لَسَوْفَsurely will اُخْرَجُI be brought forth حَیًّاalive ۟(66) اَوَلَاDoes not یَذْكُرُremember الْاِنْسَانُ[the] man اَنَّاthat We خَلَقْنٰهُWe created him مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَلَمْwhile not یَكُhe was شَیْـًٔاanything ۟(67) فَوَرَبِّكَSo by your Lord لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْsurely, We will gather them وَالشَّیٰطِیْنَand the devils ثُمَّthen لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْsurely, We will bring them حَوْلَaround جَهَنَّمَHell جِثِیًّاbent (on) knees ۟ۚ(68) ثُمَّThen لَنَنْزِعَنَّsurely, We will drag out مِنْfrom كُلِّevery شِیْعَةٍsect اَیُّهُمْthose of them اَشَدُّ(who were) worst عَلَیagainst الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious عِتِیًّا(in) rebellion ۟ۚ(69) ثُمَّThen لَنَحْنُsurely, We اَعْلَمُknow best بِالَّذِیْنَ[of] those who هُمْ[they] اَوْلٰی(are) most worthy بِهَاtherein صِلِیًّا(of) being burnt ۟(70) وَاِنْAnd (there is) not مِّنْكُمْ(any) of you اِلَّاbut وَارِدُهَا ۚ(will be) passing over it كَانَ(This) is عَلٰیupon رَبِّكَyour Lord حَتْمًاan inevitability مَّقْضِیًّاdecreed ۟ۚ(71) ثُمَّThen نُنَجِّیWe will deliver الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfeared (Allah) وَّنَذَرُand We will leave الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers فِیْهَاtherein جِثِیًّاbent (on) knees ۟(72) وَاِذَاAnd when تُتْلٰیare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُنَاOur Verses بَیِّنٰتٍclear قَالَsay الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اٰمَنُوْۤا ۙbelieved اَیُّWhich الْفَرِیْقَیْنِ(of) the two groups خَیْرٌ(is) better مَّقَامًا(in) position وَّاَحْسَنُand best نَدِیًّا(in) assembly ۟(73) وَكَمْAnd how many اَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed قَبْلَهُمْbefore them مِّنْof قَرْنٍa generation هُمْthey اَحْسَنُ(were) better اَثَاثًا(in) possessions وَّرِءْیًاand appearance ۟(74) قُلْSay مَنْWhoever كَانَis فِیin الضَّلٰلَةِ[the] error فَلْیَمْدُدْthen surely will extend لَهُfor him الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious مَدًّا ۚ۬an extension حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen رَاَوْاthey see مَاwhat یُوْعَدُوْنَthey were promised اِمَّاeither الْعَذَابَthe punishment وَاِمَّاor السَّاعَةَ ؕthe Hour فَسَیَعْلَمُوْنَthen they will know مَنْwho هُوَ[he] شَرٌّ(is) worst مَّكَانًا(in) position وَّاَضْعَفُand weaker جُنْدًا(in) forces ۟(75) وَیَزِیْدُAnd Allah increases اللّٰهُAnd Allah increases الَّذِیْنَthose who اهْتَدَوْاaccept guidance هُدًی ؕ(in) guidance وَالْبٰقِیٰتُAnd the everlasting الصّٰلِحٰتُgood deeds خَیْرٌ(are) better عِنْدَnear رَبِّكَyour Lord ثَوَابًا(for) reward وَّخَیْرٌand better مَّرَدًّا(for) return ۟(76) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 310 - Juz 16 اَفَرَءَیْتَThen, have you seen الَّذِیْhe who كَفَرَdisbelieved بِاٰیٰتِنَاin Our Verses وَقَالَand said لَاُوْتَیَنَّSurely, I will be given مَالًاwealth وَّوَلَدًاand children ۟ؕ(77) اَطَّلَعَHas he looked الْغَیْبَ(into) the unseen اَمِor اتَّخَذَhas he taken عِنْدَfrom الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious عَهْدًاa promise ۟ۙ(78) كَلَّا ؕNay سَنَكْتُبُWe will record مَاwhat یَقُوْلُhe says وَنَمُدُّand We will extend لَهٗfor him مِنَfrom الْعَذَابِthe punishment مَدًّاextensively ۟ۙ(79) وَّنَرِثُهٗAnd We will inherit (from) him مَاwhat یَقُوْلُhe says وَیَاْتِیْنَاand he will come to Us فَرْدًاalone ۟(80) وَاتَّخَذُوْاAnd they have taken مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah اٰلِهَةًgods لِّیَكُوْنُوْاthat they may be لَهُمْfor them عِزًّاan honor ۟ۙ(81) كَلَّا ؕNay سَیَكْفُرُوْنَthey will deny بِعِبَادَتِهِمْtheir worship (of them) وَیَكُوْنُوْنَand they will be عَلَیْهِمْagainst them ضِدًّاopponents ۟۠(82) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّاۤthat We اَرْسَلْنَا[We] have sent الشَّیٰطِیْنَthe devils عَلَیupon الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers تَؤُزُّهُمْinciting them اَزًّا(with) incitement ۟ۙ(83) فَلَاSo (do) not تَعْجَلْmake haste عَلَیْهِمْ ؕagainst them اِنَّمَاOnly نَعُدُّWe count لَهُمْfor them عَدًّاa number ۟ۚ(84) یَوْمَ(The) Day نَحْشُرُWe will gather الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous اِلَیto الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious وَفْدًا(as) a delegation ۟ۙ(85) وَّنَسُوْقُAnd We will drive الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals اِلٰیto جَهَنَّمَHell وِرْدًاthirsty ۟ۘ(86) لَاNot یَمْلِكُوْنَthey will have the power الشَّفَاعَةَ(of) the intercession اِلَّاexcept مَنِ(he) who اتَّخَذَhas taken عِنْدَfrom الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious عَهْدًاa covenant ۟ۘ(87) وَقَالُواAnd they say اتَّخَذَHas taken الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious وَلَدًاa son ۟ؕ(88) لَقَدْVerily جِئْتُمْyou have put forth شَیْـًٔاa thing اِدًّاatrocious ۟ۙ(89) تَكَادُAlmost السَّمٰوٰتُthe heavens یَتَفَطَّرْنَget torn مِنْهُtherefrom وَتَنْشَقُّand splits asunder الْاَرْضُthe earth وَتَخِرُّand collapse الْجِبَالُthe mountain هَدًّا(in) devastation ۟ۙ(90) اَنْThat دَعَوْاthey invoke لِلرَّحْمٰنِto the Most Gracious وَلَدًاa son ۟ۚ(91) وَمَاAnd not یَنْۢبَغِیْis appropriate لِلرَّحْمٰنِfor the Most Gracious اَنْthat یَّتَّخِذَHe should take وَلَدًاa son ۟ؕ(92) اِنْNot كُلُّall مَنْwho فِی(are) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth اِلَّاۤbut اٰتِی(will) come الرَّحْمٰنِ(to) the Most Gracious عَبْدًا(as) a slave ۟ؕ(93) لَقَدْVerily اَحْصٰىهُمْHe has enumerated them وَعَدَّهُمْand counted them عَدًّاa counting ۟ؕ(94) وَكُلُّهُمْAnd all of them اٰتِیْهِ(will) come (to) Him یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فَرْدًاalone ۟(95) Surah 19. Maryam - Page 311 - Juz 16 اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِgood deeds سَیَجْعَلُwill bestow لَهُمُfor them الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious وُدًّاaffection ۟(96) فَاِنَّمَاSo, only یَسَّرْنٰهُWe (have) made it easy بِلِسَانِكَin your tongue لِتُبَشِّرَthat you may give glad tidings بِهِwith it الْمُتَّقِیْنَ(to) the righteous وَتُنْذِرَand warn بِهٖwith it قَوْمًاa people لُّدًّاhostile ۟(97) وَكَمْAnd how many اَهْلَكْنَاWe (have) destroyed قَبْلَهُمْbefore them مِّنْof قَرْنٍ ؕa generation هَلْCan تُحِسُّyou perceive مِنْهُمْof them مِّنْany اَحَدٍone اَوْor تَسْمَعُhear لَهُمْfrom them رِكْزًاa sound ۟۠(98) Surah 20. Taha (Ta-Ha) V135 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ طٰهٰTa Ha ۟ۚ(1) مَاۤNot اَنْزَلْنَاWe (have) sent down عَلَیْكَto you الْقُرْاٰنَthe Quran لِتَشْقٰۤیthat you be distressed ۟ۙ(2) اِلَّا(But) تَذْكِرَةً(as) a reminder لِّمَنْfor (those) who یَّخْشٰیfear ۟ۙ(3) تَنْزِیْلًاA revelation مِّمَّنْfrom (He) Who خَلَقَcreated الْاَرْضَthe earth وَالسَّمٰوٰتِand the heavens الْعُلٰی[the] high ۟ؕ(4) اَلرَّحْمٰنُThe Most Gracious عَلَیover الْعَرْشِthe Throne اسْتَوٰیis established ۟(5) لَهٗTo Him (belongs) مَاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between them وَمَاand whatever تَحْتَ(is) under الثَّرٰیthe soil ۟(6) وَاِنْAnd if تَجْهَرْyou speak aloud بِالْقَوْلِthe word فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, He یَعْلَمُknows السِّرَّthe secret وَاَخْفٰیand the more hidden ۟(7) اَللّٰهُAllah لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ؕHim لَهُTo Him (belong) الْاَسْمَآءُthe Names الْحُسْنٰیthe Most Beautiful ۟(8) وَهَلْAnd has اَتٰىكَcome to you حَدِیْثُthe narration مُوْسٰی(of) Musa ۟ۘ(9) اِذْWhen رَاٰhe saw نَارًاa fire فَقَالَthen he said لِاَهْلِهِto his family امْكُثُوْۤاStay here اِنِّیْۤindeed, I اٰنَسْتُ[I] perceived نَارًاa fire لَّعَلِّیْۤperhaps I (can) اٰتِیْكُمْbring you مِّنْهَاtherefrom بِقَبَسٍa burning brand اَوْor اَجِدُI find عَلَیat النَّارِthe fire هُدًیguidance ۟(10) فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَتٰىهَاhe came to it نُوْدِیَhe was called یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟ؕ(11) اِنِّیْۤIndeed, [I] اَنَاI Am رَبُّكَyour Lord فَاخْلَعْso remove نَعْلَیْكَ ۚyour shoes اِنَّكَIndeed, you بِالْوَادِ(are) in the valley الْمُقَدَّسِthe sacred طُوًی(of) Tuwa ۟ؕ(12) Surah 20. Taha - Page 312 - Juz 16 وَاَنَاAnd I اخْتَرْتُكَ(have) chosen you فَاسْتَمِعْso listen لِمَاto what یُوْحٰیis revealed ۟(13) اِنَّنِیْۤIndeed, [I] اَنَاI Am اللّٰهُAllah لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاۤbut اَنَاI فَاعْبُدْنِیْ ۙso worship Me وَاَقِمِand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer لِذِكْرِیْfor My remembrance ۟(14) اِنَّIndeed السَّاعَةَthe Hour اٰتِیَةٌ(will be) coming اَكَادُI almost اُخْفِیْهَا[I] hide it لِتُجْزٰیthat may be recompensed كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul بِمَاfor what تَسْعٰیit strives ۟(15) فَلَاSo (do) not یَصُدَّنَّكَ(let) avert you عَنْهَاfrom it مَنْ(one) who لَّا(does) not یُؤْمِنُbelieve بِهَاin it وَاتَّبَعَand follows هَوٰىهُhis desires فَتَرْدٰیlest you perish ۟(16) وَمَاAnd what تِلْكَ(is) that بِیَمِیْنِكَin your right hand یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(17) قَالَHe said هِیَIt عَصَایَ ۚ(is) my staff اَتَوَكَّؤُاI lean عَلَیْهَاupon it وَاَهُشُّand I bring down leaves بِهَاwith it عَلٰیfor غَنَمِیْmy sheep وَلِیَand for me فِیْهَاin it مَاٰرِبُ(are) uses اُخْرٰیother ۟(18) قَالَHe said اَلْقِهَاThrow it down یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(19) فَاَلْقٰىهَاSo he threw it down فَاِذَاand behold هِیَIt حَیَّةٌ(was) a snake تَسْعٰیmoving swiftly ۟(20) قَالَHe said خُذْهَاSeize it وَلَاand (do) not تَخَفْ ۥfear سَنُعِیْدُهَاWe will return it سِیْرَتَهَا(to) its state الْاُوْلٰیthe former ۟(21) وَاضْمُمْAnd draw near یَدَكَyour hand اِلٰیto جَنَاحِكَyour side تَخْرُجْit will come out بَیْضَآءَwhite مِنْwithout any غَیْرِwithout any سُوْٓءٍdisease اٰیَةً(as) a sign اُخْرٰیanother ۟ۙ(22) لِنُرِیَكَThat We may show you مِنْof اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs الْكُبْرٰیthe Greatest ۟ۚ(23) اِذْهَبْGo اِلٰیto فِرْعَوْنَFiraun اِنَّهٗIndeed, he طَغٰی(has) transgressed ۟۠(24) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord اشْرَحْExpand لِیْfor me صَدْرِیْmy breast ۟ۙ(25) وَیَسِّرْAnd ease لِیْۤfor me اَمْرِیْmy task ۟ۙ(26) وَاحْلُلْAnd untie عُقْدَةً(the) knot مِّنْfrom لِّسَانِیْmy tongue ۟ۙ(27) یَفْقَهُوْاThat they may understand قَوْلِیْmy speech ۪۟(28) وَاجْعَلْAnd appoint لِّیْfor me وَزِیْرًاa minister مِّنْfrom اَهْلِیْmy family ۟ۙ(29) هٰرُوْنَHarun اَخِیmy brother ۟ۙ(30) اشْدُدْReinforce بِهٖۤthrough him اَزْرِیْmy strength ۟ۙ(31) وَاَشْرِكْهُAnd make him share فِیْۤ[in] اَمْرِیْmy task ۟ۙ(32) كَیْThat نُسَبِّحَكَwe may glorify You كَثِیْرًاmuch ۟ۙ(33) وَّنَذْكُرَكَAnd [we] remember You كَثِیْرًاmuch ۟ؕ(34) اِنَّكَIndeed, [You] كُنْتَYou are بِنَاof us بَصِیْرًاAll-Seer ۟(35) قَالَHe said قَدْVerily اُوْتِیْتَyou are granted سُؤْلَكَyour request یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(36) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed مَنَنَّاWe conferred a favor عَلَیْكَon you مَرَّةًanother time اُخْرٰۤیanother time ۟ۙ(37) Surah 20. Taha - Page 313 - Juz 16 اِذْWhen اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe inspired اِلٰۤیto اُمِّكَyour mother مَاwhat یُوْحٰۤیis inspired ۟ۙ(38) اَنِThat اقْذِفِیْهِcast him فِیin التَّابُوْتِthe chest فَاقْذِفِیْهِthen cast it فِیin الْیَمِّthe river فَلْیُلْقِهِthen let cast it الْیَمُّthe river بِالسَّاحِلِon the bank یَاْخُذْهُwill take him عَدُوٌّan enemy لِّیْto Me وَعَدُوٌّand an enemy لَّهٗ ؕto him وَاَلْقَیْتُAnd I cast عَلَیْكَover you مَحَبَّةًlove مِّنِّیْ ۚ۬from Me وَلِتُصْنَعَand that you may be brought up عَلٰیunder عَیْنِیْMy eye ۟ۘ(39) اِذْWhen تَمْشِیْۤwas going اُخْتُكَyour sister فَتَقُوْلُand she said هَلْShall اَدُلُّكُمْI show you عَلٰی[to] مَنْ(one) who یَّكْفُلُهٗ ؕwill nurse and rear him فَرَجَعْنٰكَSo We returned you اِلٰۤیto اُمِّكَyour mother كَیْthat تَقَرَّmay be cooled عَیْنُهَاher eyes وَلَاand not تَحْزَنَ ؕ۬she grieves وَقَتَلْتَAnd you killed نَفْسًاa man فَنَجَّیْنٰكَbut We saved you مِنَfrom الْغَمِّthe distress وَفَتَنّٰكَand We tried you فُتُوْنًا ۫۬(with) a trial فَلَبِثْتَThen you remained سِنِیْنَ(some) years فِیْۤwith اَهْلِ(the) people مَدْیَنَ ۙ۬(of) Madyan ثُمَّThen جِئْتَyou came عَلٰیat قَدَرٍthe decreed (time) یّٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(40) وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَAnd I (have) chosen you لِنَفْسِیْfor Myself ۟ۚ(41) اِذْهَبْGo اَنْتَyou وَاَخُوْكَand your brother بِاٰیٰتِیْwith My Signs وَلَاand (do) not تَنِیَاslacken فِیْin ذِكْرِیْMy remembrance ۟ۚ(42) اِذْهَبَاۤGo, both of you اِلٰیto فِرْعَوْنَFiraun اِنَّهٗIndeed, he طَغٰی(has) transgressed ۟ۚۖ(43) فَقُوْلَاAnd speak لَهٗto him قَوْلًاa word لَّیِّنًاgentle لَّعَلَّهٗperhaps he یَتَذَكَّرُmay take heed اَوْor یَخْشٰیfear ۟(44) قَالَاThey said رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اِنَّنَاIndeed, we نَخَافُfear اَنْthat یَّفْرُطَhe will hasten عَلَیْنَاۤagainst us اَوْor اَنْthat یَّطْغٰیhe will transgress ۟(45) قَالَHe said لَا(Do) not تَخَافَاۤfear اِنَّنِیْIndeed, I Am مَعَكُمَاۤwith you both اَسْمَعُI hear وَاَرٰیand I see ۟(46) فَاْتِیٰهُSo go to him فَقُوْلَاۤand say اِنَّاIndeed, we رَسُوْلَاboth (are) Messengers رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord فَاَرْسِلْso send مَعَنَاwith us بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ ۙ۬(the) Children of Israel وَلَاand (do) not تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ؕtorment them قَدْVerily جِئْنٰكَwe came to you بِاٰیَةٍwith a Sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ؕyour Lord وَالسَّلٰمُAnd peace عَلٰیon مَنِ(one) who اتَّبَعَfollows الْهُدٰیthe Guidance ۟(47) اِنَّاIndeed, we قَدْverily اُوْحِیَit has been revealed اِلَیْنَاۤto us اَنَّthat الْعَذَابَthe punishment عَلٰی(will be) on مَنْ(one) who كَذَّبَdenies وَتَوَلّٰیand turns away ۟(48) قَالَHe said فَمَنْThen who رَّبُّكُمَا(is) your Lord یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(49) قَالَHe said رَبُّنَاOur Lord الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَعْطٰیgave كُلَّ(to) every شَیْءٍthing خَلْقَهٗits form ثُمَّthen هَدٰیHe guided (it) ۟(50) قَالَHe said فَمَاThen what بَالُ(is the) case الْقُرُوْنِ(of) the generations الْاُوْلٰی(of) the former ۟(51) Surah 20. Taha - Page 314 - Juz 16 قَالَHe said عِلْمُهَاIts knowledge عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّیْmy Lord فِیْin كِتٰبٍ ۚa Record لَاNot یَضِلُّerrs رَبِّیْmy Lord وَلَاand not یَنْسَیforgets ۟ؗ(52) الَّذِیْThe One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الْاَرْضَthe earth مَهْدًا(as) a bed وَّسَلَكَand inserted لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاtherein سُبُلًاways وَّاَنْزَلَand sent down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءً ؕwater فَاَخْرَجْنَاthen We (have) brought forth بِهٖۤwith it اَزْوَاجًاpairs مِّنْof نَّبَاتٍplants شَتّٰیdiverse ۟(53) كُلُوْاEat وَارْعَوْاand pasture اَنْعَامَكُمْ ؕyour cattle اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّاُولِیfor possessors النُّهٰی(of) intelligence ۟۠(54) مِنْهَاFrom it خَلَقْنٰكُمْWe created you وَفِیْهَاand in it نُعِیْدُكُمْWe will return you وَمِنْهَاand from it نُخْرِجُكُمْWe will bring you out تَارَةًtime اُخْرٰیanother ۟(55) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَرَیْنٰهُWe showed him اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs كُلَّهَاall of them فَكَذَّبَbut he denied وَاَبٰیand refused ۟(56) قَالَHe said اَجِئْتَنَاHave you come to us لِتُخْرِجَنَاto drive us out مِنْof اَرْضِنَاour land بِسِحْرِكَwith your magic یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(57) فَلَنَاْتِیَنَّكَThen we will surely produce for you بِسِحْرٍmagic مِّثْلِهٖlike it فَاجْعَلْSo make بَیْنَنَاbetween us وَبَیْنَكَand between you مَوْعِدًاan appointment لَّاnot نُخْلِفُهٗwe will fail it نَحْنُ[we] وَلَاۤand not اَنْتَyou مَكَانًا(in) a place سُوًیeven ۟(58) قَالَHe said مَوْعِدُكُمْYour appointment یَوْمُ(is on the) day الزِّیْنَةِ(of) the festival وَاَنْand that یُّحْشَرَwill be assembled النَّاسُthe people ضُحًی(at) forenoon ۟(59) فَتَوَلّٰیThen went away فِرْعَوْنُFiraun فَجَمَعَand put together كَیْدَهٗhis plan ثُمَّthen اَتٰیcame ۟(60) قَالَSaid لَهُمْto them مُّوْسٰیMusa وَیْلَكُمْWoe to you لَا(Do) not تَفْتَرُوْاinvent عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie فَیُسْحِتَكُمْlest He will destroy you بِعَذَابٍ ۚwith a punishment وَقَدْAnd verily خَابَhe failed مَنِwho افْتَرٰیinvented ۟(61) فَتَنَازَعُوْۤاThen they disputed اَمْرَهُمْ(in) their affair بَیْنَهُمْamong them وَاَسَرُّواand they kept secret النَّجْوٰیthe private conversation ۟(62) قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنْIndeed هٰذٰىنِthese two لَسٰحِرٰنِ[two] magicians یُرِیْدٰنِthey intend اَنْthat یُّخْرِجٰكُمْthey drive you out مِّنْof اَرْضِكُمْyour land بِسِحْرِهِمَاwith their magic وَیَذْهَبَاand do away بِطَرِیْقَتِكُمُwith your way الْمُثْلٰیthe exemplary ۟(63) فَاَجْمِعُوْاSo put together كَیْدَكُمْyour plan ثُمَّthen ائْتُوْاcome صَفًّا ۚ(in) a line وَقَدْAnd verily اَفْلَحَ(will be) successful الْیَوْمَtoday مَنِwho اسْتَعْلٰیovercomes ۟(64) Surah 20. Taha - Page 315 - Juz 16 قَالُوْاThey said یٰمُوْسٰۤیO Musa اِمَّاۤEither اَنْ[that] تُلْقِیَyou throw وَاِمَّاۤor اَنْ[that] نَّكُوْنَwe will be اَوَّلَthe first مَنْwho اَلْقٰیthrows ۟(65) قَالَHe said بَلْNay اَلْقُوْا ۚyou throw فَاِذَاThen behold حِبَالُهُمْTheir ropes وَعِصِیُّهُمْand their staffs یُخَیَّلُseemed اِلَیْهِto him مِنْby سِحْرِهِمْtheir magic اَنَّهَاthat they تَسْعٰی(were) moving ۟(66) فَاَوْجَسَSo sensed فِیْin نَفْسِهٖhimself خِیْفَةًa fear مُّوْسٰیMusa ۟(67) قُلْنَاWe said لَا(Do) not تَخَفْfear اِنَّكَIndeed, you اَنْتَyou الْاَعْلٰی(will be) superior ۟(68) وَاَلْقِAnd throw مَاwhat فِیْ(is) in یَمِیْنِكَyour right hand تَلْقَفْit will swallow up مَاwhat صَنَعُوْا ؕthey have made اِنَّمَاOnly صَنَعُوْاthey (have) made كَیْدُa trick سٰحِرٍ ؕ(of) a magician وَلَاand not یُفْلِحُwill be successful السَّاحِرُthe magician حَیْثُwherever اَتٰیhe comes ۟(69) فَاُلْقِیَSo were thrown down السَّحَرَةُthe magicians سُجَّدًاprostrating قَالُوْۤاThey said اٰمَنَّاWe believe بِرَبِّin (the) Lord هٰرُوْنَ(of) Harun وَمُوْسٰیand Musa ۟(70) قَالَHe said اٰمَنْتُمْYou believe لَهٗ[to] him قَبْلَbefore اَنْ[that] اٰذَنَI gave permission لَكُمْ ؕto you اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَكَبِیْرُكُمُ(is) your chief الَّذِیْthe one who عَلَّمَكُمُtaught you السِّحْرَ ۚthe magic فَلَاُقَطِّعَنَّSo surely I will cut off اَیْدِیَكُمْyour hands وَاَرْجُلَكُمْand your feet مِّنْof خِلَافٍopposite sides وَّلَاُوصَلِّبَنَّكُمْand surely I will crucify you فِیْon جُذُوْعِ(the) trunks النَّخْلِ ؗ(of) date-palms وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّand surely you will know اَیُّنَاۤwhich of us اَشَدُّ(is) more severe عَذَابًا(in) punishment وَّاَبْقٰیand more lasting ۟(71) قَالُوْاThey said لَنْNever نُّؤْثِرَكَwe will prefer you عَلٰیover مَاwhat جَآءَنَاhas come to us مِنَof الْبَیِّنٰتِthe clear proofs وَالَّذِیْand the One Who فَطَرَنَاcreated us فَاقْضِSo decree مَاۤwhatever اَنْتَyou قَاضٍ ؕ(are) decreeing اِنَّمَاOnly تَقْضِیْyou can decree هٰذِهِ(for) this الْحَیٰوةَlife الدُّنْیَا(of) the world ۟ؕ(72) اِنَّاۤIndeed, [we] اٰمَنَّاwe believe بِرَبِّنَاin our Lord لِیَغْفِرَthat He may forgive لَنَاfor us خَطٰیٰنَاour sins وَمَاۤand what اَكْرَهْتَنَاyou compelled us عَلَیْهِon it مِنَof السِّحْرِ ؕthe magic وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah خَیْرٌ(is) Best وَّاَبْقٰیand Ever Lasting ۟(73) اِنَّهٗIndeed, he مَنْwho یَّاْتِcomes رَبَّهٗ(to) his Lord مُجْرِمًا(as) a criminal فَاِنَّthen indeed لَهٗfor him جَهَنَّمَ ؕ(is) Hell لَاNot یَمُوْتُhe will die فِیْهَاin it وَلَاand not یَحْیٰیlive ۟(74) وَمَنْBut whoever یَّاْتِهٖcomes to Him مُؤْمِنًا(as) a believer قَدْverily عَمِلَhe has done الصّٰلِحٰتِthe righteous deeds فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those لَهُمُfor them الدَّرَجٰتُ(will be) the ranks الْعُلٰی[the] high ۟ۙ(75) جَنّٰتُGardens عَدْنٍ(of) Eden تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath them الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers خٰلِدِیْنَabiding forever فِیْهَا ؕin it وَذٰلِكَAnd that جَزٰٓؤُا(is) the reward مَنْ(for him) who تَزَكّٰیpurifies himself ۟۠(76) Surah 20. Taha - Page 316 - Juz 16 وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe inspired اِلٰیto مُوْسٰۤی ۙ۬Musa اَنْthat اَسْرِTravel by night بِعِبَادِیْwith My slaves فَاضْرِبْand strike لَهُمْfor them طَرِیْقًاa path فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea یَبَسًا ۙdry لَّاnot تَخٰفُfearing دَرَكًاto be overtaken وَّلَاand not تَخْشٰیbeing afraid ۟(77) فَاَتْبَعَهُمْThen followed them فِرْعَوْنُFiraun بِجُنُوْدِهٖwith his forces فَغَشِیَهُمْbut covered them مِّنَfrom الْیَمِّthe sea مَاwhat غَشِیَهُمْcovered them ۟ؕ(78) وَاَضَلَّAnd led astray فِرْعَوْنُFiraun قَوْمَهٗhis people وَمَاand (did) not هَدٰیguide them ۟(79) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَO Children of Israel قَدْVerily اَنْجَیْنٰكُمْWe delivered you مِّنْfrom عَدُوِّكُمْyour enemy وَوٰعَدْنٰكُمْand We made a covenant with you جَانِبَon (the) side الطُّوْرِ(of) the Mount الْاَیْمَنَthe right وَنَزَّلْنَاand We sent down عَلَیْكُمُto you الْمَنَّthe Manna وَالسَّلْوٰیand the quails ۟(80) كُلُوْاEat مِنْof طَیِّبٰتِ(the) good things مَاwhich رَزَقْنٰكُمْWe have provided you وَلَاand (do) not تَطْغَوْاtransgress فِیْهِtherein فَیَحِلَّlest should descend عَلَیْكُمْupon you غَضَبِیْ ۚMy Anger وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّحْلِلْon whom descends عَلَیْهِon whom descends غَضَبِیْMy Anger فَقَدْindeed هَوٰیhe (has) perished ۟(81) وَاِنِّیْBut indeed, I Am لَغَفَّارٌthe Perpetual Forgiver لِّمَنْof whoever تَابَrepents وَاٰمَنَand believes وَعَمِلَand does صَالِحًاrighteous (deeds) ثُمَّthen اهْتَدٰیremains guided ۟(82) وَمَاۤAnd what اَعْجَلَكَmade you hasten عَنْfrom قَوْمِكَyour people یٰمُوْسٰیO Musa ۟(83) قَالَHe said هُمْThey اُولَآءِ(are) close عَلٰۤیupon اَثَرِیْmy tracks وَعَجِلْتُand I hastened اِلَیْكَto you رَبِّmy Lord لِتَرْضٰیthat You be pleased ۟(84) قَالَHe said فَاِنَّاBut indeed, We قَدْ[verily] فَتَنَّاWe (have) tried قَوْمَكَyour people مِنْafter you بَعْدِكَafter you وَاَضَلَّهُمُand has led them astray السَّامِرِیُّthe Samiri ۟(85) فَرَجَعَThen Musa returned مُوْسٰۤیThen Musa returned اِلٰیto قَوْمِهٖhis people غَضْبَانَangry اَسِفًا ۚ۬(and) sorrowful قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَلَمْDid not یَعِدْكُمْpromise you رَبُّكُمْyour Lord وَعْدًاa promise حَسَنًا ؕ۬good اَفَطَالَThen, did seem long عَلَیْكُمُto you الْعَهْدُthe promise اَمْor اَرَدْتُّمْdid you desire اَنْthat یَّحِلَّdescend عَلَیْكُمْupon you غَضَبٌ(the) Anger مِّنْof رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord فَاَخْلَفْتُمْso you broke مَّوْعِدِیْ(the) promise to me ۟(86) قَالُوْاThey said مَاۤNot اَخْلَفْنَاwe broke مَوْعِدَكَpromise to you بِمَلْكِنَاby our will وَلٰكِنَّاbut we حُمِّلْنَاۤ[we] were made to carry اَوْزَارًاburdens مِّنْfrom زِیْنَةِornaments الْقَوْمِ(of) the people فَقَذَفْنٰهَاso we threw them فَكَذٰلِكَand thus اَلْقَیthrew السَّامِرِیُّthe Samiri ۟ۙ(87) Surah 20. Taha - Page 317 - Juz 16 فَاَخْرَجَThen he brought forth لَهُمْfor them عِجْلًاa calf's جَسَدًاbody لَّهٗit had خُوَارٌa lowing sound فَقَالُوْاand they said هٰذَاۤThis اِلٰهُكُمْ(is) your god وَاِلٰهُand the god مُوْسٰی ۬(of) Musa فَنَسِیَbut he forgot ۟ؕ(88) اَفَلَاThen, did not یَرَوْنَthey see اَلَّاthat not یَرْجِعُit (could) return اِلَیْهِمْto them قَوْلًا ۙ۬a word وَّلَاand not یَمْلِكُpossess لَهُمْfor them ضَرًّاany harm وَّلَاand not نَفْعًاany benefit ۟۠(89) وَلَقَدْAnd verily قَالَ(had) said لَهُمْto them هٰرُوْنُHarun مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنَّمَاOnly فُتِنْتُمْyou are being tested بِهٖ ۚby it وَاِنَّand indeed رَبَّكُمُyour Lord الرَّحْمٰنُ(is) the Most Gracious فَاتَّبِعُوْنِیْso follow me وَاَطِیْعُوْۤاand obey اَمْرِیْmy order ۟(90) قَالُوْاThey said لَنْNever نَّبْرَحَwe will cease عَلَیْهِbeing devoted to it عٰكِفِیْنَbeing devoted to it حَتّٰیuntil یَرْجِعَreturns اِلَیْنَاto us مُوْسٰیMusa ۟(91) قَالَHe said یٰهٰرُوْنُO Harun مَاWhat مَنَعَكَprevented you اِذْwhen رَاَیْتَهُمْyou saw them ضَلُّوْۤاgoing astray ۟ۙ(92) اَلَّاThat not تَتَّبِعَنِ ؕyou follow me اَفَعَصَیْتَThen, have you disobeyed اَمْرِیْmy order ۟(93) قَالَHe said یَبْنَؤُمَّO son of my mother لَا(Do) not تَاْخُذْseize (me) بِلِحْیَتِیْby my beard وَلَاand not بِرَاْسِیْ ۚby my head اِنِّیْIndeed, I خَشِیْتُ[I] feared اَنْthat تَقُوْلَyou would say فَرَّقْتَYou caused division بَیْنَbetween بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(the) Children of Israel وَلَمْand not تَرْقُبْyou respect قَوْلِیْmy word ۟(94) قَالَHe said فَمَاThen what خَطْبُكَ(is) your case یٰسَامِرِیُّO Samiri ۟(95) قَالَHe said بَصُرْتُI perceived بِمَاwhat لَمْnot یَبْصُرُوْاthey perceive بِهٖin it فَقَبَضْتُso I took قَبْضَةًa handful مِّنْfrom اَثَرِ(the) track الرَّسُوْلِ(of) the Messenger فَنَبَذْتُهَاthen threw it وَكَذٰلِكَand thus سَوَّلَتْsuggested لِیْto me نَفْسِیْmy soul ۟(96) قَالَHe said فَاذْهَبْThen go فَاِنَّAnd indeed لَكَfor you فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life اَنْthat تَقُوْلَyou will say لَا(Do) not مِسَاسَ ۪touch وَاِنَّAnd indeed لَكَfor you مَوْعِدًا(is) an appointment لَّنْnever تُخْلَفَهٗ ۚyou will fail to (keep) it وَانْظُرْAnd look اِلٰۤیat اِلٰهِكَyour god الَّذِیْthat which ظَلْتَyou have remained عَلَیْهِto it عَاكِفًا ؕdevoted لَنُحَرِّقَنَّهٗSurely we will burn it ثُمَّthen لَنَنْسِفَنَّهٗcertainly we will scatter it فِیin الْیَمِّthe sea نَسْفًا(in) particles ۟(97) اِنَّمَاۤOnly اِلٰهُكُمُyour God اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الَّذِیْthe One لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاbut هُوَ ؕHe وَسِعَHe has encompassed كُلَّall شَیْءٍthings عِلْمًا(in) knowledge ۟(98) Surah 20. Taha - Page 318 - Juz 16 كَذٰلِكَThus نَقُصُّWe relate عَلَیْكَto you مِنْfrom اَنْۢبَآءِ(the) news مَا(of) what قَدْhas preceded سَبَقَ ۚhas preceded وَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنٰكَWe have given you مِنْfrom لَّدُنَّاUs ذِكْرًاa Reminder ۟ۖۚ(99) مَنْWhoever اَعْرَضَturns away عَنْهُfrom it فَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, he یَحْمِلُwill bear یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) Resurrection وِزْرًاa burden ۟ۙ(100) خٰلِدِیْنَAbiding forever فِیْهِ ؕin it وَسَآءَand evil لَهُمْfor them یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection حِمْلًا(as) a load ۟ۙ(101) یَّوْمَ(The) Day یُنْفَخُwill be blown فِیin الصُّوْرِthe Trumpet وَنَحْشُرُand We will gather الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat Day زُرْقًاblue-eyed ۟ۚۖ(102) یَّتَخَافَتُوْنَThey are murmuring بَیْنَهُمْamong themselves اِنْNot لَّبِثْتُمْyou remained اِلَّاexcept (for) عَشْرًاten ۟(103) نَحْنُWe اَعْلَمُknow best بِمَاwhat یَقُوْلُوْنَthey will say اِذْwhen یَقُوْلُwill say اَمْثَلُهُمْ(the) best of them طَرِیْقَةً(in) conduct اِنْNot لَّبِثْتُمْyou remained اِلَّاexcept (for) یَوْمًاa day ۟۠(104) وَیَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you عَنِabout الْجِبَالِthe mountains فَقُلْso say یَنْسِفُهَاWill blast them رَبِّیْmy Lord نَسْفًا(into) particles ۟ۙ(105) فَیَذَرُهَاThen He will leave it قَاعًاa level صَفْصَفًاplain ۟ۙ(106) لَّاNot تَرٰیyou will see فِیْهَاin it عِوَجًاany crookedness وَّلَاۤand not اَمْتًاany curve ۟ؕ(107) یَوْمَىِٕذٍOn that Day یَّتَّبِعُوْنَthey will follow الدَّاعِیَthe caller لَاno عِوَجَdeviation لَهٗ ۚfrom it وَخَشَعَتِAnd (will be) humbled الْاَصْوَاتُthe voices لِلرَّحْمٰنِfor the Most Gracious فَلَاso not تَسْمَعُyou will hear اِلَّاexcept هَمْسًاa faint sound ۟(108) یَوْمَىِٕذٍ(On) that Day لَّاnot تَنْفَعُwill benefit الشَّفَاعَةُthe intercession اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(to) whom اَذِنَhas given permission لَهُ[to him] الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious وَرَضِیَand He has accepted لَهٗfor him قَوْلًاa word ۟(109) یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat بَیْنَ(is) before them اَیْدِیْهِمْ(is) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ(is) behind them وَلَاwhile not یُحِیْطُوْنَthey encompass بِهٖit عِلْمًا(in) knowledge ۟(110) وَعَنَتِAnd (will be) humbled الْوُجُوْهُthe faces لِلْحَیِّbefore the Ever-Living الْقَیُّوْمِ ؕthe Self-Subsisting وَقَدْAnd verily خَابَwill have failed مَنْ(he) who حَمَلَcarried ظُلْمًاwrongdoing ۟(111) وَمَنْBut (he) who یَّعْمَلْdoes مِنَof الصّٰلِحٰتِthe righteous deeds وَهُوَwhile he مُؤْمِنٌ(is) a believer فَلَاthen not یَخٰفُhe will fear ظُلْمًاinjustice وَّلَاand not هَضْمًاdeprivation ۟(112) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe have sent it down قُرْاٰنًا(the) Quran عَرَبِیًّا(in) Arabic وَّصَرَّفْنَاand We have explained فِیْهِin it مِنَof الْوَعِیْدِthe warnings لَعَلَّهُمْthat they may یَتَّقُوْنَfear اَوْor یُحْدِثُit may cause لَهُمْ[for] them ذِكْرًاremembrance ۟(113) Surah 20. Taha - Page 319 - Juz 16 فَتَعٰلَیSo high (above all) اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الْمَلِكُthe King الْحَقُّ ۚthe True وَلَاAnd (do) not تَعْجَلْhasten بِالْقُرْاٰنِwith the Quran مِنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] یُّقْضٰۤیis completed اِلَیْكَto you وَحْیُهٗ ؗits revelation وَقُلْand say رَّبِّMy Lord زِدْنِیْIncrease me عِلْمًا(in) knowledge ۟(114) وَلَقَدْAnd verily عَهِدْنَاۤWe made a covenant اِلٰۤیwith اٰدَمَAdam مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore فَنَسِیَbut he forgot وَلَمْand not نَجِدْWe found لَهٗin him عَزْمًاdetermination ۟۠(115) وَاِذْAnd when قُلْنَاWe said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اسْجُدُوْاProstrate لِاٰدَمَto Adam فَسَجَدُوْۤاthen they prostrated اِلَّاۤexcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis اَبٰیhe refused ۟(116) فَقُلْنَاThen We said یٰۤاٰدَمُO Adam اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis عَدُوٌّ(is) an enemy لَّكَto you وَلِزَوْجِكَand to your wife فَلَاSo not یُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا(let) him drive you both مِنَfrom الْجَنَّةِParadise فَتَشْقٰیso (that) you would suffer ۟(117) اِنَّIndeed لَكَfor you اَلَّاthat not تَجُوْعَyou will be hungry فِیْهَاtherein وَلَاand not تَعْرٰیyou will be unclothed ۟ۙ(118) وَاَنَّكَAnd that you لَاnot تَظْمَؤُاwill suffer from thirst فِیْهَاtherein وَلَاand not تَضْحٰیexposed to the sun's heat ۟(119) فَوَسْوَسَThen whispered اِلَیْهِto him الشَّیْطٰنُShaitaan قَالَhe said یٰۤاٰدَمُO Adam هَلْShall اَدُلُّكَI direct you عَلٰیto شَجَرَةِ(the) tree الْخُلْدِ(of) the Eternity وَمُلْكٍand a kingdom لَّاnot یَبْلٰی(that will) deteriorate ۟(120) فَاَكَلَاThen they both ate مِنْهَاfrom it فَبَدَتْso became apparent لَهُمَاto them سَوْاٰتُهُمَاtheir shame وَطَفِقَاand they began یَخْصِفٰنِ(to) fasten عَلَیْهِمَاon themselves مِنْfrom وَّرَقِ(the) leaves الْجَنَّةِ ؗ(of) Paradise وَعَصٰۤیAnd Adam disobeyed اٰدَمُAnd Adam disobeyed رَبَّهٗhis Lord فَغَوٰیand erred ۪۟ۖ(121) ثُمَّThen اجْتَبٰهُchose him رَبُّهٗhis Lord فَتَابَand turned عَلَیْهِto him وَهَدٰیand guided (him) ۟(122) قَالَHe said اهْبِطَاGo down مِنْهَاfrom it جَمِیْعًاall بَعْضُكُمْsome of you لِبَعْضٍto others عَدُوٌّ ۚ(as) enemy فَاِمَّاThen if یَاْتِیَنَّكُمْcomes to you مِّنِّیْfrom Me هُدًی ۙ۬guidance فَمَنِthen whoever اتَّبَعَfollows هُدَایَMy guidance فَلَاthen not یَضِلُّhe will go astray وَلَاand not یَشْقٰیsuffer ۟(123) وَمَنْAnd whoever اَعْرَضَturns away عَنْfrom ذِكْرِیْMy remembrance فَاِنَّthen indeed لَهٗfor him مَعِیْشَةً(is) a life ضَنْكًاstraitened وَّنَحْشُرُهٗand We will gather him یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection اَعْمٰیblind ۟(124) قَالَHe will say رَبِّMy Lord لِمَWhy حَشَرْتَنِیْۤYou raised me اَعْمٰیblind وَقَدْwhile [verily] كُنْتُI had بَصِیْرًاsight ۟(125) Surah 20. Taha - Page 320 - Juz 16 قَالَHe will say كَذٰلِكَThus اَتَتْكَcame to you اٰیٰتُنَاOur Signs فَنَسِیْتَهَا ۚbut you forgot them وَكَذٰلِكَand thus الْیَوْمَtoday تُنْسٰیyou will be forgotten ۟(126) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نَجْزِیْWe recompense مَنْ(he) who اَسْرَفَtransgresses وَلَمْand not یُؤْمِنْbelieves بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Signs رَبِّهٖ ؕ(of) his Lord وَلَعَذَابُAnd surely (the) punishment الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter اَشَدُّ(is) more severe وَاَبْقٰیand more lasting ۟(127) اَفَلَمْThen has not یَهْدِit guided لَهُمْ[for] them كَمْhow many اَهْلَكْنَاWe (have) destroyed قَبْلَهُمْbefore them مِّنَof الْقُرُوْنِthe generations یَمْشُوْنَ(as) they walk فِیْin مَسٰكِنِهِمْ ؕtheir dwellings اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّاُولِیfor possessors النُّهٰی(of) intelligence ۟۠(128) وَلَوْلَاAnd if not كَلِمَةٌ(for) a Word سَبَقَتْ(that) preceded مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord لَكَانَsurely (would) have been لِزَامًاan obligation وَّاَجَلٌand a term مُّسَمًّیdetermined ۟ؕ(129) فَاصْبِرْSo be patient عَلٰیover مَاwhat یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say وَسَبِّحْand glorify بِحَمْدِwith praise رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord قَبْلَbefore طُلُوْعِ(the) rising الشَّمْسِ(of) the sun وَقَبْلَand before غُرُوْبِهَا ۚits setting وَمِنْand from اٰنَآئِ(the) hours الَّیْلِ(of) the night فَسَبِّحْand glorify وَاَطْرَافَ(at the) ends النَّهَارِ(of) the day لَعَلَّكَso that you may تَرْضٰیbe satisfied ۟(130) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَمُدَّنَّextend عَیْنَیْكَyour eyes اِلٰیtowards مَاwhat مَتَّعْنَاWe have given for enjoyment بِهٖۤ[with it] اَزْوَاجًاpairs مِّنْهُمْof them زَهْرَةَ(the) splendor الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا ۙ۬(of) the world لِنَفْتِنَهُمْthat We may test them فِیْهِ ؕin it وَرِزْقُAnd (the) provision رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord خَیْرٌ(is) better وَّاَبْقٰیand more lasting ۟(131) وَاْمُرْAnd enjoin اَهْلَكَ(on) your family بِالصَّلٰوةِthe prayer وَاصْطَبِرْand be steadfast عَلَیْهَا ؕtherein لَاNot نَسْـَٔلُكَWe ask you رِزْقًا ؕ(for) provision نَحْنُWe نَرْزُقُكَ ؕprovide (for) you وَالْعَاقِبَةُand the outcome لِلتَّقْوٰی(is) for the righteous[ness] ۟(132) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say لَوْلَاWhy not یَاْتِیْنَاhe brings us بِاٰیَةٍa sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord اَوَلَمْHas not تَاْتِهِمْcome to them بَیِّنَةُevidence مَا(of) what فِی(was) in الصُّحُفِthe Scriptures الْاُوْلٰیthe former ۟(133) وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّاۤWe اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ(had) destroyed them بِعَذَابٍwith a punishment مِّنْbefore him قَبْلِهٖbefore him لَقَالُوْاsurely they (would) have said رَبَّنَاOur Lord لَوْلَاۤwhy not اَرْسَلْتَYou sent اِلَیْنَاto us رَسُوْلًاa Messenger فَنَتَّبِعَso we (could) have followed اٰیٰتِكَYour signs مِنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] نَّذِلَّwe were humiliated وَنَخْزٰیand disgraced ۟(134) قُلْSay كُلٌّEach مُّتَرَبِّصٌ(is) waiting فَتَرَبَّصُوْا ۚso await فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَThen you will know مَنْwho اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الصِّرَاطِ(of) the way السَّوِیِّ[the] even وَمَنِand who اهْتَدٰیis guided ۟۠(135) Surah 20. Taha - Page 321 - Juz 16 Surah 21. Al-Anbya (The Prophets) V112 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ اِقْتَرَبَ(Has) approached لِلنَّاسِfor [the] mankind حِسَابُهُمْtheir account وَهُمْwhile they فِیْ(are) in غَفْلَةٍheedlessness مُّعْرِضُوْنَturning away ۟ۚ(1) مَاNot یَاْتِیْهِمْcomes to them مِّنْof ذِكْرٍa Reminder مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْtheir Lord مُّحْدَثٍanew اِلَّاexcept اسْتَمَعُوْهُthey listen to it وَهُمْwhile they یَلْعَبُوْنَ(are at) play ۟ۙ(2) لَاهِیَةًDistracted قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕtheir hearts وَاَسَرُّواAnd they conceal النَّجْوَی ۖۗthe private conversation الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْا ۖۗ[they] wronged هَلْIs هٰذَاۤthis اِلَّاexcept بَشَرٌa human being مِّثْلُكُمْ ۚlike you اَفَتَاْتُوْنَSo would you approach السِّحْرَthe magic وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تُبْصِرُوْنَsee (it) ۟(3) قٰلَHe said رَبِّیْMy Lord یَعْلَمُknows الْقَوْلَthe word فِیin السَّمَآءِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؗand the earth وَهُوَAnd He السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟(4) بَلْNay قَالُوْۤاthey say اَضْغَاثُMuddled اَحْلَامٍdreams بَلِnay افْتَرٰىهُhe (has) invented it بَلْnay هُوَhe شَاعِرٌ ۖۚ(is) a poet فَلْیَاْتِنَاSo let him bring us بِاٰیَةٍa sign كَمَاۤlike what اُرْسِلَwas sent الْاَوَّلُوْنَ(to) the former ۟(5) مَاۤNot اٰمَنَتْbelieved قَبْلَهُمْbefore them مِّنْany قَرْیَةٍtown اَهْلَكْنٰهَا ۚwhich We destroyed اَفَهُمْso will they یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(6) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent قَبْلَكَbefore you اِلَّاexcept رِجَالًاmen نُّوْحِیْۤWe revealed اِلَیْهِمْto them فَسْـَٔلُوْۤاSo ask اَهْلَ(the) people الذِّكْرِ(of) the Reminder اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(7) وَمَاAnd not جَعَلْنٰهُمْWe made them جَسَدًاbodies لَّاnot یَاْكُلُوْنَeating الطَّعَامَthe food وَمَاand not كَانُوْاthey were خٰلِدِیْنَimmortals ۟(8) ثُمَّThen صَدَقْنٰهُمُWe fulfilled (for) them الْوَعْدَthe promise فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُمْand We saved them وَمَنْand whom نَّشَآءُWe willed وَاَهْلَكْنَاand We destroyed الْمُسْرِفِیْنَthe transgressors ۟(9) لَقَدْIndeed اَنْزَلْنَاۤWe (have) sent down اِلَیْكُمْto you كِتٰبًاa Book فِیْهِin it ذِكْرُكُمْ ؕ(is) your mention اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟۠(10) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 322 - Juz 17 وَكَمْAnd how many قَصَمْنَاWe (have) shattered مِنْof قَرْیَةٍa town كَانَتْ(that) was ظَالِمَةًunjust وَّاَنْشَاْنَاand We produced بَعْدَهَاafter them قَوْمًاanother people اٰخَرِیْنَanother people ۟(11) فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَحَسُّوْاthey perceived بَاْسَنَاۤOur torment اِذَاbehold هُمْthey مِّنْهَاfrom it یَرْكُضُوْنَwere fleeing ۟ؕ(12) لَاFlee not تَرْكُضُوْاFlee not وَارْجِعُوْۤاbut return اِلٰیto مَاۤwhat اُتْرِفْتُمْyou were given luxury فِیْهِin it وَمَسٰكِنِكُمْand to your homes لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُسْـَٔلُوْنَbe questioned ۟(13) قَالُوْاThey said یٰوَیْلَنَاۤO woe to us اِنَّاIndeed, [we] كُنَّاwe were ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(14) فَمَاThen not زَالَتْceased تِّلْكَ[this] دَعْوٰىهُمْtheir cry حَتّٰیuntil جَعَلْنٰهُمْWe made them حَصِیْدًاreaped خٰمِدِیْنَextinct ۟(15) وَمَاAnd not خَلَقْنَاWe created السَّمَآءَthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand what بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between them لٰعِبِیْنَ(for) playing ۟(16) لَوْIf اَرَدْنَاۤWe intended اَنْthat نَّتَّخِذَWe take لَهْوًاa pastime لَّاتَّخَذْنٰهُsurely We (could have) taken it مِنْfrom لَّدُنَّاۤ ۖۗUs اِنْif كُنَّاWe were فٰعِلِیْنَdoers ۟(17) بَلْNay نَقْذِفُWe hurl بِالْحَقِّthe truth عَلَیagainst الْبَاطِلِ[the] falsehood فَیَدْمَغُهٗand it breaks its head فَاِذَاbehold هُوَit (is) زَاهِقٌ ؕvanishing وَلَكُمُAnd for you الْوَیْلُ(is) destruction مِمَّاfor what تَصِفُوْنَyou ascribe ۟(18) وَلَهٗAnd to Him (belongs) مَنْwhoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَمَنْAnd (those) who عِنْدَهٗ(are) near Him لَاnot یَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَthey are arrogant عَنْto عِبَادَتِهٖworship Him وَلَاand not یَسْتَحْسِرُوْنَthey tire ۟ۚ(19) یُسَبِّحُوْنَThey glorify (Him) الَّیْلَ[the] night وَالنَّهَارَand [the] day لَاnot یَفْتُرُوْنَthey slacken ۟(20) اَمِOr اتَّخَذُوْۤا(have) they taken اٰلِهَةًgods مِّنَfrom الْاَرْضِthe earth هُمْthey یُنْشِرُوْنَraise (the dead) ۟(21) لَوْIf كَانَ(there) were فِیْهِمَاۤin both of them اٰلِهَةٌgods اِلَّاbesides اللّٰهُAllah لَفَسَدَتَا ۚsurely they (would) have been ruined فَسُبْحٰنَSo glorified اللّٰهِ(is) Allah رَبِّLord الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne عَمَّا(above) what یَصِفُوْنَthey attribute ۟(22) لَاNot یُسْـَٔلُHe (can) be questioned عَمَّاabout what یَفْعَلُHe does وَهُمْbut they یُسْـَٔلُوْنَwill be questioned ۟(23) اَمِOr اتَّخَذُوْا(have) they taken مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اٰلِهَةً ؕgods قُلْSay هَاتُوْاBring بُرْهَانَكُمْ ۚyour proof هٰذَاThis ذِكْرُ(is) a Reminder مَنْ(for those) who مَّعِیَ(are) with me وَذِكْرُand a Reminder مَنْ(for those) who قَبْلِیْ ؕ(were) before me بَلْBut اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَ ۙknow الْحَقَّthe truth فَهُمْso they مُّعْرِضُوْنَ(are) averse ۟(24) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 323 - Juz 17 وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you مِنْany رَّسُوْلٍMessenger اِلَّاbut نُوْحِیْۤWe reveal(ed) اِلَیْهِto him اَنَّهٗthat [He] لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاۤexcept اَنَاMe فَاعْبُدُوْنِso worship Me ۟(25) وَقَالُواAnd they say اتَّخَذَHas taken الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious وَلَدًاa son سُبْحٰنَهٗ ؕGlorified is He بَلْNay عِبَادٌ(they are) slaves مُّكْرَمُوْنَhonored ۟ۙ(26) لَاNot یَسْبِقُوْنَهٗthey (can) precede Him بِالْقَوْلِin word وَهُمْand they بِاَمْرِهٖby His command یَعْمَلُوْنَact ۟(27) یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat بَیْنَ(is) before them اَیْدِیْهِمْ(is) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ(is) behind them وَلَاand not یَشْفَعُوْنَ ۙthey (can) intercede اِلَّاexcept لِمَنِfor whom ارْتَضٰیHe approves وَهُمْAnd they مِّنْfrom خَشْیَتِهٖfear of Him مُشْفِقُوْنَstand in awe ۟(28) وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّقُلْsays مِنْهُمْof them اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I am اِلٰهٌa god مِّنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him فَذٰلِكَThen that نَجْزِیْهِWe will recompense جَهَنَّمَ ؕ(with) Hell كَذٰلِكَThus نَجْزِیWe recompense الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟۠(29) اَوَلَمْDo not یَرَsee الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieved اَنَّthat السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth كَانَتَاwere رَتْقًاa joined entity فَفَتَقْنٰهُمَا ؕthen We parted them وَجَعَلْنَاand We made مِنَfrom الْمَآءِ[the] water كُلَّevery شَیْءٍliving thing حَیٍّ ؕliving thing اَفَلَاThen will not یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe ۟(30) وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We (have) placed فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth رَوَاسِیَfirmly set mountains اَنْlest تَمِیْدَit (should) shake بِهِمْ ۪with them وَجَعَلْنَاand We made فِیْهَاtherein فِجَاجًاbroad passes سُبُلًا(as) ways لَّعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَهْتَدُوْنَ(be) guided ۟(31) وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We made السَّمَآءَthe sky سَقْفًاa roof مَّحْفُوْظًا ۖۚprotected وَّهُمْBut they عَنْfrom اٰیٰتِهَاits Signs مُعْرِضُوْنَturn away ۟(32) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَcreated الَّیْلَthe night وَالنَّهَارَand the day وَالشَّمْسَand the sun وَالْقَمَرَ ؕand the moon كُلٌّeach فِیْin فَلَكٍan orbit یَّسْبَحُوْنَfloating ۟(33) وَمَاAnd not جَعَلْنَاWe made لِبَشَرٍfor any man مِّنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you الْخُلْدَ ؕ[the] immortality اَفَاۡىِٕنْso if مِّتَّyou die فَهُمُthen (would) they الْخٰلِدُوْنَlive forever ۟(34) كُلُّEvery نَفْسٍsoul ذَآىِٕقَةُ(will) taste الْمَوْتِ ؕ[the] death وَنَبْلُوْكُمْAnd We test you بِالشَّرِّwith [the] bad وَالْخَیْرِand [the] good فِتْنَةً ؕ(as) a trial وَاِلَیْنَاand to Us تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(35) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 324 - Juz 17 وَاِذَاAnd when رَاٰكَthey see you الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve اِنْnot یَّتَّخِذُوْنَكَthey take you اِلَّاexcept هُزُوًا ؕ(in) ridicule اَهٰذَاIs this الَّذِیْthe one who یَذْكُرُmentions اٰلِهَتَكُمْ ۚyour gods وَهُمْAnd they بِذِكْرِat (the) mention الرَّحْمٰنِ(of) the Most Gracious هُمْ[they] كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(36) خُلِقَIs created الْاِنْسَانُthe man مِنْof عَجَلٍ ؕhaste سَاُورِیْكُمْI will show you اٰیٰتِیْMy Signs فَلَاso (do) not تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنِask Me to hasten ۟(37) وَیَقُوْلُوْنَAnd they say مَتٰیWhen (will be fulfilled) هٰذَاthis الْوَعْدُpromise اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(38) لَوْIf یَعْلَمُknew الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved حِیْنَ(the) time لَا(when) not یَكُفُّوْنَthey will avert عَنْfrom وُّجُوْهِهِمُtheir faces النَّارَthe Fire وَلَاand not عَنْfrom ظُهُوْرِهِمْtheir backs وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟(39) بَلْNay تَاْتِیْهِمْit will come to them بَغْتَةًunexpectedly فَتَبْهَتُهُمْand bewilder them فَلَاthen not یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey will be able رَدَّهَاto repel it وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْظَرُوْنَwill be given respite ۟(40) وَلَقَدِAnd verily اسْتُهْزِئَwere mocked بِرُسُلٍMessengers مِّنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you فَحَاقَthen surrounded بِالَّذِیْنَthose who سَخِرُوْاmocked مِنْهُمْfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used بِهٖat it یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(to) mock ۟۠(41) قُلْSay مَنْWho یَّكْلَؤُكُمْ(can) protect you بِالَّیْلِin the night وَالنَّهَارِand the day مِنَfrom الرَّحْمٰنِ ؕthe Most Gracious بَلْYet هُمْthey عَنْfrom ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord مُّعْرِضُوْنَturn away ۟(42) اَمْOr لَهُمْhave they اٰلِهَةٌgods تَمْنَعُهُمْ(to) defend them مِّنْfrom دُوْنِنَا ؕUs لَاNot یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey are able نَصْرَ(to) help اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves وَلَاand not هُمْthey مِّنَّاfrom Us یُصْحَبُوْنَcan be protected ۟(43) بَلْNay مَتَّعْنَاWe gave provision هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(to) these وَاٰبَآءَهُمْand their fathers حَتّٰیuntil طَالَgrew long عَلَیْهِمُfor them الْعُمُرُ ؕthe life اَفَلَاThen do not یَرَوْنَthey see اَنَّاthat We نَاْتِیWe come الْاَرْضَ(to) the land نَنْقُصُهَاWe reduce it مِنْfrom اَطْرَافِهَا ؕits borders اَفَهُمُSo is (it) they الْغٰلِبُوْنَ(who will be) overcoming ۟(44) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 325 - Juz 17 قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اُنْذِرُكُمْI warn you بِالْوَحْیِ ۖؗby the revelation وَلَاBut not یَسْمَعُhear الصُّمُّthe deaf الدُّعَآءَthe call اِذَاwhen مَاwhen یُنْذَرُوْنَthey are warned ۟(45) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if مَّسَّتْهُمْtouches them نَفْحَةٌa whiff مِّنْof عَذَابِ(the) punishment رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord لَیَقُوْلُنَّsurely they will say یٰوَیْلَنَاۤO woe to us اِنَّاIndeed, we كُنَّا[we] were ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(46) وَنَضَعُAnd We set الْمَوَازِیْنَthe scales الْقِسْطَ(of) the justice لِیَوْمِfor (the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فَلَاso not تُظْلَمُwill be wronged نَفْسٌany soul شَیْـًٔا ؕ(in) anything وَاِنْAnd if كَانَ(there) be مِثْقَالَweight حَبَّةٍ(of) a seed مِّنْof خَرْدَلٍa mustard اَتَیْنَاWe will bring بِهَا ؕ[with] it وَكَفٰیAnd sufficient بِنَا(are) We حٰسِبِیْنَ(as) Reckoners ۟(47) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسٰیMusa وَهٰرُوْنَand Harun الْفُرْقَانَthe Criterion وَضِیَآءًand a light وَّذِكْرًاand a Reminder لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَfor the righteous ۟ۙ(48) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَخْشَوْنَfear رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord بِالْغَیْبِin the unseen وَهُمْand they مِّنَof السَّاعَةِthe Hour مُشْفِقُوْنَ(are) afraid ۟(49) وَهٰذَاAnd this ذِكْرٌ(is) a Reminder مُّبٰرَكٌblessed اَنْزَلْنٰهُ ؕwhich We (have) revealed اَفَاَنْتُمْThen are you لَهٗof it مُنْكِرُوْنَrejecters ۟۠(50) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اٰتَیْنَاۤWe gave اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim رُشْدَهٗhis guidance مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَكُنَّاand We were بِهٖabout him عٰلِمِیْنَWell-Knowing ۟ۚ(51) اِذْWhen قَالَhe said لِاَبِیْهِto his father وَقَوْمِهٖand his people مَاWhat هٰذِهِ(are) these التَّمَاثِیْلُ[the] statues الَّتِیْۤwhich اَنْتُمْyou لَهَاto it عٰكِفُوْنَ(are) devoted ۟(52) قَالُوْاThey said وَجَدْنَاۤWe found اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers لَهَاof them عٰبِدِیْنَworshippers ۟(53) قَالَHe said لَقَدْVerily كُنْتُمْyou are اَنْتُمْ[you] وَاٰبَآؤُكُمْand your forefathers فِیْ(were) in ضَلٰلٍan error مُّبِیْنٍmanifest ۟(54) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَجِئْتَنَاHave you come to us بِالْحَقِّwith the truth اَمْor اَنْتَyou مِنَ(are) of اللّٰعِبِیْنَthose who play ۟(55) قَالَHe said بَلْNay رَّبُّكُمْyour Lord رَبُّ(is the) Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth الَّذِیْthe One Who فَطَرَهُنَّ ۖؗcreated them وَاَنَاand I am عَلٰیto ذٰلِكُمْthat مِّنَof الشّٰهِدِیْنَthe witnesses ۟(56) وَتَاللّٰهِAnd by Allah لَاَكِیْدَنَّsurely, I will plan اَصْنَامَكُمْ(against) your idols بَعْدَafter اَنْ[that] تُوَلُّوْاyou go away مُدْبِرِیْنَturning (your) backs ۟(57) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 326 - Juz 17 فَجَعَلَهُمْSo he made them جُذٰذًا(into) pieces اِلَّاexcept كَبِیْرًاa large (one) لَّهُمْof them لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may اِلَیْهِto it یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(58) قَالُوْاThey said مَنْWho فَعَلَ(has) done هٰذَاthis بِاٰلِهَتِنَاۤto our gods اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَمِنَ(is) of الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(59) قَالُوْاThey said سَمِعْنَاWe heard فَتًیa youth یَّذْكُرُهُمْmention them یُقَالُhe is called لَهٗۤhe is called اِبْرٰهِیْمُIbrahim ۟ؕ(60) قَالُوْاThey said فَاْتُوْاThen bring بِهٖhim عَلٰۤیbefore اَعْیُنِ(the) eyes النَّاسِ(of) the people لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَشْهَدُوْنَbear witness ۟(61) قَالُوْۤاThey said ءَاَنْتَHave you فَعَلْتَdone هٰذَاthis بِاٰلِهَتِنَاto our gods یٰۤاِبْرٰهِیْمُO Ibrahim ۟ؕ(62) قَالَHe said بَلْNay فَعَلَهٗ ۖۗ(some doer) did it كَبِیْرُهُمْTheir chief هٰذَا(is) this فَسْـَٔلُوْهُمْSo ask them اِنْif كَانُوْاthey (can) یَنْطِقُوْنَspeak ۟(63) فَرَجَعُوْۤاSo they returned اِلٰۤیto اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves فَقَالُوْۤاand said اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you اَنْتُمُ[you] الظّٰلِمُوْنَ(are) the wrongdoers ۟ۙ(64) ثُمَّThen نُكِسُوْاthey were turned عَلٰیon رُءُوْسِهِمْ ۚtheir heads لَقَدْVerily عَلِمْتَyou know مَاnot هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese یَنْطِقُوْنَ(can) speak ۟(65) قَالَHe said اَفَتَعْبُدُوْنَThen do you worship مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَا(does) not یَنْفَعُكُمْbenefit you شَیْـًٔا(in) anything وَّلَاand not یَضُرُّكُمْharms you ۟ؕ(66) اُفٍّUff لَّكُمْto you وَلِمَاand to what تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use reason ۟(67) قَالُوْاThey said حَرِّقُوْهُBurn him وَانْصُرُوْۤاand support اٰلِهَتَكُمْyour gods اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are فٰعِلِیْنَdoers ۟(68) قُلْنَاWe said یٰنَارُO fire كُوْنِیْBe بَرْدًاcool[ness] وَّسَلٰمًاand safe[ty] عَلٰۤیfor اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim ۟ۙ(69) وَاَرَادُوْاAnd they intended بِهٖfor him كَیْدًاa plan فَجَعَلْنٰهُمُbut We made them الْاَخْسَرِیْنَthe greatest losers ۟ۚ(70) وَنَجَّیْنٰهُAnd We delivered him وَلُوْطًاand Lut اِلَیto الْاَرْضِthe land الَّتِیْwhich بٰرَكْنَاWe (had) blessed فِیْهَا[in it] لِلْعٰلَمِیْنَfor the worlds ۟(71) وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We bestowed لَهٗۤon him اِسْحٰقَ ؕIsaac وَیَعْقُوْبَand Yaqub نَافِلَةً ؕ(in) addition وَكُلًّاand all جَعَلْنَاWe made صٰلِحِیْنَrighteous ۟(72) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 327 - Juz 17 وَجَعَلْنٰهُمْAnd We made them اَىِٕمَّةًleaders یَّهْدُوْنَthey guide بِاَمْرِنَاby Our Command وَاَوْحَیْنَاۤAnd We inspired اِلَیْهِمْto them فِعْلَ(the) doing الْخَیْرٰتِ(of) good deeds وَاِقَامَand establishment الصَّلٰوةِ(of) the prayer وَاِیْتَآءَand giving الزَّكٰوةِ ۚ(of) zakah وَكَانُوْاand they were لَنَاof Us عٰبِدِیْنَworshippers ۟ۚۙ(73) وَلُوْطًاAnd (to) Lut اٰتَیْنٰهُWe gave him حُكْمًاjudgment وَّعِلْمًاand knowledge وَّنَجَّیْنٰهُand We saved him مِنَfrom الْقَرْیَةِthe town الَّتِیْwhich كَانَتْwas تَّعْمَلُdoing الْخَبٰٓىِٕثَ ؕwicked deeds اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاwere قَوْمَa people سَوْءٍevil فٰسِقِیْنَdefiantly disobedient ۟ۙ(74) وَاَدْخَلْنٰهُAnd We admitted him فِیْinto رَحْمَتِنَا ؕOur Mercy اِنَّهٗIndeed, he مِنَ(was) of الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟۠(75) وَنُوْحًاAnd Nuh اِذْwhen نَادٰیhe called مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore فَاسْتَجَبْنَاso We responded لَهٗto him فَنَجَّیْنٰهُand We saved him وَاَهْلَهٗand his family مِنَfrom الْكَرْبِthe affliction الْعَظِیْمِ[the] great ۟ۚ(76) وَنَصَرْنٰهُAnd We helped him مِنَfrom الْقَوْمِthe people الَّذِیْنَwho كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَا ؕOur Signs اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاwere قَوْمَa people سَوْءٍevil فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْso We drowned them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟(77) وَدَاوٗدَAnd Dawud وَسُلَیْمٰنَand Sulaiman اِذْwhen یَحْكُمٰنِthey judged فِیconcerning الْحَرْثِthe field اِذْwhen نَفَشَتْpastured فِیْهِin it غَنَمُsheep الْقَوْمِ ۚ(of) a people وَكُنَّاand We were لِحُكْمِهِمْto their judgment شٰهِدِیْنَwitness ۟ۗۙ(78) فَفَهَّمْنٰهَاAnd We gave understanding of it سُلَیْمٰنَ ۚ(to) Sulaiman وَكُلًّاand (to) each اٰتَیْنَاWe gave حُكْمًاjudgment وَّعِلْمًا ؗand knowledge وَّسَخَّرْنَاAnd We subjected مَعَwith دَاوٗدَDawud الْجِبَالَthe mountains یُسَبِّحْنَ(to) glorify Our praises وَالطَّیْرَ ؕand the birds وَكُنَّاAnd We were فٰعِلِیْنَthe Doers ۟(79) وَعَلَّمْنٰهُAnd We taught him صَنْعَةَ(the) making لَبُوْسٍ(of) coats of armor لَّكُمْfor you لِتُحْصِنَكُمْto protect you مِّنْfrom بَاْسِكُمْ ۚyour battle فَهَلْThen will اَنْتُمْyou شٰكِرُوْنَ(be) grateful ۟(80) وَلِسُلَیْمٰنَAnd to Sulaiman الرِّیْحَthe wind عَاصِفَةًforcefully تَجْرِیْblowing بِاَمْرِهٖۤby his command اِلَیto الْاَرْضِthe land الَّتِیْwhich بٰرَكْنَاWe blessed فِیْهَا ؕ[in it] وَكُنَّاAnd We are بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عٰلِمِیْنَKnowers ۟(81) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 328 - Juz 17 وَمِنَAnd of الشَّیٰطِیْنِthe devils مَنْ(were some) who یَّغُوْصُوْنَwould dive لَهٗfor him وَیَعْمَلُوْنَand would do عَمَلًاwork دُوْنَother than ذٰلِكَ ۚthat وَكُنَّاAnd We were لَهُمْof them حٰفِظِیْنَGuardians ۟ۙ(82) وَاَیُّوْبَAnd Ayub اِذْwhen نَادٰیhe called رَبَّهٗۤ(to) his Lord اَنِّیْIndeed, [I] مَسَّنِیَhas touched me الضُّرُّthe adversity وَاَنْتَand You اَرْحَمُ(are) Most Merciful الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) the Merciful ۟ۚۖ(83) فَاسْتَجَبْنَاSo We responded لَهٗto him فَكَشَفْنَاand We removed مَاwhat بِهٖ(was) on him مِنْof ضُرٍّ(the) adversity وَّاٰتَیْنٰهُAnd We gave him اَهْلَهٗhis family وَمِثْلَهُمْand (the) like thereof مَّعَهُمْwith them رَحْمَةً(as) Mercy مِّنْfrom Ourselves عِنْدِنَاfrom Ourselves وَذِكْرٰیand a reminder لِلْعٰبِدِیْنَfor the worshippers ۟(84) وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَAnd Ishmael وَاِدْرِیْسَand Idris وَذَاand Dhul-Kifl الْكِفْلِ ؕand Dhul-Kifl كُلٌّall مِّنَ(were) of الصّٰبِرِیْنَthe patient ones ۟ۚۖ(85) وَاَدْخَلْنٰهُمْAnd We admitted them فِیْin رَحْمَتِنَا ؕOur Mercy اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they مِّنَ(were) of الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟(86) وَذَاAnd Dhun-Nun النُّوْنِAnd Dhun-Nun اِذْwhen ذَّهَبَhe went مُغَاضِبًا(while) angry فَظَنَّand thought اَنْthat لَّنْnever نَّقْدِرَWe would decree عَلَیْهِupon him فَنَادٰیThen he called فِیin الظُّلُمٰتِthe darkness(es) اَنْthat لَّاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْتَYou سُبْحٰنَكَ ۖۗGlory be to You اِنِّیْIndeed, [I] كُنْتُI am مِنَof الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۚۖ(87) فَاسْتَجَبْنَاSo We responded لَهٗ ۙto him وَنَجَّیْنٰهُand We saved him مِنَfrom الْغَمِّ ؕthe distress وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نُـجِیWe save الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers ۟(88) وَزَكَرِیَّاۤAnd Zakariya اِذْwhen نَادٰیhe called رَبَّهٗ(to) his Lord رَبِّMy Lord لَا(Do) not تَذَرْنِیْleave me فَرْدًاalone وَّاَنْتَwhile You خَیْرُ(are) [the] Best الْوٰرِثِیْنَ(of) the inheritors ۟ۚۖ(89) فَاسْتَجَبْنَاSo We responded لَهٗ ؗto him وَوَهَبْنَاand We bestowed لَهٗon him یَحْیٰیYahya وَاَصْلَحْنَاand We cured لَهٗfor him زَوْجَهٗ ؕhis wife اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاused (to) یُسٰرِعُوْنَhasten فِیin الْخَیْرٰتِgood deeds وَیَدْعُوْنَنَاand they supplicate to Us رَغَبًا(in) hope وَّرَهَبًا ؕand fear وَكَانُوْاand they were لَنَاto Us خٰشِعِیْنَhumbly submissive ۟(90) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 329 - Juz 17 وَالَّتِیْۤAnd she who اَحْصَنَتْguarded فَرْجَهَاher chastity فَنَفَخْنَاso We breathed فِیْهَاinto her مِنْof رُّوْحِنَاOur Spirit وَجَعَلْنٰهَاand We made her وَابْنَهَاۤand her son اٰیَةًa sign لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَfor the worlds ۟(91) اِنَّIndeed هٰذِهٖۤthis اُمَّتُكُمْ(is) your religion اُمَّةًreligion وَّاحِدَةً ۖؗone وَّاَنَاand I Am رَبُّكُمْyour Lord فَاعْبُدُوْنِso worship Me ۟(92) وَتَقَطَّعُوْۤاBut they cut off اَمْرَهُمْtheir affair بَیْنَهُمْ ؕamong themselves كُلٌّall اِلَیْنَاto Us رٰجِعُوْنَ(will) return ۟۠(93) فَمَنْThen whoever یَّعْمَلْdoes مِنَ[of] الصّٰلِحٰتِ[the] righteous deeds وَهُوَwhile he مُؤْمِنٌ(is) a believer فَلَاthen not كُفْرَانَ(will be) rejected لِسَعْیِهٖ ۚ[of] his effort وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, We لَهٗof it كٰتِبُوْنَ(are) Recorders ۟(94) وَحَرٰمٌAnd (there is) prohibition عَلٰیupon قَرْیَةٍa city اَهْلَكْنٰهَاۤwhich We have destroyed اَنَّهُمْthat they لَاnot یَرْجِعُوْنَwill return ۟(95) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen فُتِحَتْhas been opened یَاْجُوْجُ(for) the Yajuj وَمَاْجُوْجُand Majuj وَهُمْand they مِّنْfrom كُلِّevery حَدَبٍelevation یَّنْسِلُوْنَdescend ۟(96) وَاقْتَرَبَAnd has approached الْوَعْدُthe promise الْحَقُّ[the] true فَاِذَاthen behold هِیَ[it] شَاخِصَةٌ(are) staring اَبْصَارُ(the) eyes الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْا ؕdisbelieved یٰوَیْلَنَاO woe to us قَدْVerily كُنَّاwe had been فِیْin غَفْلَةٍheedlessness مِّنْof هٰذَاthis بَلْnay كُنَّاwe were ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(97) اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you وَمَاand what تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah حَصَبُ(are) firewood جَهَنَّمَ ؕ(of) Hell اَنْتُمْYou لَهَاto it وٰرِدُوْنَwill come ۟(98) لَوْIf كَانَwere هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese اٰلِهَةًgods مَّاnot وَرَدُوْهَا ؕthey (would) have come to it وَكُلٌّAnd all فِیْهَاtherein خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟(99) لَهُمْFor them فِیْهَاtherein زَفِیْرٌ(is) sighing وَّهُمْand they فِیْهَاtherein لَاnot یَسْمَعُوْنَwill hear ۟(100) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose سَبَقَتْhas gone forth لَهُمْfor them مِّنَّاfrom Us الْحُسْنٰۤی ۙthe good اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose عَنْهَاfrom it مُبْعَدُوْنَ(will be) removed far ۟ۙ(101) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 330 - Juz 17 لَاNot یَسْمَعُوْنَthey will hear حَسِیْسَهَا ۚ(the) slightest sound of it وَهُمْand they فِیْin مَاwhat اشْتَهَتْdesire اَنْفُسُهُمْtheir souls خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟ۚ(102) لَاNot یَحْزُنُهُمُwill grieve them الْفَزَعُthe terror الْاَكْبَرُ[the] greatest وَتَتَلَقّٰىهُمُand will meet them الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ ؕthe Angels هٰذَاThis یَوْمُكُمُ(is) your Day الَّذِیْwhich كُنْتُمْyou were تُوْعَدُوْنَpromised ۟(103) یَوْمَ(The) Day نَطْوِیWe will fold السَّمَآءَthe heaven كَطَیِّlike (the) folding السِّجِلِّ(of) a scroll لِلْكُتُبِ ؕfor records كَمَاAs بَدَاْنَاۤWe began اَوَّلَ(the) first خَلْقٍcreation نُّعِیْدُهٗ ؕWe will repeat it وَعْدًاa promise عَلَیْنَا ؕupon Us اِنَّاIndeed, We كُنَّاWe are فٰعِلِیْنَ(the) Doers ۟(104) وَلَقَدْAnd verily كَتَبْنَاWe have written فِیin الزَّبُوْرِthe Scripture مِنْafter بَعْدِafter الذِّكْرِthe mention اَنَّthat الْاَرْضَthe earth یَرِثُهَاwill inherit it عِبَادِیَMy slaves الصّٰلِحُوْنَthe righteous ۟(105) اِنَّIndeed فِیْin هٰذَاthis لَبَلٰغًاsurely is a Message لِّقَوْمٍfor a people عٰبِدِیْنَworshippers ۟ؕ(106) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنٰكَWe have sent you اِلَّاbut رَحْمَةً(as) a mercy لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَfor the worlds ۟(107) قُلْSay اِنَّمَاOnly یُوْحٰۤیit is revealed اِلَیَّto me اَنَّمَاۤthat اِلٰهُكُمْyour god اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌ ۚOne فَهَلْso will اَنْتُمْyou مُّسْلِمُوْنَsubmit (to Him) ۟(108) فَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّوْاthey turn away فَقُلْthen say اٰذَنْتُكُمْI (have) announced to you عَلٰیequally سَوَآءٍ ؕequally وَاِنْAnd not اَدْرِیْۤI know اَقَرِیْبٌwhether is near اَمْor بَعِیْدٌfar مَّاwhat تُوْعَدُوْنَyou are promised ۟(109) اِنَّهٗIndeed, He یَعْلَمُknows الْجَهْرَthe declared مِنَ[of] الْقَوْلِ[the] speech وَیَعْلَمُand He knows مَاwhat تَكْتُمُوْنَyou conceal ۟(110) وَاِنْAnd not اَدْرِیْI know لَعَلَّهٗperhaps it may be فِتْنَةٌa trial لَّكُمْfor you وَمَتَاعٌand an enjoyment اِلٰیfor حِیْنٍa time ۟(111) قٰلَHe said رَبِّMy Lord احْكُمْjudge بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth وَرَبُّنَاAnd our Lord الرَّحْمٰنُ(is) the Most Gracious الْمُسْتَعَانُthe One Whose help is sought عَلٰیagainst مَاwhat تَصِفُوْنَyou attribute ۟۠(112) Surah 21. Al-Anbya - Page 331 - Juz 17 Surah 22. Al-Haj (The Pilgrimage) V78 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind اتَّقُوْاFear رَبَّكُمْ ۚyour Lord اِنَّIndeed زَلْزَلَةَ(the) convulsion السَّاعَةِ(of) the Hour شَیْءٌ(is) a thing عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(1) یَوْمَ(The) Day تَرَوْنَهَاyou will see it تَذْهَلُwill forget كُلُّevery مُرْضِعَةٍnursing mother عَمَّاۤthat which اَرْضَعَتْshe was nursing وَتَضَعُand will deliver كُلُّevery ذَاتِpregnant woman حَمْلٍpregnant woman حَمْلَهَاher load وَتَرَیand you will see النَّاسَ[the] mankind سُكٰرٰیintoxicated وَمَاwhile not هُمْthey بِسُكٰرٰی(are) intoxicated وَلٰكِنَّbut عَذَابَ(the) punishment اللّٰهِ(of) Allah شَدِیْدٌ(will be) severe ۟(2) وَمِنَAnd among النَّاسِthe mankind مَنْ(is he) who یُّجَادِلُdisputes فِیconcerning اللّٰهِAllah بِغَیْرِwithout عِلْمٍknowledge وَّیَتَّبِعُand follows كُلَّevery شَیْطٰنٍdevil مَّرِیْدٍrebellious ۟ۙ(3) كُتِبَIt has been decreed عَلَیْهِfor him اَنَّهٗthat he مَنْwho تَوَلَّاهُbefriends him فَاَنَّهٗthen indeed, he یُضِلُّهٗwill misguide him وَیَهْدِیْهِand will guide him اِلٰیto عَذَابِ(the) punishment السَّعِیْرِ(of) the Blaze ۟(4) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind اِنْIf كُنْتُمْyou are فِیْin رَیْبٍdoubt مِّنَabout الْبَعْثِthe Resurrection فَاِنَّاthen indeed, We خَلَقْنٰكُمْWe created you مِّنْfrom تُرَابٍdust ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom نُّطْفَةٍa semen-drop ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom عَلَقَةٍa clinging substance ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom مُّضْغَةٍan embryonic lump مُّخَلَّقَةٍformed وَّغَیْرِand unformed مُخَلَّقَةٍand unformed لِّنُبَیِّنَthat We may make clear لَكُمْ ؕto you وَنُقِرُّAnd We cause to remain فِیin الْاَرْحَامِthe wombs مَاwhat نَشَآءُWe will اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّیappointed ثُمَّthen نُخْرِجُكُمْWe bring you out طِفْلًا(as) a child ثُمَّ[then] لِتَبْلُغُوْۤاthat you may reach اَشُدَّكُمْ ۚ[your] maturity وَمِنْكُمْAnd among you مَّنْ(is he) who یُّتَوَفّٰیdies وَمِنْكُمْand among you مَّنْ(is he) who یُّرَدُّis returned اِلٰۤیto اَرْذَلِthe most abject الْعُمُرِage لِكَیْلَاso that not یَعْلَمَhe knows مِنْafter بَعْدِafter عِلْمٍhaving known شَیْـًٔا ؕanything وَتَرَیAnd you see الْاَرْضَthe earth هَامِدَةًbarren فَاِذَاۤthen when اَنْزَلْنَاWe send down عَلَیْهَاon it الْمَآءَwater اهْتَزَّتْit gets stirred وَرَبَتْand it swells وَاَنْۢبَتَتْand grows مِنْof كُلِّevery زَوْجٍkind بَهِیْجٍbeautiful ۟(5) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 332 - Juz 17 ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّ(is) because اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe الْحَقُّ(is) the Truth وَاَنَّهٗAnd that He یُحْیِ[He] gives life الْمَوْتٰی(to) the dead وَاَنَّهٗand that He عَلٰی(is) over كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟ۙ(6) وَّاَنَّAnd that السَّاعَةَthe Hour اٰتِیَةٌwill come لَّا(there is) no رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهَا ۙabout it وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah یَبْعَثُwill resurrect مَنْ(those) who فِی(are) in الْقُبُوْرِthe graves ۟(7) وَمِنَAnd among النَّاسِmankind مَنْ(is he) who یُّجَادِلُdisputes فِیconcerning اللّٰهِAllah بِغَیْرِwithout عِلْمٍany knowledge وَّلَاand not هُدًیany guidance وَّلَاand not كِتٰبٍa Book مُّنِیْرٍenlightening ۟ۙ(8) ثَانِیَTwisting عِطْفِهٖhis neck لِیُضِلَّto mislead عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah لَهٗFor him فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world خِزْیٌ(is) disgrace وَّنُذِیْقُهٗand We will make him taste یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) Resurrection عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْحَرِیْقِ(of) the Burning Fire ۟(9) ذٰلِكَThat بِمَا(is) for what قَدَّمَتْhave sent forth یَدٰكَyour hands وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah لَیْسَis not بِظَلَّامٍunjust لِّلْعَبِیْدِto His slaves ۟۠(10) وَمِنَAnd among النَّاسِthe mankind مَنْ(is he) who یَّعْبُدُworships اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیon حَرْفٍ ۚan edge فَاِنْAnd if اَصَابَهٗbefalls him خَیْرُgood طْمَاَنَّhe is content بِهٖ ۚwith it وَاِنْand if اَصَابَتْهُbefalls him فِتْنَةُa trial نْقَلَبَhe turns عَلٰیon وَجْهِهٖ ۚ۫his face خَسِرَHe has lost الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةَ ؕand the Hereafter ذٰلِكَThat هُوَ[it] الْخُسْرَانُ(is) the loss الْمُبِیْنُclear ۟(11) یَدْعُوْاHe calls مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot یَضُرُّهٗharms him وَمَاand what لَاnot یَنْفَعُهٗ ؕbenefits him ذٰلِكَThat هُوَ[it] الضَّلٰلُ(is) the straying الْبَعِیْدُfar away ۟ۚ(12) یَدْعُوْاHe calls لَمَنْ(one) who ضَرُّهٗۤhis harm اَقْرَبُ(is) closer مِنْthan نَّفْعِهٖ ؕhis benefit لَبِئْسَSurely, an evil الْمَوْلٰیprotector وَلَبِئْسَand surely an evil الْعَشِیْرُfriend ۟(13) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُدْخِلُwill admit الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِthe righteous deeds جَنّٰتٍ(to) Gardens تَجْرِیْflow مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕthe rivers اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَفْعَلُdoes مَاwhat یُرِیْدُHe intends ۟(14) مَنْWhoever كَانَ[is] یَظُنُّthinks اَنْthat لَّنْnot یَّنْصُرَهُAllah will help him اللّٰهُAllah will help him فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِand the Hereafter فَلْیَمْدُدْthen let him extend بِسَبَبٍa rope اِلَیto السَّمَآءِthe sky ثُمَّthen لْیَقْطَعْlet him cut off فَلْیَنْظُرْthen let him see هَلْwhether یُذْهِبَنَّwill remove كَیْدُهٗhis plan مَاwhat یَغِیْظُenrages ۟(15) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 333 - Juz 17 وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe sent it down اٰیٰتٍ(as) clear Verses بَیِّنٰتٍ ۙ(as) clear Verses وَّاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah یَهْدِیْguides مَنْwhom یُّرِیْدُHe intends ۟(16) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاhave believed وَالَّذِیْنَand those who هَادُوْاwere Jews وَالصّٰبِـِٕیْنَand the Sabians وَالنَّصٰرٰیand the Christians وَالْمَجُوْسَand the Magians وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اَشْرَكُوْۤا ۖۗ(are) polytheists اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah یَفْصِلُwill judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them یَوْمَ(on) the Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیover كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing شَهِیْدٌ(is) a Witness ۟(17) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَ(to) Allah یَسْجُدُprostrates لَهٗto Him مَنْwhoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَنْand whoever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth وَالشَّمْسُand the sun وَالْقَمَرُand the moon وَالنُّجُوْمُand the stars وَالْجِبَالُand the mountains وَالشَّجَرُand the trees وَالدَّوَآبُّand the moving creatures وَكَثِیْرٌand many مِّنَof النَّاسِ ؕthe people وَكَثِیْرٌBut many حَقَّ(is) justly due عَلَیْهِon him الْعَذَابُ ؕthe punishment وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّهِنِAllah humiliates اللّٰهُAllah humiliates فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany مُّكْرِمٍ ؕbestower of honor اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَفْعَلُdoes مَاwhat یَشَآءُHe wills ۟(18) هٰذٰنِThese two خَصْمٰنِopponents اخْتَصَمُوْاdispute فِیْconcerning رَبِّهِمْ ؗtheir Lord فَالَّذِیْنَBut those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved قُطِّعَتْwill be cut out لَهُمْfor them ثِیَابٌgarments مِّنْof نَّارٍ ؕfire یُصَبُّWill be poured مِنْover فَوْقِover رُءُوْسِهِمُtheir heads الْحَمِیْمُ[the] scalding water ۟ۚ(19) یُصْهَرُWill be melted بِهٖwith it مَاwhat فِیْ(is) in بُطُوْنِهِمْtheir bellies وَالْجُلُوْدُand the skins ۟ؕ(20) وَلَهُمْAnd for them مَّقَامِعُ(are) hooked rods مِنْof حَدِیْدٍiron ۟(21) كُلَّمَاۤEvery time اَرَادُوْۤاthey want اَنْto یَّخْرُجُوْاcome out مِنْهَاfrom it مِنْfrom غَمٍّanguish اُعِیْدُوْاthey will be returned فِیْهَا ۗtherein وَذُوْقُوْاTaste عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْحَرِیْقِ(of) the Burning Fire ۟۠(22) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُدْخِلُwill admit الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِthe righteous deeds جَنّٰتٍ(to) Gardens تَجْرِیْflow مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers یُحَلَّوْنَThey will be adorned فِیْهَاtherein مِنْwith اَسَاوِرَbracelets مِنْof ذَهَبٍgold وَّلُؤْلُؤًا ؕand pearl وَلِبَاسُهُمْand their garments فِیْهَاtherein حَرِیْرٌ(will be of) silk ۟(23) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 334 - Juz 17 وَهُدُوْۤاAnd they were guided اِلَیto الطَّیِّبِthe good مِنَof الْقَوْلِ ۖۚthe speech وَهُدُوْۤاand they were guided اِلٰیto صِرَاطِ(the) path الْحَمِیْدِ(of) the Praiseworthy ۟(24) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved وَیَصُدُّوْنَand hinder عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَالْمَسْجِدِand Al-Masjid Al-Haraam الْحَرَامِand Al-Masjid Al-Haraam الَّذِیْwhich جَعَلْنٰهُWe made it لِلنَّاسِfor the mankind سَوَآءَequal لْعَاكِفُ(are) the resident فِیْهِtherein وَالْبَادِ ؕand the visitor وَمَنْand whoever یُّرِدْintends فِیْهِtherein بِاِلْحَادٍof deviation بِظُلْمٍ(or) wrongdoing نُّذِقْهُWe will make him taste مِنْof عَذَابٍa punishment اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟۠(25) وَاِذْAnd when بَوَّاْنَاWe assigned لِاِبْرٰهِیْمَto Ibrahim مَكَانَ(the) site الْبَیْتِ(of) the House اَنْThat لَّا(do) not تُشْرِكْassociate بِیْwith Me شَیْـًٔاanything وَّطَهِّرْand purify بَیْتِیَMy House لِلطَّآىِٕفِیْنَfor those who circumambulate وَالْقَآىِٕمِیْنَand those who stand وَالرُّكَّعِand those who bow السُّجُوْدِ(and) those who prostrate ۟(26) وَاَذِّنْAnd proclaim فِیto النَّاسِ[the] mankind بِالْحَجِّ[of] the Pilgrimage یَاْتُوْكَthey will come to you رِجَالًا(on) foot وَّعَلٰیand on كُلِّevery ضَامِرٍlean camel یَّاْتِیْنَthey will come مِنْfrom كُلِّevery فَجٍّmountain highway عَمِیْقٍdistant ۟ۙ(27) لِّیَشْهَدُوْاThat they may witness مَنَافِعَbenefits لَهُمْfor them وَیَذْكُرُواand mention اسْمَ(the) name اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فِیْۤon اَیَّامٍdays مَّعْلُوْمٰتٍknown عَلٰیover مَاwhat رَزَقَهُمْHe has provided them مِّنْof بَهِیْمَةِ(the) beast الْاَنْعَامِ ۚ(of) cattle فَكُلُوْاSo eat مِنْهَاof them وَاَطْعِمُواand feed الْبَآىِٕسَthe miserable الْفَقِیْرَthe poor ۟ؗ(28) ثُمَّThen لْیَقْضُوْاlet them end تَفَثَهُمْtheir prescribed duties وَلْیُوْفُوْاand fulfil نُذُوْرَهُمْtheir vows وَلْیَطَّوَّفُوْاand circumambulate بِالْبَیْتِthe House الْعَتِیْقِ[the] Ancient ۟(29) ذٰلِكَ ۗThat وَمَنْand whoever یُّعَظِّمْhonors حُرُمٰتِ(the) sacred rites اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَهُوَthen it خَیْرٌ(is) best لَّهٗfor him عِنْدَnear رَبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord وَاُحِلَّتْAnd are made lawful لَكُمُto you الْاَنْعَامُthe cattle اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat یُتْلٰیis recited عَلَیْكُمْto you فَاجْتَنِبُواSo avoid الرِّجْسَthe abomination مِنَof الْاَوْثَانِthe idols وَاجْتَنِبُوْاand avoid قَوْلَ(the) word الزُّوْرِfalse ۟ۙ(30) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 335 - Juz 17 حُنَفَآءَBeing upright لِلّٰهِto Allah غَیْرَnot مُشْرِكِیْنَassociating partners بِهٖ ؕwith Him وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّشْرِكْassociates partners بِاللّٰهِwith Allah فَكَاَنَّمَاthen (it is) as though خَرَّhe had fallen مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky فَتَخْطَفُهُand (had) snatched him الطَّیْرُthe birds اَوْor تَهْوِیْhad blown بِهِhim الرِّیْحُthe wind فِیْto مَكَانٍa place سَحِیْقٍfar off ۟(31) ذٰلِكَ ۗThat وَمَنْand whoever یُّعَظِّمْhonors شَعَآىِٕرَ(the) Symbols اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَاِنَّهَاthen indeed, it مِنْ(is) from تَقْوَی(the) piety الْقُلُوْبِ(of) the hearts ۟(32) لَكُمْFor you فِیْهَاtherein مَنَافِعُ(are) benefits اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّیappointed ثُمَّthen مَحِلُّهَاۤtheir place of sacrifice اِلَی(is) at الْبَیْتِthe House الْعَتِیْقِthe Ancient ۟۠(33) وَلِكُلِّAnd for every اُمَّةٍnation جَعَلْنَاWe have appointed مَنْسَكًاa rite لِّیَذْكُرُواthat they may mention اسْمَ(the) name اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلٰیover مَاwhat رَزَقَهُمْHe (has) provided them مِّنْof بَهِیْمَةِ(the) beast الْاَنْعَامِ ؕ(of) cattle فَاِلٰهُكُمْAnd your God اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌOne فَلَهٗۤso to Him اَسْلِمُوْا ؕsubmit وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الْمُخْبِتِیْنَ(to) the humble ones ۟ۙ(34) الَّذِیْنَThose اِذَاwhen ذُكِرَis mentioned اللّٰهُAllah وَجِلَتْfear قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts وَالصّٰبِرِیْنَand those who are patient عَلٰیover مَاۤwhatever اَصَابَهُمْhas afflicted them وَالْمُقِیْمِیand those who establish الصَّلٰوةِ ۙthe prayer وَمِمَّاand out of what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend ۟(35) وَالْبُدْنَAnd the camels and cattle جَعَلْنٰهَاWe have made them لَكُمْfor you مِّنْamong شَعَآىِٕرِ(the) Symbols اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاtherein خَیْرٌ ۖۗ(is) good فَاذْكُرُواSo mention اسْمَ(the) name اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَیْهَاover them صَوَآفَّ ۚ(when) lined up فَاِذَاand when وَجَبَتْare down جُنُوْبُهَاtheir sides فَكُلُوْاthen eat مِنْهَاfrom them وَاَطْعِمُواand feed الْقَانِعَthe needy who do not ask وَالْمُعْتَرَّ ؕand the needy who ask كَذٰلِكَThus سَخَّرْنٰهَاWe have subjected them لَكُمْto you لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَbe grateful ۟(36) لَنْWill not یَّنَالَreach اللّٰهَAllah لُحُوْمُهَاtheir meat وَلَاand not دِمَآؤُهَاtheir blood وَلٰكِنْbut یَّنَالُهُreaches Him التَّقْوٰیthe piety مِنْكُمْ ؕfrom you كَذٰلِكَThus سَخَّرَهَاHe subjected them لَكُمْto you لِتُكَبِّرُواso that you may magnify اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیfor مَاwhat هَدٰىكُمْ ؕHe has guided you وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(to) the good-doers ۟(37) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُدٰفِعُdefends عَنِdefends الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْا ؕbelieve اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlike كُلَّevery خَوَّانٍtreacherous كَفُوْرٍungrateful ۟۠(38) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 336 - Juz 17 اُذِنَPermission is given لِلَّذِیْنَto those who یُقٰتَلُوْنَare being fought بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they ظُلِمُوْا ؕwere wronged وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلٰیfor نَصْرِهِمْtheir victory لَقَدِیْرُ(is) surely Able ۟ۙ(39) لَّذِیْنَThose who اُخْرِجُوْاhave been evicted مِنْfrom دِیَارِهِمْtheir homes بِغَیْرِwithout حَقٍّright اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat یَّقُوْلُوْاthey said رَبُّنَاOur Lord اللّٰهُ ؕ(is) Allah وَلَوْلَاAnd if not دَفْعُAllah checks اللّٰهِAllah checks النَّاسَthe people بَعْضَهُمْsome of them بِبَعْضٍby others لَّهُدِّمَتْsurely (would) have been demolished صَوَامِعُmonasteries وَبِیَعٌand churches وَّصَلَوٰتٌand synagogues وَّمَسٰجِدُand masajid یُذْكَرُis mentioned فِیْهَاin it اسْمُ(the) name of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) name of Allah كَثِیْرًا ؕmuch وَلَیَنْصُرَنَّAnd surely Allah will help اللّٰهُAnd surely Allah will help مَنْ(those) who یَّنْصُرُهٗ ؕhelp Him اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَقَوِیٌّ(is) surely All-Strong عَزِیْزٌAll-Mighty ۟(40) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who اِنْif مَّكَّنّٰهُمْWe establish them فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land اَقَامُواthey establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَوُاand they give الزَّكٰوةَzakah وَاَمَرُوْاand they enjoin بِالْمَعْرُوْفِthe right وَنَهَوْاand forbid عَنِfrom الْمُنْكَرِ ؕthe wrong وَلِلّٰهِAnd for Allah عَاقِبَةُ(is the) end الْاُمُوْرِ(of) the matters ۟(41) وَاِنْAnd if یُّكَذِّبُوْكَthey deny you فَقَدْso verily كَذَّبَتْdenied قَبْلَهُمْbefore them قَوْمُ(the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّعَادٌand Aad وَّثَمُوْدُand Thamud ۟ۙ(42) وَقَوْمُAnd (the) people اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(of) Ibrahim وَقَوْمُand (the) people لُوْطٍ(of) Lut ۟ۙ(43) وَّاَصْحٰبُAnd the inhabitants مَدْیَنَ ۚ(of) Madyan وَكُذِّبَAnd Musa was denied مُوْسٰیAnd Musa was denied فَاَمْلَیْتُso I granted respite لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَto the disbelievers ثُمَّthen اَخَذْتُهُمْ ۚI seized them فَكَیْفَand how كَانَwas نَكِیْرِMy punishment ۟(44) فَكَاَیِّنْAnd how many مِّنْof قَرْیَةٍa township اَهْلَكْنٰهَاWe have destroyed it وَهِیَwhile it ظَالِمَةٌwas doing wrong فَهِیَso it خَاوِیَةٌfell عَلٰیon عُرُوْشِهَاits roofs وَبِئْرٍand well مُّعَطَّلَةٍabandoned وَّقَصْرٍand castle مَّشِیْدٍlofty ۟(45) اَفَلَمْSo have not یَسِیْرُوْاthey traveled فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land فَتَكُوْنَand is لَهُمْfor them قُلُوْبٌhearts یَّعْقِلُوْنَ(to) reason بِهَاۤwith it اَوْor اٰذَانٌears یَّسْمَعُوْنَ(to) hear بِهَا ۚwith it فَاِنَّهَاFor indeed, [it] لَاnot تَعْمَی(are) blinded الْاَبْصَارُthe eyes وَلٰكِنْbut تَعْمَی(are) blinded الْقُلُوْبُthe hearts الَّتِیْwhich فِی(are) in الصُّدُوْرِthe breasts ۟(46) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 337 - Juz 17 وَیَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَAnd they ask you to hasten بِالْعَذَابِthe punishment وَلَنْBut never will یُّخْلِفَfail/violate اللّٰهُAllah وَعْدَهٗ ؕ(in) His Promise وَاِنَّAnd indeed یَوْمًاa day عِنْدَwith رَبِّكَyour Lord كَاَلْفِ(is) like a thousand سَنَةٍyear(s) مِّمَّاof what تَعُدُّوْنَyou count ۟(47) وَكَاَیِّنْAnd how many مِّنْof قَرْیَةٍa township اَمْلَیْتُI gave respite لَهَاto it وَهِیَwhile it ظَالِمَةٌ(was) doing wrong ثُمَّThen اَخَذْتُهَا ۚI seized it وَاِلَیَّand to Me الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the destination ۟۠(48) قُلْSay یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنَاI am لَكُمْto you نَذِیْرٌa warner مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟ۚ(49) فَالَّذِیْنَSo those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds لَهُمْfor them مَّغْفِرَةٌ(is) forgiveness وَّرِزْقٌand a provision كَرِیْمٌnoble ۟(50) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who سَعَوْاstrove فِیْۤagainst اٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses مُعٰجِزِیْنَ(to) cause failure اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the Hellfire ۟(51) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you مِنْany رَّسُوْلٍMessenger وَّلَاand not نَبِیٍّa Prophet اِلَّاۤbut اِذَاwhen تَمَنّٰۤیhe recited اَلْقَیthrew الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan فِیْۤin اُمْنِیَّتِهٖ ۚhis recitation فَیَنْسَخُBut Allah abolishes اللّٰهُBut Allah abolishes مَاwhat یُلْقِیthrows الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan ثُمَّthen یُحْكِمُAllah will establish اللّٰهُAllah will establish اٰیٰتِهٖ ؕHis Verses وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟ۙ(52) لِّیَجْعَلَThat He may make مَاwhat یُلْقِیthe Shaitaan throws الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan throws فِتْنَةًa trial لِّلَّذِیْنَfor those فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts مَّرَضٌ(is) a disease وَّالْقَاسِیَةِand (are) hardened قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕtheir hearts وَاِنَّAnd indeed الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers لَفِیْ(are) surely, in شِقَاقٍschism بَعِیْدٍfar ۟ۙ(53) وَّلِیَعْلَمَAnd that may know الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواhave been given الْعِلْمَthe knowledge اَنَّهُthat it الْحَقُّ(is) the truth مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord فَیُؤْمِنُوْاand they believe بِهٖin it فَتُخْبِتَand may humbly submit لَهٗto it قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕtheir hearts وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَهَادِ(is) surely (the) Guide الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍa Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍStraight ۟(54) وَلَاAnd not یَزَالُwill cease الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve فِیْ(to be) in مِرْیَةٍdoubt مِّنْهُof it حَتّٰیuntil تَاْتِیَهُمُcomes to them السَّاعَةُthe Hour بَغْتَةًsuddenly اَوْor یَاْتِیَهُمْcomes to them عَذَابُ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Day عَقِیْمٍbarren ۟(55) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 338 - Juz 17 اَلْمُلْكُThe Sovereignty یَوْمَىِٕذٍ(on) that Day لِّلّٰهِ ؕ(will be) for Allah یَحْكُمُHe will judge بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them فَالَّذِیْنَSo those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds فِیْ(will be) in جَنّٰتِGardens النَّعِیْمِ(of) Delight ۟(56) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved وَكَذَّبُوْاand denied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(will be) a punishment مُّهِیْنٌhumiliating ۟۠(57) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who هَاجَرُوْاemigrated فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah ثُمَّthen قُتِلُوْۤاwere killed اَوْor مَاتُوْاdied لَیَرْزُقَنَّهُمُsurely, Allah will provide them اللّٰهُsurely, Allah will provide them رِزْقًاa provision حَسَنًا ؕgood وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَهُوَsurely, He خَیْرُ(is the) Best الرّٰزِقِیْنَ(of) the Providers ۟(58) لَیُدْخِلَنَّهُمْSurely, He will admit them مُّدْخَلًا(to) an entrance یَّرْضَوْنَهٗ ؕthey will be pleased (with) it وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَعَلِیْمٌsurely, (is) All-Knowing حَلِیْمٌMost Forbearing ۟(59) ذٰلِكَ ۚThat وَمَنْand whoever عَاقَبَhas retaliated بِمِثْلِwith the like مَا(of) that عُوْقِبَhe was made to suffer بِهٖby it ثُمَّthen بُغِیَhe was oppressed عَلَیْهِ[on him] لَیَنْصُرَنَّهُAllah will surely help him اللّٰهُ ؕAllah will surely help him اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَعَفُوٌّ(is) surely Oft-Pardoning غَفُوْرٌOft-Forgiving ۟(60) ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّ(is) because اللّٰهَAllah یُوْلِجُcauses to enter الَّیْلَthe night فِیin (to) النَّهَارِthe day وَیُوْلِجُand causes to enter النَّهَارَthe day فِیin (to) الَّیْلِthe night وَاَنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearer بَصِیْرٌAll-Seer ۟(61) ذٰلِكَThat (is) بِاَنَّbecause اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe الْحَقُّ(is) the Truth وَاَنَّand that مَاwhat یَدْعُوْنَthey invoke مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him هُوَit الْبَاطِلُ(is) the falsehood وَاَنَّAnd that اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe الْعَلِیُّ(is) the Most High الْكَبِیْرُthe Most Great ۟(62) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah اَنْزَلَsends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءً ؗwater فَتُصْبِحُthen becomes الْاَرْضُthe earth مُخْضَرَّةً ؕgreen اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَطِیْفٌ(is) surely Subtle خَبِیْرٌAll-Aware ۟ۚ(63) لَهٗFor Him مَا(is) whatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَهُوَsurely, He الْغَنِیُّ(is) Free of need الْحَمِیْدُthe Praiseworthy ۟۠(64) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 339 - Juz 17 اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah سَخَّرَ(has) subjected لَكُمْto you مَّاwhat فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth وَالْفُلْكَand the ships تَجْرِیْthat sail فِیthrough الْبَحْرِthe sea بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕby His Command وَیُمْسِكُAnd He withholds السَّمَآءَthe sky اَنْlest تَقَعَit falls عَلَیon الْاَرْضِthe earth اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِهٖ ؕby His permission اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِالنَّاسِto mankind لَرَءُوْفٌ(is) Full of Kindness رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(65) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَحْیَاكُمْ ؗgave you life ثُمَّthen یُمِیْتُكُمْHe will cause you to die ثُمَّthen یُحْیِیْكُمْ ؕHe will give you life (again) اِنَّIndeed الْاِنْسَانَman لَكَفُوْرٌ(is) surely ungrateful ۟(66) لِكُلِّFor every اُمَّةٍnation جَعَلْنَاWe have made مَنْسَكًاrite(s) هُمْthey نَاسِكُوْهُperform it فَلَاSo let them not dispute with you یُنَازِعُنَّكَSo let them not dispute with you فِیin الْاَمْرِthe matter وَادْعُbut invite (them) اِلٰیto رَبِّكَ ؕyour Lord اِنَّكَIndeed, you لَعَلٰی(are) surely on هُدًیguidance مُّسْتَقِیْمٍstraight ۟(67) وَاِنْAnd if جٰدَلُوْكَthey argue (with) you فَقُلِthen say اللّٰهُAllah اَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(68) اَللّٰهُAllah یَحْكُمُwill judge بَیْنَكُمْbetween you یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فِیْمَاconcerning what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) فِیْهِin it تَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(69) اَلَمْDo not تَعْلَمْyou know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows مَاwhat فِی(is) in السَّمَآءِthe heaven وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth اِنَّIndeed ذٰلِكَthat فِیْ(is) in كِتٰبٍ ؕa Record اِنَّindeed ذٰلِكَthat عَلَی(is) for اللّٰهِAllah یَسِیْرٌeasy ۟(70) وَیَعْبُدُوْنَAnd they worship مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah مَاwhat لَمْnot یُنَزِّلْHe (has) sent down بِهٖfor it سُلْطٰنًاany authority وَّمَاand what لَیْسَnot لَهُمْthey have بِهٖof it عِلْمٌ ؕany knowledge وَمَاAnd not لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَ(will be) for the wrongdoers مِنْany نَّصِیْرٍhelper ۟(71) وَاِذَاAnd when تُتْلٰیare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُنَاOur Verses بَیِّنٰتٍclear تَعْرِفُyou will recognize فِیْon وُجُوْهِ(the) faces الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُواdisbelieve الْمُنْكَرَ ؕthe denial یَكَادُوْنَThey almost یَسْطُوْنَattack بِالَّذِیْنَthose who یَتْلُوْنَrecite عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتِنَا ؕOur Verses قُلْSay اَفَاُنَبِّئُكُمْThen shall I inform you بِشَرٍّof worse مِّنْthan ذٰلِكُمْ ؕthat اَلنَّارُ ؕThe Fire وَعَدَهَاAllah (has) promised it اللّٰهُAllah (has) promised it الَّذِیْنَ(for) those who كَفَرُوْا ؕdisbelieve وَبِئْسَand wretched الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the destination ۟۠(72) Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 340 - Juz 17 یٰۤاَیُّهَاO mankind النَّاسُO mankind ضُرِبَIs set forth مَثَلٌan example فَاسْتَمِعُوْاso listen لَهٗ ؕto it اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose whom تَدْعُوْنَyou invoke مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah لَنْwill never یَّخْلُقُوْاcreate ذُبَابًاa fly وَّلَوِeven if اجْتَمَعُوْاthey gathered together لَهٗ ؕfor it وَاِنْAnd if یَّسْلُبْهُمُsnatched away from them الذُّبَابُthe fly شَیْـًٔاa thing لَّاnot یَسْتَنْقِذُوْهُthey (could) take it back مِنْهُ ؕfrom it ضَعُفَSo weak الطَّالِبُ(are) the seeker وَالْمَطْلُوْبُand the one who is sought ۟(73) مَاNot قَدَرُواthey (have) estimated اللّٰهَAllah حَقَّ(with) due قَدْرِهٖ ؕ[His] estimation اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَقَوِیٌّ(is) surely All-Strong عَزِیْزٌAll-Mighty ۟(74) اَللّٰهُAllah یَصْطَفِیْchooses مِنَfrom الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِthe Angels رُسُلًاMessengers وَّمِنَand from النَّاسِ ؕthe mankind اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearer بَصِیْرٌAll-Seer ۟ۚ(75) یَعْلَمُHe knows مَاwhat بَیْنَ(is) before them اَیْدِیْهِمْ(is) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ ؕ(is) after them وَاِلَیAnd to اللّٰهِAllah تُرْجَعُreturn الْاُمُوْرُall the matters ۟(76) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُواO you who believe ارْكَعُوْاBow وَاسْجُدُوْاand prostrate وَاعْبُدُوْاand worship رَبَّكُمْyour Lord وَافْعَلُواand do الْخَیْرَ[the] good لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُفْلِحُوْنَbe successful ۟(77) وَجَاهِدُوْاAnd strive فِیfor اللّٰهِAllah حَقَّ(with the) striving due (to) Him جِهَادِهٖ ؕ(with the) striving due (to) Him هُوَHe اجْتَبٰىكُمْ(has) chosen you وَمَاand not جَعَلَplaced عَلَیْكُمْupon you فِیin الدِّیْنِthe religion مِنْany حَرَجٍ ؕdifficulty مِلَّةَ(The) religion اَبِیْكُمْ(of) your father اِبْرٰهِیْمَ ؕIbrahim هُوَHe سَمّٰىكُمُnamed you الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ ۙ۬Muslims مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَفِیْand in هٰذَاthis لِیَكُوْنَthat may be الرَّسُوْلُthe Messenger شَهِیْدًاa witness عَلَیْكُمْover you وَتَكُوْنُوْاand you may be شُهَدَآءَwitnesses عَلَیon النَّاسِ ۖۚthe mankind فَاَقِیْمُواSo establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتُواand give الزَّكٰوةَzakah وَاعْتَصِمُوْاand hold fast بِاللّٰهِ ؕto Allah هُوَHe مَوْلٰىكُمْ ۚ(is) your Protector فَنِعْمَso an Excellent الْمَوْلٰی[the] Protector وَنِعْمَand an Excellent النَّصِیْرُ[the] Helper ۟۠(78) قَدْIndeed اَفْلَحَsuccessful الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ(are) the believers Surah 22. Al-Haj - Page 341 - Juz 17 Surah 23. Al-Muminun (The Believers) V118 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ ۟ۙ(1) الَّذِیْنَThose who هُمْ[they] فِیْduring صَلَاتِهِمْtheir prayers خٰشِعُوْنَ(are) humbly submissive ۟ۙ(2) وَالَّذِیْنَThose who هُمْ[they] عَنِfrom اللَّغْوِthe vain talk مُعْرِضُوْنَturn away ۟ۙ(3) وَالَّذِیْنَThose who هُمْ[they] لِلزَّكٰوةِof purification works فٰعِلُوْنَ(are) doers ۟ۙ(4) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who هُمْ[they] لِفُرُوْجِهِمْof their modesty حٰفِظُوْنَ(are) guardians ۟ۙ(5) اِلَّاExcept عَلٰۤیfrom اَزْوَاجِهِمْtheir spouses اَوْor مَاwhat مَلَكَتْpossess اَیْمَانُهُمْtheir right hands فَاِنَّهُمْthen indeed, they غَیْرُ(are) not مَلُوْمِیْنَblameworthy ۟ۚ(6) فَمَنِThen whoever ابْتَغٰیseeks وَرَآءَbeyond ذٰلِكَthat فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُ[they] الْعٰدُوْنَ(are) the transgressors ۟ۚ(7) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who هُمْ[they] لِاَمٰنٰتِهِمْof their trusts وَعَهْدِهِمْand their promise(s) رٰعُوْنَ(are) observers ۟ۙ(8) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who هُمْ[they] عَلٰیover صَلَوٰتِهِمْtheir prayers یُحَافِظُوْنَthey guard ۟ۘ(9) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose هُمُ[they] الْوٰرِثُوْنَ(are) the inheritors ۟ۙ(10) الَّذِیْنَWho یَرِثُوْنَwill inherit الْفِرْدَوْسَ ؕthe Paradise هُمْThey فِیْهَاtherein خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(11) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed خَلَقْنَاWe created الْاِنْسَانَthe humankind مِنْfrom سُلٰلَةٍan essence مِّنْof طِیْنٍclay ۟ۚ(12) ثُمَّThen جَعَلْنٰهُWe placed him نُطْفَةً(as) a semen-drop فِیْin قَرَارٍa resting place مَّكِیْنٍfirm ۪۟(13) ثُمَّThen خَلَقْنَاWe created النُّطْفَةَthe semen-drop عَلَقَةً(into) a clinging substance فَخَلَقْنَاthen We created الْعَلَقَةَthe clinging substance مُضْغَةً(into) an embryonic lump فَخَلَقْنَاthen We created الْمُضْغَةَthe embryonic lump عِظٰمًا(into) bones فَكَسَوْنَاthen We clothed الْعِظٰمَthe bones لَحْمًا ۗ(with) flesh ثُمَّthen اَنْشَاْنٰهُWe produce it خَلْقًا(as) a creation اٰخَرَ ؕanother فَتَبٰرَكَSo blessed is اللّٰهُAllah اَحْسَنُ(the) Best الْخٰلِقِیْنَ(of) the Creators ۟ؕ(14) ثُمَّThen اِنَّكُمْindeed, you بَعْدَafter ذٰلِكَthat لَمَیِّتُوْنَsurely (will) die ۟ؕ(15) ثُمَّThen اِنَّكُمْindeed, you یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection تُبْعَثُوْنَwill be resurrected ۟(16) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed خَلَقْنَاWe (have) created فَوْقَكُمْabove you سَبْعَseven طَرَآىِٕقَ ۖۗpaths وَمَاand not كُنَّاWe are عَنِof الْخَلْقِthe creation غٰفِلِیْنَunaware ۟(17) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 342 - Juz 18 وَاَنْزَلْنَاAnd We send down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater بِقَدَرٍin (due) measure فَاَسْكَنّٰهُthen We cause it to settle فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۖۗthe earth وَاِنَّاAnd indeed, We عَلٰیon ذَهَابٍtaking it away بِهٖtaking it away لَقٰدِرُوْنَsurely (are) Able ۟ۚ(18) فَاَنْشَاْنَاThen We produced لَكُمْfor you بِهٖby it جَنّٰتٍgardens مِّنْof date-palms نَّخِیْلٍof date-palms وَّاَعْنَابٍ ۘand grapevines لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاin it فَوَاكِهُ(are) fruits كَثِیْرَةٌabundant وَّمِنْهَاand from them تَاْكُلُوْنَyou eat ۟ۙ(19) وَشَجَرَةًAnd a tree تَخْرُجُ(that) springs forth مِنْfrom طُوْرِMount Sinai سَیْنَآءَMount Sinai تَنْۢبُتُ(which) produces بِالدُّهْنِoil وَصِبْغٍand a relish لِّلْاٰكِلِیْنَfor those who eat ۟(20) وَاِنَّAnd indeed لَكُمْfor you فِیin الْاَنْعَامِthe cattle لَعِبْرَةً ؕsurely, (is) a lesson نُسْقِیْكُمْWe give you drink مِّمَّاfrom what فِیْ(is) in بُطُوْنِهَاtheir bellies وَلَكُمْand for you فِیْهَاin them مَنَافِعُ(are) benefits كَثِیْرَةٌmany وَّمِنْهَاand of them تَاْكُلُوْنَyou eat ۟ۙ(21) وَعَلَیْهَاAnd on them وَعَلَیand on الْفُلْكِ[the] ships تُحْمَلُوْنَyou are carried ۟۠(22) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent نُوْحًاNuh اِلٰیto قَوْمِهٖhis people فَقَالَand he said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ(is) any اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him اَفَلَاThen will not تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear ۟(23) فَقَالَBut said الْمَلَؤُاthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people مَاThis is not هٰذَاۤThis is not اِلَّاbut بَشَرٌa man مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙlike you یُرِیْدُhe wishes اَنْto یَّتَفَضَّلَassert (his) superiority عَلَیْكُمْ ؕover you وَلَوْand if شَآءَAllah had willed اللّٰهُAllah had willed لَاَنْزَلَsurely He (would have) sent down مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۖۚAngels مَّاNot سَمِعْنَاwe heard بِهٰذَاof this فِیْۤfrom اٰبَآىِٕنَاour forefathers الْاَوَّلِیْنَour forefathers ۟ۚ(24) اِنْNot هُوَhe اِلَّا(is) but رَجُلٌۢa man بِهٖin him جِنَّةٌ(is) madness فَتَرَبَّصُوْاso wait بِهٖconcerning him حَتّٰیuntil حِیْنٍa time ۟(25) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord انْصُرْنِیْHelp me بِمَاbecause كَذَّبُوْنِthey deny me ۟(26) فَاَوْحَیْنَاۤSo We inspired اِلَیْهِto him اَنِThat اصْنَعِconstruct الْفُلْكَthe ship بِاَعْیُنِنَاunder Our eyes وَوَحْیِنَاand Our inspiration فَاِذَاthen when جَآءَcomes اَمْرُنَاOur Command وَفَارَand gushes forth التَّنُّوْرُ ۙthe oven فَاسْلُكْthen put فِیْهَاinto it مِنْof كُلٍّevery (kind) زَوْجَیْنِ(of) mates اثْنَیْنِtwo وَاَهْلَكَand your family اِلَّاexcept مَنْthose سَبَقَ(has) preceded عَلَیْهِagainst whom الْقَوْلُthe Word مِنْهُمْ ۚthereof وَلَاAnd (do) not تُخَاطِبْنِیْaddress Me فِیconcerning الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْا ۚwronged اِنَّهُمْindeed, they مُّغْرَقُوْنَ(are) the ones to be drowned ۟(27) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 343 - Juz 18 فَاِذَاAnd when اسْتَوَیْتَyou (have) boarded اَنْتَyou وَمَنْand whoever مَّعَكَ(is) with you عَلَی[on] الْفُلْكِthe ship فَقُلِthen say الْحَمْدُPraise لِلّٰهِ(be) to Allah الَّذِیْWho نَجّٰىنَا(has) saved us مِنَfrom الْقَوْمِthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(28) وَقُلْAnd say رَّبِّMy Lord اَنْزِلْنِیْcause me to land مُنْزَلًا(at) a landing place مُّبٰرَكًاblessed وَّاَنْتَand You خَیْرُ(are) the Best الْمُنْزِلِیْنَ(of) those who cause to land.' ۟(29) اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs وَّاِنْand indeed كُنَّاWe are لَمُبْتَلِیْنَsurely testing ۟(30) ثُمَّThen اَنْشَاْنَاWe produced مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them قَرْنًاa generation اٰخَرِیْنَanother ۟ۚ(31) فَاَرْسَلْنَاAnd We sent فِیْهِمْamong them رَسُوْلًاa Messenger مِّنْهُمْfrom themselves اَنِ[that] اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ(is) any اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him اَفَلَاThen will not تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear ۟۠(32) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلَاُthe chiefs مِنْof قَوْمِهِhis people الَّذِیْنَwho كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved وَكَذَّبُوْاand denied بِلِقَآءِ(the) meeting الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter وَاَتْرَفْنٰهُمْwhile We had given them luxury فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ۙ(of) the world مَاNot هٰذَاۤ(is) this اِلَّاbut بَشَرٌa man مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙlike you یَاْكُلُHe eats مِمَّاof what تَاْكُلُوْنَyou eat مِنْهُ[from it] وَیَشْرَبُand he drinks مِمَّاof what تَشْرَبُوْنَyou drink ۟(33) وَلَىِٕنْAnd surely if اَطَعْتُمْyou obey بَشَرًاa man مِّثْلَكُمْlike you اِنَّكُمْindeed, you اِذًاthen لَّخٰسِرُوْنَsurely (will be) losers ۟ۙ(34) اَیَعِدُكُمْDoes he promise you اَنَّكُمْthat you اِذَاwhen مِتُّمْyou are dead وَكُنْتُمْand you become تُرَابًاdust وَّعِظَامًاand bones اَنَّكُمْthat you مُّخْرَجُوْنَ(will be) brought forth ۟(35) هَیْهَاتَFar-(fetched) هَیْهَاتَfar-(fetched) لِمَاis what تُوْعَدُوْنَyou are promised ۟(36) اِنْNot هِیَit اِلَّا(is) but حَیَاتُنَاour life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world نَمُوْتُwe die وَنَحْیَاand we live وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِمَبْعُوْثِیْنَ(will be) resurrected ۟(37) اِنْNot هُوَ(is) he اِلَّاbut رَجُلُa man فْتَرٰیwho (has) invented عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie وَّمَاand not نَحْنُwe لَهٗ(in) him بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(are) believers ۟(38) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord انْصُرْنِیْHelp me بِمَاbecause كَذَّبُوْنِthey deny me ۟(39) قَالَHe said عَمَّاAfter a little while قَلِیْلٍAfter a little while لَّیُصْبِحُنَّsurely they will become نٰدِمِیْنَregretful ۟ۚ(40) فَاَخَذَتْهُمُSo seized them الصَّیْحَةُthe awful cry بِالْحَقِّin truth فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْand We made them غُثَآءً ۚ(as) rubbish of dead leaves فَبُعْدًاSo away لِّلْقَوْمِwith the people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(41) ثُمَّThen اَنْشَاْنَاWe produced مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them قُرُوْنًاa generation اٰخَرِیْنَanother ۟ؕ(42) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 344 - Juz 18 مَاNot تَسْبِقُcan precede مِنْany اُمَّةٍnation اَجَلَهَاits term وَمَاand not یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَthey (can) delay (it) ۟ؕ(43) ثُمَّThen اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent رُسُلَنَاOur Messengers تَتْرَا ؕ(in) succession كُلَّEvery time مَاEvery time جَآءَcame اُمَّةً(to) a nation رَّسُوْلُهَاits Messenger كَذَّبُوْهُthey denied him فَاَتْبَعْنَاso We made (them) follow بَعْضَهُمْsome of them بَعْضًاothers وَّجَعَلْنٰهُمْand We made them اَحَادِیْثَ ۚnarrations فَبُعْدًاSo away لِّقَوْمٍwith a people لَّاnot یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe ۟(44) ثُمَّThen اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مُوْسٰیMusa وَاَخَاهُand his brother هٰرُوْنَ ۙ۬Harun بِاٰیٰتِنَاwith Our Signs وَسُلْطٰنٍand an authority مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟ۙ(45) اِلٰیTo فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهٖand his chiefs فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاbut they behaved arrogantly وَكَانُوْاand they were قَوْمًاa people عَالِیْنَhaughty ۟ۚ(46) فَقَالُوْۤاThen they said اَنُؤْمِنُShall we believe لِبَشَرَیْنِ(in) two men مِثْلِنَاlike ourselves وَقَوْمُهُمَاwhile their people لَنَاfor us عٰبِدُوْنَ(are) slaves ۟ۚ(47) فَكَذَّبُوْهُمَاSo they denied them فَكَانُوْاand they became مِنَof الْمُهْلَكِیْنَthose who were destroyed ۟(48) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Scripture لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَهْتَدُوْنَbe guided ۟(49) وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We made ابْنَ(the) son مَرْیَمَ(of) Maryam وَاُمَّهٗۤand his mother اٰیَةًa Sign وَّاٰوَیْنٰهُمَاۤand We sheltered them اِلٰیto رَبْوَةٍa high ground ذَاتِof tranquility قَرَارٍof tranquility وَّمَعِیْنٍand water springs ۟۠(50) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO Messengers الرُّسُلُO Messengers كُلُوْاEat مِنَof الطَّیِّبٰتِthe good things وَاعْمَلُوْاand do صَالِحًا ؕrighteous (deeds) اِنِّیْIndeed, I Am بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do عَلِیْمٌAll-Knower ۟ؕ(51) وَاِنَّAnd indeed هٰذِهٖۤthis اُمَّتُكُمْyour religion اُمَّةً(is) religion وَّاحِدَةًone وَّاَنَاAnd I Am رَبُّكُمْyour Lord فَاتَّقُوْنِso fear Me ۟(52) فَتَقَطَّعُوْۤاBut they cut off اَمْرَهُمْtheir affair (of unity) بَیْنَهُمْbetween them زُبُرًا ؕ(into) sects كُلُّeach حِزْبٍۭfaction بِمَاin what لَدَیْهِمْthey have فَرِحُوْنَrejoicing ۟(53) فَذَرْهُمْSo leave them فِیْin غَمْرَتِهِمْtheir confusion حَتّٰیuntil حِیْنٍa time ۟(54) اَیَحْسَبُوْنَDo they think اَنَّمَاthat what نُمِدُّهُمْWe extend to them بِهٖ[with it] مِنْof مَّالٍwealth وَّبَنِیْنَand children ۟ۙ(55) نُسَارِعُWe hasten لَهُمْto them فِیin الْخَیْرٰتِ ؕthe good بَلْNay لَّاnot یَشْعُرُوْنَthey perceive ۟(56) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who هُمْ[they] مِّنْfrom خَشْیَةِ(the) fear رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord مُّشْفِقُوْنَ(are) cautious ۟ۙ(57) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those هُمْ[they] بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟ۙ(58) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those هُمْ[they] بِرَبِّهِمْwith their Lord لَا(do) not یُشْرِكُوْنَassociate partners ۟ۙ(59) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 345 - Juz 18 وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُؤْتُوْنَgive مَاۤwhat اٰتَوْاthey give وَّقُلُوْبُهُمْwhile their hearts وَجِلَةٌ(are) fearful اَنَّهُمْbecause they اِلٰیto رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord رٰجِعُوْنَ(will) return ۟ۙ(60) اُولٰٓىِٕكَ(It is) those یُسٰرِعُوْنَwho hasten فِیin الْخَیْرٰتِthe good (deeds) وَهُمْand they لَهَاin them سٰبِقُوْنَ(are) foremost ۟(61) وَلَاAnd not نُكَلِّفُWe burden نَفْسًاany soul اِلَّاexcept وُسْعَهَا(to) its capacity وَلَدَیْنَاand with Us كِتٰبٌ(is) a Record یَّنْطِقُ(which) speaks بِالْحَقِّwith the truth وَهُمْand they لَا(will) not یُظْلَمُوْنَbe wronged ۟(62) بَلْNay قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts فِیْ(are) in غَمْرَةٍconfusion مِّنْover هٰذَاthis وَلَهُمْand for them اَعْمَالٌ(are) deeds مِّنْbesides دُوْنِbesides ذٰلِكَthat هُمْthey لَهَاfor it عٰمِلُوْنَ(are) doers ۟(63) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاۤwhen اَخَذْنَاWe seize مُتْرَفِیْهِمْtheir affluent ones بِالْعَذَابِwith the punishment اِذَاbehold هُمْThey یَجْـَٔرُوْنَcry for help ۟ؕ(64) لَا(Do) not تَجْـَٔرُواcry for help الْیَوْمَ ۫today اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you مِّنَّاfrom Us لَاnot تُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟(65) قَدْVerily كَانَتْwere اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses تُتْلٰیrecited عَلَیْكُمْto you فَكُنْتُمْbut you used عَلٰۤی(to) on اَعْقَابِكُمْyour heels تَنْكِصُوْنَturn back ۟ۙ(66) مُسْتَكْبِرِیْنَ ۖۗ(Being) arrogant بِهٖabout it سٰمِرًاconversing by night تَهْجُرُوْنَspeaking evil ۟(67) اَفَلَمْThen, do not یَدَّبَّرُواthey ponder الْقَوْلَthe Word اَمْor جَآءَهُمْhas come to them مَّاwhat لَمْnot یَاْتِ(had) come اٰبَآءَهُمُ(to) their forefathers الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(to) their forefathers ۟ؗ(68) اَمْOr لَمْ(do) not یَعْرِفُوْاthey recognize رَسُوْلَهُمْtheir Messenger فَهُمْso they لَهٗ(are) rejecting him مُنْكِرُوْنَ(are) rejecting him ۟ؗ(69) اَمْOr یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say بِهٖIn him جِنَّةٌ ؕ(is) madness بَلْNay جَآءَهُمْhe brought them بِالْحَقِّthe truth وَاَكْثَرُهُمْbut most of them لِلْحَقِّto the truth كٰرِهُوْنَ(are) averse ۟(70) وَلَوِBut if اتَّبَعَ(had) followed الْحَقُّthe truth اَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires لَفَسَدَتِsurely (would) have been corrupted السَّمٰوٰتُthe heavens وَالْاَرْضُand the earth وَمَنْand whoever فِیْهِنَّ ؕ(is) therein بَلْNay اَتَیْنٰهُمْWe have brought them بِذِكْرِهِمْtheir reminder فَهُمْbut they عَنْfrom ذِكْرِهِمْtheir reminder مُّعْرِضُوْنَ(are) turning away ۟ؕ(71) اَمْOr تَسْـَٔلُهُمْyou ask them خَرْجًا(for) a payment فَخَرَاجُBut the payment رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord خَیْرٌ ۖۗ(is) best وَّهُوَand He خَیْرُ(is) the Best الرّٰزِقِیْنَ(of) the Providers ۟(72) وَاِنَّكَAnd indeed, you لَتَدْعُوْهُمْcertainly call them اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍ(the) Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍStraight ۟(73) وَاِنَّAnd indeed الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter عَنِfrom الصِّرَاطِthe path لَنٰكِبُوْنَsurely (are) deviating ۟(74) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 346 - Juz 18 وَلَوْAnd if رَحِمْنٰهُمْWe had mercy on them وَكَشَفْنَاand We removed مَاwhat بِهِمْ(was) on them مِّنْof ضُرٍّ(the) hardship لَّلَجُّوْاsurely they would persist فِیْin طُغْیَانِهِمْtheir transgression یَعْمَهُوْنَwandering blindly ۟(75) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اَخَذْنٰهُمْWe seized them بِالْعَذَابِwith the punishment فَمَاbut not اسْتَكَانُوْاthey submit لِرَبِّهِمْto their Lord وَمَاand not یَتَضَرَّعُوْنَthey supplicate humbly ۟(76) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen فَتَحْنَاWe opened عَلَیْهِمْfor them بَابًاa gate ذَاof a punishment عَذَابٍof a punishment شَدِیْدٍsevere اِذَاbehold هُمْThey فِیْهِin it مُبْلِسُوْنَ(will be in) despair ۟۠(77) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَنْشَاَproduced لَكُمُfor you السَّمْعَthe hearing وَالْاَبْصَارَand the sight وَالْاَفْـِٕدَةَ ؕand the feeling قَلِیْلًاlittle مَّا(is) what تَشْكُرُوْنَyou give thanks ۟(78) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who ذَرَاَكُمْmultiplied you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَاِلَیْهِand to Him تُحْشَرُوْنَyou will be gathered ۟(79) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُحْیٖgives life وَیُمِیْتُand causes death وَلَهُand for Him اخْتِلَافُ(is the) alternation الَّیْلِ(of) the night وَالنَّهَارِ ؕand the day اَفَلَاThen will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou reason ۟(80) بَلْNay قَالُوْاthey say مِثْلَ(the) like مَا(of) what قَالَsaid الْاَوَّلُوْنَthe former (people) ۟(81) قَالُوْۤاThey said ءَاِذَاWhat! When مِتْنَاwe are dead وَكُنَّاand become تُرَابًاdust وَّعِظَامًاand bones ءَاِنَّاwould we لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَsurely be resurrected ۟(82) لَقَدْVerily وُعِدْنَاwe have been promised نَحْنُ[we] وَاٰبَآؤُنَاand our forefathers هٰذَاthis مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore اِنْnot هٰذَاۤ(is) this اِلَّاۤbut اَسَاطِیْرُ(the) tales الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(83) قُلْSay لِّمَنِTo whom (belongs) الْاَرْضُthe earth وَمَنْand whoever فِیْهَاۤ(is) in it اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(84) سَیَقُوْلُوْنَThey will say لِلّٰهِ ؕTo Allah قُلْSay اَفَلَاThen will not تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou remember ۟(85) قُلْSay مَنْWho رَّبُّ(is the) Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the seven heavens السَّبْعِ(of) the seven heavens وَرَبُّand (the) Lord الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne الْعَظِیْمِthe Great ۟(86) سَیَقُوْلُوْنَThey will say لِلّٰهِ ؕAllah قُلْSay اَفَلَاThen will not تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear (Him) ۟(87) قُلْSay مَنْWho is (it) بِیَدِهٖin Whose Hand(s) مَلَكُوْتُ(is the) dominion كُلِّ(of) all شَیْءٍthings وَّهُوَand He یُجِیْرُprotects وَلَاand no (one) یُجَارُ(can) be protected عَلَیْهِagainst Him اِنْIf كُنْتُمْyou تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(88) سَیَقُوْلُوْنَThey will say لِلّٰهِ ؕAllah قُلْSay فَاَنّٰیThen how تُسْحَرُوْنَare you deluded ۟(89) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 347 - Juz 18 بَلْNay اَتَیْنٰهُمْWe (have) brought them بِالْحَقِّthe truth وَاِنَّهُمْbut indeed, they لَكٰذِبُوْنَsurely, (are) liars ۟(90) مَاNot اتَّخَذَAllah has taken اللّٰهُAllah has taken مِنْany وَّلَدٍson وَّمَاand not كَانَis مَعَهٗwith Him مِنْany اِلٰهٍgod اِذًاThen لَّذَهَبَsurely (would have) taken away كُلُّeach اِلٰهٍgod بِمَاwhat خَلَقَhe created وَلَعَلَاand surely would have overpowered بَعْضُهُمْsome of them عَلٰی[on] بَعْضٍ ؕothers سُبْحٰنَGlory be اللّٰهِ(to) Allah عَمَّاabove what یَصِفُوْنَthey attribute ۟ۙ(91) عٰلِمِKnower الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen وَالشَّهَادَةِand the witnessed فَتَعٰلٰیexalted is He عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate ۟۠(92) قُلْSay رَّبِّMy Lord اِمَّاIf تُرِیَنِّیْYou should show me مَاwhat یُوْعَدُوْنَthey are promised ۟ۙ(93) رَبِّMy Lord فَلَاthen (do) not تَجْعَلْنِیْplace me فِیamong الْقَوْمِthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(94) وَاِنَّاAnd indeed We عَلٰۤیon اَنْthat نُّرِیَكَWe show you مَاwhat نَعِدُهُمْWe have promised them لَقٰدِرُوْنَsurely able ۟(95) اِدْفَعْRepel بِالَّتِیْby that هِیَwhich اَحْسَنُ(is) best السَّیِّئَةَ ؕthe evil نَحْنُWe اَعْلَمُknow best بِمَاof what یَصِفُوْنَthey attribute ۟(96) وَقُلْAnd say رَّبِّMy Lord اَعُوْذُI seek refuge بِكَin You مِنْfrom هَمَزٰتِ(the) suggestions الشَّیٰطِیْنِ(of) the evil ones ۟ۙ(97) وَاَعُوْذُAnd I seek refuge بِكَin You رَبِّMy Lord اَنْLest یَّحْضُرُوْنِthey be present with me ۟(98) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen جَآءَcomes اَحَدَهُمُ(to) one of them الْمَوْتُthe death قَالَhe says رَبِّMy Lord ارْجِعُوْنِSend me back ۟ۙ(99) لَعَلِّیْۤThat I may اَعْمَلُdo صَالِحًاrighteous (deeds) فِیْمَاin what تَرَكْتُI left behind كَلَّا ؕNo اِنَّهَاIndeed, it كَلِمَةٌ(is) a word هُوَhe قَآىِٕلُهَا ؕspeaks it وَمِنْand before them وَّرَآىِٕهِمْand before them بَرْزَخٌ(is) a barrier اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day یُبْعَثُوْنَthey are resurrected ۟(100) فَاِذَاSo when نُفِخَis blown فِیin الصُّوْرِthe trumpet فَلَاۤthen not اَنْسَابَ(there) will be relationship بَیْنَهُمْamong them یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat Day وَّلَاand not یَتَسَآءَلُوْنَwill they ask each other ۟(101) فَمَنْThen (the one) whose ثَقُلَتْ(are) heavy مَوَازِیْنُهٗhis scales فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُthey الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ(are) the successful ۟(102) وَمَنْBut (the one) whose خَفَّتْ(are) light مَوَازِیْنُهٗhis scales فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those الَّذِیْنَthey [who] خَسِرُوْۤاhave lost اَنْفُسَهُمْtheir souls فِیْin جَهَنَّمَHell خٰلِدُوْنَthey (will) abide forever ۟ۚ(103) تَلْفَحُWill burn وُجُوْهَهُمُtheir faces النَّارُthe Fire وَهُمْand they فِیْهَاin it كٰلِحُوْنَ(will) grin with displaced lips ۟(104) Surah 23. Al-Muminun - Page 348 - Juz 18 اَلَمْWere not تَكُنْWere not اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses تُتْلٰیrecited عَلَیْكُمْto you فَكُنْتُمْand you used (to) بِهَاdeny them تُكَذِّبُوْنَdeny them ۟(105) قَالُوْاThey (will) say رَبَّنَاOur Lord غَلَبَتْOvercame عَلَیْنَا[on] us شِقْوَتُنَاour wretchedness وَكُنَّاand we were قَوْمًاa people ضَآلِّیْنَastray ۟(106) رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَخْرِجْنَاBring us out مِنْهَاfrom it فَاِنْthen if عُدْنَاwe return فَاِنَّاthen indeed, we ظٰلِمُوْنَ(would be) wrongdoers ۟(107) قَالَHe (will) say اخْسَـُٔوْاRemain despised فِیْهَاin it وَلَاand (do) not تُكَلِّمُوْنِspeak to Me ۟(108) اِنَّهٗIndeed كَانَ(there) was فَرِیْقٌa party مِّنْof عِبَادِیْMy slaves یَقُوْلُوْنَ(who) said رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اٰمَنَّاWe believe فَاغْفِرْso forgive لَنَاus وَارْحَمْنَاand have mercy on us وَاَنْتَand You خَیْرُ(are) best الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) those who show mercy ۟ۚۖ(109) فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوْهُمْBut you took them سِخْرِیًّا(in) mockery حَتّٰۤیuntil اَنْسَوْكُمْthey made you forget ذِكْرِیْMy remembrance وَكُنْتُمْand you used (to) مِّنْهُمْat them تَضْحَكُوْنَlaugh ۟(110) اِنِّیْIndeed, I جَزَیْتُهُمُhave rewarded them الْیَوْمَthis Day بِمَاbecause صَبَرُوْۤا ۙthey were patient اَنَّهُمْindeed, they هُمُ[they] الْفَآىِٕزُوْنَ(are) the successful ones ۟(111) قٰلَHe will say كَمْHow long لَبِثْتُمْdid you remain فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth عَدَدَ(in) number سِنِیْنَ(of) years ۟(112) قَالُوْاThey will say لَبِثْنَاWe remained یَوْمًاa day اَوْor بَعْضَa part یَوْمٍ(of) a day فَسْـَٔلِbut ask الْعَآدِّیْنَthose who keep count ۟(113) قٰلَHe will say اِنْNot لَّبِثْتُمْyou stayed اِلَّاbut قَلِیْلًاa little لَّوْif اَنَّكُمْonly you كُنْتُمْ[you] تَعْلَمُوْنَknew ۟(114) اَفَحَسِبْتُمْThen did you think اَنَّمَاthat خَلَقْنٰكُمْWe created you عَبَثًاuselessly وَّاَنَّكُمْand that you اِلَیْنَاto Us لَاnot تُرْجَعُوْنَwill be returned ۟(115) فَتَعٰلَیSo exalted is اللّٰهُAllah الْمَلِكُthe King الْحَقُّ ۚthe Truth لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHim رَبُّ(the) Lord الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne الْكَرِیْمِHonorable ۟(116) وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّدْعُinvokes مَعَwith اللّٰهِAllah اِلٰهًاgod اٰخَرَ ۙother لَاno بُرْهَانَproof لَهٗfor him بِهٖ ۙin it فَاِنَّمَاThen only حِسَابُهٗhis account عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord اِنَّهٗIndeed, [he] لَاnot یُفْلِحُwill succeed الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers ۟(117) وَقُلْAnd say رَّبِّMy Lord اغْفِرْForgive وَارْحَمْand have mercy وَاَنْتَand You خَیْرُ(are the) Best الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) those who show mercy ۟۠(118) Surah 23.
