قُلْSay,
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ"O mankind!
إِنَّمَآOnly
أَنَا۟I am
لَكُمْto you
نَذِيرٌa warner
مُّبِينٌclear."
﴿٤٩﴾
فَٱلَّذِينَSo those who
ءَامَنُواْbelieve
وَعَمِلُواْand do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deeds -
لَهُمfor them
مَّغْفِرَةٌ(is) forgiveness
وَرِزْقٌand a provision
كَرِيمٌnoble.
﴿٥٠﴾
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those who
سَعَوْاْstrove
فِىٓagainst
ءَايَـٰتِنَاOur Verses,
مُعَـٰجِزِينَ(to) cause failure,
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَthose
أَصْحَـٰبُ(are the) companions
ٱلْجَحِيمِ(of) the Hellfire.
﴿٥١﴾
قُلۡ يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا لَـكُمۡ نَذِيۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌۚ
فَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّرِزۡقٌ كَرِيۡمٌ
وَالَّذِيۡنَ سَعَوۡا فِىۡۤ اٰيٰتِنَا مُعٰجِزِيۡنَ اُولٰٓـئِكَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَحِيۡمِ
(22:49) Say (O Muhammad): "O people! I have been sent to you only as a plain
warner94 (before the Doom strikes you)." (22:50) So those who believe and act righteously shall be granted forgiveness
and an honourable sustenance,95 (22:51) whereas those who strive against Our Signs, seeking to profane them,
they are the friends of the Fire!
94. That is, I am merely a warner and not the maker of your destinies. It is Allah Who passes judgment and decides about the punishment.
95. The believers shall have forgiveness’ means that Allah will overlook their faults, weaknesses, and acts of omission and commission. They will have honorable provisions means that they will have excellent supplies which will be given to them in an honorable way.
