Surah 7. Al-Araf (The Heights) V206 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ الٓمّٓصٓAlif Laam Meem Saad ۟ۚ(1) كِتٰبٌ(This is) a Book اُنْزِلَrevealed اِلَیْكَto you فَلَاso (let) not یَكُنْbe فِیْin صَدْرِكَyour breast حَرَجٌany uneasiness مِّنْهُfrom it لِتُنْذِرَthat you warn بِهٖwith it وَذِكْرٰیand a reminder لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَfor the believers ۟(2) اِتَّبِعُوْاFollow مَاۤwhat اُنْزِلَhas been revealed اِلَیْكُمْto you مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعُوْاfollow مِنْfrom دُوْنِهٖۤbeside Him اَوْلِیَآءَ ؕany allies قَلِیْلًاLittle مَّا(is) what تَذَكَّرُوْنَyou remember ۟(3) وَكَمْAnd how many مِّنْof قَرْیَةٍa city اَهْلَكْنٰهَاWe destroyed it فَجَآءَهَاand came to it بَاْسُنَاOur punishment بَیَاتًا(at) night اَوْor هُمْ(while) they قَآىِٕلُوْنَwere sleeping at noon ۟(4) فَمَاThen not كَانَwas دَعْوٰىهُمْtheir plea اِذْwhen جَآءَهُمْcame to them بَاْسُنَاۤOur punishment اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat قَالُوْۤاthey said اِنَّاIndeed, we كُنَّاwere ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(5) فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّThen surely We will question الَّذِیْنَthose (to) whom اُرْسِلَwere sent اِلَیْهِمْto them (Messengers) وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّand surely We will question الْمُرْسَلِیْنَthe Messengers ۟ۙ(6) فَلَنَقُصَّنَّThen surely We will narrate عَلَیْهِمْto them بِعِلْمٍwith knowledge وَّمَاand not كُنَّاwere We غَآىِٕبِیْنَabsent ۟(7) وَالْوَزْنُAnd the weighing یَوْمَىِٕذِthat day لْحَقُّ ۚ(will be) the truth فَمَنْSo whose ثَقُلَتْ(will be) heavy مَوَازِیْنُهٗhis scales فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُ[they] الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ(will be) the successful ones ۟(8) وَمَنْAnd (for) those خَفَّتْ(will be) light مَوَازِیْنُهٗhis scales فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَso those الَّذِیْنَ(will be) the ones who خَسِرُوْۤاlost اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey were بِاٰیٰتِنَاto Our Verses یَظْلِمُوْنَ(doing) injustice ۟(9) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly مَكَّنّٰكُمْWe established you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَجَعَلْنَاand We made لَكُمْfor you فِیْهَاin it مَعَایِشَ ؕlivelihood قَلِیْلًاLittle مَّا(is) what تَشْكُرُوْنَyou (are) grateful ۟۠(10) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly خَلَقْنٰكُمْWe created you ثُمَّthen صَوَّرْنٰكُمْWe fashioned you ثُمَّThen قُلْنَاWe said لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِto the Angels اسْجُدُوْاProstrate لِاٰدَمَ ۖۗto Adam فَسَجَدُوْۤاSo they prostrated اِلَّاۤexcept اِبْلِیْسَ ؕIblis لَمْNot یَكُنْhe was مِّنَof السّٰجِدِیْنَthose who prostrated ۟(11) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 151- Juz 8 قَالَ(Allah) said مَاWhat مَنَعَكَprevented you اَلَّاthat not تَسْجُدَyou prostrate اِذْwhen اَمَرْتُكَ ؕI commanded you قَالَ(Shaitaan) said اَنَاI am خَیْرٌbetter مِّنْهُ ۚthan him خَلَقْتَنِیْYou created me مِنْfrom نَّارٍfire وَّخَلَقْتَهٗand You created him مِنْfrom طِیْنٍclay ۟(12) قَالَ(Allah) said فَاهْبِطْThen go down مِنْهَاfrom it فَمَاfor not یَكُوْنُit is لَكَfor you اَنْthat تَتَكَبَّرَyou be arrogant فِیْهَاin it فَاخْرُجْSo get out اِنَّكَindeed, you مِنَ(are) of الصّٰغِرِیْنَthe disgraced ones ۟(13) قَالَ(Shaitaan) said اَنْظِرْنِیْۤGive me respite اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day یُبْعَثُوْنَthey are raised up ۟(14) قَالَ(Allah) said اِنَّكَIndeed, you مِنَ(are) of الْمُنْظَرِیْنَthe ones given respite ۟(15) قَالَ(Shaitaan) said فَبِمَاۤBecause اَغْوَیْتَنِیْYou have sent me astray لَاَقْعُدَنَّsurely I will sit لَهُمْfor them صِرَاطَكَ(on) Your path الْمُسْتَقِیْمَthe straight ۟ۙ(16) ثُمَّThen لَاٰتِیَنَّهُمْsurely, I will come to them مِّنْfrom بَیْنِbefore اَیْدِیْهِمْthem وَمِنْand from خَلْفِهِمْbehind them وَعَنْand from اَیْمَانِهِمْtheir right وَعَنْand from شَمَآىِٕلِهِمْ ؕtheir left وَلَاand not تَجِدُYou (will) find اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them شٰكِرِیْنَgrateful ۟(17) قَالَ(Allah) said اخْرُجْGet out مِنْهَاof it مَذْءُوْمًاdisgraced مَّدْحُوْرًا ؕand expelled لَمَنْCertainly, whoever تَبِعَكَfollows you مِنْهُمْamong them لَاَمْلَـَٔنَّsurely, I will fill جَهَنَّمَHell مِنْكُمْwith you اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟(18) وَیٰۤاٰدَمُAnd O Adam اسْكُنْDwell اَنْتَyou وَزَوْجُكَand your wife الْجَنَّةَ(in) the Garden فَكُلَاand you both eat مِنْfrom حَیْثُwherever شِئْتُمَاyou both wish وَلَاbut (do) not تَقْرَبَاapproach [both of you] هٰذِهِthis الشَّجَرَةَ[the] tree فَتَكُوْنَاlest you both be مِنَamong الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(19) فَوَسْوَسَThen whispered لَهُمَاto both of them الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan لِیُبْدِیَto make apparent لَهُمَاto both of them مَاwhat وٗرِیَwas concealed عَنْهُمَاfrom both of them مِنْof سَوْاٰتِهِمَاtheir shame وَقَالَAnd he said مَا(Did) not نَهٰىكُمَاforbid you both رَبُّكُمَاyour Lord عَنْfrom هٰذِهِthis الشَّجَرَةِ[the] tree اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَكُوْنَاyou two become مَلَكَیْنِAngels اَوْor تَكُوْنَاyou two become مِنَof الْخٰلِدِیْنَthe immortals ۟(20) وَقَاسَمَهُمَاۤAnd he swore (to) both of them اِنِّیْIndeed, I am لَكُمَاto both of you لَمِنَamong النّٰصِحِیْنَthe sincere advisors ۟ۙ(21) فَدَلّٰىهُمَاSo he made both of them fall بِغُرُوْرٍ ۚby deception فَلَمَّاThen when ذَاقَاthey both tasted الشَّجَرَةَthe tree بَدَتْbecame apparent لَهُمَاto both of them سَوْاٰتُهُمَاtheir shame وَطَفِقَاand they began یَخْصِفٰنِ(to) fasten عَلَیْهِمَاover themselves مِنْfrom وَّرَقِ(the) leaves الْجَنَّةِ ؕ(of) the Garden وَنَادٰىهُمَاAnd called them both رَبُّهُمَاۤtheir Lord اَلَمْDid not اَنْهَكُمَاI forbid you both عَنْfrom تِلْكُمَاthis الشَّجَرَةِ[the] tree وَاَقُلْand [I] say لَّكُمَاۤto both of you اِنَّthat الشَّیْطٰنَ[the] Shaitaan لَكُمَاto both of you عَدُوٌّ(is) an enemy مُّبِیْنٌopen ۟(22) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 152- Juz 8 قَالَاBoth of them said رَبَّنَاOur Lord ظَلَمْنَاۤwe have wronged اَنْفُسَنَا ٚourselves وَاِنْand if لَّمْnot تَغْفِرْYou forgive لَنَا[for] us وَتَرْحَمْنَاand have mercy (on) us لَنَكُوْنَنَّsurely, we will be مِنَamong الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(23) قَالَ(Allah) said اهْبِطُوْاGet down بَعْضُكُمْsome of you لِبَعْضٍto some others عَدُوٌّ ۚ(as) enemy وَلَكُمْAnd for you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مُسْتَقَرٌّ(is) a dwelling place وَّمَتَاعٌand livelihood اِلٰیfor حِیْنٍa time ۟(24) قَالَHe said فِیْهَاIn it تَحْیَوْنَyou will live وَفِیْهَاand in it تَمُوْتُوْنَyou will die وَمِنْهَاand from it تُخْرَجُوْنَyou will be brought forth ۟۠(25) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اٰدَمَ(of) Adam قَدْVerily اَنْزَلْنَاWe have sent down عَلَیْكُمْto you لِبَاسًاclothing یُّوَارِیْit covers سَوْاٰتِكُمْyour shame وَرِیْشًا ؕand (as) an adornment وَلِبَاسُBut the clothing التَّقْوٰی ۙ(of) [the] righteousness ذٰلِكَthat خَیْرٌ ؕ(is) best ذٰلِكَThat مِنْ(is) from اٰیٰتِ(the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَذَّكَّرُوْنَremember ۟(26) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اٰدَمَ(of) Adam لَا(Let) not یَفْتِنَنَّكُمُtempt you الشَّیْطٰنُ[the] Shaitaan كَمَاۤas اَخْرَجَhe drove out اَبَوَیْكُمْyour parents مِّنَfrom الْجَنَّةِParadise یَنْزِعُstripping عَنْهُمَاfrom both of them لِبَاسَهُمَاtheir clothing لِیُرِیَهُمَاto show both of them سَوْاٰتِهِمَا ؕtheir shame اِنَّهٗIndeed, he یَرٰىكُمْsees you هُوَhe وَقَبِیْلُهٗand his tribe مِنْfrom حَیْثُwhere لَاnot تَرَوْنَهُمْ ؕyou see them اِنَّاIndeed جَعَلْنَاWe have made الشَّیٰطِیْنَthe devils اَوْلِیَآءَfriends لِلَّذِیْنَof those who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟(27) وَاِذَاAnd when فَعَلُوْاthey do فَاحِشَةًimmorality قَالُوْاthey say وَجَدْنَاWe found عَلَیْهَاۤon it اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers وَاللّٰهُand Allah اَمَرَنَا(has) ordered us بِهَا ؕof it قُلْSay اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یَاْمُرُorder بِالْفَحْشَآءِ ؕimmorality اَتَقُوْلُوْنَDo you say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(28) قُلْSay اَمَرَ(Has been) ordered رَبِّیْ(by) my Lord بِالْقِسْطِ ۫justice وَاَقِیْمُوْاand set وُجُوْهَكُمْyour faces عِنْدَat كُلِّevery مَسْجِدٍmasjid وَّادْعُوْهُand invoke Him مُخْلِصِیْنَ(being) sincere لَهُto Him الدِّیْنَ ؕ۬(in) the religion كَمَاAs بَدَاَكُمْHe originated you تَعُوْدُوْنَ(so) will you return ۟ؕ(29) فَرِیْقًاA group هَدٰیHe guided وَفَرِیْقًاand a group حَقَّdeserved عَلَیْهِمُ[on] they الضَّلٰلَةُ ؕthe astraying اِنَّهُمُIndeed, they اتَّخَذُواtake الشَّیٰطِیْنَthe devils اَوْلِیَآءَ(as) allies مِنْfrom دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah وَیَحْسَبُوْنَwhile they think اَنَّهُمْthat they مُّهْتَدُوْنَ(are the) guided-ones ۟(30) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 153- Juz 8 یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اٰدَمَ(of) Adam خُذُوْاTake زِیْنَتَكُمْyour adornment عِنْدَat كُلِّevery مَسْجِدٍmasjid وَّكُلُوْاand eat وَاشْرَبُوْاand drink وَلَاbut (do) not تُسْرِفُوْا ۚbe extravagant اِنَّهٗIndeed, He لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove الْمُسْرِفِیْنَthe extravagant ones ۟۠(31) قُلْSay مَنْWho حَرَّمَhas forbidden زِیْنَةَ(the) adornment اللّٰهِ(from) Allah الَّتِیْۤwhich اَخْرَجَHe has brought forth لِعِبَادِهٖfor His slaves وَالطَّیِّبٰتِand the pure things مِنَof الرِّزْقِ ؕsustenance قُلْSay هِیَThey لِلَّذِیْنَ(are) for those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve فِیduring الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world خَالِصَةًexclusively (for them) یَّوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ(of) Resurrection كَذٰلِكَThus نُفَصِّلُWe explain الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs لِقَوْمٍfor (the) people یَّعْلَمُوْنَwho know ۟(32) قُلْSay اِنَّمَاOnly حَرَّمَ(had) forbidden رَبِّیَmy Lord الْفَوَاحِشَthe shameful deeds مَاwhat ظَهَرَ(is) apparent مِنْهَاof it وَمَاand what بَطَنَis concealed وَالْاِثْمَand the sin وَالْبَغْیَand the oppression بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّ[the] right وَاَنْand that تُشْرِكُوْاyou associate (others) بِاللّٰهِwith Allah مَاwhat لَمْnot یُنَزِّلْHe (has) sent down بِهٖof it سُلْطٰنًاany authority وَّاَنْand that تَقُوْلُوْاyou say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(33) وَلِكُلِّAnd for every اُمَّةٍnation اَجَلٌ ۚ(is a fixed) term فَاِذَاSo when جَآءَcomes اَجَلُهُمْtheir term لَا(they can) not یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَseek to delay سَاعَةًan hour وَّلَاand not یَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَseek to advance (it) ۟(34) یٰبَنِیْۤO Children اٰدَمَ(of) Adam اِمَّاIf یَاْتِیَنَّكُمْcome to you رُسُلٌMessengers مِّنْكُمْfrom you یَقُصُّوْنَrelating عَلَیْكُمْto you اٰیٰتِیْ ۙMy Verses فَمَنِthen whoever اتَّقٰیfears Allah وَاَصْلَحَand reforms فَلَاthen no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(35) وَالَّذِیْنَBut those who كَذَّبُوْاdeny بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses وَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاand (are) arrogant عَنْهَاۤtowards them اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions النَّارِ ۚ(of) the Fire هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَwill abide forever ۟(36) فَمَنْThen who اَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنِthan (one) who افْتَرٰیinvented عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie اَوْor كَذَّبَdenies بِاٰیٰتِهٖ ؕHis Verses اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose یَنَالُهُمْwill reach them نَصِیْبُهُمْtheir portion مِّنَfrom الْكِتٰبِ ؕthe Book حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen جَآءَتْهُمْcomes to them رُسُلُنَاOur messengers (Angels) یَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ ۙ(to) take them in death قَالُوْۤاthey say اَیْنَWhere are مَاthose (whom) كُنْتُمْyou used to تَدْعُوْنَinvoke مِنْfrom دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِ ؕAllah قَالُوْاThey say ضَلُّوْاThey strayed عَنَّاfrom us وَشَهِدُوْاand they (will) testify عَلٰۤیagainst اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves اَنَّهُمْthat they كَانُوْاwere كٰفِرِیْنَdisbelievers ۟(37) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 154- Juz 8 قَالَHe (will) say ادْخُلُوْاEnter فِیْۤamong اُمَمٍ(the) nations قَدْ(who) خَلَتْpassed away مِنْfrom قَبْلِكُمْbefore you مِّنَof الْجِنِّthe jinn وَالْاِنْسِand the men فِیin النَّارِ ؕthe Fire كُلَّمَاEvery time دَخَلَتْentered اُمَّةٌa nation لَّعَنَتْit cursed اُخْتَهَا ؕits sister (nation) حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen ادَّارَكُوْاthey had overtaken one another فِیْهَاin it جَمِیْعًا ۙall قَالَتْ(will) say اُخْرٰىهُمْ(the) last of them لِاُوْلٰىهُمْabout the first of them رَبَّنَاOur Lord هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese اَضَلُّوْنَاmisled us فَاٰتِهِمْso give them عَذَابًاpunishment ضِعْفًاdouble مِّنَof النَّارِ ؕ۬the Fire قَالَHe (will) say لِكُلٍّFor each ضِعْفٌ(is) a double وَّلٰكِنْ[and] but لَّاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(38) وَقَالَتْAnd (will) say اُوْلٰىهُمْ(the) first of them لِاُخْرٰىهُمْto (the) last of them فَمَاThen not كَانَis لَكُمْfor you عَلَیْنَاupon us مِنْany فَضْلٍsuperiority فَذُوْقُواso taste الْعَذَابَthe punishment بِمَاfor what كُنْتُمْyou used to تَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟۠(39) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses وَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاand (were) arrogant عَنْهَاtowards them لَا(will) not تُفَتَّحُbe opened لَهُمْfor them اَبْوَابُ(the) doors السَّمَآءِ(of) the heaven وَلَاand not یَدْخُلُوْنَthey will enter الْجَنَّةَParadise حَتّٰیuntil یَلِجَpasses الْجَمَلُthe camel فِیْthrough سَمِّ(the) eye الْخِیَاطِ ؕ(of) the needle وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نَجْزِیWe recompense الْمُجْرِمِیْنَthe criminals ۟(40) لَهُمْFor them مِّنْof جَهَنَّمَ(the) Hell مِهَادٌ(is) a bed وَّمِنْand from فَوْقِهِمْover them غَوَاشٍ ؕcoverings وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نَجْزِیWe recompense الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟(41) وَالَّذِیْنَBut those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve وَعَمِلُواand do الصّٰلِحٰتِ[the] righteous deeds لَاnot نُكَلِّفُWe burden نَفْسًاany soul اِلَّاexcept وُسْعَهَاۤ ؗ(to) its capacity اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَنَّةِ ۚ(of) Paradise هُمْthey فِیْهَاin it خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(42) وَنَزَعْنَاAnd We will remove مَاwhatever فِیْ(is) in صُدُوْرِهِمْtheir breasts مِّنْof غِلٍّmalice تَجْرِیْFlows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهِمُunderneath them الْاَنْهٰرُ ۚthe rivers وَقَالُواAnd they will say الْحَمْدُAll the praise لِلّٰهِ(is) for Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who هَدٰىنَاguided us لِهٰذَا ۫to this وَمَاand not كُنَّاwe were لِنَهْتَدِیَto receive guidance لَوْلَاۤif not اَنْ[that] هَدٰىنَا(had) guided us اللّٰهُ ۚAllah لَقَدْCertainly جَآءَتْcame رُسُلُMessengers رَبِّنَا(of) our Lord بِالْحَقِّ ؕwith the truth وَنُوْدُوْۤاAnd they will be addressed اَنْ[that] تِلْكُمُThis الْجَنَّةُ(is) Paradise اُوْرِثْتُمُوْهَاyou have been made to inherit it بِمَاfor what كُنْتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(43) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 155- Juz 8 وَنَادٰۤیAnd will call out اَصْحٰبُ(the) companions الْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradise اَصْحٰبَ(to the) companions النَّارِ(of) the Fire اَنْthat قَدْIndeed وَجَدْنَاwe found مَاwhat وَعَدَنَا(had) promised us رَبُّنَاour Lord حَقًّاtrue فَهَلْSo have وَجَدْتُّمْyou found مَّاwhat وَعَدَ(was) promised رَبُّكُمْ(by) your Lord حَقًّا ؕ(to be) true قَالُوْاThey will say نَعَمْ ۚYes فَاَذَّنَThen will announce مُؤَذِّنٌan announcer بَیْنَهُمْamong them اَنْ[that] لَّعْنَةُ(The) curse اللّٰهِ(of) Allah عَلَی(is) on الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۙ(44) الَّذِیْنَThose who یَصُدُّوْنَhinder عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَیَبْغُوْنَهَاand seek in it عِوَجًا ۚcrookedness وَهُمْwhile they (are) بِالْاٰخِرَةِconcerning the Hereafter كٰفِرُوْنَdisbelievers ۟ۘ(45) وَبَیْنَهُمَاAnd between them حِجَابٌ ۚ(will be) a partition وَعَلَیand on الْاَعْرَافِthe heights رِجَالٌ(will be) men یَّعْرِفُوْنَrecognizing كُلًّاall بِسِیْمٰىهُمْ ۚby their marks وَنَادَوْاAnd they will call out اَصْحٰبَ(to the) companions الْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradise اَنْthat سَلٰمٌPeace عَلَیْكُمْ ۫(be) upon you لَمْNot یَدْخُلُوْهَاthey have entered it وَهُمْbut they یَطْمَعُوْنَhope ۟(46) وَاِذَاAnd when صُرِفَتْare turned اَبْصَارُهُمْtheir eyes تِلْقَآءَtowards اَصْحٰبِ(the) companions النَّارِ ۙ(of) the Fire قَالُوْاthey (will) say رَبَّنَاOur Lord لَا(Do) not تَجْعَلْنَاplace us مَعَwith الْقَوْمِthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟۠(47) وَنَادٰۤیAnd (will) call out اَصْحٰبُ(the) companions الْاَعْرَافِ(of) the heights رِجَالًا(to) men یَّعْرِفُوْنَهُمْwhom they recognize بِسِیْمٰىهُمْby their marks قَالُوْاsaying مَاۤNot اَغْنٰی(has) availed عَنْكُمْ[to] you جَمْعُكُمْyour gathering وَمَاand what كُنْتُمْyou were تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَarrogant (about) ۟(48) اَهٰۤؤُلَآءِAre these الَّذِیْنَthe ones whom اَقْسَمْتُمْyou had sworn لَا(that) not یَنَالُهُمُ(will) grant them اللّٰهُAllah بِرَحْمَةٍ ؕMercy اُدْخُلُواEnter الْجَنَّةَParadise لَا(There will be) no خَوْفٌfear عَلَیْكُمْupon you وَلَاۤand not اَنْتُمْyou تَحْزَنُوْنَwill grieve ۟(49) وَنَادٰۤیAnd (will) call out اَصْحٰبُ(the) companions النَّارِ(of) the Fire اَصْحٰبَ(to the) companions الْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradise اَنْ[that] اَفِیْضُوْاPour عَلَیْنَاupon us مِنَ[of] الْمَآءِ(some) water اَوْor مِمَّاof what رَزَقَكُمُ(has been) provided (to) you اللّٰهُ ؕ(by) Allah قَالُوْۤاThey (will) say اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah حَرَّمَهُمَاhas forbidden both عَلَیto الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟ۙ(50) الَّذِیْنَThose who اتَّخَذُوْاtook دِیْنَهُمْtheir religion لَهْوًا(as) an amusement وَّلَعِبًاand play وَّغَرَّتْهُمُand deluded them الْحَیٰوةُthe life الدُّنْیَا ۚ(of) the world فَالْیَوْمَSo today نَنْسٰىهُمْWe forget them كَمَاas نَسُوْاthey forgot لِقَآءَ(the) meeting یَوْمِهِمْ(of) their day هٰذَا ۙthis وَمَاand [what] كَانُوْا(as) they used to بِاٰیٰتِنَاwith Our Verses یَجْحَدُوْنَthey reject ۟(51) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 156- Juz 8 وَلَقَدْAnd certainly جِئْنٰهُمْWe had brought them بِكِتٰبٍa Book فَصَّلْنٰهُwhich We have explained عَلٰیwith عِلْمٍknowledge هُدًیas guidance وَّرَحْمَةًand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟(52) هَلْDo یَنْظُرُوْنَthey wait اِلَّاexcept تَاْوِیْلَهٗ ؕ(for) its fulfillment یَوْمَ(The) Day یَاْتِیْ(will) come تَاْوِیْلُهٗits fulfillment یَقُوْلُwill say الَّذِیْنَthose who نَسُوْهُhad forgotten it مِنْfrom قَبْلُbefore قَدْVerily جَآءَتْhad come رُسُلُ(the) Messengers رَبِّنَا(of) our Lord بِالْحَقِّ ۚwith the truth فَهَلْso are (there) لَّنَاfor us مِنْany شُفَعَآءَintercessors فَیَشْفَعُوْاso (that) they intercede لَنَاۤfor us اَوْor نُرَدُّwe are sent back فَنَعْمَلَso (that) we do (deeds) غَیْرَother than الَّذِیْthat which كُنَّاwe used to نَعْمَلُ ؕdo قَدْVerily خَسِرُوْۤاthey lost اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves وَضَلَّand strayed عَنْهُمْfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to یَفْتَرُوْنَinvent ۟۠(53) اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكُمُyour Lord اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who خَلَقَcreated السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth فِیْin سِتَّةِsix اَیَّامٍepochs ثُمَّthen اسْتَوٰیHe ascended عَلَیon الْعَرْشِ ۫the Throne یُغْشِیHe covers الَّیْلَthe night النَّهَارَ(with) the day یَطْلُبُهٗseeking it حَثِیْثًا ۙrapidly وَّالشَّمْسَand the sun وَالْقَمَرَand the moon وَالنُّجُوْمَand the stars مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭsubjected بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕby His command اَلَاUnquestionably لَهُfor Him الْخَلْقُ(is) the creation وَالْاَمْرُ ؕand the command تَبٰرَكَblessed اللّٰهُ(is) Allah رَبُّLord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(54) اُدْعُوْاCall upon رَبَّكُمْyour Lord تَضَرُّعًاhumbly وَّخُفْیَةً ؕand privately اِنَّهٗIndeed, He لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove الْمُعْتَدِیْنَthe transgressors ۟ۚ(55) وَلَاAnd (do) not تُفْسِدُوْاcause corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بَعْدَafter اِصْلَاحِهَاits reformation وَادْعُوْهُAnd call Him خَوْفًا(in) fear وَّطَمَعًا ؕand hope اِنَّIndeed رَحْمَتَ(the) Mercy اللّٰهِ(of) Allah قَرِیْبٌ(is) near مِّنَfor الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers ۟(56) وَهُوَAnd He الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who یُرْسِلُsends الرِّیٰحَthe winds بُشْرًاۢ(as) glad tidings بَیْنَfrom یَدَیْbefore رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕHis Mercy حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاۤwhen اَقَلَّتْthey have carried سَحَابًاclouds ثِقَالًاheavy سُقْنٰهُWe drive them لِبَلَدٍto a land مَّیِّتٍdead فَاَنْزَلْنَاthen We send down بِهِfrom it الْمَآءَthe water فَاَخْرَجْنَاthen We bring forth بِهٖfrom it مِنْ(of) كُلِّall (kinds) الثَّمَرٰتِ ؕ(of) fruits كَذٰلِكَThus نُخْرِجُWe will bring forth الْمَوْتٰیthe dead لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَذَكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟(57) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 157- Juz 8 وَالْبَلَدُAnd the land الطَّیِّبُ[the] pure یَخْرُجُcomes forth نَبَاتُهٗits vegetation بِاِذْنِby (the) permission رَبِّهٖ ۚ(of) its Lord وَالَّذِیْbut which خَبُثَis bad لَا(does) not یَخْرُجُcome forth اِلَّاexcept نَكِدًا ؕ(with) difficulty كَذٰلِكَThus نُصَرِّفُWe explain الْاٰیٰتِthe Signs لِقَوْمٍfor a people یَّشْكُرُوْنَwho are grateful ۟۠(58) لَقَدْCertainly اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent نُوْحًاNuh اِلٰیto قَوْمِهٖhis people فَقَالَand he said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear عَلَیْكُمْfor you عَذَابَpunishment یَوْمٍ(of the) Day عَظِیْمٍGreat ۟(59) قَالَSaid الْمَلَاُthe chiefs مِنْof قَوْمِهٖۤhis people اِنَّاIndeed, we لَنَرٰىكَsurely see you فِیْin ضَلٰلٍerror مُّبِیْنٍclear ۟(60) قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people لَیْسَThere is not بِیْin me ضَلٰلَةٌerror وَّلٰكِنِّیْbut I am رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْfrom رَّبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(61) اُبَلِّغُكُمْI convey to you رِسٰلٰتِthe Messages رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَاَنْصَحُand [I] advise لَكُمْ[to] you وَاَعْلَمُand I know مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah مَاwhat لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَyou know ۟(62) اَوَعَجِبْتُمْDo you wonder اَنْthat جَآءَكُمْhas come to you ذِكْرٌa reminder مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord عَلٰیon رَجُلٍa man مِّنْكُمْamong you لِیُنْذِرَكُمْthat he may warn you وَلِتَتَّقُوْاand that you may fear وَلَعَلَّكُمْand so that you may تُرْحَمُوْنَreceive mercy ۟(63) فَكَذَّبُوْهُBut they denied him فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُso We saved him وَالَّذِیْنَand those who مَعَهٗ(were) with him فِیin الْفُلْكِthe ship وَاَغْرَقْنَاAnd We drowned الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَا ؕOur Verses اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَانُوْاwere قَوْمًاa people عَمِیْنَblind ۟۠(64) وَاِلٰیAnd to عَادٍAad اَخَاهُمْ(We sent) their brother هُوْدًا ؕHud قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him اَفَلَاThen will not تَتَّقُوْنَyou fear (Allah) ۟(65) قَالَSaid الْمَلَاُthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْfrom قَوْمِهٖۤhis people اِنَّاIndeed, we لَنَرٰىكَsurely, see you فِیْin سَفَاهَةٍfoolishness وَّاِنَّاand indeed, we لَنَظُنُّكَ[we] think you مِنَ(are) of الْكٰذِبِیْنَthe liars ۟(66) قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people لَیْسَThere is not بِیْin me سَفَاهَةٌfoolishness وَّلٰكِنِّیْbut I am رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْfrom رَّبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟(67) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 158- Juz 8 اُبَلِّغُكُمْI convey to you رِسٰلٰتِMessages رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَاَنَاand I am لَكُمْto you نَاصِحٌan adviser اَمِیْنٌtrustworthy ۟(68) اَوَعَجِبْتُمْDo you wonder اَنْthat جَآءَكُمْhas come to you ذِكْرٌa reminder مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord عَلٰیon رَجُلٍa man مِّنْكُمْamong you لِیُنْذِرَكُمْ ؕthat he may warn you وَاذْكُرُوْۤاAnd remember اِذْwhen جَعَلَكُمْHe made you خُلَفَآءَsuccessors مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter قَوْمِ(the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّزَادَكُمْand increased you فِیin الْخَلْقِthe stature بَصْۜطَةً ۚextensively فَاذْكُرُوْۤاSo remember اٰلَآءَ(the) Bounties اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُفْلِحُوْنَsucceed ۟(69) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَجِئْتَنَاHave you come to us لِنَعْبُدَthat we (should) worship اللّٰهَAllah وَحْدَهٗAlone وَنَذَرَand we forsake مَاwhat كَانَused to یَعْبُدُworship اٰبَآؤُنَا ۚour forefathers فَاْتِنَاThen bring us بِمَاof what تَعِدُنَاۤyou promise us اِنْif كُنْتَyou are مِنَof الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(70) قَالَHe said قَدْVerily وَقَعَhas fallen عَلَیْكُمْupon you مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord رِجْسٌpunishment وَّغَضَبٌ ؕand anger اَتُجَادِلُوْنَنِیْDo you dispute with me فِیْۤconcerning اَسْمَآءٍnames سَمَّیْتُمُوْهَاۤyou have named them اَنْتُمْyou وَاٰبَآؤُكُمْand your forefathers مَّاNot نَزَّلَ(has been) sent down اللّٰهُ(by) Allah بِهَاfor it مِنْany سُلْطٰنٍ ؕauthority فَانْتَظِرُوْۤاThen wait اِنِّیْindeed, I am مَعَكُمْwith you مِّنَof الْمُنْتَظِرِیْنَthe ones who wait ۟(71) فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُSo We saved him وَالَّذِیْنَand those مَعَهٗwith him بِرَحْمَةٍby Mercy مِّنَّاfrom Us وَقَطَعْنَاAnd We cut off دَابِرَthe roots الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs وَمَاand not كَانُوْاthey were مُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟۠(72) وَاِلٰیAnd to ثَمُوْدَThamud اَخَاهُمْ(We sent) their brother صٰلِحًا ۘSalih قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him قَدْVerily جَآءَتْكُمْhas come to you بَیِّنَةٌa clear proof مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord هٰذِهٖThis نَاقَةُ(is) a she-camel اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَكُمْ(it is) for you اٰیَةًa Sign فَذَرُوْهَاSo you leave her تَاْكُلْ(to) eat فِیْۤon اَرْضِ(the) earth اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand (do) not تَمَسُّوْهَاtouch her بِسُوْٓءٍwith harm فَیَاْخُذَكُمْlest seizes you عَذَابٌa punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(73) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 159- Juz 8 وَاذْكُرُوْۤاAnd remember اِذْwhen جَعَلَكُمْHe made you خُلَفَآءَsuccessors مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter عَادٍAad وَّبَوَّاَكُمْand settled you فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth تَتَّخِذُوْنَYou take مِنْfrom سُهُوْلِهَاits plains قُصُوْرًاpalaces وَّتَنْحِتُوْنَand you carve out الْجِبَالَthe mountains بُیُوْتًا ۚ(as) homes فَاذْكُرُوْۤاSo remember اٰلَآءَ(the) Bounties اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand (do) not تَعْثَوْاact wickedly فِیin الْاَرْضِ(the) earth مُفْسِدِیْنَspreading corruption ۟(74) قَالَSaid الْمَلَاُthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ those اسْتَكْبَرُوْا(who) were arrogant مِنْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people لِلَّذِیْنَto those who اسْتُضْعِفُوْاwere oppressed لِمَنْ[to] those who اٰمَنَbelieved مِنْهُمْamong them اَتَعْلَمُوْنَDo you know اَنَّthat صٰلِحًاSalih مُّرْسَلٌ(is the) one sent مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهٖ ؕhis Lord قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنَّاIndeed, we بِمَاۤin what اُرْسِلَhe has been sent بِهٖwith [it] مُؤْمِنُوْنَ(are) believers ۟(75) قَالَSaid الَّذِیْنَthose who اسْتَكْبَرُوْۤاwere arrogant اِنَّاIndeed we بِالَّذِیْۤin that which اٰمَنْتُمْyou believe بِهٖin it كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(76) فَعَقَرُواThen they hamstrung النَّاقَةَthe she-camel وَعَتَوْاand (were) insolent عَنْtowards اَمْرِ(the) command رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord وَقَالُوْاand they said یٰصٰلِحُO Salih ائْتِنَاBring us بِمَاwhat تَعِدُنَاۤyou promise us اِنْif كُنْتَyou are مِنَof الْمُرْسَلِیْنَthe Messengers ۟(77) فَاَخَذَتْهُمُSo seized them الرَّجْفَةُthe earthquake فَاَصْبَحُوْاthen they became فِیْin دَارِهِمْtheir homes جٰثِمِیْنَfallen prone ۟(78) فَتَوَلّٰیSo he turned away عَنْهُمْfrom them وَقَالَand he said یٰقَوْمِO my people لَقَدْVerily اَبْلَغْتُكُمْI have conveyed to you رِسَالَةَ(the) Message رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَنَصَحْتُand [I] advised لَكُمْ[to] you وَلٰكِنْbut لَّاnot تُحِبُّوْنَyou like النّٰصِحِیْنَthe advisers ۟(79) وَلُوْطًاAnd Lut اِذْwhen قَالَhe said لِقَوْمِهٖۤto his people اَتَاْتُوْنَDo you commit الْفَاحِشَةَ(such) immorality مَاnot سَبَقَكُمْhas preceded you بِهَاtherein مِنْany اَحَدٍone مِّنَof الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟(80) اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you لَتَاْتُوْنَyou approach الرِّجَالَthe men شَهْوَةًlustfully مِّنْfrom دُوْنِinstead of النِّسَآءِ ؕthe women بَلْNay اَنْتُمْyou قَوْمٌ(are) a people مُّسْرِفُوْنَ(who) commit excesses ۟(81) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 160- Juz 8 وَمَاAnd not كَانَwas جَوَابَ(the) answer قَوْمِهٖۤ(of) his people اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat قَالُوْۤاthey said اَخْرِجُوْهُمْDrive them out مِّنْof قَرْیَتِكُمْ ۚyour town اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they اُنَاسٌ(are) people یَّتَطَهَّرُوْنَwho keep themselves pure ۟(82) فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُSo We saved him وَاَهْلَهٗۤand his family اِلَّاexcept امْرَاَتَهٗ ۖؗhis wife كَانَتْshe was مِنَof الْغٰبِرِیْنَthose who stayed behind ۟(83) وَاَمْطَرْنَاAnd We showered عَلَیْهِمْupon them مَّطَرًا ؕa rain فَانْظُرْSo see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ(of) the criminals ۟۠(84) وَاِلٰیAnd to مَدْیَنَMadyan اَخَاهُمْhis brother شُعَیْبًا ؕShuaib قَالَHe said یٰقَوْمِO my people اعْبُدُواWorship اللّٰهَAllah مَاnot لَكُمْfor you مِّنْany اِلٰهٍgod غَیْرُهٗ ؕother than Him قَدْVerily جَآءَتْكُمْhas came to you بَیِّنَةٌa clear proof مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord فَاَوْفُواSo give full الْكَیْلَ[the] measure وَالْمِیْزَانَand the weight وَلَاand (do) not تَبْخَسُواdeprive النَّاسَ[the] people اَشْیَآءَهُمْin their things وَلَاand (do) not تُفْسِدُوْاcause corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بَعْدَafter اِصْلَاحِهَا ؕits reformation ذٰلِكُمْThat خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟ۚ(85) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَقْعُدُوْاsit بِكُلِّon every صِرَاطٍpath تُوْعِدُوْنَthreatening وَتَصُدُّوْنَand hindering عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah مَنْ(those) who اٰمَنَbelieve بِهٖin Him وَتَبْغُوْنَهَاand seeking (to make) it عِوَجًا ۚcrooked وَاذْكُرُوْۤاAnd remember اِذْwhen كُنْتُمْyou were قَلِیْلًاfew فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۪and He increased you وَانْظُرُوْاAnd see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ(of) the corrupters ۟(86) وَاِنْAnd if كَانَ(there) is طَآىِٕفَةٌa group مِّنْكُمْamong you اٰمَنُوْا(who has) believed بِالَّذِیْۤin that which اُرْسِلْتُI have been sent بِهٖwith [it] وَطَآىِٕفَةٌand a group لَّمْnot یُؤْمِنُوْاthey believe فَاصْبِرُوْاthen be patient حَتّٰیuntil یَحْكُمَjudges اللّٰهُAllah بَیْنَنَا ۚbetween us وَهُوَAnd He خَیْرُ(is the) Best الْحٰكِمِیْنَ(of) [the] Judges ۟(87) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 161- Juz 8 قَالَSaid الْمَلَاُthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who اسْتَكْبَرُوْاwere arrogant مِنْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَWe will surely drive you out یٰشُعَیْبُO Shuaib وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْا(have) believed مَعَكَwith you مِنْfrom قَرْیَتِنَاۤour city اَوْor لَتَعُوْدُنَّyou must return فِیْto مِلَّتِنَا ؕour religion قَالَHe said اَوَلَوْEven if كُنَّاwe are كٰرِهِیْنَ(the) ones who hate (it) ۟۫(88) قَدِVerily افْتَرَیْنَاwe would have fabricated عَلَیagainst اللّٰهِAllah كَذِبًاa lie اِنْif عُدْنَاwe returned فِیْin مِلَّتِكُمْyour religion بَعْدَafter اِذْ[when] نَجّٰىنَاsaved us اللّٰهُAllah مِنْهَا ؕfrom it وَمَاAnd not یَكُوْنُit is لَنَاۤfor us اَنْthat نَّعُوْدَwe return فِیْهَاۤin it اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat یَّشَآءَwills اللّٰهُAllah رَبُّنَا ؕour Lord وَسِعَEncompasses رَبُّنَا(by) Our Lord كُلَّevery شَیْءٍthing عِلْمًا ؕ(in) knowledge عَلَیUpon اللّٰهِAllah تَوَكَّلْنَا ؕwe put our trust رَبَّنَاOur Lord افْتَحْDecide بَیْنَنَاbetween us وَبَیْنَand between قَوْمِنَاour people بِالْحَقِّin truth وَاَنْتَand You خَیْرُ(are the) Best الْفٰتِحِیْنَ(of) those who Decide ۟(89) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلَاُthe chiefs الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْamong قَوْمِهٖhis people لَىِٕنِIf اتَّبَعْتُمْyou follow شُعَیْبًاShuaib اِنَّكُمْindeed, you اِذًاthen لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ(will be) certainly losers ۟(90) فَاَخَذَتْهُمُThen seized them الرَّجْفَةُthe earthquake فَاَصْبَحُوْاthen they became فِیْin دَارِهِمْtheir home(s) جٰثِمِیْنَfallen prone ۟(91) الَّذِیْنَThose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied شُعَیْبًاShuaib كَاَنْ(became) as if لَّمْnot یَغْنَوْاthey (had) lived فِیْهَا ۛۚtherein اَلَّذِیْنَThose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied شُعَیْبًاShuaib كَانُوْاthey were هُمُthem الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(92) فَتَوَلّٰیSo he turned away عَنْهُمْfrom them وَقَالَand said یٰقَوْمِO my people لَقَدْVerily اَبْلَغْتُكُمْI (have) conveyed to you رِسٰلٰتِ(the) Messages رَبِّیْ(of) my Lord وَنَصَحْتُand advised لَكُمْ ۚ[to] you فَكَیْفَSo how could اٰسٰیI grieve عَلٰیfor قَوْمٍa people كٰفِرِیْنَ(who are) disbelievers ۟۠(93) وَمَاۤAnd not اَرْسَلْنَاWe sent فِیْin قَرْیَةٍa city مِّنْany نَّبِیٍّProphet اِلَّاۤexcept اَخَذْنَاۤWe seized اَهْلَهَاits people بِالْبَاْسَآءِwith adversity وَالضَّرَّآءِand hardship لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَضَّرَّعُوْنَ(become) humble ۟(94) ثُمَّThen بَدَّلْنَاWe changed مَكَانَ(in) place السَّیِّئَةِ(of) the bad الْحَسَنَةَthe good حَتّٰیuntil عَفَوْاthey increased وَّقَالُوْاand said قَدْVerily مَسَّ(had) touched اٰبَآءَنَاour forefathers الضَّرَّآءُthe adversity وَالسَّرَّآءُand the ease فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْSo We seized them بَغْتَةًsuddenly وَّهُمْwhile they لَا(did) not یَشْعُرُوْنَperceive ۟(95) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 162- Juz 9 بَرَكٰتٍblessings مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe heaven وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَلٰكِنْbut كَذَّبُوْاthey denied فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْSo We seized them بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(96) اَفَاَمِنَThen did feel secure اَهْلُ(the) people الْقُرٰۤی(of) the cities اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَهُمْcomes to them بَاْسُنَاOur punishment بَیَاتًا(at) night وَّهُمْwhile they نَآىِٕمُوْنَ(were) asleep ۟ؕ(97) اَوَاَمِنَOr felt secure اَهْلُ(the) people الْقُرٰۤی(of) the cities اَنْthat یَّاْتِیَهُمْcomes to them بَاْسُنَاOur punishment ضُحًی(in) daylight وَّهُمْwhile they یَلْعَبُوْنَ(were) playing ۟(98) اَفَاَمِنُوْاThen did they feel secure مَكْرَ(from the) plan اللّٰهِ ۚ(of) Allah فَلَاBut not یَاْمَنُfeel secure مَكْرَ(from the) plan اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِلَّاexcept الْقَوْمُthe people الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(who are) the losers ۟۠(99) اَوَلَمْWould it not یَهْدِguide لِلَّذِیْنَ[for] those who یَرِثُوْنَinherit الْاَرْضَthe land مِنْfrom بَعْدِafter اَهْلِهَاۤits people اَنْthat لَّوْif نَشَآءُWe willed اَصَبْنٰهُمْWe (could) afflict them بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۚfor their sins وَنَطْبَعُand We put a seal عَلٰیover قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts فَهُمْso they لَا(do) not یَسْمَعُوْنَhear ۟(100) تِلْكَThese الْقُرٰی(were) the cities نَقُصُّWe relate عَلَیْكَto you مِنْof اَنْۢبَآىِٕهَا ۚtheir news وَلَقَدْAnd certainly جَآءَتْهُمْcame to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ۚwith clear proofs فَمَاbut not كَانُوْاthey were لِیُؤْمِنُوْاto believe بِمَاin what كَذَّبُوْاthey (had) denied مِنْfrom قَبْلُ ؕbefore كَذٰلِكَThus یَطْبَعُ(has been) put a seal اللّٰهُ(by) Allah عَلٰیon قُلُوْبِ(the) hearts الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers ۟(101) وَمَاAnd not وَجَدْنَاWe found لِاَكْثَرِهِمْfor most of them مِّنْany عَهْدٍ ۚcovenant وَاِنْBut وَّجَدْنَاۤWe found اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَفٰسِقِیْنَcertainly, defiantly disobedient ۟(102) ثُمَّThen بَعَثْنَاWe sent مِنْfrom بَعْدِهِمْafter them مُّوْسٰیMusa بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤwith Our Signs اِلٰیto فِرْعَوْنَFiraun وَمَلَاۡىِٕهٖand his chiefs فَظَلَمُوْاBut they were unjust بِهَا ۚto them فَانْظُرْSo see كَیْفَhow كَانَwas عَاقِبَةُ(the) end الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ(of) the corrupters ۟(103) وَقَالَAnd said مُوْسٰیMusa یٰفِرْعَوْنُO Firaun اِنِّیْIndeed, I am رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْfrom رَّبِّ(the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟ۙ(104) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 163- Juz 9 حَقِیْقٌObligated عَلٰۤیon اَنْthat لَّاۤnot اَقُوْلَI say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah اِلَّاexcept الْحَقَّ ؕthe truth قَدْVerily جِئْتُكُمْI (have) come to you بِبَیِّنَةٍwith a clear Sign مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord فَاَرْسِلْso send مَعِیَwith me بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel ۟ؕ(105) قَالَHe said اِنْIf كُنْتَyou have جِئْتَcome بِاٰیَةٍwith a Sign فَاْتِthen bring بِهَاۤit اِنْif كُنْتَyou are مِنَof الصّٰدِقِیْنَthe truthful ۟(106) فَاَلْقٰیSo he threw عَصَاهُhis staff فَاِذَاand suddenly هِیَit ثُعْبَانٌ(was) a serpent مُّبِیْنٌmanifest ۟ۚۖ(107) وَّنَزَعَAnd he drew out یَدَهٗhis hand فَاِذَاand suddenly هِیَit بَیْضَآءُ(was) white لِلنّٰظِرِیْنَfor the observers ۟۠(108) قَالَSaid الْمَلَاُthe chiefs مِنْof قَوْمِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَسٰحِرٌ(is) surely a magician عَلِیْمٌlearned ۟ۙ(109) یُّرِیْدُHe wants اَنْto یُّخْرِجَكُمْdrive you out مِّنْfrom اَرْضِكُمْ ۚyour land فَمَاذَاso what تَاْمُرُوْنَ(do) you instruct ۟(110) قَالُوْۤاThey said اَرْجِهْPostpone him وَاَخَاهُand his brother وَاَرْسِلْand send فِیin الْمَدَآىِٕنِthe cities حٰشِرِیْنَgatherers ۟ۙ(111) یَاْتُوْكَThey (will) bring to you بِكُلِّ[with] every سٰحِرٍmagician عَلِیْمٍlearned ۟(112) وَجَآءَSo came السَّحَرَةُthe magicians فِرْعَوْنَ(to) Firaun قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنَّIndeed لَنَاfor us لَاَجْرًاsurely (will be) a reward اِنْif كُنَّاwe are نَحْنُ[we] الْغٰلِبِیْنَthe victors ۟(113) قَالَHe said نَعَمْYes وَاِنَّكُمْand indeed you لَمِنَsurely (will be) of الْمُقَرَّبِیْنَthe ones who are near ۟(114) قَالُوْاThey said یٰمُوْسٰۤیO Musa اِمَّاۤWhether اَنْ[that] تُلْقِیَyou throw وَاِمَّاۤor Whether اَنْ[that] نَّكُوْنَwe will be نَحْنُ[we] الْمُلْقِیْنَthe ones to throw ۟(115) قَالَHe said اَلْقُوْا ۚThrow فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَلْقَوْاthey threw سَحَرُوْۤاthey bewitched اَعْیُنَ(the) eyes النَّاسِ(of) the people وَاسْتَرْهَبُوْهُمْand terrified them وَجَآءُوْand came (up) بِسِحْرٍwith a magic عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟(116) وَاَوْحَیْنَاۤAnd We inspired اِلٰیto مُوْسٰۤیMusa اَنْthat اَلْقِThrow عَصَاكَ ۚyour staff فَاِذَاand suddenly هِیَit تَلْقَفُswallow(ed) مَاwhat یَاْفِكُوْنَthey (were) falsifying ۟ۚ(117) فَوَقَعَSo was established الْحَقُّthe truth وَبَطَلَand became futile مَاwhat كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟ۚ(118) فَغُلِبُوْاSo they were defeated هُنَالِكَthere وَانْقَلَبُوْاand returned صٰغِرِیْنَhumiliated ۟ۚ(119) وَاُلْقِیَAnd fell down السَّحَرَةُthe magicians سٰجِدِیْنَprostrate ۟ۚۖ(120) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 164- Juz 9 قَالُوْۤاThey said اٰمَنَّاWe believe بِرَبِّin (the) Lord الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(of) the worlds ۟ۙ(121) رَبِّLord مُوْسٰی(of) Musa وَهٰرُوْنَand Harun ۟(122) قَالَSaid فِرْعَوْنُFiraun اٰمَنْتُمْYou believed بِهٖin him قَبْلَbefore اَنْ[that] اٰذَنَI give permission لَكُمْ ۚto you اِنَّIndeed هٰذَاthis لَمَكْرٌ(is) surely a plot مَّكَرْتُمُوْهُyou have plotted it فِیin الْمَدِیْنَةِthe city لِتُخْرِجُوْاso that you may drive out مِنْهَاۤfrom it اَهْلَهَا ۚits people فَسَوْفَBut soon تَعْلَمُوْنَyou will know ۟(123) لَاُقَطِّعَنَّI will surely cut off اَیْدِیَكُمْyour hands وَاَرْجُلَكُمْand your feet مِّنْof خِلَافٍopposite (sides) ثُمَّThen لَاُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْI will surely crucify you اَجْمَعِیْنَall ۟(124) قَالُوْۤاThey said اِنَّاۤIndeed, we اِلٰیto رَبِّنَاour Lord مُنْقَلِبُوْنَ(will) return ۟ۚ(125) وَمَاAnd not تَنْقِمُyou take revenge مِنَّاۤfrom us اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat اٰمَنَّاwe believed بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Signs رَبِّنَا(of) our Lord لَمَّاwhen جَآءَتْنَا ؕthey came to us رَبَّنَاۤOur Lord اَفْرِغْPour عَلَیْنَاupon us صَبْرًاpatience وَّتَوَفَّنَاand cause us to die مُسْلِمِیْنَ(as) Muslims ۟۠(126) وَقَالَAnd said الْمَلَاُthe chiefs مِنْof قَوْمِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun اَتَذَرُWill you leave مُوْسٰیMusa وَقَوْمَهٗand his people لِیُفْسِدُوْاso that they cause corruption فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَیَذَرَكَand forsake you وَاٰلِهَتَكَ ؕand your gods قَالَHe said سَنُقَتِّلُWe will kill اَبْنَآءَهُمْtheir sons وَنَسْتَحْیٖand we will let live نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚtheir women وَاِنَّاand indeed, we فَوْقَهُمْover them قٰهِرُوْنَ(are) subjugators ۟(127) قَالَSaid مُوْسٰیMusa لِقَوْمِهِto his people اسْتَعِیْنُوْاSeek help بِاللّٰهِfrom Allah وَاصْبِرُوْا ۚand be patient اِنَّIndeed الْاَرْضَthe earth لِلّٰهِ ۙ۫(belongs) to Allah یُوْرِثُهَاHe causes to inherit it مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُHe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهٖ ؕHis servants وَالْعَاقِبَةُAnd the end لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ(is) for the righteous ۟(128) قَالُوْۤاThey said اُوْذِیْنَاWe have been harmed مِنْfrom قَبْلِbefore اَنْ[that] تَاْتِیَنَاyou came to us وَمِنْfrom بَعْدِand after مَا[what] جِئْتَنَا ؕyou have come to us قَالَHe said عَسٰیPerhaps رَبُّكُمْyour Lord اَنْ[that] یُّهْلِكَwill destroy عَدُوَّكُمْyour enemy وَیَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْand make you successors فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth فَیَنْظُرَthen see كَیْفَhow تَعْمَلُوْنَyou will do ۟۠(129) وَلَقَدْAnd certainly اَخَذْنَاۤWe seized اٰلَ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun بِالسِّنِیْنَwith years (of famine) وَنَقْصٍand a deficit مِّنَof الثَّمَرٰتِ[the] fruits لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَذَّكَّرُوْنَreceive admonition ۟(130) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 165- Juz 9 فَاِذَاBut when جَآءَتْهُمُcame to them الْحَسَنَةُthe good قَالُوْاthey said لَنَاFor us هٰذِهٖ ۚ(is) this وَاِنْAnd if تُصِبْهُمْafflicts them سَیِّئَةٌbad یَّطَّیَّرُوْاthey ascribe evil omens بِمُوْسٰیto Musa وَمَنْand who مَّعَهٗ ؕ(were) with him اَلَاۤBehold اِنَّمَاOnly طٰٓىِٕرُهُمْtheir evil omens عِنْدَ(are) with اللّٰهِAllah وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(131) وَقَالُوْاAnd they said مَهْمَاWhatever تَاْتِنَاyou bring us بِهٖtherewith مِنْof اٰیَةٍ(the) sign لِّتَسْحَرَنَاso that you bewitch us بِهَا ۙwith it فَمَاthen not نَحْنُwe لَكَ(will be) in you بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(132) فَاَرْسَلْنَاSo We sent عَلَیْهِمُon them الطُّوْفَانَthe flood وَالْجَرَادَand the locusts وَالْقُمَّلَand the lice وَالضَّفَادِعَand the frogs وَالدَّمَand the blood اٰیٰتٍ(as) signs مُّفَصَّلٰتٍ ۫manifest فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاbut they showed arrogance وَكَانُوْاand they were قَوْمًاa people مُّجْرِمِیْنَcriminal ۟(133) وَلَمَّاAnd when وَقَعَfell عَلَیْهِمُon them الرِّجْزُthe punishment قَالُوْاthey said یٰمُوْسَیO Musa ادْعُInvoke لَنَاfor us رَبَّكَyour Lord بِمَاby what عَهِدَHe has promised عِنْدَكَ ۚto you لَىِٕنْIf كَشَفْتَyou remove عَنَّاfrom us الرِّجْزَthe punishment لَنُؤْمِنَنَّsurely, we will believe لَكَ[for] you وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّand surely, we will send مَعَكَwith you بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel ۟ۚ(134) فَلَمَّاBut when كَشَفْنَاWe removed عَنْهُمُfrom them الرِّجْزَthe punishment اِلٰۤیtill اَجَلٍa (fixed) term هُمْ(which) they بٰلِغُوْهُwere to reach [it] اِذَاthen هُمْthey یَنْكُثُوْنَbroke (the word) ۟(135) فَانْتَقَمْنَاSo We took retribution مِنْهُمْfrom them فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْand We drowned them فِیin الْیَمِّthe sea بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs وَكَانُوْاand they were عَنْهَاto them غٰفِلِیْنَheedless ۟(136) وَاَوْرَثْنَاAnd We made inheritors الْقَوْمَthe people الَّذِیْنَthose who كَانُوْاwere یُسْتَضْعَفُوْنَconsidered weak مَشَارِقَ(the) eastern (parts) الْاَرْضِ(of) the land وَمَغَارِبَهَاand the western (parts) of it الَّتِیْwhich بٰرَكْنَاWe blessed فِیْهَا ؕ[in it] وَتَمَّتْAnd was fulfilled كَلِمَتُ(the) word رَبِّكَ(of) your Lord الْحُسْنٰیthe best عَلٰیfor بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ ۙ۬(of) Israel بِمَاbecause صَبَرُوْا ؕthey were patient وَدَمَّرْنَاAnd We destroyed مَاwhat كَانَused to یَصْنَعُmake فِرْعَوْنُFiraun وَقَوْمُهٗand his people وَمَاand what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْرِشُوْنَerect ۟(137) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 166- Juz 9 وَجٰوَزْنَاAnd We led across بِبَنِیْۤ(the) Children اِسْرَآءِیْلَ(of) Israel الْبَحْرَthe sea فَاَتَوْاThen they came عَلٰیupon قَوْمٍa people یَّعْكُفُوْنَdevoted عَلٰۤیto اَصْنَامٍidols لَّهُمْ ۚof theirs قَالُوْاThey said یٰمُوْسَیO Musa اجْعَلْMake لَّنَاۤfor us اِلٰهًاa god كَمَاlike what لَهُمْthey have اٰلِهَةٌ ؕgods قَالَHe said اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you قَوْمٌ(are) a people تَجْهَلُوْنَignorant ۟(138) اِنَّIndeed هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese مُتَبَّرٌdestroyed مَّا(is) what هُمْthey فِیْهِ(are) in it وَبٰطِلٌand vain مَّا(is) what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(139) قَالَHe said اَغَیْرَShould other than اللّٰهِAllah اَبْغِیْكُمْI seek for you اِلٰهًاa god وَّهُوَwhile He فَضَّلَكُمْhas preferred you عَلَیover الْعٰلَمِیْنَthe worlds ۟(140) وَاِذْAnd when اَنْجَیْنٰكُمْWe saved you مِّنْfrom اٰلِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaun یَسُوْمُوْنَكُمْwho were afflicting you سُوْٓءَ(with) worst الْعَذَابِ ۚ(of) torment یُقَتِّلُوْنَthey were killing اَبْنَآءَكُمْyour sons وَیَسْتَحْیُوْنَand letting live نِسَآءَكُمْ ؕyour women وَفِیْAnd in ذٰلِكُمْthat بَلَآءٌ(was) a trial مِّنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟۠(141) وَوٰعَدْنَاAnd We appointed مُوْسٰی(for) Musa ثَلٰثِیْنَthirty لَیْلَةًnights وَّاَتْمَمْنٰهَاand We completed them بِعَشْرٍwith ten (more) فَتَمَّso was completed مِیْقَاتُ(the) set term رَبِّهٖۤ(of) his Lord اَرْبَعِیْنَ(of) forty لَیْلَةً ۚnight(s) وَقَالَAnd said مُوْسٰیMusa لِاَخِیْهِto his brother هٰرُوْنَHarun اخْلُفْنِیْTake my place فِیْin قَوْمِیْmy people وَاَصْلِحْand do right وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعْfollow سَبِیْلَ(the) way الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ(of) the corrupters ۟(142) وَلَمَّاAnd when جَآءَcame مُوْسٰیMusa لِمِیْقَاتِنَاto Our appointed place وَكَلَّمَهٗand spoke to him رَبُّهٗ ۙhis Lord قَالَhe said رَبِّO my Lord اَرِنِیْۤShow me اَنْظُرْ(that) I may look اِلَیْكَ ؕat You قَالَHe said لَنْNever تَرٰىنِیْyou (can) see Me وَلٰكِنِbut انْظُرْlook اِلَیat الْجَبَلِthe mountain فَاِنِ[then] if اسْتَقَرَّit remains مَكَانَهٗin its place فَسَوْفَthen تَرٰىنِیْ ۚyou (will) see Me فَلَمَّاBut when تَجَلّٰیrevealed (His) Glory رَبُّهٗhis Lord لِلْجَبَلِto the mountain جَعَلَهٗHe made it دَكًّاcrumbled to dust وَّخَرَّand fell down مُوْسٰیMusa صَعِقًا ۚunconscious فَلَمَّاۤAnd when اَفَاقَhe recovered قَالَhe said سُبْحٰنَكَGlory be to You تُبْتُI turn (in repentance) اِلَیْكَto you وَاَنَاand I am اَوَّلُ(the) first الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(of) the believers ۟(143) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 167- Juz 9 قَالَHe said یٰمُوْسٰۤیO Musa اِنِّیIndeed, I اصْطَفَیْتُكَhave chosen you عَلَیover النَّاسِthe people بِرِسٰلٰتِیْwith My Messages وَبِكَلَامِیْ ۖؗand with My words فَخُذْSo take مَاۤwhat اٰتَیْتُكَI have given you وَكُنْand be مِّنَamong الشّٰكِرِیْنَthe grateful ۟(144) وَكَتَبْنَاAnd We ordained (laws) لَهٗfor him فِیin الْاَلْوَاحِthe tablets مِنْof كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing مَّوْعِظَةًan instruction وَّتَفْصِیْلًاand explanation لِّكُلِّfor every شَیْءٍ ۚthing فَخُذْهَاSo take them بِقُوَّةٍwith firmness وَّاْمُرْand order قَوْمَكَyour people یَاْخُذُوْا(to) take بِاَحْسَنِهَا ؕ(the) best of it سَاُورِیْكُمْI will show you دَارَ(the) home الْفٰسِقِیْنَ(of) the defiantly disobedient ۟(145) سَاَصْرِفُI will turn away عَنْfrom اٰیٰتِیَMy Signs الَّذِیْنَthose who یَتَكَبَّرُوْنَare arrogant فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth بِغَیْرِwithout الْحَقِّ ؕ[the] right وَاِنْand if یَّرَوْاthey see كُلَّevery اٰیَةٍsign لَّاnot یُؤْمِنُوْا(will) they believe بِهَا ۚin it وَاِنْAnd if یَّرَوْاthey see سَبِیْلَ(the) way الرُّشْدِ(of) the righteousness لَاnot یَتَّخِذُوْهُ(will) they take it سَبِیْلًا ۚ(as) a way وَاِنْbut if یَّرَوْاthey see سَبِیْلَ(the) way الْغَیِّ(of) [the] error یَتَّخِذُوْهُthey will take it سَبِیْلًا ؕ(as) a way ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(is) because they كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs وَكَانُوْاand they were عَنْهَاof them غٰفِلِیْنَheedless ۟(146) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs وَلِقَآءِand (the) meeting الْاٰخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafter حَبِطَتْworthless اَعْمَالُهُمْ ؕ(are) their deeds هَلْWill یُجْزَوْنَthey be recompensed اِلَّاexcept مَا(for) what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟۠(147) وَاتَّخَذَAnd took قَوْمُ(the) people مُوْسٰی(of) Musa مِنْfrom بَعْدِهٖafter him مِنْfrom حُلِیِّهِمْtheir ornaments عِجْلًاa calf جَسَدًاan image لَّهٗ[for] it خُوَارٌ ؕ(had) a lowing sound اَلَمْDid not یَرَوْاthey see اَنَّهٗthat it لَا(could) not یُكَلِّمُهُمْspeak to them وَلَاand not یَهْدِیْهِمْguide them سَبِیْلًا ۘ(to) a way اِتَّخَذُوْهُThey took it (for worship) وَكَانُوْاand they were ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(148) وَلَمَّاAnd when سُقِطَ(it was made to) fall فِیْۤinto اَیْدِیْهِمْtheir hands وَرَاَوْاand they saw اَنَّهُمْthat they قَدْ(had) indeed ضَلُّوْا ۙgone astray قَالُوْاthey said لَىِٕنْIf لَّمْnot یَرْحَمْنَاhas Mercy on us رَبُّنَاOur Lord وَیَغْفِرْand forgive لَنَا[for] us لَنَكُوْنَنَّwe will surely be مِنَamong الْخٰسِرِیْنَthe losers ۟(149) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 168- Juz 9 وَلَمَّاAnd when رَجَعَreturned مُوْسٰۤیMusa اِلٰیto قَوْمِهٖhis people غَضْبَانَangry اَسِفًا ۙand grieved قَالَhe said بِئْسَمَاEvil is what خَلَفْتُمُوْنِیْyou have done in my place مِنْfrom بَعْدِیْ ۚafter me اَعَجِلْتُمْWere you impatient اَمْرَ(over the) matter رَبِّكُمْ ۚ(of) your Lord وَاَلْقَیAnd he cast down الْاَلْوَاحَthe tablets وَاَخَذَand seized بِرَاْسِby head اَخِیْهِhis brother یَجُرُّهٗۤdragging him اِلَیْهِ ؕto himself قَالَHe said ابْنَO son اُمَّ(of) my mother اِنَّIndeed الْقَوْمَthe people اسْتَضْعَفُوْنِیْconsidered me weak وَكَادُوْاand were about to یَقْتُلُوْنَنِیْ ۖؗkill me فَلَاSo (let) not تُشْمِتْrejoice بِیَover me الْاَعْدَآءَthe enemies وَلَاand (do) not تَجْعَلْنِیْplace me مَعَwith الْقَوْمِthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(who are) wrongdoing ۟(150) قَالَHe said رَبِّO my Lord اغْفِرْForgive لِیْme وَلِاَخِیْand my brother وَاَدْخِلْنَاand admit us فِیْinto رَحْمَتِكَ ۖؗYour Mercy وَاَنْتَfor You اَرْحَمُ(are) the Most Merciful الرّٰحِمِیْنَ(of) the merciful ۟۠(151) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّخَذُواtook الْعِجْلَthe calf سَیَنَالُهُمْwill reach them غَضَبٌwrath مِّنْfrom رَّبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَذِلَّةٌand humiliation فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا ؕ(of) the world وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نَجْزِیWe recompense الْمُفْتَرِیْنَthe ones who invent (falsehood) ۟(152) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who عَمِلُواdo السَّیِّاٰتِthe evil deeds ثُمَّthen تَابُوْاrepented مِنْfrom بَعْدِهَاafter that وَاٰمَنُوْۤا ؗand believed اِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour Lord مِنْfrom بَعْدِهَاafter that لَغَفُوْرٌ(is) surely Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(153) وَلَمَّاAnd when سَكَتَwas calmed عَنْfrom مُّوْسَیMusa الْغَضَبُthe anger اَخَذَhe took (up) الْاَلْوَاحَ ۖۚthe tablets وَفِیْand in نُسْخَتِهَاtheir inscription هُدًی(was) guidance وَّرَحْمَةٌand mercy لِّلَّذِیْنَfor those who هُمْ[they] لِرَبِّهِمْof their Lord یَرْهَبُوْنَ(are) fearful ۟(154) وَاخْتَارَAnd chose مُوْسٰیMusa قَوْمَهٗ(from) his people سَبْعِیْنَseventy رَجُلًاmen لِّمِیْقَاتِنَا ۚfor Our appointment فَلَمَّاۤThen when اَخَذَتْهُمُseized them الرَّجْفَةُthe earthquake قَالَhe said رَبِّO my Lord لَوْIf شِئْتَyou (had) willed اَهْلَكْتَهُمْYou (could) have destroyed them مِّنْfrom قَبْلُbefore وَاِیَّایَ ؕand me اَتُهْلِكُنَاWould You destroy us بِمَاfor what فَعَلَdid السُّفَهَآءُthe foolish مِنَّا ۚamong us اِنْNot هِیَit (was) اِلَّاbut فِتْنَتُكَ ؕYour trial تُضِلُّYou let go astray بِهَاby it مَنْwhom تَشَآءُYou will وَتَهْدِیْand You guide مَنْwhom تَشَآءُ ؕYou will اَنْتَYou وَلِیُّنَا(are) our Protector فَاغْفِرْso forgive لَنَاus وَارْحَمْنَاand have mercy upon us وَاَنْتَand You خَیْرُ(are) Best الْغٰفِرِیْنَ(of) Forgivers ۟(155) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 169- Juz 9 وَاكْتُبْAnd ordain لَنَاfor us فِیْin هٰذِهِthis الدُّنْیَا[the] world حَسَنَةًgood وَّفِیand in الْاٰخِرَةِthe Hereafter اِنَّاIndeed, we هُدْنَاۤwe have turned اِلَیْكَ ؕto You قَالَHe said عَذَابِیْۤMy punishment اُصِیْبُI afflict بِهٖwith it مَنْwhom اَشَآءُ ۚI will وَرَحْمَتِیْbut My Mercy وَسِعَتْencompasses كُلَّevery شَیْءٍ ؕthing فَسَاَكْتُبُهَاSo I will ordain it لِلَّذِیْنَfor those who یَتَّقُوْنَ(are) righteous وَیُؤْتُوْنَand give الزَّكٰوةَzakah وَالَّذِیْنَand those who هُمْ[they] بِاٰیٰتِنَاin Our Verses یُؤْمِنُوْنَthey believe ۟ۚ(156) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یَتَّبِعُوْنَfollow الرَّسُوْلَthe Messenger النَّبِیَّthe Prophet الْاُمِّیَّthe unlettered الَّذِیْwhom یَجِدُوْنَهٗthey find him مَكْتُوْبًاwritten عِنْدَهُمْwith them فِیin التَّوْرٰىةِthe Taurat وَالْاِنْجِیْلِ ؗand the Injeel یَاْمُرُهُمْHe commands them بِالْمَعْرُوْفِto the right وَیَنْهٰىهُمْand forbids them عَنِfrom الْمُنْكَرِthe wrong وَیُحِلُّand he makes lawful لَهُمُfor them الطَّیِّبٰتِthe pure things وَیُحَرِّمُand makes unlawful عَلَیْهِمُfor them الْخَبٰٓىِٕثَthe impure things وَیَضَعُand he relieves عَنْهُمْfrom them اِصْرَهُمْtheir burden وَالْاَغْلٰلَand the fetters الَّتِیْwhich كَانَتْwere عَلَیْهِمْ ؕupon them فَالَّذِیْنَSo those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve بِهٖin him وَعَزَّرُوْهُand honor him وَنَصَرُوْهُand help him وَاتَّبَعُواand follow النُّوْرَthe light الَّذِیْۤwhich اُنْزِلَhas been sent down مَعَهٗۤ ۙwith him اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose (are) هُمُ[they] الْمُفْلِحُوْنَthe successful ones ۟۠(157) قُلْSay یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّاسُmankind اِنِّیْIndeed I am رَسُوْلُ(the) Messenger اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اِلَیْكُمْto you جَمِیْعَاall لَّذِیْthe One لَهٗfor Whom مُلْكُ(is the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ۚand the earth لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَHim یُحْیٖHe gives life وَیُمِیْتُ ۪and causes death فَاٰمِنُوْاSo believe بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَرَسُوْلِهِand His Messenger النَّبِیِّthe Prophet الْاُمِّیِّthe unlettered الَّذِیْthe one who یُؤْمِنُbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَكَلِمٰتِهٖand His Words وَاتَّبِعُوْهُand follow him لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَهْتَدُوْنَ(be) guided ۟(158) وَمِنْAnd among قَوْمِ(the) people مُوْسٰۤی(of) Musa اُمَّةٌ(is) a community یَّهْدُوْنَ(which) guides بِالْحَقِّwith truth وَبِهٖand by it یَعْدِلُوْنَestablishes justice ۟(159) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 170- Juz 9 وَقَطَّعْنٰهُمُAnd We divided them اثْنَتَیْ(into) two عَشْرَةَ(and) ten [i.e. twelve] اَسْبَاطًاtribes اُمَمًا ؕ(as) communities وَاَوْحَیْنَاۤAnd We inspired اِلٰیto مُوْسٰۤیMusa اِذِwhen اسْتَسْقٰىهُasked him for water قَوْمُهٗۤhis people اَنِ[that] اضْرِبْStrike بِّعَصَاكَwith your staff الْحَجَرَ ۚthe stone فَانْۢبَجَسَتْThen gushed forth مِنْهُfrom it اثْنَتَاtwo عَشْرَةَ(and) ten [i.e. twelve] عَیْنًا ؕsprings قَدْCertainly عَلِمَknew كُلُّeach اُنَاسٍpeople مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ؕtheir drinking place وَظَلَّلْنَاAnd We shaded عَلَیْهِمُ[on] them الْغَمَامَ(with) the clouds وَاَنْزَلْنَاand We sent down عَلَیْهِمُupon them الْمَنَّthe manna وَالسَّلْوٰی ؕand the quails كُلُوْاEat مِنْfrom طَیِّبٰتِ(the) good things مَاwhich رَزَقْنٰكُمْ ؕWe have provided you وَمَاAnd not ظَلَمُوْنَاthey wronged Us وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْۤاthey were اَنْفُسَهُمْ(to) themselves یَظْلِمُوْنَdoing wrong ۟(160) وَاِذْAnd when قِیْلَit was said لَهُمُto them اسْكُنُوْاLive هٰذِهِ(in) this الْقَرْیَةَcity وَكُلُوْاand eat مِنْهَاfrom it حَیْثُwherever شِئْتُمْyou wish وَقُوْلُوْاand say حِطَّةٌRepentance وَّادْخُلُواand enter الْبَابَthe gate سُجَّدًاprostrating نَّغْفِرْWe will forgive لَكُمْfor you خَطِیْٓـٰٔتِكُمْ ؕyour sins سَنَزِیْدُWe will increase (reward) الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟(161) فَبَدَّلَBut changed الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاwronged مِنْهُمْamong them قَوْلًاword غَیْرَother than الَّذِیْ(that) which قِیْلَwas said لَهُمْto them فَاَرْسَلْنَاSo We sent عَلَیْهِمْupon them رِجْزًاtorment مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey were یَظْلِمُوْنَdoing wrong ۟۠(162) وَسْـَٔلْهُمْAnd ask them عَنِabout الْقَرْیَةِthe town الَّتِیْwhich كَانَتْwas حَاضِرَةَsituated الْبَحْرِ ۘ(by) the sea اِذْwhen یَعْدُوْنَthey transgressed فِیin السَّبْتِthe (matter of) Sabbath اِذْwhen تَاْتِیْهِمْcame to them حِیْتَانُهُمْtheir fish یَوْمَ(on the) day سَبْتِهِمْ(of) their Sabbath شُرَّعًاvisibly وَّیَوْمَand (on the) day لَاnot یَسْبِتُوْنَ ۙthey had Sabbath لَا(they did) not تَاْتِیْهِمْ ۛۚcome to them كَذٰلِكَ ۛۚThus نَبْلُوْهُمْWe test them بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey were یَفْسُقُوْنَdefiantly disobeying ۟(163) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 171- Juz 9 وَاِذْAnd when قَالَتْsaid اُمَّةٌa community مِّنْهُمْamong them لِمَWhy تَعِظُوْنَ(do) you preach قَوْمَا ۙa people للّٰهُ(whom) Allah مُهْلِكُهُمْ(is going to) destroy them اَوْor مُعَذِّبُهُمْpunish them عَذَابًا(with) a punishment شَدِیْدًا ؕsevere قَالُوْاThey said مَعْذِرَةًTo be absolved اِلٰیbefore رَبِّكُمْyour Lord وَلَعَلَّهُمْand that they may یَتَّقُوْنَbecome righteous ۟(164) فَلَمَّاSo when نَسُوْاthey forgot مَاwhat ذُكِّرُوْاthey had been reminded بِهٖۤwith [it] اَنْجَیْنَاWe saved الَّذِیْنَthose who یَنْهَوْنَforbade عَنِ[from] السُّوْٓءِthe evil وَاَخَذْنَاand We seized الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاwronged بِعَذَابٍۭwith a punishment بَىِٕیْسٍwretched بِمَاbecause كَانُوْاthey were یَفْسُقُوْنَdefiantly disobeying ۟(165) فَلَمَّاSo when عَتَوْاthey exceeded all bounds عَنْabout مَّاwhat نُهُوْاthey were forbidden عَنْهُfrom it قُلْنَاWe said لَهُمْto them كُوْنُوْاBe قِرَدَةًapes خٰسِىِٕیْنَdespised ۟(166) وَاِذْAnd when تَاَذَّنَdeclared رَبُّكَyour Lord لَیَبْعَثَنَّthat He would surely send عَلَیْهِمْupon them اِلٰیtill یَوْمِ(the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection مَنْ(those) who یَّسُوْمُهُمْwould afflict them سُوْٓءَ(with) a grievous الْعَذَابِ ؕ[the] punishment اِنَّIndeed رَبَّكَyour Lord لَسَرِیْعُ(is) surely swift الْعِقَابِ ۖۚ(in) the retribution وَاِنَّهٗbut indeed, He لَغَفُوْرٌ(is) surely Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(167) وَقَطَّعْنٰهُمْAnd We divided them فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth اُمَمًا ۚ(as) nations مِنْهُمُAmong them الصّٰلِحُوْنَ(are) the righteous وَمِنْهُمْand among them دُوْنَ(are) other than ذٰلِكَ ؗthat وَبَلَوْنٰهُمْAnd We tested them بِالْحَسَنٰتِwith the good وَالسَّیِّاٰتِand the bad لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(168) فَخَلَفَThen succeeded مِنْfrom بَعْدِهِمْafter them خَلْفٌsuccessors وَّرِثُوا(who) inherited الْكِتٰبَthe Book یَاْخُذُوْنَtaking عَرَضَgoods هٰذَا(of) this الْاَدْنٰیthe lower (life) وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say سَیُغْفَرُIt will be forgiven لَنَا ۚfor us وَاِنْAnd if یَّاْتِهِمْcomes to them عَرَضٌgoods مِّثْلُهٗsimilar to it یَاْخُذُوْهُ ؕthey will take it اَلَمْWas not یُؤْخَذْtaken عَلَیْهِمْon them مِّیْثَاقُCovenant الْكِتٰبِ(of) the Book اَنْthat لَّاnot یَقُوْلُوْاthey will say عَلَیabout اللّٰهِAllah اِلَّاexcept الْحَقَّthe truth وَدَرَسُوْاwhile they studied مَاwhat فِیْهِ ؕ(is) in it وَالدَّارُAnd the home الْاٰخِرَةُ(of) the Hereafter خَیْرٌ(is) better لِّلَّذِیْنَfor those who یَتَّقُوْنَ ؕfear Allah اَفَلَاSo will not تَعْقِلُوْنَyou use intellect ۟(169) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُمَسِّكُوْنَhold fast بِالْكِتٰبِto the Book وَاَقَامُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَ ؕthe prayer اِنَّاindeed, We لَا(will) not نُضِیْعُ[We] let go waste اَجْرَ(the) reward الْمُصْلِحِیْنَ(of) the reformers ۟(170) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 172- Juz 9 وَاِذْAnd when نَتَقْنَاWe raised الْجَبَلَthe mountain فَوْقَهُمْabove them كَاَنَّهٗas if it was ظُلَّةٌa canopy وَّظَنُّوْۤاand they thought اَنَّهٗthat it وَاقِعٌ(would) fall بِهِمْ ۚupon them خُذُوْا(We said), "Take مَاۤwhat اٰتَیْنٰكُمْWe have given you بِقُوَّةٍwith strength وَّاذْكُرُوْاand remember مَاwhat فِیْهِ(is) in it لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَتَّقُوْنَfear Allah ۟۠(171) وَاِذْAnd when اَخَذَ(was) taken رَبُّكَ(by) your Lord مِنْfrom بَنِیْۤ(the) Children اٰدَمَ(of) Adam مِنْfrom ظُهُوْرِهِمْtheir loins ذُرِّیَّتَهُمْtheir descendants وَاَشْهَدَهُمْand made them testify عَلٰۤیover اَنْفُسِهِمْ ۚthemselves اَلَسْتُAm I not بِرَبِّكُمْ ؕyour Lord قَالُوْاThey said بَلٰی ۛۚYes شَهِدْنَا ۛۚwe have testified اَنْLest تَقُوْلُوْاyou say یَوْمَ(on the) Day الْقِیٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection اِنَّاIndeed كُنَّاwe were عَنْabout هٰذَاthis غٰفِلِیْنَunaware ۟ۙ(172) اَوْOr تَقُوْلُوْۤاyou say اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَشْرَكَpartners (were) associated (with Allah) اٰبَآؤُنَا(by) our forefathers مِنْfrom قَبْلُbefore (us) وَكُنَّاand we are ذُرِّیَّةًdescendants مِّنْfrom بَعْدِهِمْ ۚafter them اَفَتُهْلِكُنَاSo will You destroy us بِمَاfor what فَعَلَdid الْمُبْطِلُوْنَthe falsifiers ۟(173) وَكَذٰلِكَAnd thus نُفَصِّلُWe explain الْاٰیٰتِthe Verses وَلَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَرْجِعُوْنَreturn ۟(174) وَاتْلُAnd recite عَلَیْهِمْto them نَبَاَ(the) story الَّذِیْۤ(of the) one whom اٰتَیْنٰهُWe gave [him] اٰیٰتِنَاOur Verses فَانْسَلَخَbut he detached مِنْهَا[from] them فَاَتْبَعَهُso followed him الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan فَكَانَand he became مِنَof الْغٰوِیْنَthose gone astray ۟(175) وَلَوْAnd if شِئْنَاWe willed لَرَفَعْنٰهُsurely, We (could) have raised him بِهَاwith these وَلٰكِنَّهٗۤ[and] but he اَخْلَدَadhered اِلَیto الْاَرْضِthe earth وَاتَّبَعَand followed هَوٰىهُ ۚhis (vain) desires فَمَثَلُهٗSo his example كَمَثَلِ(is) like (the) example الْكَلْبِ ۚ(of) the dog اِنْif تَحْمِلْyou attack عَلَیْهِ[on] him یَلْهَثْhe lolls out his tongue اَوْor تَتْرُكْهُif you leave him یَلْهَثْ ؕhe lolls out his tongue ذٰلِكَThat مَثَلُ(is the) example الْقَوْمِ(of) the people الَّذِیْنَwho كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَا ۚ[in] Our Signs فَاقْصُصِSo relate الْقَصَصَthe story لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَتَفَكَّرُوْنَreflect ۟(176) سَآءَEvil مَثَلَا(as) an example لْقَوْمُ(are) the people الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs وَاَنْفُسَهُمْand themselves كَانُوْاthey used to یَظْلِمُوْنَwrong ۟(177) مَنْWhoever یَّهْدِ(is) guided اللّٰهُ(by) Allah فَهُوَthen he الْمُهْتَدِیْ ۚ(is) the guided one وَمَنْwhile whoever یُّضْلِلْHe lets go astray فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُ[they] الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟(178) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 173- Juz 9 وَلَقَدْAnd certainly ذَرَاْنَاWe have created لِجَهَنَّمَfor Hell كَثِیْرًاmany مِّنَof الْجِنِّthe jinn وَالْاِنْسِ ۖؗand men لَهُمْFor them قُلُوْبٌ(are) hearts لَّا(but) not یَفْقَهُوْنَthey understand بِهَا ؗwith them وَلَهُمْand for them اَعْیُنٌ(are) eyes لَّا(but) not یُبْصِرُوْنَthey see بِهَا ؗwith them وَلَهُمْand for them اٰذَانٌ(are) ears لَّا(but) not یَسْمَعُوْنَthey hear بِهَا ؕwith them اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose كَالْاَنْعَامِ(are) like cattle بَلْnay هُمْthey اَضَلُّ ؕ(are) more astray اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose هُمُthey الْغٰفِلُوْنَ(are) the heedless ۟(179) وَلِلّٰهِAnd for Allah الْاَسْمَآءُ(are) the names الْحُسْنٰیthe most beautiful فَادْعُوْهُso invoke Him بِهَا ۪by them وَذَرُواAnd leave الَّذِیْنَthose who یُلْحِدُوْنَdeviate فِیْۤconcerning اَسْمَآىِٕهٖ ؕHis names سَیُجْزَوْنَThey will be recompensed مَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(180) وَمِمَّنْAnd of (those) whom خَلَقْنَاۤWe have created اُمَّةٌ(is) a nation یَّهْدُوْنَwho guides بِالْحَقِّwith the truth وَبِهٖand thereby یَعْدِلُوْنَthey establish justice ۟۠(181) وَالَّذِیْنَBut those who كَذَّبُوْاdenied بِاٰیٰتِنَاOur Signs سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْWe will gradually lead them مِّنْfrom حَیْثُwhere لَاnot یَعْلَمُوْنَthey know ۟ۚۖ(182) وَاُمْلِیْAnd I will give respite لَهُمْ ۫ؕto them اِنَّIndeed كَیْدِیْMy plan مَتِیْنٌ(is) firm ۟(183) اَوَلَمْDo not یَتَفَكَّرُوْا ٚthey reflect مَاNot بِصَاحِبِهِمْin their companion مِّنْ[of] جِنَّةٍ ؕ(is) any madness اِنْNot هُوَhe اِلَّا(is) but نَذِیْرٌa warner مُّبِیْنٌclear ۟(184) اَوَلَمْDo not یَنْظُرُوْاthey look فِیْin مَلَكُوْتِ(the) dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand what خَلَقَhas (been) created اللّٰهُ(by) Allah مِنْof شَیْءٍ ۙ(every)thing وَّاَنْand that عَسٰۤیperhaps اَنْ[that] یَّكُوْنَhas قَدِverily اقْتَرَبَcome near اَجَلُهُمْ ۚtheir term فَبِاَیِّSo in what حَدِیْثٍstatement بَعْدَهٗafter this یُؤْمِنُوْنَwill they believe ۟(185) مَنْWhoever یُّضْلِلِ(is) let go astray اللّٰهُ(by) Allah فَلَاthen (there is) no هَادِیَguide لَهٗ ؕfor him وَیَذَرُهُمْAnd He leaves them فِیْin طُغْیَانِهِمْtheir transgression یَعْمَهُوْنَwandering blindly ۟(186) یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout السَّاعَةِthe Hour اَیَّانَwhen will be مُرْسٰىهَا ؕits appointed time قُلْSay اِنَّمَاOnly عِلْمُهَاits knowledge عِنْدَ(is) with رَبِّیْ ۚmy Lord لَاno (one) یُجَلِّیْهَاcan reveal [it] لِوَقْتِهَاۤits time اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ؔؕۘHim ثَقُلَتْIt lays heavily فِیin السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth لَاNot تَاْتِیْكُمْwill it come to you اِلَّاbut بَغْتَةً ؕsuddenly یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you كَاَنَّكَas if you حَفِیٌّ(were) well informed عَنْهَا ؕabout it قُلْSay اِنَّمَاOnly عِلْمُهَاits knowledge عِنْدَ(is) with اللّٰهِAllah وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَmost النَّاسِ(of) the people لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(187) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 174- Juz 9 قُلْSay لَّاۤNot اَمْلِكُI have power لِنَفْسِیْfor myself نَفْعًا(to) benefit وَّلَاand no ضَرًّا(power to) harm اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat شَآءَwills اللّٰهُ ؕAllah وَلَوْAnd if كُنْتُI would اَعْلَمُknow الْغَیْبَ(of) the unseen لَاسْتَكْثَرْتُsurely I could have multiplied مِنَof الْخَیْرِ ۛۖۚthe good وَمَاand not مَسَّنِیَ(could) have touched me السُّوْٓءُ ۛۚthe evil اِنْNot اَنَا(am) I اِلَّاexcept نَذِیْرٌa warner وَّبَشِیْرٌand a bearer of good tidings لِّقَوْمٍto a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟۠(188) هُوَHe الَّذِیْ(is) the One Who خَلَقَكُمْcreated you مِّنْfrom نَّفْسٍa soul وَّاحِدَةٍsingle وَّجَعَلَand made مِنْهَاfrom it زَوْجَهَاits mate لِیَسْكُنَthat he might live اِلَیْهَا ۚwith her فَلَمَّاAnd when تَغَشّٰىهَاhe covers her حَمَلَتْshe carries حَمْلًاa burden خَفِیْفًاlight فَمَرَّتْand continues بِهٖ ۚwith it فَلَمَّاۤBut when اَثْقَلَتْshe grows heavy دَّعَوَاthey both invoke اللّٰهَAllah رَبَّهُمَاtheir Lord لَىِٕنْIf اٰتَیْتَنَاYou give us صَالِحًاa righteous (child) لَّنَكُوْنَنَّsurely we will be مِنَamong الشّٰكِرِیْنَthe thankful ۟(189) فَلَمَّاۤBut when اٰتٰىهُمَاHe gives them صَالِحًاa good, (child) جَعَلَاthey make لَهٗfor Him شُرَكَآءَpartners فِیْمَاۤin what اٰتٰىهُمَا ۚHe has given them فَتَعٰلَیBut exalted اللّٰهُ(is) Allah عَمَّاabove what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate (with Him) ۟(190) اَیُشْرِكُوْنَDo they associate مَاwhat لَا(can) not یَخْلُقُcreate شَیْـًٔاanything وَّهُمْand they یُخْلَقُوْنَare created ۟ؗۖ(191) وَلَاAnd not یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey are able لَهُمْto (give) them نَصْرًاany help وَّلَاۤand not اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves یَنْصُرُوْنَcan they help ۟(192) وَاِنْAnd if تَدْعُوْهُمْyou call them اِلَیto الْهُدٰیthe guidance لَاnot یَتَّبِعُوْكُمْ ؕwill they follow you سَوَآءٌ(It is) same عَلَیْكُمْfor you اَدَعَوْتُمُوْهُمْwhether you call them اَمْor اَنْتُمْyou صَامِتُوْنَremain silent ۟(193) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose whom تَدْعُوْنَyou call مِنْfrom دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah عِبَادٌ(are) slaves اَمْثَالُكُمْlike you فَادْعُوْهُمْSo invoke them فَلْیَسْتَجِیْبُوْاand let them respond لَكُمْto you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are صٰدِقِیْنَtruthful ۟(194) اَلَهُمْAre for them اَرْجُلٌfeet یَّمْشُوْنَ(to) walk بِهَاۤ ؗwith [it] اَمْor لَهُمْfor them اَیْدٍhands یَّبْطِشُوْنَ(to) hold بِهَاۤ ؗwith [it] اَعْیُنٌeyes یُّبْصِرُوْنَ(to) see بِهَاۤ ؗwith [it] اَمْor لَهُمْfor them اَمْor لَهُمْfor them اٰذَانٌears یَّسْمَعُوْنَ(to) hear بِهَا ؕwith [it] قُلِSay ادْعُوْاCall شُرَكَآءَكُمْyour partners ثُمَّthen كِیْدُوْنِscheme against me فَلَاand (do) not تُنْظِرُوْنِgive me respite ۟(195) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 175- Juz 9 اِنَّIndeed وَلِیِّ my protector اللّٰهُ(is) Allah الَّذِیْthe One Who نَزَّلَrevealed الْكِتٰبَ ۖؗthe Book وَهُوَAnd He یَتَوَلَّیprotects الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟(196) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those whom تَدْعُوْنَyou invoke مِنْfrom دُوْنِهٖbesides Him لَاnot یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَthey are able نَصْرَكُمْ(to) help you وَلَاۤand not اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves یَنْصُرُوْنَcan they help ۟(197) وَاِنْAnd if تَدْعُوْهُمْyou call them اِلَیto الْهُدٰیthe guidance لَاnot یَسْمَعُوْا ؕdo they not وَتَرٰىهُمْAnd you see them یَنْظُرُوْنَlooking اِلَیْكَat you وَهُمْbut they لَاnot یُبْصِرُوْنَ(do) they see ۟(198) خُذِHold الْعَفْوَ(to) forgiveness وَاْمُرْand enjoin بِالْعُرْفِthe good وَاَعْرِضْand turn away عَنِfrom الْجٰهِلِیْنَthe ignorant ۟(199) وَاِمَّاAnd if یَنْزَغَنَّكَan evil suggestion comes to you مِنَfrom الشَّیْطٰنِ[the] Shaitaan نَزْغٌ[an evil suggestion] فَاسْتَعِذْthen seek refuge بِاللّٰهِ ؕin Allah اِنَّهٗIndeed, He سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(200) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اتَّقَوْاfear (Allah) اِذَاwhen مَسَّهُمْtouches them طٰٓىِٕفٌan evil thought مِّنَfrom الشَّیْطٰنِthe Shaitaan تَذَكَّرُوْاthey remember (Allah) فَاِذَاand then هُمْthey مُّبْصِرُوْنَ(are) those who see (aright) ۟ۚ(201) وَاِخْوَانُهُمْBut their brothers یَمُدُّوْنَهُمْthey plunge them فِیin الْغَیِّthe error ثُمَّthen لَاnot یُقْصِرُوْنَthey cease ۟(202) وَاِذَاAnd when لَمْnot تَاْتِهِمْyou bring them بِاٰیَةٍa Sign قَالُوْاthey say لَوْلَاWhy (have) not اجْتَبَیْتَهَا ؕyou devised it قُلْSay اِنَّمَاۤOnly اَتَّبِعُI follow مَاwhat یُوْحٰۤیis revealed اِلَیَّto me مِنْfrom رَّبِّیْ ۚmy Lord هٰذَاThis (is) بَصَآىِٕرُenlightenment مِنْfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour Lord وَهُدًیand guidance وَّرَحْمَةٌand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people یُّؤْمِنُوْنَwho believe ۟(203) وَاِذَاAnd when قُرِئَis recited الْقُرْاٰنُthe Quran فَاسْتَمِعُوْاthen listen لَهٗto it وَاَنْصِتُوْاand pay attention لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُرْحَمُوْنَreceive mercy ۟(204) وَاذْكُرْAnd remember رَّبَّكَyour Lord فِیْin نَفْسِكَyourself تَضَرُّعًاhumbly وَّخِیْفَةًand (in) fear وَّدُوْنَand without الْجَهْرِthe loudness مِنَof الْقَوْلِ[the] words بِالْغُدُوِّin the mornings وَالْاٰصَالِand (in) the evenings وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكُنْbe مِّنَamong الْغٰفِلِیْنَthe heedless ۟(205) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who عِنْدَ(are) near رَبِّكَyour Lord لَاnot یَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ(do) they turn away in pride عَنْfrom عِبَادَتِهٖHis worship وَیُسَبِّحُوْنَهٗAnd they glorify Him وَلَهٗand to Him یَسْجُدُوْنَthey prostrate ۟(206) Surah 7. Al-Araf - Page 176- Juz 9 Surah 8. Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War) V75 بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَThey ask you عَنِabout الْاَنْفَالِ ؕthe spoils of war قُلِSay الْاَنْفَالُThe spoils of war لِلّٰهِ(are) for Allah وَالرَّسُوْلِ ۚand the Messenger فَاتَّقُواSo fear اللّٰهَAllah وَاَصْلِحُوْاand set right ذَاتَthat بَیْنِكُمْ ۪(which is) between you وَاَطِیْعُواand obey اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗۤand His Messenger اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(1) اِنَّمَاOnly الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَthe believers الَّذِیْنَ(are) those who اِذَاwhen ذُكِرَis mentioned اللّٰهُAllah وَجِلَتْfeel fear قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts وَاِذَاand when تُلِیَتْare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُهٗHis Verses زَادَتْهُمْthey increase them اِیْمَانًا(in) faith وَّعَلٰیand upon رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord یَتَوَكَّلُوْنَthey put their trust ۟ۚۖ(2) الَّذِیْنَThose who یُقِیْمُوْنَestablish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَمِمَّاand out of what رَزَقْنٰهُمْWe have provided them یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend ۟ؕ(3) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose هُمُthey are الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَthe believers حَقًّا ؕ(in) truth لَهُمْFor them دَرَجٰتٌ(are) ranks عِنْدَwith رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord وَمَغْفِرَةٌand forgiveness وَّرِزْقٌand a provision كَرِیْمٌnoble ۟ۚ(4) كَمَاۤAs اَخْرَجَكَbrought you out رَبُّكَyour Lord مِنْfrom بَیْتِكَyour home بِالْحَقِّ ۪in truth وَاِنَّwhile indeed فَرِیْقًاa party مِّنَamong الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers لَكٰرِهُوْنَcertainly disliked ۟ۙ(5) یُجَادِلُوْنَكَThey dispute with you فِیconcerning الْحَقِّthe truth بَعْدَ مَاafter what تَبَیَّنَafter what كَاَنَّمَاwas made clear یُسَاقُوْنَas if اِلَیthey were driven الْمَوْتِto وَهُمْ[the] death یَنْظُرُوْنَwhile they ۟ؕ(6) وَاِذْAnd when یَعِدُكُمُpromised you اللّٰهُAllah اِحْدَیone الطَّآىِٕفَتَیْنِ(of) the two groups اَنَّهَاthat it (would be) لَكُمْfor you وَتَوَدُّوْنَand you wished اَنَّthat غَیْرَ(one) other than ذَاتِthat الشَّوْكَةِ(of) the armed تَكُوْنُwould be لَكُمْfor you وَیُرِیْدُBut intended اللّٰهُAllah اَنْto یُّحِقَّjustify الْحَقَّthe truth بِكَلِمٰتِهٖby His words وَیَقْطَعَand cut off دَابِرَ(the) roots الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers ۟ۙ(7) لِیُحِقَّThat He might justify الْحَقَّthe truth وَیُبْطِلَand prove false الْبَاطِلَthe falsehood وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَdisliked (it) الْمُجْرِمُوْنَthe criminals ۟ۚ(8) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 177- Juz 9 اِذْWhen تَسْتَغِیْثُوْنَyou were seeking help رَبَّكُمْ(of) your Lord فَاسْتَجَابَand He answered لَكُمْ[to] you اَنِّیْIndeed, I am مُمِدُّكُمْgoing to reinforce you بِاَلْفٍwith a thousand مِّنَof الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِthe Angels مُرْدِفِیْنَone after another ۟(9) وَمَاAnd not جَعَلَهُ(it was) made اللّٰهُ(by) Allah اِلَّاbut بُشْرٰیgood tidings وَلِتَطْمَىِٕنَّand so that might be at rest بِهٖwith it قُلُوْبُكُمْ ۚyour hearts وَمَاAnd (there is) no النَّصْرُ[the] victory اِلَّاexcept مِنْfrom عِنْدِ[of] اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟۠(10) اِذْWhen یُغَشِّیْكُمُHe covered you النُّعَاسَwith [the] slumber اَمَنَةًa security مِّنْهُfrom Him وَیُنَزِّلُand sent down عَلَیْكُمْupon you مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater لِّیُطَهِّرَكُمْso that He may purify you بِهٖwith it وَیُذْهِبَand take away عَنْكُمْfrom you رِجْزَevil (suggestions) الشَّیْطٰنِ(of) the Shaitaan وَلِیَرْبِطَAnd to strengthen عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِكُمْyour hearts وَیُثَبِّتَand make firm بِهِwith it الْاَقْدَامَyour feet ۟ؕ(11) اِذْWhen یُوْحِیْinspired رَبُّكَyour Lord اِلَیto الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِthe Angels اَنِّیْI am مَعَكُمْwith you فَثَبِّتُواso strengthen الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْا ؕbelieved سَاُلْقِیْI will cast فِیْin قُلُوْبِ(the) hearts الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُواdisbelieved الرُّعْبَthe terror فَاضْرِبُوْاso strike فَوْقَabove الْاَعْنَاقِthe necks وَاضْرِبُوْاand strike مِنْهُمْfrom them كُلَّevery بَنَانٍfingertip[s] ۟ؕ(12) ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(is) because they شَآقُّواopposed اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۚand His Messenger وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّشَاقِقِopposes اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗand His Messenger فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِin [the] penalty ۟(13) ذٰلِكُمْThat فَذُوْقُوْهُSo taste it وَاَنَّAnd that لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَfor the disbelievers عَذَابَ(is the) punishment النَّارِ(of) the Fire ۟(14) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اِذَاWhen لَقِیْتُمُyou meet الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve زَحْفًاadvancing فَلَاthen (do) not تُوَلُّوْهُمُturn to them الْاَدْبَارَthe backs ۟ۚ(15) وَمَنْAnd whoever یُّوَلِّهِمْturns to them یَوْمَىِٕذٍthat day دُبُرَهٗۤhis back اِلَّاexcept مُتَحَرِّفًا(as) a strategy لِّقِتَالٍof war اَوْor مُتَحَیِّزًا(to) join اِلٰیto فِئَةٍa group فَقَدْcertainly بَآءَ(he has) incurred بِغَضَبٍwrath مِّنَof اللّٰهِAllah وَمَاْوٰىهُand his abode جَهَنَّمُ ؕ(is) Hell وَبِئْسَa wretched الْمَصِیْرُdestination ۟(16) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 178- Juz 9 فَلَمْAnd not تَقْتُلُوْهُمْyou kill them وَلٰكِنَّbut اللّٰهَAllah قَتَلَهُمْ ۪killed them وَمَاAnd not رَمَیْتَyou threw اِذْwhen رَمَیْتَyou threw وَلٰكِنَّbut اللّٰهَAllah رَمٰی ۚthrew وَلِیُبْلِیَand that He may test الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers مِنْهُfrom Him بَلَآءً(with) a trial حَسَنًا ؕgood اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟(17) ذٰلِكُمْThat (is the case) وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah (is) مُوْهِنُone who makes weak كَیْدِ(the) plan الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers ۟(18) اِنْIf تَسْتَفْتِحُوْاyou ask for victory فَقَدْthen certainly جَآءَكُمُhas come to you الْفَتْحُ ۚthe victory وَاِنْAnd if تَنْتَهُوْاyou desist فَهُوَthen it (is) خَیْرٌgood لَّكُمْ ۚfor you وَاِنْbut if تَعُوْدُوْاyou return نَعُدْ ۚWe will return (too) وَلَنْAnd never تُغْنِیَwill avail عَنْكُمْyou فِئَتُكُمْyour forces شَیْـًٔاanything وَّلَوْeven if كَثُرَتْ ۙ(they are) numerous وَاَنَّAnd that اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers ۟۠(19) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اَطِیْعُواObey اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗand His Messenger وَلَاAnd (do) not تَوَلَّوْاturn away عَنْهُfrom him وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَسْمَعُوْنَhear ۟ۚۖ(20) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكُوْنُوْاbe كَالَّذِیْنَlike those who قَالُوْاsay سَمِعْنَاWe heard وَهُمْwhile they لَا(do) not یَسْمَعُوْنَhear ۟(21) اِنَّIndeed شَرَّworst الدَّوَآبِّ(of) the living creatures عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِAllah الصُّمُّ(are) the deaf الْبُكْمُthe dumb الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یَعْقِلُوْنَuse (their) intellect ۟(22) وَلَوْAnd if عَلِمَ(had) known اللّٰهُAllah فِیْهِمْin them خَیْرًاany good لَّاَسْمَعَهُمْ ؕsurely, He (would) have made them hear وَلَوْAnd if اَسْمَعَهُمْHe had made them hear لَتَوَلَّوْاsurely they would have turned away وَّهُمْwhile they مُّعْرِضُوْنَ(were) averse ۟(23) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُواbelieve اسْتَجِیْبُوْاRespond لِلّٰهِto Allah وَلِلرَّسُوْلِand His Messenger اِذَاwhen دَعَاكُمْhe calls you لِمَاto what یُحْیِیْكُمْ ۚgives you life وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَحُوْلُcomes بَیْنَ(in) between الْمَرْءِa man وَقَلْبِهٖand his heart وَاَنَّهٗۤand that اِلَیْهِto Him تُحْشَرُوْنَyou will be gathered ۟(24) وَاتَّقُوْاAnd fear فِتْنَةًa trial لَّاnot تُصِیْبَنَّwhich will afflict الَّذِیْنَthose who ظَلَمُوْاdo wrong مِنْكُمْamong you خَآصَّةً ۚexclusively وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِ(in) the penalty ۟(25) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 179- Juz 9 وَاذْكُرُوْۤاAnd remember اِذْwhen اَنْتُمْyou قَلِیْلٌ(were) few مُّسْتَضْعَفُوْنَ(and) deemed weak فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth تَخَافُوْنَfearing اَنْthat یَّتَخَطَّفَكُمُmight do away with you النَّاسُthe men فَاٰوٰىكُمْthen He sheltered you وَاَیَّدَكُمْand strengthened you بِنَصْرِهٖwith His help وَرَزَقَكُمْand provided you مِّنَof الطَّیِّبٰتِthe good things لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَشْكُرُوْنَ(be) thankful ۟(26) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve لَا(Do) not تَخُوْنُواbetray اللّٰهَAllah وَالرَّسُوْلَand the Messenger وَتَخُوْنُوْۤاor betray اَمٰنٰتِكُمْyour trusts وَاَنْتُمْwhile you تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(27) وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّمَاۤthat اَمْوَالُكُمْyour wealth وَاَوْلَادُكُمْand your children فِتْنَةٌ ۙ(are) a trial وَّاَنَّAnd that اللّٰهَAllah عِنْدَهٗۤwith Him اَجْرٌ(is) a reward عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟۠(28) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اِنْIf تَتَّقُواyou fear اللّٰهَAllah یَجْعَلْHe will grant لَّكُمْyou فُرْقَانًاa criterion وَّیُكَفِّرْand will remove عَنْكُمْfrom you سَیِّاٰتِكُمْyour evil deeds وَیَغْفِرْand forgive لَكُمْ ؕyou وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah ذُو(is) the Possessor الْفَضْلِ(of) Bounty الْعَظِیْمِthe Great ۟(29) وَاِذْAnd when یَمْكُرُplotted بِكَagainst you الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved لِیُثْبِتُوْكَthat they restrain you اَوْor یَقْتُلُوْكَkill you اَوْor یُخْرِجُوْكَ ؕdrive you out وَیَمْكُرُوْنَAnd they were planning وَیَمْكُرُand (also) was planning اللّٰهُ ؕAllah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah خَیْرُis (the) Best الْمٰكِرِیْنَ(of) the Planners ۟(30) وَاِذَاAnd when تُتْلٰیare recited عَلَیْهِمْto them اٰیٰتُنَاOur Verses قَالُوْاthey say قَدْVerily سَمِعْنَاwe have heard لَوْif نَشَآءُwe wish لَقُلْنَاsurely, we could say مِثْلَlike هٰذَاۤ ۙthis اِنْNot هٰذَاۤis this اِلَّاۤbut اَسَاطِیْرُtales الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(31) وَاِذْAnd when قَالُواthey said اللّٰهُمَّO Allah اِنْIf كَانَwas هٰذَاthis هُوَ[it] الْحَقَّthe truth مِنْ[of] عِنْدِكَfrom You فَاَمْطِرْthen (send) rain عَلَیْنَاupon us حِجَارَةً(of) stones مِّنَfrom السَّمَآءِthe sky اَوِor ائْتِنَاbring (upon) us بِعَذَابٍa punishment اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟(32) وَمَاBut not كَانَis اللّٰهُ(for) Allah لِیُعَذِّبَهُمْthat He punishes them وَاَنْتَwhile you فِیْهِمْ ؕ(are) among them وَمَاand not كَانَis اللّٰهُAllah مُعَذِّبَهُمْthe One Who punishes them وَهُمْwhile they یَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَseek forgiveness ۟(33) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 180- Juz 9 وَمَاBut what لَهُمْ(is) for them اَلَّاthat not یُعَذِّبَهُمُ(should) punish them اللّٰهُAllah وَهُمْwhile they یَصُدُّوْنَhinder (people) عَنِfrom الْمَسْجِدِAl-Masjid الْحَرَامِAl-Haraam وَمَاwhile not كَانُوْۤاthey are اَوْلِیَآءَهٗ ؕits guardians اِنْNot (can be) اَوْلِیَآؤُهٗۤits guardians اِلَّاexcept الْمُتَّقُوْنَthe ones who fear Allah وَلٰكِنَّbut اَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(34) وَمَاAnd not كَانَwas صَلَاتُهُمْtheir prayer عِنْدَat الْبَیْتِthe House اِلَّاexcept مُكَآءًwhistling وَّتَصْدِیَةً ؕand clapping فَذُوْقُواSo taste الْعَذَابَthe punishment بِمَاbecause كُنْتُمْyou used to تَكْفُرُوْنَdisbelieve ۟(35) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend اَمْوَالَهُمْtheir wealth لِیَصُدُّوْاto hinder (people) عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah فَسَیُنْفِقُوْنَهَاSo they will spend it ثُمَّthen تَكُوْنُit will be عَلَیْهِمْfor them حَسْرَةًa regret ثُمَّthen یُغْلَبُوْنَ ؕ۬they will be overcome وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve اِلٰیto جَهَنَّمَHell یُحْشَرُوْنَthey will be gathered ۟ۙ(36) لِیَمِیْزَThat may distinguish اللّٰهُAllah الْخَبِیْثَthe wicked مِنَfrom الطَّیِّبِthe good وَیَجْعَلَand place الْخَبِیْثَthe wicked بَعْضَهٗsome of them عَلٰیon بَعْضٍothers فَیَرْكُمَهٗand heap them جَمِیْعًاall together فَیَجْعَلَهٗand put them فِیْin جَهَنَّمَ ؕHell اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose هُمُthey الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟۠(37) قُلْSay لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who كَفَرُوْۤاdisbelieve اِنْif یَّنْتَهُوْاthey cease یُغْفَرْwill be forgiven لَهُمْfor them مَّاwhat قَدْ[verily] سَلَفَ ۚ(is) past وَاِنْBut if یَّعُوْدُوْاthey return فَقَدْthen verily مَضَتْpreceded سُنَّتُ(the) practice الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(of) the former (people) ۟(38) وَقَاتِلُوْهُمْAnd fight them حَتّٰیuntil لَاnot تَكُوْنَthere is فِتْنَةٌoppression وَّیَكُوْنَand is الدِّیْنُthe religion كُلُّهٗall of it لِلّٰهِ ۚfor Allah فَاِنِBut if انْتَهَوْاthey cease فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah بِمَاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(39) وَاِنْAnd if تَوَلَّوْاthey turn away فَاعْلَمُوْۤاthen know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah مَوْلٰىكُمْ ؕ(is) your Protector نِعْمَExcellent الْمَوْلٰی(is) the Protector وَنِعْمَand Excellent النَّصِیْرُ(is) the Helper ۟(40) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 181- Juz 9 وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّمَاthat what غَنِمْتُمْyou obtain (as) spoils of war مِّنْof شَیْءٍanything فَاَنَّthen that لِلّٰهِfor Allah خُمُسَهٗ(is) one fifth of it وَلِلرَّسُوْلِand for the Messenger وَلِذِیand for the الْقُرْبٰیnear relatives وَالْیَتٰمٰیand the orphans وَالْمَسٰكِیْنِand the needy وَابْنِand the السَّبِیْلِ ۙwayfarer اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou اٰمَنْتُمْbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَمَاۤand (in) what اَنْزَلْنَاWe sent down عَلٰیto عَبْدِنَاOur slave یَوْمَ(on the) day الْفُرْقَانِ(of) the criterion یَوْمَ(the) day الْتَقَی(when) met الْجَمْعٰنِ ؕthe two forces وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(41) اِذْWhen اَنْتُمْyou (were) بِالْعُدْوَةِon side of the valley الدُّنْیَاthe nearer وَهُمْand they بِالْعُدْوَةِ(were) on the side الْقُصْوٰیthe farther وَالرَّكْبُand the caravan اَسْفَلَ(was) lower مِنْكُمْ ؕthan you وَلَوْAnd if تَوَاعَدْتُّمْyou (had) made an appointment لَاخْتَلَفْتُمْcertainly you would have failed فِیin الْمِیْعٰدِ ۙthe appointment وَلٰكِنْBut لِّیَقْضِیَthat might accomplish اللّٰهُAllah اَمْرًاa matter كَانَ(that) was مَفْعُوْلًا ۙ۬destined لِّیَهْلِكَthat (might be) destroyed مَنْ(those) who هَلَكَ(were to be) destroyed عَنْon بَیِّنَةٍa clear evidence وَّیَحْیٰیand (might) live مَنْ(those) who حَیَّ(were to) live عَنْon بَیِّنَةٍ ؕa clear evidence وَاِنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَسَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟ۙ(42) اِذْWhen یُرِیْكَهُمُyou (where) shown them اللّٰهُ(by) Allah فِیْin مَنَامِكَyour dream قَلِیْلًا ؕ(as) few وَلَوْand if اَرٰىكَهُمْHe had shown them to you كَثِیْرًا(as) many لَّفَشِلْتُمْsurely you would have lost courage وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْand surely you would have disputed فِیin الْاَمْرِthe matter وَلٰكِنَّbut اللّٰهَAllah سَلَّمَ ؕsaved (you) اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِذَاتِof what is in الصُّدُوْرِthe breasts ۟(43) وَاِذْAnd when یُرِیْكُمُوْهُمْHe showed them to you اِذِwhen الْتَقَیْتُمْyou met فِیْۤin اَعْیُنِكُمْyour eyes قَلِیْلًا(as) few وَّیُقَلِّلُكُمْand He made you (appear) as few فِیْۤin اَعْیُنِهِمْtheir eyes لِیَقْضِیَthat might accomplish اللّٰهُAllah might accomplish اَمْرًاa matter كَانَ(that) was مَفْعُوْلًا ؕ(already) destined وَاِلَیAnd to اللّٰهِAllah تُرْجَعُreturn الْاُمُوْرُ(all) the matters ۟۠(44) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اِذَاWhen لَقِیْتُمْyou meet فِئَةًa force فَاثْبُتُوْاthen be firm وَاذْكُرُواand remember اللّٰهَAllah كَثِیْرًاmuch لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تُفْلِحُوْنَ(be) successful ۟ۚ(45) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 182- Juz 10 وَاَطِیْعُواAnd obey اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗand His Messenger وَلَاand (do) not تَنَازَعُوْاdispute فَتَفْشَلُوْاlest you lose courage وَتَذْهَبَand (would) depart رِیْحُكُمْyour strength وَاصْبِرُوْا ؕand be patient اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الصّٰبِرِیْنَthe patient ones ۟ۚ(46) وَلَاAnd (do) not تَكُوْنُوْاbe كَالَّذِیْنَlike those who خَرَجُوْاcame forth مِنْfrom دِیَارِهِمْtheir homes بَطَرًاboastfully وَّرِئَآءَand showing off النَّاسِ(to) the people وَیَصُدُّوْنَand hinder (them) عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاof what یَعْمَلُوْنَthey do مُحِیْطٌ(is) All-Encompassing ۟(47) وَاِذْAnd when زَیَّنَmade fair-seeming لَهُمُto them الشَّیْطٰنُthe Shaitaan اَعْمَالَهُمْtheir deeds وَقَالَand he said لَاNo (one) غَالِبَ(can) overcome لَكُمُ[to] you الْیَوْمَtoday مِنَfrom النَّاسِthe people وَاِنِّیْand indeed, I am جَارٌa neighbor لَّكُمْ ۚfor you فَلَمَّاBut when تَرَآءَتِcame in sight الْفِئَتٰنِthe two forces نَكَصَhe turned away عَلٰیon عَقِبَیْهِhis heels وَقَالَand said اِنِّیْIndeed, I am بَرِیْٓءٌfree مِّنْكُمْof you اِنِّیْۤIndeed, I اَرٰیsee مَاwhat لَاnot تَرَوْنَyou see اِنِّیْۤindeed, I اَخَافُ[I] fear اللّٰهَ ؕAllah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah شَدِیْدُ(is) severe الْعِقَابِ(in) the penalty ۟۠(48) اِذْWhen یَقُوْلُsaid الْمُنٰفِقُوْنَthe hypocrites وَالَّذِیْنَand those who فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts مَّرَضٌ(was) a disease غَرَّ(Had) deluded هٰۤؤُلَآءِthese (people) دِیْنُهُمْ ؕtheir religion وَمَنْBut whoever یَّتَوَكَّلْputs (his) trust عَلَیin اللّٰهِAllah فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(49) وَلَوْAnd if تَرٰۤیyou (could) see اِذْwhen یَتَوَفَّیtake away souls الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوا ۙdisbelieve الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُthe Angels یَضْرِبُوْنَstriking وُجُوْهَهُمْtheir faces وَاَدْبَارَهُمْ ۚand their backs وَذُوْقُوْاTaste عَذَابَ(the) punishment الْحَرِیْقِ(of) the Blazing Fire ۟(50) ذٰلِكَThat بِمَا(is) for what قَدَّمَتْsent forth اَیْدِیْكُمْyour hands وَاَنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَیْسَ(is) not بِظَلَّامٍunjust لِّلْعَبِیْدِto His slaves ۟ۙ(51) كَدَاْبِLike (the) way اٰلِ(of) people فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ(of) Firaun وَالَّذِیْنَand those who مِنْ(were) from قَبْلِهِمْ ؕbefore them كَفَرُوْاThey disbelieved بِاٰیٰتِin (the) Signs اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَاَخَذَهُمُso seized them اللّٰهُAllah بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ؕfor their sins اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah قَوِیٌّ(is) All-Strong شَدِیْدُ(and) severe الْعِقَابِ(in) the penalty ۟(52) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 183- Juz 10 ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّ(is) because اللّٰهَAllah لَمْnot یَكُis مُغَیِّرًاOne Who changes نِّعْمَةًa favor اَنْعَمَهَاwhich He had bestowed عَلٰیon قَوْمٍa people حَتّٰیuntil یُغَیِّرُوْاthey change مَاwhat بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ ۙ(is) in themselves وَاَنَّAnd indeed اللّٰهَAllah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearing عَلِیْمٌAll-Knowing ۟ۙ(53) كَدَاْبِLike (the) way اٰلِ(of) people فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ(of) Firaun وَالَّذِیْنَand those who مِنْ(were) from قَبْلِهِمْ ؕbefore them كَذَّبُوْاThey denied بِاٰیٰتِ(the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْso We destroyed them بِذُنُوْبِهِمْfor their sins وَاَغْرَقْنَاۤand We drowned اٰلَ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ(of) Firaun وَكُلٌّand (they) all كَانُوْاwere ظٰلِمِیْنَwrongdoers ۟(54) اِنَّIndeed شَرَّ(the) worst الدَّوَآبِّ(of) the living creatures عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِAllah الَّذِیْنَ(are) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve فَهُمْand they لَا(will) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve ۟ۖۚ(55) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who عٰهَدْتَّyou made a covenant مِنْهُمْwith them ثُمَّthen یَنْقُضُوْنَthey break عَهْدَهُمْtheir covenant فِیْ[in] كُلِّevery مَرَّةٍtime وَّهُمْand they لَا(do) not یَتَّقُوْنَfear (Allah) ۟(56) فَاِمَّاSo if تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْyou gain dominance over them فِیin الْحَرْبِthe war فَشَرِّدْdisperse بِهِمْby them مَّنْ(those) who خَلْفَهُمْ(are) behind them لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَذَّكَّرُوْنَtake heed ۟(57) وَاِمَّاAnd if تَخَافَنَّyou fear مِنْfrom قَوْمٍa people خِیَانَةًbetrayal فَانْۢبِذْthrow back اِلَیْهِمْto them عَلٰیon سَوَآءٍ ؕequal (terms) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُحِبُّlove الْخَآىِٕنِیْنَthe traitors ۟۠(58) وَلَاAnd (let) not یَحْسَبَنَّthink الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve سَبَقُوْا ؕthey can outstrip اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they لَا(can) not یُعْجِزُوْنَescape ۟(59) وَاَعِدُّوْاAnd prepare لَهُمْfor them مَّاwhatever اسْتَطَعْتُمْyou able (to) مِّنْof قُوَّةٍforce وَّمِنْand of رِّبَاطِtethered الْخَیْلِhorses تُرْهِبُوْنَ(to) terrify بِهٖtherewith عَدُوَّ(the) enemy اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَعَدُوَّكُمْand your enemy وَاٰخَرِیْنَand others مِنْfrom دُوْنِهِمْ ۚbesides them لَاnot تَعْلَمُوْنَهُمْ ۚ(do) you know them اَللّٰهُ(but) Allah یَعْلَمُهُمْ ؕknows them وَمَاAnd whatever تُنْفِقُوْاyou spend مِنْfrom شَیْءٍ(any) thing فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah یُوَفَّit will be fully repaid اِلَیْكُمْto you وَاَنْتُمْand you لَا(will) not تُظْلَمُوْنَbe wronged ۟(60) وَاِنْAnd if جَنَحُوْاthey incline لِلسَّلْمِto peace فَاجْنَحْthen you (also) incline لَهَاto it وَتَوَكَّلْand put (your) trust عَلَیin اللّٰهِ ؕAllah اِنَّهٗIndeed هُوَHe السَّمِیْعُ(is) All-Hearer الْعَلِیْمُAll-Knower ۟(61) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 184- Juz 10 وَاِنْBut if یُّرِیْدُوْۤاthey intend اَنْto یَّخْدَعُوْكَdeceive you فَاِنَّthen indeed حَسْبَكَis sufficient for you اللّٰهُ ؕAllah هُوَHe الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَیَّدَكَsupported you بِنَصْرِهٖwith His help وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَand with the believers ۟ۙ(62) وَاَلَّفَAnd He (has) put affection بَیْنَbetween قُلُوْبِهِمْ ؕtheir hearts لَوْIf اَنْفَقْتَyou (had) spent مَاwhatever فِی(is) in الْاَرْضِthe earth جَمِیْعًاall مَّاۤnot اَلَّفْتَ(could) you (have) put affection بَیْنَbetween قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts وَلٰكِنَّbut اللّٰهَAllah اَلَّفَ(has) put affection بَیْنَهُمْ ؕbetween them اِنَّهٗIndeed, He عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(63) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّبِیُّProphet حَسْبُكَSufficient for you اللّٰهُ(is) Allah وَمَنِand whoever اتَّبَعَكَfollows you مِنَof الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers ۟۠(64) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّبِیُّProphet حَرِّضِUrge الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers عَلَیto الْقِتَالِ ؕ[the] fight اِنْIf یَّكُنْ(there) are مِّنْكُمْamong you عِشْرُوْنَtwenty صٰبِرُوْنَsteadfast یَغْلِبُوْاthey will overcome مِائَتَیْنِ ۚtwo hundred وَاِنْAnd if یَّكُنْ(there) are مِّنْكُمْamong you مِّائَةٌa hundred یَّغْلِبُوْۤاthey will overcome اَلْفًاa thousand مِّنَof الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they قَوْمٌ(are) a people لَّا(who do) not یَفْقَهُوْنَunderstand ۟(65) اَلْـٰٔنَNow خَفَّفَhas (been) lightened اللّٰهُ(by) Allah عَنْكُمْfor you وَعَلِمَand He knows اَنَّthat فِیْكُمْin you ضَعْفًا ؕ(there) is weakness فَاِنْSo if یَّكُنْ(there) are مِّنْكُمْamong you مِّائَةٌa hundred صَابِرَةٌsteadfast یَّغْلِبُوْاthey will overcome مِائَتَیْنِ ۚtwo hundred وَاِنْAnd if یَّكُنْ(there) are مِّنْكُمْamong you اَلْفٌa thousand یَّغْلِبُوْۤاthey will overcome اَلْفَیْنِtwo thousand بِاِذْنِwith (the) permission اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah مَعَ(is) with الصّٰبِرِیْنَthe steadfast ۟(66) مَاNot كَانَis لِنَبِیٍّfor a Prophet اَنْthat یَّكُوْنَ(there) should be لَهٗۤfor him اَسْرٰیprisoners of war حَتّٰیuntil یُثْخِنَhe has battled strenuously فِیin الْاَرْضِ ؕthe land تُرِیْدُوْنَYou desire عَرَضَ(the) commodities الدُّنْیَا ۖۗ(of) the world وَاللّٰهُbut Allah یُرِیْدُdesires الْاٰخِرَةَ ؕ(for you) the Hereafter وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(67) لَوْلَاHad not كِتٰبٌan ordainment مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah سَبَقَpreceded لَمَسَّكُمْsurely (would) have touched you فِیْمَاۤfor what اَخَذْتُمْyou took عَذَابٌa punishment عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(68) فَكُلُوْاSo eat مِمَّاfrom what غَنِمْتُمْyou got as war booty حَلٰلًاlawful طَیِّبًا ۖؗ(and) good وَّاتَّقُواand fear اللّٰهَ ؕAllah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟۠(69) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 185- Juz 10 یٰۤاَیُّهَاO النَّبِیُّProphet قُلْSay لِّمَنْto whoever فِیْۤ(is) in اَیْدِیْكُمْyour hands مِّنَof الْاَسْرٰۤی ۙthe captives اِنْIf یَّعْلَمِknows اللّٰهُAllah فِیْin قُلُوْبِكُمْyour hearts خَیْرًاany good یُّؤْتِكُمْHe will give you خَیْرًاbetter مِّمَّاۤthan what اُخِذَwas taken مِنْكُمْfrom you وَیَغْفِرْand He will forgive لَكُمْ ؕyou وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(70) وَاِنْBut if یُّرِیْدُوْاthey intend خِیَانَتَكَ(to) betray you فَقَدْcertainly خَانُواthey have betrayed اللّٰهَAllah مِنْfrom قَبْلُbefore فَاَمْكَنَSo He gave (you) power مِنْهُمْ ؕover them وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(71) اِنَّIndeed الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَهَاجَرُوْاand emigrated وَجٰهَدُوْاand strove hard بِاَمْوَالِهِمْwith their wealth وَاَنْفُسِهِمْand their lives فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰوَوْاgave shelter وَّنَصَرُوْۤاand helped اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اَوْلِیَآءُ(are) allies بَعْضٍ ؕ(of) another وَالَّذِیْنَBut those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَلَمْand (did) not یُهَاجِرُوْاemigrate مَا(it is) not لَكُمْfor you مِّنْ(of) وَّلَایَتِهِمْtheir protection مِّنْ(in) شَیْءٍ(in) anything حَتّٰیuntil یُهَاجِرُوْا ۚthey emigrate وَاِنِAnd if اسْتَنْصَرُوْكُمْthey seek your help فِیin الدِّیْنِthe religion فَعَلَیْكُمُthen upon you النَّصْرُ(is to) help them اِلَّاexcept عَلٰیagainst قَوْمٍa people بَیْنَكُمْbetween you وَبَیْنَهُمْand between them مِّیْثَاقٌ ؕ(is) a treaty وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do بَصِیْرٌ(is) All-Seer ۟(72) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اَوْلِیَآءُ(are) allies بَعْضٍ ؕ(to) another اِلَّاIf not تَفْعَلُوْهُyou do it تَكُنْ(there) will be فِتْنَةٌoppression فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth وَفَسَادٌand corruption كَبِیْرٌgreat ۟ؕ(73) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَهَاجَرُوْاand emigrated وَجٰهَدُوْاand strove hard فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰوَوْاgave shelter وَّنَصَرُوْۤاand helped اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose هُمُthey (are) الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَthe believers حَقًّا ؕ(in) truth لَهُمْFor them مَّغْفِرَةٌ(is) forgiveness وَّرِزْقٌand a provision كَرِیْمٌnoble ۟(74) وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مِنْfrom بَعْدُafterwards وَهَاجَرُوْاand emigrated وَجٰهَدُوْاand strove hard مَعَكُمْwith you فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those مِنْكُمْ ؕ(are) of you وَاُولُواBut those الْاَرْحَامِ(of) blood relationship بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اَوْلٰی(are) nearer بِبَعْضٍto another فِیْin كِتٰبِ(the) Book اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِكُلِّof every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟۠(75) Surah 8. Al-Anfal - Page 186- Juz 10 Surah 9. At-Tawbah (The Repentance) V129 بَرَآءَةٌFreedom from obligations مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah وَرَسُوْلِهٖۤand His Messenger اِلَیto الَّذِیْنَthose (with) whom عٰهَدْتُّمْyou made a covenant مِّنَfrom الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ۟ؕ(1) فَسِیْحُوْاSo move about فِیin الْاَرْضِthe land اَرْبَعَةَ(during) four اَشْهُرٍmonths وَّاعْلَمُوْۤاbut know اَنَّكُمْthat you غَیْرُ(can) not مُعْجِزِیescape اللّٰهِ ۙAllah وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah مُخْزِی(is) the One Who (will) disgrace الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(2) وَاَذَانٌAnd an announcement مِّنَfrom Allah اللّٰهِfrom Allah وَرَسُوْلِهٖۤand His Messenger اِلَیto النَّاسِthe people یَوْمَ(on the) day الْحَجِّ(of) the greater Pilgrimage الْاَكْبَرِ(of) the greater Pilgrimage اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah بَرِیْٓءٌ(is) free from obligations مِّنَ[of] الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ ۙ۬(to) the polytheists وَرَسُوْلُهٗ ؕand (so is) His Messenger فَاِنْSo if تُبْتُمْyou repent فَهُوَthen, it is خَیْرٌbest لَّكُمْ ۚfor you وَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّیْتُمْyou turn away فَاعْلَمُوْۤاthen know اَنَّكُمْthat you غَیْرُ(can) not مُعْجِزِیescape اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الَّذِیْنَ(to) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِعَذَابٍof a punishment اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟ۙ(3) اِلَّاExcept الَّذِیْنَthose (with) whom عٰهَدْتُّمْyou have a covenant مِّنَamong الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists ثُمَّthen لَمْnot یَنْقُصُوْكُمْthey have failed you شَیْـًٔا(in any) thing وَّلَمْand not یُظَاهِرُوْاthey have supported عَلَیْكُمْagainst you اَحَدًاanyone فَاَتِمُّوْۤاso fulfil اِلَیْهِمْto them عَهْدَهُمْtheir treaty اِلٰیtill مُدَّتِهِمْ ؕtheir term اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُحِبُّloves الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟(4) فَاِذَاThen when انْسَلَخَhave passed الْاَشْهُرُthe sacred months الْحُرُمُthe sacred months فَاقْتُلُواthen kill الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists حَیْثُwherever وَجَدْتُّمُوْهُمْyou find them وَخُذُوْهُمْand seize them وَاحْصُرُوْهُمْand besiege them وَاقْعُدُوْاand sit (in wait) لَهُمْfor them كُلَّ(at) every مَرْصَدٍ ۚplace of ambush فَاِنْBut if تَابُوْاthey repent وَاَقَامُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَوُاand give الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah فَخَلُّوْاthen leave سَبِیْلَهُمْ ؕtheir way اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(5) وَاِنْAnd if اَحَدٌanyone مِّنَof الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists اسْتَجَارَكَseek your protection فَاَجِرْهُthen grant him protection حَتّٰیuntil یَسْمَعَhe hears كَلٰمَ(the) Words of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Words of Allah ثُمَّThen اَبْلِغْهُescort him مَاْمَنَهٗ ؕ(to) his place of safety ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(is) because they قَوْمٌ(are) a people لَّا(who) do not know یَعْلَمُوْنَ(who) do not know ۟۠(6) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 187- Juz 10 كَیْفَHow یَكُوْنُcan (there) be لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَfor the polytheists عَهْدٌa covenant عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِAllah وَعِنْدَand with رَسُوْلِهٖۤHis Messenger اِلَّاexcept الَّذِیْنَthose (with) whom عٰهَدْتُّمْyou made a covenant عِنْدَnear الْمَسْجِدِAl-Masjid الْحَرَامِ ۚAl-Haraam فَمَاSo long as اسْتَقَامُوْاthey are upright لَكُمْto you فَاسْتَقِیْمُوْاthen you be upright لَهُمْ ؕto them اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah یُحِبُّloves الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟(7) كَیْفَHow وَاِنْwhile, if یَّظْهَرُوْاthey gain dominance عَلَیْكُمْover you لَاthey do not regard (the ties) یَرْقُبُوْاthey do not regard (the ties) فِیْكُمْwith you اِلًّا(of) kinship وَّلَاand not ذِمَّةً ؕcovenant of protection یُرْضُوْنَكُمْThey satisfy you بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْwith their mouths وَتَاْبٰیbut refuse قُلُوْبُهُمْ ۚtheir hearts وَاَكْثَرُهُمْand most of them فٰسِقُوْنَ(are) defiantly disobedient ۟ۚ(8) اِشْتَرَوْاThey exchange بِاٰیٰتِ[with] the Verses of Allah اللّٰهِ[with] the Verses of Allah ثَمَنًا(for) a little price قَلِیْلًا(for) a little price فَصَدُّوْاand they hinder (people) عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِهٖ ؕHis way اِنَّهُمْIndeed سَآءَevil مَا(is) what كَانُوْاthey used to یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(9) لَاNot یَرْقُبُوْنَthey respect (the ties) فِیْtowards مُؤْمِنٍa believer اِلًّا(of) kinship وَّلَاand not ذِمَّةً ؕcovenant of protection وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those هُمُ[they] الْمُعْتَدُوْنَ(are) the transgressors ۟(10) فَاِنْBut if تَابُوْاthey repent وَاَقَامُواand establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَوُاand give الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah فَاِخْوَانُكُمْthen (they are) your brothers فِیin الدِّیْنِ ؕ[the] religion وَنُفَصِّلُAnd We explain in detail الْاٰیٰتِthe Verses لِقَوْمٍfor a people یَّعْلَمُوْنَ(who) know ۟(11) وَاِنْAnd if نَّكَثُوْۤاthey break اَیْمَانَهُمْtheir oaths مِّنْafter بَعْدِafter عَهْدِهِمْtheir treaty وَطَعَنُوْاand defame فِیْ[in] دِیْنِكُمْyour religion فَقَاتِلُوْۤاthen fight اَىِٕمَّةَthe leaders الْكُفْرِ ۙ(of) [the] disbelief اِنَّهُمْindeed, they لَاۤno اَیْمَانَoaths لَهُمْfor them لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَنْتَهُوْنَcease ۟(12) اَلَاWill not تُقَاتِلُوْنَyou fight قَوْمًاa people نَّكَثُوْۤاwho broke اَیْمَانَهُمْtheir oaths وَهَمُّوْاand determined بِاِخْرَاجِto drive out الرَّسُوْلِthe Messenger وَهُمْand they بَدَءُوْكُمْbegan (to attack) you اَوَّلَfirst مَرَّةٍ ؕtime اَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ ۚDo you fear them فَاللّٰهُBut Allah اَحَقُّ(has) more right اَنْthat تَخْشَوْهُyou should fear Him اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou are مُّؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(13) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 188- Juz 10 قَاتِلُوْهُمْFight them یُعَذِّبْهُمُAllah will punish them اللّٰهُAllah will punish them بِاَیْدِیْكُمْby your hands وَیُخْزِهِمْand disgrace them وَیَنْصُرْكُمْand give you victory عَلَیْهِمْover them وَیَشْفِand will heal صُدُوْرَ(the) breasts قَوْمٍ(of) a people مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(who are) believers ۟ۙ(14) وَیُذْهِبْAnd remove غَیْظَ(the) anger قُلُوْبِهِمْ ؕ(of) their hearts وَیَتُوْبُAnd Allah accepts repentance اللّٰهُAnd Allah accepts repentance عَلٰیof مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(15) اَمْOr حَسِبْتُمْ(do) you think اَنْthat تُتْرَكُوْاyou would be left وَلَمَّاwhile not یَعْلَمِAllah made evident اللّٰهُAllah made evident الَّذِیْنَthose who جٰهَدُوْاstrive مِنْكُمْamong you وَلَمْand not یَتَّخِذُوْاtake مِنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah وَلَاand not رَسُوْلِهٖHis Messenger وَلَاand not الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers وَلِیْجَةً ؕ(as) intimates وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah خَبِیْرٌ(is) All-Aware بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُوْنَyou do ۟۠(16) مَا(It) is not كَانَ(It) is not لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَfor the polytheists اَنْthat یَّعْمُرُوْاthey maintain مَسٰجِدَ(the) masajid of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) masajid of Allah شٰهِدِیْنَ(while) witnessing عَلٰۤیagainst اَنْفُسِهِمْthemselves بِالْكُفْرِ ؕ[with] disbelief اُولٰٓىِٕكَ(For) those حَبِطَتْworthless اَعْمَالُهُمْ ۖۚ(are) their deeds وَفِیand in النَّارِthe Fire هُمْthey خٰلِدُوْنَ(will) abide forever ۟(17) اِنَّمَاOnly یَعْمُرُwill maintain مَسٰجِدَ(the) masajid of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) masajid of Allah مَنْ(the one) who اٰمَنَbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last وَاَقَامَand establishes الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَاٰتَیand gives الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah وَلَمْand not یَخْشَfear اِلَّاexcept اللّٰهَAllah فَعَسٰۤیThen perhaps اُولٰٓىِٕكَthose اَنْ[that] یَّكُوْنُوْاthey are مِنَof الْمُهْتَدِیْنَthe guided ones ۟(18) اَجَعَلْتُمْDo you make سِقَایَةَthe providing of water الْحَآجِّ(to) the pilgrims وَعِمَارَةَand (the) maintenance الْمَسْجِدِ(of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam الْحَرَامِ(of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam كَمَنْlike (the one) who اٰمَنَbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last وَجٰهَدَand strives فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah لَاThey are not equal یَسْتَوٗنَThey are not equal عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoers ۟ۘ(19) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved وَهَاجَرُوْاand emigrated وَجٰهَدُوْاand strove فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah بِاَمْوَالِهِمْwith their wealth وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ ۙand their lives اَعْظَمُ(are) greater دَرَجَةً(in) rank عِنْدَnear اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those هُمُthey الْفَآىِٕزُوْنَ(are) the successful ۟(20) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 189- Juz 10 یُبَشِّرُهُمْTheir Lord gives them glad tidings رَبُّهُمْTheir Lord gives them glad tidings بِرَحْمَةٍof Mercy مِّنْهُfrom Him وَرِضْوَانٍand Pleasure وَّجَنّٰتٍand Gardens لَّهُمْfor them فِیْهَاin it نَعِیْمٌ(is) bliss مُّقِیْمٌenduring ۟ۙ(21) خٰلِدِیْنَ(They will) abide فِیْهَاۤin it اَبَدًا ؕforever اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عِنْدَهٗۤwith Him اَجْرٌ(is) a reward عَظِیْمٌgreat ۟(22) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you الَّذِیْنَwho اٰمَنُوْاbelieve لَا(Do) not تَتَّخِذُوْۤاtake اٰبَآءَكُمْyour fathers وَاِخْوَانَكُمْand your brothers اَوْلِیَآءَ(as) allies اِنِif اسْتَحَبُّواthey prefer الْكُفْرَ[the] disbelief عَلَیover الْاِیْمَانِ ؕ[the] belief وَمَنْAnd whoever یَّتَوَلَّهُمْtakes them as allies مِّنْكُمْamong you فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَthen those هُمُ[they] الظّٰلِمُوْنَ(are) the wrongdoers ۟(23) قُلْSay اِنْIf كَانَare اٰبَآؤُكُمْyour fathers وَاَبْنَآؤُكُمْand your sons وَاِخْوَانُكُمْand your brothers وَاَزْوَاجُكُمْand your spouses وَعَشِیْرَتُكُمْand your relatives وَاَمْوَالُand wealth قْتَرَفْتُمُوْهَاthat you have acquired وَتِجَارَةٌand the commerce تَخْشَوْنَyou fear كَسَادَهَاa decline (in) it وَمَسٰكِنُand the dwellings تَرْضَوْنَهَاۤyou delight (in) it اَحَبَّ(are) more beloved اِلَیْكُمْto you مِّنَthan اللّٰهِAllah وَرَسُوْلِهٖand His Messenger وَجِهَادٍand striving فِیْin سَبِیْلِهٖHis way فَتَرَبَّصُوْاthen wait حَتّٰیuntil یَاْتِیَAllah brings اللّٰهُAllah brings بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕHis Command وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الْفٰسِقِیْنَthe defiantly disobedient ۟۠(24) لَقَدْVerily نَصَرَكُمُAllah helped you اللّٰهُAllah helped you فِیْin مَوَاطِنَregions كَثِیْرَةٍ ۙmany وَّیَوْمَand (on the) day حُنَیْنٍ ۙ(of) Hunain اِذْwhen اَعْجَبَتْكُمْpleased you كَثْرَتُكُمْyour multitude فَلَمْbut not تُغْنِavailed عَنْكُمْyou شَیْـًٔاanything وَّضَاقَتْand (was) straitened عَلَیْكُمُfor you الْاَرْضُthe earth بِمَا(in spite) of its vastness رَحُبَتْ(in spite) of its vastness ثُمَّthen وَلَّیْتُمْyou turned back مُّدْبِرِیْنَfleeing ۟ۚ(25) ثُمَّThen اَنْزَلَAllah sent down اللّٰهُAllah sent down سَكِیْنَتَهٗHis tranquility عَلٰیon رَسُوْلِهٖHis Messenger وَعَلَیand on الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers وَاَنْزَلَand sent down جُنُوْدًاforces لَّمْwhich you did not see تَرَوْهَاwhich you did not see وَعَذَّبَand He punished الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْا ؕdisbelieved وَذٰلِكَAnd that جَزَآءُ(is) the recompense الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(of) the disbelievers ۟(26) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 190- Juz 10 ثُمَّThen یَتُوْبُAllah accepts repentance اللّٰهُAllah accepts repentance مِنْafter بَعْدِafter ذٰلِكَthat عَلٰیfor مَنْwhom یَّشَآءُ ؕHe wills وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(27) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُوْۤاO you who believe اِنَّمَاIndeed الْمُشْرِكُوْنَthe polytheists نَجَسٌ(are) unclean فَلَاso let them not come near یَقْرَبُواso let them not come near الْمَسْجِدَAl-Masjid Al-Haraam الْحَرَامَAl-Masjid Al-Haraam بَعْدَafter عَامِهِمْthis, their (final) year هٰذَا ۚthis, their (final) year وَاِنْAnd if خِفْتُمْyou fear عَیْلَةًpoverty فَسَوْفَthen soon یُغْنِیْكُمُAllah will enrich you اللّٰهُAllah will enrich you مِنْfrom فَضْلِهٖۤHis Bounty اِنْif شَآءَ ؕHe wills اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(28) قَاتِلُواFight الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَلَاand not بِالْیَوْمِin the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last وَلَاand not یُحَرِّمُوْنَthey make unlawful مَاwhat حَرَّمَAllah has made unlawful اللّٰهُAllah has made unlawful وَرَسُوْلُهٗand His Messenger وَلَاand not یَدِیْنُوْنَthey acknowledge دِیْنَ(the) religion الْحَقِّ(of) the truth مِنَfrom الَّذِیْنَthose who اُوْتُواwere given الْكِتٰبَthe Scripture حَتّٰیuntil یُعْطُواthey pay الْجِزْیَةَthe jizyah عَنْwillingly یَّدٍwillingly وَّهُمْwhile they صٰغِرُوْنَ(are) subdued ۟۠(29) وَقَالَتِAnd said الْیَهُوْدُthe Jews عُزَیْرُUzair بْنُ(is) son اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَقَالَتِAnd said النَّصٰرَیthe Christians الْمَسِیْحُMessiah ابْنُ(is) son اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah ذٰلِكَThat قَوْلُهُمْ(is) their saying بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ ۚwith their mouths یُضَاهِـُٔوْنَthey imitate قَوْلَthe saying الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore قَاتَلَهُمُ(May) Allah destroy them اللّٰهُ ؗۚ(May) Allah destroy them اَنّٰیHow یُؤْفَكُوْنَdeluded are they ۟(30) اِتَّخَذُوْۤاThey have taken اَحْبَارَهُمْtheir rabbis وَرُهْبَانَهُمْand their monks اَرْبَابًا(as) Lords مِّنْbesides دُوْنِbesides اللّٰهِAllah وَالْمَسِیْحَand the Messiah ابْنَson مَرْیَمَ ۚ(of) Maryam وَمَاۤAnd not اُمِرُوْۤاthey were commanded اِلَّاexcept لِیَعْبُدُوْۤاthat they worship اِلٰهًاOne God وَّاحِدًا ۚOne God لَاۤ(There) is no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ؕHim سُبْحٰنَهٗGlory be to Him عَمَّاfrom what یُشْرِكُوْنَthey associate (with Him) ۟(31) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 191- Juz 10 یُرِیْدُوْنَThey want اَنْto یُّطْفِـُٔوْاextinguish نُوْرَAllah's light اللّٰهِAllah's light بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْwith their mouths وَیَاْبَیbut Allah refuses اللّٰهُbut Allah refuses اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْto یُّتِمَّperfect نُوْرَهٗHis Light وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَthe disbelievers dislike (it) الْكٰفِرُوْنَthe disbelievers dislike (it) ۟(32) هُوَHe الَّذِیْۤ(is) the One Who اَرْسَلَhas sent رَسُوْلَهٗHis Messenger بِالْهُدٰیwith the guidance وَدِیْنِand the religion الْحَقِّ(of) [the] truth لِیُظْهِرَهٗto manifest it عَلَیover الدِّیْنِall religions كُلِّهٖ ۙall religions وَلَوْEven if كَرِهَdislike (it) الْمُشْرِكُوْنَthe polytheists ۟(33) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُوْۤاO you who believe اِنَّIndeed كَثِیْرًاmany مِّنَof الْاَحْبَارِthe rabbis وَالرُّهْبَانِand the monks لَیَاْكُلُوْنَsurely eat اَمْوَالَ(the) wealth النَّاسِ(of) the people بِالْبَاطِلِin falsehood وَیَصُدُّوْنَand hinder عَنْfrom سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یَكْنِزُوْنَhoard الذَّهَبَthe gold وَالْفِضَّةَand the silver وَلَاand (do) not یُنْفِقُوْنَهَاspend it فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ۙ(of) Allah فَبَشِّرْهُمْ[so] give them tidings بِعَذَابٍof a punishment اَلِیْمٍpainful ۟ۙ(34) یَّوْمَ(The) Day یُحْمٰیit will be heated [on it] عَلَیْهَاit will be heated [on it] فِیْin نَارِthe Fire جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell فَتُكْوٰیand will be branded بِهَاwith it جِبَاهُهُمْtheir foreheads وَجُنُوْبُهُمْand their flanks وَظُهُوْرُهُمْ ؕand their backs هٰذَاThis مَا(is) what كَنَزْتُمْyou hoarded لِاَنْفُسِكُمْfor yourselves فَذُوْقُوْاso taste مَاwhat كُنْتُمْyou used to تَكْنِزُوْنَhoard ۟(35) اِنَّIndeed عِدَّةَ(the) number الشُّهُوْرِ(of) the months عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِAllah اثْنَا(is) twelve عَشَرَ(is) twelve شَهْرًاmonths فِیْin كِتٰبِ(the) ordinance اللّٰهِ(of) Allah یَوْمَ(from the) Day خَلَقَHe created السَّمٰوٰتِthe heavens وَالْاَرْضَand the earth مِنْهَاۤof them اَرْبَعَةٌfour حُرُمٌ ؕ(are) sacred ذٰلِكَThat الدِّیْنُ(is) the religion الْقَیِّمُ ۙ۬the upright فَلَاso (do) not تَظْلِمُوْاwrong فِیْهِنَّtherein اَنْفُسَكُمْyourselves وَقَاتِلُواAnd fight الْمُشْرِكِیْنَthe polytheists كَآفَّةًall together كَمَاas یُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْthey fight you كَآفَّةً ؕall together وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الْمُتَّقِیْنَthe righteous ۟(36) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 192- Juz 10 اِنَّمَاIndeed النَّسِیْٓءُthe postponing زِیَادَةٌ(is) an increase فِیin الْكُفْرِthe disbelief یُضَلُّare led astray بِهِby it الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve یُحِلُّوْنَهٗThey make it lawful عَامًاone year وَّیُحَرِّمُوْنَهٗand make it unlawful عَامًا(another) year لِّیُوَاطِـُٔوْاto adjust عِدَّةَthe number مَاwhich حَرَّمَAllah has made unlawful اللّٰهُAllah has made unlawful فَیُحِلُّوْاand making lawful مَاwhat حَرَّمَAllah has made unlawful اللّٰهُ ؕAllah has made unlawful زُیِّنَIs made fair-seeming لَهُمْto them سُوْٓءُ(the) evil اَعْمَالِهِمْ ؕ(of) their deeds وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟۠(37) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُوْاO you who believe مَاWhat لَكُمْ(is the matter) with you اِذَاwhen قِیْلَit is said لَكُمُto you انْفِرُوْاgo forth فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah اثَّاقَلْتُمْyou cling heavily اِلَیto الْاَرْضِ ؕthe earth اَرَضِیْتُمْAre you pleased بِالْحَیٰوةِwith the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world مِنَ(rather) than الْاٰخِرَةِ ۚthe Hereafter فَمَاBut what مَتَاعُ(is the) enjoyment الْحَیٰوةِ(of) the life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world فِیin (comparison to) الْاٰخِرَةِthe hereafter اِلَّاexcept قَلِیْلٌa little ۟(38) اِلَّاIf not تَنْفِرُوْاyou go forth یُعَذِّبْكُمْHe will punish you عَذَابًا(with) a painful punishment اَلِیْمًا ۙ۬(with) a painful punishment وَّیَسْتَبْدِلْand will replace you قَوْمًا(with) a people غَیْرَكُمْother than you وَلَاand not تَضُرُّوْهُyou can harm Him شَیْـًٔا ؕ(in) anything وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلٰی(is) on كُلِّevery شَیْءٍthing قَدِیْرٌAll-Powerful ۟(39) اِلَّاIf not تَنْصُرُوْهُyou help him فَقَدْcertainly نَصَرَهُAllah helped him اللّٰهُAllah helped him اِذْwhen اَخْرَجَهُdrove him out الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved ثَانِیَthe second اثْنَیْنِ(of) the two اِذْwhen هُمَاthey both فِی(were) in الْغَارِthe cave اِذْwhen یَقُوْلُhe said لِصَاحِبِهٖto his companion لَا(Do) not تَحْزَنْgrieve اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah مَعَنَا ۚ(is) with us فَاَنْزَلَThen Allah sent down اللّٰهُThen Allah sent down سَكِیْنَتَهٗHis tranquility عَلَیْهِupon him وَاَیَّدَهٗand supported him بِجُنُوْدٍwith forces لَّمْwhich you did not see تَرَوْهَاwhich you did not see وَجَعَلَand made كَلِمَةَ(the) word الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who كَفَرُواdisbelieved السُّفْلٰی ؕthe lowest وَكَلِمَةُwhile (the) Word اللّٰهِ(of) Allah هِیَit (is) الْعُلْیَا ؕthe highest وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(40) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 193- Juz 10 اِنْفِرُوْاGo forth خِفَافًاlight وَّثِقَالًاor heavy وَّجَاهِدُوْاand strive بِاَمْوَالِكُمْwith your wealth وَاَنْفُسِكُمْand your lives فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah ذٰلِكُمْThat خَیْرٌ(is) better لَّكُمْfor you اِنْif كُنْتُمْyou تَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(41) لَوْIf كَانَit had been عَرَضًاa gain قَرِیْبًاnear وَّسَفَرًاand a journey قَاصِدًاeasy لَّاتَّبَعُوْكَsurely they (would) have followed you وَلٰكِنْbut بَعُدَتْwas long عَلَیْهِمُfor them الشُّقَّةُ ؕthe distance وَسَیَحْلِفُوْنَAnd they will swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah لَوِIf اسْتَطَعْنَاwe were able لَخَرَجْنَاcertainly we (would) have come forth مَعَكُمْ ۚwith you یُهْلِكُوْنَThey destroy اَنْفُسَهُمْ ۚtheir own selves وَاللّٰهُand Allah یَعْلَمُknows اِنَّهُمْ(that) indeed, they لَكٰذِبُوْنَ(are) surely liars ۟۠(42) عَفَا(May) Allah forgive اللّٰهُ(May) Allah forgive عَنْكَ ۚyou لِمَWhy (did) اَذِنْتَyou grant leave لَهُمْto them حَتّٰیuntil یَتَبَیَّنَ(became) evident لَكَto you الَّذِیْنَthose who صَدَقُوْاwere truthful وَتَعْلَمَand you knew الْكٰذِبِیْنَthe liars ۟(43) لَا(Would) not ask your permission یَسْتَاْذِنُكَ(Would) not ask your permission الَّذِیْنَthose who یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last اَنْthat یُّجَاهِدُوْاthey strive بِاَمْوَالِهِمْwith their wealth وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ ؕand their lives وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِالْمُتَّقِیْنَof the righteous ۟(44) اِنَّمَاOnly یَسْتَاْذِنُكَask your leave الَّذِیْنَthose who لَا(do) not یُؤْمِنُوْنَbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last وَارْتَابَتْand (are in) doubts قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts فَهُمْso they فِیْin رَیْبِهِمْtheir doubts یَتَرَدَّدُوْنَthey waver ۟(45) وَلَوْAnd if اَرَادُواthey had wished الْخُرُوْجَ(to) go forth لَاَعَدُّوْاsurely they (would) have prepared لَهٗfor it عُدَّةً(some) preparation وَّلٰكِنْBut كَرِهَAllah disliked اللّٰهُAllah disliked انْۢبِعَاثَهُمْtheir being sent فَثَبَّطَهُمْso He made them lag behind وَقِیْلَand it was said اقْعُدُوْاSit مَعَwith الْقٰعِدِیْنَthose who sit ۟(46) لَوْIf خَرَجُوْاthey (had) gone forth فِیْكُمْwith you مَّاnot زَادُوْكُمْthey (would) have increased you اِلَّاexcept خَبَالًا(in) confusion وَّلَاۡاَوْضَعُوْاand would have been active خِلٰلَكُمْin your midst یَبْغُوْنَكُمُseeking (for) you الْفِتْنَةَ ۚdissension وَفِیْكُمْAnd among you (are some) سَمّٰعُوْنَwho would have listened لَهُمْ ؕto them وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knower بِالظّٰلِمِیْنَof the wrongdoers ۟(47) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 194- Juz 10 لَقَدِVerily ابْتَغَوُاthey had sought الْفِتْنَةَdissension مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَقَلَّبُوْاand had upset لَكَfor you الْاُمُوْرَthe matters حَتّٰیuntil جَآءَcame الْحَقُّthe truth وَظَهَرَand became manifest اَمْرُ(the) Order of Allah اللّٰهِ(the) Order of Allah وَهُمْwhile they كٰرِهُوْنَdisliked (it) ۟(48) وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them مَّنْ(is he) who یَّقُوْلُsays ائْذَنْGrant me leave لِّیْGrant me leave وَلَاand (do) not تَفْتِنِّیْ ؕput me to trial اَلَاSurely فِیin الْفِتْنَةِthe trial سَقَطُوْا ؕthey have fallen وَاِنَّAnd indeed جَهَنَّمَHell لَمُحِیْطَةٌ(will) surely surround بِالْكٰفِرِیْنَthe disbelievers ۟(49) اِنْIf تُصِبْكَbefalls you حَسَنَةٌgood تَسُؤْهُمْ ۚit distresses them وَاِنْbut if تُصِبْكَbefalls you مُصِیْبَةٌa calamity یَّقُوْلُوْاthey say قَدْVerily اَخَذْنَاۤwe took اَمْرَنَاour matter مِنْbefore قَبْلُbefore وَیَتَوَلَّوْاAnd they turn away وَّهُمْwhile they فَرِحُوْنَ(are) rejoicing ۟(50) قُلْSay لَّنْNever یُّصِیْبَنَاۤwill befall us اِلَّاexcept مَاwhat كَتَبَAllah has decreed اللّٰهُAllah has decreed لَنَا ۚfor us هُوَHe مَوْلٰىنَا ۚ(is) our Protector وَعَلَیAnd on اللّٰهِAllah فَلْیَتَوَكَّلِ[so] let the believers put (their) trust الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ[so] let the believers put (their) trust ۟(51) قُلْSay هَلْDo تَرَبَّصُوْنَyou await بِنَاۤfor us اِلَّاۤexcept اِحْدَیone الْحُسْنَیَیْنِ ؕ(of) the two best (things) وَنَحْنُwhile we نَتَرَبَّصُ[we] await بِكُمْfor you اَنْthat یُّصِیْبَكُمُAllah will afflict you اللّٰهُAllah will afflict you بِعَذَابٍwith a punishment مِّنْfrom عِنْدِهٖۤ[near] Him اَوْor بِاَیْدِیْنَا ۖؗby our hands فَتَرَبَّصُوْۤاSo wait اِنَّاindeed, we مَعَكُمْwith you مُّتَرَبِّصُوْنَ(are) waiting ۟(52) قُلْSay اَنْفِقُوْاSpend طَوْعًاwillingly اَوْor كَرْهًاunwillingly لَّنْnever یُّتَقَبَّلَwill be accepted مِنْكُمْ ؕfrom you اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you كُنْتُمْ[you] are قَوْمًاa people فٰسِقِیْنَdefiantly disobedient ۟(53) وَمَاAnd not مَنَعَهُمْprevents them اَنْthat تُقْبَلَis accepted مِنْهُمْfrom them نَفَقٰتُهُمْtheir contributions اِلَّاۤexcept اَنَّهُمْthat they كَفَرُوْاdisbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَبِرَسُوْلِهٖand in His Messenger وَلَاand not یَاْتُوْنَthey come الصَّلٰوةَ(to) the prayer اِلَّاexcept وَهُمْwhile they كُسَالٰی(are) lazy وَلَاand not یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend اِلَّاexcept وَهُمْwhile they كٰرِهُوْنَ(are) unwilling ۟(54) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 195- Juz 10 فَلَاSo (let) not تُعْجِبْكَimpress you اَمْوَالُهُمْtheir wealth وَلَاۤand not اَوْلَادُهُمْ ؕtheir children اِنَّمَاOnly یُرِیْدُAllah intends اللّٰهُAllah intends لِیُعَذِّبَهُمْto punish them بِهَاwith it فِیin الْحَیٰوةِthe life الدُّنْیَا(of) the world وَتَزْهَقَand should depart اَنْفُسُهُمْtheir souls وَهُمْwhile they كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(55) وَیَحْلِفُوْنَAnd they swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah اِنَّهُمْindeed, they لَمِنْكُمْ ؕsurely (are) of you وَمَاwhile not هُمْthey مِّنْكُمْ(are) of you وَلٰكِنَّهُمْbut they قَوْمٌ(are) a people یَّفْرَقُوْنَ(who) are afraid ۟(56) لَوْIf یَجِدُوْنَthey could find مَلْجَاًa refuge اَوْor مَغٰرٰتٍcaves اَوْor مُدَّخَلًاa place to enter لَّوَلَّوْاsurely, they would turn اِلَیْهِto it وَهُمْand they یَجْمَحُوْنَrun wild ۟(57) وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them مَّنْ(is he) who یَّلْمِزُكَcriticizes you فِیconcerning الصَّدَقٰتِ ۚthe charities فَاِنْThen if اُعْطُوْاthey are given مِنْهَاfrom it رَضُوْاthey are pleased وَاِنْbut if لَّمْnot یُعْطَوْاthey are given مِنْهَاۤfrom it اِذَاthen هُمْthey یَسْخَطُوْنَ(are) enraged ۟(58) وَلَوْAnd if اَنَّهُمْ[that] they رَضُوْا(were) satisfied مَاۤ(with) what اٰتٰىهُمُAllah gave them اللّٰهُAllah gave them وَرَسُوْلُهٗ ۙand His Messenger وَقَالُوْاand said حَسْبُنَاSufficient for us اللّٰهُ(is) Allah سَیُؤْتِیْنَاAllah will give us اللّٰهُAllah will give us مِنْof فَضْلِهٖHis Bounty وَرَسُوْلُهٗۤ ۙand His Messenger اِنَّاۤIndeed, we اِلَیto اللّٰهِAllah رٰغِبُوْنَturn our hopes ۟۠(59) اِنَّمَاOnly الصَّدَقٰتُthe charities لِلْفُقَرَآءِ(are) for the poor وَالْمَسٰكِیْنِand the needy وَالْعٰمِلِیْنَand those who collect عَلَیْهَاthem وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِand the ones inclined قُلُوْبُهُمْtheir hearts وَفِیand in الرِّقَابِthe (freeing of) the necks وَالْغٰرِمِیْنَand for those in debt وَفِیْand in سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَابْنِand the wayfarer السَّبِیْلِ ؕand the wayfarer فَرِیْضَةًan obligation مِّنَfrom اللّٰهِ ؕAllah وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knowing حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(60) وَمِنْهُمُAnd among them الَّذِیْنَ(are) those who یُؤْذُوْنَhurt النَّبِیَّthe Prophet وَیَقُوْلُوْنَand they say هُوَHe is اُذُنٌ ؕ(all) ear قُلْSay اُذُنُAn ear خَیْرٍ(of) goodness لَّكُمْfor you یُؤْمِنُhe believes بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَیُؤْمِنُand believes لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers وَرَحْمَةٌand (is) a mercy لِّلَّذِیْنَto those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve مِنْكُمْ ؕamong you وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who یُؤْذُوْنَhurt رَسُوْلَ(the) Messenger اللّٰهِ(of) Allah لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(61) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 196- Juz 10 یَحْلِفُوْنَThey swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah لَكُمْto you لِیُرْضُوْكُمْ ۚto please you وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah وَرَسُوْلُهٗۤand His Messenger اَحَقُّ(have) more right اَنْthat یُّرْضُوْهُthey should please Him اِنْif كَانُوْاthey are مُؤْمِنِیْنَbelievers ۟(62) اَلَمْDo not یَعْلَمُوْۤاthey know اَنَّهٗthat he مَنْwho یُّحَادِدِopposes اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗand His Messenger فَاَنَّ[then] that لَهٗfor him نَارَ(is the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خَالِدًا(will) abide forever فِیْهَا ؕin it ذٰلِكَThat الْخِزْیُ(is) the disgrace الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟(63) یَحْذَرُFear الْمُنٰفِقُوْنَthe hypocrites اَنْlest تُنَزَّلَbe revealed عَلَیْهِمْabout them سُوْرَةٌa Surah تُنَبِّئُهُمْinforming them بِمَاof what فِیْ(is) in قُلُوْبِهِمْ ؕtheir hearts قُلِSay اسْتَهْزِءُوْا ۚMock اِنَّindeed اللّٰهَAllah مُخْرِجٌ(will) bring forth مَّاwhat تَحْذَرُوْنَyou fear ۟(64) وَلَىِٕنْAnd if سَاَلْتَهُمْyou ask them لَیَقُوْلُنَّsurely they will say اِنَّمَاOnly كُنَّاwe were نَخُوْضُconversing وَنَلْعَبُ ؕand playing قُلْSay اَبِاللّٰهِIs it Allah وَاٰیٰتِهٖand His Verses وَرَسُوْلِهٖand His Messenger كُنْتُمْ(that) you were تَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَmocking ۟(65) لَا(Do) not تَعْتَذِرُوْاmake excuse قَدْverily كَفَرْتُمْyou have disbelieved بَعْدَafter اِیْمَانِكُمْ ؕyour belief اِنْIf نَّعْفُWe pardon عَنْ[on] طَآىِٕفَةٍa party مِّنْكُمْof you نُعَذِّبْWe will punish طَآىِٕفَةًۢa party بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they كَانُوْاwere مُجْرِمِیْنَcriminals ۟۠(66) اَلْمُنٰفِقُوْنَThe hypocrite men وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتُand the hypocrite women بَعْضُهُمْsome of them مِّنْ(are) of بَعْضٍ ۘothers یَاْمُرُوْنَThey enjoin بِالْمُنْكَرِthe wrong وَیَنْهَوْنَand forbid عَنِwhat الْمَعْرُوْفِ(is) the right وَیَقْبِضُوْنَand they close اَیْدِیَهُمْ ؕtheir hands نَسُواThey forget اللّٰهَAllah فَنَسِیَهُمْ ؕso He has forgotten them اِنَّIndeed الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَthe hypocrites هُمُthey (are) الْفٰسِقُوْنَthe defiantly disobedient ۟(67) وَعَدَAllah has promised اللّٰهُAllah has promised الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَthe hypocrite men وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِand the hypocrite women وَالْكُفَّارَand the disbelievers نَارَFire جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell خٰلِدِیْنَthey (will) abide forever فِیْهَا ؕin it هِیَIt (is) حَسْبُهُمْ ۚsufficient for them وَلَعَنَهُمُAnd Allah has cursed them اللّٰهُ ۚAnd Allah has cursed them وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مُّقِیْمٌenduring ۟ۙ(68) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 197- Juz 10 كَالَّذِیْنَLike those مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكُمْbefore you كَانُوْۤاthey were اَشَدَّmightier مِنْكُمْthan you قُوَّةً(in) strength وَّاَكْثَرَand more abundant اَمْوَالًا(in) wealth وَّاَوْلَادًا ؕand children فَاسْتَمْتَعُوْاSo they enjoyed بِخَلَاقِهِمْtheir portion فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْand you have enjoyed بِخَلَاقِكُمْyour portion كَمَاlike اسْتَمْتَعَenjoyed الَّذِیْنَthose مِنْbefore you قَبْلِكُمْbefore you بِخَلَاقِهِمْtheir portion وَخُضْتُمْand you indulge كَالَّذِیْlike the one who خَاضُوْا ؕindulges (in idle talk) اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose حَبِطَتْworthless اَعْمَالُهُمْ(are) their deeds فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚand (in) the Hereafter وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those هُمُthey الْخٰسِرُوْنَ(are) the losers ۟(69) اَلَمْHas not یَاْتِهِمْcome to them نَبَاُ(the) news الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who مِنْ(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them قَوْمِ(the) people نُوْحٍ(of) Nuh وَّعَادٍand Aad وَّثَمُوْدَ ۙ۬and Thamud وَقَوْمِand (the) people اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(of) Ibrahim وَاَصْحٰبِand (the) companions مَدْیَنَ(of) Madyan وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِ ؕand the towns overturned اَتَتْهُمْCame to them رُسُلُهُمْtheir Messengers بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ۚwith clear proofs فَمَاAnd not كَانَwas اللّٰهُAllah لِیَظْلِمَهُمْto wrong them وَلٰكِنْbut كَانُوْۤاthey were (to) اَنْفُسَهُمْthemselves یَظْلِمُوْنَdoing wrong ۟(70) وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَAnd the believing men وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتُand the believing women بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اَوْلِیَآءُ(are) allies بَعْضٍ ۘ(of) others یَاْمُرُوْنَThey enjoin بِالْمَعْرُوْفِthe right وَیَنْهَوْنَand forbid عَنِfrom الْمُنْكَرِthe wrong وَیُقِیْمُوْنَand they establish الصَّلٰوةَthe prayer وَیُؤْتُوْنَand give الزَّكٰوةَthe zakah وَیُطِیْعُوْنَand they obey اللّٰهَAllah وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ؕand His Messenger اُولٰٓىِٕكَThose سَیَرْحَمُهُمُAllah will have mercy on them اللّٰهُ ؕAllah will have mercy on them اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah عَزِیْزٌ(is) All-Mighty حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(71) وَعَدَ(Has been) promised اللّٰهُ(by) Allah الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(to) the believing men وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِand the believing women جَنّٰتٍGardens تَجْرِیْflow مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers خٰلِدِیْنَ(will) abide forever فِیْهَاin it وَمَسٰكِنَand dwellings طَیِّبَةًblessed فِیْin جَنّٰتِGardens عَدْنٍ ؕ(of) everlasting bliss وَرِضْوَانٌBut the pleasure مِّنَof اللّٰهِAllah اَكْبَرُ ؕ(is) greater ذٰلِكَThat هُوَit الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْعَظِیْمُgreat ۟۠(72) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 198- Juz 10 یٰۤاَیُّهَاO Prophet النَّبِیُّO Prophet جَاهِدِStrive (against) الْكُفَّارَthe disbelievers وَالْمُنٰفِقِیْنَand the hypocrites وَاغْلُظْand be stern عَلَیْهِمْ ؕwith them وَمَاْوٰىهُمْAnd their abode جَهَنَّمُ ؕ(is) Hell وَبِئْسَand wretched الْمَصِیْرُ(is) the destination ۟(73) یَحْلِفُوْنَThey swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah مَا(that) they said nothing قَالُوْا ؕ(that) they said nothing وَلَقَدْwhile certainly قَالُوْاthey said كَلِمَةَ(the) word الْكُفْرِ(of) the disbelief وَكَفَرُوْاand disbelieved بَعْدَafter اِسْلَامِهِمْtheir (pretense of) Islam وَهَمُّوْاand planned بِمَا[of] what لَمْnot یَنَالُوْا ۚthey could attain وَمَاAnd not نَقَمُوْۤاthey were resentful اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat اَغْنٰىهُمُAllah had enriched them اللّٰهُAllah had enriched them وَرَسُوْلُهٗand His Messenger مِنْof فَضْلِهٖ ۚHis Bounty فَاِنْSo if یَّتُوْبُوْاthey repent یَكُit is خَیْرًاbetter لَّهُمْ ۚfor them وَاِنْand if یَّتَوَلَّوْاthey turn away یُعَذِّبْهُمُAllah will punish them اللّٰهُAllah will punish them عَذَابًا(with) a punishment اَلِیْمًا ۙpainful فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚand (in) the Hereafter وَمَاAnd not لَهُمْfor them فِیin الْاَرْضِthe earth مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍa helper ۟(74) وَمِنْهُمْAnd among them مَّنْ(is he) who عٰهَدَmade a covenant اللّٰهَ(with) Allah لَىِٕنْIf اٰتٰىنَاHe gives us مِنْof فَضْلِهٖHis bounty لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّsurely we will give charity وَلَنَكُوْنَنَّand surely we will be مِنَamong الصّٰلِحِیْنَthe righteous ۟(75) فَلَمَّاۤBut when اٰتٰىهُمْHe gave them مِّنْof فَضْلِهٖHis Bounty بَخِلُوْاthey became stingy بِهٖwith it وَتَوَلَّوْاand turned away وَّهُمْwhile they مُّعْرِضُوْنَ(were) averse ۟(76) فَاَعْقَبَهُمْSo He penalized them نِفَاقًا(with) hypocrisy فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts اِلٰیuntil یَوْمِthe day یَلْقَوْنَهٗwhen they will meet Him بِمَاۤbecause اَخْلَفُواthey broke اللّٰهَ(the covenant with) Allah مَاwhat وَعَدُوْهُthey had promised Him وَبِمَاand because كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْذِبُوْنَlie ۟(77) اَلَمْDo not یَعْلَمُوْۤاthey know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah یَعْلَمُknows سِرَّهُمْtheir secret وَنَجْوٰىهُمْand their secret conversation وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah عَلَّامُ(is) All-Knower الْغُیُوْبِ(of) the unseen ۟ۚ(78) اَلَّذِیْنَThose who یَلْمِزُوْنَcriticize الْمُطَّوِّعِیْنَthe ones who give willingly مِنَof الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers فِیconcerning الصَّدَقٰتِthe charities وَالَّذِیْنَand those who لَاnot یَجِدُوْنَfind اِلَّاexcept جُهْدَهُمْtheir effort فَیَسْخَرُوْنَso they ridicule مِنْهُمْ ؕthem سَخِرَAllah will ridicule اللّٰهُAllah will ridicule مِنْهُمْ ؗthem وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(79) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 199- Juz 10 اِسْتَغْفِرْAsk forgiveness لَهُمْfor them اَوْor لَا(do) not تَسْتَغْفِرْask forgiveness لَهُمْ ؕfor them اِنْIf تَسْتَغْفِرْyou ask forgiveness لَهُمْfor them سَبْعِیْنَseventy مَرَّةًtimes فَلَنْnever یَّغْفِرَwill Allah forgive اللّٰهُwill Allah forgive لَهُمْ ؕ[for] them ذٰلِكَThat بِاَنَّهُمْ(is) because they كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَرَسُوْلِهٖ ؕand His Messenger وَاللّٰهُand Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe people الْفٰسِقِیْنَthe defiantly disobedient ۟۠(80) فَرِحَRejoice الْمُخَلَّفُوْنَthose who remained behind بِمَقْعَدِهِمْin their staying خِلٰفَbehind رَسُوْلِ(the) Messenger اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَكَرِهُوْۤاand they disliked اَنْto یُّجَاهِدُوْاstrive بِاَمْوَالِهِمْwith their wealth وَاَنْفُسِهِمْand their lives فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَقَالُوْاand they said لَا(Do) not تَنْفِرُوْاgo forth فِیin الْحَرِّ ؕthe heat قُلْSay نَارُ(The) Fire جَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell اَشَدُّ(is) more intense حَرًّا ؕ(in) heat لَوْIf (only) كَانُوْاthey could یَفْقَهُوْنَunderstand ۟(81) فَلْیَضْحَكُوْاSo let them laugh قَلِیْلًاa little وَّلْیَبْكُوْاand let them weep كَثِیْرًا ۚmuch جَزَآءً(as) a recompense بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used to یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(82) فَاِنْThen if رَّجَعَكَAllah returns you اللّٰهُAllah returns you اِلٰیto طَآىِٕفَةٍa group مِّنْهُمْof them فَاسْتَاْذَنُوْكَand they ask you permission لِلْخُرُوْجِto go out فَقُلْthen say لَّنْNever تَخْرُجُوْاwill you come out مَعِیَwith me اَبَدًاever وَّلَنْand never تُقَاتِلُوْاwill you fight مَعِیَwith me عَدُوًّا ؕany enemy اِنَّكُمْIndeed, you رَضِیْتُمْwere satisfied بِالْقُعُوْدِwith sitting اَوَّلَ(the) first مَرَّةٍtime فَاقْعُدُوْاso sit مَعَwith الْخٰلِفِیْنَthose who stay behind ۟(83) وَلَاAnd not تُصَلِّyou pray عَلٰۤیfor اَحَدٍany مِّنْهُمْof them مَّاتَwho dies اَبَدًاever وَّلَاand not تَقُمْyou stand عَلٰیby قَبْرِهٖ ؕhis grave اِنَّهُمْIndeed, they كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَرَسُوْلِهٖand His Messenger وَمَاتُوْاand died وَهُمْwhile they were فٰسِقُوْنَdefiantly disobedient ۟(84) وَلَاAnd (let) not تُعْجِبْكَimpress you اَمْوَالُهُمْtheir wealth وَاَوْلَادُهُمْ ؕand their children اِنَّمَاOnly یُرِیْدُAllah intends اللّٰهُAllah intends اَنْto یُّعَذِّبَهُمْpunish them بِهَاwith it فِیin الدُّنْیَاthe world وَتَزْهَقَand will depart اَنْفُسُهُمْtheir souls وَهُمْwhile they كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(85) وَاِذَاۤAnd when اُنْزِلَتْwas revealed سُوْرَةٌa Surah اَنْthat اٰمِنُوْاbelieve بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَجَاهِدُوْاand strive مَعَwith رَسُوْلِهِHis Messenger اسْتَاْذَنَكَask your permission اُولُوا(the) men الطَّوْلِ(of) wealth مِنْهُمْamong them وَقَالُوْاand said ذَرْنَاLeave us نَكُنْ(to) be مَّعَwith الْقٰعِدِیْنَthose who sit ۟(86) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 200- Juz 10 رَضُوْاThey (were) satisfied بِاَنْto یَّكُوْنُوْاbe مَعَwith الْخَوَالِفِthose who stay behind وَطُبِعَand were sealed عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts فَهُمْso they لَا(do) not یَفْقَهُوْنَunderstand ۟(87) لٰكِنِBut الرَّسُوْلُthe Messenger وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْاbelieved مَعَهٗwith him جٰهَدُوْاstrove بِاَمْوَالِهِمْwith their wealth وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ ؕand their lives وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَAnd those لَهُمُfor them الْخَیْرٰتُ ؗ(are) the good things وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَand those هُمُthey الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ(are) the successful ones ۟(88) اَعَدَّAllah has prepared اللّٰهُAllah has prepared لَهُمْfor them جَنّٰتٍGardens تَجْرِیْflows مِنْfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers خٰلِدِیْنَ(will) abide forever فِیْهَا ؕin it ذٰلِكَThat الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟۠(89) وَجَآءَAnd came الْمُعَذِّرُوْنَthe ones who make excuses مِنَof الْاَعْرَابِthe bedouins لِیُؤْذَنَthat permission be granted لَهُمْto them وَقَعَدَand sat الَّذِیْنَthose who كَذَبُواlied اللّٰهَ(to) Allah وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ؕand His Messenger سَیُصِیْبُWill strike الَّذِیْنَthose who كَفَرُوْاdisbelieved مِنْهُمْamong them عَذَابٌa punishment اَلِیْمٌpainful ۟(90) لَیْسَNot عَلَیon الضُّعَفَآءِthe weak وَلَاand not عَلَیon الْمَرْضٰیthe sick وَلَاand not عَلَیon الَّذِیْنَthose who لَاnot یَجِدُوْنَthey find مَاwhat یُنْفِقُوْنَthey (can) spend حَرَجٌany blame اِذَاif نَصَحُوْاthey (are) sincere لِلّٰهِto Allah وَرَسُوْلِهٖ ؕand His Messenger مَاNot عَلَی(is) on الْمُحْسِنِیْنَthe good-doers مِنْany سَبِیْلٍ ؕway (for blame) وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟ۙ(91) وَّلَاAnd not عَلَیon الَّذِیْنَthose who اِذَاwhen مَاۤwhen اَتَوْكَthey came to you لِتَحْمِلَهُمْthat you provide them with mounts قُلْتَyou said لَاۤNot اَجِدُI find مَاۤwhat اَحْمِلُكُمْto mount you عَلَیْهِ ۪on [it] تَوَلَّوْاThey turned back وَّاَعْیُنُهُمْwith their eyes تَفِیْضُflowing مِنَ[of] الدَّمْعِ(with) the tears حَزَنًا(of) sorrow اَلَّاthat not یَجِدُوْاthey find مَاwhat یُنْفِقُوْنَthey (could) spend ۟ؕ(92) اِنَّمَاOnly السَّبِیْلُthe way (blame) عَلَی(is) on الَّذِیْنَthose who یَسْتَاْذِنُوْنَكَask your permission وَهُمْwhile they اَغْنِیَآءُ ۚ(are) rich رَضُوْاThey (are) satisfied بِاَنْto یَّكُوْنُوْاbe مَعَwith الْخَوَالِفِ ۙthose who stay behind وَطَبَعَand Allah sealed اللّٰهُand Allah sealed عَلٰی[on] قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts فَهُمْso they لَا(do) not یَعْلَمُوْنَknow ۟(93) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 201- Juz 10 یَعْتَذِرُوْنَThey will make excuses اِلَیْكُمْto you اِذَاwhen رَجَعْتُمْyou (have) returned اِلَیْهِمْ ؕto them قُلْSay لَّا(Do) not تَعْتَذِرُوْاmake excuse لَنْnever نُّؤْمِنَwe will believe لَكُمْyou قَدْVerily نَبَّاَنَاAllah (has) informed us اللّٰهُAllah (has) informed us مِنْof اَخْبَارِكُمْ ؕyour news وَسَیَرَیand Allah will see اللّٰهُand Allah will see عَمَلَكُمْyour deeds وَرَسُوْلُهٗand His Messenger ثُمَّThen تُرَدُّوْنَyou will be brought back اِلٰیto عٰلِمِ(the) Knower الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen وَالشَّهَادَةِand the seen فَیُنَبِّئُكُمْthen He will inform you بِمَاof what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(94) سَیَحْلِفُوْنَThey will swear بِاللّٰهِby Allah لَكُمْto you اِذَاwhen انْقَلَبْتُمْyou returned اِلَیْهِمْto them لِتُعْرِضُوْاthat you may turn away عَنْهُمْ ؕfrom them فَاَعْرِضُوْاSo turn away عَنْهُمْ ؕfrom them اِنَّهُمْindeed, they رِجْسٌ ؗ(are) impure وَّمَاْوٰىهُمْand their abode جَهَنَّمُ ۚ(is) Hell جَزَآءًa recompense بِمَاfor what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَكْسِبُوْنَearn ۟(95) یَحْلِفُوْنَThey swear لَكُمْto you لِتَرْضَوْاthat you may be pleased عَنْهُمْ ۚwith them فَاِنْBut if تَرْضَوْاyou are pleased عَنْهُمْwith them فَاِنَّthen indeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(is) not pleased یَرْضٰی(is) not pleased عَنِwith الْقَوْمِthe people الْفٰسِقِیْنَ(who are) defiantly disobedient ۟(96) اَلْاَعْرَابُThe bedouins اَشَدُّ(are) stronger كُفْرًا(in) disbelief وَّنِفَاقًاand hypocrisy وَّاَجْدَرُand more likely اَلَّاthat not یَعْلَمُوْاthey know حُدُوْدَ(the) limits مَاۤ(of) what اَنْزَلَAllah (has) revealed اللّٰهُAllah (has) revealed عَلٰیto رَسُوْلِهٖ ؕHis Messenger وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(97) وَمِنَAnd among الْاَعْرَابِthe bedouins مَنْ(is he) who یَّتَّخِذُtakes مَاwhat یُنْفِقُhe spends مَغْرَمًا(as) a loss وَّیَتَرَبَّصُand he awaits بِكُمُfor you الدَّوَآىِٕرَ ؕthe turns (of misfortune) عَلَیْهِمْUpon them دَآىِٕرَةُ(will be) the turn السَّوْءِ ؕ(of) the evil وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearer عَلِیْمٌAll-Knower ۟(98) وَمِنَBut among الْاَعْرَابِthe bedouins مَنْ(is he) who یُّؤْمِنُbelieves بِاللّٰهِin Allah وَالْیَوْمِand the Day الْاٰخِرِthe Last وَیَتَّخِذُand takes مَاwhat یُنْفِقُhe spends قُرُبٰتٍ(as) means of nearness عِنْدَwith اللّٰهِAllah وَصَلَوٰتِand blessings الرَّسُوْلِ ؕ(of) the Messenger اَلَاۤBehold اِنَّهَاIndeed, it قُرْبَةٌ(is) a means of nearness لَّهُمْ ؕfor them سَیُدْخِلُهُمُAllah will admit them اللّٰهُAllah will admit them فِیْto رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕHis Mercy اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟۠(99) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 202- Juz 11 وَالسّٰبِقُوْنَAnd the forerunners الْاَوَّلُوْنَthe first مِنَamong الْمُهٰجِرِیْنَthe emigrants وَالْاَنْصَارِand the helpers وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اتَّبَعُوْهُمْfollowed them بِاِحْسَانٍ ۙin righteousness رَّضِیَAllah is pleased اللّٰهُAllah is pleased عَنْهُمْwith them وَرَضُوْاand they are pleased عَنْهُwith Him وَاَعَدَّAnd He has prepared لَهُمْfor them جَنّٰتٍGardens تَجْرِیْflows تَحْتَهَاunderneath it الْاَنْهٰرُthe rivers خٰلِدِیْنَwill abide فِیْهَاۤin it اَبَدًا ؕforever ذٰلِكَThat الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟(100) وَمِمَّنْAnd among those حَوْلَكُمْaround you مِّنَof الْاَعْرَابِthe bedouins مُنٰفِقُوْنَ ۛؕ(are) hypocrites وَمِنْand (also) from اَهْلِpeople الْمَدِیْنَةِ ؔۛ۫(of) the Madinah مَرَدُوْاThey persist عَلَیin النِّفَاقِ ۫the hypocrisy لَاnot تَعْلَمُهُمْ ؕyou know them نَحْنُWe نَعْلَمُهُمْ ؕ[We] know them سَنُعَذِّبُهُمْWe will punish them مَّرَّتَیْنِtwice ثُمَّthen یُرَدُّوْنَthey will be returned اِلٰیto عَذَابٍa punishment عَظِیْمٍgreat ۟ۚ(101) وَاٰخَرُوْنَAnd others اعْتَرَفُوْا(who have) acknowledged بِذُنُوْبِهِمْtheir sins خَلَطُوْاThey had mixed عَمَلًاa deed صَالِحًاrighteous وَّاٰخَرَ(with) other سَیِّئًا ؕ(that was) evil عَسَیPerhaps اللّٰهُAllah اَنْ[that] یَّتُوْبَwill turn (in mercy) عَلَیْهِمْ ؕto them اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah غَفُوْرٌ(is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟(102) خُذْTake مِنْfrom اَمْوَالِهِمْtheir wealth صَدَقَةًa charity تُطَهِّرُهُمْpurifying them وَتُزَكِّیْهِمْand cause them increase بِهَاby it وَصَلِّand bless عَلَیْهِمْ ؕ[upon] them اِنَّIndeed صَلٰوتَكَyour blessings سَكَنٌ(are a) reassurance لَّهُمْ ؕfor them وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah سَمِیْعٌ(is) All-Hearer عَلِیْمٌAll-Knower ۟(103) اَلَمْDo not یَعْلَمُوْۤاthey know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah هُوَ(is) He یَقْبَلُ(Who) accepts التَّوْبَةَthe repentance عَنْfrom عِبَادِهٖHis slaves وَیَاْخُذُand takes الصَّدَقٰتِthe charities وَاَنَّand that اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe التَّوَّابُ(is) the Acceptor of repentance الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟(104) وَقُلِAnd say اعْمَلُوْاDo فَسَیَرَیthen Allah will see اللّٰهُthen Allah will see عَمَلَكُمْyour deed وَرَسُوْلُهٗand His Messenger وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ؕand the believers وَسَتُرَدُّوْنَAnd you will be brought back اِلٰیto عٰلِمِ(the) Knower الْغَیْبِ(of) the unseen وَالشَّهَادَةِand the seen فَیُنَبِّئُكُمْthen He will inform you بِمَاof what كُنْتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟ۚ(105) وَاٰخَرُوْنَAnd others مُرْجَوْنَdeferred لِاَمْرِfor the Command of Allah اللّٰهِfor the Command of Allah اِمَّاwhether یُعَذِّبُهُمْHe will punish them وَاِمَّاor یَتُوْبُHe will turn (in mercy) عَلَیْهِمْ ؕto them وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟(106) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 203- Juz 11 وَالَّذِیْنَAnd those who اتَّخَذُوْاtake مَسْجِدًاa masjid ضِرَارًا(for causing) harm وَّكُفْرًاand (for) disbelief وَّتَفْرِیْقًاand (for) division بَیْنَamong الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers وَاِرْصَادًاand (as) a station لِّمَنْfor whoever حَارَبَwarred اللّٰهَ(against) Allah وَرَسُوْلَهٗand His Messenger مِنْbefore قَبْلُ ؕbefore وَلَیَحْلِفُنَّAnd surely they will swear اِنْNot اَرَدْنَاۤwe wish اِلَّاexcept الْحُسْنٰی ؕthe good وَاللّٰهُBut Allah یَشْهَدُbears witness اِنَّهُمْindeed, they لَكٰذِبُوْنَ(are) surely liars ۟(107) لَا(Do) not تَقُمْstand فِیْهِin it اَبَدًا ؕever لَمَسْجِدٌA masjid اُسِّسَfounded عَلَیon التَّقْوٰیthe righteousness مِنْfrom اَوَّلِ(the) first یَوْمٍday اَحَقُّ(is) more worthy اَنْthat تَقُوْمَyou stand فِیْهِ ؕin it فِیْهِWithin it رِجَالٌ(are) men یُّحِبُّوْنَwho love اَنْto یَّتَطَهَّرُوْا ؕpurify themselves وَاللّٰهُand Allah یُحِبُّloves الْمُطَّهِّرِیْنَthe ones who purify themselves ۟(108) اَفَمَنْThen is (one) who اَسَّسَfounded بُنْیَانَهٗhis building عَلٰیon تَقْوٰیrighteousness مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah وَرِضْوَانٍand (His) pleasure خَیْرٌbetter اَمْor مَّنْ(one) who اَسَّسَfounded بُنْیَانَهٗhis building عَلٰیon شَفَاedge جُرُفٍ(of) a cliff هَارٍ(about to) collapse فَانْهَارَso it collapsed بِهٖwith him فِیْin نَارِ(the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ ؕ(of) Hell وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah لَا(does) not یَهْدِیguide الْقَوْمَthe wrongdoing people الظّٰلِمِیْنَthe wrongdoing people ۟(109) لَاNot یَزَالُ(will) cease بُنْیَانُهُمُtheir building الَّذِیْwhich بَنَوْاthey built رِیْبَةًa (cause of) doubt فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts اِلَّاۤexcept اَنْthat تَقَطَّعَ(are) cut into pieces قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕtheir hearts وَاللّٰهُAnd Allah عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower حَكِیْمٌAll-Wise ۟۠(110) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah اشْتَرٰی(has) purchased مِنَfrom الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَthe believers اَنْفُسَهُمْtheir lives وَاَمْوَالَهُمْand their wealth بِاَنَّbecause لَهُمُfor them الْجَنَّةَ ؕ(is) Paradise یُقَاتِلُوْنَThey fight فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah فَیَقْتُلُوْنَthey slay وَیُقْتَلُوْنَ ۫and they are slain وَعْدًاA promise عَلَیْهِupon Him حَقًّاtrue فِیin التَّوْرٰىةِthe Taurat وَالْاِنْجِیْلِand the Injeel وَالْقُرْاٰنِ ؕand the Quran وَمَنْAnd who اَوْفٰی(is) more faithful بِعَهْدِهٖto his promise مِنَthan اللّٰهِAllah فَاسْتَبْشِرُوْاSo rejoice بِبَیْعِكُمُin your transaction الَّذِیْwhich بَایَعْتُمْyou have contracted بِهٖ ؕ[with it] وَذٰلِكَAnd that هُوَit الْفَوْزُ(is) the success الْعَظِیْمُthe great ۟(111) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 204- Juz 11 اَلتَّآىِٕبُوْنَThose who turn in repentance الْعٰبِدُوْنَthose who worship الْحٰمِدُوْنَthose who praise السَّآىِٕحُوْنَthose who go out الرّٰكِعُوْنَthose who bow down السّٰجِدُوْنَthose who prostrate الْاٰمِرُوْنَthose who enjoin بِالْمَعْرُوْفِthe right وَالنَّاهُوْنَand those who forbid عَنِ[on] الْمُنْكَرِthe wrong وَالْحٰفِظُوْنَand those who observe لِحُدُوْدِ(the) limits اللّٰهِ ؕ(of) Allah وَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidings الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(to) the believers ۟(112) مَاNot كَانَ(it) is لِلنَّبِیِّfor the Prophet وَالَّذِیْنَand those who اٰمَنُوْۤاbelieve اَنْthat یَّسْتَغْفِرُوْاthey ask forgiveness لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَfor the polytheists وَلَوْeven though كَانُوْۤاthey be اُولِیْnear of kin قُرْبٰیnear of kin مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] تَبَیَّنَhas become clear لَهُمْto them اَنَّهُمْthat they اَصْحٰبُ(are the) companions الْجَحِیْمِ(of) the Hellfire ۟(113) وَمَاAnd not كَانَwas اسْتِغْفَارُ(the) asking of forgiveness اِبْرٰهِیْمَ(by) Ibrahim لِاَبِیْهِfor his father اِلَّاexcept عَنْbecause مَّوْعِدَةٍ(of) a promise وَّعَدَهَاۤhe had promised it اِیَّاهُ ۚ(to) him فَلَمَّاBut when تَبَیَّنَit became clear لَهٗۤto him اَنَّهٗthat he عَدُوٌّ(was) an enemy لِّلّٰهِto Allah تَبَرَّاَhe disassociated مِنْهُ ؕfrom him اِنَّIndeed اِبْرٰهِیْمَIbrahim لَاَوَّاهٌ(was) compassionate حَلِیْمٌforbearing ۟(114) وَمَاAnd not كَانَis اللّٰهُ(for) Allah لِیُضِلَّthat He lets go astray قَوْمًاa people بَعْدَafter اِذْ[when] هَدٰىهُمْHe has guided them حَتّٰیuntil یُبَیِّنَHe makes clear لَهُمْto them مَّاwhat یَتَّقُوْنَ ؕthey should fear اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah بِكُلِّ(of) every شَیْءٍthing عَلِیْمٌ(is) All-Knower ۟(115) اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَهٗto Him (belongs) مُلْكُthe dominion السَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavens وَالْاَرْضِ ؕand the earth یُحْیٖHe gives life وَیُمِیْتُ ؕand He causes death وَمَاAnd not لَكُمْfor you مِّنْbesides Allah دُوْنِbesides Allah اللّٰهِbesides Allah مِنْany وَّلِیٍّprotector وَّلَاand not نَصِیْرٍany helper ۟(116) لَقَدْVerily تَّابَAllah turned (in mercy) اللّٰهُAllah turned (in mercy) عَلَیto النَّبِیِّthe Prophet وَالْمُهٰجِرِیْنَand the emigrants وَالْاَنْصَارِand the helpers الَّذِیْنَ[those] who اتَّبَعُوْهُfollowed him فِیْin سَاعَةِ(the) hour الْعُسْرَةِ(of) difficulty مِنْafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] كَادَhad nearly یَزِیْغُdeviated قُلُوْبُ(the) hearts فَرِیْقٍ(of) a party مِّنْهُمْof them ثُمَّthen تَابَHe turned (in mercy) عَلَیْهِمْ ؕto them اِنَّهٗIndeed, He بِهِمْto them رَءُوْفٌ(is) Most Kind رَّحِیْمٌMost Merciful ۟ۙ(117) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 205- Juz 11 وَّعَلَیAnd on الثَّلٰثَةِthe three الَّذِیْنَ(of) those who خُلِّفُوْا ؕwere left behind حَتّٰۤیuntil اِذَاwhen ضَاقَتْ(was) straitened عَلَیْهِمُfor them الْاَرْضُthe earth بِمَاthough رَحُبَتْit was vast وَضَاقَتْAnd (was) straitened عَلَیْهِمْfor them اَنْفُسُهُمْtheir own souls وَظَنُّوْۤاand they were certain اَنْthat لَّا(there is) no مَلْجَاَrefuge مِنَfrom اللّٰهِAllah اِلَّاۤexcept اِلَیْهِ ؕto Him ثُمَّThen تَابَHe turned (in mercy) عَلَیْهِمْto them لِیَتُوْبُوْا ؕthat they may repent اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah هُوَHe التَّوَّابُ(is) the Acceptor of repentance الرَّحِیْمُthe Most Merciful ۟۠(118) یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُواO you who believe اتَّقُواFear اللّٰهَAllah وَكُوْنُوْاand be مَعَwith الصّٰدِقِیْنَthose who are truthful ۟(119) مَاNot كَانَit was لِاَهْلِ(for) the people الْمَدِیْنَةِof the Madinah وَمَنْand who حَوْلَهُمْwere around them مِّنَof الْاَعْرَابِthe bedouins اَنْthat یَّتَخَلَّفُوْاthey remain behind عَنْafter رَّسُوْلِthe Messenger اللّٰهِof Allah وَلَاand not یَرْغَبُوْاthey prefer بِاَنْفُسِهِمْtheir lives عَنْto نَّفْسِهٖ ؕhis life ذٰلِكَThat is بِاَنَّهُمْbecause [they] لَا(does) not یُصِیْبُهُمْafflict them ظَمَاٌthirst وَّلَاand not نَصَبٌfatigue وَّلَاand not مَخْمَصَةٌhunger فِیْin سَبِیْلِ(the) way اللّٰهِ(of) Allah وَلَاand not یَطَـُٔوْنَthey step مَوْطِئًاany step یَّغِیْظُthat angers الْكُفَّارَthe disbelievers وَلَاand not یَنَالُوْنَthey inflict مِنْon عَدُوٍّan enemy نَّیْلًاan infliction اِلَّاexcept كُتِبَis recorded لَهُمْfor them بِهٖin it عَمَلٌ(as) a deed صَالِحٌ ؕrighteous اِنَّIndeed اللّٰهَAllah لَا(does) not یُضِیْعُallow to be lost اَجْرَthe reward الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(of) the good-doers ۟ۙ(120) وَلَاAnd not یُنْفِقُوْنَthey spend نَفَقَةًany spending صَغِیْرَةًsmall وَّلَاand not كَبِیْرَةًbig وَّلَاand not یَقْطَعُوْنَthey cross وَادِیًاa valley اِلَّاbut كُتِبَis recorded لَهُمْfor them لِیَجْزِیَهُمُthat Allah may reward them اللّٰهُthat Allah may reward them اَحْسَنَthe best مَا(of) what كَانُوْاthey used (to) یَعْمَلُوْنَdo ۟(121) وَمَاAnd not كَانَis الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ(for) the believers لِیَنْفِرُوْاthat they go forth كَآفَّةً ؕall together فَلَوْلَاSo if not نَفَرَgo forth مِنْfrom كُلِّevery فِرْقَةٍgroup مِّنْهُمْamong them طَآىِٕفَةٌa party لِّیَتَفَقَّهُوْاthat they may obtain understanding فِیin الدِّیْنِthe religion وَلِیُنْذِرُوْاand that they may warn قَوْمَهُمْtheir people اِذَاwhen رَجَعُوْۤاthey return اِلَیْهِمْto them لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may یَحْذَرُوْنَbeware ۟۠(122) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 206- Juz 11 یٰۤاَیُّهَاO you who believe الَّذِیْنَO you who believe اٰمَنُوْاO you who believe قَاتِلُواFight الَّذِیْنَthose who یَلُوْنَكُمْ(are) close to you مِّنَof الْكُفَّارِthe disbelievers وَلْیَجِدُوْاand let them find فِیْكُمْin you غِلْظَةً ؕharshness وَاعْلَمُوْۤاAnd know اَنَّthat اللّٰهَAllah مَعَ(is) with الْمُتَّقِیْنَthose who fear (Him) ۟(123) وَاِذَاAnd whenever مَاۤAnd whenever اُنْزِلَتْis revealed سُوْرَةٌa Surah فَمِنْهُمْamong them مَّنْ(are some) who یَّقُوْلُsay اَیُّكُمْWhich of you زَادَتْهُ(has) increased [it] هٰذِهٖۤ(by) this اِیْمَانًا ۚ(in) faith فَاَمَّاAs for الَّذِیْنَthose who اٰمَنُوْاbelieve فَزَادَتْهُمْthen it has increased them اِیْمَانًا(in) faith وَّهُمْand they یَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَrejoice ۟(124) وَاَمَّاBut as for الَّذِیْنَthose فِیْin قُلُوْبِهِمْtheir hearts مَّرَضٌ(is) a disease فَزَادَتْهُمْ(it) increases them رِجْسًا(in) evil اِلٰیto رِجْسِهِمْtheir evil وَمَاتُوْاAnd they die وَهُمْwhile they كٰفِرُوْنَ(are) disbelievers ۟(125) اَوَلَاDo not یَرَوْنَthey see اَنَّهُمْthat they یُفْتَنُوْنَare tried فِیْ[in] كُلِّevery عَامٍyear مَّرَّةًonce اَوْor مَرَّتَیْنِtwice ثُمَّYet لَاnot یَتُوْبُوْنَthey turn (in repentance) وَلَاand not هُمْthey یَذَّكَّرُوْنَpay heed ۟(126) وَاِذَاAnd whenever مَاۤAnd whenever اُنْزِلَتْis revealed سُوْرَةٌa Surah نَّظَرَlook بَعْضُهُمْsome of them اِلٰیto بَعْضٍ ؕothers هَلْDoes یَرٰىكُمْsee you مِّنْany اَحَدٍone ثُمَّThen انْصَرَفُوْا ؕthey turn away صَرَفَAllah has turned away اللّٰهُAllah has turned away قُلُوْبَهُمْtheir hearts بِاَنَّهُمْbecause they قَوْمٌ(are) a people لَّاnot یَفْقَهُوْنَthey understand ۟(127) لَقَدْCertainly جَآءَكُمْ(has) come to you رَسُوْلٌa Messenger مِّنْfrom اَنْفُسِكُمْyourselves عَزِیْزٌGrievous عَلَیْهِto him مَا(is) what عَنِتُّمْyou suffer حَرِیْصٌ(he is) concerned عَلَیْكُمْover you بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَto the believers رَءُوْفٌ(he is) kind رَّحِیْمٌ(and) merciful ۟(128) فَاِنْBut if تَوَلَّوْاthey turn away فَقُلْthen say حَسْبِیَSufficient for me اللّٰهُ ۖۗؗ(is) Allah لَاۤ(There is) no اِلٰهَgod اِلَّاexcept هُوَ ؕHim عَلَیْهِOn Him تَوَكَّلْتُI put my trust وَهُوَAnd He رَبُّ(is the) Lord الْعَرْشِ(of) the Throne الْعَظِیْمِthe Great ۟۠(129) Surah 9. At-Tawbah - Page 207- Juz 11
