Quran Text of Verse 41-50اَلَمْDo notتَرَyou seeاَنَّthatاللّٰهَAllahیُسَبِّحُglorifyلَهٗHimمَنْwhoeverفِی(is) inالسَّمٰوٰتِthe heavensوَ الْاَرْضِand the earthوَ الطَّیْرُand the birdsصٰٓفّٰتٍ ؕ(with) wings outspreadكُلٌّEach oneقَدْverilyعَلِمَknowsصَلَاتَهٗits prayerوَ تَسْبِیْحَهٗ ؕand its glorificationوَ اللّٰهُAnd Allahعَلِیْمٌۢ(is) All-Knowerبِمَاof whatیَفْعَلُوْنَ they do وَ لِلّٰهِAnd to Allah (belongs)مُلْكُ(the) dominionالسَّمٰوٰتِ(of) the heavensوَ الْاَرْضِ ۚand the earthوَ اِلَیAnd toاللّٰهِAllahالْمَصِیْرُ (is) the destination اَلَمْDo notتَرَyou seeاَنَّthatاللّٰهَAllahیُزْجِیْdrivesسَحَابًاcloudsثُمَّthenیُؤَلِّفُjoinsبَیْنَهٗbetween themثُمَّthenیَجْعَلُهٗmakes themرُكَامًا(into) a massفَتَرَیthen you seeالْوَدْقَthe rainیَخْرُجُcome forthمِنْfromخِلٰلِهٖ ۚtheir midstوَ یُنَزِّلُAnd He sends downمِنَfromالسَّمَآءِ(the) skyمِنْ[from]جِبَالٍmountainsفِیْهَاwithin itمِنْۢ[of]بَرَدٍ(is) hailفَیُصِیْبُand He strikesبِهٖwith itمَنْwhomیَّشَآءُHe willsوَ یَصْرِفُهٗand averts itعَنْfromمَّنْwhomیَّشَآءُ ؕHe willsیَكَادُNearlyسَنَا(the) flashبَرْقِهٖ(of) its lightingیَذْهَبُtakes awayبِالْاَبْصَارِؕthe sight 24. An-Nur Page 356یُقَلِّبُAllah alternatesاللّٰهُAllah alternatesالَّیْلَthe nightوَ النَّهَارَ ؕand the dayاِنَّIndeedفِیْinذٰلِكَthatلَعِبْرَةًsurely is a lessonلِّاُولِیfor those who have visionالْاَبْصَارِ for those who have vision وَ اللّٰهُAnd Allahخَلَقَcreatedكُلَّeveryدَآبَّةٍmoving creatureمِّنْfromمَّآءٍ ۚwaterفَمِنْهُمْOf themمَّنْ(is a kind) whoیَّمْشِیْwalksعَلٰیonبَطْنِهٖ ۚits bellyوَ مِنْهُمْand of themمَّنْ(is a kind) whoیَّمْشِیْwalksعَلٰیonرِجْلَیْنِ ۚtwo legsوَ مِنْهُمْand of themمَّنْ(is a kind) whoیَّمْشِیْwalksعَلٰۤیonاَرْبَعٍ ؕfourیَخْلُقُAllah createsاللّٰهُAllah createsمَاwhatیَشَآءُ ؕHe willsاِنَّIndeedاللّٰهَAllahعَلٰیonكُلِّeveryشَیْءٍthingقَدِیْرٌ (is) All-Powerful لَقَدْVerilyاَنْزَلْنَاۤWe have sent downاٰیٰتٍVersesمُّبَیِّنٰتٍ ؕclearوَ اللّٰهُAnd AllahیَهْدِیْguidesمَنْwhomیَّشَآءُHe willsاِلٰیtoصِرَاطٍa pathمُّسْتَقِیْمٍ straight وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَAnd they sayاٰمَنَّاWe believeبِاللّٰهِin Allahوَ بِالرَّسُوْلِand in the Messengerوَ اَطَعْنَاand we obeyثُمَّThenیَتَوَلّٰیturns awayفَرِیْقٌa partyمِّنْهُمْof themمِّنْۢafterبَعْدِafterذٰلِكَ ؕthatوَ مَاۤAnd notاُولٰٓىِٕكَthoseبِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ (are) believers وَ اِذَاAnd whenدُعُوْۤاthey are calledاِلَیtoاللّٰهِAllahوَ رَسُوْلِهٖand His Messengerلِیَحْكُمَto judgeبَیْنَهُمْbetween themاِذَاbeholdفَرِیْقٌa partyمِّنْهُمْof themمُّعْرِضُوْنَ (is) averse وَ اِنْBut ifیَّكُنْisلَّهُمُwith themالْحَقُّthe truthیَاْتُوْۤاthey comeاِلَیْهِto himمُذْعِنِیْنَؕ(as) promptly obedient اَفِیْIs (there) inقُلُوْبِهِمْtheir heartsمَّرَضٌa diseaseاَمِorارْتَابُوْۤاdo they doubtاَمْorیَخَافُوْنَthey fearاَنْthatیَّحِیْفَAllah will be unjustاللّٰهُAllah will be unjustعَلَیْهِمْto themوَ رَسُوْلُهٗ ؕand His MessengerبَلْNayاُولٰٓىِٕكَthoseهُمُ[they]الظّٰلِمُوْنَ۠(are) the wrongdoers

Translation of Verse 41-50

41. Do you not see that Allah is glorified by all those in the heavens and the earth, even the birds as they soar? Each ˹instinctively˺ knows their manner of prayer and glorification. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all they do.

42. To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah is the final return.

43. Do you not see that Allah gently drives the clouds, then joins them together, piling them up into masses, from which you see raindrops come forth? And He sends down from the sky mountains ˹of clouds˺ loaded with hail, pouring it on whoever He wills and averting it from whoever He wills. The flash of the clouds' lightning nearly takes away eyesight.

44. Allah alternates the day and night. Surely in this is a lesson for people of insight.

45. And Allah has created from water every living creature. Some of them crawl on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything.

46. We have indeed sent down revelations clarifying ˹the truth˺. But Allah ˹only˺ guides whoever He wills to the Straight Path.

47. And the hypocrites say, "We believe in Allah and the Messenger, and we obey." Then a group of them turns away soon after that. These are not ˹true˺ believers.

48. And as soon as they are called to Allah and His Messenger so he may judge between them, a group of them ⁷¹⁵ turns away.

49. But if the truth is in their favour, they come to him, fully submitting.

50. Is there a sickness in their hearts? Or are they in doubt? Or do they fear that Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them? In fact, it is they who are the ˹true˺ wrongdoers.
