Surah 38. Sad (The Letter "Saad") V88 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ صٓSaad وَالْقُرْاٰنِBy the Quran ذِیfull (of) reminder الذِّكْرِfull (of) reminder ۟ؕ(1) بَلِNay الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve فِیْ(are) in عِزَّةٍself-glory وَّشِقَاقٍand opposition ۟(2) كَمْHow many اَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them مِّنْof قَرْنٍa generation فَنَادَوْاthen they called out وَّلَاتَwhen there (was) no longer حِیْنَtime مَنَاصٍ(for) escape ۟(3) وَعَجِبُوْۤاAnd they wonder اَنْthat جَآءَهُمْhas come to them مُّنْذِرٌa warner مِّنْهُمْ ؗfrom themselves وَقَالَAnd said الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers هٰذَاThis سٰحِرٌ(is) a magician كَذَّابٌa liar ۟ۖۚ(4) اَجَعَلَHas he made الْاٰلِهَةَthe gods اِلٰهًا(into) one god وَّاحِدًا ۖۚ(into) one god اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَشَیْءٌ(is) certainly a thing عُجَابٌcurious ۟(5) وَانْطَلَقَAnd went forth الْمَلَاُthe chiefs مِنْهُمْamong them اَنِthat امْشُوْاContinue وَاصْبِرُوْاand be patient عَلٰۤیover اٰلِهَتِكُمْ ۖۚyour gods اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَشَیْءٌ(is) certainly a thing یُّرَادُintended ۟ۖۚ(6) مَاNot سَمِعْنَاwe heard بِهٰذَاof this فِیin الْمِلَّةِthe religion الْاٰخِرَةِ ۖۚthe last اِنْNot هٰذَاۤ(is) this اِلَّاbut اخْتِلَاقٌa fabrication ۟ۖۚ(7) ءَاُنْزِلَHas been revealed عَلَیْهِto him الذِّكْرُthe Message مِنْfrom بَیْنِنَا ؕamong us بَلْNay هُمْThey فِیْ(are) in شَكٍّdoubt مِّنْabout ذِكْرِیْ ۚMy Message بَلْNay لَّمَّاnot yet یَذُوْقُوْاthey have tasted عَذَابِMy punishment ۟ؕ(8) اَمْOr عِنْدَهُمْhave they خَزَآىِٕنُ(the) treasures رَحْمَةِ(of the) Mercy رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord الْعَزِیْزِthe All-Mighty الْوَهَّابِthe Bestower ۟ۚ(9) اَمْOr لَهُمْfor them مُّلْكُ(is the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا ۫(is) between them فَلْیَرْتَقُوْاThen let them ascend فِیby الْاَسْبَابِthe means ۟(10) جُنْدٌSoldiers مَّاthere هُنَالِكَthere مَهْزُوْمٌ(they will be) defeated مِّنَamong الْاَحْزَابِthe companies ۟(11) كَذَّبَتْDenied قَبْلَهُمْbefore them قَوْمُ(the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّعَادٌand Aad وَّفِرْعَوْنُand Firaun ذُو(the) owner الْاَوْتَادِ(of) the stakes ۟ۙ(12) وَثَمُوْدُAnd Thamud وَقَوْمُand (the) people لُوْطٍ(of) Lut وَّاَصْحٰبُand (the) companions لْـَٔیْكَةِ ؕ(of) the wood اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose الْاَحْزَابُ(were) the companies ۟(13) اِنْNot كُلٌّall (of them) اِلَّاbut كَذَّبَdenied الرُّسُلَthe Messengers فَحَقَّso (was) just عِقَابِMy penalty ۟۠(14) وَمَاAnd not یَنْظُرُawait هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese اِلَّاbut صَیْحَةًa shout وَّاحِدَةًone مَّاnot لَهَاfor it مِنْany فَوَاقٍdelay ۟(15) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say رَبَّنَاOur Lord عَجِّلْHasten لَّنَاfor us قِطَّنَاour share قَبْلَbefore یَوْمِ(the) Day الْحِسَابِ(of) the Account ۟(16) Surah 38. Sad - Page 453 - Juz 23 اِصْبِرْBe patient عَلٰیover مَاwhat یَقُوْلُوْنَthey say وَاذْكُرْand remember عَبْدَنَاOur slave دَاوٗدَDawood ذَاthe possessor of strength الْاَیْدِ ۚthe possessor of strength اِنَّهٗۤIndeed, he (was) اَوَّابٌrepeatedly turning ۟(17) اِنَّاIndeed, We سَخَّرْنَاsubjected الْجِبَالَthe mountains مَعَهٗwith him یُسَبِّحْنَglorifying بِالْعَشِیِّin the evening وَالْاِشْرَاقِand [the] sunrise ۟ۙ(18) وَالطَّیْرَAnd the birds مَحْشُوْرَةً ؕassembled كُلٌّall لَّهٗۤwith him اَوَّابٌrepeatedly turning ۟(19) وَشَدَدْنَاAnd We strengthened مُلْكَهٗhis kingdom وَاٰتَیْنٰهُand We gave him الْحِكْمَةَ[the] wisdom وَفَصْلَand decisive الْخِطَابِspeech ۟(20) وَهَلْAnd has (there) اَتٰىكَcome to you نَبَؤُا(the) news الْخَصْمِ ۘ(of) the litigants اِذْwhen تَسَوَّرُواthey climbed over the wall الْمِحْرَابَ(of) the chamber ۟ۙ(21) اِذْWhen دَخَلُوْاthey entered عَلٰیupon دَاوٗدَDawood فَفَزِعَand he was afraid مِنْهُمْof them قَالُوْاthey said لَا(Do) not تَخَفْ ۚfear خَصْمٰنِ(We are) two litigants بَغٰیhas wronged بَعْضُنَاone of us عَلٰیto بَعْضٍanother فَاحْكُمْso judge بَیْنَنَاbetween us بِالْحَقِّin truth وَلَاand (do) not تُشْطِطْbe unjust وَاهْدِنَاۤand guide us اِلٰیto سَوَآءِan even الصِّرَاطِ[the] path ۟(22) اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاۤthis اَخِیْ ۫(is) my brother لَهٗhe has تِسْعٌninety-nine وَّتِسْعُوْنَninety-nine نَعْجَةًewe(s) وَّلِیَwhile I have نَعْجَةٌewe وَّاحِدَةٌ ۫one فَقَالَso he said اَكْفِلْنِیْهَاEntrust her to me وَعَزَّنِیْand he overpowered me فِیin الْخِطَابِ[the] speech ۟(23) قَالَHe said لَقَدْCertainly ظَلَمَكَhe has wronged you بِسُؤَالِby demanding نَعْجَتِكَyour ewe اِلٰیto نِعَاجِهٖ ؕhis ewes وَاِنَّAnd indeed كَثِیْرًاmany مِّنَof الْخُلَطَآءِthe partners لَیَبْغِیْcertainly oppress بَعْضُهُمْsome of them عَلٰی[on] بَعْضٍanother اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds وَقَلِیْلٌand few مَّا(are) they هُمْ ؕ(are) they وَظَنَّAnd became certain دَاوٗدُDawood اَنَّمَاthat فَتَنّٰهُWe (had) tried him فَاسْتَغْفَرَand he asked forgiveness رَبَّهٗ(of) his Lord وَخَرَّand fell down رَاكِعًاbowing وَّاَنَابَand turned in repentance ۟(24) فَغَفَرْنَاSo We forgave لَهٗfor him ذٰلِكَ ؕthat وَاِنَّAnd indeed لَهٗfor him عِنْدَنَاwith Us لَزُلْفٰیsurely is a near access وَحُسْنَand a good مَاٰبٍplace of return ۟(25) یٰدَاوٗدُO Dawood اِنَّاIndeed, We جَعَلْنٰكَ[We] have made you خَلِیْفَةًa vicegerent فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth فَاحْكُمْso judge بَیْنَbetween النَّاسِ[the] men بِالْحَقِّin truth وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعِfollow الْهَوٰیthe desire فَیُضِلَّكَfor it will lead you astray عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَضِلُّوْنَgo astray عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment شَدِیْدٌۢsevere بِمَاbecause نَسُوْاthey forgot یَوْمَ(the) Day الْحِسَابِ(of) Account ۟۠(26) Surah 38. Sad - Page 454 - Juz 23 وَمَاAnd not خَلَقْنَاWe created السَّمَآءَthe heaven وَالْاَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between them بَاطِلًا ؕwithout purpose ذٰلِكَThat ظَنُّ(is the) assumption الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْا ۚdisbelieve فَوَیْلٌSo woe لِّلَّذِیْنَto those كَفَرُوْاwho disbelieve مِنَfrom النَّارِthe Fire ۟ؕ(27) اَمْOr نَجْعَلُshould We treat الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds كَالْمُفْسِدِیْنَlike those who spread corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؗthe earth اَمْOr نَجْعَلُshould We treat الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe pious كَالْفُجَّارِlike the wicked ۟(28) كِتٰبٌ(This is) a Book اَنْزَلْنٰهُWe have revealed it اِلَیْكَto you مُبٰرَكٌblessed لِّیَدَّبَّرُوْۤاthat they may ponder اٰیٰتِهٖ(over) its Verses وَلِیَتَذَكَّرَand may be reminded اُولُواthose of understanding الْاَلْبَابِthose of understanding ۟(29) وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We gave لِدَاوٗدَto Dawood سُلَیْمٰنَ ؕSulaiman نِعْمَan excellent الْعَبْدُ ؕslave اِنَّهٗۤIndeed, he اَوَّابٌ(was) one who repeatedly turned ۟ؕ(30) اِذْWhen عُرِضَwere displayed عَلَیْهِto him بِالْعَشِیِّin the afternoon الصّٰفِنٰتُexcellent bred steeds الْجِیَادُexcellent bred steeds ۟ۙ(31) فَقَالَAnd he said اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَحْبَبْتُ[I] preferred حُبَّ(the) love الْخَیْرِ(of) the good عَنْover ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance رَبِّیْ ۚ(of) my Lord حَتّٰیUntil تَوَارَتْthey were hidden بِالْحِجَابِin the veil ۟ۥ(32) رُدُّوْهَاReturn them عَلَیَّ ؕto me فَطَفِقَThen he began مَسْحًا(to) pass (his hand) بِالسُّوْقِover the legs وَالْاَعْنَاقِand the necks ۟(33) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly فَتَنَّاWe tried سُلَیْمٰنَSulaiman وَاَلْقَیْنَاand We placed عَلٰیon كُرْسِیِّهٖhis throne جَسَدًاa body ثُمَّthen اَنَابَhe turned ۟(34) قَالَHe said رَبِّO my Lord اغْفِرْForgive لِیْme وَهَبْand grant لِیْme مُلْكًاa kingdom لَّاnot یَنْۢبَغِیْ(will) belong لِاَحَدٍto anyone مِّنْafter me بَعْدِیْ ۚafter me اِنَّكَIndeed, You اَنْتَ[You] الْوَهَّابُ(are) the Bestower ۟(35) فَسَخَّرْنَاThen We subjected لَهُto him الرِّیْحَthe wind تَجْرِیْto flow بِاَمْرِهٖby his command رُخَآءًgently حَیْثُwherever اَصَابَhe directed ۟ۙ(36) وَالشَّیٰطِیْنَAnd the devils كُلَّevery بَنَّآءٍbuilder وَّغَوَّاصٍand diver ۟ۙ(37) وَّاٰخَرِیْنَAnd others مُقَرَّنِیْنَbound فِیin الْاَصْفَادِchains ۟(38) هٰذَاThis عَطَآؤُنَا(is) Our gift فَامْنُنْso grant اَوْor اَمْسِكْwithhold بِغَیْرِwithout حِسَابٍaccount ۟(39) وَاِنَّAnd indeed لَهٗfor him عِنْدَنَاwith Us لَزُلْفٰیsurely is a near access وَحُسْنَand a good مَاٰبٍplace of return ۟۠(40) وَاذْكُرْAnd remember عَبْدَنَاۤOur slave اَیُّوْبَ ۘAyyub اِذْwhen نَادٰیhe called رَبَّهٗۤhis Lord اَنِّیْThat [I] مَسَّنِیَ(has) touched me الشَّیْطٰنُShaitaan بِنُصْبٍwith distress وَّعَذَابٍand suffering ۟ؕ(41) اُرْكُضْStrike بِرِجْلِكَ ۚwith your foot هٰذَاThis مُغْتَسَلٌۢ(is a spring of) water to bathe بَارِدٌcool وَّشَرَابٌand a drink ۟(42) Surah 38. Sad - Page 455 - Juz 23 وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We granted لَهٗۤ[to] him اَهْلَهٗhis family وَمِثْلَهُمْand a like of them مَّعَهُمْwith them رَحْمَةًa Mercy مِّنَّاfrom Us وَذِكْرٰیand a Reminder لِاُولِیfor those of understanding الْاَلْبَابِfor those of understanding ۟(43) وَخُذْAnd take بِیَدِكَin your hand ضِغْثًاa bunch فَاضْرِبْand strike بِّهٖwith it وَلَاand (do) not تَحْنَثْ ؕbreak (your) oath اِنَّاIndeed, We وَجَدْنٰهُ[We] found him صَابِرًا ؕpatient نِّعْمَan excellent الْعَبْدُ ؕslave اِنَّهٗۤIndeed, he اَوَّابٌrepeatedly turned ۟(44) وَاذْكُرْAnd remember عِبٰدَنَاۤOur slaves اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim وَاِسْحٰقَand Isaac وَیَعْقُوْبَand Ayyub اُولِیpossessors الْاَیْدِیْ(of) strength وَالْاَبْصَارِand vision ۟(45) اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَخْلَصْنٰهُمْ[We] chose them بِخَالِصَةٍfor an exclusive (quality) ذِكْرَیremembrance الدَّارِ(of) the Home ۟ۚ(46) وَاِنَّهُمْAnd indeed, they عِنْدَنَاto Us لَمِنَ(are) from الْمُصْطَفَیْنَthe chosen ones الْاَخْیَارِthe best ۟ؕ(47) وَاذْكُرْAnd remember اِسْمٰعِیْلَIshmael وَالْیَسَعَand Elisha وَذَاand Dhul-kifl الْكِفْلِ ؕand Dhul-kifl وَكُلٌّand all مِّنَ(are) from الْاَخْیَارِthe best ۟ؕ(48) هٰذَاThis ذِكْرٌ ؕ(is) a Reminder وَاِنَّAnd indeed لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَfor the righteous لَحُسْنَsurely, is a good مَاٰبٍplace of return ۟ۙ(49) جَنّٰتِGardens عَدْنٍ(of) Eternity مُّفَتَّحَةً(will be) opened لَّهُمُfor them الْاَبْوَابُthe gates ۟ۚ(50) مُتَّكِـِٕیْنَReclining فِیْهَاtherein یَدْعُوْنَthey will call فِیْهَاtherein بِفَاكِهَةٍfor fruit كَثِیْرَةٍmany وَّشَرَابٍand drink ۟(51) وَعِنْدَهُمْAnd with them قٰصِرٰتُ(will be) companions of modest gaze الطَّرْفِ(will be) companions of modest gaze اَتْرَابٌwell-matched ۟(52) هٰذَاThis مَا(is) what تُوْعَدُوْنَyou are promised لِیَوْمِfor (the) Day الْحِسَابِ(of) Account ۟(53) اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَرِزْقُنَا(is) surely Our provision مَاnot لَهٗfor it مِنْany نَّفَادٍdepletion ۟ۚۖ(54) هٰذَا ؕThis (is so) وَاِنَّAnd indeed لِلطّٰغِیْنَfor the transgressors لَشَرَّsurely (is) an evil مَاٰبٍplace of return ۟ۙ(55) جَهَنَّمَ ۚHell یَصْلَوْنَهَا ۚthey will burn therein فَبِئْسَand wretched (is) الْمِهَادُthe resting place ۟(56) هٰذَا ۙThis (is so) فَلْیَذُوْقُوْهُThen let them taste it حَمِیْمٌboiling fluid وَّغَسَّاقٌand purulence ۟ۙ(57) وَّاٰخَرُAnd other مِنْof شَكْلِهٖۤits type اَزْوَاجٌ(of various) kinds ۟ؕ(58) هٰذَاThis فَوْجٌ(is) a company مُّقْتَحِمٌbursting مَّعَكُمْ ۚ(in) with you لَاNo مَرْحَبًاwelcome بِهِمْ ؕfor them اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they صَالُوا(will) burn النَّارِ(in) the Fire ۟(59) قَالُوْاThey say بَلْNay اَنْتُمْ ۫You لَاno مَرْحَبًاwelcome بِكُمْ ؕfor you اَنْتُمْYou قَدَّمْتُمُوْهُbrought this لَنَا ۚupon us فَبِئْسَSo wretched (is) الْقَرَارُthe settlement ۟(60) قَالُوْاThey will say رَبَّنَاOur Lord مَنْwhoever قَدَّمَbrought لَنَاupon us هٰذَاthis فَزِدْهُincrease for him عَذَابًاa punishment ضِعْفًاdouble فِیin النَّارِthe Fire ۟(61) Surah 38. Sad - Page 456 - Juz 23 وَقَالُوْاAnd they (will) say مَاWhat (is) لَنَاfor us لَاnot نَرٰیwe see رِجَالًاmen كُنَّاwe used to نَعُدُّهُمْcount them مِّنَamong الْاَشْرَارِthe bad ones ۟ؕ(62) اَتَّخَذْنٰهُمْDid we take them سِخْرِیًّا(in) ridicule اَمْor زَاغَتْhas turned away عَنْهُمُfrom them الْاَبْصَارُthe vision ۟(63) اِنَّIndeed ذٰلِكَthat لَحَقٌّ(is) surely (the) truth تَخَاصُمُ(the) quarreling اَهْلِ(of the) people النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟۠(64) قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنَاI am مُنْذِرٌ ۖۗa warner وَّمَاand not مِنْ(is there) any اِلٰهٍgod اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهُAllah الْوَاحِدُthe One الْقَهَّارُthe Irresistible ۟ۚ(65) رَبُّLord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between them الْعَزِیْزُthe All-Mighty الْغَفَّارُthe Oft-Forgiving ۟(66) قُلْSay هُوَIt (is) نَبَؤٌاa news عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟ۙ(67) اَنْتُمْYou عَنْهُfrom it مُعْرِضُوْنَturn away ۟(68) مَاNot كَانَis لِیَfor me مِنْany عِلْمٍknowledge بِالْمَلَاِ(of) the chiefs الْاَعْلٰۤیthe exalted اِذْwhen یَخْتَصِمُوْنَthey were disputing ۟(69) اِنْNot یُّوْحٰۤیhas been revealed اِلَیَّto me اِلَّاۤexcept اَنَّمَاۤthat only اَنَاI am نَذِیْرٌa warner مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(70) اِذْWhen قَالَsaid رَبُّكَyour Lord لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اِنِّیْIndeed, I Am خَالِقٌۢgoing to create بَشَرًاa human being مِّنْfrom طِیْنٍclay ۟(71) فَاِذَاSo when سَوَّیْتُهٗI have proportioned him وَنَفَخْتُand breathed فِیْهِinto him مِنْof رُّوْحِیْMy spirit فَقَعُوْاthen fall down لَهٗto him سٰجِدِیْنَprostrating ۟(72) فَسَجَدَSo prostrated الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels كُلُّهُمْall of them اَجْمَعُوْنَtogether ۟ۙ(73) اِلَّاۤExcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis اِسْتَكْبَرَhe was arrogant وَكَانَand became مِنَof الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(74) قَالَHe said یٰۤاِبْلِیْسُO Iblis مَاWhat مَنَعَكَprevented you اَنْthat تَسْجُدَyou (should) prostrate لِمَاto (one) whom خَلَقْتُI created بِیَدَیَّ ؕwith My Hands اَسْتَكْبَرْتَAre you arrogant اَمْor كُنْتَare you مِنَof الْعَالِیْنَthe exalted ones ۟(75) قَالَHe said اَنَاI am خَیْرٌbetter مِّنْهُ ؕthan him خَلَقْتَنِیْYou created me مِنْfrom نَّارٍfire وَّخَلَقْتَهٗand You created him مِنْfrom طِیْنٍclay ۟(76) قَالَHe said فَاخْرُجْThen get out مِنْهَاof it فَاِنَّكَfor indeed, you رَجِیْمٌ(are) accursed ۟ۚۖ(77) وَّاِنَّAnd indeed عَلَیْكَupon you لَعْنَتِیْۤ(is) My curse اِلٰیuntil یَوْمِ(the) Day الدِّیْنِ(of) Judgment ۟(78) قَالَHe said رَبِّMy Lord فَاَنْظِرْنِیْۤThen give me respite اِلٰیuntil یَوْمِ(the) Day یُبْعَثُوْنَthey are resurrected ۟(79) قَالَHe said فَاِنَّكَThen indeed, you مِنَ(are) of الْمُنْظَرِیْنَthose given respite ۟ۙ(80) اِلٰیUntil یَوْمِ(the) Day الْوَقْتِ(of) the time الْمَعْلُوْمِwell-known ۟(81) قَالَHe said فَبِعِزَّتِكَThen by Your might لَاُغْوِیَنَّهُمْI will surely mislead them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(82) اِلَّاExcept عِبَادَكَYour slaves مِنْهُمُamong them الْمُخْلَصِیْنَthe chosen ones ۟(83) Surah 38. Sad - Page 457 - Juz 23 قَالَHe said فَالْحَقُّ ؗThen (it is) the truth وَالْحَقَّand the truth اَقُوْلُI say ۟ۚ(84) لَاَمْلَـَٔنَّSurely I will fill جَهَنَّمَHell مِنْكَwith you وَمِمَّنْand those who تَبِعَكَfollow you مِنْهُمْamong them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟(85) قُلْSay مَاۤNot اَسْـَٔلُكُمْI ask of you عَلَیْهِfor it مِنْany اَجْرٍpayment وَّمَاۤand not اَنَاI am مِنَof الْمُتَكَلِّفِیْنَthe ones who pretend ۟(86) اِنْNot هُوَit (is) اِلَّاexcept ذِكْرٌa Reminder لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَto the worlds ۟(87) وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّAnd surely you will know نَبَاَهٗits information بَعْدَafter حِیْنٍa time ۟۠(88) Surah 39. Az-Zumar (The Troops) V75 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ تَنْزِیْلُ(The) revelation الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book مِنَ(is) from اللّٰهِAllah الْعَزِیْزِthe All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمِthe All-Wise ۟(1) اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَنْزَلْنَاۤ[We] have revealed اِلَیْكَto you الْكِتٰبَthe Book بِالْحَقِّin truth فَاعْبُدِso worship اللّٰهَAllah مُخْلِصًا(being) sincere لَّهُto Him الدِّیْنَ(in) the religion ۟ؕ(2) اَلَاUnquestionably لِلّٰهِfor Allah الدِّیْنُ(is) the religion الْخَالِصُ ؕthe pure وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اتَّخَذُوْاtake مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اَوْلِیَآءَ ۘprotectors مَاNot نَعْبُدُهُمْwe worship them اِلَّاexcept لِیُقَرِّبُوْنَاۤthat they may bring us near اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah زُلْفٰی ؕ(in) nearness اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَحْكُمُwill judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them فِیْin مَاwhat هُمْthey فِیْهِ[in it] یَخْتَلِفُوْنَ ؕ۬differ اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیْguide مَنْ(one) who هُوَ[he] كٰذِبٌ(is) a liar كَفَّارٌand a disbeliever ۟(3) لَوْIf اَرَادَAllah (had) intended اللّٰهُAllah (had) intended اَنْto یَّتَّخِذَtake وَلَدًاa son لَّاصْطَفٰیsurely, He (could) have chosen مِمَّاfrom what یَخْلُقُHe creates مَاwhatever یَشَآءُ ۙHe willed سُبْحٰنَهٗ ؕGlory be to Him هُوَHe اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الْوَاحِدُthe One الْقَهَّارُthe Irresistible ۟(4) خَلَقَHe created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth بِالْحَقِّ ۚin [the] truth یُكَوِّرُHe wraps الَّیْلَthe night عَلَیover النَّهَارِthe day وَیُكَوِّرُand wraps النَّهَارَthe day عَلَیover الَّیْلِthe night وَسَخَّرَAnd He subjected الشَّمْسَthe sun وَالْقَمَرَ ؕand the moon كُلٌّeach یَّجْرِیْrunning لِاَجَلٍfor a term مُّسَمًّی ؕspecified اَلَاUnquestionably هُوَHe الْعَزِیْزُ(is) the All-Mighty الْغَفَّارُthe Oft-Forgiving ۟(5) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 458 - Juz 23 خَلَقَكُمْHe created you مِّنْfrom نَّفْسٍa soul وَّاحِدَةٍsingle ثُمَّThen جَعَلَHe made مِنْهَاfrom it زَوْجَهَاits mate وَاَنْزَلَAnd He sent down لَكُمْfor you مِّنَof الْاَنْعَامِthe cattle ثَمٰنِیَةَeight اَزْوَاجٍ ؕkinds یَخْلُقُكُمْHe creates you فِیْin بُطُوْنِ(the) wombs اُمَّهٰتِكُمْ(of) your mothers خَلْقًاcreation مِّنْafter بَعْدِafter خَلْقٍcreation فِیْin ظُلُمٰتٍdarkness[es] ثَلٰثٍ ؕthree ذٰلِكُمُThat اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّكُمْyour Lord لَهُfor Him الْمُلْكُ ؕ(is) the dominion لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ۚHe فَاَنّٰیThen how تُصْرَفُوْنَare you turning away ۟(6) اِنْIf تَكْفُرُوْاyou disbelieve فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah غَنِیٌّ(is) free from need عَنْكُمْ ۫of you وَلَاAnd not یَرْضٰیHe likes لِعِبَادِهِin His slaves الْكُفْرَ ۚungratefulness وَاِنْAnd if تَشْكُرُوْاyou are grateful یَرْضَهُHe likes it لَكُمْ ؕin you وَلَاAnd not تَزِرُwill bear وَازِرَةٌbearer of burdens وِّزْرَ(the) burden اُخْرٰی ؕ(of) another ثُمَّThen اِلٰیto رَبِّكُمْyour Lord مَّرْجِعُكُمْ(is) your return فَیُنَبِّئُكُمْthen He will inform you بِمَاabout what كُنْتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُوْنَ ؕdo اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) the All-Knower بِذَاتِof what (is) in the breasts الصُّدُوْرِof what (is) in the breasts ۟(7) وَاِذَاAnd when مَسَّtouches الْاِنْسَانَ[the] man ضُرٌّadversity دَعَاhe calls رَبَّهٗhis Lord مُنِیْبًاturning اِلَیْهِto Him ثُمَّthen اِذَاwhen خَوَّلَهٗHe bestows on him نِعْمَةًa favor مِّنْهُfrom Himself نَسِیَhe forgets مَا(for) what كَانَhe used to call یَدْعُوْۤاhe used to call اِلَیْهِ[to] Him مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَجَعَلَand he sets up لِلّٰهِto Allah اَنْدَادًاrivals لِّیُضِلَّto mislead عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِهٖ ؕHis Path قُلْSay تَمَتَّعْEnjoy بِكُفْرِكَin your disbelief قَلِیْلًا ۖۗ(for) a little اِنَّكَIndeed, you مِنْ(are) of اَصْحٰبِ(the) companions النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟(8) اَمَّنْIs (one) who هُوَ[he] قَانِتٌ(is) devoutly obedient اٰنَآءَ(during) hours الَّیْلِ(of) the night سَاجِدًاprostrating وَّقَآىِٕمًاand standing یَّحْذَرُfearing الْاٰخِرَةَthe Hereafter وَیَرْجُوْاand hoping رَحْمَةَ(for the) Mercy رَبِّهٖ ؕ(of) his Lord قُلْSay هَلْAre یَسْتَوِیequal الَّذِیْنَthose who یَعْلَمُوْنَknow وَالَّذِیْنَand those who لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَ ؕknow اِنَّمَاOnly یَتَذَكَّرُwill take heed اُولُواthose of understanding الْاَلْبَابِthose of understanding ۟۠(9) قُلْSay یٰعِبَادِO My slaves الَّذِیْنَ[those] who اٰمَنُواbelieve اتَّقُوْاFear رَبَّكُمْ ؕyour Lord لِلَّذِیْنَFor those who اَحْسَنُوْاdo good فِیْin هٰذِهِthis الدُّنْیَاworld حَسَنَةٌ ؕ(is) good وَاَرْضُand the earth اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَاسِعَةٌ ؕ(is) spacious اِنَّمَاOnly یُوَفَّیwill be paid back in full الصّٰبِرُوْنَthe patient ones اَجْرَهُمْtheir reward بِغَیْرِwithout حِسَابٍaccount ۟(10) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 459 - Juz 23 قُلْSay اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اُمِرْتُ[I] am commanded اَنْthat اَعْبُدَI worship اللّٰهَAllah مُخْلِصًا(being) sincere لَّهُto Him الدِّیْنَ(in) the religion ۟ۙ(11) وَاُمِرْتُAnd I am commanded لِاَنْthat اَكُوْنَI be اَوَّلَ(the) first الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ(of) those who submit ۟(12) قُلْSay اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear اِنْif عَصَیْتُI disobey رَبِّیْmy Lord عَذَابَ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of) a Day عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟(13) قُلِSay اللّٰهَI worship Allah اَعْبُدُI worship Allah مُخْلِصًا(being) sincere لَّهٗto Him دِیْنِیْ(in) my religion ۟ۙ(14) فَاعْبُدُوْاSo worship مَاwhat شِئْتُمْyou will مِّنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖ ؕbesides Him قُلْSay اِنَّIndeed الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers الَّذِیْنَ(are) those who خَسِرُوْۤا(will) lose اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves وَاَهْلِیْهِمْand their families یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection اَلَاUnquestionably ذٰلِكَthat هُوَit الْخُسْرَانُ(is) the loss الْمُبِیْنُthe clear ۟(15) لَهُمْFor them مِّنْfrom فَوْقِهِمْabove them ظُلَلٌcoverings مِّنَof النَّارِthe Fire وَمِنْand from تَحْتِهِمْbelow them ظُلَلٌ ؕcoverings ذٰلِكَ(With) that یُخَوِّفُthreatens اللّٰهُAllah بِهٖ[with it] عِبَادَهٗ ؕHis slaves یٰعِبَادِO My slaves فَاتَّقُوْنِSo fear Me ۟(16) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اجْتَنَبُواavoid الطَّاغُوْتَthe false gods اَنْlest یَّعْبُدُوْهَاthey worship them وَاَنَابُوْۤاand turn اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah لَهُمُfor them الْبُشْرٰی ۚ(are) glad tidings فَبَشِّرْSo give glad tidings عِبَادِ(to) My slaves ۟ۙ(17) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَسْتَمِعُوْنَthey listen (to) الْقَوْلَthe Word فَیَتَّبِعُوْنَthen follow اَحْسَنَهٗ ؕthe best thereof اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose الَّذِیْنَ(are) they whom هَدٰىهُمُAllah has guided them اللّٰهُAllah has guided them وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those هُمْare [they] اُولُواthe men of understanding الْاَلْبَابِthe men of understanding ۟(18) اَفَمَنْThen, is (one) who حَقَّbecame due عَلَیْهِon him كَلِمَةُthe word الْعَذَابِ ؕ(of) the punishment اَفَاَنْتَThen can you تُنْقِذُsave مَنْ(one) who فِی(is) in النَّارِthe Fire ۟ۚ(19) لٰكِنِBut الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfear رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord لَهُمْfor them غُرَفٌ(are) lofty mansions مِّنْabove them فَوْقِهَاabove them غُرَفٌlofty mansions مَّبْنِیَّةٌ ۙbuilt high تَجْرِیْflow مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاbeneath it الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕ۬the rivers وَعْدَ(The) Promise اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah لَاNot یُخْلِفُAllah fails اللّٰهُAllah fails الْمِیْعَادَ(in His) promise ۟(20) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah اَنْزَلَsends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater فَسَلَكَهٗand He makes it flow یَنَابِیْعَ(as) springs فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth ثُمَّthen یُخْرِجُHe produces بِهٖwith it زَرْعًاcrops مُّخْتَلِفًا(of) different اَلْوَانُهٗcolors ثُمَّthen یَهِیْجُthey wither فَتَرٰىهُand you see it مُصْفَرًّاturn yellow ثُمَّthen یَجْعَلُهٗHe makes them حُطَامًا ؕdebris اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَذِكْرٰیsurely, (is) a reminder لِاُولِیfor those of understanding الْاَلْبَابِfor those of understanding ۟۠(21) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 460 - Juz 23 اَفَمَنْSo is (one for) whom شَرَحَAllah has expanded اللّٰهُAllah has expanded صَدْرَهٗhis breast لِلْاِسْلَامِfor Islam فَهُوَso he عَلٰی(is) upon نُوْرٍa light مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord فَوَیْلٌSo woe لِّلْقٰسِیَةِto (those are) hardened قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts مِّنْfrom ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance of Allah اللّٰهِ ؕ(the) remembrance of Allah اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose فِیْ(are) in ضَلٰلٍerror مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(22) اَللّٰهُAllah نَزَّلَhas revealed اَحْسَنَ(the) best الْحَدِیْثِ(of) [the] statement كِتٰبًاa Book مُّتَشَابِهًا(its parts) resembling each other مَّثَانِیَ ۖۗoft-repeated تَقْشَعِرُّShiver مِنْهُfrom it جُلُوْدُ(the) skins الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who یَخْشَوْنَfear رَبَّهُمْ ۚtheir Lord ثُمَّthen تَلِیْنُrelax جُلُوْدُهُمْtheir skins وَقُلُوْبُهُمْand their hearts اِلٰیat ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah ذٰلِكَThat هُدَی(is the) guidance اللّٰهِ(of) Allah یَهْدِیْHe guides بِهٖwith it مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّضْلِلِAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany هَادٍguide ۟(23) اَفَمَنْThen (is) he who یَّتَّقِیْwill shield بِوَجْهِهٖwith his face سُوْٓءَ(the) worst الْعَذَابِpunishment یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection وَقِیْلَAnd it will be said لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَto the wrongdoers ذُوْقُوْاTaste مَاwhat كُنْتُمْyou used to تَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(24) كَذَّبَDenied الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them فَاَتٰىهُمُso came upon them الْعَذَابُthe punishment مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere لَاnot یَشْعُرُوْنَthey perceive ۟(25) فَاَذَاقَهُمُSo Allah made them اللّٰهُSo Allah made them الْخِزْیَthe disgrace فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world وَلَعَذَابُand certainly (the) punishment الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter اَكْبَرُ ۘ(is) greater لَوْif كَانُوْاthey یَعْلَمُوْنَknew ۟(26) وَلَقَدْAnd indeed ضَرَبْنَاWe have set forth لِلنَّاسِfor people فِیْin هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنِQuran مِنْof كُلِّevery مَثَلٍexample لَّعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟ۚ(27) قُرْاٰنًاA Quran عَرَبِیًّا(in) Arabic غَیْرَwithout ذِیْany عِوَجٍcrookedness لَّعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَّقُوْنَ(become) righteous ۟(28) ضَرَبَAllah sets forth اللّٰهُAllah sets forth مَثَلًاan example رَّجُلًاa man فِیْهِabout him شُرَكَآءُpartners مُتَشٰكِسُوْنَquarreling وَرَجُلًاand a man سَلَمًا(belonging) exclusively لِّرَجُلٍ ؕto one man هَلْare یَسْتَوِیٰنِthey both equal مَثَلًا ؕ(in) comparison اَلْحَمْدُAll praise لِلّٰهِ ۚ(be) to Allah بَلْNay اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(29) اِنَّكَIndeed, you مَیِّتٌwill die وَّاِنَّهُمْand indeed, they مَّیِّتُوْنَ(will also) die ۟ؗ(30) ثُمَّThen اِنَّكُمْindeed you یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection عِنْدَbefore رَبِّكُمْyour Lord تَخْتَصِمُوْنَwill dispute ۟۠(31) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 461 - Juz 23 فَمَنْThen who اَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنْthan (one) who كَذَبَlies عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah وَكَذَّبَand denies بِالصِّدْقِthe truth اِذْwhen جَآءَهٗ ؕit comes to him اَلَیْسَIs (there) not فِیْin جَهَنَّمَHell مَثْوًیan abode لِّلْكٰفِرِیْنَfor the disbelievers ۟(32) وَالَّذِیْAnd the one who جَآءَbrought بِالصِّدْقِthe truth وَصَدَّقَand believed بِهٖۤin it اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose هُمُ[they] الْمُتَّقُوْنَ(are) the righteous ۟(33) لَهُمْFor them مَّا(is) what یَشَآءُوْنَthey wish عِنْدَwith رَبِّهِمْ ؕtheir Lord ذٰلِكَThat جَزٰٓؤُا(is the) reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟ۚۖ(34) لِیُكَفِّرَThat Allah will remove اللّٰهُThat Allah will remove عَنْهُمْfrom them اَسْوَاَ(the) worst الَّذِیْ(of) what عَمِلُوْاthey did وَیَجْزِیَهُمْand reward them اَجْرَهُمْtheir due بِاَحْسَنِfor (the) best الَّذِیْ(of) what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(35) اَلَیْسَIs not اللّٰهُAllah بِكَافٍsufficient عَبْدَهٗ ؕ(for) His slave وَیُخَوِّفُوْنَكَAnd they threaten you بِالَّذِیْنَwith those مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖ ؕbesides Him وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّضْلِلِAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany هَادٍguide ۟ۚ(36) وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّهْدِAllah guides اللّٰهُAllah guides فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany مُّضِلٍّ ؕmisleader اَلَیْسَIs not اللّٰهُAllah بِعَزِیْزٍAll-Mighty ذِیAll-Able of retribution انْتِقَامٍAll-Able of retribution ۟(37) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if سَاَلْتَهُمْyou ask them مَّنْwho خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth لَیَقُوْلُنَّSurely, they will say اللّٰهُ ؕAllah قُلْSay اَفَرَءَیْتُمْThen do you see مَّاwhat تَدْعُوْنَyou invoke مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah اِنْif اَرَادَنِیَAllah intended for me اللّٰهُAllah intended for me بِضُرٍّharm هَلْare هُنَّthey كٰشِفٰتُremovers ضُرِّهٖۤ(of) harm (from) Him اَوْor اَرَادَنِیْif He intended for me بِرَحْمَةٍmercy هَلْare هُنَّthey مُمْسِكٰتُwithholders رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕ(of) His mercy قُلْSay حَسْبِیَSufficient (is) Allah for me اللّٰهُ ؕSufficient (is) Allah for me عَلَیْهِupon Him یَتَوَكَّلُput trust الْمُتَوَكِّلُوْنَthose who trust ۟(38) قُلْSay یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْمَلُوْاWork عَلٰی(according) to مَكَانَتِكُمْyour position اِنِّیْindeed, I am عَامِلٌ ۚworking فَسَوْفَthen soon تَعْلَمُوْنَyou will know ۟ۙ(39) مَنْ(Upon) whom یَّاْتِیْهِwill come عَذَابٌa punishment یُّخْزِیْهِdisgracing him وَیَحِلُّand descends عَلَیْهِon him عَذَابٌa punishment مُّقِیْمٌeverlasting ۟(40) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 462 - Juz 24 اِنَّاۤIndeed We اَنْزَلْنَاWe revealed عَلَیْكَto you الْكِتٰبَthe Book لِلنَّاسِfor [the] mankind بِالْحَقِّ ۚin truth فَمَنِSo whoever اهْتَدٰیaccepts guidance فَلِنَفْسِهٖ ۚthen (it is) for his soul وَمَنْand whoever ضَلَّgoes astray فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَضِلُّhe strays عَلَیْهَا ۚagainst his (soul) وَمَاۤAnd not اَنْتَyou عَلَیْهِمْ(are) over them بِوَكِیْلٍa manager ۟۠(41) اَللّٰهُAllah یَتَوَفَّیtakes الْاَنْفُسَthe souls حِیْنَ(at the) time مَوْتِهَا(of) their death وَالَّتِیْand the one who لَمْ(does) not تَمُتْdie فِیْin مَنَامِهَا ۚtheir sleep فَیُمْسِكُThen He keeps الَّتِیْthe one whom قَضٰیHe has decreed عَلَیْهَاfor them الْمَوْتَthe death وَیُرْسِلُand sends الْاُخْرٰۤیthe others اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّی ؕspecified اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho ponder ۟(42) اَمِOr اتَّخَذُوْاhave they taken مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah شُفَعَآءَ ؕintercessors قُلْSay اَوَلَوْEven though كَانُوْاthey were لَاnot یَمْلِكُوْنَpossessing شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not یَعْقِلُوْنَthey understand ۟(43) قُلْSay لِّلّٰهِTo Allah (belongs) الشَّفَاعَةُthe intercession جَمِیْعًا ؕall لَهٗFor Him مُلْكُ(is the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth ثُمَّThen اِلَیْهِto Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(44) وَاِذَاAnd when ذُكِرَAllah is mentioned اللّٰهُAllah is mentioned وَحْدَهُAlone اشْمَاَزَّتْshrink with aversion قُلُوْبُ(the) hearts الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚin the Hereafter وَاِذَاand when ذُكِرَare mentioned الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اِذَاbehold هُمْThey یَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَrejoice ۟(45) قُلِSay اللّٰهُمَّO Allah فَاطِرَCreator السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth عٰلِمَKnower الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen وَالشَّهَادَةِand the witnessed اَنْتَYou تَحْكُمُwill judge بَیْنَbetween عِبَادِكَYour slaves فِیْin مَاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to فِیْهِtherein یَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(46) وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّAnd if لِلَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاdid wrong مَا(had) whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًاall وَّمِثْلَهٗand (the) like of it مَعَهٗwith it لَافْتَدَوْاthey would ransom بِهٖwith it مِنْfrom سُوْٓءِ(the) evil الْعَذَابِ(of) the punishment یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection وَبَدَاAnd (will) appear لَهُمْto them مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَمْnot یَكُوْنُوْاthey had یَحْتَسِبُوْنَtaken into account ۟(47) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 463 - Juz 24 وَبَدَاAnd will become apparent لَهُمْto them سَیِّاٰتُ(the) evils مَا(of) what كَسَبُوْاthey earned وَحَاقَand will surround بِهِمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to بِهٖ[in it] یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock ۟(48) فَاِذَاSo when مَسَّtouches الْاِنْسَانَ[the] man ضُرٌّadversity دَعَانَا ؗhe calls upon Us ثُمَّthen اِذَاwhen خَوَّلْنٰهُWe bestow (on) him نِعْمَةًa favor مِّنَّا ۙfrom Us قَالَhe says اِنَّمَاۤOnly اُوْتِیْتُهٗI have been given it عَلٰیfor عِلْمٍ ؕknowledge بَلْNay هِیَit فِتْنَةٌ(is) a trial وَّلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(49) قَدْIndeed قَالَهَاsaid it الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them فَمَاۤbut (did) not اَغْنٰیavail عَنْهُمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(50) فَاَصَابَهُمْThen struck them سَیِّاٰتُ(the) evils مَا(of) what كَسَبُوْا ؕthey earned وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who ظَلَمُوْاhave wronged مِنْof هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese سَیُصِیْبُهُمْwill strike them سَیِّاٰتُ(the) evils مَا(of) what كَسَبُوْا ۙthey earned وَمَاand not هُمْthey بِمُعْجِزِیْنَwill be able to escape ۟(51) اَوَلَمْDo not یَعْلَمُوْۤاthey know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَبْسُطُextends الرِّزْقَthe provision لِمَنْfor whom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَقْدِرُ ؕand restricts اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟۠(52) قُلْSay یٰعِبَادِیَO My slaves الَّذِیْنَThose who اَسْرَفُوْاhave transgressed عَلٰۤیagainst اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves لَا(do) not تَقْنَطُوْاdespair مِنْof رَّحْمَةِ(the) Mercy اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یَغْفِرُforgives الذُّنُوْبَthe sins جَمِیْعًا ؕall اِنَّهٗIndeed He هُوَHe الْغَفُوْرُ(is) the Oft-Forgiving الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(53) وَاَنِیْبُوْۤاAnd turn اِلٰیto رَبِّكُمْyour Lord وَاَسْلِمُوْاand submit لَهٗto Him مِنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] یَّاْتِیَكُمُcomes to you الْعَذَابُthe punishment ثُمَّthen لَاnot تُنْصَرُوْنَyou will be helped ۟(54) وَاتَّبِعُوْۤاAnd follow اَحْسَنَ(the) best مَاۤ(of) what اُنْزِلَis revealed اِلَیْكُمْto you مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord مِّنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] یَّاْتِیَكُمُcomes to you الْعَذَابُthe punishment بَغْتَةًsuddenly وَّاَنْتُمْwhile you لَا(do) not تَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟ۙ(55) اَنْLest تَقُوْلَshould say نَفْسٌa soul یّٰحَسْرَتٰیOh! My regret عَلٰیover مَاwhat فَرَّطْتُI neglected فِیْin جَنْۢبِregard (to) اللّٰهِAllah وَاِنْand that كُنْتُI was لَمِنَsurely, among السّٰخِرِیْنَthe mockers ۟ۙ(56) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 464 - Juz 24 اَوْOr تَقُوْلَit should say لَوْIf that اَنَّIf that اللّٰهَAllah هَدٰىنِیْ(had) guided me لَكُنْتُsurely, I (would) have been مِنَamong الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟ۙ(57) اَوْOr تَقُوْلَit should say حِیْنَwhen تَرَیit sees الْعَذَابَthe punishment لَوْIf اَنَّonly لِیْfor me كَرَّةًanother chance فَاَكُوْنَthen I could be مِنَamong الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(58) بَلٰیYes قَدْverily جَآءَتْكَcame to you اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses فَكَذَّبْتَbut you denied بِهَاthem وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَand were arrogant وَكُنْتَand you were مِنَamong الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(59) وَیَوْمَAnd (on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection تَرَیyou will see الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَبُوْاlied عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah وُجُوْهُهُمْtheir faces مُّسْوَدَّةٌ ؕ(will be) blackened اَلَیْسَIs (there) not فِیْin جَهَنَّمَHell مَثْوًیan abode لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِیْنَfor the arrogant ۟(60) وَیُنَجِّیAnd Allah will deliver اللّٰهُAnd Allah will deliver الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfeared (Him) بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ ؗto their place of salvation لَاnot یَمَسُّهُمُwill touch them السُّوْٓءُthe evil وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(61) اَللّٰهُAllah خَالِقُ(is the) Creator كُلِّ(of) all شَیْءٍ ؗthings وَّهُوَand He عَلٰی(is) over كُلِّall شَیْءٍthings وَّكِیْلٌa Guardian ۟(62) لَهٗFor Him مَقَالِیْدُ(are the) keys السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose هُمُthey الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟۠(63) قُلْSay اَفَغَیْرَIs (it) other than اللّٰهِAllah تَاْمُرُوْٓنِّیْۤyou order me اَعْبُدُ(to) worship اَیُّهَاO الْجٰهِلُوْنَignorant ones ۟(64) وَلَقَدْAnd verily اُوْحِیَit has been revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَاِلَیand to الَّذِیْنَthose who مِنْ(were) before you قَبْلِكَ ۚ(were) before you لَىِٕنْif اَشْرَكْتَyou associate (with Allah) لَیَحْبَطَنَّsurely, will become worthless عَمَلُكَyour deeds وَلَتَكُوْنَنَّand you will surely be مِنَamong الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(65) بَلِNay اللّٰهَBut worship Allah فَاعْبُدْBut worship Allah وَكُنْand be مِّنَamong الشّٰكِرِیْنَthe thankful ones ۟(66) وَمَاAnd not قَدَرُواthey appraised اللّٰهَAllah حَقَّ(with) true قَدْرِهٖ ۖۗappraisal وَالْاَرْضُwhile the earth جَمِیْعًاentirely قَبْضَتُهٗ(will be) in His Grip یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection وَالسَّمٰوٰتُand the heavens مَطْوِیّٰتٌ(will be) folded بِیَمِیْنِهٖ ؕin His Right Hand سُبْحٰنَهٗGlory be to Him وَتَعٰلٰیAnd High is He عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate (with Him) ۟(67) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 465 - Juz 24 وَنُفِخَAnd (will) be blown فِی[in] الصُّوْرِthe trumpet فَصَعِقَthen (will) fall dead مَنْwhoever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَنْand whoever فِی(is) on الْاَرْضِthe earth اِلَّاexcept مَنْwhom شَآءَAllah wills اللّٰهُ ؕAllah wills ثُمَّThen نُفِخَ(it will) be blown فِیْهِ[in it] اُخْرٰیa second time فَاِذَاand behold هُمْThey قِیَامٌ(will be) standing یَّنْظُرُوْنَwaiting ۟(68) وَاَشْرَقَتِAnd (will) shine الْاَرْضُthe earth بِنُوْرِwith (the) light رَبِّهَا(of) its Lord وَوُضِعَand (will) be placed الْكِتٰبُthe Record وَجِایْٓءَand (will) be brought بِالنَّبِیّٖنَthe Prophets وَالشُّهَدَآءِand the witnesses وَقُضِیَand it (will) be judged بَیْنَهُمْbetween them بِالْحَقِّin truth وَهُمْand they لَاwill not be wronged یُظْلَمُوْنَwill not be wronged ۟(69) وَوُفِّیَتْAnd (will) be paid in full كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul مَّاwhat عَمِلَتْit did وَهُوَand He اَعْلَمُ(is the) Best-Knower بِمَاof what یَفْعَلُوْنَthey do ۟۠(70) وَسِیْقَAnd (will) be driven الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve اِلٰیto جَهَنَّمَHell زُمَرًا ؕ(in) groups حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen جَآءُوْهَاthey reach it فُتِحَتْ(will) be opened اَبْوَابُهَاits gates وَقَالَand (will) say لَهُمْto them خَزَنَتُهَاۤits keepers اَلَمْDid not یَاْتِكُمْcome to you رُسُلٌMessengers مِّنْكُمْfrom you یَتْلُوْنَreciting عَلَیْكُمْto you اٰیٰتِ(the) Verses رَبِّكُمْ(of) your Lord وَیُنْذِرُوْنَكُمْand warning you لِقَآءَ(of the) meeting یَوْمِكُمْ(of) your Day هٰذَا ؕthis قَالُوْاThey (will) say بَلٰیYes وَلٰكِنْBut حَقَّتْhas been justified كَلِمَةُ(the) word الْعَذَابِ(of) punishment عَلَیagainst الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(71) قِیْلَIt will be said ادْخُلُوْۤاEnter اَبْوَابَ(the) gates جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خٰلِدِیْنَ(to) abide eternally فِیْهَا ۚtherein فَبِئْسَand wretched is مَثْوَی(the) abode الْمُتَكَبِّرِیْنَ(of) the arrogant ۟(72) وَسِیْقَAnd (will) be driven الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfeared رَبَّهُمْtheir Lord اِلَیto الْجَنَّةِParadise زُمَرًا ؕ(in) groups حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen جَآءُوْهَاthey reach it وَفُتِحَتْand (will) be opened اَبْوَابُهَاits gates وَقَالَand (will) say لَهُمْto them خَزَنَتُهَاits keepers سَلٰمٌPeace be عَلَیْكُمْupon you طِبْتُمْyou have done well فَادْخُلُوْهَاso enter it خٰلِدِیْنَ(to) abide eternally ۟(73) وَقَالُواAnd they will say الْحَمْدُAll praise لِلّٰهِ(be) to Allah الَّذِیْWho صَدَقَنَاhas fulfilled for us وَعْدَهٗHis promise وَاَوْرَثَنَاand has made us inherit الْاَرْضَthe earth نَتَبَوَّاُwe may settle مِنَ[from] الْجَنَّةِ(in) Paradise حَیْثُwherever نَشَآءُ ۚwe wish فَنِعْمَSo excellent اَجْرُ(is the) reward الْعٰمِلِیْنَ(of) the workers ۟(74) Surah 39. Az-Zumar - Page 466 - Juz 24 وَتَرَیAnd you will see الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةَthe Angels حَآفِّیْنَsurrounding مِنْ[from] حَوْلِaround الْعَرْشِthe Throne یُسَبِّحُوْنَglorifying بِحَمْدِ(the) praise رَبِّهِمْ ۚ(of) their Lord وَقُضِیَAnd (will) be judged بَیْنَهُمْbetween them بِالْحَقِّin truth وَقِیْلَand it will be said الْحَمْدُAll praise be لِلّٰهِto Allah رَبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟۠(75) Surah 40. Ghafir (The Forgiver) V85 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚ(1) تَنْزِیْلُ(The) revelation الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book مِنَ(is) from اللّٰهِAllah الْعَزِیْزِthe All-Mighty الْعَلِیْمِthe All-Knower ۟ۙ(2) غَافِرِ(The) Forgiver الذَّنْۢبِ(of) the sin وَقَابِلِand (the) Acceptor التَّوْبِ(of) [the] repentance شَدِیْدِsevere الْعِقَابِ ۙ(in) the punishment ذِیOwner (of) the abundance الطَّوْلِ ؕOwner (of) the abundance لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ؕHim اِلَیْهِto Him الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the final return ۟(3) مَاNot یُجَادِلُdispute فِیْۤconcerning اٰیٰتِ(the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve فَلَاso (let) not یَغْرُرْكَdeceive you تَقَلُّبُهُمْtheir movement فِیin الْبِلَادِthe cities ۟(4) كَذَّبَتْDenied قَبْلَهُمْbefore them قَوْمُ(the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّالْاَحْزَابُand the factions مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْ ۪after them وَهَمَّتْand plotted كُلُّevery اُمَّةٍnation بِرَسُوْلِهِمْagainst their Messenger لِیَاْخُذُوْهُto seize him وَجٰدَلُوْاand they disputed بِالْبَاطِلِby falsehood لِیُدْحِضُوْاto refute بِهِthereby الْحَقَّthe truth فَاَخَذْتُهُمْ ۫So I seized them فَكَیْفَThen how كَانَwas عِقَابِMy penalty ۟(5) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus حَقَّتْhas been justified كَلِمَتُ(the) Word رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord عَلَیagainst الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieved اَنَّهُمْthat they اَصْحٰبُ(are) companions النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟(6) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یَحْمِلُوْنَbear الْعَرْشَthe Throne وَمَنْand who حَوْلَهٗ(are) around it یُسَبِّحُوْنَglorify بِحَمْدِ(the) praises رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَیُؤْمِنُوْنَand believe بِهٖin Him وَیَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَand ask forgiveness لِلَّذِیْنَfor those who اٰمَنُوْا ۚbelieve رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَسِعْتَYou encompass كُلَّall شَیْءٍthings رَّحْمَةً(by Your) Mercy وَّعِلْمًاand knowledge فَاغْفِرْso forgive لِلَّذِیْنَthose who تَابُوْاrepent وَاتَّبَعُوْاand follow سَبِیْلَكَYour Way وَقِهِمْand save them (from) عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the Hellfire ۟(7) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 467 - Juz 24 رَبَّنَاOur Lord وَاَدْخِلْهُمْAnd admit them جَنّٰتِ(to) Gardens عَدْنِ(of) Eden لَّتِیْwhich وَعَدْتَّهُمْYou have promised them وَمَنْand whoever صَلَحَ(was) righteous مِنْamong اٰبَآىِٕهِمْtheir fathers وَاَزْوَاجِهِمْand their spouses وَذُرِّیّٰتِهِمْ ؕand their offspring اِنَّكَIndeed You اَنْتَYou الْعَزِیْزُ(are) the All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟ۙ(8) وَقِهِمُAnd protect them السَّیِّاٰتِ ؕ(from) the evils وَمَنْAnd whoever تَقِyou protect السَّیِّاٰتِ(from) the evils یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat Day فَقَدْthen verily رَحِمْتَهٗ ؕYou have bestowed mercy on him وَذٰلِكَAnd that هُوَ[it] الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟۠(9) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved یُنَادَوْنَwill be cried out to them لَمَقْتُCertainly Allah's hatred اللّٰهِCertainly Allah's hatred اَكْبَرُ(was) greater مِنْthan مَّقْتِكُمْyour hatred اَنْفُسَكُمْ(of) yourselves اِذْwhen تُدْعَوْنَyou were called اِلَیto الْاِیْمَانِthe faith فَتَكْفُرُوْنَand you disbelieved ۟(10) قَالُوْاThey (will) say رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَمَتَّنَاYou gave us death اثْنَتَیْنِtwice وَاَحْیَیْتَنَاand You gave us life اثْنَتَیْنِtwice فَاعْتَرَفْنَاand we confess بِذُنُوْبِنَاour sins فَهَلْSo is (there) اِلٰیto خُرُوْجٍget out مِّنْany سَبِیْلٍway ۟(11) ذٰلِكُمْThat بِاَنَّهٗۤ(is) because اِذَاwhen دُعِیَAllah was invoked اللّٰهُAllah was invoked وَحْدَهٗAlone كَفَرْتُمْ ۚyou disbelieved وَاِنْbut if یُّشْرَكْ(others) were associated بِهٖwith Him تُؤْمِنُوْا ؕyou believed فَالْحُكْمُSo the judgment لِلّٰهِ(is) with Allah الْعَلِیِّthe Most High الْكَبِیْرِthe Most Great ۟(12) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُرِیْكُمْshows you اٰیٰتِهٖHis Signs وَیُنَزِّلُand sends down لَكُمْfor you مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky رِزْقًا ؕprovision وَمَاBut (does) not یَتَذَكَّرُtake heed اِلَّاexcept مَنْ(one) who یُّنِیْبُturns ۟(13) فَادْعُواSo invoke اللّٰهَAllah مُخْلِصِیْنَ(being) sincere لَهُto Him الدِّیْنَ(in) the religion وَلَوْeven though كَرِهَdislike (it) الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers ۟(14) رَفِیْعُPossessor of the Highest Ranks الدَّرَجٰتِPossessor of the Highest Ranks ذُوOwner (of) the Throne الْعَرْشِ ۚOwner (of) the Throne یُلْقِیHe places الرُّوْحَthe inspiration مِنْof اَمْرِهٖHis Command عَلٰیupon مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهٖHis slaves لِیُنْذِرَto warn یَوْمَ(of the) Day التَّلَاقِ(of) the Meeting ۟ۙ(15) یَوْمَ(The) Day هُمْthey بٰرِزُوْنَ ۚ۬come forth لَاnot یَخْفٰیis hidden عَلَیfrom اللّٰهِAllah مِنْهُمْabout them شَیْءٌ ؕanything لِمَنِFor whom الْمُلْكُ(is) the Dominion الْیَوْمَ ؕthis Day لِلّٰهِFor Allah الْوَاحِدِthe One الْقَهَّارِthe Irresistible ۟(16) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 468 - Juz 24 اَلْیَوْمَThis Day تُجْزٰیwill be recompensed كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul بِمَاfor what كَسَبَتْ ؕit earned لَاNo ظُلْمَinjustice الْیَوْمَ ؕtoday اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَرِیْعُ(is) Swift الْحِسَابِ(in) Account ۟(17) وَاَنْذِرْهُمْAnd warn them یَوْمَ(of the) Day الْاٰزِفَةِthe Approaching اِذِwhen الْقُلُوْبُthe hearts لَدَی(are) at الْحَنَاجِرِthe throats كٰظِمِیْنَ ؕ۬choked مَاNot لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَfor the wrongdoers مِنْany حَمِیْمٍintimate friend وَّلَاand no شَفِیْعٍintercessor یُّطَاعُ(who) is obeyed ۟ؕ(18) یَعْلَمُHe knows خَآىِٕنَةَ(the) stealthy glance الْاَعْیُنِ(the) stealthy glance وَمَاand what تُخْفِیconceal الصُّدُوْرُthe breasts ۟(19) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah یَقْضِیْjudges بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth وَالَّذِیْنَwhile those (whom) یَدْعُوْنَthey invoke مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖbesides Him لَاnot یَقْضُوْنَthey judge بِشَیْءٍ ؕwith anything اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْبَصِیْرُthe All-Seer ۟۠(20) اَوَلَمْDo not یَسِیْرُوْاthey travel فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth فَیَنْظُرُوْاand see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَانُوْاwere مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕbefore them كَانُوْاThey were هُمْ[they] اَشَدَّsuperior مِنْهُمْto them قُوَّةً(in) strength وَّاٰثَارًاand (in) impressions فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land فَاَخَذَهُمُbut Allah seized them اللّٰهُbut Allah seized them بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ؕfor their sins وَمَاand not كَانَwas لَهُمْfor them مِّنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّاقٍprotector ۟(21) ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(was) because [they] كَانَتْused to come to them تَّاْتِیْهِمْused to come to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs فَكَفَرُوْاbut they disbelieved فَاَخَذَهُمُSo Allah seized them اللّٰهُ ؕSo Allah seized them اِنَّهٗIndeed, He قَوِیٌّ(is) All-Strong شَدِیْدُsevere الْعِقَابِ(in) punishment ۟(22) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مُوْسٰیMusa بِاٰیٰتِنَاwith Our Signs وَسُلْطٰنٍand an authority مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟ۙ(23) اِلٰیTo فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَهَامٰنَHaman وَقَارُوْنَand Qarun فَقَالُوْاbut they said سٰحِرٌA magician كَذَّابٌa liar ۟(24) فَلَمَّاThen when جَآءَهُمْhe brought to them بِالْحَقِّthe truth مِنْfrom عِنْدِنَاUs قَالُواthey said اقْتُلُوْۤاKill اَبْنَآءَ(the) sons الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve مَعَهٗwith him وَاسْتَحْیُوْاand let live نِسَآءَهُمْ ؕtheir women وَمَاAnd not كَیْدُ(is the) plot الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers اِلَّاbut فِیْin ضَلٰلٍerror ۟(25) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 469 - Juz 24 وَقَالَAnd said فِرْعَوْنُFiraun ذَرُوْنِیْۤLeave me اَقْتُلْ(so that) I kill مُوْسٰیMusa وَلْیَدْعُand let him call رَبَّهٗ ۚhis Lord اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear اَنْthat یُّبَدِّلَhe will change دِیْنَكُمْyour religion اَوْor اَنْthat یُّظْهِرَhe may cause to appear فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land الْفَسَادَthe corruption ۟(26) وَقَالَAnd said مُوْسٰۤیMusa اِنِّیْIndeed, I عُذْتُ[I] seek refuge بِرَبِّیْin my Lord وَرَبِّكُمْand your Lord مِّنْfrom كُلِّevery مُتَكَبِّرٍarrogant one لَّاnot یُؤْمِنُwho believes بِیَوْمِ(in the) Day الْحِسَابِ(of) the Account ۟۠(27) وَقَالَAnd said رَجُلٌa man مُّؤْمِنٌ ۖۗbelieving مِّنْfrom اٰلِ(the) family فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun یَكْتُمُwho conceal(ed) اِیْمَانَهٗۤhis faith اَتَقْتُلُوْنَWill you kill رَجُلًاa man اَنْbecause یَّقُوْلَhe says رَبِّیَMy Lord اللّٰهُ(is) Allah وَقَدْand indeed جَآءَكُمْhe has brought you بِالْبَیِّنٰتِclear proofs مِنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord وَاِنْAnd if یَّكُhe is كَاذِبًاa liar فَعَلَیْهِthen upon him كَذِبُهٗ ۚ(is) his lie وَاِنْand if یَّكُhe is صَادِقًاtruthful یُّصِبْكُمْ(there) will strike you بَعْضُsome (of) الَّذِیْ(that) which یَعِدُكُمْ ؕhe threatens you اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیْguide مَنْ(one) who هُوَ[he] مُسْرِفٌ(is) a transgressor كَذَّابٌa liar ۟(28) یٰقَوْمِO my people لَكُمُFor you الْمُلْكُ(is) the kingdom الْیَوْمَtoday ظٰهِرِیْنَdominant فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؗthe land فَمَنْbut who یَّنْصُرُنَاwill help us مِنْfrom بَاْسِ(the) punishment اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِنْif جَآءَنَا ؕit came to us قَالَSaid فِرْعَوْنُFiraun مَاۤNot اُرِیْكُمْI show you اِلَّاexcept مَاۤwhat اَرٰیI see وَمَاۤand not اَهْدِیْكُمْI guide you اِلَّاexcept سَبِیْلَ(to the) path الرَّشَادِthe right ۟(29) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْۤ(he) who اٰمَنَbelieved یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنِّیْۤIndeed I اَخَافُ[I] fear عَلَیْكُمْfor you مِّثْلَlike یَوْمِ(the) day الْاَحْزَابِ(of) the companies ۟ۙ(30) مِثْلَLike دَاْبِ(the) plight قَوْمِ(of the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّعَادٍand Aad وَّثَمُوْدَand Thamud وَالَّذِیْنَand those مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْ ؕafter them وَمَاAnd Allah (does) not اللّٰهُAnd Allah (does) not یُرِیْدُwant ظُلْمًاinjustice لِّلْعِبَادِfor (His) slaves ۟(31) وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear عَلَیْكُمْfor you یَوْمَ(the) Day التَّنَادِ(of) Calling ۟ۙ(32) یَوْمَA Day تُوَلُّوْنَyou will turn back مُدْبِرِیْنَ ۚfleeing مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany عَاصِمٍ ۚprotector وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّضْلِلِAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany هَادٍguide ۟(33) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 470 - Juz 24 وَلَقَدْAnd indeed جَآءَكُمْcame to you یُوْسُفُYusuf مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs فَمَاbut not زِلْتُمْyou ceased فِیْin شَكٍّdoubt مِّمَّاabout what جَآءَكُمْhe brought to you بِهٖ ؕ[with it] حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen هَلَكَhe died قُلْتُمْyou said لَنْNever یَّبْعَثَwill Allah raise اللّٰهُwill Allah raise مِنْafter him بَعْدِهٖafter him رَسُوْلًا ؕa Messenger كَذٰلِكَThus یُضِلُّAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray مَنْwho هُوَ[he] مُسْرِفٌ(is) a transgressor مُّرْتَابُa doubter ۟ۚۖ(34) لَّذِیْنَThose who یُجَادِلُوْنَdispute فِیْۤconcerning اٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah بِغَیْرِwithout سُلْطٰنٍany authority اَتٰىهُمْ ؕ(having) come to them كَبُرَ(it) is greatly مَقْتًاhateful عِنْدَnear Allah اللّٰهِnear Allah وَعِنْدَand near الَّذِیْنَthose اٰمَنُوْا ؕwho believe كَذٰلِكَThus یَطْبَعُAllah sets a seal اللّٰهُAllah sets a seal عَلٰیover كُلِّevery قَلْبِheart مُتَكَبِّرٍ(of) an arrogant جَبَّارٍtyrant ۟(35) وَقَالَAnd said فِرْعَوْنُFiraun یٰهَامٰنُO Haman ابْنِConstruct لِیْfor me صَرْحًاa tower لَّعَلِّیْۤthat I may اَبْلُغُreach الْاَسْبَابَthe ways ۟ۙ(36) اَسْبَابَ(The) ways السَّمٰوٰتِ(to) the heavens فَاَطَّلِعَso I may look اِلٰۤیat اِلٰهِ(the) God مُوْسٰی(of) Musa وَاِنِّیْand indeed, I لَاَظُنُّهٗ[I] surely think him كَاذِبًا ؕ(to be) a liar وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus زُیِّنَwas made fair-seeming لِفِرْعَوْنَto Firaun سُوْٓءُ(the) evil عَمَلِهٖ(of) his deed وَصُدَّand he was averted عَنِfrom السَّبِیْلِ ؕthe way وَمَاAnd not كَیْدُ(was the) plot فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun اِلَّاexcept فِیْin تَبَابٍruin ۟۠(37) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْۤthe one who اٰمَنَbelieved یٰقَوْمِO my people اتَّبِعُوْنِFollow me اَهْدِكُمْI will guide you سَبِیْلَ(to the) way الرَّشَادِthe right ۟ۚ(38) یٰقَوْمِO my people اِنَّمَاOnly هٰذِهِthis الْحَیٰوةُthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world مَتَاعٌ ؗ(is) enjoyment وَّاِنَّand indeed الْاٰخِرَةَthe Hereafter هِیَit دَارُ(is the) home الْقَرَارِ(of) settlement ۟(39) مَنْWhoever عَمِلَdoes سَیِّئَةًan evil فَلَاthen not یُجْزٰۤیhe will be recompensed اِلَّاbut مِثْلَهَا ۚ(the) like thereof وَمَنْand whoever عَمِلَdoes صَالِحًاrighteous (deeds) مِّنْof ذَكَرٍmale اَوْor اُfemale وَهُوَwhile he مُؤْمِنٌ(is) a believer فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those یَدْخُلُوْنَwill enter الْجَنَّةَParadise یُرْزَقُوْنَthey will be given provision فِیْهَاin it بِغَیْرِwithout حِسَابٍaccount ۟(40) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 471 - Juz 24 وَیٰقَوْمِAnd O my people مَاWhat (is) لِیْۤfor me اَدْعُوْكُمْ(that) I call you اِلَیto النَّجٰوةِthe salvation وَتَدْعُوْنَنِیْۤwhile you call me اِلَیto النَّارِthe Fire ۟ؕ(41) تَدْعُوْنَنِیْYou call me لِاَكْفُرَthat I disbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَاُشْرِكَand (to) associate بِهٖwith Him مَاwhat لَیْسَnot لِیْfor me بِهٖof it عِلْمٌ ؗany knowledge وَّاَنَاand I اَدْعُوْكُمْcall you اِلَیto الْعَزِیْزِthe All-Mighty الْغَفَّارِthe Oft-Forgiving ۟(42) لَاNo جَرَمَdoubt اَنَّمَاthat what تَدْعُوْنَنِیْۤyou call me اِلَیْهِto it لَیْسَnot لَهٗfor it دَعْوَةٌa claim فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَلَاand not فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter وَاَنَّand that مَرَدَّنَاۤour return اِلَی(is) to اللّٰهِAllah وَاَنَّand that الْمُسْرِفِیْنَthe transgressors هُمْthey اَصْحٰبُ(will be the) companions النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟(43) فَسَتَذْكُرُوْنَAnd you will remember مَاۤwhat اَقُوْلُI say لَكُمْ ؕto you وَاُفَوِّضُand I entrust اَمْرِیْۤmy affair اِلَیto اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer بِالْعِبَادِof (His) slaves ۟(44) فَوَقٰىهُSo Allah protected him اللّٰهُSo Allah protected him سَیِّاٰتِ(from the) evils مَاthat مَكَرُوْاthey plotted وَحَاقَand enveloped بِاٰلِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun سُوْٓءُ(the) worst الْعَذَابِpunishment ۟ۚ(45) اَلنَّارُThe Fire یُعْرَضُوْنَthey are exposed عَلَیْهَاto it غُدُوًّاmorning وَّعَشِیًّا ۚand evening وَیَوْمَAnd (the) Day تَقُوْمُ(will be) established السَّاعَةُ ۫the Hour اَدْخِلُوْۤاCause to enter اٰلَ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun اَشَدَّ(in the) severest الْعَذَابِpunishment ۟(46) وَاِذْAnd when یَتَحَآجُّوْنَthey will dispute فِیin النَّارِthe Fire فَیَقُوْلُthen will say الضُّعَفٰٓؤُاthe weak لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اسْتَكْبَرُوْۤاwere arrogant اِنَّاIndeed, we كُنَّا[we] were لَكُمْfor you تَبَعًاfollowers فَهَلْso can اَنْتُمْyou مُّغْنُوْنَavert عَنَّاfrom us نَصِیْبًاa portion مِّنَof النَّارِthe Fire ۟(47) قَالَWill say الَّذِیْنَthose who اسْتَكْبَرُوْۤا(were) arrogant اِنَّاIndeed, we كُلٌّall فِیْهَاۤ ۙ(are) in it اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah قَدْcertainly حَكَمَhas judged بَیْنَbetween الْعِبَادِ(His) slaves ۟(48) وَقَالَAnd will say الَّذِیْنَthose فِیin النَّارِthe Fire لِخَزَنَةِto (the) keepers جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell ادْعُوْاCall رَبَّكُمْyour Lord یُخَفِّفْ(to) lighten عَنَّاfor us یَوْمًاa day مِّنَof الْعَذَابِthe punishment ۟(49) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 472 - Juz 24 قَالُوْۤاThey (will) say اَوَلَمْDid there not تَكُDid there not تَاْتِیْكُمْcome to you رُسُلُكُمْyour Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ؕwith clear proofs قَالُوْاThey (will) say بَلٰی ؕYes قَالُوْاThey (will) say فَادْعُوْا ۚThen call وَمَاbut not دُعٰٓؤُا(is the) call الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers اِلَّاexcept فِیْin ضَلٰلٍerror ۟۠(50) اِنَّاIndeed We لَنَنْصُرُWe will surely help رُسُلَنَاOur Messengers وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَیَوْمَand (on the) Day یَقُوْمُ(when) will stand الْاَشْهَادُthe witnesses ۟ۙ(51) یَوْمَ(The) Day لَاnot یَنْفَعُwill benefit الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers مَعْذِرَتُهُمْtheir excuse وَلَهُمُand for them اللَّعْنَةُ(is) the curse وَلَهُمْand for them سُوْٓءُ(is the) worst الدَّارِhome ۟(52) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْهُدٰیthe guidance وَاَوْرَثْنَاand We caused to inherit بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(the) Children of Israel الْكِتٰبَthe Book ۟ۙ(53) هُدًیA guide وَّذِكْرٰیand a reminder لِاُولِیfor those الْاَلْبَابِ(of) understanding ۟(54) فَاصْبِرْSo be patient اِنَّindeed وَعْدَ(the) Promise of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Promise of Allah حَقٌّ(is) true وَّاسْتَغْفِرْAnd ask forgiveness لِذَنْۢبِكَfor your sin وَسَبِّحْand glorify بِحَمْدِ(the) praise رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord بِالْعَشِیِّin the evening وَالْاِبْكَارِand the morning ۟(55) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یُجَادِلُوْنَdispute فِیْۤconcerning اٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah بِغَیْرِwithout سُلْطٰنٍany authority اَتٰىهُمْ ۙ(which) came to them اِنْnot فِیْ(is) in صُدُوْرِهِمْtheir breasts اِلَّاbut كِبْرٌgreatness مَّاnot هُمْthey بِبَالِغِیْهِ ۚ(can) reach it فَاسْتَعِذْSo seek refuge بِاللّٰهِ ؕin Allah اِنَّهٗIndeed He هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْبَصِیْرُthe All-Seer ۟(56) لَخَلْقُSurely, (the) creation السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth اَكْبَرُ(is) greater مِنْthan خَلْقِ(the) creation النَّاسِ(of) the mankind وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(57) وَمَاAnd not یَسْتَوِی(are) equal الْاَعْمٰیthe blind وَالْبَصِیْرُ ۙ۬and the seeing وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds وَلَاand not الْمُسِیْٓءُ ؕthe evildoer قَلِیْلًاLittle مَّا(is) what تَتَذَكَّرُوْنَyou take heed ۟(58) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 473 - Juz 24 اِنَّIndeed السَّاعَةَthe Hour لَاٰتِیَةٌ(is) surely coming لَّاno رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهَاin it وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(59) وَقَالَAnd said رَبُّكُمُyour Lord ادْعُوْنِیْۤCall upon Me اَسْتَجِبْI will respond لَكُمْ ؕto you اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ(are) proud عَنْto عِبَادَتِیْworship Me سَیَدْخُلُوْنَwill enter جَهَنَّمَHell دٰخِرِیْنَ(in) humiliation ۟۠(60) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الَّیْلَthe night لِتَسْكُنُوْاthat you may rest فِیْهِin it وَالنَّهَارَand the day مُبْصِرًا ؕgiving visibility اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَذُوْ(is) Full (of) Bounty فَضْلٍ(is) Full (of) Bounty عَلَیto النَّاسِthe people وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَشْكُرُوْنَgive thanks ۟(61) ذٰلِكُمُThat اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّكُمْyour Lord خَالِقُ(the) Creator كُلِّ(of) all شَیْءٍ ۘthings لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَۚؗHim فَاَنّٰیSo how تُؤْفَكُوْنَare you deluded ۟(62) كَذٰلِكَThus یُؤْفَكُwere deluded الَّذِیْنَthose who كَانُوْاwere بِاٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah یَجْحَدُوْنَrejecting ۟(63) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الْاَرْضَthe earth قَرَارًاa place of settlement وَّالسَّمَآءَand the sky بِنَآءًa canopy وَّصَوَّرَكُمْand He formed you فَاَحْسَنَand perfected صُوَرَكُمْyour forms وَرَزَقَكُمْand provided you مِّنَof الطَّیِّبٰتِ ؕthe good things ذٰلِكُمُThat اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّكُمْ ۖۚyour Lord فَتَبٰرَكَThen blessed (is) اللّٰهُAllah رَبُّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(64) هُوَHe الْحَیُّ(is) the Ever-Living لَاۤ(there is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاbut هُوَHe فَادْعُوْهُso call Him مُخْلِصِیْنَ(being) sincere لَهُto Him الدِّیْنَ ؕ(in) the religion اَلْحَمْدُAll praise (be) لِلّٰهِto Allah رَبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(65) قُلْSay اِنِّیْIndeed, I نُهِیْتُ[I] have been forbidden اَنْto اَعْبُدَworship الَّذِیْنَthose whom تَدْعُوْنَyou call مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah لَمَّاwhen جَآءَنِیَhave come to me الْبَیِّنٰتُthe clear proofs مِنْfrom رَّبِّیْ ؗmy Lord وَاُمِرْتُand I am commanded اَنْto اُسْلِمَsubmit لِرَبِّto (the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(66) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 474 - Juz 24 هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَكُمْcreated you مِّنْfrom تُرَابٍdust ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom نُّطْفَةٍa semen-drop ثُمَّthen مِنْfrom عَلَقَةٍa clinging substance ثُمَّthen یُخْرِجُكُمْHe brings you out طِفْلًا(as) a child ثُمَّthen لِتَبْلُغُوْۤاlets you reach اَشُدَّكُمْyour maturity ثُمَّthen لِتَكُوْنُوْاlets you become شُیُوْخًا ۚold وَمِنْكُمْand among you مَّنْ(is he) who یُّتَوَفّٰیdies مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَلِتَبْلُغُوْۤاand lets you reach اَجَلًاa term مُّسَمًّیspecified وَّلَعَلَّكُمْand that you may تَعْقِلُوْنَuse reason ۟(67) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُحْیٖgives life وَیُمِیْتُ ۚand causes death فَاِذَاAnd when قَضٰۤیHe decrees اَمْرًاa matter فَاِنَّمَاthen only یَقُوْلُHe says لَهٗto it كُنْBe فَیَكُوْنُand it is ۟۠(68) اَلَمْDo not تَرَyou see اِلَی[to] الَّذِیْنَthose who یُجَادِلُوْنَdispute فِیْۤconcerning اٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اَنّٰیHow یُصْرَفُوْنَthey are turned away ۟(69) الَّذِیْنَThose who كَذَّبُوْاdeny بِالْكِتٰبِthe Book وَبِمَاۤand with what اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent بِهٖwith it رُسُلَنَا ۛ۫Our Messengers فَسَوْفَbut soon یَعْلَمُوْنَthey will know ۟ۙ(70) اِذِWhen الْاَغْلٰلُthe iron collars فِیْۤ(will be) around اَعْنَاقِهِمْtheir necks وَالسَّلٰسِلُ ؕand the chains یُسْحَبُوْنَthey will be dragged ۟ۙ(71) فِیIn الْحَمِیْمِ ۙ۬the boiling water ثُمَّthen فِیin النَّارِthe Fire یُسْجَرُوْنَthey will be burned ۟ۚ(72) ثُمَّThen قِیْلَit will be said لَهُمْto them اَیْنَWhere مَا(is) that which كُنْتُمْyou used to تُشْرِكُوْنَassociate ۟ۙ(73) مِنْOther than دُوْنِOther than اللّٰهِ ؕAllah قَالُوْاThey will say ضَلُّوْاThey have departed عَنَّاfrom us بَلْNay لَّمْNot نَكُنْwe used to نَّدْعُوْا[we] call مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore شَیْـًٔا ؕanything كَذٰلِكَThus یُضِلُّAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(74) ذٰلِكُمْThat was بِمَاbecause كُنْتُمْyou used to تَفْرَحُوْنَrejoice فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّright وَبِمَاand because كُنْتُمْyou used to تَمْرَحُوْنَbe insolent ۟ۚ(75) اُدْخُلُوْۤاEnter اَبْوَابَ(the) gates جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خٰلِدِیْنَ(to) abide forever فِیْهَا ۚin it فَبِئْسَand wretched is مَثْوَی(the) abode الْمُتَكَبِّرِیْنَ(of) the arrogant ۟(76) فَاصْبِرْSo be patient اِنَّindeed وَعْدَ(the) Promise اللّٰهِ(of) Allah حَقٌّ ۚ(is) true فَاِمَّاAnd whether نُرِیَنَّكَWe show you بَعْضَsome الَّذِیْ(of) what نَعِدُهُمْWe have promised them اَوْor نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَWe cause you to die فَاِلَیْنَاthen to Us یُرْجَعُوْنَthey will be returned ۟(77) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 475 - Juz 24 وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe have sent رُسُلًاMessengers مِّنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you مِنْهُمْAmong them مَّنْ(are) who قَصَصْنَاWe have related عَلَیْكَto you وَمِنْهُمْand among them مَّنْ(are) who لَّمْnot نَقْصُصْWe have related عَلَیْكَ ؕto you وَمَاAnd not كَانَis لِرَسُوْلٍfor any Messenger اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَhe brings بِاٰیَةٍa Sign اِلَّاexcept بِاِذْنِby (the) permission اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah فَاِذَاSo when جَآءَcomes اَمْرُ(the) Command اللّٰهِ(of) Allah قُضِیَit will be decided بِالْحَقِّin truth وَخَسِرَand will lose هُنَالِكَthere الْمُبْطِلُوْنَthe falsifiers ۟۠(78) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الْاَنْعَامَthe cattle لِتَرْكَبُوْاthat you may ride مِنْهَاsome of them وَمِنْهَاand some of them تَاْكُلُوْنَyou eat ۟ؗ(79) وَلَكُمْAnd for you فِیْهَاin them مَنَافِعُ(are) benefits وَلِتَبْلُغُوْاand that you may reach عَلَیْهَاthrough them حَاجَةًa need فِیْ(that is) in صُدُوْرِكُمْyour breasts وَعَلَیْهَاand upon them وَعَلَیand upon الْفُلْكِthe ships تُحْمَلُوْنَyou are carried ۟ؕ(80) وَیُرِیْكُمْAnd He shows you اٰیٰتِهٖ ۖۗHis Signs فَاَیَّThen which اٰیٰتِ(of the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah تُنْكِرُوْنَwill you deny ۟(81) اَفَلَمْDo they not یَسِیْرُوْاtravel فِیthrough الْاَرْضِthe land فَیَنْظُرُوْاand see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕ(were) before them كَانُوْۤاThey were اَكْثَرَmore numerous مِنْهُمْthan them وَاَشَدَّand mightier قُوَّةً(in) strength وَّاٰثَارًاand impressions فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land فَمَاۤbut not اَغْنٰیavailed عَنْهُمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(82) فَلَمَّاThen when جَآءَتْهُمْcame to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs فَرِحُوْاthey rejoiced بِمَاin what عِنْدَهُمْthey had مِّنَof الْعِلْمِthe knowledge وَحَاقَand enveloped بِهِمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to بِهٖ[at it] یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock ۟(83) فَلَمَّاSo when رَاَوْاthey saw بَاْسَنَاOur punishment قَالُوْۤاthey said اٰمَنَّاWe believe بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَحْدَهٗAlone وَكَفَرْنَاand we disbelieve بِمَاin what كُنَّاwe used to بِهٖwith Him مُشْرِكِیْنَassociate ۟(84) فَلَمْBut did not یَكُBut did not یَنْفَعُهُمْbenefit them اِیْمَانُهُمْtheir faith لَمَّاwhen رَاَوْاthey saw بَاْسَنَا ؕOur punishment سُنَّتَ(Such is the) Way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah الَّتِیْwhich قَدْ(has) indeed خَلَتْpreceded فِیْamong عِبَادِهٖ ۚHis slaves وَخَسِرَAnd are lost هُنَالِكَthere الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers ۟۠(85) Surah 40. Ghafir - Page 476 - Juz 24 Surah 41. Fussilat (Explained in Detail) V54 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚ(1) تَنْزِیْلٌA revelation مِّنَfrom الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious الرَّحِیْمِthe Most Merciful ۟ۚ(2) كِتٰبٌA Book فُصِّلَتْare detailed اٰیٰتُهٗits Verses قُرْاٰنًاa Quran عَرَبِیًّا(in) Arabic لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْلَمُوْنَ(who) know ۟ۙ(3) بَشِیْرًاA giver of glad tidings وَّنَذِیْرًا ۚand a warner فَاَعْرَضَbut turn away اَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them فَهُمْso they لَا(do) not یَسْمَعُوْنَhear ۟(4) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say قُلُوْبُنَاOur hearts فِیْۤ(are) in اَكِنَّةٍcoverings مِّمَّاfrom what تَدْعُوْنَاۤyou call us اِلَیْهِto it وَفِیْۤand in اٰذَانِنَاour ears وَقْرٌ(is) deafness وَّمِنْand between us بَیْنِنَاand between us وَبَیْنِكَand between you حِجَابٌ(is) a screen فَاعْمَلْSo work اِنَّنَاindeed, we عٰمِلُوْنَ(are) working ۟(5) قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَنَاI am بَشَرٌa man مِّثْلُكُمْlike you یُوْحٰۤیit is revealed اِلَیَّto me اَنَّمَاۤthat اِلٰهُكُمْyour god اِلٰهٌ(is) God وَّاحِدٌOne فَاسْتَقِیْمُوْۤاso take a Straight Path اِلَیْهِto Him وَاسْتَغْفِرُوْهُ ؕand ask His forgiveness وَوَیْلٌAnd woe لِّلْمُشْرِكِیْنَto the polytheists ۟ۙ(6) الَّذِیْنَThose who لَا(do) not یُؤْتُوْنَgive الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah وَهُمْand they بِالْاٰخِرَةِin the Hereafter هُمْthey كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(7) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds لَهُمْfor them اَجْرٌ(is) a reward غَیْرُnever ending مَمْنُوْنٍnever ending ۟۠(8) قُلْSay اَىِٕنَّكُمْDo you indeed لَتَكْفُرُوْنَ[surely] disbelieve بِالَّذِیْin the One Who خَلَقَcreated الْاَرْضَthe earth فِیْin یَوْمَیْنِtwo periods وَتَجْعَلُوْنَand you set up لَهٗۤwith Him اَنْدَادًا ؕrivals ذٰلِكَThat رَبُّ(is the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟ۚ(9) وَجَعَلَAnd He placed فِیْهَاtherein رَوَاسِیَfirmly-set mountains مِنْabove it فَوْقِهَاabove it وَبٰرَكَand He blessed فِیْهَاtherein وَقَدَّرَand determined فِیْهَاۤtherein اَقْوَاتَهَاits sustenance فِیْۤin اَرْبَعَةِfour اَیَّامٍ ؕperiods سَوَآءًequal لِّلسَّآىِٕلِیْنَfor those who ask ۟(10) ثُمَّThen اسْتَوٰۤیHe directed (Himself) اِلَیtowards السَّمَآءِthe heaven وَهِیَwhile it (was) دُخَانٌsmoke فَقَالَand He said لَهَاto it وَلِلْاَرْضِand to the earth ائْتِیَاCome both of you طَوْعًاwillingly اَوْor كَرْهًا ؕunwillingly قَالَتَاۤThey both said اَتَیْنَاWe come طَآىِٕعِیْنَwillingly ۟(11) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 477 - Juz 24 فَقَضٰىهُنَّThen He completed them سَبْعَ(as) seven سَمٰوَاتٍheavens فِیْin یَوْمَیْنِtwo periods وَاَوْحٰیand He revealed فِیْin كُلِّeach سَمَآءٍheaven اَمْرَهَا ؕits affair وَزَیَّنَّاAnd We adorned السَّمَآءَthe heaven الدُّنْیَا[the world] بِمَصَابِیْحَ ۖۗwith lamps وَحِفْظًا ؕand (to) guard ذٰلِكَThat تَقْدِیْرُ(is the) Decree الْعَزِیْزِ(of) the All-Mighty الْعَلِیْمِthe All-Knower ۟(12) فَاِنْBut if اَعْرَضُوْاthey turn away فَقُلْthen say اَنْذَرْتُكُمْI have warned you صٰعِقَةً(of) a thunderbolt مِّثْلَlike صٰعِقَةِ(the) thunderbolt عَادٍ(of) Aad وَّثَمُوْدَand Thamud ۟ؕ(13) اِذْWhen جَآءَتْهُمُcame to them الرُّسُلُthe Messengers مِنْfrom before them بَیْنِfrom before them اَیْدِیْهِمْfrom before them وَمِنْand from خَلْفِهِمْbehind them اَلَّا(saying) "Do not تَعْبُدُوْۤاworship اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهَ ؕAllah قَالُوْاThey said لَوْIf شَآءَ(had) willed رَبُّنَاour Lord لَاَنْزَلَsurely, He (would have) sent down مَلٰٓىِٕكَةًAngels فَاِنَّاSo indeed, we بِمَاۤin what اُرْسِلْتُمْyou have been sent بِهٖwith كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(14) فَاَمَّاThen as for عَادٌAad فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاthey were arrogant فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّ[the] right وَقَالُوْاand they said مَنْWho اَشَدُّ(is) mightier مِنَّاthan us قُوَّةً ؕ(in) strength اَوَلَمْDo not یَرَوْاthey see اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَهُمْcreated them هُوَHe اَشَدُّ(is) Mightier مِنْهُمْthan them قُوَّةً ؕ(in) strength وَكَانُوْاBut they used to بِاٰیٰتِنَاin Our Signs یَجْحَدُوْنَdeny ۟(15) فَاَرْسَلْنَاSo We sent عَلَیْهِمْupon them رِیْحًاa wind صَرْصَرًاfurious فِیْۤin اَیَّامٍ(the) days نَّحِسَاتٍ(of) misfortune لِّنُذِیْقَهُمْthat We may make them taste عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْخِزْیِ(of) disgrace فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ؕ(of) the world وَلَعَذَابُAnd surely, (the) punishment الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter اَخْزٰی(is) more disgracing وَهُمْand they لَاwill not be helped یُنْصَرُوْنَwill not be helped ۟(16) وَاَمَّاAnd as for ثَمُوْدُThamud فَهَدَیْنٰهُمْWe guided them فَاسْتَحَبُّواbut they preferred الْعَمٰی[the] blindness عَلَیover الْهُدٰیthe guidance فَاَخَذَتْهُمْso seized them صٰعِقَةُa thunderbolt الْعَذَابِ(of) the punishment الْهُوْنِhumiliating بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟ۚ(17) وَنَجَّیْنَاAnd We saved الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَكَانُوْاand used to یَتَّقُوْنَfear (Allah) ۟۠(18) وَیَوْمَAnd (the) Day یُحْشَرُwill be gathered اَعْدَآءُ(the) enemies اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِلَیto النَّارِthe Fire فَهُمْthen they یُوْزَعُوْنَwill be assembled in rows ۟(19) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen مَاwhen جَآءُوْهَاthey come to it شَهِدَ(will) testify عَلَیْهِمْagainst them سَمْعُهُمْtheir hearing وَاَبْصَارُهُمْand their sight وَجُلُوْدُهُمْand their skins بِمَا(as) to what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(20) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 478 - Juz 24 وَقَالُوْاAnd they will say لِجُلُوْدِهِمْto their skins لِمَWhy do شَهِدْتُّمْyou testify عَلَیْنَا ؕagainst us قَالُوْۤاThey will say اَنْطَقَنَاAllah made us speak اللّٰهُAllah made us speak الَّذِیْۤthe One Who اَنْطَقَmakes speak كُلَّevery شَیْءٍthing وَّهُوَand He خَلَقَكُمْcreated you اَوَّلَ(the) first مَرَّةٍtime وَّاِلَیْهِand to Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(21) وَمَاAnd not كُنْتُمْyou were تَسْتَتِرُوْنَcovering yourselves اَنْlest یَّشْهَدَtestify عَلَیْكُمْagainst you سَمْعُكُمْyour hearing وَلَاۤand not اَبْصَارُكُمْyour sight وَلَاand not جُلُوْدُكُمْyour skins وَلٰكِنْbut ظَنَنْتُمْyou assumed اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَعْلَمُknow كَثِیْرًاmuch مِّمَّاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟(22) وَذٰلِكُمْAnd that ظَنُّكُمُ(was) your assumption الَّذِیْwhich ظَنَنْتُمْyou assumed بِرَبِّكُمْabout your Lord اَرْدٰىكُمْIt has ruined you فَاَصْبَحْتُمْand you have become مِّنَof الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(23) فَاِنْThen if یَّصْبِرُوْاthey endure فَالنَّارُthe Fire مَثْوًی(is) an abode لَّهُمْ ۚfor them وَاِنْand if یَّسْتَعْتِبُوْاthey ask for favor فَمَاthen not هُمْthey مِّنَ(will be) of الْمُعْتَبِیْنَthose who receive favor ۟(24) وَقَیَّضْنَاAnd We have destined لَهُمْfor them قُرَنَآءَcompanions فَزَیَّنُوْا(who) made fair-seeming لَهُمْto them مَّاwhat بَیْنَ(was) before them اَیْدِیْهِمْ(was) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ(was) behind them وَحَقَّand (is) justified عَلَیْهِمُagainst them الْقَوْلُthe Word فِیْۤamong اُمَمٍnations قَدْ(that have) passed away خَلَتْ(that have) passed away مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them مِّنَof الْجِنِّthe jinn وَالْاِنْسِ ۚand the men اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاwere خٰسِرِیْنَlosers ۟۠(25) وَقَالَAnd said الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve لَا(Do) not تَسْمَعُوْاlisten لِهٰذَاto this الْقُرْاٰنِQuran وَالْغَوْاand make noise فِیْهِtherein لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَغْلِبُوْنَovercome ۟(26) فَلَنُذِیْقَنَّBut surely We will cause to taste الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve عَذَابًاa punishment شَدِیْدًا ۙsevere وَّلَنَجْزِیَنَّهُمْand surely We will recompense them اَسْوَاَ(the) worst الَّذِیْ(of) what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(27) ذٰلِكَThat جَزَآءُ(is the) recompense اَعْدَآءِ(of the) enemies اللّٰهِ(of) Allah النَّارُ ۚthe Fire لَهُمْfor them فِیْهَاtherein دَارُ(is the) home الْخُلْدِ ؕ(of) the eternity جَزَآءً(as) recompense بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to بِاٰیٰتِنَاof Our Verses یَجْحَدُوْنَreject ۟(28) وَقَالَAnd (will) say الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَرِنَاShow us الَّذَیْنِthose who اَضَلّٰنَاmisled us مِنَof الْجِنِّthe jinn وَالْاِنْسِand the men نَجْعَلْهُمَا(so) we may put them تَحْتَunder اَقْدَامِنَاour feet لِیَكُوْنَاthat they be مِنَof الْاَسْفَلِیْنَthe lowest ۟(29) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 479 - Juz 24 اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who قَالُوْاsay رَبُّنَاOur Lord اللّٰهُ(is) Allah ثُمَّthen اسْتَقَامُوْاstand firm تَتَنَزَّلُwill descend عَلَیْهِمُon them الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels اَلَّا(Do) not تَخَافُوْاfear وَلَاand (do) not تَحْزَنُوْاgrieve وَاَبْشِرُوْاbut receive the glad tidings بِالْجَنَّةِof Paradise الَّتِیْwhich كُنْتُمْyou were تُوْعَدُوْنَpromised ۟(30) نَحْنُWe اَوْلِیٰٓؤُكُمْ(are) your protectors فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَفِیand in الْاٰخِرَةِ ۚthe Hereafter وَلَكُمْAnd for you فِیْهَاtherein مَاwhatever تَشْتَهِیْۤdesire اَنْفُسُكُمْyour souls وَلَكُمْand for you فِیْهَاtherein مَاwhat تَدَّعُوْنَyou ask ۟ؕ(31) نُزُلًاA hospitable gift مِّنْfrom غَفُوْرٍ(the) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٍ(the) Most Merciful ۟۠(32) وَمَنْAnd who اَحْسَنُ(is) better قَوْلًا(in) speech مِّمَّنْthan (one) who دَعَاۤinvites اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah وَعَمِلَand does صَالِحًاrighteous (deeds) وَّقَالَand says اِنَّنِیْIndeed, I am مِنَof الْمُسْلِمِیْنَthose who submit ۟(33) وَلَاAnd not تَسْتَوِی(are) equal الْحَسَنَةُthe good (deed) وَلَاand السَّیِّئَةُ ؕthe evil (deed) اِدْفَعْRepel بِالَّتِیْby (that) which هِیَ[it] اَحْسَنُ(is) better فَاِذَاthen behold الَّذِیْOne who بَیْنَكَbetween you وَبَیْنَهٗand between him عَدَاوَةٌ(was) enmity كَاَنَّهٗ(will become) as if he وَلِیٌّ(was) a friend حَمِیْمٌintimate ۟(34) وَمَاAnd not یُلَقّٰىهَاۤit is granted اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَ(to) those who صَبَرُوْا ۚ(are) patient وَمَاand not یُلَقّٰىهَاۤit is granted اِلَّاexcept ذُوْ(to the) owner حَظٍّ(of) fortune عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟(35) وَاِمَّاAnd if یَنْزَغَنَّكَwhisper comes to you مِنَfrom الشَّیْطٰنِthe Shaitaan نَزْغٌan evil suggestion فَاسْتَعِذْthen seek refuge بِاللّٰهِ ؕin Allah اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَ[He] السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟(36) وَمِنْAnd of اٰیٰتِهِHis Signs الَّیْلُ(are) the night وَالنَّهَارُand the day وَالشَّمْسُand the sun وَالْقَمَرُ ؕand the moon لَا(Do) not تَسْجُدُوْاprostrate لِلشَّمْسِto the sun وَلَاand not لِلْقَمَرِto the moon وَاسْجُدُوْاbut prostrate لِلّٰهِto Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَهُنَّcreated them اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou اِیَّاهُHim alone تَعْبُدُوْنَworship ۟(37) فَاِنِBut if اسْتَكْبَرُوْاthey are arrogant فَالَّذِیْنَthen those who عِنْدَ(are) near رَبِّكَyour Lord یُسَبِّحُوْنَglorify لَهٗHim بِالَّیْلِby night وَالنَّهَارِand day وَهُمْAnd they لَا(do) not یَسْـَٔمُوْنَtire ۟(38) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 480 - Juz 24 وَمِنْAnd among اٰیٰتِهٖۤHis Signs اَنَّكَ(is) that you تَرَیsee الْاَرْضَthe earth خَاشِعَةًbarren فَاِذَاۤbut when اَنْزَلْنَاWe send down عَلَیْهَاupon it الْمَآءَwater اهْتَزَّتْit is stirred (to life) وَرَبَتْ ؕand grows اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْۤthe One Who اَحْیَاهَاgives it life لَمُحْیِ(is) surely the Giver of life الْمَوْتٰی ؕ(to) the dead اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(39) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یُلْحِدُوْنَdistort فِیْۤ[in] اٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses لَا(are) not یَخْفَوْنَhidden عَلَیْنَا ؕfrom Us اَفَمَنْSo, is (he) who یُّلْقٰیis cast فِیin النَّارِthe Fire خَیْرٌbetter اَمْor مَّنْ(he) who یَّاْتِیْۤcomes اٰمِنًاsecure یَّوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) Resurrection اِعْمَلُوْاDo مَاwhat شِئْتُمْ ۙyou will اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(40) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِالذِّكْرِin the Reminder لَمَّاwhen جَآءَهُمْ ۚit comes to them وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, it لَكِتٰبٌ(is) surely a Book عَزِیْزٌmighty ۟ۙ(41) لَّاNot یَاْتِیْهِcomes to it الْبَاطِلُthe falsehood مِنْfrom بَیْنِbefore it یَدَیْهِbefore it وَلَاand not مِنْfrom خَلْفِهٖ ؕbehind it تَنْزِیْلٌA Revelation مِّنْfrom حَكِیْمٍ(the) All-Wise حَمِیْدٍ(the) Praiseworthy ۟(42) مَاNot یُقَالُis said لَكَto you اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat قَدْwas said قِیْلَwas said لِلرُّسُلِto the Messengers مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَ ؕbefore you اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لَذُوْ(is) Possessor مَغْفِرَةٍ(of) forgiveness وَّذُوْand Possessor عِقَابٍ(of) penalty اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟(43) وَلَوْAnd if جَعَلْنٰهُWe (had) made it قُرْاٰنًاa Quran اَعْجَمِیًّا(in) a foreign (language) لَّقَالُوْاthey (would have) said لَوْلَاWhy not فُصِّلَتْare explained in detail اٰیٰتُهٗ ؕits verses ءَؔاَعْجَمِیٌّ(Is it) a foreign (language) وَّعَرَبِیٌّ ؕand an Arab قُلْSay هُوَIt (is) لِلَّذِیْنَfor those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve هُدًیa guidance وَّشِفَآءٌ ؕand a healing وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve فِیْۤin اٰذَانِهِمْtheir ears وَقْرٌ(is) deafness وَّهُوَand it عَلَیْهِمْ(is) for them عَمًی ؕblindness اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose یُنَادَوْنَare being called مِنْfrom مَّكَانٍa place بَعِیْدٍfar ۟۠(44) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنَاWe gave مُوْسَیMusa الْكِتٰبَthe Book فَاخْتُلِفَbut disputes arose فِیْهِ ؕtherein وَلَوْلَاAnd had it not been كَلِمَةٌ(for) a word سَبَقَتْ(that) preceded مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord لَقُضِیَsurely, would have been settled بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them وَاِنَّهُمْBut indeed, they لَفِیْsurely (are) in شَكٍّdoubt مِّنْهُabout it مُرِیْبٍdisquieting ۟(45) مَنْWhoever عَمِلَdoes صَالِحًاrighteous deeds فَلِنَفْسِهٖ ۚthen it is for his soul وَمَنْand whoever اَسَآءَdoes evil فَعَلَیْهَا ؕthen it is against it وَمَاAnd not رَبُّكَ(is) your Lord بِظَلَّامٍunjust لِّلْعَبِیْدِto His slaves ۟(46) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 481 - Juz 24 اِلَیْهِTo Him یُرَدُّis referred عِلْمُ(the) knowledge السَّاعَةِ ؕ(of) the Hour وَمَاAnd not تَخْرُجُcomes out مِنْany ثَمَرٰتٍfruits مِّنْfrom اَكْمَامِهَاtheir coverings وَمَاand not تَحْمِلُbears مِنْany اُfemale وَلَاand not تَضَعُgives birth اِلَّاexcept بِعِلْمِهٖ ؕwith His knowledge وَیَوْمَAnd (the) Day یُنَادِیْهِمْHe will call them اَیْنَWhere (are) شُرَكَآءِیْ ۙMy partners قَالُوْۤاThey will say اٰذَنّٰكَ ۙWe announce (to) You مَاnot مِنَّاamong us مِنْany شَهِیْدٍwitness ۟ۚ(47) وَضَلَّAnd lost عَنْهُمْfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey were یَدْعُوْنَinvoking مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَظَنُّوْاand they (will) be certain مَا(that) not لَهُمْfor them مِّنْany مَّحِیْصٍplace of escape ۟(48) لَا(Does) not یَسْـَٔمُget tired الْاِنْسَانُman مِنْof دُعَآءِpraying الْخَیْرِ ؗ(for) the good وَاِنْbut if مَّسَّهُtouches him الشَّرُّthe evil فَیَـُٔوْسٌthen he gives up hope قَنُوْطٌ(and) despairs ۟(49) وَلَىِٕنْAnd verily, if اَذَقْنٰهُWe let him taste رَحْمَةًmercy مِّنَّاfrom Us مِنْafter بَعْدِafter ضَرَّآءَan adversity مَسَّتْهُ(has) touched him لَیَقُوْلَنَّhe will surely say هٰذَاThis (is) لِیْ ۙ(due) to me وَمَاۤand not اَظُنُّI think السَّاعَةَthe Hour قَآىِٕمَةً ۙ(will be) established وَّلَىِٕنْand if رُّجِعْتُI am returned اِلٰیto رَبِّیْۤmy Lord اِنَّindeed لِیْfor me عِنْدَهٗwith Him لَلْحُسْنٰی ۚ(will be) the best فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّBut We will surely inform الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved بِمَاabout what عَمِلُوْا ؗthey did وَلَنُذِیْقَنَّهُمْand We will surely make them taste مِّنْof عَذَابٍa punishment غَلِیْظٍsevere ۟(50) وَاِذَاۤAnd when اَنْعَمْنَاWe bestow favor عَلَیupon الْاِنْسَانِman اَعْرَضَhe turns away وَنَاٰand distances himself بِجَانِبِهٖ ۚand distances himself وَاِذَاbut when مَسَّهُtouches him الشَّرُّthe evil فَذُوْthen (he is) full دُعَآءٍ(of) supplication عَرِیْضٍlengthy ۟(51) قُلْSay اَرَءَیْتُمْYou see اِنْif كَانَit is مِنْfrom عِنْدِfrom اللّٰهِAllah ثُمَّthen كَفَرْتُمْyou disbelieve بِهٖin it مَنْwho اَضَلُّ(is) more astray مِمَّنْthan (one) who هُوَhe فِیْ(is) in شِقَاقٍopposition بَعِیْدٍfar ۟(52) سَنُرِیْهِمْSoon We will show them اٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs فِیin الْاٰفَاقِthe horizons وَفِیْۤand in اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves حَتّٰیuntil یَتَبَیَّنَbecomes clear لَهُمْto them اَنَّهُthat it الْحَقُّ ؕ(is) the truth اَوَلَمْIs (it) not یَكْفِsufficient بِرَبِّكَconcerning your Lord اَنَّهٗthat He عَلٰی(is) over كُلِّall شَیْءٍthings شَهِیْدٌa Witness ۟(53) اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّهُمْthey فِیْ(are) in مِرْیَةٍdoubt مِّنْabout لِّقَآءِ(the) meeting رَبِّهِمْ ؕ(with) their Lord اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّهٗindeed, He بِكُلِّ(is) of all شَیْءٍthings مُّحِیْطٌencompassing ۟۠(54) Surah 41. Fussilat - Page 482 - Juz 25 Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa (The Consultation) V53 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚ(1) عٓسٓقٓAyn Seen Qaaf ۟(2) كَذٰلِكَThus یُوْحِیْۤreveals اِلَیْكَto you وَاِلَیand to الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَ ۙbefore you اللّٰهُAllah الْعَزِیْزُthe All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟(3) لَهٗTo Him مَا(belong) whatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth وَهُوَand He الْعَلِیُّ(is) the Most High الْعَظِیْمُthe Most Great ۟(4) تَكَادُAlmost السَّمٰوٰتُthe heavens یَتَفَطَّرْنَbreak up مِنْfrom فَوْقِهِنَّabove them وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُand the Angels یُسَبِّحُوْنَglorify بِحَمْدِ(the) praise رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَیَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَand ask for forgiveness لِمَنْfor those فِیon الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe الْغَفُوْرُ(is) the Oft-Forgiving الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(5) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اتَّخَذُوْاtake مِنْbesides دُوْنِهٖۤbesides اَوْلِیَآءَprotectors اللّٰهُAllah حَفِیْظٌ(is) a Guardian عَلَیْهِمْ ۖؗover them وَمَاۤand not اَنْتَyou عَلَیْهِمْ(are) over them بِوَكِیْلٍa manager ۟(6) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you قُرْاٰنًاa Quran عَرَبِیًّا(in) Arabic لِّتُنْذِرَthat you may warn اُمَّ(the) mother الْقُرٰی(of) the towns وَمَنْand whoever حَوْلَهَا(is) around it وَتُنْذِرَand warn یَوْمَ(of the) Day الْجَمْعِ(of) Assembly لَا(there is) no رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهِ ؕin it فَرِیْقٌA party فِی(will be) in الْجَنَّةِParadise وَفَرِیْقٌand a party فِیin السَّعِیْرِthe Blazing Fire ۟(7) وَلَوْAnd if شَآءَAllah willed اللّٰهُAllah willed لَجَعَلَهُمْHe could have made them اُمَّةًa community وَّاحِدَةًone وَّلٰكِنْbut یُّدْخِلُHe admits مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills فِیْin (to) رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕHis Mercy وَالظّٰلِمُوْنَAnd the wrongdoers مَاnot لَهُمْfor them مِّنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍany helper ۟(8) اَمِOr اتَّخَذُوْاhave they taken مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهٖۤbesides Him اَوْلِیَآءَ ۚprotectors فَاللّٰهُBut Allah هُوَHe الْوَلِیُّ(is) the Protector وَهُوَand He یُحْیِgives life الْمَوْتٰی ؗ(to) the dead وَهُوَAnd He عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟۠(9) وَمَاAnd whatever اخْتَلَفْتُمْyou differ فِیْهِin it مِنْof شَیْءٍa thing فَحُكْمُهٗۤthen its ruling اِلَی(is) to اللّٰهِ ؕAllah ذٰلِكُمُThat اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبِّیْmy Lord عَلَیْهِupon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖۗI put my trust وَاِلَیْهِand to Him اُنِیْبُI turn ۟(10) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 483 - Juz 25 فَاطِرُ(The) Creator السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth جَعَلَHe made لَكُمْfor you مِّنْfrom اَنْفُسِكُمْyourselves اَزْوَاجًاmates وَّمِنَand among الْاَنْعَامِthe cattle اَزْوَاجًا ۚmates یَذْرَؤُكُمْHe multiplies you فِیْهِ ؕthereby لَیْسَ(There) is not كَمِثْلِهٖlike Him شَیْءٌ ۚanything وَهُوَand He السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْبَصِیْرُthe All-Seer ۟(11) لَهٗTo Him (belongs) مَقَالِیْدُ(the) keys السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ۚand the earth یَبْسُطُHe extends الرِّزْقَthe provision لِمَنْfor whom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَقْدِرُ ؕand restricts اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟(12) شَرَعَHe has ordained لَكُمْfor you مِّنَof الدِّیْنِthe religion مَاwhat وَصّٰیHe enjoined بِهٖupon نُوْحًاNuh وَّالَّذِیْۤand that which اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you وَمَاand what وَصَّیْنَاWe enjoined بِهٖۤupon اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim وَمُوْسٰیand Musa وَعِیْسٰۤیand Isa اَنْTo اَقِیْمُواestablish الدِّیْنَthe religion وَلَاand not تَتَفَرَّقُوْاbe divided فِیْهِ ؕtherein كَبُرَIs difficult عَلَیon الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists مَاwhat تَدْعُوْهُمْyou call them اِلَیْهِ ؕto it اَللّٰهُAllah یَجْتَبِیْۤchooses اِلَیْهِfor Himself مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills وَیَهْدِیْۤand guides اِلَیْهِto Himself مَنْwhoever یُّنِیْبُturns ۟ؕ(13) وَمَاAnd not تَفَرَّقُوْۤاthey became divided اِلَّاuntil مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْعِلْمُthe knowledge بَغْیًا(out of) rivalry بَیْنَهُمْ ؕamong them وَلَوْلَاAnd if not كَلِمَةٌ(for) a word سَبَقَتْ(that) preceded مِنْfrom رَّبِّكَyour Lord اِلٰۤیfor اَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّیspecified لَّقُضِیَsurely, it (would have) been settled بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them وَاِنَّAnd indeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْرِثُواwere made to inherit الْكِتٰبَthe Book مِنْafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them لَفِیْ(are) surely in شَكٍّdoubt مِّنْهُconcerning it مُرِیْبٍdisquieting ۟(14) فَلِذٰلِكَSo to that فَادْعُ ۚthen invite وَاسْتَقِمْand stand firm كَمَاۤas اُمِرْتَ ۚyou are commanded وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعْfollow اَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚtheir desires وَقُلْbut say اٰمَنْتُI believe بِمَاۤin what اَنْزَلَAllah has sent down اللّٰهُAllah has sent down مِنْof كِتٰبٍ ۚ(the) Book وَاُمِرْتُand I am commanded لِاَعْدِلَthat I do justice بَیْنَكُمْ ؕbetween you اَللّٰهُAllah رَبُّنَا(is) our Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ ؕand your Lord لَنَاۤFor us اَعْمَالُنَاour deeds وَلَكُمْand for you اَعْمَالُكُمْ ؕyour deeds لَا(There is) no حُجَّةَargument بَیْنَنَاbetween us وَبَیْنَكُمْ ؕand between you اَللّٰهُAllah یَجْمَعُwill assemble بَیْنَنَا ۚ[between] us وَاِلَیْهِand to Him الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the final return ۟ؕ(15) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 484 - Juz 25 وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُحَآجُّوْنَargue فِیconcerning اللّٰهِAllah مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] اسْتُجِیْبَresponse has been made to Him لَهٗresponse has been made to Him حُجَّتُهُمْtheir argument دَاحِضَةٌ(is) invalid عِنْدَwith رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَعَلَیْهِمْand upon them غَضَبٌ(is) wrath وَّلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment شَدِیْدٌsevere ۟(16) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَنْزَلَ(has) sent down الْكِتٰبَthe Book بِالْحَقِّin truth وَالْمِیْزَانَ ؕand the Balance وَمَاAnd what یُدْرِیْكَwill make you know لَعَلَّPerhaps السَّاعَةَthe Hour قَرِیْبٌ(is) near ۟(17) یَسْتَعْجِلُSeek to hasten بِهَا[of] it الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِهَا ۚin it وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve مُشْفِقُوْنَ(are) fearful مِنْهَا ۙof it وَیَعْلَمُوْنَand know اَنَّهَاthat it الْحَقُّ ؕ(is) the truth اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّindeed الَّذِیْنَthose who یُمَارُوْنَdispute فِیconcerning السَّاعَةِthe Hour لَفِیْ(are) certainly in ضَلٰلٍerror بَعِیْدٍfar ۟(18) اَللّٰهُAllah لَطِیْفٌ(is) Subtle بِعِبَادِهٖwith His slaves یَرْزُقُHe gives provision مَنْ(to) whom یَّشَآءُ ۚHe wills وَهُوَAnd He الْقَوِیُّ(is) the All-Strong الْعَزِیْزُthe All-Mighty ۟۠(19) مَنْWhoever كَانَis یُرِیْدُdesiring حَرْثَ(the) harvest الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter نَزِدْWe increase لَهٗfor him فِیْin حَرْثِهٖ ۚhis harvest وَمَنْAnd whoever كَانَis یُرِیْدُdesiring حَرْثَ(the) harvest الدُّنْیَا(of) the world نُؤْتِهٖWe give him مِنْهَا ۙof it وَمَاbut not لَهٗfor him فِیin الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter مِنْany نَّصِیْبٍshare ۟(20) اَمْOr لَهُمْfor them شُرَكٰٓؤُا(are) partners شَرَعُوْاwho have ordained لَهُمْfor them مِّنَof الدِّیْنِthe religion مَاwhat لَمْnot یَاْذَنْAllah has given permission of it بِهِAllah has given permission of it اللّٰهُ ؕAllah has given permission of it وَلَوْلَاAnd if not كَلِمَةُ(for) a word الْفَصْلِdecisive لَقُضِیَsurely, it (would have) been judged بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them وَاِنَّAnd indeed الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is a) punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(21) تَرَیYou will see الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers مُشْفِقِیْنَfearful مِمَّاof what كَسَبُوْاthey earned وَهُوَand it وَاقِعٌ(will) befall بِهِمْ ؕ[on] them وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds فِیْ(will be) in رَوْضٰتِflowering meadows الْجَنّٰتِ ۚ(of) the Gardens لَهُمْfor them مَّا(is) whatever یَشَآءُوْنَthey wish عِنْدَwith رَبِّهِمْ ؕtheir Lord ذٰلِكَThat هُوَit الْفَضْلُ(is) the Bounty الْكَبِیْرُthe Great ۟(22) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 485 - Juz 25 ذٰلِكَThat الَّذِیْ(is of) which یُبَشِّرُAllah gives glad tidings اللّٰهُAllah gives glad tidings عِبَادَهُ(to) His slaves الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِ ؕrighteous deeds قُلْSay لَّاۤNot اَسْـَٔلُكُمْI ask you عَلَیْهِfor it اَجْرًاany payment اِلَّاexcept الْمَوَدَّةَthe love فِیamong الْقُرْبٰی ؕthe relatives وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّقْتَرِفْearns حَسَنَةًany good نَّزِدْWe increase لَهٗfor him فِیْهَاtherein حُسْنًا ؕgood اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving شَكُوْرٌAll-Appreciative ۟(23) اَمْOr یَقُوْلُوْنَ(do) they say افْتَرٰیHe has invented عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًا ۚa lie فَاِنْBut if یَّشَاِAllah willed اللّٰهُAllah willed یَخْتِمْHe would seal عَلٰی[over] قَلْبِكَ ؕyour heart وَیَمْحُAnd Allah eliminates اللّٰهُAnd Allah eliminates الْبَاطِلَthe falsehood وَیُحِقُّand establishes الْحَقَّthe truth بِكَلِمٰتِهٖ ؕby His Words اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knowing بِذَاتِof what الصُّدُوْرِ(is in) the breasts ۟(24) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یَقْبَلُaccepts التَّوْبَةَthe repentance عَنْof عِبَادِهٖHis slaves وَیَعْفُوْاand pardons عَنِ[of] السَّیِّاٰتِthe evil وَیَعْلَمُand He knows مَاwhat تَفْعَلُوْنَyou do ۟ۙ(25) وَیَسْتَجِیْبُAnd He answers الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِrighteous deeds وَیَزِیْدُهُمْand increases (for) them مِّنْfrom فَضْلِهٖ ؕHis Bounty وَالْكٰفِرُوْنَAnd the disbelievers لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(will be) a punishment شَدِیْدٌsevere ۟(26) وَلَوْAnd if بَسَطَAllah extends اللّٰهُAllah extends الرِّزْقَthe provision لِعِبَادِهٖfor His slaves لَبَغَوْاsurely they would rebel فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَلٰكِنْbut یُّنَزِّلُHe sends down بِقَدَرٍin (due) measure مَّاwhat یَشَآءُ ؕHe wills اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِعِبَادِهٖof His slaves خَبِیْرٌ(is) All-Aware بَصِیْرٌAll-Seer ۟(27) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُنَزِّلُsends down الْغَیْثَthe rain مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] قَنَطُوْاthey have despaired وَیَنْشُرُand spreads رَحْمَتَهٗ ؕHis mercy وَهُوَAnd He الْوَلِیُّ(is) the Protector الْحَمِیْدُthe Praiseworthy ۟(28) وَمِنْAnd among اٰیٰتِهٖHis Signs خَلْقُ(is the) creation السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَثَّHe has dispersed فِیْهِمَاin both of them مِنْof دَآبَّةٍ ؕ(the) creatures وَهُوَAnd He عَلٰی(is) over جَمْعِهِمْtheir gathering اِذَاwhen یَشَآءُHe wills قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟۠(29) وَمَاۤAnd whatever اَصَابَكُمْbefalls you مِّنْof مُّصِیْبَةٍ(the) misfortune فَبِمَا(is because) of what كَسَبَتْhave earned اَیْدِیْكُمْyour hands وَیَعْفُوْاBut He pardons عَنْ[from] كَثِیْرٍmuch ۟ؕ(30) وَمَاۤAnd not اَنْتُمْyou بِمُعْجِزِیْنَ(can) escape فِیin الْاَرْضِ ۖۚthe earth وَمَاand not لَكُمْfor you مِّنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍany helper ۟(31) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 486 - Juz 25 وَمِنْAnd among اٰیٰتِهِHis Signs الْجَوَارِ(are) the ships فِیin الْبَحْرِthe sea كَالْاَعْلَامِlike [the] mountains ۟ؕ(32) اِنْIf یَّشَاْHe wills یُسْكِنِHe can cause the wind to become still الرِّیْحَHe can cause the wind to become still فَیَظْلَلْنَthen they would remain رَوَاكِدَmotionless عَلٰیon ظَهْرِهٖ ؕits back اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّكُلِّfor everyone صَبَّارٍpatient شَكُوْرٍ(and) grateful ۟ۙ(33) اَوْOr یُوْبِقْهُنَّHe could destroy them بِمَاfor what كَسَبُوْاthey have earned وَیَعْفُbut He pardons عَنْ[from] كَثِیْرٍmuch ۟ؗۙ(34) وَّیَعْلَمَAnd may know الَّذِیْنَthose who یُجَادِلُوْنَdispute فِیْۤconcerning اٰیٰتِنَا ؕOur Signs مَا(that) not لَهُمْfor them مِّنْany مَّحِیْصٍplace of refuge ۟(35) فَمَاۤSo whatever اُوْتِیْتُمْyou are given مِّنْof شَیْءٍa thing فَمَتَاعُ(is) but a passing enjoyment الْحَیٰوةِ(for) the life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world وَمَاBut what عِنْدَ(is) with اللّٰهِAllah خَیْرٌ(is) better وَّاَبْقٰیand more lasting لِلَّذِیْنَfor those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَلٰیand upon رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord یَتَوَكَّلُوْنَput (their) trust ۟ۚ(36) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یَجْتَنِبُوْنَavoid كَبٰٓىِٕرَ(the) greater الْاِثْمِsins وَالْفَوَاحِشَand the immoralities وَاِذَاand when مَاand when غَضِبُوْاthey are angry هُمْthey یَغْفِرُوْنَforgive ۟ۚ(37) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اسْتَجَابُوْاrespond لِرَبِّهِمْto their Lord وَاَقَامُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَ ۪prayer وَاَمْرُهُمْand their affairs شُوْرٰی(are conducted by) consultation بَیْنَهُمْ ۪among them وَمِمَّاand from what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend ۟ۚ(38) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اِذَاۤwhen اَصَابَهُمُstrikes them الْبَغْیُtyranny هُمْthey یَنْتَصِرُوْنَdefend themselves ۟(39) وَجَزٰٓؤُا(The) recompense سَیِّئَةٍ(of) an evil سَیِّئَةٌ(is) an evil مِّثْلُهَا ۚlike it فَمَنْBut whoever عَفَاpardons وَاَصْلَحَand makes reconciliation فَاَجْرُهٗthen his reward عَلَی(is) on اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنَّهٗIndeed, He لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlike الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(40) وَلَمَنِAnd surely whosoever انْتَصَرَdefends himself بَعْدَafter ظُلْمِهٖhe has been wronged فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those مَاnot عَلَیْهِمْ(is) against them مِّنْany سَبِیْلٍway ۟ؕ(41) اِنَّمَاOnly السَّبِیْلُthe way عَلَیagainst الَّذِیْنَthose who یَظْلِمُوْنَoppress النَّاسَthe people وَیَبْغُوْنَand rebel فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّ ؕright اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(42) وَلَمَنْAnd whoever صَبَرَ(is) patient وَغَفَرَand forgives اِنَّindeed ذٰلِكَthat لَمِنْ(is) surely of عَزْمِmatters of determination الْاُمُوْرِmatters of determination ۟۠(43) وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّضْلِلِAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector مِّنْafter Him بَعْدِهٖ ؕafter Him وَتَرَیAnd you will see الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers لَمَّاwhen رَاَوُاthey see الْعَذَابَthe punishment یَقُوْلُوْنَsaying هَلْIs اِلٰی(there) for مَرَدٍّreturn مِّنْany سَبِیْلٍway ۟ۚ(44) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 487 - Juz 25 وَتَرٰىهُمْAnd you will see them یُعْرَضُوْنَbeing exposed عَلَیْهَاto it خٰشِعِیْنَhumbled مِنَby الذُّلِّdisgrace یَنْظُرُوْنَlooking مِنْwith طَرْفٍa glance خَفِیٍّ ؕstealthy وَقَالَAnd will say الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieved اِنَّIndeed الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers الَّذِیْنَ(are) those who خَسِرُوْۤاlost اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves وَاَهْلِیْهِمْand their families یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) the Resurrection اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِنَّIndeed الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers فِیْ(are) in عَذَابٍa punishment مُّقِیْمٍlasting ۟(45) وَمَاAnd not كَانَwill be لَهُمْfor them مِّنْany اَوْلِیَآءَprotector یَنْصُرُوْنَهُمْ(who) will help them مِّنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَمَنْAnd whom یُّضْلِلِAllah lets go astray اللّٰهُAllah lets go astray فَمَاthen not لَهٗfor him مِنْany سَبِیْلٍway ۟ؕ(46) اِسْتَجِیْبُوْاRespond لِرَبِّكُمْto your Lord مِّنْbefore قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] یَّاْتِیَcomes یَوْمٌa Day لَّا(there is) no مَرَدَّaverting لَهٗfor it مِنَfrom اللّٰهِ ؕAllah مَاNot لَكُمْ(is) for you مِّنْany مَّلْجَاٍrefuge یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ(on) that Day وَّمَاand not لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany نَّكِیْرٍdenial ۟(47) فَاِنْThen if اَعْرَضُوْاthey turn away فَمَاۤthen not اَرْسَلْنٰكَWe have sent you عَلَیْهِمْover them حَفِیْظًا ؕ(as) a guardian اِنْNot عَلَیْكَ(is) on you اِلَّاexcept الْبَلٰغُ ؕthe conveyance وَاِنَّاۤAnd indeed اِذَاۤwhen اَذَقْنَاWe cause to taste الْاِنْسَانَ[the] man مِنَّاfrom Us رَحْمَةًMercy فَرِحَhe rejoices بِهَا ۚin it وَاِنْBut if تُصِبْهُمْbefalls them سَیِّئَةٌevil بِمَاfor what قَدَّمَتْhave sent forth اَیْدِیْهِمْtheir hands فَاِنَّthen indeed الْاِنْسَانَ[the] man كَفُوْرٌ(is) ungrateful ۟(48) لِلّٰهِTo Allah مُلْكُ(belongs the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth یَخْلُقُHe creates مَاwhat یَشَآءُ ؕHe wills یَهَبُHe grants لِمَنْto whom یَّشَآءُHe wills اِنَاثًاfemales وَّیَهَبُand He grants لِمَنْto whom یَّشَآءُHe wills الذُّكُوْرَ[the] males ۟ۙ(49) اَوْOr یُزَوِّجُهُمْHe grants them ذُكْرَانًاmales وَّاِنَاثًا ۚand females وَیَجْعَلُand He makes مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills عَقِیْمًا ؕbarren اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(50) وَمَاAnd not كَانَis لِبَشَرٍfor any human اَنْthat یُّكَلِّمَهُAllah should speak to him اللّٰهُAllah should speak to him اِلَّاexcept وَحْیًا(by) revelation اَوْor مِنْfrom وَّرَآئِbehind حِجَابٍa veil اَوْor یُرْسِلَ(by) sending رَسُوْلًاa messenger فَیُوْحِیَthen he reveals بِاِذْنِهٖby His permission مَاwhat یَشَآءُ ؕHe wills اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیٌّ(is) Most High حَكِیْمٌMost Wise ۟(51) Surah 42. Ash-Shuraa - Page 488 - Juz 25 وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus اَوْحَیْنَاۤWe have revealed اِلَیْكَto you رُوْحًاan inspiration مِّنْby اَمْرِنَا ؕOur Command مَاNot كُنْتَ(did) you تَدْرِیْknow مَاwhat الْكِتٰبُthe Book (is) وَلَاand not الْاِیْمَانُthe faith وَلٰكِنْBut جَعَلْنٰهُWe have made it نُوْرًاa light نَّهْدِیْWe guide بِهٖwith it مَنْwhom نَّشَآءُWe will مِنْof عِبَادِنَا ؕOur slaves وَاِنَّكَAnd indeed, you لَتَهْدِیْۤsurely guide اِلٰیto صِرَاطٍ(the) Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍStraight ۟ۙ(52) صِرَاطِ(The) path اللّٰهِ(of) Allah الَّذِیْthe One لَهٗto Whom مَا(belongs) whatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth اَلَاۤUnquestionably اِلَیTo اللّٰهِAllah تَصِیْرُreach الْاُمُوْرُall affairs ۟۠(53) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of Gold) V89 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚۛ(1) وَالْكِتٰبِBy the Book الْمُبِیْنِthe clear ۟ۙۛ(2) اِنَّاIndeed, We جَعَلْنٰهُ(have) made it قُرْءٰنًاa Quran عَرَبِیًّا(in) Arabic لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَعْقِلُوْنَunderstand ۟ۚ(3) وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, it فِیْۤ(is) in اُمِّ(the) Mother الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book لَدَیْنَاwith Us لَعَلِیٌّsurely exalted حَكِیْمٌfull of wisdom ۟ؕ(4) اَفَنَضْرِبُThen should We take away عَنْكُمُfrom you الذِّكْرَthe Reminder صَفْحًاdisregarding (you) اَنْbecause كُنْتُمْyou are قَوْمًاa people مُّسْرِفِیْنَtransgressing ۟(5) وَكَمْAnd how many اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْof نَّبِیٍّa Prophet فِیamong الْاَوَّلِیْنَthe former (people) ۟(6) وَمَاAnd not یَاْتِیْهِمْcame to them مِّنْany Prophet نَّبِیٍّany Prophet اِلَّاbut كَانُوْاthey used to بِهٖmock at him یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmock at him ۟(7) فَاَهْلَكْنَاۤThen We destroyed اَشَدَّstronger مِنْهُمْthan them بَطْشًا(in) power وَّمَضٰیand has passed مَثَلُ(the) example الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(8) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if سَاَلْتَهُمْyou ask them مَّنْWho خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth لَیَقُوْلُنَّThey will surely say خَلَقَهُنَّCreated them الْعَزِیْزُthe All-Mighty الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟ۙ(9) الَّذِیْThe One Who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you الْاَرْضَthe earth مَهْدًاa bed وَّجَعَلَand made لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاtherein سُبُلًاroads لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَهْتَدُوْنَ(be) guided ۟ۚ(10) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 489 - Juz 25 وَالَّذِیْAnd the One Who نَزَّلَsends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater بِقَدَرٍ ۚin (due) measure فَاَنْشَرْنَاthen We revive بِهٖwith it بَلْدَةًa land مَّیْتًا ۚdead كَذٰلِكَthus تُخْرَجُوْنَyou will be brought forth ۟(11) وَالَّذِیْAnd the One Who خَلَقَcreated الْاَزْوَاجَthe pairs كُلَّهَاall of them وَجَعَلَand made لَكُمْfor you مِّنَ[of] الْفُلْكِthe ships وَالْاَنْعَامِand the cattle مَاwhat تَرْكَبُوْنَyou ride ۟ۙ(12) لِتَسْتَوٗاThat you may sit firmly عَلٰیon ظُهُوْرِهٖtheir backs ثُمَّthen تَذْكُرُوْاremember نِعْمَةَ(the) favor رَبِّكُمْ(of) your Lord اِذَاwhen اسْتَوَیْتُمْyou sit firmly عَلَیْهِon them وَتَقُوْلُوْاand say سُبْحٰنَGlory be (to) الَّذِیْthe One Who سَخَّرَ(has) subjected لَنَاto us هٰذَاthis وَمَاand not كُنَّاwe were لَهٗof it مُقْرِنِیْنَcapable ۟ۙ(13) وَاِنَّاۤAnd indeed, we اِلٰیto رَبِّنَاour Lord لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنَwill surely return ۟(14) وَجَعَلُوْاBut they attribute لَهٗto Him مِنْfrom عِبَادِهٖHis slaves جُزْءًا ؕa portion اِنَّIndeed الْاِنْسَانَman لَكَفُوْرٌsurely (is) clearly ungrateful مُّبِیْنٌsurely (is) clearly ungrateful ۟ؕ۠(15) اَمِOr اتَّخَذَhas He taken مِمَّاof what یَخْلُقُHe has created بَنٰتٍdaughters وَّاَصْفٰىكُمْand He has chosen (for) you بِالْبَنِیْنَsons ۟(16) وَاِذَاAnd when بُشِّرَis given good news اَحَدُهُمْ(to) one of them بِمَاof what ضَرَبَhe sets up لِلرَّحْمٰنِfor the Most Gracious مَثَلًا(as) a likeness ظَلَّbecomes وَجْهُهٗhis face مُسْوَدًّاdark وَّهُوَand he كَظِیْمٌ(is) filled with grief ۟(17) اَوَمَنْThen (is one) who یُّنَشَّؤُاis brought up فِیin الْحِلْیَةِornaments وَهُوَand he فِیin الْخِصَامِthe dispute غَیْرُ(is) not مُبِیْنٍclear ۟(18) وَجَعَلُواAnd they made الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةَthe Angels الَّذِیْنَthose who هُمْthemselves عِبٰدُ(are) slaves الرَّحْمٰنِ(of) the Most Gracious اِنَاثًا ؕfemales اَشَهِدُوْاDid they witness خَلْقَهُمْ ؕtheir creation سَتُكْتَبُWill be recorded شَهَادَتُهُمْtheir testimony وَیُسْـَٔلُوْنَand they will be questioned ۟(19) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say لَوْIf شَآءَhad willed الرَّحْمٰنُthe Most Gracious مَاwe would not have worshipped them عَبَدْنٰهُمْ ؕwe would not have worshipped them مَاNot لَهُمْthey have بِذٰلِكَabout that مِنْany عِلْمٍ ۗknowledge اِنْNothing هُمْthey (do) اِلَّاbut یَخْرُصُوْنَlie ۟ؕ(20) اَمْOr اٰتَیْنٰهُمْhave We given them كِتٰبًاa book مِّنْbefore it قَبْلِهٖbefore it فَهُمْso they بِهٖto it مُسْتَمْسِكُوْنَ(are) holding fast ۟(21) بَلْNay قَالُوْۤاthey say اِنَّاIndeed, we وَجَدْنَاۤ[we] found اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers عَلٰۤیupon اُمَّةٍa religion وَّاِنَّاand indeed, we عَلٰۤیon اٰثٰرِهِمْtheir footsteps مُّهْتَدُوْنَ(are) guided ۟(22) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 490 - Juz 25 وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus مَاۤnot اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you فِیْin قَرْیَةٍa town مِّنْany نَّذِیْرٍwarner اِلَّاexcept قَالَsaid مُتْرَفُوْهَاۤ ۙ(the) wealthy ones of it اِنَّاIndeed, we وَجَدْنَاۤ[we] found اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers عَلٰۤیon اُمَّةٍa religion وَّاِنَّاand indeed, we عَلٰۤی[on] اٰثٰرِهِمْtheir footsteps مُّقْتَدُوْنَ(are) following ۟(23) قٰلَHe said اَوَلَوْEven if جِئْتُكُمْI brought you بِاَهْدٰیbetter guidance مِمَّاthan what وَجَدْتُّمْyou found عَلَیْهِon it اٰبَآءَكُمْ ؕyour forefathers قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنَّاIndeed, we بِمَاۤwith what اُرْسِلْتُمْyou are sent بِهٖwith [it] كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(24) فَانْتَقَمْنَاSo We took retribution مِنْهُمْfrom them فَانْظُرْThen see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الْمُكَذِّبِیْنَ(of) the deniers ۟۠(25) وَاِذْAnd when قَالَIbrahim Said اِبْرٰهِیْمُIbrahim Said لِاَبِیْهِto his father وَقَوْمِهٖۤand his people اِنَّنِیْIndeed, I (am) بَرَآءٌdisassociated مِّمَّاfrom what تَعْبُدُوْنَyou worship ۟ۙ(26) اِلَّاExcept الَّذِیْthe One Who فَطَرَنِیْcreated me فَاِنَّهٗand indeed, He سَیَهْدِیْنِwill guide me ۟(27) وَجَعَلَهَاAnd he made it كَلِمَةًa word بَاقِیَةًlasting فِیْamong عَقِبِهٖhis descendents لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(28) بَلْNay مَتَّعْتُI gave enjoyment هٰۤؤُلَآءِ(to) these وَاٰبَآءَهُمْand their forefathers حَتّٰیuntil جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْحَقُّthe truth وَرَسُوْلٌand a Messenger مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(29) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْحَقُّthe truth قَالُوْاthey said هٰذَاThis سِحْرٌ(is) magic وَّاِنَّاand indeed, we بِهٖof it كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(30) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say لَوْلَاWhy not نُزِّلَwas sent down هٰذَاthis الْقُرْاٰنُthe Quran عَلٰیto رَجُلٍa man مِّنَfrom الْقَرْیَتَیْنِthe two towns عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟(31) اَهُمْDo they یَقْسِمُوْنَdistribute رَحْمَتَ(the) Mercy رَبِّكَ ؕ(of) your Lord نَحْنُWe قَسَمْنَا[We] distribute بَیْنَهُمْamong them مَّعِیْشَتَهُمْtheir livelihood فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَرَفَعْنَاand We raise بَعْضَهُمْsome of them فَوْقَabove بَعْضٍothers دَرَجٰتٍ(in) degrees لِّیَتَّخِذَso that may take بَعْضُهُمْsome of them بَعْضًاothers سُخْرِیًّا ؕ(for) service وَرَحْمَتُBut (the) Mercy رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord خَیْرٌ(is) better مِّمَّاthan what یَجْمَعُوْنَthey accumulate ۟(32) وَلَوْلَاۤAnd if not اَنْthat یَّكُوْنَ(would) become النَّاسُ[the] mankind اُمَّةًa community وَّاحِدَةًone لَّجَعَلْنَاWe (would have) made لِمَنْfor (one) who یَّكْفُرُdisbelieves بِالرَّحْمٰنِin the Most Gracious لِبُیُوْتِهِمْfor their houses سُقُفًاroofs مِّنْof فِضَّةٍsilver وَّمَعَارِجَand stairways عَلَیْهَاupon which یَظْهَرُوْنَthey mount ۟ۙ(33) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 491 - Juz 25 وَلِبُیُوْتِهِمْAnd for their houses اَبْوَابًاdoors وَّسُرُرًاand couches عَلَیْهَاupon which یَتَّكِـُٔوْنَthey recline ۟ۙ(34) وَزُخْرُفًا ؕAnd ornaments of gold وَاِنْAnd not (is) كُلُّall ذٰلِكَthat لَمَّاbut مَتَاعُan enjoyment الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا ؕ(of) the world وَالْاٰخِرَةُAnd the Hereafter عِنْدَwith رَبِّكَyour Lord لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ(is) for the righteous ۟۠(35) وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّعْشُturns away عَنْfrom ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance الرَّحْمٰنِ(of) the Most Gracious نُقَیِّضْWe appoint لَهٗfor him شَیْطٰنًاa devil فَهُوَthen he لَهٗ(is) to him قَرِیْنٌa companion ۟(36) وَاِنَّهُمْAnd indeed, they لَیَصُدُّوْنَهُمْsurely, turn them عَنِfrom السَّبِیْلِthe Path وَیَحْسَبُوْنَand they think اَنَّهُمْthat they مُّهْتَدُوْنَ(are) guided ۟(37) حَتّٰۤیUntil اِذَاwhen جَآءَنَاhe comes to Us قَالَhe says یٰلَیْتَO would that بَیْنِیْbetween me وَبَیْنَكَand between you بُعْدَ(were the) distance الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ(of) the East and the West فَبِئْسَHow wretched is الْقَرِیْنُthe companion ۟(38) وَلَنْAnd never یَّنْفَعَكُمُwill benefit you الْیَوْمَthe Day اِذْwhen ظَّلَمْتُمْyou have wronged اَنَّكُمْthat you فِی(will be) in الْعَذَابِthe punishment مُشْتَرِكُوْنَsharing ۟(39) اَفَاَنْتَThen can you تُسْمِعُcause to hear الصُّمَّthe deaf اَوْor تَهْدِیguide الْعُمْیَthe blind وَمَنْand (one) who كَانَis فِیْin ضَلٰلٍan error مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(40) فَاِمَّاAnd whether نَذْهَبَنَّWe take you away بِكَWe take you away فَاِنَّاthen indeed, We مِنْهُمْfrom them مُّنْتَقِمُوْنَ(will) take retribution ۟ۙ(41) اَوْOr نُرِیَنَّكَWe show you الَّذِیْthat which وَعَدْنٰهُمْWe have promised them فَاِنَّاthen indeed, We عَلَیْهِمْover them مُّقْتَدِرُوْنَhave full power ۟(42) فَاسْتَمْسِكْSo hold fast بِالَّذِیْۤto that which اُوْحِیَis revealed اِلَیْكَ ۚto you اِنَّكَIndeed, you عَلٰی(are) on صِرَاطٍa Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٍStraight ۟(43) وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, it لَذِكْرٌ(is) surely, a Reminder لَّكَfor you وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۚand your people وَسَوْفَand soon تُسْـَٔلُوْنَyou will be questioned ۟(44) وَسْـَٔلْAnd ask مَنْ(those) whom اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you مِنْof رُّسُلِنَاۤOur Messengers اَجَعَلْنَاdid We make مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides الرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious اٰلِهَةًgods یُّعْبَدُوْنَto be worshipped ۟۠(45) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent مُوْسٰیMusa بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤwith Our Signs اِلٰیto فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهٖand his chiefs فَقَالَand he said اِنِّیْIndeed, I am رَسُوْلُa Messenger رَبِّ(of the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(46) فَلَمَّاBut when جَآءَهُمْhe came to them بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤwith Our Signs اِذَاbehold هُمْThey مِّنْهَاat them یَضْحَكُوْنَlaughed ۟(47) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 492 - Juz 25 وَمَاAnd not نُرِیْهِمْWe showed them مِّنْof اٰیَةٍa Sign اِلَّاbut هِیَit اَكْبَرُ(was) greater مِنْthan اُخْتِهَا ؗits sister وَاَخَذْنٰهُمْand We seized them بِالْعَذَابِwith the punishment لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(48) وَقَالُوْاAnd they said یٰۤاَیُّهَO السّٰحِرُ[the] magician ادْعُInvoke لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَyour Lord بِمَاby what عَهِدَHe has made covenant عِنْدَكَ ۚwith you اِنَّنَاIndeed, we لَمُهْتَدُوْنَ(will) surely be guided ۟(49) فَلَمَّاBut when كَشَفْنَاWe removed عَنْهُمُfrom them الْعَذَابَthe punishment اِذَاbehold هُمْThey یَنْكُثُوْنَbroke (their word) ۟(50) وَنَادٰیAnd called out فِرْعَوْنُFiraun فِیْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people قَالَhe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اَلَیْسَIs not لِیْfor me مُلْكُ(the) kingdom مِصْرَ(of) Egypt وَهٰذِهِand these الْاَنْهٰرُ[the] rivers تَجْرِیْflowing مِنْunderneath me تَحْتِیْ ۚunderneath me اَفَلَاThen do not تُبْصِرُوْنَyou see ۟ؕ(51) اَمْOr اَنَاam I خَیْرٌbetter مِّنْthan هٰذَاthis الَّذِیْone who هُوَhe مَهِیْنٌ ۙ۬(is) insignificant وَّلَاand hardly یَكَادُand hardly یُبِیْنُclear ۟(52) فَلَوْلَاۤThen why not اُلْقِیَare placed عَلَیْهِon him اَسْوِرَةٌbracelets مِّنْof ذَهَبٍgold اَوْor جَآءَcome مَعَهُwith him الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels مُقْتَرِنِیْنَaccompanying (him) ۟(53) فَاسْتَخَفَّSo he bluffed قَوْمَهٗhis people فَاَطَاعُوْهُ ؕand they obeyed him اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاwere قَوْمًاa people فٰسِقِیْنَdefiantly disobedient ۟(54) فَلَمَّاۤSo when اٰسَفُوْنَاthey angered Us انْتَقَمْنَاWe took retribution مِنْهُمْfrom them فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْand We drowned them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(55) فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْAnd We made them سَلَفًاa precedent وَّمَثَلًاand an example لِّلْاٰخِرِیْنَfor the later (generations) ۟۠(56) وَلَمَّاAnd when ضُرِبَis presented ابْنُ(the) son مَرْیَمَ(of) Maryam مَثَلًا(as) an example اِذَاbehold قَوْمُكَYour people مِنْهُabout it یَصِدُّوْنَlaughed aloud ۟(57) وَقَالُوْۤاAnd they said ءَاٰلِهَتُنَاAre our gods خَیْرٌbetter اَمْor هُوَ ؕhe مَاNot ضَرَبُوْهُthey present it لَكَto you اِلَّاexcept جَدَلًا ؕ(for) argument بَلْNay هُمْthey قَوْمٌ(are) a people خَصِمُوْنَargumentative ۟(58) اِنْNot هُوَhe اِلَّا(was) except عَبْدٌa slave اَنْعَمْنَاWe bestowed Our favor عَلَیْهِon him وَجَعَلْنٰهُand We made him مَثَلًاan example لِّبَنِیْۤfor (the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَfor (the) Children of Israel ۟ؕ(59) وَلَوْAnd if نَشَآءُWe willed لَجَعَلْنَاsurely We (could have) made مِنْكُمْamong you مَّلٰٓىِٕكَةًAngels فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth یَخْلُفُوْنَsucceeding ۟(60) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 493 - Juz 25 وَاِنَّهٗAnd indeed, it لَعِلْمٌsurely (is) a knowledge لِّلسَّاعَةِof the Hour فَلَاSo (do) not تَمْتَرُنَّ(be) doubtful بِهَاabout it وَاتَّبِعُوْنِ ؕand follow Me هٰذَاThis صِرَاطٌ(is the) Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٌStraight ۟(61) وَلَاAnd (let) not یَصُدَّنَّكُمُavert you الشَّیْطٰنُ ۚthe Shaitaan اِنَّهٗIndeed, he لَكُمْ(is) for you عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(62) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَcame عِیْسٰیIsa بِالْبَیِّنٰتِwith clear proofs قَالَhe said قَدْVerily جِئْتُكُمْI have come to you بِالْحِكْمَةِwith wisdom وَلِاُبَیِّنَand that I make clear لَكُمْto you بَعْضَsome الَّذِیْ(of) that which تَخْتَلِفُوْنَyou differ فِیْهِ ۚin it فَاتَّقُواSo fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاَطِیْعُوْنِand obey me ۟(63) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe رَبِّیْ(is) my Lord وَرَبُّكُمْand your Lord فَاعْبُدُوْهُ ؕso worship Him هٰذَاThis صِرَاطٌ(is) a Path مُّسْتَقِیْمٌStraight ۟(64) فَاخْتَلَفَBut differed الْاَحْزَابُthe factions مِنْfrom بَیْنِهِمْ ۚamong them فَوَیْلٌso woe لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who ظَلَمُوْاwronged مِنْfrom عَذَابِ(the) punishment یَوْمٍ(of the) Day اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟(65) هَلْAre یَنْظُرُوْنَthey waiting اِلَّاexcept السَّاعَةَ(for) the Hour اَنْthat تَاْتِیَهُمْit should come on them بَغْتَةًsuddenly وَّهُمْwhile they لَا(do) not یَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟(66) اَلْاَخِلَّآءُFriends یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat Day بَعْضُهُمْsome of them لِبَعْضٍto others عَدُوٌّ(will be) enemies اِلَّاexcept الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟ؕ۠(67) یٰعِبَادِO My slaves لَاNo خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْكُمُon you الْیَوْمَthis Day وَلَاۤand not اَنْتُمْyou تَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟ۚ(68) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved بِاٰیٰتِنَاin Our Verses وَكَانُوْاand were مُسْلِمِیْنَsubmissive ۟ۚ(69) اُدْخُلُواEnter الْجَنَّةَParadise اَنْتُمْyou وَاَزْوَاجُكُمْand your spouses تُحْبَرُوْنَdelighted ۟(70) یُطَافُWill be circulated عَلَیْهِمْfor them بِصِحَافٍplates مِّنْof ذَهَبٍgold وَّاَكْوَابٍ ۚand cups وَفِیْهَاAnd therein مَا(is) what تَشْتَهِیْهِdesires الْاَنْفُسُthe souls وَتَلَذُّand delights الْاَعْیُنُ ۚthe eyes وَاَنْتُمْand you فِیْهَاtherein خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟ۚ(71) وَتِلْكَAnd this الْجَنَّةُ(is) the Paradise الَّتِیْۤwhich اُوْرِثْتُمُوْهَاyou are made to inherit بِمَاfor what كُنْتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(72) لَكُمْFor you فِیْهَاtherein فَاكِهَةٌ(are) fruits كَثِیْرَةٌabundant مِّنْهَاfrom it تَاْكُلُوْنَyou will eat ۟(73) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 494 - Juz 25 اِنَّIndeed الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals فِیْ(will be) in عَذَابِ(the) punishment جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خٰلِدُوْنَabiding forever ۟ۚۖ(74) لَاNot یُفَتَّرُwill it subside عَنْهُمْfor them وَهُمْand they فِیْهِin it مُبْلِسُوْنَ(will) despair ۟ۚ(75) وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمْنٰهُمْWe wronged them وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْاthey were هُمُthemselves الظّٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(76) وَنَادَوْاAnd they will call یٰمٰلِكُO Malik لِیَقْضِLet put an end عَلَیْنَاto us رَبُّكَ ؕyour Lord قَالَHe (will) say اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you مّٰكِثُوْنَ(will) remain ۟(77) لَقَدْCertainly جِئْنٰكُمْWe have brought you بِالْحَقِّthe truth وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَكُمْmost of you لِلْحَقِّto the truth كٰرِهُوْنَ(are) averse ۟(78) اَمْOr اَبْرَمُوْۤاhave they determined اَمْرًاan affair فَاِنَّاThen indeed, We مُبْرِمُوْنَ(are) determined ۟ۚ(79) اَمْOr یَحْسَبُوْنَ(do) they think اَنَّاthat We لَا(can) not نَسْمَعُhear سِرَّهُمْtheir secret(s) وَنَجْوٰىهُمْ ؕand their private counsel(s) بَلٰیNay وَرُسُلُنَاand Our Messengers لَدَیْهِمْwith them یَكْتُبُوْنَare recording ۟(80) قُلْSay اِنْIf كَانَhad لِلرَّحْمٰنِthe Most Gracious وَلَدٌ ۖۗa son فَاَنَاThen, I اَوَّلُ(would be the) first الْعٰبِدِیْنَ(of) the worshippers ۟(81) سُبْحٰنَGlory be رَبِّ(to the) Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth رَبِّ(the) Lord الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne عَمَّاabove what یَصِفُوْنَthey ascribe ۟(82) فَذَرْهُمْSo leave them یَخُوْضُوْا(to) converse vainly وَیَلْعَبُوْاand play حَتّٰیuntil یُلٰقُوْاthey meet یَوْمَهُمُtheir Day الَّذِیْwhich یُوْعَدُوْنَthey are promised ۟(83) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who فِی(is) in السَّمَآءِthe heaven اِلٰهٌGod وَّفِیand in الْاَرْضِthe earth اِلٰهٌ ؕGod وَهُوَAnd He الْحَكِیْمُ(is) the All-Wise الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟(84) وَتَبٰرَكَAnd blessed (is) الَّذِیْthe One Who لَهٗto Whom مُلْكُ(belongs the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا ۚ(is) between both of them وَعِنْدَهٗand with Him عِلْمُ(is the) knowledge السَّاعَةِ ۚ(of) the Hour وَاِلَیْهِand to Him تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(85) وَلَاAnd not یَمْلِكُhave power الَّذِیْنَthose whom یَدْعُوْنَthey invoke مِنْbesides Him دُوْنِهِbesides Him الشَّفَاعَةَ(for) the intercession اِلَّاexcept مَنْwho شَهِدَtestifies بِالْحَقِّto the truth وَهُمْand they یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(86) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if سَاَلْتَهُمْyou ask them مَّنْwho خَلَقَهُمْcreated them لَیَقُوْلُنَّthey will certainly say اللّٰهُAllah فَاَنّٰیThen how یُؤْفَكُوْنَare they deluded ۟ۙ(87) وَقِیْلِهٖAnd his saying یٰرَبِّO my Lord اِنَّIndeed هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese قَوْمٌ(are) a people لَّا(who do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟ۘ(88) فَاصْفَحْSo turn away عَنْهُمْfrom them وَقُلْand say سَلٰمٌ ؕPeace فَسَوْفَBut soon یَعْلَمُوْنَthey will know ۟۠(89) Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf - Page 495 - Juz 25 Surah 44. Ad-Dukhan (The Smoke) V59 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚۛ(1) وَالْكِتٰبِBy the Book الْمُبِیْنِthe clear ۟ۙۛ(2) اِنَّاۤIndeed, We اَنْزَلْنٰهُrevealed it فِیْin لَیْلَةٍa Night مُّبٰرَكَةٍBlessed اِنَّاIndeed, We كُنَّا[We] are مُنْذِرِیْنَ(ever) warning ۟(3) فِیْهَاTherein یُفْرَقُis made distinct كُلُّevery اَمْرٍaffair حَكِیْمٍwise ۟ۙ(4) اَمْرًاA command مِّنْfrom عِنْدِنَا ؕUs اِنَّاIndeed, We كُنَّا[We] are مُرْسِلِیْنَ(ever) sending ۟ۚ(5) رَحْمَةًAs Mercy مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ؕyour Lord اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَ[He] السَّمِیْعُ(is) the All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُthe All-Knower ۟ۙ(6) رَبِّLord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا ۘ(is) between both of them اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّوْقِنِیْنَcertain ۟(7) لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَHim یُحْیٖHe gives life وَیُمِیْتُ ؕand causes death رَبُّكُمْyour Lord وَرَبُّand (the) Lord اٰبَآىِٕكُمُ(of) your fathers الْاَوَّلِیْنَthe former ۟(8) بَلْNay هُمْthey فِیْ(are) in شَكٍّdoubt یَّلْعَبُوْنَplaying ۟(9) فَارْتَقِبْThen watch یَوْمَ(for the) Day تَاْتِی(when) will bring السَّمَآءُthe sky بِدُخَانٍsmoke مُّبِیْنٍvisible ۟ۙ(10) یَّغْشَیEnveloping النَّاسَ ؕthe people هٰذَاThis عَذَابٌ(will be) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(11) رَبَّنَاOur Lord اكْشِفْRemove عَنَّاfrom us الْعَذَابَthe punishment اِنَّاindeed, we مُؤْمِنُوْنَ(are) believers ۟(12) اَنّٰیHow can لَهُمُ(there be) for them الذِّكْرٰیthe reminder وَقَدْwhen verily جَآءَهُمْhad come to them رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟ۙ(13) ثُمَّThen تَوَلَّوْاthey turned away عَنْهُfrom him وَقَالُوْاand said مُعَلَّمٌOne taught مَّجْنُوْنٌa mad man ۟ۘ(14) اِنَّاIndeed, We كَاشِفُوا(will) remove الْعَذَابِthe punishment قَلِیْلًاa little اِنَّكُمْindeed, you عَآىِٕدُوْنَ(will) return ۟ۘ(15) یَوْمَ(The) Day نَبْطِشُWe will seize الْبَطْشَةَ(with) the seizure الْكُبْرٰی ۚthe greatest اِنَّاindeed, We مُنْتَقِمُوْنَ(will) take retribution ۟(16) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly فَتَنَّاWe tried قَبْلَهُمْbefore them قَوْمَ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun وَجَآءَهُمْand came to them رَسُوْلٌa Messenger كَرِیْمٌnoble ۟ۙ(17) اَنْThat اَدُّوْۤاDeliver اِلَیَّto me عِبَادَ(the) servants اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنِّیْIndeed, I am لَكُمْto you رَسُوْلٌa Messenger اَمِیْنٌtrustworthy ۟ۙ(18) Surah 44. Ad-Dukhan - Page 496 - Juz 25 وَّاَنْAnd that لَّا(do) not تَعْلُوْاexalt yourselves عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اٰتِیْكُمْ[I] have come to you بِسُلْطٰنٍwith an authority مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟ۚ(19) وَاِنِّیْAnd indeed, I عُذْتُ[I] seek refuge بِرَبِّیْwith my Lord وَرَبِّكُمْand your Lord اَنْlest تَرْجُمُوْنِyou stone me ۟ؗ(20) وَاِنْAnd if لَّمْnot تُؤْمِنُوْاyou believe لِیْme فَاعْتَزِلُوْنِthen leave me alone ۟(21) فَدَعَاSo he called رَبَّهٗۤhis Lord اَنَّThat هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese قَوْمٌ(are) a people مُّجْرِمُوْنَcriminals ۟(22) فَاَسْرِThen "Set out بِعِبَادِیْwith My slaves لَیْلًا(by) night اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you مُّتَّبَعُوْنَ(will be) followed ۟ۙ(23) وَاتْرُكِAnd leave الْبَحْرَthe sea رَهْوًا ؕat rest اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they جُنْدٌ(are) an army مُّغْرَقُوْنَ(to be) drowned ۟(24) كَمْHow many تَرَكُوْا(did) they leave مِنْof جَنّٰتٍgardens وَّعُیُوْنٍand springs ۟ۙ(25) وَّزُرُوْعٍAnd cornfields وَّمَقَامٍand places كَرِیْمٍnoble ۟ۙ(26) وَّنَعْمَةٍAnd pleasant things كَانُوْاthey used to فِیْهَاtherein فٰكِهِیْنَtake delight ۟ۙ(27) كَذٰلِكَ ۫Thus وَاَوْرَثْنٰهَاAnd We made it (an) inherit(ance) قَوْمًا(for) a people اٰخَرِیْنَanother ۟(28) فَمَاAnd not بَكَتْwept عَلَیْهِمُfor them السَّمَآءُthe heaven وَالْاَرْضُand the earth وَمَاand not كَانُوْاthey were مُنْظَرِیْنَgiven respite ۟۠(29) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly نَجَّیْنَاWe saved بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(the) Children of Israel مِنَfrom الْعَذَابِthe punishment الْمُهِیْنِthe humiliating ۟ۙ(30) مِنْFrom فِرْعَوْنَ ؕFiraun اِنَّهٗIndeed, he كَانَwas عَالِیًاarrogant مِّنَamong الْمُسْرِفِیْنَthe transgressors ۟(31) وَلَقَدِAnd certainly اخْتَرْنٰهُمْWe chose them عَلٰیby عِلْمٍknowledge عَلَیover الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟ۚ(32) وَاٰتَیْنٰهُمْAnd We gave them مِّنَof الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs مَاthat فِیْهِin it بَلٰٓؤٌا(was) a trial مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(33) اِنَّIndeed هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese لَیَقُوْلُوْنَsurely, they say ۟ۙ(34) اِنْNot هِیَit اِلَّا(is) but مَوْتَتُنَاour death الْاُوْلٰیthe first وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِمُنْشَرِیْنَ(will be) raised again ۟(35) فَاْتُوْاThen bring بِاٰبَآىِٕنَاۤour forefathers اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(36) اَهُمْAre they خَیْرٌbetter اَمْor قَوْمُ(the) people تُبَّعٍ ۙ(of) Tubba وَّالَّذِیْنَand those مِنْbefore them قَبْلِهِمْ ؕbefore them اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ ؗWe destroyed them اِنَّهُمْindeed, they كَانُوْاwere مُجْرِمِیْنَcriminals ۟(37) وَمَاAnd not خَلَقْنَاWe created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَیْنَهُمَا(is) between them لٰعِبِیْنَ(in) play ۟(38) مَاNot خَلَقْنٰهُمَاۤWe created both of them اِلَّاbut بِالْحَقِّin [the] truth وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(39) Surah 44. Ad-Dukhan - Page 497 - Juz 25 اِنَّIndeed یَوْمَ(the) Day of Judgment الْفَصْلِ(the) Day of Judgment مِیْقَاتُهُمْ(is) an appointed term for them اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟ۙ(40) یَوْمَ(The) Day لَاnot یُغْنِیْwill avail مَوْلًیa relation عَنْfor مَّوْلًیa relation شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not هُمْthey یُنْصَرُوْنَwill be helped ۟ۙ(41) اِلَّاExcept مَنْ(on) whom رَّحِمَAllah has mercy اللّٰهُ ؕAllah has mercy اِنَّهٗIndeed, He هُوَ[He] الْعَزِیْزُ(is) the All-Mighty الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟۠(42) اِنَّIndeed شَجَرَتَ(the) tree الزَّقُّوْمِ(of) Zaqqum ۟ۙ(43) طَعَامُ(Will be) food الْاَثِیْمِ(of) the sinner(s) ۟(44) كَالْمُهْلِ ۛۚLike the murky oil یَغْلِیْit will boil فِیin الْبُطُوْنِthe bellies ۟ۙ(45) كَغَلْیِLike boiling الْحَمِیْمِ(of) scalding water ۟(46) خُذُوْهُSeize him فَاعْتِلُوْهُand drag him اِلٰیinto سَوَآءِ(the) midst الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the Hellfire ۟ۗۖ(47) ثُمَّThen صُبُّوْاpour فَوْقَover رَاْسِهٖhis head مِنْof عَذَابِ(the) punishment الْحَمِیْمِ(of) the scalding water ۟ؕ(48) ذُقْ ۙۚTaste اِنَّكَIndeed, you اَنْتَ[you] (were) الْعَزِیْزُthe mighty الْكَرِیْمُthe noble ۟(49) اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis مَا(is) what كُنْتُمْyou used to بِهٖ[about it] تَمْتَرُوْنَdoubt ۟(50) اِنَّIndeed الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous فِیْ(will be) in مَقَامٍa place اَمِیْنٍsecure ۟ۙ(51) فِیْIn جَنّٰتٍgardens وَّعُیُوْنٍand springs ۟ۚۙ(52) یَّلْبَسُوْنَWearing garments مِنْof سُنْدُسٍfine silk وَّاِسْتَبْرَقٍand heavy silk مُّتَقٰبِلِیْنَfacing each other ۟ۚۙ(53) كَذٰلِكَ ۫Thus وَزَوَّجْنٰهُمْAnd We will marry them بِحُوْرٍ(to) companions with beautiful eyes عِیْنٍ(to) companions with beautiful eyes ۟ؕ(54) یَدْعُوْنَThey will call فِیْهَاtherein بِكُلِّfor every (kind) فَاكِهَةٍ(of) fruit اٰمِنِیْنَsecure ۟ۙ(55) لَاNot یَذُوْقُوْنَthey will taste فِیْهَاtherein الْمَوْتَthe death اِلَّاexcept الْمَوْتَةَthe death الْاُوْلٰی ۚthe first وَوَقٰىهُمْAnd He will protect them عَذَابَ(from the) punishment الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the Hellfire ۟ۙ(56) فَضْلًاA Bounty مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكَ ؕyour Lord ذٰلِكَThat هُوَit الْفَوْزُ(will be) the success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟(57) فَاِنَّمَاIndeed یَسَّرْنٰهُWe have made it easy بِلِسَانِكَin your tongue لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟(58) فَارْتَقِبْSo watch اِنَّهُمْindeed, they مُّرْتَقِبُوْنَ(too are) watching ۟۠(59) Surah 44. Ad-Dukhan - Page 498 - Juz 25 Surah 45. Al-Jathiyah (The Crouching) V37 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ حٰمٓHa Meem ۟ۚ(1) تَنْزِیْلُ(The) revelation الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book مِنَ(is) from اللّٰهِAllah الْعَزِیْزِthe All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمِthe All-Wise ۟(2) اِنَّIndeed فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth لَاٰیٰتٍsurely (are) Signs لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟ؕ(3) وَفِیْAnd in خَلْقِكُمْyour creation وَمَاand what یَبُثُّHe disperses مِنْof دَآبَّةٍ(the) moving creatures اٰیٰتٌ(are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّوْقِنُوْنَwho are certain ۟ۙ(4) وَاخْتِلَافِAnd (in the) alternation الَّیْلِ(of) the night وَالنَّهَارِand the day وَمَاۤand what اَنْزَلَAllah sends down اللّٰهُAllah sends down مِنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مِنْof رِّزْقٍ(the) provision فَاَحْیَاand gives life بِهِthereby الْاَرْضَ(to) the earth بَعْدَafter مَوْتِهَاits death وَتَصْرِیْفِand (in) directing الرِّیٰحِ(the) winds اٰیٰتٌ(are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْقِلُوْنَwho reason ۟(5) تِلْكَThese اٰیٰتُ(are the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah نَتْلُوْهَاWe recite them عَلَیْكَto you بِالْحَقِّ ۚin truth فَبِاَیِّThen in what حَدِیْثٍstatement بَعْدَafter اللّٰهِAllah وَاٰیٰتِهٖand His Verses یُؤْمِنُوْنَwill they believe ۟(6) وَیْلٌWoe لِّكُلِّto every اَفَّاكٍliar اَثِیْمٍsinful ۟ۙ(7) یَّسْمَعُWho hears اٰیٰتِ(the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah تُتْلٰیrecited عَلَیْهِto him ثُمَّthen یُصِرُّpersists مُسْتَكْبِرًاarrogantly كَاَنْas if لَّمْnot یَسْمَعْهَا ۚhe heard them فَبَشِّرْهُSo give him tidings بِعَذَابٍ(of) a punishment اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟(8) وَاِذَاAnd when عَلِمَhe knows مِنْof اٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses شَیْـَٔاanything تَّخَذَهَاhe takes them هُزُوًا ؕ(in) ridicule اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مُّهِیْنٌhumiliating ۟ؕ(9) مِنْBefore them وَّرَآىِٕهِمْBefore them جَهَنَّمُ ۚ(is) Hell وَلَاand not یُغْنِیْwill avail عَنْهُمْthem مَّاwhat كَسَبُوْاthey had earned شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَاand not مَاwhat اتَّخَذُوْاthey had taken مِنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah اَوْلِیَآءَ ۚ(as) protectors وَلَهُمْAnd for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟ؕ(10) هٰذَاThis هُدًی ۚ(is) guidance وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Verses رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مِّنْof رِّجْزٍfilth اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟۠(11) اَللّٰهُAllah الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who سَخَّرَsubjected لَكُمُto you الْبَحْرَthe sea لِتَجْرِیَthat may sail الْفُلْكُthe ships فِیْهِtherein بِاَمْرِهٖby His Command وَلِتَبْتَغُوْاand that you may seek مِنْof فَضْلِهٖHis Bounty وَلَعَلَّكُمْand that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَgive thanks ۟ۚ(12) وَسَخَّرَAnd He has subjected لَكُمْto you مَّاwhatever فِی(is) in السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًاall مِّنْهُ ؕfrom Him اِنَّIndeed فِیْin ذٰلِكَthat لَاٰیٰتٍsurely are Signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَwho give thought ۟(13) Surah 45. Al-Jathiyah - Page 499 - Juz 25 قُلْSay لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve یَغْفِرُوْا(to) forgive لِلَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَرْجُوْنَhope اَیَّامَ(for the) days اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لِیَجْزِیَthat He may recompense قَوْمًاa people بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(14) مَنْWhoever عَمِلَdoes صَالِحًاa righteous deed فَلِنَفْسِهٖ ۚthen it is for his soul وَمَنْand whoever اَسَآءَdoes evil فَعَلَیْهَا ؗthen it (is) against it ثُمَّThen اِلٰیto رَبِّكُمْyour Lord تُرْجَعُوْنَyou will be returned ۟(15) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اٰتَیْنَاWe gave بَنِیْۤ(the) Children of Israel اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(the) Children of Israel الْكِتٰبَthe Book وَالْحُكْمَand the wisdom وَالنُّبُوَّةَand the Prophethood وَرَزَقْنٰهُمْand We provided them مِّنَof الطَّیِّبٰتِthe good things وَفَضَّلْنٰهُمْand We preferred them عَلَیover الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟ۚ(16) وَاٰتَیْنٰهُمْAnd We gave them بَیِّنٰتٍclear proofs مِّنَof الْاَمْرِ ۚthe matter فَمَاAnd not اخْتَلَفُوْۤاthey differed اِلَّاexcept مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَهُمُcame to them الْعِلْمُ ۙthe knowledge بَغْیًا(out of) envy بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween themselves اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord یَقْضِیْwill judge بَیْنَهُمْbetween them یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection فِیْمَاabout what كَانُوْاthey used to فِیْهِtherein یَخْتَلِفُوْنَdiffer ۟(17) ثُمَّThen جَعَلْنٰكَWe put you عَلٰیon شَرِیْعَةٍan ordained way مِّنَof الْاَمْرِthe matter فَاتَّبِعْهَاso follow it وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعْfollow اَهْوَآءَ(the) desires الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(18) اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they لَنْnever یُّغْنُوْاwill avail عَنْكَyou مِنَagainst اللّٰهِAllah شَیْـًٔا ؕ(in) anything وَاِنَّAnd indeed الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اَوْلِیَآءُ(are) allies بَعْضٍ ۚ(of) others وَاللّٰهُand Allah وَلِیُّ(is the) Protector الْمُتَّقِیْنَ(of) the righteous ۟(19) هٰذَاThis بَصَآىِٕرُ(is) enlightenment لِلنَّاسِfor mankind وَهُدًیand guidance وَّرَحْمَةٌand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّوْقِنُوْنَwho are certain ۟(20) اَمْDo حَسِبَthink الَّذِیْنَthose who اجْتَرَحُواcommit السَّیِّاٰتِevil deeds اَنْthat نَّجْعَلَهُمْWe will make them كَالَّذِیْنَlike those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِ ۙrighteous deeds سَوَآءًequal مَّحْیَاهُمْ(in) their life وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ؕand their death سَآءَEvil is مَاwhat یَحْكُمُوْنَthey judge ۟۠(21) وَخَلَقَAnd Allah created اللّٰهُAnd Allah created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth بِالْحَقِّin truth وَلِتُجْزٰیand that may be recompensed كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul بِمَاfor what كَسَبَتْit has earned وَهُمْand they لَاwill not be wronged یُظْلَمُوْنَwill not be wronged ۟(22) Surah 45. Al-Jathiyah - Page 500 - Juz 25 اَفَرَءَیْتَHave you seen مَنِ(he) who اتَّخَذَtakes اِلٰهَهٗ(as) his god هَوٰىهُhis desire وَاَضَلَّهُand Allah lets him go astray اللّٰهُand Allah lets him go astray عَلٰیknowingly عِلْمٍknowingly وَّخَتَمَand He sets a seal عَلٰیupon سَمْعِهٖhis hearing وَقَلْبِهٖand his heart وَجَعَلَand puts عَلٰیover بَصَرِهٖhis vision غِشٰوَةً ؕa veil فَمَنْThen who یَّهْدِیْهِwill guide him مِنْafter بَعْدِafter اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اَفَلَاThen will not تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou receive admonition ۟(23) وَقَالُوْاAnd they say مَاNot هِیَit اِلَّا(is) but حَیَاتُنَاour life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world نَمُوْتُwe die وَنَحْیَاand we live وَمَاand not یُهْلِكُنَاۤdestroys us اِلَّاexcept الدَّهْرُ ۚthe time وَمَاAnd not لَهُمْfor them بِذٰلِكَof that مِنْany عِلْمٍ ۚknowledge اِنْnot هُمْthey اِلَّا(do) but یَظُنُّوْنَguess ۟(24) وَاِذَاAnd when تُتْلٰیare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُنَاOur Verses بَیِّنٰتٍclear مَّاnot كَانَis حُجَّتَهُمْtheir argument اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat قَالُواthey say ائْتُوْاBring بِاٰبَآىِٕنَاۤour forefathers اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(25) قُلِSay اللّٰهُAllah یُحْیِیْكُمْgives you life ثُمَّthen یُمِیْتُكُمْcauses you to die ثُمَّthen یَجْمَعُكُمْHe will gather you اِلٰیto یَوْمِ(the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection لَاno رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهِabout it وَلٰكِنَّBut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟۠(26) وَلِلّٰهِAnd for Allah مُلْكُ(is the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth وَیَوْمَand (the) Day تَقُوْمُis established السَّاعَةُthe Hour یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat Day یَّخْسَرُwill lose الْمُبْطِلُوْنَthe falsifiers ۟(27) وَتَرٰیAnd you will see كُلَّevery اُمَّةٍnation جَاثِیَةً ۫kneeling كُلُّEvery اُمَّةٍnation تُدْعٰۤیwill be called اِلٰیto كِتٰبِهَا ؕits record اَلْیَوْمَToday تُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensed مَا(for) what كُنْتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(28) هٰذَاThis كِتٰبُنَاOur Record یَنْطِقُspeaks عَلَیْكُمْabout you بِالْحَقِّ ؕin truth اِنَّاIndeed, We كُنَّا[We] used to نَسْتَنْسِخُtranscribe مَاwhat كُنْتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(29) فَاَمَّاThen as for الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَعَمِلُواand did الصّٰلِحٰتِ[the] righteous deeds فَیُدْخِلُهُمْwill admit them رَبُّهُمْtheir Lord فِیْin(to) رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕHis mercy ذٰلِكَThat هُوَ[it] الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْمُبِیْنُclear ۟(30) وَاَمَّاBut as for الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْا ۫disbelieved اَفَلَمْThen were not تَكُنْThen were not اٰیٰتِیْMy Verses تُتْلٰیrecited عَلَیْكُمْto you فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْbut you were proud وَكُنْتُمْand you became قَوْمًاa people مُّجْرِمِیْنَcriminals ۟(31) وَاِذَاAnd when قِیْلَit was said اِنَّIndeed وَعْدَ(the) Promise اللّٰهِ(of) Allah حَقٌّ(is) true وَّالسَّاعَةُand the Hour لَا(there is) no رَیْبَdoubt فِیْهَاabout it قُلْتُمْyou said مَّاNot نَدْرِیْwe know مَاwhat السَّاعَةُ ۙthe Hour (is) اِنْNot نَّظُنُّwe think اِلَّاexcept ظَنًّاan assumption وَّمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِمُسْتَیْقِنِیْنَ(are) convinced ۟(32) Surah 45. Al-Jathiyah - Page 501 - Juz 25 وَبَدَاAnd (will) appear لَهُمْto them سَیِّاٰتُ(the) evil مَا(of) what عَمِلُوْاthey did وَحَاقَand (will) envelop بِهِمْthem مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used بِهٖ[at it] یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(to) mock ۟(33) وَقِیْلَAnd it will be said الْیَوْمَToday نَنْسٰىكُمْWe forget you كَمَاas نَسِیْتُمْyou forgot لِقَآءَ(the) meeting یَوْمِكُمْ(of) this Day of yours هٰذَا(of) this Day of yours وَمَاْوٰىكُمُand your abode النَّارُ(is) the Fire وَمَاand not لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany نّٰصِرِیْنَhelpers ۟(34) ذٰلِكُمْThat بِاَنَّكُمُ(is) because you اتَّخَذْتُمْtook اٰیٰتِ(the) Verses اللّٰهِ(of) Allah هُزُوًا(in) ridicule وَّغَرَّتْكُمُand deceived you الْحَیٰوةُthe life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world فَالْیَوْمَSo this Day لَاnot یُخْرَجُوْنَthey will be brought forth مِنْهَاfrom it وَلَاand not هُمْthey یُسْتَعْتَبُوْنَwill be asked to appease ۟(35) فَلِلّٰهِThen for Allah الْحَمْدُ(is) all the praise رَبِّ(the) Lord السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَرَبِّand (the) Lord الْاَرْضِ(of) the earth رَبِّ(the) lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(36) وَلَهُAnd for Him الْكِبْرِیَآءُ(is) the greatness فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ۪and the earth وَهُوَand He الْعَزِیْزُ(is) the All-Mighty الْحَكِیْمُthe All-Wise ۟۠(37) Surah 45. Al-Jathiyah - Page 502 - Juz 26
